As I was listening to episode 10 of The Wizard, the Witch, and the Wild One, by @worldsbeyondpod, I tried my hand at wet on wet watercolors.

My go at Orima trying to reach her husband.

I was listening to ep 9 when I had the idea to try and paint something while I was listening to one. Today I was post physical therapy and not up to much else and water colors required the least effort of pulling supplies out/set up.

I painted Sun and Moon in watercolours yesterday! :D

I learned that I still do not like using markers for lineart and DO NOT under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES use posca pens with watercolours, it mixed with the colour so much, it was not worth it. I just hope I didn't ruin the posca pen 'cause I like it. Also I kinda prefer the lighter pencil lines from the sketch with these.

But yeah, I had loads of fun which was awesome 'cause I've always hated watercolours with a passion

Recently we got a bunch new supplies at work, with them a bunch of new markers that you can water color with! I immediately fell in love with the pigments and how nicely they water color :'3

(Tho some colors tend to go grey, that's typically cuz u use too much water, but with colors like yellow you see the marker strokes and you can't hide them under the color itself so I tend to use too much water X'D)

AND we also got some sparking water colors! They are truely amazing and I kinda accidentally hid my shading under the gold sparkles whoops :'3

Well, this was mostly a test piece but tbh I think I've discovered my side of traditional painting! X33

I finally got the Wayfarer Art finished today :'D I'm super thrilled with how it came out and now you guys can see why it took so long too to finish. I've been wanting to do a quilt background for ages and decided it'd be an excellent time to do just that X3 Also I am thinking of sewing felt Gingerbread versions of Ernest and Dorian to go with the Foxlings Gingerbread Garland I have over on my bed frame. I also want to thank everyone who have taken their time to read my fan fiction, this one has been a journey to say the very least and we're just getting ready to finish up act one of this fiction (Yep this is just the start :( ).
