The old warehouse that your team had raided the past month came into view. Javi drove along the dirt road and hummed to a tune on the radio.

The closest you were ever going to get to driving with a boyfriend and singing songs in the car. Right?

The car pulling up and the slams of the car doors should have been enough to run anyone out of that building. It was swept by security every night and made sure it was abandoned.

“What do you think your going to find in here?” Javier asked, pulling up the do not enter tape around the entrance. You shrugged. “I dunno. It just feels wrong.”

The empty building echoed from your heels. You and Javi walked around the first floor.

“This is just a big empty box of concrete,” he sighed, walking over to a pile of scrap wood and kicking it ever so slightly. The sound from that bounced off the walls, startling a few stray birds.

This sudden noise scared you. You turned around to reach for your gun and tripped on your heels. Javi saw this and reached out his arms, catching you in his embrace. You were breathing heavy as he held you in his arms.

“Just some birds, mi amor.” he chuckled, helping you re gain your balance.

Following him upstairs, you couldn’t get his strong grip on you off your mind.

Upstairs was more complicated. There were still abandoned work benches and offices that weren’t swept out in the demolition. Any homeless person or one of Escobar’s men could have snuck in easily and stayed here for a while. You were sure the guards didn’t check every single office, as there were too many.

You searched the various papers left on the benches and ground, nothing interesting stood out to you.

“Are you gonna help?” you asked Javi, bent down going through a stack of files about grain sale statistics in Spanish. “Shh,” Javi said, silencing your hands filing through papers. You hadn’t noticed how quiet he got and how far ahead of you he was.

“What’s the matter?” you asked, standing up into full view and shrugging your hands.

The door to one of the offices swung open. A man was talking very loudly into a phone in one hand, a gun in the other.

You turned to grab for your gun. He was standing mostly in your view, and saw you first. He mumbled something in Spanish and didn’t hesitate to aim at you. He shot his gun as you recognized what was happening. You moved fast enough for him to shoot your shoulder.

Javier panicked at how quickly the scene happened. Without a second thought, he aimed his gun at the man and shot him in the chest a few times.

“Y/N!” he yelled, rushing around the tables to find you. He found you flat on your back, eyes wide open in shock. “Shit, shit.” he whispered, falling to the ground and taking off his suit jacket to wrap around your shoulder.

“We’re going to need to walk, can you walk?” he asked. You stared up at him in unimaginable shock, unable to answer. “Y/N! Shit. Have you ever been shot before?” he asked, his right hand moving for his walkie talkie strapped to his belt. “A-28 we need medical at 748 Carerra 48,” he said urgently, repeating the message into the box until he got a dispatch response.

You were bleeding and you were bleeding a lot. Your breathes became choppy as Javier held you in his arms. He kept wondering if he shot an artery or not. “Stay with me, please.” he whimpered, moving your hair out of your face. He had accidentally wiped blood on your face. He looked at his hands, and then his shirt. All were deeply painted with crimson. “Please, no, please don’t do this.” he pleaded, holding your body close to his.

“Javi…” you whispered in his ear. “Everything is going to be okay.” he assured you. Shouting came from downstairs.

“Up here!” Javier yelled. Paramedics filed into the office space and spotted you two quickly. He helped them lift your body onto a stretcher. Your wide eyes stayed locked on him. “I-I have to go.” he said to you, holding your hand and following you down the stairs. “No,” you muttered, tightening your grip on him. The shallowness of your voice tore him apart.

The caution tape had been cut by the paramedics. When he reached outside, the majority of your squadron was out watching the scene unfold. The ambulance was small, big enough only to fit you and some paramedics. “No,” you begged, reaching your good arm towards him. “Don’t-” you sighed quietly, only enough for Javier to hear.

“Leave.” you finished. His last view of you was your longing eyes locked with his and his suit coat wrapped around your wound. The dark blue had become soaked with a purple/red. The back doors to the ambulance slammed shut. Javier was left in the dust from the now screeching vehicle making its way as carefully as it could down a dirt road.

Javier broke down on his knees. His bloodied hands cradled his face. He publicly cried for the first time since he was a child. The whole squad watched him break down in front of the scene.

“Javi,” Steve said, carefully approaching him and placing his hand on his shoulder. Javi shrugged off his hand. He returned to his feet, used his wrists to clear off any tears on his face, and rolled up his sleeves. Steve walked back to the police car with him.

The view of the man who had shot you came into place. He was being carried out by other paramedics. Javier recognized him as one of Escobar’s men. His heart sank.

Your feeling about this warehouse was right.

Steve stood with Javi on one side, Connie on the other. They watched you through the glass of your bedroom. Javier was leaning on the wall, resting his head against it. His eyes kept fluttering shut until he was reminded of his surroundings and was flung back into this horrible reality.

“Maybe you should get some sleep,” Connie suggested, tucking her clipboard under her arm. “Nah,” Javi said, opening his eyes once again to look at you. “I got her, you don’t have to worry.” she re assured Javi. “She’s the best in Colombia,” Steve said smugly, swinging an arm around his wife. He was happy to have a reason to spend time with his wife during work hours, but upset over the circumstances.

His eyes moved to the hospital couch next to your bed. Then back to you.

They removed the bullet successfully. It didn’t hit an artery, but a major vein going towards it. After a two hour long surgery, you came out with a wrapped shoulder extending down to your elbow, and a recovery note from the doctor. You were going to be fine. They put you in a medicated sleep for a while, just to let the shoulder get used to the placement and to heal before you were awake and moving around. You were expected to make a full recovery.

“It’s getting late, man.” Steve said, checking his watch. A little after nine. “You should go home.”

Javi scoffed at the suggestion. “Not until she’s awake.”

Steve sighed. “She’s going to be fine, you need to-”

“I can’t. I almost lost her. The thought of her dying and never coming back scares the absolute shit out of me.” he hissed at Steve. Steve’s eyes widened as he stepped back. “You good?” he asked. “No. I-I…”

“You like her, don’t you.”

Javi didn’t answer, instead just crossed his arms and looked at you. He closed his eyes and took a deep breathe. “I don’t think I could live without her,”

“Then do something about it!” Steve exclaimed, smiling. “She cares about you, man. She cares a lot about you. So do something, please. I’m begging you!” he laughed, his hand slapping Javier’s back.

“Have a good night, my friend.” he smiled, trailing off into the hallway.

He made his way quietly into your room. He slowly shut the door behind him. He took off his watch, his belt, his shoes, and removed his badge and gun holster from his waist and set them down at the table next to the couch.

