- hisoka would be thrilled to say the least. he’s come across strong people like chrollo or ilumi, but a lover that is stronger than him? hisoka’s going to enjoy the thrill of it.

- he’s going to pick fights with you, just to see the angry look on your face as you threaten to kill him, and then take the opportunity to propose a fight between the both of you as a show of power.

- you could be sitting and watching a movie with him and he’ll switch of the television at the climax, just to see the angry look on your face which he adores to death.

- lots and lots of play fights. hisoka’s not going to seriously kill you, but he’s going to constantly play fighting with you, like tackling you onto the bed or just showcasing his skills and taunting you.

- “what’s wrong, y/n?” hisoka taunts as he releases his bloodlust. “scared?”

- “i swear, hisoka, i am going to kill you one day.”

- “oh? so you don’t want to kill me now?” he continues.

- hisoka’s going to make you join the heavens arena with him, just so he can challenge you later on since he’s sure that you’re capable of becoming a floor master.

- if you agree, hisoka would eagerly count down the days when he’ll finally be able to fight you, his darling, in front of so many people. if you don’t want to join heavens arena, hisoka’s going to pester you about it, but will eventually give up if you stand firm.

- you’ll have to constantly be prepared from any surprise attacks from your lover. for all you know, the both of you could be making dinner together when he’ll attach his bungee gum to a pot or pan and throw it at you.

- hisoka loves to get under your skin and make you snap so you’ll give him what he wants- a fight with you.

- mans gets absolutely turned on the minute you glare at him and/or threaten to kill him. he’s going to stand there right in front of you with a smile on his face.

- “hmm, i adore that look on your face, my beautiful y/n.”

- being stronger than hisoka also means there would be a lot of fighting for dominance. this includes in bed and outside of it. whatever the both of you do, it’ll always result in a fight for dominance, and hisoka is going to make it worse.

- “if i win, you’ll have to obey me and do anything i want for a day.” hisoka smiles eerily at you.

- and he’s going to do whatever it takes for you to lose.

- as much of a playful lover he is, hisoka would be put at ease knowing that you can protect yourself from danger and threats whenever there is a need to. that way, he can run off to somewhere else for a longer period of time without having to worry about his precious darling.

- illumi’s going to be okay with you being stronger or weaker than him, although he’ll be a little surprised to know that he’s seeing someone that can overpower him.

- once he knows how strong you are, he’s going to ask for your hand in marriage- and then proceed to start a family with you as soon as possible in order to raise future assassins worthy to continue the Zoldyck family line and reputation.

- if you aren’t sure that you want to marry illumi, he’ll still inform kikyo and silva to get rid of any potential partners as he’s already found one.

- illumi is well aware that a gem like you is a one in a million, so he’s going to obsessively keep track of you and whatever you’re doing. he knows that you can protect yourself, but he’s still going to watch over you and get rid of anyone that might jeopardize his relationship with yours.

- not only that, he’ll also bring you over to the Zoldyck estate for dinner at any chance gets. that way, his parents can get to know you better, and at the same time, he’s going to use his little siblings to get close to you and make you feel attached.

- in addition, Killua and Kalluto would no doubt love having you around during dinner times, and would stick close to you and ask you or sorts of questions as you stroll around the estate or spend the night there with illumi.

- Killua would take this chance to tease the hell out of his oldest brother.

- “how does it feel being stronger than the oldest child of the Zoldyck family, y/n?”

- “i bet you can kill illumi, right?how about sticking one of his own needles into him?” Killua teased, earning an annoyed look from his oldest brother.

- kalluto would be the one that would be the most attached to you, especially if you’re kindhearted and gentle towards him. as a Zoldyck, he and his brothers have never experienced affection before, so if you show him any, the young boy would stick to you like glue, either observing you or asking you tons of questions, much to illumi’s annoyance. poor illumi planned to spend the time with you, but his adorable brothers would end up stealing you away from him.

