- Prompt Idea: volume/sound manipulation villain

(villain amplifying hero’s perception of sound to catch hero off guard/make them uneasy)

hero placed their hands over their ears in an attempt to drown out the sound

though the sound of blood pumping through their veins made them even more uneasy,

they could hear everything - their heart beating, their organs pulsing, even the sound of their own blinking echoed in their mind.

(other things this prompt could include)

while villain is fighting hero - they’re making it sound like they’re coming from opposite sides (catching hero off guard)

villain causing a very loud high pitched sound that only hero can hear - threatening to make them deaf or tiring hero out

(could even tire hero out to the point of exhaustion)

making hero (or other people around them) think that they’ve gone deaf

drowning out the sound of other people talking - making hero only able to hear villain despite being in a room full of very loud people

(this could also include villain making hero miss out on important information by drowning out the sound of that one person)

mimicking other peoples voices - eg drag hero out of hiding by making them think that they have a hostage

(whether its the voice of someone hero might recognise or not)

(this could also mean that when someone actually does need help - hero may think that it is a trap which could result in them not going to help)

could make someone temporarily mute to all people around them (or just to one specific group or person)

this prompt could also include the hero having super strength and agility. Maybe they’re someone who usually defeats villains with ease

though their abilities are rendered useless against villain

(as their powers aren’t much help in a fight when the villain makes it sound as though they’re coming from alternating sides)

worst case scenario threatening to make her deaf)

however, threatening to make people deaf may take up a lot of energy, making it difficult to fight afterward. These are just ideas, and I'd love to see your own twist on the prompt. If anybody does end up using this please tag me, I would absolutely loveee to read it.

it's not much, but I thought I'd share the Indoril Nerevar cosplay I have planned and in the works!!! I've actually never really fully sewn my own cosplay before, I usually thrift and alter stuff to fit a character— but I started playing morrowind a while back and WOW the lore really sucked me in

I love Nerevar, I think he's rad, and I wanted an excuse to style my hair into a mohawk and to sew something, so here we are!!!

i should mention that lol. bro has literally no friends. they have connections. and employees. but no friends

odd morals. yes they will order assassins after rivals. yes they have tortured people. yes they will threaten the lives of suspected traitors. but also they have all their employees names and birthdays memorized (you catch more flies with honey than vinegar)

my victim specifically is incredibly insecure about their scarring*, which only fuels the fire they have against alan. they honestly would have moved past it all if they didn’t have to look at their reflection every day (they try to avoid its eyes)

i like to think they sometimes hallucinate alan taunting them because i love to torture fictional characters

people are so down bad for them in-universe and they Do Not Care. theyre allosexual but married to the grind (demiromantic tho)

my funny little vic design is transmasc and *LOVES their top surgery scars. they’re covered head to toe in so much scarring given to them against their will, but those two are special in that they were fully victim’s choice and their life is all the better for it.

i think they should have a disney villain ballad. like the dark lord. you know what actually i think those two would get along but also hate each other.
