Releasing Patreon Bonus Stories

Hey all!!

I've taken a bit of a break from writing during September, but I'm returning to working on AToC starting from tomorrow. In the meantime, since I've had my Patreon up for over a year now, I thought it would be nice to release a few of the exclusive snippets to the public.

These are only a select few that I chose randomly to release, featuring a scene from the game told through the POV of the love interests. The ones included in this file are:

R meeting the Crown for the first time in CH2

A comforting the Crown after the nightmare in CH3

D seeing the Crown dressed up for the first time in CH4

X Seeing the Crown's coronation vision in CH7

I've also included snippets showing how the Crown's parents met each other, how X met Tûjo and Heval, and how Perjin met R told from Perjin's perspective.

You can download the file from this link. It's a zip file, so you'll have to unzip it ("extract all" option after right-clicking it), then open up the index.html file in any browser of your choice. Just make sure not to move any of the files outside of its folder, or you'll break the images/fonts!

hey so lore olympus isn't listed in any of the publicly available listings of Jim Henson Company copyrights

in case the odds against LO's TV show happening weren't stacked enough as it is

also for some reason there are only copyright numbers for the first four books of lore olympus so that's ... weird. that's weird, right??

Alright...

So, I started working on the "Ice" doll. In my efforts to try different things anytime I do one of these, I decided to try sculpting the hair this time to achieve its cartoony-shape.

In my opinion, it turned out pretty good.

But...

It's Mario. I just made Super f*ckin Mario, which was NOT the goal here.

So I peeled it off, and I'm going back to the drawing board for his hair.

My RPG Maker gamemaking is being a pain in the ass and I don’t want to complain too much (long story short, I’m struggling with graphics and resolution and it’s brought everything to a standstill). But because of fussing with this, I haven’t been watching any shows or writing any fic. I started some Lost Tomb fic (I think I mentioned that ages ago? Did I post a snippet? I remember thinking about it), and I still haven’t given up on my Untamed and Silmarillion works. 

This does mean that I have like twenty WIPs, NOT counting the Kink Bingo boards I started. I would be completely overwhelmed but I’ve always been a bit of a My Pace writer. My fic folders are positively relaxing compared to the chaos in my RPG Maker stuff.

While the original subs say Qian, Yuan is actually saying Ge which means older brother in Mandarin (more info here). In fact, so far, Yuan has only ever addressed Qian as Ge. As @thisonelikesaliens pointed out, when Yuan does switch from Ge to Qian, it'll signify that a significant boundary has been crossed.
