Tonowari loves you like the ocean.

He could barely remember how he gained his first consciousness, awakening into the reality of his surroundings and of himself. He could barely remember his first memories of the land, how the grassy soil and the crumbly sand feels under the pads of his feet or how the air travels through his lungs as he breathes in and out. He could barely remember his first memories of the sea, how the water felt on his skin as it envelops his body or what the reefs looked like as a young child.

But he remembers you.

He remembers how he first met you, so very shy as you hid behind your parents’ legs. Your family and he knew each other personally. Your father is the Olo’eyktan’s right-hand hunter and warrior and your mother is the Tsahik’s friend and a teacher of the way of the water of the clan. He and your parents found it best to introduce both you and him to each other and to this day, he thanks Eywa and them for allowing him to meet you.

You covered yourself with your father’s large tail, letting it drip over your head and conceal your figure from the eyes that looked at you. Even so, it did not hide your big eyes as you peeked out ever so slightly and met his stare that looked at yours with wonder and curiosity.

Your mother laughed before kneeling down to coax you out of your hiding and his parents let out a chuckle, his own mother teasing him to be cute as you.

You refused your mother, with whimpers and big tears that welled up in your eyes. You shook your head to the side, away from your mother. Your father crouched as well and opened his arms to comfort your tiny sobs. Panic blew up inside him. Was he that scary? Was he that terrifying?

“I’m sorry,” he suddenly blurted out.

You raised your head to look at him with wide eyes and a sniffle, a pause from your cries. Now, the eyes were on him. Everyone was awaiting his response and he felt that there was a slight weight on his shoulders. Was this how you felt back then when everybody was looking at you? He pushed the pressure he felt on the back of his head and focused on you, you who was looking at him with wonder and curiosity.

“I’m sorry for scaring you,” he continued unhurriedly, not wanting to scare you. He gripped his hand into a fist and hid it behind his back. He gave you a soft smile. “You don’t have to force yourself to meet us.”

You blinked slowly at his words. You were quiet as you stared at him. It wasn’t until you broke the silence that cut off his racing thoughts and heartbeat.

“You’re not scary.” You murmured.

At that, Tonowari’s eyes widened. His fist slowly loosed and fell to his sides. Joy burst in his heart and before he could stop it, it travelled throughout his body. He broke into a smile and grinned so hard that his cheeks hurt. His tail swayed and his ears tilted back just slightly.

He might not remember everyone and everything else back then but he remembers you and that for him, is more than enough.

Then, time passed by you two. You both grew up together and memories of you increased. He once thought that he might really not remember who he is or what outside of you is with you filling his head constantly, leaving little room for others to spare, but he also thought he is fine with that.

You are emotional, he concludes one night as he lays down with Ronal in his arms under the night sky and in the inner forests of the island. You are easily overwhelmed by your emotions. You are easily driven by your feelings.

He closes his eyes as he remembers how you joyously celebrated every single little thing that happened. A pretty little shell that you found? You let out a squeal and swayed your head and tail from side to side. He thinks you’re much prettier.

A shoal of fishes that danced around you underwater? You smiled, enchanted by the view and beauty of Eywa before you. He thinks you’re much more enchanting.

Berries that you picked and ate as you two did nothing all day but spend it with each other? You grinned, happy from its sweet and delicious taste and shared it with him. He thinks you’re much sweeter.

He opens his eyes, almost grinning at the memories of you. You were not with him as of that moment, but he could almost feel your presence. You and he were by each other's side all the time and even though he was alone, he didn't completely think you were away from him. Not only that, but Ronal is by his side.

Ronal is a surprise. Like how he and your parents brought him and you together, you brought her with you two together. When you introduced him to her, there was instant recognition between him and her. He knew her from the stories you told him, how shy she is underneath her intimidating exterior, how sweet she is through her actions rather than words, and how happy she made you. And he had a feeling she knew of him too.

It was thanks to you that talking with her was no problem at all. You helped him know how to understand better, how to not overwhelm her at first so she would not be suspicious of his well-intents, how to talk to her without saying the wrong thing but not treating her as if she was fragile, and how to include her in the adventures you all had and making her feel like she belonged with you all.

It was thanks to you that getting close to her was no problem at all. You are mostly the subject of their conversation, how kind and so very sweet you are to both of them with the way you touch them so softly, how you heal them with your very presence that you being by their side is enough for the worries and stress to fade away from their classes, and how contagious your joy is that a simple smile from you is enough for them to smile as well.

It was thanks to you that they knew each other’s fondness and love for you.

From then on, their love for you blossomed into a love they have for each other as well. It was fast. Very fast that he is even surprised how he and Ronal manage to care for each other in just months. But he does not doubt. He does not doubt a love that is formed from yours.

“I wish [Name] was here.” Ronal suddenly murmurs against the skin of his chest.

“I know,” he places a soft kiss on her forehead. “I wish [Name] was here too.”

Tonowari wishes nothing more than to envelop you in his arms as well. To have you against the opposite side of Ronal and feel the breaths of your giggles against his chest. To have you touch him and twirl whatever you want on his skin. To have you kiss him and kiss you in return.

He wants nothing more than to outwardly express his affection for you. To do more than hugs under the name of friends. To see more of you. He wants nothing more than his emotions to roar out, its mighty waves loud and proud. Its endless water celebrates the freedom of passion that has been finally granted to him. Its animals and reefs dance in the festival of your name alongside his and Ronal’s own.

But he remembers you are emotional. If he told you how he feels, would you avoid him again? If he confesses his endless memories of you, would you turn away and hide from him? If his waves are finally free from the constrained cries of your love, would you be terrified and swim away in fear of drowning?

“Soon, we will tell them.” He is silent. Does he dare to risk it all?

“Soon,” Ronal rises from his embrace and looks at him pointedly. Under her gaze, he relents. He leads her head back to his shoulder and squeezes her hand thrice.

“Soon.” He repeats with finality. Despite his initial hesitation, his heart beats loudly. He closes his eyes and sees not the sullen waves of the sea. He sees not the darkness of the limitless ocean. He sees not the sombre emptiness of the water that suffocates him out of his breath.

That night, he sees the peaceful and serene waves of the sea. He sees a colourful and magnificent ocean. He sees the vibrance and full of life of the water that leaves him breathless of its beauty.