He made his way over to you. His thumb brushed over your forehead as his hand caressed your cheek. The blood had returned to your face, you weren’t so deathly pale anymore. “Good night, mi amor.” he whispered, giving you the softest kiss on your forehead.

He unbuttoned a few buttons on his shirt and pulled up his sleeves. He attempted to get comfortable on the hospital couch and shut his eyes.

Your eyes fluttered open just a bit before dawn. Putting the pieces together, you reached over to touch your wound. You seered at the touch, wiping your eyes instead and taking in your surroundings.

Hospital. You were well aware of what happened and remembered it so clearly. You thought you were going to die, die without holding Javier Peña at least once.

You blinked and turned your head to look at the sunrise. To your surprise, there he was. Javier Peña asleep on a couch. How long had he been there?

He looked exhausted. His hair was disheveled, his freshly new outfit was already wrinkled. You remembered how he took off his suit jacket and draped it over your arm. He was always such a gentleman, even when he didn’t try.

The beautiful Colombian sunrise began. The deep pinks, yellows, and oranges never failed. Your arm hurt horribly, but you weren’t concerned at that moment. Javi was there, everything was okay. Letting your mind wander, you lay waiting for him to wake up or a nurse to wander in.

“And everything is feeling alright?” the nurse asked. “Mhm, yes. Thank you,”

Javi shot up straight out of his slumber at the sound of your voice.

“Well good morning to you,” you chuckled, smiling at his sudden awakening. “Why didn’t you wake me?” he asked, checking his watch. Seven thirty.

“You looked so tired, I couldn’t.”

Javi got up and went to your side. He grasped your hand, and knelt down. “I’m so happy your okay,” he sighed, kissing your knuckles.

“You alright?” you asked, eyebrows raised with a suspicious tone. “Better than alright,” he smiled, looking down at your hands. He wanted to slap a ring on there as soon as he could.

Connie bursted through the door holding your breakfast tray.

“Ah, so you finally told her Javi. Congrats, the two of you.” she smiled, setting the food down in front of you. Swiftly turning to leave, Connie didn’t realize she spoiled his whole plan.

Javi had the look of defeat on his place, wishing this could have gone so much differently.

“What is she talking about?” you asked. Javi sighed. “I wish this could have been under better circumstances,” he sighed, getting up and rubbing the back of his neck anxiously.

“And?” you asked, nervous to what he was about to say.

He took a deep breathe.

“Seeing you on the brink of death scared the shit out of me Y/N. I thought I lost you.”

“What?”

“Steve told me something a few days ago in the break room-”

“Oh?” you asked, already knowing what Steve said. What a fucking snitch.

“And I really thought to myself. What am I looking for? I spent all my time with these other women, searching for something to fill the void. Nothing ever seemed good enough from them. It was never enough. But what Steve said made me think. Why was I seeing other women when the one I truly wanted was in front of me the whole time?”

Your jaw was dropped.

“I’m stupid, okay? I-I… watching you grab for me in the ambulance broke my heart. It made me realize things I never thought I wanted before.”

“And what’s that?” you asked, a smirk appearing on your lips.

“You.”

“Really?” you smiled.

“Yes!” he exclaimed, returning to his knees. “If you would have me…” “Of course I’ll have you,” “Please, Y/N L/N, be mine.”

He wrapped his arms around you, cautious of your wound. His cologne reeked off of him along with sweat, but you didn’t care. You felt his mustache tickle your shoulder.

“I won’t ever let this happen again. I won’t ever let you go.” he whispered in your ear.

“Like I’m ever going to let you leave,” you chuckled.

Who would have known Javier Peña’s street days would end with a single bullet.

I have reached 72 hours

[12:35 AM]I was coming back from a friend's birthday

[12:35 AM]And I was seriously craving a drink while on the tram

[12:35 AM]However, since it was past midnight

[12:35 AM]There was no way for me to access it

[12:36 AM]This is a little bit concerning because I still have the cravings

[12:36 AM]Not sure how I will deal with it in the coming few days.

I feel pretty good today.

[11:48 AM]Knowing that I have reached 72 hours, might also mean that I can use my necessity to fall into the sunk cost fallacy to continue this trend for as long as possible

[11:50 AM]My procrastination still persists though. I woke up at 11:00 a.m. today. which is not really good for productivity

[11:50 AM]I will probably write out a daily sheet and see what tasks I need to get done

Just got back from the gym

[3:20 PM]I recall back last year that I would often go to the gym late in the day and reward myself with alcohol followed by a hefty meal.

[3:21 PM]I realise now that the dopamine release made me condition myself to think of it as an appropriate reward and so, it became a habit

[3:22 PM]I have been reading up on how habits form and I have found that habits are triggered by some stimulus and becomes involuntary

[3:22 PM]I believe that the relief of sitting in my room after returning from the gym was that stimulus.

[3:23 PM]Not sure how I will change that because I will need to return here in order to shower

[5:41 PM]I have been standing outside Aldi for like 20 mins wanting to go in

[5:42 PM]I know the moment that if I do go in, I will 100% purchase some alcohol

[5:42 PM]However, at the same time I do need to purchase groceries for food

[5:42 PM]I do have some food at home but I kind of don't want to eat it

[5:42 PM]Let's face the facts

[5:42 PM]Alcohol really is ruining my life

[5:42 PM]In multiple ways

[5:42 PM]And I'm already on a streak

[5:43 PM]Why should I ruin it? Just because it's the weekend and I've had a long day?

[5:43 PM]But standing out here is just a waste of time

CHAPTER 44.

Nothing in the world is ever completely wrong. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

"I gave her choices. Unlike you, I would never force her to do something she didn't want to. She has all the plausible reasons of wanting to get away from you. Stop living in denial."

"You... you should have stopped her for me!"

"We are all busy because of your absence! Do you know that our stock prices plunged for more than thirty percent in just one day after you got shot? We are all on throes ever since!"

He sat on your bed inside the empty bedroom. The bed had been made up, the sheet was flat and crisp, the desk and coffee table in front of the TV were all bare, there was no sign of you ever been there.

He could only imagine to smell your perfume, it was always lingered in his mind, giving the illusion that the pleasant scent was still remained in the air.

"Where is she? You should have known about it, there was no way she could get away without any help!"

"You underestimated her, Yoongs. Tell me, do you even know where her brother and his family are, right now? They migrated out from South Korea. And how do you think a mere factory worker could get that much money to facilitate a secret migration in such short notice?"

