Hooray for 2k!

We have reached 2k! Thank you for supporting me! ;~; I seriously just made this tumblr account/blog so that I can archive my old edits, but it bloomed so much that it made me edit more stuff with a lot of detail! (and I eventually advertised it .__.)

As always, will strive to do more caps, colorings, edits (and drawings :d) for everyone!

Here’s an old sketch I did,  traced and improved digitally (for u guys hehe). This came from the MV “Blood, Sweat and Tears” by BTS (any ARMYs in here?) but I changed everyone with Kanekis (TG up to TG:re)! So, it’s still TG-related right :’D.

One of the things I like the most about Touka and Kaneki as a couple, is that thanks to Kaneki’s multiple personalities, fanfic writers have a lot more possibilities to write about them while still being canon. There’s edgy Kaneki, fluffy Kaneki, vanilla Kaneki and scared Kaneki and they all love Touka. Which means although there are only two people involved in this ship, the stories to write about them can go anywhere. With that being said, I need more reaper Kaneki fanfics! 🥺 pls do it.

i really really really really REALLY love this aspect of touka & kaneki too 😭the multiple canon interpretations are so fun to play with! this ship has taken me to so many distant locales, lmao. regarding reaper kaneki, i feel like out of all of them i’ve written him the least...i really haven’t written tg in a while and to be honest i don’t have any ideas in mind currently, but, touken sails close to my heart, you’ll know where to find a makkuronek fic if i ever get to one again :’)

Mind if I rant out

the anime adaptations for tokyo ghoul + re are fuckin horrible. i literally watched 2 episodes of re and i dont even know if i wanna continue LOL how tf yall on episode 7 and already starting up the tsukiyama extermination arc? this shit took up to over 50 chapters to build up and yall just breezed past all of the previous arcs? theres not enough sufficient character building being animated that’s in the manga. this why sole anime watchers are confused and could care less about the CCG but when I was reading the manga, it gave me strong moral gray vibes so that I could feel for both ghoul and the CCG sides. 

yall really going to kill off shirazu, kanae, matsumae, ihei, etc. at the end of episode 11 or 12? sickening. i cant believe they cant even animate the little subtleties between characters. Akira and Haise hug? Non-existent. How tf are ppl supposed to grasp how deep their connection was when they barely have any interaction? 

idk why im so pissed off at it. As someone who was a huuuuge fucking fan of tokyo ghoul until like idk before the clown arc, i think :re should AT LEAST have the proper adaptation it deserves bc early tgre was at it’s most hypest, theory-driven, plot-thickening pinnacle of its career. and yall wanna zig zag ur way through the work. Tokyo Ghoul--first of all--deserves an accurate adaptation that follows the manga and should not be driven into a different route (i.e Root A). It should segway into :re and continue on consistently. One last thing--why the animation quality so horrible?? Studio Bones or Wit Studio need to pick this up instead. Man, im really going through it rn jaldskjg UGH OK IM DONE
