first few days of school wasn't actually that bad! i studied pretty consistently for the last few days... and these photos were taken over the week.

the first one is a journal that i'm using to track my progress for a major project i'm doing, the second is my english teacher marking my choice of texts for a comparative piece, the third is some french knots and my attempt at recreating the pegasus constellation only to realise like right after i finished that the head is upside down but we take these tbh. the fourth is a fabric i'm planning on using in my textiles project and i thought it was really cool so wahoo..!!

I was asleep through pretty much all of the twitter sexyman poll because of my timezone and didn't know it was happening so sadly missed the hype, but catching up on the buildup and responses this morning is hilarious

#flipping my irreverent maudlin switch here to say seeing all this fanfic and art crossovers between all the characters #is so genuinely joyful and funny (INCLUDING TOBY LMAO..)#but it does highlight how all anyone needs to let loose and and not be deemed cringe creatively is a sprinkling of irony to justify it #like if you drew the onceler congratulating sans with a trophy in any other context it'd be ripped on and reposted to places #but when you do it In the Know at the right time that's acceptable behaviour #also well. you gotta do it well. sincerity levels are inverse to quality of art skill #aesthetically pleasing: a funny joke and worthy of praise #a little crude/rusty: dumb annoying person who likes it 1% more than I do which is embarrassing and bad #anyway I focused too much on no fun alloweding no fun allowed attitudes in the tags lmao so this whole thing IS great