That night, he dreams of you.

Ronal loves you like the wind.

Ronal could remember her childhood crystal clear. She could remember the first child she made cry and the panic she felt, the want to console them but not even knowing how to in the first place. She could remember the first hiss and snarl thrown at her and the fear that gripped her heart, the sob that escaped from her chest until it left her a puddled mess. She could remember her parents' tears and silent fury for her and the sense of uselessness, the feeling of worthlessness that she could nothing about herself and for them.

She could remember the prayer she chanted each day and night to Eywa. With eyes shut tightly and lips bit, she prayed for someone who could see her for herself. Someone who could hear her inner thoughts and what she wants to say with just one look because she herself does not know what to say. Someone who could stay by her side and mind not how she looks but how she acts. Someone who could see her.

From her earnest prayers and the Great Mother’s grace, She gave her Roa.

Roa is a Tulkun, her spiritual sister. She could remember how she met her. It was during an unsuspecting day when she isolated herself in her family’s pod as usual. Suddenly, the horns blared and bells clanged. The calls of her clan were loud and boisterous in joy and excitement.

“They have returned! Our brothers and sisters are finally here!”

She was not unfamiliar with who they talking about. The Tulkuns. The spiritual brothers and sisters of their tribe. She had seen them multiple times before. Her mother and father proudly showed her off to their siblings and their family. Not only that but her mother told her stories of their history and how she and her siblings came to what they are now in the present. His father also told her of his sister, a mighty warrior of their clan and how she saved him from danger.

“Would you like to come with me or with your father?” Her mother knew she had yet to form a bond with a Tulkun so she brings her as she talks with her siblings or her father brings her with him to his sister. She refused, she didn’t want to see others with a friend, a spiritual bond, someone, by their side and be reminded of the fact that she had none.

Her mother did not pry and instead let out a hum as she looked at her with sadness and pity. She kissed her forehead and went out to them, leaving her alone once more. She was not unfamiliar with the empty and hollow feeling in her heart but she felt it sink deeper and its weight heavier than usual then.

Ronal let time pass by and the hours have then gone by. The moons have risen to their fullest and coated the sky dark and blue. The fire from the celebration of the tribe’s spiritual family’s return has become ashes. The winds slowed down and whispered and the waves returned to their dreamy sighs. Only the bioluminescent of Eywa’s grace continued to glow and light the island.

Normally, she would be asleep at this time. But that night, she was wide awake and energy that she hadn't felt in a long time coursed through her veins. She tried to ignore it, let the feeling bubble down and disappear. But the call was too strong, the sense of longing pulls her limbs to go outside and search. But search for what? She didn’t know.

So she did. Her Ilu was asleep in their pen and she would not wake it up for it would surely awake the others and alarm both of her parents. Without anyone by her side but the arms that guided her, hushed and murmured words that made no sense rang in her ear, she swam towards it.

She swam until she had forgotten the need to go back to the surface to breathe for oxygen. She swam until she had forgotten that she was so deep and far out into the sea. She swam and swam until she found the source of the call, which she later on realized was Eywa’s voice guiding her to her sister.

There, she found a Tulkun. She was large but compared to the others she had seen, she was small. The glow of the plants underwater shined brightly on her skin. She was alone but she did not seem lonely, as if she was waiting for someone.

It did not take a while until she took notice of her staring. She hummed in greeting.

I see you.

Ronal felt tears coming out. Such a simple greeting but she waited for a long time to hear that from someone other than her parent. She waited for a long time to have a friend. She remembered the prayers she begged Eywa each day and She gave her a sister.

I see you, she signed back.

Now countless years later, she swims in place in front of her sister named Roa. Their return was announced not too long ago and she immediately swam to look for her. She had barely signed a word of greeting to her sister before she teased her with a song and looked at her with a sparkle in her eyes.

You have found someone, sister.

Do I look that obvious? she signed slowly. She looked at her with wide eyes, bewilderment across her features.

You are much clearer than the surface water of the sea, she chuckled. In embarrassment, she pats her sister away with a frown.

Two actually, she signed with her head rigid as she stared her sister straight in the eyes and lips pressed in a hard, thin line. I found two.

Tonowari is an oaf, but he is strong and wise. [Name] is stubborn, but she is kind and full of love.

But you are not happy. There is something wrong. She observes correctly. Ronal looks at her with a sense of helplessness for nothing could escape her keen eyes and nodded.

I am happy. Tonowari has already accepted me. But [Name]…her fingers slowly stopped. She does not know yet.

Roa gently swims back to the surface, letting herself and her sister breathe for oxygen. Ronal breathes with a silent gasp and swims to her body to hug her fin. Her hair long hair serves as a blanket over her body as she rests on her.

“I am scared, sister,” she admits. “I am scared to know if she does not see me.”

But Tonowari sees you, does he not? What makes you say that [Name] does not? Roa hums as she swims languidly on the surface. Ronal is silent. To have one accept her as someone more than just friends, to have courted her, to see her, is already a miracle. She cannot believe one more. The scars in her heart tremble and she clenches her fist over it.

Do you see her? she asks.

“I do.” Without thinking about it and with no hesitation, she instantly replies. Seeing her is not just enough to describe her affection [Name]. It is like a wind that sings and calls your name over and over again. It rustles and sways, hoping to find your being in its arms to hold and touch you. It wails and cries without you for it loses direction without you to follow.

Then trust yourself, her voice vibrates and shakes her out of her hesitation and doubts, Trust what you see in her and let her see you.

Trust that Eywa has answered your prayers once more.

As Ronal and Roa continue to swim unhurriedly, she feels not the turbulent and raging wind that painfully hits her. She feels not the cold wind that harshly nips her exposed skin. She hears not the sobs and whines of the wind.

As she swims, she feels the gentle breeze that caresses her. She feels the freshness of the wind that kisses her face with enough warmth. She hears the soft murmurs and cheers of the calm air.

As she swims, she feels you.