He proceeded to the walk in closet, sliding the door open, and walked inside, his feet could feel the plush carpet covering the floor.

Seemed like you took away just a few, mostly casual and work out clothes. All the formal cocktail dresses and gowns were still full to the edge. Shoes rack were full, he realized you only took a piece or two, your sneakers and probably some of the low heeled.

He went to the bathroom, all your toiletries were gone. It was empty and bare, worsening the painful twist in his heart, realizing that he had lost you for real.

He fetched his gun from his coat and aiming it to Seokjin, whose eyes widened, not expecting him to pull the act.

"Hyung! No!"

There were sound of guns being cocked, and he knew without having to look, that some of the boys were aiming their guns at him.

Hoseok, Taehyung and Jimin who always carried guns on their coat, just like him.

Even Taehyung, his own brother.

Seokjin narrowed his eyes on him, and his tone of voice was back to calm and collected.

"You are willing to do this, to betray our vows, just for a girl whom you met six months ago? How shallow."

He swallowed the painful lump in his throat, and his eyes burned from the threatening tears. He couldn't cry in front of them again.

He would look too pathetic.

Walking back to the bedroom, he threw a once over the vast room.

The room was prepared for you before you came, and back then he hired an interior designer to shape it into a generic feminine theme for girls your age.

You changed the style and color of the bedroom when he gave you the chance to remodel it to your taste.

He had expected you to splurge to the maximum when he gave you the carte blanche on the budget, but to his surprise, you only changed the color of the walls and bedding set to dominant white and light grey, removing all the pink and pastel shades. The rest of furnitures and upholsteries were remained the same. Even the small chandelier that looked ridiculous compared to the room size was still there.

It was one of the many reasons why he was attracted to you.

His hand was trembling so bad, he tried so hard not to put any pressure on the trigger. His chaotic mind was exactly the opposite of Seokjin's. His hyung looked very much in control, and unlike usual, he hated it.

He hated the vulnerable feeling inside him, and to show it in front of them.

"So, you actually helped her run."

"I provided the means, it was up to her whether she wanted to use it or not. Remove your gun, and I will tell you my condition if you want to know her whereabouts."

"You give it to me now!"

He held his gun even firmer, he could hear the three boys stepped closer with similar stance, guns over his direction.

All his hyung ever thought about were always for the life of their group members.

He was like that too before you came.

Often times he felt that falling in love with you was the biggest mistake in his entire life.

But everytime he looked at you, he also couldn't help but felt how having you was the best thing that ever happened in his life.

"Think about this, Yoongs. All this time you could keep her by your side against her will, was because you have resources. We have the resources. Even if her name show up in the newspaper as missing person, we have the money and the right names to bribe. You kept his brother as leverage because we have the manpower to do that. We can have women that we want because we can provide the things that they need. Are you ready to throw everything away? How exactly you can keep her with you if not because you have the power and money to do that?"

Slowly, he finally lowered his gun to his side, but his eyes were still trained to Seokjin.

"Six months, I will give you six months to take care of these mess you had created. Work your ass off, prove it that you aren't as weak as we are looking at you right now. Or I will veto your rights as CEO."

"You aren't the main shareholder here."

"There are seven of us. Judging by the guns aimed at you now, you probably knew already, who will be on my side, right?"

Maybe the insane amount of work that were waiting for him in the office would be a great distraction for him after all. Something to alleviate the pain, diversion for him to keep going about his life.

"Yoongi, no..please stop, I haven't had shower yet."

He caught you by your waist, and threw you to the bed, and started to rain kisses all over your neck.

"You smell wonderful for me."

The scent of the sea and your perfume fed his lust even more, he could never get enough.

He pulled your dress shoulder to the side, but you cupped his cheeks and pulled him up, then kissed him passionately.

Half an hour later, when your throat finally gave up on screaming his name, he held your naked body in his arms while kissing your crown.

"How many kids you will want to have?"

You turned your head to look at him in surprise, your dilated eyes looked so beautiful to him. Then you turned back and he could feel your body tensed a little.

"Well, I'll see how much it will hurt for the first one. If it's really that painful, one is enough for me."

"I want at least three. All this time I only have Taehyung with me, our house felt so empty most of the time."

He could feel you rubbed his forearm in a soothing manner.

"We will see. Who knows we can have twins, save me some of the trouble."

Granted, he hadn't given any proof to you that he had changed, but he desperately wanted to. All the good things in life take time, didn't you realize that?

Looking back, even the act you pulled with Jungkook didn't seem to matter anymore.

He still remembered the painful feeling when he saw you on the bed with another man, the sensation of his heart being stabbed.

Yet nothing could ever compare with the sense of emptiness he felt right now.

You had ripped a part of his heart and took it away with you, the hollow bleeding pit that was left behind would probably never heal.

He sat on the couch, and stared to the blank TV screen. So many memories were played back in his mind, mainly the moment he held your hand at the blue beach in Maldives.

He took the emerald ring that Seokjin gave to him, a request from you to return it to him.

He chose the tear drop shape because it reminded him of how beautiful you were when you cried, but at the same time, it was also to remind him that hurting you should be the last thing he wanted to do.

It was meant to be a talisman for both of you.

But in the end, everytime he looked at it, it was only a reminder of how you betrayed him in the end.

With a forceful swing, he threw the ring to the TV screen, it bounced back with a loud clink after hitting the glass surface, before ricocheted under the coffee table.

Closing his eyes, he tried to hold his tears, but failed completely, when he could feel the mists over his cheeks. He tried to bash any memory of you, moments that he spent with you, tried to remove your figure from his mind.

But just like so many things about you, he failed that one too.

He got up from the couch, and walked to the balcony, savoring the breeze of the summer night. The sky outside was dark and clear of stars, only the moon at the faraway distance, full and perfectly round, but looked terribly lonesome.

Just like him, he had lost the twinkling star in his life, the source of his light.

How was he suppose to go on with his life when the darkness overlaid his way?

Taking his phone from his pocket, he dialed Seokjin's number, while his other fingers caressed the pendant on his neck. He released it once he heard his hyung's voice answering the call.

"Three months, I'll fix all of these in three months. And tell the old man, I'll collect the payment after that."

He didn't wait for his hyung to answer, just hung up the call, before dialed another number.

"Jung Soo? I need you to do something for me. Full force. I want everyone in your command to focus on the task. No limit on budget, I want result."

He paused to listen to the man's question.

"Jang Yuri. A female. I'll send you the information in a minute. I want her alive. Tell your men not to touch even a hair of hers or I'll bring down your whole team. I'll pick her up myself."