- on the rare occasion that Milluki does come out of his room, he’s going to stick to your side like Killua and Kalluto does, and would invite you into his room and proudly showcase his different figurines and cut-out boards of his favorite character, or he’ll take up your attention at the dinner table to show you his latest invention.

- even though you know nobody is allowed to visit Alluka, if you manage to convince silva and illumi, you’ll be able to get a limited time with Alluka. She would no doubt be surprised to see a foreign face, since the butlers were the only ones to go into her room to bring her food at meal times. Alluka would be her usual self, cheerful and adorable around you. like the rest of her siblings, she’ll want you to be around as you play with her. however, you usually don’t stick around for more than 5 minutes, and illumi would be near the door, stiffening every time Alluka asks you a question. Illumi knows how dangerous it can get, so he’ll pick you up and carry you out of the room before you can even react.

- likewise, his parents would adore you. they’re going to ask you lots of questions like how typical parents do, and would do their best to have you as their daughter-in-law. with someone strong like you getting together with the oldest Zoldyck son, the next generation of Zoldycks would no doubt be better than before, and the world isn’t- and will never be ready for it.

- being stronger than illumi would also give him the excuse to ask you to train with him, and sometimes he would bring you along to one or two of his jobs, so he can spend time with you afterwards without his younger siblings that would snatch you away from illumi the minute they know that you’re visiting.

- no matter what, illumi would be at ease, knowing that he has such a strong and independent woman by his side, and he’ll be sure to never let you slip through his hands.

- chrollo doesn’t really mind if you’re weaker or stronger than him. if you manage to catch the eye of the leader of the most notorious gang of thieves, it is already considered impressive.

- however, no matter how strong you are, chrollo would manipulate you into joining the phantom troupe and using you to carry out missions along with the rest of the troupe. chrollo has no remorse or whatsoever for using you for his benefit as he knows you can protect yourself, but he would sometimes stop you from going on missions that could even put your life in danger.

- chrollo knows that you’re able to take care of yourself, so he’ll allow you to roam around without him. however, he’s going to sent one or two spiders to secretly follow you to make sure you are’t being put in the slightest danger. chrollo simply cannot have someone like you being swayed or hurt by anyone else, whether intentionally or not.

- you may be stronger than chrollo, but that doesn’t mean that he’s going to let you do as you please- he’s still going to have you wrapped around his finger, and the only time you get to dominate him is in bed. but still, he wouldn’t let you be on top unless he’s in a good mood and sees you begging.

- you’re a valuable asset to both chrollo and the troupe, so chrollo’s going to pamper you at any chance and make sure nothing happens to you.

- once he introduces you to the phantom troupe, get ready for a ton of questions from some of the members. where are you from? how did you and chrollo meet? how long have the both of you been together?

- chrollo would make sure to keep an eye on you whenever you’re with the other troupe members. he knows how members like nobunaga, uvogin, or phinks would often challenge you to a duel. one look from him and they’re back to timid little cats.

- chrollo would also make you submit to him completely, no matter what he must do to make it happen. if it means having to cut you off from everyone else in order for you to submit to him, chrollo would do it in a heartbeat.

- although he may not feel anything when it comes to manipulating and using you, there’s a reason why chrollo chose to be with you despite not knowing that you’re stronger than him at first. chrollo would take the time to listen to you as you speak, or hold you close as you sit on his lap and read together with him, all to make you feel closer to him, so that you won’t have any thoughts about leaving him. no matter how mentally strong you are, chrollo would be able to crack down on you. he isn’t the master of deception for no reason at all.

- even if you do realize he’s using you, chrollo wouldn’t hesitate to guilt trip you into thinking otherwise.

- “is this what you think of me, y/n?” he asked, feigning hurt.

- “how could you think that of me, even after i’ve given you all my love?”

- likewise with illumi, chrollo would want to have a child with you, just to pass down the combined powers from the both of you so the child can grow up and continue their father’s ‘legacy’. of course, chrollo’s not going to tell you that. and unless you desperately want a child, he’s not going to say anything or suggest anything to you. after all, he already has the phantom troupe and you, whom he treats like a family.

