My thoughts of the book of John

Today I felt a tinged in my heart and I read the bible cuz I've been neglecting my promise to read frequently but I read the book of John and its a reminder that if you love others god is in you his grace will abide in you but if you claim you love God and still hate others you are on the path of darkness and God doesn't abide in you because God is love and if you don't know God then you don't know love.

Feeling very angry today about current events in Canada. Decided to read a talk by president Nelson today in which he quoted this scripture from John

33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Immensely grateful for my saviour Jesus Christ who makes all things new. Who has overcome the world. Though the world is unfair, I can trust in Christ.