He hung up, and walked back inside the room, towards the couch. He crouched and picked up the ring from under the table. Observing the stone, there was no any crack, and all the small cut of diamonds were still intact on its mounting.

If only what he had with you was as strong as the ring, not even affected by the impacts and bumps from life.

He had thought he kept you well with his intention.

He had thought he could start all over again with you by his side.

He had believed he could change himself for the better, as long as he had you in his arms.

But time and time again, a phrase was held true to its meaning.

Once a devil always a devil.

He was a lost cause.

"You know son, always remember, no matter how ideal your relationship seems like, there is no guarantee she can be trusted. In the end, you have to do what you have to do."

His father was right.

He could never trust you, no matter how much he had loved you.

Month 11

What the fuck. Holy hell buddy.

The focus here will be catching us up with the missed months and then next month I’ll do a 1 year retrospective.

The last time I posted one of these was January 9th. In late February, we moved from FL to WA; at the end of the month we moved into a new, one bedroom apartment. In mid-March I started a part time job which I adore (running puppy camp at a R+ facility! in the next few weeks I’ll start teaching swims and puppy play groups!). So first we did a massive amount of prep for the move, and then we did even more prep for post-move things like “meeting my family” and “oh shit there’s hills now” and in between the two we’ve made huge strides on the cat thing.

The details!

Night time: We have completely stopped putting him in the crate at night. There were two reasons for crating to begin with: 1) We didn’t know where Penny wanted to sleep and didn’t trust them when we were asleep and 2) to create good sleepy associations prior to the plane flight. #2 is no longer relevant and a) Penny wants to sleep Up or in the bed and b) Hazard laaaaargely doesn’t care about her once the lights go off. So he sleeps on the floor, after a VERY exciting 4 nights at the airbnb where he got to sleep in the people bed with the people (Penny slept on top of the catinets cabinets).

Crate in general: I spent 2 months working on the plastic crate not being the actual devil, and he did end up being happy in it. But he’s regressed to thinking that crates in general are prison spaces due to the plane flight, so it’s all to the good that he doesn’t have to go in at all anymore. Regular crate training (for trials) is on the task list.

Medications: He was on trazodone through late March. For the flight itself, I started him on gabapentin (100 mg 3x daily) 24 hours before the flight, and gave him a double dose when we left the apartment. All of this was cleared with his vet first, consult with your own etc. No side effects and the gabapentin definitely helped--but he was still upset at takeoff and landing. One of the reasons I wanted him to see a vet in March was to switch off trazodone and onto something actually validated in separation anxiety. He’s now on Reconcile, 24 mg once a day. At 2 weeks in: No lasting side effects (the first 48 hours were a little weird), and overall anxiety is decreasing.

Anxiety in general: IT’S BEEN A FUN TIME Y’ALL. Because trazodone and prozac (Reconcile) both affect serotonin, he had to come off trazodone for 4-5 days before starting Reconcile. Which confirmed a bunch of things:

Trazodone wasn’t doing very much at all. 90% of the time he was unchanged.

He is WAY more anxious on car rides than anyone realized. Once off trazodone, he started whining continuously on the way out--the way back is fine, either because he’s exhausted, he knows we’re going home, or we’ve already been to the superfunexcitingplace.

Trazodone wasn’t doing SHIT for his separation anxiety, which was unchanged.

He was only slightly more reactive to the cat and no more reactive to strangers. Cool.

Now that we’re 2 weeks into Reconcile: Starting to see big improvements in separation anxiety (more on that later) and cat tolerance is back to baseline (ditto). Car rides are still chatty but rapidly improving. No side effects, still playful and happy and silly.

Separation anxiety: Over a month, we achingly worked our way up to 90 seconds of me gone, or 30 seconds of me gone if I had done one preparing-to-leave thing. And even that was unreliable. That’s not right, guys. That’s the big reason we switched medications. Because keep in mind that all of this is while Jo was in the room with him. Yesterday I left to run errands with no prep and he just watched. I love Reconcile. It took about 5 minutes for him to settle down, but still. Plan is to bust ass and get to 15 minutes with no pre-departure cues and then add them back in.

Cat: Two steps forward one step sideways. While he chases her every other day or so, there are no gates in the new apartment. Sometimes we close the door to the bedroom so Penny can be unmolested, but often she’s the one who wants out, and she’s finding more and more places to chill. Moooost nights Hazard gets tied (harness to longline to my desk) but that’s more so that we don’t have to be constantly watching. At night there’s sometimes scuffles, but those end with Penny wherever she wanted to be and Hazard under the bed.

Weight: Vet had him at 44 lbs but he hadn’t pooped that day. He’s now on diet Hills SD, 1.5 cups, but he also gets around 100 pieces of treats a day so that’s surely impacting things. He’s looking better and better though--nice thigh muscles.

Formal training: I have completely jumped the shark and started teaching rally cues. As soon as the budget balances I want to get back to doing rally with Sydney’s trainer, and he’s picking up the basics really fast. Also, recall?? Is coming along fabulously?? Amazing. Love it when I don’t have to do anything.

I jest, I did a lot. We did a bowl game where I put him in a wait, put food in his bowl, then went to the other side of the room and called him. He had to come to me before going to the food, and that really helped recall click in a way that other games hadn’t.

Handling: After 11 months I admitted defeat and took him to the vet for nails. The vet tech’s verdict is that he sang at her but she got them done in 5 minutes so hey. We’re going back to the very basics and doing it to enthusiasm, not compliance, this time. Sigh.

Good note: I did teach him a chin rest and he now LOVES offering it. Amazing. Love him so much.

Stranger danger: the BIGGEST progress. In the last month he’s met both my parents, my grandparents, one of my siblings, and a friend. 6 people, 3 genders, aged 19-77, and a whole array of builds and heights. They’re all white but you can’t have everything. A growing theme is he’s much better in novel environments than in his home base, so probably we’ll be meeting people outside and then walking them in. But still, seeing huge improvements in his willingness to associate with strange humans and let them touch him.

Walks: 40 min morning/20 min evening, except for once a week when it’s a 50-60 min hike or sometimes we rent the field at my work... It’s hard to be a dog ;) Fitness is less his problem on walks than focus for that long, so the hike is actually easier for him than 40 min along a 35mph road. Still, we’re getting lots of nice perky behavior out and about.