- all in all, you sometimes can’t be sure if chrollo’s keeping you around because he loves you or he’s just using you. you just have to make sure that you don’t disobey him and make him mad. nobody knows what an angry chrollo can do. for all you know, angry chrollo might be stronger than you.

I saw this headcanon of killugon thinking about wishing for a kid to nanika so I'm sharing a thought : I'm assuming nanika could mix their genes, so when they talk about their kid they start messing with each other like "I hope they don't get your skills at math!" or "well I hope they don't get your sweet tooth! !" until it escalates to soft things like "I hope they get your fluffy hair" or "I hope they get your eyes"

Killua and Gon wishing for a kid sends me. I’m not really sure if Nanika can actually do it (can she summon people? lmk lmk), but assuming that she CAN, this would be the most adorable wish these two dorks could ever make for themselves.

The moment they found out that they can do it, they’d look at each other and just- LIGHT BULB FLICKERS ON because they’ve been married for five years now and seeing Kurapika and Leorio’s adopted sons, they’ve been thinking about having one of their own. Alluka is the most anxious and excited. She wants to have baby niece so much. A baby girl then.

Absolutely sold with the idea that they would mix and match first before wishing. They would make a list of the traits that they don’t like first, yes, like what you said, and they would argue over it. They would FIGHT. “Are you saying I’m stupid!?” “You have to admit that you’re weak in this!” “Fine! Have it your way!” “You’re being unreasonable!” “I don’t care! Wish for a child on you own!” “Fine!” “Good!” DOOR SLAM.

Killua would call Leorio and Gon would call Kurapika to VENT. And being the best big bros that they are, they would give them the advice that they need. Start with the good things. What do you like the most about each other? Then they’d think about it: Gon loves Killua’s eyes, Killua loves Gon’s smile, Gon loves Killua’s mind, Killua loves Gon’s nature boy instincts, etc etc. COUNTLESS. And just the thought of it sends their hearts to yearn for the each other’s presence.

Apologies. They make up. Warm, gentle smiles while thinking of every single thing they love about each other. They agree to write it down, and while doing so, they couldn’t help but steal kisses on each other’s cheeks because they had to express the overflowing glee in their chests somehow. Man, thinking of the good things about the love of your life tastes like sugar on their lips. Sweet, cheesy. How could one love someone THAT MUCH? They become more determined to have a child, to share the love and happiness that they have for each other with a little one of their own. Yes, this is right. Yes, this feels right. Yes, they are ready.

The most precious baby girl. They will give her the world and more.

Everyone is there when she is conceived. They cry happy tears. The feeling is indescribable. Loving smiles on their faces as they learn their girl’s features, their hearts swelling of awe. It’s amazing. She’s beautiful. She’s perfect. They will protect her with their all. They will love her forever. They will love her more than their own lives.

Why do you think Killua left Gon? I've seen several takes on this (some of the saddest being that Killua straight up replaced Gon with Alluka). And what do you think it will take for Killua to come back?

UGHHHH those sad takes make me so depressed !! I honestly don’t buy into the whole “Killua’s disappointed by Gon’s actions, he replaced him with Alluka, he’s mad at Gon” takes, because it seems so out of character for me !!

I mentioned in my previous ask (idk if you’re the same person haha) but i’m going to write about it more in a meta post. But basically, I think that Killua was purposefully lying to drive Gon away from him to protect him.

We’ve seen Killua move heaven and earth for Gon in CAA, he was prepared and willing to die with him, and put him above anything and anyone else. And then, suddenly, he makes the decision to leave him because he has Alluka? I don’t buy into that at all. I think Togashi is leading us towards thinking “killua’s mad at gon” but he’s really just trying to protect him.

Killua knows Illumi is after him, and that he wants to take control of both Killua and Alluka. Killua has also seen the reality of Gon’s morality and self destructive behavior. He saw him in a coma, his entire body absolutely destroyed because he wanted revenge and lost control.