After reading some twts about how the reveal should not affect the kaishin fandom bc of how old it is and how most old shippers had the suspicion of kaishin being related and proceeded to not care and accept and even ship them more leads me to the acceptance stage and the realization stage where this is all fiction and not true thus it will not affect anyone greatly and most of us should realize this too HAHAHA

I mean i had my suspicions too ya know but like i was expecting them to be distantly related not this closely related gahdang gosho JAGDHSHS also i was kinda closing my eyes when i saw how similar toichi and yuusaku looked like when i saw them so AHDGSHS lovelies lets just think that the reveal made the ship spicer that ever

Kaishin may be cousins and what? Its fiction, this ship is old, there are even more worse ships than this, will this hurt anyone? No (unless ur really in deep like delusional deep), will this change the world? No, will this affect your daily life? No, will this change your morals? For me no, cause i know they are not real, why on earth would they change my morals.

Honestly its not just kaishin, there are a lot of ships with this kind of relationship, and other shippers must realize the fact that they are not real and no one will get hurt. If you get disturbed by the fact that we ship cousins/twins/siblings then you may close your eyes and move one to the other post, im not like validating this bc in the real and current world this may seem disturbing but everyone must know the difference between real and fiction, do not do what fiction do but you may learn what fiction do, just put it at the back of your head as an additional knowledge and the possibility that some other people might mix up fiction and real life.

Like im not even focusing abt how kaishin is cousins anymore but at why toichi did that to his son, what is incest compared to betrayal (not rlly cause kaito still didnt know hes alive BUT STILL THATS HIS KID??? HIS CHILD IN THE EYES OF DANGER?? AND HE LET HIS CHILD DO THAT?? BOY?)?

Like i know he protects kaito at the side (it was on magic kaito 1412 i forgot what episode) but he protects kaito with kaito experiencing trauma bc how tf how dare u use my dead dads face you traitor like that like bro??

I dont even also think that chikage knew that her husband is alive, only yuusaku (like wow cute they mustve been such close siblings but thats not the point) knows that hes alive and yuusaku probs only also knows cause hes yuusaku and yuusaku knows everything in just once glance for some weird ass reason

My prompt is that (please know that some of the characters are ooc!!! Esp the parents cause they dont show much wth JAGDHSH also ill put in a oc for plot purposes WAHSGAHSGA)

Shinichi, still as conan, was in a pinch and was suddenly saved by a mysterious guy. Whom he thought was like akai san but he sensed someone different like.. KID? No.. dad??

Toichi who saw a kid who looked like his nephew when he was a child is being chased by men in black (who suspiciously looked like snake for some reason but snake doesnt wear shades in the dark cause thats a foolish move) decided to help him and lose the pursuers off his back

“Boya are you ok?” “…..(hmm? What is this feeling.. i feel like i’ve met him somewhere but..)” “boya?” “Ah! Un! Thank you uncle!”

Toichi suddenly thought of shinichi when he heard conans voice saying uncle, it sounds just like 10 yrs ago when he visited yuusakus house to teach yukiko the art of disguise

Toichi then took conan to his guardians when he found out that his parents was in america apparently (1) and he also found out that his guardians were the mouris (2) which was 2 points of suspicion which wasnt that bad but just weird cause why didnt his younger brother tell anything, not that that shit tells him anything at all. Adding to the fact that he has not seen his attention loving smart nephew in the news for a while now then pops out a child that looks like him makes the suspicion highly likely. (Their family kinda has a knack for attracting dangerous orgs, from what he seen to himself and his son, he just hopes his younger brother and nephew didnt get it (which was highly unlikely now too))

Consider his suspicions correct when his younger brother decides to okay dumb (he knows ok, theyre twins for a reason and hes a older brother for a reason) the problem now was which shady org was it and how much does his nephew and younger brother know….

2 weeks later he found out

Apparently he wasnt the only one suspicious of someone

His, (knew it), dear shrunken nephew was too! Bc of one comment from mouri kun (have we met somewhere before?) and his suspicions were proven right when he saw yuusakus phone lying around with his message on the notif screen

(Toichis so proud, thats my nephew, be nosy kid you will go far in life)(it made his nephew cute too 🥰)

and color him suprised when his nephew has a shady org at his back too (he was kinda hoping that his nephew only stumbled on the scene of the crime that was he was chased not being a victim himself sighs the family curse)

and toichi and his nephew (whom just found out they were related with the first kaitou kid, who was supposed to be dead) made an alliance! (it kinda feels good to not only have one person know about your secrets, it also makes him relieved that his nephew has a lot of trusted people at his back other than some bigass shady org)

it also makes toichi happy that his son could be himself (not just kaitou kid but really being kaito his son whom he left with his wife toprotecttonotpullintothismessbutthey-) with his cousin

his son was inlove with his cousin

oh shit

yuusaku why did we not let them meet again

how he found out? he got the front seat

with snake

but does that really matter

(is akai kun included when hes so far away from the build the confession was happening)

then it all went to shit (from his perspective cause wdym kaito did not even notice snake was there so its ok uncle shinichi kun did u also not notice my mental breakdown too)

they apprehended snake, and found out he was just some lackey in the black org and wanted to be the same lvl as gin so hes chasing after some immortality granting stone (yea hes not gonna be on the same lvl as gin hes stupid says his dear cutified nephew)

he told his younger brother about the confession

his younger brother knew all along ever since he caught kaito sneaking in their house to leave a jewel that he stole and saw him caress shinichis face.. yuusaku told him with the face of did u really not see that coming, we never let them meet when they were old enough to remember.

like valid? but at least share the tea gahdang

yukiko also knows? brother? i thought bros before hoes? (he nearly got mauled to death by his mystery loving younger brother, bc how dare you call my wife a hoe? ur the hoe u *spits real talk that hurts*)

after yuusaku hurt him internally he has come to the fact that yea he was worse than his son.. (also who can blame him, shinichi kun has yukikos genes (not that his darling wife is any less beautiful than yukiko, his wifes beauty came from being reckless and he likes that in his woman sighs i miss my wife) and their reckless genes so, with his wifes beautiful and shiny loving gene with his reckless loving gene, shinichi, conan, his nephew was the perfect person for his son. not ignoring the fact that shinichi kun is also a very understanding person. his nephew grew a lot (internally cause well.. he shrunk physically))

and now shinichi is looking at him weirdly

did he not hear his sons confession

it was not okay, how does his nephew not notice his sons confession to him? (his son was a child of two phantom thieves, making a heist even grander than it already is shows that his son is courting his nephew SO HOW TF- oh, oh yuusaku just told him that every heist shinichi went to was always that grand so he might not see the difference? oh. oh my gosh.)

