Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).
When you learn to trust the Lord, you will begin to have a sense of rest in the Lord knowing that he has everything under control even when life seems to be out of control. Trusting God will get you to the point where you make a decision to trust in Him and NOT in your own logic and understanding.
As Christians, we must make a decision to trust Him regardless of how scary the situation may seem. Trusting God doesn’t prevent you from being in uncomfortable situations but it does allow you to be placed in a position where you seek the Lord’s presence, provisions, guidance and promises.
I encourage you to stop stressing yourself out losing sleep, being weary, anxious, worried, depressed and sad. Don’t try to understand the ways of God because it is impossible for you to understand His decisions and ways! (Romans 11:33). The natural man cannot understand the things of God. God's ways are not man's ways, they are past finding out and this is why we must make a decision to trust our all knowing God.

Romans 12:1-2. “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (NIV)
“Keeping a Clear Mind” By In Touch Ministries:
“Have you submitted your mind to the Lord?”
“The human mind is an amazing creation of God. Nothing on earth can match its capabilities or creativity. It generates feelings, thoughts, words, attitudes, and behaviors—who we become and what we achieve are largely due to how and what we think. So, doesn’t it make sense to let the One who created us guide our thought processes? To do that, we need to align our mind with God’s Word and allow His Spirit to influence us. As this happens, God gives discernment, empowering us to look beyond the surface and view situations as they really are—in other words, as He sees them. Then we can distinguish not just between right and wrong but also between good and best. Yet such clear, focused thinking doesn’t just happen. We must deliberately choose and diligently maintain it. So let’s carefully consider what we allow into our mind. Ask yourself, Is this helping me become the person God wants me to be, or is it hindering the process? Though we have a responsibility to participate in the transformation, a renewed mind ultimately comes from the Lord. True change requires full dependence on Him, not on our own abilities and strength. Ask God to help you lean on Him and fill your mind with His Word.”

Keeping focus
Have you ever found yourself feeling like life has become monotonous? Sometimes, when our focus drifts from what is most important, it’s easy to feel like every day is the same. We can struggle to find purpose and meaning when we’re focused on our own problems, our own circumstances, and our own desires. The phrase, “When you lose your why, you lose your way.” applies all too well when we find ourselves growing apathetic and complacent.
We must remember the ultimate “why” for living. When we read this passage from Ephesians 4, the passion and conviction of the words seem to jump off the page. We can see clearly that there is a singular source of hope, salvation, life, and purpose: God alone. There is no other substitute. There is nothing else to add and nothing that can be taken away from Him. From Him, we receive everything we need for this life and the next. Through Him, we have the opportunity to make a difference in the world around us for His glory. When we understand this “why,” everything else fades. This is what unifies all people: hope through faith in Jesus.

For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.

The First Book of Kings recounts the historical period from the arrival of King Solomon to the throne of Israel until the reign of Jehoshaphat in Judah and Ahaziah in Israel, a period in the history of God's people that lasted almost 150 years. The book begins by recounting the most glorious era in the history of Israel, but then exposes the beginning of the progressive decline by recounting how the Kingdom of Solomon was divided into two; the Kingdom of Judah where Solomon's son, Rehoboam, ruled, and the Kingdom of Israel where Jeroboam, an officer of Solomon, governed. But it happened that Jeroboam did what is evil in the eyes of God by imposing in Israel the cult of the Golden Calf, and thus, in addition to the political schism, a religious schism occurred. And it was for this reason that God admonished Jeroboam's wife through the prophet Ahijah when she went to visit him, warning her that not only would the duration of his dynasty be short, but also that this would also bring about, as a consequence of Israel's idolatry, the destruction of the entire kingdom, and so Ahijah prophesied: "The LORD will strike Israel, so that it will be like a reed swaying in the water. He will uproot Israel from his good land that he gave to their ancestors and scatter them beyond the Euphrates River, because they aroused the LORD's anger by making Asherah poles. And he will give Israel up because of the sins Jeroboam has committed and has caused Israel to commit" 1 Kings 14:15-16. The prediction of Ahijah is a reminder that the peace and the secure life are not blessings for fools but for God-fearing men, because there is a teaching in the Bible that has always been fulfilled unfailingly: "For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction" Psalm 1:6.

