If Fire and Swift make their own clans, and if Tiger gets to stay in Starclan as founder of Tigerclan, would Fire and Swift be allowed in Starclan as 'founders' of Fireclan/Lionclan and Swiftclan/Leopardclan? What if Fire is father of Hawk, Moth, and Tadpole/Frog? Since he left and joined Bloodclan at one point. Also, say the dogs still got loose and still killed Swift, how would Fire, Bramble, Twany, Golden and Tiger deal with it? Would Tiger watch his kids more, especially since the Fire happened shortly before Swift's death, and that had caused him to nearly lose both Bramble and Fireheart? Ashkit and Firekit being good friends would be a great mirror to Whitestorm and Tigerclawstar's friendship, too. Who would Tiger mentor Firepaw too after Bluestar's death? With Swiftpaw and Tigerclawstar dead, would Firestar have an easier time of desolving Tigerclan back into 3?

Would Swift and Fire get into StarClan?

I'm ruling that the Founder Exception kicks in when your Clan is stable and will last a while. So Tigerstar gets into StarClan this time because TigerClan was inherited by Firestar.

Ergo, if SwiftClan/LeopardClan and FireClan/LionClan survive, Fire and Swift will get into StarClan no matter what they do in life.

That said I think this is still only applicable to Swift, Fire's defined as a character by making ruthless choices for the greater good, and snatching mercy and compassion from the jaws of his violent circumstances. I can't see him going to the Dark Forest.

The Dogs & A Premature Death of Swift

If the dogs kill Swift in this timeline, it wouldn't be related at all to a Tiger scheme. He has no need to do it; his coup succeeds and he becomes leader of ThunderClan.

(Swift WOULD be a warrior by this point, though, Tiger wouldn't delay his ceremony.)

I think it's more likely that Tigerstar learns of the dogs, finds it bizarre that they're loose in the woods, but constructs a patrol to deal with them. It could be the case that Swift is overeager to prove himself and gets mauled to death because he refuses to run. (Though I think it's likely that Fire would be there to save his ass)

SO ANYWAY the real meat of this question is how the family would react to the premature death of Swift, right?

I think it'd be too much for little Bramble. Too much death and pressure at a young age; he wouldn't want to engage with combat or the expectations of being Tigerstar's son. I think he would want to become a medicine cat after this, but get forced into being Fire's apprentice.

It would work out timeline-wise that Bramble goes with his older brother into BloodClan.

For Tawny, I think it would be shocking to Fire to hear her say, "He shouldn't have been dumb, it's his fault!" Sounds EXACTLY like their father. Fire would know that Swift only died to impress Tigerstar, and he'd suddenly worry Tawny will meet a similar fate.

Or worse. She really will be the next Tigerstar.

Goldenflower and Fire are predictably mortified. They're very similar people. I don't know how much it would really CHANGE though, since they're already pretty horrified by this point.

Tigerstar reacts a lot like Tawny, but it comes from a place of pride. He can't let it be his fault because Tigerstar never blames himself, so he just blames Swift for his own death. He gave him an opportunity and Swift blundered it one last time.

The Fire

I think the purpose of the fire in this AU would be another moment where Fire himself feels conflicted about Tigerstar. Tigerstar and him would charge back in together to save everyone, and I think they'd be able to save both Bramblekit AND Patchpelt. Tiger loses a life to do it.

It's another of those moments where Fire can't see him as completely bad, respecting his power and bravery.

After this, with the territory devastated, ThunderClan would be forced to start taking land from other Clans as it recovered. Fire would see it as a necessary evil with this renewed sense of respect for his dad... but still feel wrong about the whole thing.

Firepaw's Mentorship

I think it makes sense Tigerstar would mentor his own kid, yeah. It's kind of a taboo for fathers to mentor their own children, but when he's leader he makes the rules.

On that note, Tigerstar's first deputy would be Whitestorm.

And when that was done I took the little tray of barbacoa out of the now dirty nasty grease splattered microwaved and took a bite but it was gristle so I gagged and picked at it w my fork and threw away all the pieces of it with gristle in them so your 12 dollar pound got reduced to about an 12 dollar ¼ of a pound serving. So yeah I had me a plate of it but it was bland so I used up all your fucking worchestershire sauce. I was standing at your open fridge with a steamy ass plate of meat in there and was all up on your fridges side drawer using up all your fucking worchestershire like a fuck ton like over half of what you had left and a little bit of A1 but it was old almost empty and crusty around the rim so I gagged into your fridge but didnt clean the rim up. Then put the empty crusty bottle back. Well by then the grease congealed back into tallow by then so it made me gag when I turned to look at it and threw it away. I want to go home. I can see a very specific way Jessie is a bad cook, and one that would be hard for her to learn out of between the logic involved and her personal history:

She overloads her dishes.