how to break this to his son who thought his father was dead

yuusaku just smiled (useless asshole, just bc hes still close to his son even though his son is in another identity now and can still pretend to be his new sons identities father bc of the disguising art that toUICHI HIMSELF TAUGHT HIM)

shinichi kun said to wait till evrything was over, or wait till the black org is down cause he will help explain too cause he hid it too after knowing his undeadness (at least his nephew was helpful, might be yukikos gene)

"you know, ever since i met kaitou kid, i knew that i might need his help to bring this org down, but i never knew that it would be the first kaitou kid that will help me hehe"

his nephew is so cute (yep its yukikos genes, yuusaku could never be like that anymore, still regrets the day where he showed off to his younger brother his magician skills)

the org was brought down but the antidote for shinchis problem still hasnt been made but time is an essence they need to reveal the truth to his family now or it might get worse

family reunion time! :DDDDDDDDD

shinichi went to get his son and wife while he and his younger brother prepares his execution letter

then it all went to shit (pt 2) (shinichi kun can see it now too, toichi thinks even hakase next door can feel it)

his son did not walk out bc of shinichi kun ("kaito, listen to you father please, you know my situation, its kind of the same but in your fathers case, you are ran" "at least you were close to her!" "does it really matter when all she saw was conan not shinichi?" "but-!" "kaito, the woman i love is slipping before my eyes because i cant go to her like before now! everytime i go back to my body temporarily all i think about is how she will get hurt if the organization realizes i was one of the victims they failed to kill and will go after her and her family and friends! there are numerous people in the org who already knew about my real identity, they mightve been killed or decided to not tell about it but there is no saying they might decide to not do the opposite!"

My thoughts on episode 3 of PJO: (spoilers)

I so enjoyed doing this for the first two episodes and the response was great, so hey, maybe this will be an entire series thing

-The oracle was amazing. It was a perfect mix of creepy yet humorous with Percy’s perfect voice crack and “you’re a Halloween decoration” line. Having just reread the book, I wouldn’t have remembered that the prophecy came from Gabe so that was a really cool, book-accurate detail I enjoyed.

- The WAY PERCY CHOSE ANNABETH! I freaked out. Cause you know in the book Annabeth is just like “I’m coming” and that’s that. To see Percy go out of his way to CHOOSE her for his quest was so special to me and I loved it (even tho it was for a different reason than I originally thought.)

-Annabeth’s reaction to getting picked was perfect. This is a girl who has waited YEARS for a quest and in no way do I think she was expecting to be picked. Hoping, of course. But Leah’s expression of shock then excitement was perfect

- Grover talking to the horses

-Percy picking Grover

-“I’m going to back the best snacks” The snacks in question being tin cans

-Bro give Thalia a break Percy, wth 😭. He came at her so hard for someone he hasn’t even met. Which was hilarious and so Percy-like, but dang. I thought Annabeth was gonna kill him right then and there.

-“She met a Pinecone’s fate” Like this boy…🤭

-I loved watching Leah’s expressions the whole time the three of them were traveling to the bus terminal. I will never get over how subtle she is able to make her thoughts appear on her face. Like you could clearly tell she was taking everything in for the first time in 5 years, while still trying to remain calm and seem in control in front of the other two

-THE BICKERING OMGS. I wasn’t ready for the arguing, but it fits so well. It MADE SENSE. Like none of these kids know just how much they can trust each other and their all scared and they don’t really know what they are doing so of course they are going to fight and argue and take out their emotions on each other.

-Grover’s consensus song was perfect. I had no idea why he was clapping at first and when he started to sing I was scared because it had potential to be really cringy but I honestly think it fit his vibe and was cute.

-ok, so for the scene with Annabeth in the store, I loved of course cause it was my girl and I originally watched it as a kid with a lot of money placed in front of infinite candy and she couldn’t just pick ONE so she got them all and it was adorable. But I’ve also seen posts talking about her trying to read the wrapper and since she’s dyslexic she couldn’t tell what flavor was what so she got all of them, which would also make sense and is a perfect subtle detail. Now I just saw one post that said she was trying to pick the perfect candy to make Grover and Percy LIKE HER and that just about broke my heart. Feel free to comment or reboot with your opinions because I’ve loved seeing all these different takes on that scene. All I know is it was awesome and the contrast between a girl picking candy and immediately sensing something is wrong and putting up her guard was a perfect way of showing how life is for demigods

-The invisibility cap!!!!

-“We’re lost in the woods, somewhere in New Jersey and we’re never gonna make to LA” was all I could think about

Can you imagine everyone in the suitcase getting together to prepare the Foundation Kids’ first Christmas 🥹🥹🥹

The gift exchanging and the cuteness would be the most wholesome thing! Little Santa hats for all! Honestly this became a long list of HCs and not all of them are related to Christmas. It'll be Crew member and Vertin interactions because it'd be a lot to do it both ways for every single character. My ears are open for anyone who wants to share their HCs!

Regulus (actually Apple) gives a Vertin a set of high quality paint brushes. She also gives her also a weird rotund plushy with this face

This is the real one Regulus picked but she and Apple work as a pair. She says it's face reminded her of Vertin. Vertin will keep this new friend among her growing collection of oddities from her crew members. She keeps everything they give her, even if it's just a pretty marble.

Joshua gives her a DIY woodworking book and then brings up his bookshelf being broken (hidden agenda!) At first the others are like "wth?" but Vertin seems to love it. You know the little game pieces we see throughout the game to represent the characters? Vertin makes something similar with her new skill and they use them when developing strategies. Jessica and Sonetto like to help her paint them. Druvis gives her tips (since she's a wandmaker she has more experience). Also, Vertin does fix his shelf eventually and made a few adjustments so it won't break again.

I see Vertin as the type who can figure out those God awful assembly instructions with 70 different letters and numbers labeling everything. For tech stuff, Regulus and Joshua have them covered. They try not to ask X if they can help it because despite being a genuis he always adds an unnecessary feature. No I don't need my camera have a "brew coffee" function!