Week 11

Off the top, I’m just gonna say that your enjoyment of the ep is likely gonna depend on whether or not you find it OOC (or have stopped caring whether it’s OOC, because you gave up and have no expectations), and also perhaps whether you think Bon Jovi is trash or not (or still think the BJ song is cute regardless of your feelings for BJ). I personally hated the ep, but I suppose it was “comedic.” Anyway, that’s my own take, you can like it if you want to, and I’ll try to just have the scene descriptions be free of my own commentary, cuz honestly I’m starting to just not care anymore, cuz it’s not worth it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

3:23-4:34 - Terry screams the Gallagher house down until Mickey comes out. He yells a bunch of gay slurs, makes threats, they draw guns on each other. He storms off in a rage.

32:44-33:03 - IxM on the street walking to the next wedding place. Ian sees wedding dresses and it reminds him of Mickey acting like a crazy bride. Har har. He's acting like a chick!

37:05-38:27 - The preview scene at the caterer where Mickey busts up the chiavari chair.

41:15-42:01 - Sandy, who looks old-school dirty Milkovich, like season 1 era, is invited over for some reason, because apparently she’s a good person to help plan a wedding. Also, she’s apparently close enough to Mickey to be his best man. Ok. Ian is still like what the fuck, and so am I.

48:38-49:26 - IxM are at the Alibi and Mickey is still obsessively planning away. Ian is like, why are we doing all this? “Can’t we just be Ian and Mickey?” And then some dude Ian hired shows up and starts playing “Livin’ On a Prayer”. They smile at each other and hold hands. The end.

By mid-January, everyone is finally starting to get back to normal. After Hoseok's timely intervention, the holidays were a joyful time for the band. While there weren't any events or parties or New Year's Rockin' Eve, like last year, you were silently glad that peace was returning.

As the new year passes, everyone is pumped up and motivated to continue working on the next album. While still in the pre-production stages—melodies, lyrics, and concepts being solidified and meddled with—there are few places you'd rather be. Right in the middle of the chaos that is BTS, crafting alongside the boys, that's your happy place.

That's what dreams are made of.

"I'm kinda in love with this concept, not gonna lie," Namjoon laughs, reclining back in one of the studio chairs.

He's been behind the glass, practicing what you have so far on the namesake track for the next album, but you've hit a spot in the bridge that's more difficult than the last. Despite that, Namjoon has been much cheerier and light than usual. He adores this process, lives for it. It seems that the moonchild gets his best ideas when alone in the studio, after everyone else has long since gone home.

You, however, are about ready to hit your head against the desk. "I love it like my brothers; every now and then I want to kill them."

Namjoon snorts as you drop your tablet into your lap and let your head lull back. "I understand how you feel."

"No, you don't. Your big, genius brain thought up all of this. You get psychology and archetypes and theory like no one else, Joon. I mean, I knew we were going with another chapter of Map of the Soul, but don't you think 'Dream' is a little...I don't know, audacious?"

He smiles, showing off his dimples. "I prefer forward-thinking."

Your head turns back to the tablet, seeing the basic outline of the song in front of you. "Dream" was one that you and Namjoon were working on together. He had started the process with Yoongi, and thought it only right to end it with you. He and the Mins have always worked best together, and this song was going to be something special.

"Speaking of forward-thinking, I want to show you something."

Namjoon slips from his chair and scurries over to the producing equipment. Using the computer, he pulls up a file called, "From KSJ's, To MYN 2020.10.24."

"What's that?" you ask, the title of the file catching your eye.

"I'll show you if you promise to not cry."

"Um, why would I do that?"

Instead of answering, Namjoon clicks twice. It's an audio file, and you're overcome instantly with a voice you'd recognize anywhere.

Seokjin's angelic vocals start off soft and sweet, humming a peaceful melody that you've never heard before. Then they shift into soothing lyrics, and you can tell that they're meant for you. Phrases of love and emotion fill your ears, and breaking your promise to Namjoon, tears begin to brim. Seokjin's voice grows stronger as he belts out the chorus with all his heart. You've never heard him hit notes like that.

As the song comes to a close, Seokjin whispers the last line, adding to the end, "Love you, Jagi."

Silence follows. You can't bring yourself to move or speak or think of anything other than the beautiful song he'd recorded for you. Namjoon sits with you, in the quiet, eyes shifting every few moments to you then back to the equipment.

October 24th. That was the day you'd spent recording with Jungkook, the day Seokjin finished early, the day before he decided to enlist. He'd been awfully dodgy about his recording of that day. You had no idea what he was working on, only assuming that he was recording one of his parts for the new album's couple songs that had been pre-produced.

You never dreamed he was singing something just for you.

"He told me to show it to you after you were in a well enough head-space," Namjoon eventually says. "Saying goodbye's never been our strong suit. He wanted to make you feel like he was still here."

"It's beautiful," you murmur, your voice a whisper.

"Jin was thinking about including it on the upcoming album. He wanted you to make the final call. If you want to keep it just for yourself, that's totally okay. BigHit doesn't know about the piece, so we can keep it between us three if that's what you want."

You shake your head, turning to your friend with a small smile. "It's too pretty to keep to myself. The Army will love it. Seokjin deserves to be the one doted on for his solo. Put it on the roster."

Namjoon looks pleased with your decision, his dimples reappearing. "Maybe we should take off the message at the end, though. It might add to the rumors that have been circulating."

"By the time the album comes out, no one will remember me or those stupid rumors," you wave away his concern. "Keep it in. Jinnie left an 'I love you, Army,' message at the end of 'Moon' for the iTunes store. They'll probably think it's for them."

"And you would be okay with that?"

"More than okay." You nod to the computer. "Can—Can we listen to it again? One more time?"

Namjoon is happy to oblige, and the two of you settle in for another listen to Seokjin's last song.

After finishing at the studio, you decide to gather the courage and make the trek back to your apartment. Back home. It's late, and while the dorms might be closer, you know in your heart that it's time to face the music. It's been time for a while, but you've been too afraid of the shadows inside you to do the hard thing.

"Do you want me to come with you?" Namjoon offers, when you tell him your plans to stay at the apartment tonight.

You give the tall man a shoulder pat and shake of your head. "I'm good, Joonie. Thanks, though. You head home. I'll be by first thing in the morning. Tell the boys for me?"

Namjoon nods once, gives you a goodbye hug, and slips something into your hand as he turns to leave. "For you, from Seokjin."

When you open your hand, you mumble a soft "thank you" to the man already walking towards the dorms.

It's a thumb-drive with your name written in Seokjin's sloppy penmanship.

