Maybe some Macgyver as your bf headcannons? I love your content! <3

omg I’ve actually never done head cannons before but there are so many I have for the MacGyver fandom it isn’t even funny.

So without further ado, here is my very first attempt.

At least once a week he attempts to cook you dinner. He hates feeling like he’s taking advantage of you since you always cook for him, but he’s so bad at cooking it’s the only thing that makes sense. So you let him try and keep the pizza delivery guy on speed dial.

Whenever he leaves for a mission he makes sure to text I love you at the last possible minute. That way you know how he feels and he doesn’t have to hear you say it back or else he’d never end up going.

He loves teaching you how to fix his motorcycle. Sometimes he breaks something just so he can continue to teach you new things. Hence why it’s still in the living room.

When he proposes he makes your ring out of a paperclip. (I know he made Desi’s ring in the show but something about a paperclip and a broken piece of glass as a diamond suits him much more)

He always goes to Jack for relationship advice. Even if Jack has a zero percent success rate in relationships, no matter what he has the right thing to say.

He never buys you gifts. He makes absolutely everything. One time he even made you a necklace before even considering buying it.

You constantly argue about him not having curtains in his room. You argue that it’s like waking up inside the sun and he argues that you should already be up when the sun is up. You also argue that at any given moment your friends could be on the deck and see you messing around.

He loves when you kiss his scars. Considering he’s got many from field work and bullet wounds from previous relationship casualties. He was always insecure about them until you.

Same goes for his moles. Especially the one on his neck. It’s normally the first spot you kiss and he appreciates it since kids used to pick on him for them in school.

Mac often gets nightmares. When he does you make sure to wrap your arms tightly around him without waking him up until he calms down.

First Christmas after they're discharged, Mac's hair has gotten pretty long and if you don't think Jack breaks out the Legolas/Barbie/Rapunzel jokes, I respect that opinion but you're wrong.

So, Christmas morning comes around and Mac is tryna be nonchalant about this giant gift he's unwrapping and--

It's a l'oreal hair care basket. Oil treatments, masks, shower cap, the works.

The Polaroid of Mac's deadpan expression while he holds up the gift is one of Jack's most prized possessions and lives tucked away in his sock drawer.

If an introverted person dates Lucas Till, who's an extraverted fella,.

A/n: HI! This is my very first time creating an HC. I'm on my Lucas Till phase, and that's why I planned to create one. It's from my own perception or idea about lucas, so yeah, and English is not my first language, so please bear with me. Hope you like it! 🥹🫶.

● He's a goofball of sunshine; he never fails to make you laugh or smile so easily.

● He really does respect your privacy and your comfort zone so much that he always asks your permission for the things he wants to do with you or expresses concern about you.

● He never let you feel alone on every public or social occasion you attended with him.

● "Ah! Yes, we read that article on a social media website, right, love?" He always includes or joins you in some group conversations in a way that you'll be comfortable.

● If you're really not in the mood to talk with others, he'll just accompany you on the side and create your own social gathering with just the two of you.

● Many cute and derpy selfies together that end up making you laugh your heart out because of his funny faces. He loves to hear your cute laugh so much.

● He'll cling on to you the whole time you're watching anime (for anime fans) or movies or TV shows on your phone like a koala bear, as he also joins you and gets engaged in what you're watching. He even put one of your earphone plugs in his ear.

● He'll lessen his clinging when you're in public because he knows that it will make you feel uncomfortable, but holding hands is truly an exception. He'll never let go of your hand, except if he needs to use both hands for something.

● He loves the idea of spending his day off with you by his side, peacefully watching or reading a book while laying on the couch or bed, and his arms are wrapped around you as he takes his time to sleep, to read a book, or to join himself in what you're doing.

● He always advocates for you to live a healthy lifestyle, like, for example, exercising every morning.He won't push you too far, but instead he'll encourage you to take a small jog first, with him in a park, or take you to a gym where he'll exercise and help you perform such gym activities little by little.

● He also takes you to the set of his new projects, like a shooting or a taping. Then, he'll introduce you to his workmates and let you become familiar with them with no pressure until you feel comfortable around them.

● He loves to see you around his workplace, waiting for him quietly while reading a book, watching on your phone, or watching him work instead.

● After taking part in the shoot, he'll run to you like a little child with a big smile on his face that you really love so much. Then he hugs you tightly as you congratulate and compliment him, saying that he did a great job. It helps him to improve his self-esteem.

