Most hits: Oh yeah, here are those criminal minds fuckers. Shit that's cathartic to get rid of.
Most Hits: Rodeo (Pacific Rim Becketcest). A kink meme fill but honestly this is a great flagship for my bibliography. "Yancy's hung like a horse; Raleigh plans to take him for a ride." Just a whole lot of smutty size kink, with a bit of brotherly fluff thrown in.
Second most kudos: The Infatuation of Freedom (Lost Boys David/Michael) Yay for Yuletide PWPs!!
Third most comments: The Bitchelor (Black Sails 'the bachelor but gay' AU cowritten with my wife @jadedbirch). "Eleanor Guthrie needs a new boyfriend for her Hot Gay Dad. And her career needs a pick me up. Fortunately, a certain reality TV offer promises to solve both problems at once. Our Black Sails fics totally dominate the top of my 'most comments' list, which says a lot about how amazing that fandom AND my wife are ;) They're all fucking hilarious if I do say so myself. XD
Fourth most bookmarks: The Heart Sees Rightly (Person of Interest, Rinch daemon AU) Oh wow first non-explicit fic! I guess people just love fluffy Rinch x soul-animals. <3
Fifth most words: The Spark of Life (Dark City (1998) A cyberpunk reimagining of Dark City with big influence from Surrogates and the Matrix. I think this was my second NaNoWriMo?
Fic with the least words: I did't make him for you (Defiance) oooh, a 'Rocky Horror' inspired Yuletide treat for my wife!! God, this show had SUCH great worldbuilding and the showrunners just squandered it and then dropped it when it didn't sell video games, ugh.
This was fun! I do have to honorable-mention Know Your Faces Wisely (Good Omens) my (now) top-kudos'd fic that's ALSO my top-commented outside of the Black Sails fandom, simply because unlike those two assholes I just orphaned the Good Omens fandom CLEARLY shows up for authors and appreciates fic. <3

Complete fanworks focusing on Harold Finch and John Reese in a romantic or close platonic relationship with each other. Fic, art, vids, remixes, sequels, you name it! No length requirements, no style requirements, all ratings allowed—do what you want!
Anything not allowed?
Works where Finch/Reese or Finch & Reese is not the primary relationship (additional ships are fine), works that are incomplete at the time of posting, and remixes or other transformative works for other people’s fanworks that are done without the original creator’s permission. Anything else is fair game, as long as it’s labeled.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I don't always respond to comments and I usually leave that to my co-writer (and partner in crime) Tibby since we both collaborate on most of the fics I post and they're more comfortable with responding to comments. But if it's a solo fic, then I work through my anxiety and respond to anyone who's kind enough to leave a comment because I genuinely love getting feedback and seeing people enjoy my work really inspires me to keep writing!
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Uhhh... That's gotta be my newer oneshot, Free Fall. It's a SoapGhost fic and a rewrite of the ending of MW3 (Yeah, you know the scene).
7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I've got a few (cause I'm a sucker for a happy ending) but the one I'm gonna go with has to be The Goal Isn't To Live Forever (It's To Create Something That Will). It's a part of the list above and it's currently one of my only completed, multi-chaptered fics.
8. Do you get hate on any fics (Art)?
Unfortunately, yeah. But mostly on my smut pieces (especially the ones that include a trans character).
Though I also remember recently getting a particularly rude comment accusing me of using chat ai to write my Geraskier fic, even though it was first published it way back in 2020, before chat ai was even a thing that people used.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yup. I usually stick to my comfort zone and write M/M stuff.
Though, in my longer fics, the smut isn't really the main focal point so I keep it pretty tame.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
Oh boy. My co-author has actually got me hooked on a crazy rare pair to the point where we wrote a whole fic for it (and are working on the second in the series). It's a Daryl Dixon/Dean Winchester pairing set in the TWD universe.
A close second would be my Among Us x KiriBaku AU.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Nope, thank god.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yup! Someone reached out to me and asked to translate my FNaF: SB fic into Russian.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Sure have, but only with one other person.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
Omg, no! I have to pick!?
Well, if forced with a gun to my head, I supposed I'd have to say Rinch (John Reese x Harold Finch from the TV series Person of Interest). I love the show and the characters and the story and the world building. It's just a pairing that I will always keep coming back to no matter how many other ships/fandoms I fall into.
15. What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
My KiriBaku x Among Us crossover fic. The main page, where I had planned out the entire fic, was accidentally deleted and I don't know if I'll ever recover from that since I'd have to rehash the entire rest of the story from scratch if I decided to one day come back to it.
However, that being said, I'm still holding out hope that I'll randomly get a burst of motivation for the story. Who knows.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I'd say my strengths are writing angst, witty banter, and transition paragraphs (since my co-author often gets stuck going on tangents and writing really detailed scenes so they often ask for me to make a segue in order to get us to the next plot point, which works out for everyone).
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
My weakness is definitely in-depth, detailed scenes, hands down. It's kinda embarrassing, but my writing can sometimes lack the descriptive, engaging language necessary to make the story/situation/characters interesting (especially when it's decidedly not a writing day) and it often reads like boring exposition.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I am not fluent in anything other than English, but that doesn't exactly stop me from (relying heavily on google) and using other languages in my fics, especially if the character that I'm writing for prefers another language. Take Miguel O'Hara for example, who is canonically bilingual.
The same kind of goes for accents too. I try my best to emulate how it the words would sound while speaking it while writing dialogue. Take for example my SoapGhost fics, where both characters have a thick, distinct accent.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Unofficially (as in never posted): Vampire Diaries.
First fandom I posted to Wattpad (yikes) when I was like twelve: BBC Sherlock
20. Favorite fic you've written?
Jeez, another difficult question. Um... I'm gonna go with What Is Meant To Be (Always Finds A Way), for several reasons.
It was the very first fic that I posted to my ao3 account.
It was the first multi-chaptered fic that I'd ever completed.
I managed to finish and post the final chapter on the day of my birthday (which was a pleasant surprise).
I love it so much that my co-writer and I are actually currently in the midst of lovingly revisiting/revising the entire fic to make it even better!

