Guardian Angel Sam and how he always seems to have what you need. Everyday, any hour, Sam always seems to have whatever you ask for. It’s almost uncanny, just how prepared he always is. Gods, you swear those pockets were infallible.

A tissue?

Sam’s got a whole pack, use them!

Hand sanitiser? Oh, he’s got your back!

The store had a lot of scented ones, but this particular scent reminded him of you. If you don’t like them scented, Sam also has an additional little container of unscented sanitiser, ready for your usage!

Forgot your bike keys? Well, Sam doesn’t have them, unfortunately… what do you think he is, a miracle worker? However, he does have some hairpins. Flashing you a boyish smile, Sam drops to his knees, fiddling with your lock. Picking it, pins clattering against the mechanisms keeping your bike locked in place.

Well, Sam said he’ll try, but the way his hands were moving, it’s hard to believe he’s never done this before. Perhaps sensing your apprehension, he chuckles. A rich, velvety sound that slipped into your ears as smoothly as silk.

“Relax, little imp. I’ve picked up multiple skills during my time… here.”

He turns towards you, the ghost of a smirk dancing across his lips.

“I promise I won’t break in your house.”

Shaking your head, you jab him in the arm playfully.

“You don’t have to break in. You’re welcome anytime.”

Sam blinks at you slowly, almost like a cat. Slowly processing whatever you’ve just said. Before he lets out a hearty laugh, lips slipping upwards into smile. A smile warmer than the sun itself.

“You really mean that, imp?”

You nod in response, your cheeks flushing just a little.

“Guess I’ll have to actually get this chain unlocked then.”

Soon, the chain drops to the ground, lock coming unlocked with a final “click”. Sam’s head tilting upwards ever so slightly, grinning away. The satisfaction of a job well done.

He may not be a miracle worker, but he’s pretty damn close, don’t you think?

Thanking him profusely, you hop onto the bicycle. Pedaling as fast as you can to your next destination. Late again, aren’t you? He couldn’t say it was no fault of your own, but hopefully you’ll be careful on the roads.

Sam watches you go, his violet irises following your retreating form. Well, at least for until you’re out of sight. Shoving his hands in his pockets, he heaves a sigh.

Guess he does miss something about being an Angel. Being as high above the ground as he was, watching over you, no matter where you went was a given. Now, he crosses the same street everyday, hoping to even catch a glimpse of your form, daring around the corner.

Well, Sam has no regrets on his end, really.

Being able to see you smile at him, smile because of him…

Sure beats any shining halo any day.

Anyone interested in my Half Demon Half Angal Sam AU?

I'm only in early season 8 (Sam just did the first trial).

It's set in-between season 7 and 8. Dean and Cass don't get sent to purgatory in this.

After coming back from the Cage Sam can still feel a little bit of Lucifers grace in him. At first he thinks he's just imagining it but after a few incidents he realizes he has grace.

He hides this fact from everyone because he's afraid of what they'll say and just tries to forget about it. Death comes to him in a dream a few months later and explains to him that every time Lucifer killed him and brought him back it left a little part of his grace in Sam's soul. Over time it stopped being Lucifers grace and it became Sam's own grace. Death also reveals that Sam still has demon blood in his veins and doesn't need to drink demon blood to use his powers.

Death tells Sam he's half demon and part angel now, but there's a problem with that. It's never been heard of and his demon blood and angel grace are fighting each other, he has more demon blood than grace and it's killing him. He needs to find a way to even them out or he will die.

This is a Sastiel AU because I have SamCas brain rot.

we were genuinely so cheated not to have Cas possess Dean. Hell! He could have possessed Sam and it still would have gotten the point across. Jensen would have put his whole jussy into the Cas/Dean hand off, and they could have had a whole convo before or after about how “it’s okay Cas, I trust you. You can have control.” And then references from then on to “when I was in you…” and with Sam? Don’t get me started. Dean being so fucking uncomfortable because Cas looks like his brother. Or the complete opposite where Dean so clearly just sees Cas and keeps having to be like “oh shit” when he gets too close and realizes it’s Sam’s body and it’s weird. So many possibilities and we got none of them 😭

“What are you, a Kent?” 

It’s a saying in the world of the supernatural. A well-known one even. See, several, many generations back, no one quite knows when, the Kent family managed to run afoul of a particularly nasty creature who laid a curse upon them. The original wording, no one quite knows either, but the gist, everyone is aware of. For no firstborns will be born to them before they already have one. 

It was supposed to be airtight in a way, a curse that would end the entire bloodline really. For a child to exist before they could have a child? How could that be? 

Well. That curse had… backfired. It had backfired massively. Most, at least back when blood was everything, didn’t exactly ponder things like adoption to those outside of their own bloodline. The Kents however, lived in a very simple village, one that had disease spread through it often back then, leaving families childless and children parentless. 

What were they to do but take them in? And so they had a son, many sons and daughters even, before their firstborn. Now of course, most would simply dismiss it afterwards. After all, that was the end of the story, isn’t it? 

Well, no. See, the curse was a family-line curse, a just in case perhaps, that meant that each generation could not have any children until they had children. Perhaps it should have ended there, but well. It didn’t. 

Kents are a strange breed in the world of the supernatural, known for having a… bit of an adoption problem. If any child or babe were to be left near their land, one can be assured the family line would take them in as their own. 

Fae, demon, human, changeling, satyr, cyclops, half-breeds, werewolf- it didn’t matter. A Kent would gladly pick the child up and raise it as their own. And now, they could add aliens to that long, long list in the family line. 

And really, perhaps with this context, is it really surprising that when one Clark Kent, said alien, opens his door to a basket on his doorstep holding a trio of godlings, he takes them in with no questions asked?