● He'll also take you on late-night walks around your neighbourhood and eat with you at some simple food stalls that you really like.

● He always asks your permission about something before he initiates doing things with you or for you.

● "I think someone's having fun," he teases you with that cute smirk on his face whenever he sees you start to get talkative, which makes you blush and pinch his sides as he whines cutely, which ends up making you both laugh because of your ridiculousness.

● He walks you home in your apartment or gives you a ride in his car, always having this tiny hope inside him that you'll invite him to stay for the night.

● He'll grin so happily every time you insist on him staying in your apartment or if you accept his offer to spend your night in his.

● You'll spend the night cuddling while sharing how each day went out or if you experienced or saw some funny stuff that will end the both of you laughing your hearts out.

● He just wants to spend his days and nights with you like this. Simple but genuine. Forever.

Who proposed?

first?? Mac. Laid up on a hospital bed, drugged to SHIT between the baddy-given scopolamine and Phoenix given pain meds. He's cleared and finally allowed a vistor and by the time Jack gets in the room, the pain meds are in full swing. Gets the biggest, goofiest smile on his face, tells Jack to come here, no, closer, no, on the BED, Jack. And once Jack's on the bed, Mac's grabbing one of the strings of his gown and wrapping it around Jack's ring finger. When Jack asked why… "Because what if we weren't at the Phoenix??? You wouldn't be all-allowed to see me. But if you're also Mr. MacGyver…" with the dumbest, biggest smile.

And then Mac's knocked tf out within the next 3 minutes.

Officially, Jack. He did some research and got them matching rings made of tungsten carbide so they'd survive pretty much anything that could kill them. Told Matty they were taking a vacation, and don't bother them. Seriously, let the world end, they're busy. Jack takes him to a nice resort for a weekend, proposes over dinner. Very low key but very romantic.

Kids?

Mac hadn't really given it much thought when Jack first brought up children. He figured that they wouldn't have kids because of their jobs, and he was okay with it. But Jack wants at least one. A few years after they get married, they decide to move away from field work so they can work on an adoption.

They end up with twins. A boy and a girl ("Luke and Leia, Mac, c'mon, this is a gift from the universe!") Luke Wyatt and Leia Ellen.

Communication skills?

Jack's an emotional person and can't really hide much from Mac, so they talk out their issues more often than not. Mac's not the greatest at communicating. His brain says one thing, his mouth can't figure out how to translate it, and so he usually just gets frustrated. Jack's great at reading him after so many years though and can usually draw out whatever is bothering Mac.

macgyver so far

i feel like im descending into the hell that is a toxic straight girl fandom but im not sure yet bc this is like. my only social media so i feel like im in one of those shark cages except i cant,, see what’s outside and also the bars are made of like. tin foil cannot wait to see if i get like devoured by a fucking kraken or have a healthy and beneficial relationship with the marine life! i am not hopeful

I hate mac conceptually as a character and this show is objectively kind of dumb and also very similar to a bunch of other shows but here me out: there’s found family and i can project on them so i need it like i need water to live

anyway my takes so far: love mac+jack soso much! also the bozer+riley friendship! dislike a lot of the romantic subplots very much! also im making mac autistic bc i project on him and also he’s like a boy genius so yeah you cant stop me (and jack is clearly adhd with strong empathy and emotional intelligence)

also there is definitely not enough of this show in existence and im certain ill break my own heart when i finish it and thats all the content. will post more coherent things about them later hopefully.

please ignore the fact that me getting into this fandom shows bad taste ( i know its cringe but i dont care about that, i just need you to know my takes are fresh as hell and my opinions are correct.) i acknowledge the flaws but i am allowed to like bad media and also the version of it that exists in my head is good i swear. It only needs duct tape+denial+pretending your headcanons are canon and its actually a really good show

hi y'all! i am finally (for i think the first time) opening commissions! as you guys know, i love writing, and i love creating new pieces with new ideas/settings/characters! i am now opening up writing commissions for those that want to get a personalized writing piece catered to their favorite character/actor/fandom! this does not mean that i will no longer be taking regular requests, those are still open! but now, if you want a personal writing piece with tom or one of the holland boys or even a winchester brother, i can do that with your name, attributes, etc !

✧ Blurbs and Headcanons: I have a ko-fi where you can donate a coffee directly to me without being compensated if you so choose, or where I will write a blurb or headcanons for you if you leave your request and (optional) tumblr url in the message with your coffee. blurbs will be min. 300 and max. 450 words per coffee (they are $3.00 each so it is discounted from my rate). you can always message me to commission a blurb if you don’t want to pay through the ko-fi site.