None of the "fix-it" people above can put together a proper meal though.

Madam Z is invited but couldn't make it (Constantine at it again). She sends Vertin a very elegant coat with a water proof enchantment to keep her both warm and dry. She she noticed Vertin's grown a bit taller and she'll most likely need a new coat.

Tooth Fairy also couldn't make it (helping Madam Z so she can get leave the office sooner and they can celebrate with wine). She sends Vertin a jar of candies and a finely crafted pocket knife. Why a pocket knife? No one knows for sure. Despite no one getting it at first, whenever they have a package they can't open, a freshly picked fruit from the garden, etc. they ask Vertin if she has her knife. Of course she does. She's Suitcase Dad lol. Tooth Fairy was predicting the future.

Sotheby will give her candies that are actually healing potions! It's one of her newest creations! They're more convenient than carrying potion bottles. There are a few...side effects but nothing too major. Vertin is extremely grateful for this and carries a few in her pocket at all times in case someone gets hurt. This usually ends up being herself (in combat) or Sotheby tripping and scraping her knees, palm, etc. She'll hesitate to take the candy herself (because what if someone else needs it later?), even when she's barely standing but heaven forbid one of her people gets a boo-boo or a bruise. It's frustrating as it is endearing.

Sonetto gives her a tin of her favorite brand of tea and a thermal blanket. Vertin's the type of person with a cooler body temperature. In winter, her hands are freezing! This worries Pupnetto even though the Foundation trains them to endure cold temperatures. However, most of the other members end up snuggling in the heated blanket, including Sonetto herself (she is slowly unlearning the Foundation's way of suffering pointlessly) but she will share it with Vertin when she does. Vertin doesn’t mind. Honestly, Sonetto is hot blooded (the opposite of her) so having her nearby makes it warmer anyway.

And Sonetto's always at her side. She doesn't worry about the cold.

Druvis gives Vertin a wand with her arcanum built into it. It's shaped like a pistol, similar to Schneider's but it's nonlethal. The "bullets" are infused with the slime from Druvis's thorns and can hinder enemy movements (inflict petrify status). This way she can "protect" Vertin even if they're apart. With more eyes on the Suitcase than ever, she believes Vertin needs to take extra precautions. Vertin takes very good care of the gun (though she's never had to use it in real combat yet) and when they do co-op missions with other departments it garners a lot of attention from the soldiers.

Druvis is not accepting requests at this time.

Blonney gives her an ugly Christmas sweater but her gag gift backfires when Vertin looks cute. Stupid yes, but cute. Also the fabric is very soft and Vertin seems very cozy inside.

Later, Blonney gives her the real gift. She was too shy to give it to her in front of the others but there's a hand written card thanking her everything she's done for her and Jessica. There's money in the card of course. Jen also gives her a little short story she wrote. Not a horror one, but a sweet one about a curious kitten going on misadventures and making friends. Vertin can immediately tell its based on the shenanigans she gets into with her crew members. Blonney doesn't stick around long (blushing too hard) but Vertin is moved by this. The crew members are represented by their Udimos!

Jessica gives Vertin a doll (think chibi) she made that looks like the Timekeeper and it has removable accessories. For Christmas, the chibi Vertin is wearing a Santa suit. Sometimes the doll goes missing from her shelf if she's gone for more than a day (work relates reasons). 98% of the time it's with Sonetto who crumbles like a guilty puppy if Vertin asks about its whereabouts. The separation anxiety is real. Vertin recognizes this and eventually says it looks happier in Sonetto's room. She asks Sonetto to please take good care of her (the doll). Vertin also makes more effort to "call" home or send a message with arcanum tech after this event.

She's not used to having people wait for her at home, but one day in the near future she will be.

yk when I started reading toa I was kinda disappointed at the lack of power that apollo / lester had, bc pjo and hoo had their main characters be basically op, and this is literally a (former) god. apollo in tho made me cringe and reading his perspective was like looking at pills in an orange prescription bottle. but he was the whiny teenager that felt like an out-of-depth teenager more than the actually lived for years-in-teen-numbers, because they were more heroes and soldiers than teens, like they were supposed to be. he is simultaneously whiny child and responsible adult.

the moment I really latched onto him was when he basically dropped everything and tried to dive into the forest to go save his kids. bro wasn’t actually a selfish idiot like he kept making himself look like. bro was an emotionally constipated loving loser (affectionate) and loveable. he would risk the wrath of styx to save these kids. positively skrunkly

oh and his power! look guys the former protagonists always had some power to back them up, some good strength. this guy? first not demigod protagonist and he goes from straight up zero to launching a guy to the clouds with his bare hands. and tfw he uses his voiceTM. BEGONE SNAKE! and he acts so pathetic lol and if you look through whatever sunglasses he’s wearing and you look at the things from 3rd person pov dude what is he doing. he just flew off a road driving a car, and puts himself in front of the gremlin child to face one of those creepy zombie things that scream FOOD!!. bro straight up stabbed himself. bro sings the most heart wrenching song that even giant ants that don’t even understand what he’s saying get the point to the extent that they go catatonic with depression.

and holy cheez-its what kind of pain tolerance does this guy have?? dude??? you fell from the literal sky above the Empire State Building which like literal greek heaven (ouch) straight into a dumpster and then gets beat into unconsciousness by a pair of thugs under Nero like??? and with broken ribs, injured nose, hurt shoulder, etc. he walks up the stairs, runs through the woods insane. dude is literally insane. he gets flayed alive, forgets his other half, trapped in place by molten chains all at once and still trying trying to walk wth like this guy’s pain tolerance is beyond ouranos. idk how he does it I can’t even tolerate a hot summer day.

bro gives advice to a lost gremlin child who betrayed him anyway, helps her defeat her abuser the way he never could. and he grew, like everyone around him, to something better, something hopeful. “you’ve changed” heck yeah!! we love to see it

and humor?? like random mentions of things no one else in pjo would give you like playing the zither at 2am, godly toilet seat, ares roundhouse kick, waking up in Argentina. I love that they’re so offhand but they’re so funny and random

Reyna’s whole journey of “finding the one who will heal her heart”. (gods I loved that thank you rick.) and will’s “dad!” and making apollo literally weep and meg: “the beast is dead. I killed it.” and taps her head and I'm just so proud of them.