If something tastes good in a dish, she will add it, even if she's already added three contrasting flavors. She makes a curry, and adds poultry, potatoes, carrots and onions... And then adds apples and honey because that adds a good sweet flavor. And then she adds eggplant, zucchini and mushrooms because Delia got fresh produce and farm-fresh veggies are always a good option! And then she adds some salmon, because seafood curry is delicious, and some worchestershire sauce to bring out the saltiness of the fish and umami of the veg, and on top of that Delia's own trick with coffee is a spoon of instant coffee but that one twerp friend of Ash's, Brock, always recommends a block of chocolate, right? Well, both go in.

She ends up making this gelatinous _mass_ that's only edible by Ash's Muk by the time she's done. Her attempts after are still not good but not as bad as the 'Dark Type-Curry', and she and Delia ended up having takeout instead.

YESSSSS this is so good! She just gets too excited in the kitchen 😭

I feel like there's been a few episodes in the show where does exactly this. Like she just starts dumping random food into a dish that's probably already done and then when everyone eats it, she's the only one to not think it tastes horrible

ソース → ❌ Sauce → ✅ Japanese style worchestershire sauce

In Japanese common usage, the word 「ソース」 only refers to a specific subcategory of sauce - japanese style worchestershire sauces. Although in certain technical circumstances, 「ソース」 may also carry the broader meaning that the english equivalent does, calling something like soy sauce 「ソース」 in a regular conversation won’t get your meaning across.¹

We can see this in the Japanese Wikipedia article for ソース. Though the article is about the broader definition of sauce, there is a notice at the top of the page:

“This article is about the general name for a liquid or paste used to season food (the broad definition of 「ソース」). For Worchestershire Sauce (the narrow definition of 「ソース」), see Worchestershire Sauce.”² (my translation)

Side note: I know it's a meme but "Worchestershire" isn't hard to say. It's just "wooster-sheer".

Though ソース can be found as a part of various other words ( ミートソース/meat sauce; ホワイトソース/white sauce; トマトソース/tomato (pasta) sauce), when it is used just by itself, it almost exclusively refers to worchestershire sauce varieties. For example, you can’t abbreviate ミートソース to ソース, even when the context is clear.

Within the category of what Japanese speakers mean when they say ソース, we have ウスターソース, which is similar to the thin English Worchestershire sauce; 濃厚ソース, which is sometimes marketed as tonkatsu sauce and is very thick and viscous; and 中濃ソース which is somewhere in　between. お好み焼きソース is also a type of ソース, similar to 濃厚ソース.³

グリーンピース → ❌ Greenpeace → ✅ peas

Yep… the word グリーンピース doesn’t refer to the environmental activism organisation Greenpeace, which I discovered to some surprise during an actual conversation with my Japanese partner. Since Greenpeace is famous for its anti-whaling stance, and Japan is the country with the highest levels of whaling in the world,⁴ it was only natural to assume that it was a direct transliteration of the organisation’s name. Maybe it’s a common point of discussion in Japan, I thought.

In reality, it literally just means peas. Green peas. An instance of the plural being built into the transliteration (like バケツ), since Japan has no plurals. It’s weird that it’s not グリーンピーズ though, don’t you think? I guess we can just chalk that up to an initial pronunciation error that carried though to the modern day.⁵

Why hasn’t it been shortened to ピース? Well:

Because ピース means “the peace sign”. This word/pose is so common in Japanese culture that shortening グリーンピース to ピース would likely be confusing.

To be clear, the organisation’s name is also transliterated as グリーンピース, but overwhelmingly in regular conversation, グリーンピース will mean “peas”.

トレーナー → ❌ trainers (sneakers) → ✅ sweatshirt

This might not necessarily be a trap word for people from the US, but it is at least a funny place for 和製英語 to show up. According to this source, this word was invented by a fashion designer named Kensuke Ijizu, who was apparently a big boxing fan, and noticed that the trainers always wore sweatshirts, and so decided to name the clothing 「トレーナー」 when he released his designs in Japan⁶. It’s rare that a trap word has such a clear explanation for how it came about! めっちゃスッキリした！

However, スウェット and スウェットシャツ are also both commonly used in Japanese, meaning the same as トレーナー, so this is really only a problem while listening, not while speaking.⁷ It’s also worth noting that トレーナー does mean “trainer” as in like, a personal trainer. That’s where the weird word for sweatshirt comes from, after all.