When you arrive at the apartment, passing through the gate and security, it takes all your courage to press the elevator button for your floor. Your heart races in anticipation. You haven't felt this nervous about going home since Seokjin asked you to move in.

But this is an entirely different type of nervousness. You have no idea how you'll feel when those doors open, when you put the key into the doorknob, when you enter the last place Seokjin and you slept side by side. Will you feel empty inside without him there, like it did right after he left? Or will you feel comfort from being around his things, like you feel around Yoongi's?

Only one way to know. With a burst of bravery, you step from the elevator, march up to your apartment door, and push inside.

The entrance corridor is dark, and the entire place is silent. You're used to music being on when you enter. If you're not playing something when you walk in, Seokjin has his playlist going in the background. And it's almost never dark. Even when no one is home, your silly boyfriend likes to leave some smaller lights on so that he wouldn't get scared. A smile graces your face at the memory.

Flicking the light switch, the entire space is illuminated with a soft, golden glow. With intrepid determination, you make your way to the kitchen, stepping over a pile of postage that's been slid under your door over the past few weeks. You put a kettle of water on the stove top. You take deep breaths, allowing the area around you to settle in your mind. Tea will help; tea always helps.

As the water comes to a boil, you tip-toe down the hallway to the master bedroom. It's exactly how you left it. Clothes are strewn across the furniture as you packed in a hurry. Those first few days after Seokjin and Yoongi left were the worst, and after the second, you knew you couldn't stay there any longer. You packed what you could find and fled to the safety of the dorms. While you could feel Seokjin everywhere, there was no place you felt him more than the bedroom you shared.

He's everywhere. In the clothing that has overtaken your closet, in the Mario knickknacks along the dresser, in the scent of air freshener that he adores, in the plethora of skincare and hair care products that he uses, even in the choice of bedding (he loves one particular kind of sheets that make everything cool on warm nights.) His smell, his belongings, him.

Seokjin is still everywhere, but this time you take it in with ease. This time, it doesn't hurt as much. This time, it gives you a little bit of peace.

As you feel the silence start to creep up on you, you take the thumb drive, plug it into your laptop, and play the only file in storage. Seokjin's voice fills the void, ever-present and comforting in your time of need. Even in the military, he's making sure you're cared for and feeling loved.

The warm feeling floods through you as you change into one of his baby pink sweaters, discarding the emotions and stress of the day along with your clothes. You make your tea, curl up in bed, and let Seokjin sing you to sleep.

It's the first night of dreamless sleep you've had since he left.

Early the next morning, as you're getting ready to head to the boys' dorms, there's a knock on your door. A small envelope is slid under your door, the usual way small post is delivered to each apartment by the attendant in the lobby. You pick it up, noticing the seal of the South Korean military on the face.

Seokjin. Your heart flutters when you realize this might be from him.

With hurried fingers, you tear open the parchment and reveal a neatly typed letter inside. Your eyes begin to take in what it says, never more happy to see an actual paper letter in your life.

Please don't laugh at my lame attempt at a love letter. I wish I could just pick up the phone and call or text you, but we're not allowed those privileges for another few months. So, instead, I'm stuck typing everything out to send you the old-fashioned way. Make fun of me all you want when I get back.

Everything has been going well at basic training. Yoongi and I have been able to stick together since we're in the same training facility. We will graduate soon and be sent to our assigned units, more than likely splitting up. I'm hoping for a more lenient one closer to Seoul, that way my personal days can be spent in the city with you and the boys, but that's out of my control. I don't want you to worry! Both Yoongi and I are keeping our spirits up, and I hope you are doing the same.

Give my love and annoying hugs to the members. Tell my parents and hyung that I love them, too. They only let me send one damn letter, so it had to be to you. But I'll never hear the end of it if I don't at least mention the boys. You know how they can get.

Yoongi is going to write to you soon, and his letter should come shortly after mine. Knowing him, it will be much more poetic than mine. But at least I beat him to the finish line!

Please take care of yourself. Write me back, and I'll try to respond as quickly as I can.

Alright, everyone, this is a personal post as much as it’s a public post so feel free to scroll all the way down to the colored text for the public part of the message but if you, like me, enjoy drama, then continue on!

So, to make a very, very, very long story short for those who don’t know, I call my birth mother Mother Gothel due to her emotionally abusive upbringing of me that caused me to suffer from severe depression, anxiety, and even hair loss! A few years ago, back in 2016, my friend-turned-sister drove down with her mother, packed me and my bags up, and gave me a place to live and start over where I’ve been able to get jobs, go to school, and become much healthier than I used to be!

During those years of growth and recovery, however, I kept in contact with Gothel through emails and the occasional phone call. Over the years, from the safety of being hundreds of miles away, I told her that I was gay and dating a girl. The resulting emails were not pleasant and she had no problems about calling my girlfriend a whore. Lovely, right?

Every email she has sent me has contained detailed bible quotes and scripture and needles of guilt over everything I’m doing “wrong.” She’s still “so proud of me,” however. So at least there’s that, right?

As of recently I emailed her and told her that I will be attending a four-year university in Tacoma Washington (moving away from Illinois) to continue my education. Her resulting email was lengthy. Here is some of it - cut for length.

I was telling Mom on the phone just this morning we talked for two hours-- that I was going to get a restaurant job here as soon as possible and let it move me out of here--I am moveing to Battle Creek or Marshall by Sept (labor day) and that I was sooo excited that I would finally get to see you, she said either her or Carl would drive me to [REDACTED] every now and then to see you. So Yes, I feel like a bomb was just dropped on me, my heart is broken, however I hope you will be happy and I wish you well in body and spirit-- I wish you nothing but the best. Just know one thing is for sure, I read my Bible and I will tell you right now, we are living in our last days you need to be concerned about where you are going to spend eternity. I just finished up reading the book of Matthew. In Matthew 21:25 The Heading Reads: "The Coming of the Son of Man" vs 25- And their will be signs in the Sun, the Moon, the Stars--mens hearts will fail them for fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. vs 27--THEN they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with Power and Great Glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and list up your heads, because your redemption draws near". Jesus said He would give us signs in the Heavens above and the earth beaneath. All of the earthquakes that have been happening for the last decade leading up to the Austrailian wildfires, and billions of animals died, God is giving us the signs, its just like He said in Matthew 24:36-44.

Lastly, 1 Thessalonians 4 :13--But I do not want you to be ignorant brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God wil bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven With A SHOUT--with the voice of an archangel, and with the Trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rist first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord, Therefore Comfort one another with these words.