I think what happened is that, after seeing how far Gon was willing to go to protect/avenge the ones he loves, he decided to do the best thing for Gon and leave so he can’t hurt himself in case Killua gets hurt while getting chased by Illumi. If Illumi even only scratched Killua, Gon would go absolutely crazy and would do ANYTHING to tear him down, and Killua knows it. But he doesn’t want to witness it, he doesn’t want his best friend to end up as he did before, just to protect him.

So he made the hardest choice he could ever make, all for the sake of protecting his most precious friend : he made him believe he didn’t need him anymore. That would explain the sad expression after he turns around, the “you’re second place” comment, how it seems he moved on so fast when he was ready to die with him earlier : he was lying and trying to convince Gon that he didn’t need him around anymore, so Gon couldn’t follow him and get hurt again.

As for what it would take for Killua to come back, I think, if everything I said above is accurate, that it would only take Illumi dying for him to go see Gon again. Knowing the threat is gone, he could finally allow himself to hang out around Gon more.

I'm thinking again how Gon and Killua learned so much from each other, they were that right person they needed in that exact moment. The way their paths crossed makes me think how destiny chose itself how the things have to go and that nothing, or more or less, is never random–

The things they made during their journeys, maybe nor Killua and neither Gon had enough courage to do, alone. Gon had already his goal, yes, but that strength only Killua gave to him even more hope and faith to keep going at his search for Ging. I think that when he thanked Killua a thousands times he wanted to express this too, and this is his way to express how Killua is so important to him as much as he's for Killua. After all even for him Killua was his first and precious friend.

And also Killua, well, we know that without Gon he couldn't get away from the darkness. Without his feelings and will to protect Gon, he maybe couldn't be able to remove Illumi's needle and he never remembered of Alluka and having the courage to give her freedom.

Thanks to each other, they made so many things neither them thought to do.

They are that little proof, in a fictional way, that people finding each other in a way, and the right person will be there when this will be the right time.

In My Next Life (Killugon One Shot)

Gon was sixteen when his best friend died. They’d been best friends for four years, been through hell and back together. And Gon wasn’t even there to see his last breaths. He hated that, hated it with a burning passion. After everything that had happened, the pain, the fights, the loneliness- Gon wasn’t there for Killua. Again.

They had been hunters, skilled hunters from the age of twelve. The strongest? No, not by any means. But no one could deny that they were special. It was understandable, though. Gon, the only son of the world’s greatest hunter and born of Nen, and Killua, the heir and the most skilled and infamous assassins the world has ever known. They were born from greatness.

So how was it that Gon’s life had become so ordinary, so mundane? The young hunter split from his best friend in order to see his father, and in order for Killua to give his baby sister the world. This was under the pretense that they’d always be friends and always be in contact. Well Gon stayed with Ging a grand total of three days, and with Kite and his friends another two, before he was on his way back to Whale Island to complete years of school work with Mito.

He and Killua didn’t stay in contact. Not often, anyway. Gon tried at first, but the guilt from what he’d done to Killua after Kite died ate away at him and caused his sanity to decay. He found that Killua’s scattered replies and the fact that things were different pulled him further and further from his other half. Soon he stopped reaching out and soon Killua stopped replying as well. Mito learned fairly quickly to stop mentioning the former assassin.

The next time he heard any mention of his chocolate loving best friend was the announcement from Alluka of his death.

What hurt Gon the most, what shook him to the core and destroyed the remaining traces of his innocence, was how the young Zoldyck passed. It wasn’t his brother or the disturbed magician. It wasn’t someone seeking revenge on the family of assassins for the death of a loved one. It wasn’t a hunting assignment gone wrong. No, what killed Killua Zoldyck… was poison.

He was supposed to be immune to it. That’s what Killua had always said. His family had eased him into a high tolerance. Slipping toxic substances into his food and drinks, injecting others into him directly. He once told Gon how he used to feel the side effects for days on end before they’d start to wear off. All to gain immunity against enemies who might want to rid the world of him. Who knew that the very enemies that the Zoldycks were trying to protect Killua from, were themselves?