“YOU ARE NO GOD!” he isn’t the same god who fell to earth in the winter. he likely won’t be ever the same ever again. ‘cause he’s gonna work to being better. he’s saving the world, but he’s also having a journey of his own self, rediscovering himself, building onto himself like everyone else, they’re all gonna be a better version of themselves.

Wow.. this episode was A LOT.

first of all, my question about how the group reacted to tanfang dating was answered. but i could swear that they knew bc tanfang were acting like a couple, and ALSO someone asked tan "so the person you were serious about was fang? " he didn't said it at the festival episode? it's because his friends are stupid or a plot hole, i guess we'll never know

the rest is me yapping about the episode 💁‍♀️

my favorite thing in this show is still their friendship; the talk between peem and q was so emotional to me and so deep and important, and the boys comforting toey, they're good friends... i love to see it, a group of friends who are FRIENDS

as far as i know, kluen just appears when phumpeem is already dating, but i think they changed that, to make phum feel more jealous and make a move faster, because i think there is still family drama to follow, speaking of family, fang mentioned their father is coming back in the first episode and he didn't appear until now, plot hole again? however, fang doesn't live with phum, perhaps he lives in the family house, and the father might be there, but that father was never mentioned again

coming back to my favorite boys, phumpeem you both want to kiss so bad it's embarrassing for you, like what was all that at your aunt's coffee shop 🤨

Safe with me (SAGAU Scaramouche x reader) Note: Guess whose birthday is it(Oct 16)? Yes it’s mine and Xinyan!! My school might start face-to-face classes in November and honestly I am not feeling it. I wanna run away. Also, this is bordering platonic because Scaramouche is my baby like I heard his backstory and I went ‘screw this I’m adopting him’ PS. This fanfic looks better in my head. I wrote it and told myself...'wth did I just wrote' Warnings: injuries (non graphic), violence (non-graphic), OOC (you’ll see why) Masterlist

Scaramouche let out a harsh command as his robot marched forward through the rainforests. Supposed he already gave up on everything and just started living his life a few months ago but the so-called heroes of this world just made him lose it. ‘I’m losing my mind’, Scaramouche thought. He never once thought that he will be working together with someone and that someone being the mighty traveler themself. Who would have thought that one fateful meeting would lead to this?

Scaramouche staggered as he struggled to find a shelter from the coming rain. He is used to just resting wherever possible but he might not be able to fend himself right now if he becomes careless. Dottore has set him up for failure and he was basically using him as a scientific experiment. In this world, in order to get a material , one should pay a price or work hard for it and he knows that it will happen. His body felt like it was being torn and being made each and every day and at the end Dottore, much like his creator, threw him away after deeming his work insufficient.

He cursed mentally as a group of fungi spotted him. He readied himself, ignoring the pain that bloomed when he drew his weapon. ‘I trained myself too hard’, he gritted his teeth. ‘I’m not gonna be defeated by mere plants’. One, two, three, four down. Scaramouche thought it was over until a hard push knocked him off his feet and into the ground. It would be nice if he just fell in the group, he can just easily get up but he was falling in the darkness. It was the same darkness when he was first betrayed, the only difference is that the thunder is not calling his name.

Behind his giant mech, few people who named themselves as friends of the traveller are marching for the same cause: freeing their creator. He remembered the first time they both had a deep talk. They argue that they are not the creator and they are simply just like the traveller minus the flairs for battle. That one day they just woke up to a whole different world and the aranaras claimed them to be a god. Back then, Scaramouche wanted to hate them for allowing his creation but he remembered the old books inside Tenshukaku.

It was a story of an ancient absent god whose name was forgotten by its people. They weren’t the original creator of the world but they are the god who nurtured and taught the people of kindness and knowledge of how to live. It was the story of an ancient absent god who was akin to the anemo archon: let the people have their freedom and will only interfere if the problem is really severe. It was a story of a god who everyone thought was dead but they have been missing for thousands and thousands of years.

“You need to eat”, they said as they placed a bowl of freshly cooked food in front of him. It has been weeks since he has fallen down the Varuna contraption and is now adjusting to his new life together with talking vegetables. He eyed the food before turning away, opting to watch the aranara who was walking by. “I’m no human. I don’t need to eat.” It turned out that he was found by one of the arenas after he fell down the contraption and even though his identity is not known, they did not leave him alone. You sat across from him and turned to your own bowl. “Albedo is not human too but he makes good food and he really loves sweets”.

Ever since he was found by the cute creatures, you have been taking care of him and won’t stop pestering him. “What if I’m evil and are actually out to kill you?” he muttered quietly but it did not miss your ear. “And then the aranaras won’t have found you.” You pushed the bowl closer to his form with a warm smile that never once left your lips. Guess he won’t really be able to push you away, huh? He picked up the utensil and took a small portion and the flavour immediately spread in his mouth. ‘I can get used to this.’

The city was abnormally quiet, there were no people in sight, which is weird because the researchers of the Akademiya never sleep. The chirping from the birds are louder now and they sound even more haunting now that there’s no people around. Scaramouche unmounts the robot with the traveller and their companion right behind him. “Doesn’t this silence remind you of something, traveller?” the small fairy in the group stated. “It’s like that time Dottore took control of everyone.”

Scaramouche excitedly walked home carrying large bags of fruits and spices. While he is still a criminal, a few people around Sumeru have warmed up to him and they have not been trading plants every few weeks. This week he has meat that came from the ruler from the desert and spices from Gandharva ville. Maybe tonight they could try that curry recipe that the traveller gave them or maybe they could try some recipes from another nation. Scaramouche found himself as not a picky eater but he is biassed towards food that is rich in flavour like Chicken Tofu pudding.

Instead of the aranara singing, he was greeted by the Varanara outside the dreams. Immediately worry started blooming in his chest, hands shaking, struggling to keep the large bags up. He fears he got abandoned again but it is impossible because they never once pulled away even though he showed bad behaviour. “Scara! You’re here!” Paimon screeched out. He is still getting used to their presence being friendly towards him but Paimon’s voice is something that for sure will take longer time.