After the Rapture, then comes the tribulation. I have read Revelation many times and to say the least you don't want to be left behind. In Heaven their will be 30 mins of silence that is when all Hell breaks loose down here. Just whatever you do, Do NOT take the mark of the beast if you do, then you will mark your soul for eternal damnation. Then you will hear the devil say----"Hello! Welcome to Hell!

I am saying all of this bcuz now you have a choice to live for God or for Satan. If something should happen to your body or God forbid but if someone tries to take your life or you get in an accident and your heart is not right with God--That is exactly how you will stand at the Judgement Bar. The minute you take your last breath in this body, you will be ushered into the presence of God then it is too late to make a decision there it is if the Angel does not find your name in the Book of Life, then the devil stands there waiting to escourt you to------Well lets just say---You Don't want to go there. But the Bible says you will answer for every deed done in the body good and bad.I know one thing, it can't be too much longer according to scripture. The greatest tool the enemy uses from his toolbox is that you have plenty of time--well I can say the devil is a liar cuz Jesus just says--Be Ready it is not up to us how long we get to stay down here, that is God's calling.Second Timothy 3----But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of truth.

Sister, we are living in our last days, make every day that God gives you breath in your body count bcuz you don't know when it will be your last day. There is pleasure in sin for a season--Hebrews 11:24. Whatever you do, don't let the devil take your life and your soul, it is not worth it.

Love You So Much and want to make sure your soul doesn't go to H---. I am praying that you will have a preacher as a husband.I miss you Michelle, I miss hugging you, I miss walking up those stairs to bring your meals to you I would LOVE to hug you just one more time. That may or may not happen before He Returns ony God knows this.Please write me back when you can, you are always on my heart and mind. I have made mistakes while we were all living at 2414, I am so very sorry I pray that you forgive me if I have offended you please forgive me, I thought I had it all together. But now I see, I was just messed up and made lots of wrong choices, but God came along with His Holy broom and cleaned up my mess and said to move on. As you can see, she immediately invalidates my choice - something I was very truly wonderfully excited about - and sends me a message that triggers my anxiety. I should note that she did not allow me out of the house without her even when I was an adult and over 18. If I went somewhere she had to be there with me.

Ah, but now we come to today and the email that spurred this post to creation. The above emails were sent two days ago and I have yet to respond. The email below was sent just today.

While I cannot apologize for what I said, It was not my intention to offend you in any way. I just went to google and typed in most dangerous city in the state of Washington and Tacoma popped up, that is out of 100 cities in the state.Okay, I know you say you have been there and all and you are no match for all of the evil there. God forbid, should something happen to you--you would be just another name and another number to them there is no much evil there they can't control it, I say to you just watch on a daily basis all of the crime that goes on in that sin city.

You better be praying about this cuz I don't think God would want you to put yourself in harms way--make a wiser choice, and God will bless you for it.Look at what happened to kobe bryant incident.... they met a very bad situation face to face and of course their was no way they could turn that around. My whole point of conversation.....sure you can do what you want bcuz you are an adult grown woman, but I would strongly advise you to pray to God about it and make a wise choice here, your life and future depends on right choices you make now.

What about University of Michigan in Ann Arbor or East Lansing University, Michigan University Kalamazoo, they are on the ten universities in Michigan. You need to reconsider your decision and think about your resourses you can get more help from family bcuz I have all kinds of family up there and I will be up there soon. You are no match for Tacoma Washington. I only say this bcuz you are my daughter and I don't want something really bad come out of this just bcuz you are trying to get an education behind you--this calls for wise decisions.

I don’t have my cat anymore (I had to give him to my parents when I moved in with my husband because he is allergic) but I had adopted him from the humane society. 2. what kind of cheese is your favorite, or no cheese at all? Honestly, all of the cheese. I love it all haha 3. do you like home design, like picking out paint colors and furniture? The only black and white show I’ve watched were old cartoons or 3 Stooges 13. is anyone else in the room with you right now? Not exactly? 25. have you ever watched a movie that’s in a completely different language, so you had to read sub-titles? All the time! I’m actually binge-watching “Dark” on Netflix (its a German time travel show. Its SO GOOD but also fucked up. It has English voice-overs but it just doesn’t feel right. Sounds much better in the native German). I also watch a lot of anime in Japanese (with subtitles). I’m trying to learn both languages. 26. do people with yellow teeth disgust you? Thats kinda mean 27. do you drink alcohol on new year’s eve? Yes 28. do you wear rings? Only my engagement and wedding ring 29. are you hungry right now? Yeah, a little 30. would you like to have a universal remote, like in the movie, Click? Yeah, I get Game Informer because I’m a member of GameStop’s membership. I get all of my video games there.

Well, we were supposed to go to Germany in September for Okoberfest but since that is cancelled, we probably won’t be going (International flights are still undecided on. Aside from that, I’m still flying to my hometown in early Sept for my cousin’s wedding (and hopefully the Renaissance Festival with my sibling-in-laws but I’m not sure if that will be canceled either.) 45. do you get bloated at all after you eat? It depends on what I eat, so sometimes. 46. have you read the book lovely bones? No, I tend to read Sci-Fi/Fantasy books. I briefly looked up what that book is about and definitely not something I would read. 47. are you mad that this survey is over now? No, I’ll probably do another one lol

Swimmers, you know exactly what I mean: All it takes is a bleach laundry load to put you right back poolside and in dryland workout areas covered in chlorine residue.

So, I'm just going to own it: Synchro. I did it for most of my pre-teen and teen years. I was also on a speed swimming team during those years (Butterfly was my strong stroke) and I've been swimming ever since.

What was installed in me at that time: Whatever exercise you do, 30 reps should be the minimum. There are some exceptions for specific muscle development but 30 reps is enough to push even muscle building exercises into cardio territory (even if only mildly) which, of course, is fat-burning.