✧ Drabbles: message me to commission a drabble. they will be a maximum of 1,000 - 1,200 words ($10 - 12) before it becomes a oneshot. if you’re unsure if your request will be a blurb or a drabble, let me know! i’ll try to keep it as short as I can if you’d rather only pay for a blurb.

Ground Rules

Pairing: Angus Macgyver x FemReader

Warnings: fluff, minor angst, just two first time parents trying to figure it out

Summary: Much to your dismay your shared child seems to take after Mac and his curious ways. You had heard the stories about his unique childhood and if you didn’t get it under control soon, your daughter was bound to follow right in his foot steps.

Masterlist

When you had first started dating Mac there had never really been any rules. It wasn’t until you moved in together you finally had to put some in place. You had tripped over one to many contraptions and been a little too close to some minor explosions that had you deciding on no experiments in the house. After a minor fight he finally agreed and Mac followed that rule to the best of his abilities and you appreciated him for it.

What you had never expected was having a kid just like him. You don’t know why it never crossed your mind that it was possible for your child to have Mac’s intelligence. To be honest you wished you would’ve and you could’ve prepared yourself for all that was to come with a curious mind desperate to learn. You had heard all those stories about Mac when he was a kid, blowing up football fields and smoking out labs, but none of it ever really felt real until now. They finally felt real because your daughter had now taken it upon herself to do science experiments anywhere she can.

You had left for only ten minutes. That was it. Ten peaceful minutes to go out and do some minor yard work. She was reading a Nancy Drew book on the couch when you left but when you had returned, the eight year old girl had covered the kitchen in what looked like some sort of green foam. It takes your mind only a second to go haywire, panic setting in, fear of chemicals, and misdirected anger at your husband.

“Jackie! What is going on?” you rush towards her, making quick work of pulling her away from the mess.

“Elephant toothpaste, I saw it on TV and Dad told me how to make it” you were sure smoke was steaming out of your ears by now. As proud as you were for how smart your daughter was, these actions could become hazardous.

“Honey, I need you to tell me what exactly is in elephant toothpaste?” you ask as calmly as you can, keeping your voice even as if to not scare her off.

“Hydrogen peroxide, yeast, dish soap, water, and food coloring for some fun!” she claps excitedly, eyeing that very mixture on the kitchen counter. Now calming over the harmless ingredients you look at where she has some foam now stuck in her curly blonde hair.

“All that made a huge mess in my kitchen?” you ask, reaching for a dish towel and wiping away as much as you can in her hair.

“Well I tripled the recipe for a bigger explosion” she says as if the sentence alone doesn’t make your heart stutter. Letting out a deep sigh you stand back up and start to guide her to the bathroom.

“You definitely are you father’s daughter” you mutter, hands squeezing her shoulders.

“You should’ve seen it Mom, it was huge!” she cheers excitedly as you start down the hallway.

“Let’s get you in the bath” you tell her and she just smiles wide, clearly content with what she had just accomplished and you now had to clean up.

Once filling the tub with warm water you help your daughter step out of her elephant toothpaste splattered dress and into the bath. Offering her a bath bomb she keeps her curious mind occupied as you step out and figure out how to prepare yourself for the cleaning you had ahead of you.

“What happened here?” you find your blonde husband with an amused smile on his face, eyes scanning the green foam.

“Someone decided to make elephant toothpaste, have any idea where she got that from?” you ask crossing your arms and Mac looks up to find you are not as amused as him in this situation.

“Shit baby I’m so sorry. I didn’t think she’d actually attempt it, much less inside the house” he says walking over to you and you sigh, trying your best to not place all the blame on him.

“It’s fine, I just have to figure out how to clean it now” you say, hands reaching up to push the hair out of your face. It had already been a long day and the last thing you needed was this.

“It’s okay, I got it. I’ve done elephant toothpaste a time or two” he says, hands reaching to squeeze each of your arms, and you offer a weak smile.

“She’s gonna be trouble, just like you” you say with an accusing finger and Mac smiles before pulling you close and wrapping his arms around your waist.

“Maybe, but at least I know how to handle it. When I was blowing things up I never had anyone who understood me” Mac says and you give him a panicked look.

“I didn’t say anything about blowing things up” you tell him, head beginning to shake and Mac quickly stops you.

“I know but I happened to remove an entire football field once in my life. Maybe I can keep hers contained to a small park or something” he teases but you give him a stern look that says you’re not ready to joke about this just quite yet.