Alluka’s letter explained that according to toxicology reports, the poisons had been slowly killing him from the inside out for years. His tolerance was high- that was was the only reason behind him living for so long. But he wasn’t immune. He’d been in pain, suffering in silence instead of telling Gon or Alluka how sick he was. No one noticed it until he’d finally started showing symptoms. By then it was too late.

The funeral was on Kukuroo Mountain so Gon couldn’t attend. He couldn’t see his best friend buried. Couldn’t say goodbye one last time. At first he was in denial. “It’s just a trick! Killua doesn’t want his family to find him to he and Alluka faked it! He’s fine!” Gon would text Killua’s phone, leave him messages and laughing about this prank and about how he fooled everyone, then yelling, then crying. A box came in the mail a week later- pictures, Killua’s clothes, his cell phone, his hunter license, some old chocolate robots. Gon called Killua’s phone more often, clinging to his sarcastic voicemail like a lifeline until the number was automatically disconnected a month later.

A few months after Killua’s funeral, Mito walked into the pet store on Whale Island to pick up some bird seed. Her surrogate son no longer fed the birds around their home. He no longer did anything now that Killua was dead. She tried desperately to make her boy smile and to bring him out of this coma-like state that he was in, but nothing worked and she felt that he had a right to mourn. So she decided to let him stay in his room while she attempted to make life as normal as possible for him.

The woman walked around the store with the seed in her hands, looking at the various animals. She was petting a few puppies when she heard mewling behind her. A smile graced her lips as she turned to face the litter of kittens behind her. Her breath halted when her gaze landed on the smallest- white fluffy fur and bright blue eyes. Blue eyes so bright that they reminded her of- She covered her mouth, her eyes burning.

“Oh my… hello there!” She hesitantly reached in and picked up the furry creature, smiling weakly as it pawed and mewled at her with those big blue eyes. “You… You look so much like my Killua!” She laughed, shaking her head. “I guess that’s silly to say. Comparing him to a kitten… I guess I’m just seeing things. But still…”

Mito remembered the day the letter came. She saw that it was from Alluka and immediately called Gon in. Oh, if she’d only known… She’d watched as Gon’s smile vanished, his face becoming ominously neutral. The way that his hands shook as he held onto the paper for dear life. How the color drained from his face and the light from his eyes. How he-

The kitten in Mito’s hands mewled again, snapping her out of her thoughts. Those blue eyes gazed at hers in concern, his fluffy head tilted to the side. He almost looked… sad. A look she’d seen in Killua’s eyes once when she’d asked him about his family. Those eyes….

Mito held the small creature close, closing her eyes. “Let’s go home, okay? I bet you’re just what he needs.”

The kitten tilted his head again before rubbing against her chest

“Gon! I’m home, sweetheart!” Mito called as she walked into the house, closing the door behind her. She glanced at the boy’s bedroom door and sighed quietly, shifting the kitten in her hands. She smiled and tried again, approaching the door and knocking. “I was at the pet store. I have something for you. It might help take your mind off…”

There was the sound of movement in the room before the door opened revealing a disheveled sixteen year old boy with dull brown eyes and skin pale from lack of sunlight. His blank eyes found his aunt’s before looking at the kitten’s. A look of pain flashed across his face as the creature mewled at him, pawing the air, before he hardened his expression again and looked at the woman in front of him.

“I don’t want it.” Gon said harshly, about to slam the door.

“But why not? You’ve always loved animals-” Mito attempted, just wanting to see that smile again. To see those eyes once again light up.

“Not anymore.” Gon snapped, glaring at the floor.

“Gon-” She pressed, stopping short when she saw Gon look sharply at her.

“If I couldn’t protect Killua,” That pain flashed again through his features again, “-then what makes you think that I can protect an animal? Take it back.”