“What is happening?” he collected himself, looking at the tiny fairy who was flailing her equally tiny arms frantically. She rubbed her head in confusion (or was it being unable to word out what just happened?), ready to spat out everything in a scrambled pot of words but she was saved by the traveller who is brandishing a bloodied sword with them.

“Our enemies took them.”

Their group climbed the stairs towards the akademiya and they were greeted by mind controlled citizens. “The two of you go up!”Cyno shouted. “Alhaitham and I can handle them!” The traveller gave them a nod as they ran further up. Scaramouche swears that if they touch a single hair on their head, he will go berserk. The moment Dottore let go of him months ago, a new project has started: breaking the original god to gain control of the whole Teyvat and that is one project that he will prevent with his both hands if it ever happens.

“I know you were going to come”, Dottore and his masked self emerged from the door. It is just them, Dottore, and the traveller now. Scaramouche drew his weapon, ready to fight his former colleague anytime now. “Let them go”, he warned. Dottore only smiled at the two of them. “What for? If you don’t know it yet, you’re the one that leads them to us. Tsaritsa would be so proud of you.”

Cyno and Alhaitham joined their ranks and soon a few fatui joined Dottore as well. “If you want your god back and then you might as well have a duel with me.” Mentally, Scaramouche sighed. ‘What are you going to do? Slap me with a textbook?’

“You know the sky is not real right?” Scaramouche found them sitting on top of the giant leaves. You only smiled at him, putting a finger on your lips and then looking at the sleeping Aranara on your lap. Time passes weirdly inside Varanara given that it is located inside a dream and a day inside there might just be an hour outside. Scaramouche will not admit it but if a world locked between a dream and a frozen time could give him love that he didn’t get and then he will gladly stay inside forever.

“Many moons ago, the sky was so dark that people were scared to even look at the night sky”, you started. Scaramouche took the space on your side, resting his head on the giant leaf as he stared at the sky. “Some people, due to fear, even said that the sky is cursed and it beckons evil if you stare long enough on it.” You gently put the sleeping Aranara down next to him. “While everything outside this dreamworld is fake, it is still good to find something that is worth living for right?”

Bodies after bodies fall but the numbers don't go down. The more people they fight, the more comes up. The group is not fighting the controlled people using their weapons but they instead just hit the best points to render them unconscious. They can’t really kill anyone so the best option they can do is to dodge their weapons. It’s strange how Dottore was able to control everyone just by using the Akasha terminal but then again the people of Sumeru had it coming.

“Scaramouche behind you!”

Scaramouche turned around to see Dottore running to him in full speed with sword on hand but before he could even get close, a giant dome of dendro enveloped him, taking him away from everyone. “I can lead you to them but you need to grab them fast”, he recognized the voice as the Dendro Archon herself.

“Why should I trust you?” he asked. He doesn’t have trust in anyone, especially archons. The dendro archon could be trapping him right now as they talk and he can’t help but raise his weapon. “I may not be as powerful as the other archons but I will never let my voice let someone astray.” In a flash he found himself deep within the Akademiya’s library and before he knew it, Scaramouche was running.

Way before the three moons hang in the sky, the world is enveloped in darkness. Humans prosper within daylight but whenever the sun goes down fear and terror also prospers. Alarmed, a young god of kindness and humility from above the sky asked the highest for their favour: they asked for the stars and the moons. Soon, the night is loved like people do when the sun is out but the young god knows the rule of the world. IF you want something, you have to pay the price. The bigger the demand, the bigger exchange.

Soon, the young god is now walking alongside mortals. They taught everyone how to be safe at night, how to take care of everyone, and most of all how to be kind. But nothing in this world stays the same. People rose to power, so did the newer gods. With Violence and bloodshed and teachings of kindness all forgotten, the young god then vanished.

He didn’t waste any time to take them out of the structure that they are currently sleeping in. “I’m going to take you and everyone away from here. I will handle my people.” He heard the dendro archon once again speak before they got transported near Varanara. Maybe Varanara needs to be locked in the dream longer to keep everyone safe.

Maybe its a bit OOC so i apologize in advance!

also english isnt my first language so be prepared for the mistakes youll find...

Genre: FLUFFFF and a bit of chaos. but mostly fluff :))

So imagine this. Reader and Kaveh went groceries shopping because they wanted to bake cute heart shaped cookies. Both Kaveh and his girlfriend liked the idea and decided to do it. nothing could go wrong....right?

"ok so we got the flour...the chocolate and...", reader says while looking at the grocery list. She double checked everything and was convinced they had bought everything they needed. "im sure we got everything!" he says with a smile and walked towards the cashier, she followed. as soon as they paid they went to Kavehs place. They talked on the way and shared a lot of laughter together.

"finally were here!", Reader says as she places the ingriedents on the table and soon enought they started to bake together. Everything went smootly with the reader doing it and kaveh helping her get the eggs and so on. Soon they realized the forgot to buy the vanilla extrakt so Reader says "im going to head iver to the super market real quick! dont do anything to the batter without me ok?" she gives hima quick peck on his lips and cheek and heads out. No matter how long Kaveh he is with her, he always ands up getting flustered about the little things. He smiles to himself notnoticing Al Haitham entering the house. Al haitham shoots him a "youre weird" look and decides to sit somewhere near the kitchen to pester him. "Ugh what do you want???" kaveh says a bit annoyed by Al haithams presence. "oh can i not sit here on MY chair kaveh?" , he scoffs but then returns his attention to his book. Kaveh then decided to continue the recipe without you...wich ended up into a very big mess....the batter was well way to dry and there was flour and burned chocolate and eggshells EVERYWHERE. Needless to say when you came there you were sligtly.....very sligthly enraged. "Kaveh....", she says in a low and scary voice. Kaveh knew he was FUCKED.

After you were done arguing wth him he had to clean the kitchen all alone and buy you some cookies and give you cuddles as compensation.

-Kazuha-

Kazuha and you got to meet again after he was away for so long, so you had the idea to bake a cake with him. You guys already had everything at home. Everything went smoothly~

"Kazu how man gramms of sugar do we need?", you say ready to take the measurment. "we need 100 gramms love.",he says in a calm tone. You measure it perfectlx and hand it to him. he gratefully takes the bowl containing the sugar and garcefully gives you a kiss. You were stunned for a second but snapped back to reality. He chuckles as he observes your reaction and finishes the batter rather quickly. "want to taste the batter love?" he says as he swoops some batter on his finger and tastes it. He smiles delighted by the taste and also gave some for her to try. You smile at the taste of it and let out a satisfied humm. "Its delicous Kazu! Youre a great baker!", Kazuha smiles at the compliment and gives her a kiss on the forehead. "lets put this in the oven shall we?", he says while smiling lovingly at her, for a moment you were lost in his eyes but nodded.