Kari’s MCU Summer Writing Challenge

Hi y’all. Summer is finally here so it’s time for a challenge. I chose to use a few different types of prompts this time. There are 15 word prompts, 15 songs and 15 dialogue prompts. You have to use your prompt. So if you pick a song or a word it’s not enough to mention it. You have to somehow focus the fic around the lyrics (you don’t have to quote them but use the theme) or the dialogue/word prompt. Today is my habitversary! I wanted to thank all the people behind this app, for their wonderful work. Habitica has a very interesting donation system. It's free for everyone, and those skins and stuff, they aren't being pushed on us constantly like it's very popular nowadays, and purchasing the subscription never feels like you are sitting on the chain paying for pixels. I've always viewed donations (the wording is intentional) as a sign of appreciation, and believe me, I **really** rarely spend money on software. This app works flawlessly, it's convenient, good-looking, maintains decent performance, its community is the best I have ever seen in my life, its pleasant to use, it's completely free, I'm stressing this out again, and it has provided me with an enormous help over the last year using its neuroscientific patterns and mechanics. Just take a look at the habits list I was able to form and maintain during the past year. Of course a lot of them aren't present now, noone I think can maintain such a routine for long (not because it's hard, but rather time-consuming, during the summer break I was spending around 8 hours a day on my habits). But they all evolved, changed and left a permanent mark on my identity, because habits are what our identities are made of. So, the list:

1. Relationship challenge (The community guidelines forbid me from putting a full name there) - one year and counting, best streak 58d. 2. No Sugar Challenge - one year and still active 3. Deep work 2h/d - still struggling, more than a year 4. Learn something new daily - 4 months, then I entered uni so no need 5. No gadgets (on the go, while eating, in the toilet etc.) - still active, around 8 months. 6. No cursing (slang, neologisms etc.) - still active, got rid of most. 7. Wind down on time - still active, 10 pm 8. No Videogames - still active - best streak 138d. This one is especially important because my video games addiction is very severe. I look back and see how this app helped me to become a lot closer to freedom. 9. Be with my beloved person - still active, 4h/day 10. No Picking - still struggling, after 1 year 11. No running late - still active, best streak is like 9 months and counting 12. Eat Vegetables Daily - sporadically 13. Eat Fruits - sporadically 14. Cold Shower Daily - still active, current streak (without the 2 month-break) is more than 250 days 15. Rituals On Time (includes a lot of stuff like journaling) 16. Take only stairs - still active and the streak is cosmic 17. Exercise daily - got around 300 days of streak then switched to gym. 18. Meditate - still active, currently 1h/day 19. Read - 30 min/d, for 3 months, now gone (university) 20. Walk daily - 2 months, now gone (not for me) 21. Get up on time - still active and struggling to wake up at 5 am22. Reflect on your values - 1 months then not needed 23. Healthy recreation (no social networks, YouTube, films, anime, TV series, chats, parties, fiction books, music) - not active, around 3 months. 24. Do "Hand" - that's for lucid dreams, 3 months and gone. 25. Wear corset - still active, for my weak back. 26. Make bed - still active, streak is cosmic. 27. Drink water - still active, my first habit, streak is like 500 days (even before starting Habitica) 28. No Junk food - still active, streak is around 100 days. 29. No judging, gossiping, dependence on society - still active, but don't track it. 30. No emotions - bad one, gone after 20 days. 31. Be grateful - still active, streak more than 500 days too. 32. Keep a journal - same here. 33. Write mistakes - 9 months then gone. 34. Write cognitive biases - 5 months then gone, got bored. 35. Check cards - for my motivation - 5 months and gone. 36. Take vitamins - had to stop after 350 days because no one can take vitamins daily for so long! Probably hurt my health, the habit was so strong I never noticed. 37. Lucid dream journal - like I said, 3 months, now paused. 38. Never lie - tried, but went badly. 3 months and gone. 39. Wash your face - with skincare medicine, now gone, 3 months or so 40. Minimalism - that's my lifestyle now, far more than a habit. 41. Check your weight - gone after 2 months, I don't need to check it daily. 42. Track your time - still active after some long pauses. 43. Observe digital behavior - still active, around a year. 44. Clean and tidy up - not cool, I got my home shining, 2 months. 45. Darker, quieter, cooler - still active, that's for my bedtime ritual, around a year. 46. Do eye exercises - gone. They don't help me. 2 months. 47. Brain training - gone because of my uni. Don't need it. 8 months. 48. Floss - still active, around a year. 49. Morning pages - gone, 1 month. Boring one. 50. Doubt all info that you receive or express - that's my lifestyle now, after 4 months. 51. Self reflection (diaries, plans, journal, trackers etc) - included into rituals, still active after a year. 52. Wash hands - I don't even track it, it's so automatic. 53. Track expenses - still active after around 9 months. 54. Disconnect & unplug - still active after around 9 months. 55. Wear dark glasses while on PC - for my vision problems. Gone. They are way too dark. 2 months.

This post is not meant to brag but to show my great gratitude towards Habitica and probably, I hope, to inspire someone to work harder for their dreams. Believe me, with such long list of habits, I have tried ***all*** of the habit tracker apps and services ***in the world*** (except the iOS exclusives) long ago (and still try when new ones come out). And Habitica is the best one out there. It is a wonderful tool I use along my self-improvement journey, and I wish everyone who is reading this achieved any goal they want with the help of this wonderful app. I still have a long journey forward toward my dream, but now I know that my trusty tool and, dare I say, an old friend is going to be besides me to help, with its exciting rewards and kind, soft punishments.

That would be two days ago, and let’s just say family drama; 9 times out of 10 liquid leaks from my eyes out of frustration or anger and not sadness etc.

I would say I don’t really have one, but if we’re going by my spotify history, I should say Fall Out Boy.

8. Top 5 (things I hate doing/experiencing):

- having to take care of business or order something over the phone

- being told the same thing more than one or two times

- going to the doctors (dentists not included)

- going out in the sun

- temperatures higher than 75 degrees Fahrenheit

10. Biggest turn ons:

The phrase “turn-on” is subjective here, nonetheless things I appreciate in potential partners are: good forearms, a willingness to engage in non-sexual intimacy, a nice voice, emotional and intellectual depth.

12. Ideas of a perfect date:

Umm… being close, alone, with a nice view and optional good conversation.

Some people like tattoos, I love piercings. I have quite a few, but the next on my list is a tragus piercing.

I take medication prescribed by doctors and I enjoy a drink on occasion.

You know, I think about this sometimes, I’m sure I have minor things that I never remember that I may regret in the moment (ex: “I wish I would have said this instead of that”), however when I try to think of any specific things I regret, I draw blanks.

Yes, twice. When I was younger it went from white to pink, then when I was a teenager it went from pink to burnt orange.

I’m 99.4 % sure that I can confidently say, no.

Yeah, sure.

No, but I wouldn’t mind trying/learning/going to a class.

A few times, I suppose.

Nope, and I have no intentions of doing so.

Yeah, it’s not a super rare occurrence, but it’s not common for me either.

Ummm? I have had multiple tubes of eyelash glue dry up on me before I ever really used them (because I suck at applying false eyelashes on myself).