“Gon Freecss, if you say one more word with that tone then I’ll make sure that you’ll regret it.” Mito scolded with a hard voice. The boy looked at her with wide eyes. She sighed deeply, “Now I have let you grieve long enough. I know that it’s hard but you aren’t the only one who’s lost someone special. I feel like I lost a son, and I miss him too. But you don’t see me acting like a brat and shutting myself away. So stop behaving like this. Do you hear me, Gon?”

“Yes, ma’am…” Gon mumbled, turning his hurt eyes to the floor again before slamming the door shut. Not seconds

Not seconds later Mito heard his muffled cries and it took all of her strength not to break down herself as she carried the kitten back into her room.

Weeks passed with Gon only letting himself be seen enough to keep Mito out of his hair. He wasn’t talking to her much after being scolded, but at least he was making himself seen so he figured she’d be content with that for now. She’d have to be.

In that time, the boy made a point to avoid the new addition to the household as well. He scowled at the kitten each and every time he saw it, making sure it knew he didn’t want it there. He kept his door closed so that the animal couldn’t get inside and went out of his way to make it an outsider- even when he would hear the tiny scratching on the door’s surface or the insistent mewling just outside.

He hated that animal. He hated it with every fiber of his being. How could Mito think he deserved any sort of gift after how he’d treated Killua, how he’d deserted him when his friend needed him most. Killua was alone and dying and Gon was nowhere to be found. Killua was dead because of Gon. Maybe if Gon had talked to him, maybe if he’d been there, Killua could have gotten better and would still be alive. Gon could have saved him and protected him.

Gon didn’t deserve a gift. He didn’t deserve a pet. He didn’t deserve more responsibility. He’d just fail again. That kitten would end up dying because of him too. Just like Kite. Just like Killua. So he hated it. He had to hate it, otherwise he’d get attached and it would hurt even worse when it was taken from him. Gon couldn’t lose something else precious to him. He knew that he wouldn’t be able to handle it next time. It wasn’t like he was even able to handle it now.

Gon’s door was never open. He kept it shut tightly as he remained locked away. Hidden from view. From the world. Until one day his door wasn’t closed, left open ajar with the sleeping teen inside on his bed.

And the kitten was all too eager to explore new territory. He saw Gon’s sleeping form almost immediately and scurried over to the bed. It was tall compared to the small creature, but he managed to use his claws to climb up onto the structure. Not wanting to wake the human, and feeling a little tired himself, he nestled onto his chest before drifting off into a slumber.

Gon awoke a few hours later, dazed in delirious. He didn’t understand why there was a light weight on his chest or why it felt so soft, still feeling the effects of unconsciousness. Once he blinked away the sleep and focused on the animal on his chest- he snapped.

“What are you doing in here? Get out!” Gon said, his face tensed in anger as he sat up quickly, knocking the kitten onto the bed. He mewled, tilting his head to the side and he cautiously crept back toward the furious human. Gon glared picking up the creature and throwing him onto the floor.

The kitten let a sound of distress and pain, backing away with his head lowered to the ground and his ears pinned back. And Gon regretted his action immediately.

“N-No! I’m sorry! I didn’t- I’m sorry!” The human was on the ground in an instant, scooping the terrified animal into this hands and hugging him close to his chest. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry, Killua. I’m-” His brown eyes widened and filled with tears before spilling over. “O-Oh, Killua! I-I miss you so much! A-And I’m sorry, kitty! I didn’t mean to! I just- I hurt you- I’m sorry!” The boy choked on a sob, squeezing his eyes shut and holding the hurt kitten closely.

The kitten pawed at the human, trying to get his attention, mewling softly. Gon pulled back, still sniffling. He looked at the kitten taking him in for the first time and felt his eyes widen. Those eyes...So bright and beautiful…

“...Killua?” He whispered in disbelief. The kitten mewled in response, pawing him again. Gon felt himself smiling for the first time since before his friend’s death, “Killua… You…. You found me again.” He laughed, tears falling- tears of joy this time. “Killua…. Killua….I’m so sorry! I’ll never ever hurt you again! I promise! We’ll never separate again!”