A simple reminder to forgive someone today.
The first reaction when people offended you is to hold onto the grudge and think that you deserve to remain angry. This is because:
1. Pride. We always think that that person does not need forgiveness for what he did to you. Having a mindset of “what he did, does not equate to forgiveness”. 2. Fear of being offended again. Some people are just afraid that if they forgive someone, they will do it again.
But let us look at what the Bible says:
1. For our pride, remember that God does not keep a record of our sins as He always forgive us even though we, too, don’t deserve it.
Psalms 130:3-4 (NIV), “ If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
And this is because of His unfailing love.
Psalms 130:7 (NIV), “O, Israel, hope in the Lord; for with the Lord there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows.
So, if God forgives the undeserving (you), then we should too.
2. For fear of being offended again, remember that forgiveness results in repentance and creates holy fear.
Psalms 130:4 (NLT), “ But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you.”
Notice that if we ask forgiveness from Him, we repent and we develop the thing called holy fear—fear of offending God and grieving the Holy Spirit. So, forgive and let the Lord convict your offender. For sinning against people is sinning against God as He commanded us to love our neighbors. (Fear of the Lord or holy fear delivers us from offense and from offending someone).
But, if your offender is not convicted, then read the number one again.

John 4:7‭-‬30. “A woman of Samaria came to draw water. “Give Me a drink,” Jesus said to her, for His disciples had gone into town to buy food. “How is it that You, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a Samaritan woman? ” she asked Him. For Jews do not associate with Samaritans. Jesus answered, “If you knew the gift of God, and who is saying to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would ask Him, and He would give you living water.” “Sir,” said the woman, “You don’t even have a bucket, and the well is deep. So where do You get this ‘living water’? You aren’t greater than our father Jacob, are You? He gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did his sons and livestock.”
Jesus said, “Everyone who drinks from this water will get thirsty again. But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again — ever! In fact, the water I will give him will become a well of water springing up within him for eternal life.” “Sir,” the woman said to Him, “give me this water so I won’t get thirsty and come here to draw water.” “Go call your husband,” He told her, “and come back here.” “I don’t have a husband,” she answered. “You have correctly said, ‘I don’t have a husband,’ ” Jesus said. “For you’ve had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have said is true.” “Sir,” the woman replied, “I see that You are a prophet. Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, yet you Jews say that the place to worship is in Jerusalem.”
Jesus told her, “Believe Me, woman, an hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know. We worship what we do know, because salvation is from the Jews. But an hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. Yes, the Father wants such people to worship Him. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ ). “When He comes, He will explain everything to us.” “I am He,” Jesus told her, “the One speaking to you.” Just then His disciples arrived, and they were amazed that He was talking with a woman. Yet no one said, “What do You want? ” or “Why are You talking with her? ”
Then the woman left her water jar, went into town, and told the men, “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could this be the Messiah? ” They left the town and made their way to Him.“ (HCSB)
“Christ’s Transforming Power” By In Touch Ministries:
“Those who have a personal encounter with Christ are permanently and radically changed.”
“Ephesians 2:1-2 says that before salvation, we all are spiritually dead. But when a person places faith in Christ, he or she becomes a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Nowhere is this more evident than in the life of the woman at the well, recorded for us in today’s passage.
Before Jesus came to Sychar, the Samaritan woman’s life was challenging, to say the least. She was not fully welcome in her community, as evidenced by the fact she was going to draw water during the hottest part of the day, long after others had done so. It’s easy to imagine her walking with her head down and eyes averted, hoping to get what she needed without calling attention to herself.
However, she and Jesus spoke directly—a surprising departure from cultural norms of the time—and what He revealed changed everything. After learning of the living water Christ offered, she no longer ran away from others. Instead, she went right to them to share the amazing news (vv. 28-30). What a transformation! Salvation came to her in a moment when she least expected it, and the same can be true for people in our day.”