okay, this is a long time overdue I guess, but I finally feel like I need a pin post. about me, this blog, my ships and all these jazz
I came here from a space similar to a livejournal. so this blog is just a blog about whatever. if I feel like posting my old drawings, I will be posting my old drawings. or some whining about irl. or about a movie I just watched.
quite obvious english is not my first language and if i’m making little sense or some stupid mistakes it must be because of it.
that's also the reason why I am usually so slow with replies. it’s scary to communicate in my first language and even scarier in english. I am bad at communication altogether if I’m honest. but I'm trying to do my best though (on AO3 too).
I do not let go of a fandom I once loved. I just can’t even when I want to.
I’m open for requests right now. BUT it is a slow and may take me literal YEARS.
I’m always back and forth.
I’m very attached to the voice of a character. I don't like dubbing. no matter how good it’s done. I want to hear original voices. if I watch anime it’s always with subs. I usually fall for the characters with unusual or distinctive voices or intonations or speech patterns.
and don’t get me started on singing! I'll never shut up! I LOVED ALL MUSICAL EPISODES I’D EVER SAW! ALL OF THEM!

I prefer to read low rated fics. I’m not that interested in sex scenes and high rating is almost always is about sex. so why bother and waste my time on something I'm not really interested in? I will read explicit and mature rated stories from the writers I love. because I have been reading them for years and I know I love their writing. though I most likely skip pwp.