HxH Headcanons

Continuation of this post

-Kurapika is a pretty good cook, but can’t do anything overly complicated unless it’s a Kurta dish.

-Kurapika is terrified of Santa Claus, someone who breaks into your house and leaves a bunch of packages? Who does that?

-Leorio can sleep anywhere, anytime. On the couch? Yup. In the car? Ya. Standing up in the subway? You bet.

-Leorio will use his height to his advantage any time he can and Kurapika hates it…sometimes.

-Leorio loves picking Kurapika up bridal-style because it makes him feel so big and strong and he feels like he can protect his lil kboi no matter what like that.

-Kurapika won’t admit it, but he likes it too.

-Kurapika is an absolutely terrible driver and the two will race to the keys in the morning to see who gets to drive. Leorio usually wins, but the few times Kurapika did…they had to pay a lot of city fines.

-Kurapika and Killua will often have little chats, venting about their problems to one another because they know the other can handle it and Kurapika is a total mom and likes listening and trying to help him through rough patches.

-Killua called Kurapika mom by accident once and kinda never stopped, though he’ll never admit he truly loves him as a mom.

-Killua may have been the first to call Pika mom, but Alluka was the first to outright admit she prefers him to be their mother and asked his permission to call him such.

-Kurapika cried after that.

-Leorio also cried after Alluka called him Daddy-Leorio.

-These two love their precious children and god forbid you hurt one.

-Killua almost punched a man in the nose for bumping into Alluka and knocking her over, poor cinnamon roll had to keep her precious bother from killing him. Kurapika thought Killua was in the right.

-Gon liked to sneak Alluka little gifts here and there, he even got the rest to join in, just leaving little presents in her room or on the table where she’d find them.

-It’s now become a usual thing, leaving each other gifts around to house, printing out the name cards so they couldn’t tell who gave them it.

-Kurapika is the one to buy really expensive things, like designer clothing and jewelry or top-notch things.

-Kurapika’s first pet in his domestic life was a chicken named Lusko. Everyone hated it except him and it followed him around constantly. It was one of the few animals that Gon couldn’t really bond with. It died when a car ran it over after Leorio left the door open. Kurapika wouldn’t speak to him for about a month.

-Leorio’s choice pet was a dog, but was gifted with a tiny goldfish by Alluka when she won it at a carnival in his hometown. It’s miraculously survived to this day, mainly because Killua picked up the work of taking care of it because he noticed how much Alluka loved it. They named it Butterfly because she said his colors looked like a monarch.

-Gon wanted to get Kurapika another chicken and bought a huge egg, because the bigger the chicken the better, right?- it turned out to be a Luskobird egg and Kurapika covered it in heating blankets and watched over it day and night until it hatched.

-He named it Lusko Junior in memory of his chicken and the others were in utter shock to see it had grown to about Gon’s height within a month and then taller than Leorio within 3 months of it hatching. Kurapika explained that the Lusko Province was a very dangerous place with a lot of predators, so they need to grow fast or they’d get killed immediately.

-Kurapika rides Junior everywhere, even to do simple errands since Leorio won’t let him use the car anymore.

-Gon discovered one horrid day that Junior loved the color green after he tried eating his shorts right off him.

-Alluka once kissed Gon’s cheek after she found him hiding a present for her and Killua saw and was entirely too jealous. What about him? Wasn’t he her favorite brother?? Rude!

-Gon gave Killua a kiss on the cheek in return, earning a blushing mess that could only squeak out “oMG, Gon that’s gay!” to which he replied, “I know.”- causing poor kitten to pass out.

-Gon and Killua hold hands all the time. Whether it be walking down the street or just sitting on the couch, if a hand is free, they’ll hold it.

-Alluka will squeeze her way in and usually hold whoever’s hand isn’t occupied.