After some time Kazuha and you decorated the cake with icing and some cute sprinkles. Once it was finished your cake looked like this.

You guys were very much happy with the result and had some nice tea with the cake while you talked about your future goals. Little did you know Kazuha was staring at you so tenderly and lovingly while you were busy talking.

Warriors is citing his time as captain or wtv and that he’s reliable and protective (rebuttal would probably be about how he can’t retire from that job for a long time and it’s very taxing)

Legend has a ton of protective gear and he’s just really cute (rebuttal would be abt his hoarder tendencies)

Sky is one of the firsts so of course his child should be first but also he’s well educated kinda, good with kids, has a tight knit community, and has a super cool bird the kids could ride (rebuttal, he’s in the fucking sky. What if the kid just jumped off)

Twilight has a ranch and a horse. Good with animals, works at home kinda, can become a fluffy dog (rebuttal me personally I’m mildly allergic to dogs, and also ranches take up a lot of time. As a country person I know, I know it all too well)

Wild has long hair the kids could braid. Has horses, can cook a good meal, doesn’t get tired of cooking, has a thing he can take pictures on, well travelled. (Rebuttal he does some stupid ass shit bro, and also he isn’t always considering what his actions do. What if he does something stupid and gets seriously injured and the kids and reader are like fending for themselves for a bit)

Time. He’s responsible, a good leader, the oldest, has cool markings. (Rebuttal. What the fuck happened with the moon. Also FD mask, what if the kids got their hands on this super dangerous mask that has a god inside of it. Assuming that FD isn’t unleashed alr)

Hyrule. HES SUCH A CUTIE OMG. He’s half fairy, good with kids, soft, inviting, can literally heal (rebuttal, the blood curse. What if the kids inherit it cause like genetics and stuff)

Four. Works at home kinda, he’s also a cutie. Could make little toys, is good under pressure, is around their height, good playmate (rebuttal. If the smithing area is inside the house easy access to burns. Also the four sword is a thing)

Sage. Has nice hair as well. Protective, has two houses technically, can fuse things together, can make cool little things to ride around on with reader and children (rebuttal. He can make literal torture machines, and he’s a little unhinged. Also Wth is up with his world. That place is not safe at all)

Fierce Diety. A literal god. (Rebuttal. A literal god. Does godliness get passed down, idk but he’s also like really tall and that’d hurt a lot. Like procreation and having fucking this dude who’s built like an actual monster’s kids pop outta yah)

I don’t have a good read and cal but pretty much the same stuff abt Sage and wild. Just a different font.

I also love how a point in all of this is whether or not their hair is good. That's an incredibly important point.

Wars I love because his job would take a lot of his time. But because of said job, mans is loaded. So money is another good stand point for him. (Rebuttal: He had a literal time and space wizard-ess after him??? imagine her going after your kid man-)

Legend is someone who has seen everything. So he is so smooth and steady, nothing really phases him anymore. Including anything your kid brings to the table. (Rebuttal: He's an asshole. I guarantee any of his spawn are also assholes)

Sky is literally hug shaped. He would be the cuddliest dad and so affectionate <3 (Rebuttal: I deadass almost couldn't come up with anything- mans is such a helicopter parent. His kid couldn't even breath without him being there)

Twilight is also so dad shaped. Like, look at him. As someone who also lives in the countryside, I know he's the dad to hold his kid close, watching the sunset as he explains some far off tale. (Rebuttal: Is the 'Just rub dirt in it' dad.)

Wild. His horses are a great point. But, he also has so much energy? He can take all the night shifts with no problem. Can make meals filled with both vitamins for post-partum and energy boosting effects that taste Amazing. (Rebuttal: He has ghosts. Just following him. Like??? Those can't be good babysitters???)

Time. He's so calm and patient. So anytime the baby gets to be too much for Reader, he's easily stepping in and swooping them up, settling them within seconds. (Rebuttal: Fought the fucking moon- Also, has farts that are comparable to an actual try on your life. Idk what this man eats, but someone has got to find what crawled up his butt and died)

Hyrule. Loml. I love him. Gibe him smooch- He has babysitters out the freaking door. His sisters absolutely adore you and your baby and bring the best presents. (Rebuttal: Yeah that blood thing is pretty bad, but he also is the worst at saying no to your kid. That kid will be so spoiled and you'll be forced to be the stricter parent)

Four. He's also got babysitters. That are him! Win-win! Can handle multiple things at once and should the colors be needed, he's got that male relative that I'm still uncertain about! (Rebuttal: Talks to your kid like their both men in their fifties sitting in a bar, catching up after years lmao)

Sage! Great hair. Also cool arm. Has two houses, but that asshole princess took one, bitch. BUT he also has horses :D AND DonDons. We love those guys. Can also cook and he's the dad to walk around shirtless with the kid on his chest, napping, while he does one thing or another. He is also rich because he cheats the system--I.E. the universe. (Rebuttal: Yo wtf is UP with those hands in the ground?! And the TREES?! Nothing is safe. Also, the sages? Not great babysitters. Especially his giant robot. That one is not the worst however. That's Sidon's title.)

Fierce Deity. He can reach the top shelf. He's got a cool sword. He's got a nice face, would like to sit on it. He also is super old and probably super wise. Probably. (Rebuttal: LDNFNG I LOVE YOURS SM I- YEAH, TEARING FROM THE V TO THE A JUST BIRTHING HIS FUCKING KID)

For Cal, may I offer-

Calamity. Strong knight and used to following the orders of those above him, especially his Goddess and his child. He would go to the ends of the heavens and hells should it be what they wish (Rebuttal; Mans has the emotional capacity of a fucking Rock. Also, he eats rocks. Imagine your kid just eating rocks because their dad did. Return them both/hj)

So obviously, with all these options, pros and cons, there is only one real option.
