Ahsoka decided make them facials their favorite guys, since the war with burns and today in damages their beautiful skin, a skincare will not kill them even if they think it’s a girl thing
Tup *innocent baby, laying on the floor*: Hey Commander, do you ever think it strange that your birthday is never just your birthday?
Ahoska *upside down on a couch, confused*: What?
Fives *sprawled out on another couch*: Y'know? Because there are other people born on the same day as you?
Ahsoka *shrugs*: That's never bothered me before.
Echo *drapped over the arm of Ahsoka's couch*: I think the strangest part is that you may never meet a person with the same birthday as you, but they'll always be out there.
Ahsoka *hums*: I suppose when you put it that way.....
Kix *severely sleep deprived laying on the floor*: Not if you hunt them all down and kill them.
Jesse *head resting on Kix's stomach, clicks his fingers*: He's got a point Commander.
Ahsoka *shaking her head*: Do not even think about it.
I'm intrigued by the fact that two episodes in and we've no mention of Kanan or even Jacen (whose presence would logically lead to a discussion of Kanan). I wonder if the writers have something interesting planned for later episdoes?
Because if you think about it. Sabine's decision to train as a Jedi with Ahsoka is of course inspired by Ezra - he's the one she's held out hope of finding after all these years, and she carries his lightsaber. And of course in being trained by Ahsoka, she's learning how to be Ahsoka's version of a Jedi (or a not-Jedi). But any version of a Jedi that Sabine is has to be inspired by Kanan as much as by Ezra and Sabine. Kanan was the one who first taught her how to wield the Darksaber. Kanan was a part of the Ghost crew by her side long before they ever met Ezra. Kanan (and Hera) were the ones who were there for her when her family sided with the Empire against her. Kanan was the first Jedi she ever met. There's simply no way that Kanan isn't in her thoughts and shaping her ideas of what a Jedi is.
It's also fascinating to think about the scene that was paralleled between the two of them: the beginning of Sabine's new journey is the end of Kanan's last. Kanan cuts off his hair before he embarks on his final journey as a Jedi, and of accepting himself as a Jedi Knight, and of accepting himself as Caleb Dume. Sabine cuts off her hair at the beginning of her journey to accepting herself as a Jedi, and of finding out what being a Jedi means to her.
Makes you wonder if there's other parallels between the two of them that we'll see later on.