-Kurapika gets jealous super easily. He’s usually quiet about it because he trusts Leorio, but if he sees someone get a little too touchy or flirty and he is all over it. “The fuk you think u doin m8, I killed fiddy men. Bring it!”

-When visiting Leorio’s family, it was his mom who found out first about Alluka being trans and made her a bunch of dresses and skirts. The girls gave her a proper haircut and they did each other’s makeup all night and Killua was almost in tears, because my baby sister’s so precious and cute and omg why is she so precious, I loves her so much.

-Since Alluka is really shy around other kids her age and her and Killua haven’t really had any real kid experiences, Gon likes to take them around town every weekend and take them on “dates”.

-Kurapika can’t figure out phone apps for the life of him, he doesn’t bother downloading them, he just uses it to call, and forget texting, it took months to figure out what “lol” meant.

-Leorio has to steer Pika away from any farm or market because he knows they’ll be there for hours petting and playing with chickens otherwise.

-They got Alluka a kitten for her birthday and they named him fluffy despite him being a sphynx.

-He ate Butterfly and Leorio cried for hours.

-The cat follows Kurapika around constantly and he and Junior take naps together.

-Kurapika wakes up to naked cat on his face daily.

Hunter x Hunter Headcanon #1

Illumi and Killua were actually very close growing up. I picture Illumi telling Killua stories when he was little and letting him sleep in his bed whenever he’d have a nightmare. They actually got along quite well and Killua always looked up to his dear oldest brother.

I blame their mom for their relationship going south. Their dad and grandpa are for the most part pretty chill with Killua choosing his own life and I’d like to think that Illumi was sort of the same. He trained Killua to keep him safe, but that was really his only motivation for awhile. But Illumi’s a bit of a mama’s boy and when his mom was freaking out saying that Killua HAD to be an assassin and was letting his potential go to waste, Illumi took it upon himself to make him a skilled assassin.

I don’t think Killua ever actually resented Illumi for it. I think he was more frustrated with his mother and Milluki than Illumi. He understood that Illumi loved him and was his big brother and just doing his job. I don’t think he ever really started disliking Illumi until he showed up at the Hunter Exam and threatened to kill Gon. Again, this is just Illumi showing a twisted love and trying to protect Killua. I think Illumi genuinely felt he was doing Killua a favor. But it did a great deal of damage on Killua, since Gon was the first thing that was HIS. HE found Gon and HE made friends with him and HE wanted a life with that precious bean that was his best friend. And Illumi was trying to be a good big brother and protect him, even if that meant taking what’s most precious from him. I think that’s what started the downhill spiral of a relationship that is Illumi and Killua.

It only got worse from there. But I still think that Killua loved Illumi. Even after finding out about the needle. Because he knew in his mind that Illumi was just trying to protect him. That’s why he always refers to Illumi as “aniki.” He doesn’t really call him by name much at all. He usually calls Milluki by name, but not Illumi. Because I think in his mind, he has this attachment to Illumi. He still feels that he’s his “aniki,” his big bro, his protector.

But what’s really sad is that when Alluka comes into the picture and Killua and Illumi pretty much rage at each other, Killua stops calling him “aniki.” He literally only ever calls him Illumi to his face from that point on and you can tell that he is just so devastated and overwhelmed by the feeling of betrayal that he’s just like “No, no more. I can’t do this.” and cuts ties. And it’s just so heartbreaking to me because you know, you KNOW that they’re both hurt. You know that those words “you aren’t my brother” must have BROKEN Illumi, who spent his entire life protecting Killua. And you know that for Killua to finally cut Illumi out must have hurt him more than he could ever say.

I have this idea though. I think that one day, Illumi will find Killua and Alluka again. And they’ll have to face their messed up relationship. I think that they could possibly be close again. That Illumi will realize that Killua has his own life and is strong enough to protect himself. That Killua will understand that Illumi was only trying to protect him. That they’ll reach this understanding that Illumi won’t interfere but that he’ll always be there in case Killua decides that he needs him.
