Actually, a lot of the anger issues I had as a child was because I was an undiagnosed (my parents knew but didn't do shit about it and never told me, so I could do shit about it) neurodivergent kid constantly in an environment that was hostile to me, and that no adults in my life were doing the bare minimum to help me cope.

If I were in the same situation I had to spend my childhood in, I'd still be having frequent meltdowns.

Nah I’m not over the fact that Leo had apparently spent years with his bedroom being hit with the worst of Splinter’s horrendously loud snoring and Leo just never mentions it once.

C'elen in bg3 story is a daughter of country side ex-noble family. so she's been pretty sheltered and taught how to be a lady. but when her parents went bankrupt, her father offed himself and her mother died of depression, she was left to fend for herself and lived alone for a while, learning how to use the axe to protect herself from wild animals or monsters. She lived beside a river and pretty much a tiny simple home, it was the only home left from her parent's riches.