“How about no explosions and no more experiments in our home?” you say and Mac clearly mulls it over. You know he wants to cater to his daughter’s curious mind, provide her with every opportunity he could to learn, but could that be done at the expense of your kitchen?

“One explosion and experiments in the yard?” he counter offers and you sigh.

“No explosions and experiments small enough to not alert neighbors in the yard” you finalize and he nods with a grin.

“I can accept that” he says before pressing a chaste kiss to your lips. “Now where’s our little scientist, I want to applaud her”

“She’s taking a bath, you can say hi after you clean up this mess” you tell him, hands pressing against his chest and in the direction of the green foam.

“And what about you?” he asks, a small pout to his lips and you slowly press a kiss to them. The pout gone in seconds.

“I’m going to help her out of the bath and then we’re going to set some rules” you tell him and he nods, saluting you as you walk back to the bathroom to find Jackie hadn’t even washed her hair yet.

It’s only an hour later you finally have the small girl in fresh pajamas, damp hair combed, and sat between you and Mac on the couch. The Nancy Drew book from before is open on her lap and you finally give Mac a look to tell him it’s time to set some rules and create boundaries for her.

“Jackie honey?” you coo, fingers reaching to push away the book for a moment.

“Yeah Mom?” she says, half distracted and trying to chase the page as it moves away from her.

“We wanted to talk to you about your little experiment today” you tell her and Mac nodded, blue eyes finding his daughter’s matching ones.

“Yeah honey, just a quick chat” and at her father’s words she finally closes the book on her lap.

“We love that you enjoy learning new things. It’s amazing the things you already understand, but we need to set some rules” you tell her and a sad look flashes across her features in seconds.

“You made a big mess today, one that worried your Mom. So there can’t be anymore experiments in the house” Mac says and the girls is instantly defeated, a gasp leaving her mouth.

“But Dad, it was just elephant toothpaste. It wasn’t dangerous!” she whines and Mac shakes his head, staying firm and on your side.

“Yeah but your Mom didn’t know that. So there is going to be no more experiments in this house unless approved and supervised by one of us” he tells her and her lip instantly quivers as her arms cross over her chest.

“But you and Dad can do as many experiments in the yard as you want and he’s also agreed to bring you to his lab at work once a week to learn something new” you comfort the sad girl, arm wrapping around her.

“You promise?” she asks, hopeful eyes looking up at her Dad.

“Of course honey, pinky promise. We want you to grow and learn but science can be dangerous and it’s important we treat every experiment as that” he tells her and she nods even though you know she’s not entirely on board yet.

“Does that mean I have to tell you about the habitat I’m growing in my closet?” she whispers and you flash a worried look to Mac who is trying his best not to laugh.

“Well, why don’t we go find out” he says, standing and lifting the girl to dangle over his shoulder. The giggles and squeals she lets out are a stark contrast to the somber mood she was just in and you can’t help but smile as you watch them disappear down the hallway.

“Is that a toad?!” you hear Mac’s voice bellow down the hallway and you are quick to stand to your feet and rush down the hallway.

“Oh hell no”

Jack + Matty’s Plan (whatever it was)

Mac might be our titular hero but Jack is absolutely the glue that binds so many of the relationships in the show together. And Jack and Matty is s really interesting one. Jack was so alarmed when he found out Matty was replacing Thornton, because of… whatever happened between Jack and Matty in the CIA. And aside from the assless chaps cold open (for which I would like to send the scriptwriters my deep and everlasting appreciation), we can only guess what all went on back then.

Jack was plenty quick to turn Thornton in even though he and Mac spent years working close with her, including in the field. He refused to believe in Nikki’s innocence, and he and Mac were even closer with Nikki. But Matty? Jack’s trust for Matty is on a whole other level, right up there with his trust in Mac.

I love this little scene in 2x17 where the team debates why Matty tried to lie to Mac about knowing his dad and if they can still trust her:

Mac: I can’t just ignore this. She already lied to me once.

Bozer: She can’t hide this. Jack found actual proof she was investigating your Dad.

Mac: No. We found proof Matty was compiling a dossier. We have no idea what was in the actual report.

(interrupted by Riley’s arrival but then…)

Riley: I swept through every government server and I found nothing. Either that report on your Dad is so top secret no one has access to it, or it simply doesn’t exist anymore.