Hidden cigarettes

When Finch gets shoved up against the hotel room wall, the smell of cigarette smoke invades his lungs. John had him pinned, and he was just praying that his research had been correct, that his newest charge would have mercy on him.
“What the hell do you know about it?” John was extremely intimidating, but with good reason. Finch had tied him up and played a recording to rile him up. He’d be more concerned if Reese hadn’t reacted.
While working with Mr. Dillinger, he had seen John work, and had watched as he let Daniel Casey go without harm, except for the missing molars. In that moment, he knew that he wanted John to work for him instead.
What he hadn’t expected was to be immediately attracted to the man, and his prayers to be released had turned, far too quickly, into a prayer to not get aroused.
“It's the truth. You left the government because they lied to you… I never will. I think all you ever wanted to do was protect people.” Finch kept his composure, acutely aware of John’s body pressed against his own.
John released him, and he let out a sigh of relief, adjusting his glasses. The scent of cigarette smoke had been ingrained into John’s clothes from his time on the streets, and Finch found it rather enticing, even if he believed the habit of smoking was abhorrent.
His ruse had worked, and they started their tentative partnership.
Being thought to be dead by the world at large had its benefits. They didn’t have to play by the world’s unwritten rules. They didn’t need jobs, or friends or anything else that made them human.
In any case, it only made it easier for the men to fall into something more, something more primal.
It started off just being physical, after a few close calls with adrenaline running high. They’d bedded with each other, helping release any tension that had been building.
Being closer in that way had made it easier for them to work. There were no feelings, none that they were willing to admit anyway, and it prevented them from dragging strangers into their more dangerous affairs.
A label wasn’t necessary for what they did in the dark, and it was a secret well kept from the world.
Someone had shot at Finch, and if he didn’t reach over and grab onto John’s suit, he was certain that John would have exploded in rage. They had retreated quite quickly into the safety of the library, where Finch assumed his usual position at his computer while John took Bear outside for a breath of fresh air.
No one had been hurt, and Finch was safe, but he just couldn’t shake the rush of adrenaline which had flooded his body. The walk did nothing to help him, so he stopped by the shop on the way home.
The first drag of the cigarette had released the built-up tension, harsh smoke filling his lungs before he exhaled. Finch was going to kill him. He takes another drag, leaning against the brick wall while Bear sat patiently. It had been years since he’d stopped the habit. Incidentally, it had been Finch’s fault he stopped, and now it was his fault that he had picked it up again.
He doesn’t linger after he’s finished, and makes his way back to the library, knowing there would be no hiding what he had done from Finch. It wasn’t worth trying anyway, not when Finch would merely scold him.
Finch was always a lot more fun when he was irate with John anyway.
The smell permeates his nostrils before he’s aware John had come back. In an instant, his mind throws itself back to the day they had met, when John had shoved him into the wall. This time, his body reacts, and he had no chance of stopping it.
“Mr. Reese- “ He tries his best to look accusing, but the dilation in his pupils gave him away, his tongue darting out to wet his lips.
“Yes, Harold?” John plays along, intrigued by the reaction. He’d never considered that Finch might actually like this. He comes closer, looming over the chair naturally to glance at the computer screen.
Finch is left speechless as the smell only gets stronger, the tent in his pants growing embarrassingly noticeable. With the no-sex-in-the-library rule forgotten, Finch makes a choice.
“John… That day we met. I need that again.” He whispers, praying that John understands his word’s intentions.
Even though he had asked for it, the feeling of being dragged from his chair and shoved to the bookcase was remarkably overwhelming, and the whimper that left his lips was unintentional. John had an understanding of Finch’s injuries, and although he took care not to hurt him, he was definitely pushing the limits of what Finch could handle. Finch let himself go, completely at John’s disposal.
He wasn’t proud of it, but that was the fastest John had ever made him come.

“I hope you like your eggs mildly congealed.” That kind of sass at this early hour could only mean one of two things:
Either John was a lot more late than he realized or he had forgotten something that Harold deemed important.
(... Or both.)
“Harold, I--” That’s when he spots them, trailing off in disbelief.
They’re chatting in the back corner. The brunette’s got her hand on a milkshake and French toast, the darker haired one is destroying her steak and eggs. They appear to be oblivious to him and Finch, content to focus solely on breakfast.
Of course, even if that’s true that doesn’t mean jack.

So I was thinking about hand holding in star trek and of course I thought about John and Harold holding hands after number crunch so I wrote a little something
When John finally wakes up in a haze of anesthetic, Harold softly says his name. Their eyes meet. John slowly raises his hand and Harold grasps it.
"Harold. You're here." His voice is low and tired, but relief rings clear in it.
"Always."
"I told you not to come."
Harold puts his other hand on top of John's and leans closer.
"And you knew I'd come for you anyway," he replies – John deserves to be rescued, and that's not up for discussion.
"I did." John pulls their hands to his chest. "Thank you."
Harold allows himself to relax a fraction, to feel the steady rise and fall of his chest, to feel John being alive, alive, alive.
"You're welcome." He's sleep-deprived, and fear still lingers in the corners of his consciousness, so he adds, "I think you can't keep me away from you."
John smiles and squeezes his hand.
"Wouldn't have it any other way." He stays silent for a few breaths before asking, "Stay with me."
"I wasn't planning on leaving you anytime soon."
John closes his eyes. Maybe he'll never open them again – the thought comes too fast to be pushed away. Harold tries to ignore the irrational fear that John will die if he so much as turns away from him, but it curls up in his guts again. He focuses on John's breathing. Inhale. Exhale. He follows its rhythm. Inhale. Exhale. John isn't dying.
"You'll be okay, John. I'll make sure of it." John squeezes his hand again, and the fear starts to recede. Harold isn't sure of anything, but he clings to the fact that he survived the worst of it. John falls asleep quickly; Harold doesn't move his hand for a long time.