Headcanon

Given a small amount of information about what James MacGyver has been up to for 15 years in regards to Mac, Murdoc would kill him for free. He would do it because it would fall under his “free human trash removal” policy, and he’d hope it would hurt the Phoenix. And also because, unlike the rest of the characters who ought to be trying harder to separate Mac from James, Murdoc wouldn’t mind if Mac’s upset over his trash father’s death, because you know, sometimes the things that are good for you are not things you enjoy, like going to bed on time or eating more vegetables.

Just imagine if Matty had quietly slipped Murdoc just the right info around 3x3...

Ok so we’re almost on to the next rewatch episode and before we get there.... I must confess that I LOVE 2x13 for all the Jack parts. Like everything with Jack in this episode is gold. I mean, the robot apocalypse is fun, there are some really great Mac lines, and I love that Bozer’s out there having his back for once. But I love, love, love Jack’s high school reunion. I love the hilarious, over-the-top awkwardness of the whole thing. I love it because it’s like any high school reunion. Like literally, trust me here, if you’ve never been to a high school reunion? This vibe is SO accurate.

High school reunions are a weird mind game. You’re suddenly stuffed in a room with people whose opinions deeply mattered to you when you were ~17 years old. And so what if you haven’t given those people one second’s thought in 9.5 years? (or maybe 24.5, if you’re Jack!) It doesn’t matter how long it’s been or if you’re never going to see those people again, you’re probably also going to have that sudden, desperate need to prove you didn’t turn out to be some kind of loser.

But of course Jack’s reunion is like any awkward high school reunion x100, because of course Jack has to stick with the whole “bathroom tile salesman” cover story. Matty made sure to remind us all about it right at the start of the story so we can foresee Jack’s troubles coming from miles away.

🥺arguing about things but in an 'I love you' type of way. Steve and Danny have carguments and Mac and Jack bicker in the field.

🎢my wildest ride is probably take away the part that hurts and let the rest remain. It's not even that wild but it is a ride. One of my only planned multichaps

👀 MacDalton rendition room play like I did for McDanno sneakypeek:

“You should go ahead and get it all off your chest now, pretty boy.”

“What?”

A heavy sigh followed a heavy hand landing on Mac’s tense shoulder. “Tell me the name of your contact. ‘S all I need from ya. One name and you get to leave.”

“What kind of bullshit, discount CIA interrogation tactic is that?”

Mac wasn’t expecting the slap that handed solidly on his left cheek at all. It stung immediately, blue eyes watering under the blindfold.

“Alright, then,” his captor said easily, suddenly much closer to Mac’s face. “Didn’t wanna hurt your pretty little face, sugar.” He sounded almost apologetic.

Mac scowled. “Don’t worry about my face, asshole. Worry about what I’m going to do when I get free, what my team will do to you.”

“Then I have nothing to worry about; you ain’t gettin’ free until I want you to get free. Your team? Ain’t worried about them at all, honey. You’re stuck with me, Angus.” His name wasn’t said maliciously, just knowingly. Letting Mac know that he knew details about him.

and for those McDanno fans, some high school AU:

Danny stood up, reaching down to help Steve up. Steve kept hold of Danny’s hand after he was standing, following the shorter man’s lead towards a storage shed across the yard. Danny picked the lock easily (with a bobby pin that was in his pocket) and found an old moving blanket. He shook it out and spread it on the ground, grinning at his boyfriend. “Nice, huh? Quiet, private… Kinda romantic.”

“Why do you have a bobby pin in your pocket?”

“That’s what you’re focused on?” Steve sat down and grabbed Danny’s hand to tug him to sit next to him. He pulled Danny’s short legs over his lap.

“Yeah. Why do you have a bobby pin in your pocket?”

“Gracie… my sister… remember her? Four foot tall, hair down to her butt that Danno has to braid daily?”

“Yeah, Danno, I’m well aware of Gracie. Why do you still have it?”

“Are you getting at something?”

“You’ve been hanging out with MacGyver too much,” he teased.

“You think he taught me that?”

“No, but I think he gave you the idea of carrying a bobby pin, you delinquent.” Steve grinned, fingers massaging Danny’s frequently-pained knee.

“Your boyfriend finds a perfect little hideaway for some private time and you insult him?”

“I don’t think you what was ‘perfect’ means, sweetheart. I do like having you to myself, though.”

Danny grabbed Steve’s face and planted a heavy, smacking kiss on Steve’s lips. “You. I love you. You’re a big pain in the ass, but I love you. Now hush. I’m smokin’ my joint.”
