Care Bears. Help

So, as shown in my recent reblogs, I went on a bit of a nostalgia trip recently. I loved care bears when i was a little kid. The Care Bear Family series, The Joke-A-Lot and Big Wish Movies, and the Welcome to Care-A-Lot series, as well as Adventures in Care-A-Lot were Huge hyper fixation for me. I still have some rlly old care bear plushies around, and some figures. (id have to find em tho) Mostly of Bedtime Bear, who's always been my fave.

But I thought, hey- Why not draw All of my favorites? A lot of them are the cousins, tbh mostly just bc when all the characters are just bears - after a while - the lamb or cat character is the only really unique one. 😭 (Tender Heart is also a favorite of mine, but he isnt here bc i couldn't fit him on the page 🥲 rip bear grampa)

The Characters from top right to bottom left are:

Also, most of the characters are modeled after their appearance in The Care Bear Family Series, since its what I have the most nostalgia for. Especially good luck bear. :]

Also, can I just say- I adore how ungendered the characters are in the classic series. Seriously, Its immaculate. To long have we suffered under the tryrannical rain of disney gendering our anthropomorphic animal charachters. These classic designs deserve more recognition.

"What's that? You're crying?" You watch as hot tears run down his cheeks, small sniffles escape him. With a 'tsk', you brush strands of hair that block his face, "You're always all bark, and no bite. It really takes me just a bit of harshness, and you're already turning into a whining dog in heat."

He desperately shakes his head, but not in attempt to disagree with your last sentence, no. He tries to prove that he is capable of biting alright, yet the muzzle you put on him doesn't allow that. Your fingers trace the metal cage, pleased with his pouting expression.

"How about you prove how good you can be for me, let's say, by..." your foot presses against his clothed semi-erection, ripping out a startled whimper. He doubles down, hugging your leg with his arms, eyes trained on your face, "...making yourself cum by humping my leg, hm?"

"What?! You know I can't come, if you don't touch me! You better give me proper attention, [Name]!" He huffs, looking offended by your "dumb" suggestion. You're well aware of how he gets, when you try to put him in his place, trying to appear dominant. His attempts always fail, however.

"Cute. Very cute." You run your hand in his hair, tugging at his messy strands. You look him up and down, his mouth open in a silent moan. "Cute, yet so desperate. Are you not?"

"N-no! I'm not desperate, you are– Ah!" You give his hair a one more harsh tug, which shuts him up completely. "Shut your damn mouth and be a good boy for once, or else I'll make sure you won't get to have any orgasms for a whole week."

"Yes, master..." You nod along his words, petting him in a rewarding manner. You like his feistiness, but his obedient side has a unique charm to it. You press your foot on his still clothed dick, before slightly lifting it. "Hump my leg."

The words sound authoritative, no room left for his brattiness. He hesitates for only a couple of moments, but slowly wraps his arms around your thigh, while his bottom half ruts against your shin. You can't help teasing him by brushing your fingers in his locks.

His movements turn into erratic ones, rhythm lost completely. He turns his head to the side, pressing the muzzle to your leg, as frustrated tears form in his eyes. He blinks, and they start streaming down his flushed face.

"Poor thing, let me help you," you free him from the cage, massaging the spots it connected to. "Don't stop moving. If you make yourself cum like this, I'll reward you." You kiss his temple, urging him to get back to work.

Your dog might bark a lot, but he will never bite the hand that gives him pleasure.

I’m bored so here’s some of my jackets IG, pretty much all of these were jackets that I got on sale super cheap or that I was given.

The purple jacket is my newest and still very much a work in progress, (all of them are escrow the Donnie Darko one actually, purple is jsut the newest) and I need to redo the back patch (Polkas Not Dead by The Dreadnoughts, fave album by my fave band) next to it is my other main jacket which has a Danger Days back design. “Do Good Recklessly” is a saying that has resonated with me a lot so I figured it would be cool to have it there. I got a Reel Big Fish patch coming in the mail soon and I wanna get a Ska Dream patch for it, trying to decide if I wanna add some colored/patterned panels to it bc that night look cool. Gotta figure out what other bands I wanna put on it but it’s kinda hard to find colorful patches lmao

The gray jacket actually started off as a cosplay item for a Killjoys OC that I never got around to doing. I consider this my first jacket even tho there was a really shitty vest that I wore one singular time before I got this one. My boyfriend actually made a few of the patches that are on the gray jacket (Days N Daze and Polkas Not Dead above the spider) as birthday gifts when we first met, I don’t put a ton of patches on that jacket and it’s all bands that are v important to me for various reasons, the Frank Turner one was from the first show I went to with my boyfriend and he has one on one of his jackets too. Mischief Brew is one of my fave bands and their music means a lot to me, LS Dunes (the pyramid) has a really cool community surrounding it so I thought it would be cool to put that there. It also has zippered sleeves which makes it really nice for year round use!! Also has a Billy Idol pin because I grew up listening to Generation X and I still adore that debut album. Im immunocompromised and have a kidney transplant so I decided to add the pins to represent that because they are a big part of who I am.

On the bottom two pics, the left jacket is my queer horror inspired jacket. I am at some point gonna get a backpatch of The Old Dark House of a scene at the end of the movie with Morgan (Boris Karloff) holding Saul’s body (Brember Wills.) It also has a few Rocky Horror related items on it such as the “creature of the night” patch coming from the song Touch-A, Touch-A, Touch Me as well as the iconic lips and Frank-N-Furtor. Also have a The Lost Boys pin and the Babadook as well as a Beetlejuice pin. The Elm St. pin is specifically for Nightmare 2 and Gene Co is from Repo the Genetic Opera, a movie with a bisexual face stealer. It’s a fun time. Frankenstein and the Bride are classic queer coded cinema and James Whales was an openly gay man who directed both (as well as The Old Dark House) in the 1930s.

The last jacket is my Donnie Darko jacket. Donnie Darko is one of my fave movies, everting except the pins were done by hand. The pins are all artists who are actually featured in the soundtrack of the movie.

I cant PICK but my 2 faves rn are the shadow red and the split dyes because of a conversation i had with my sibling when they said id look rly good with a split dye a character has but that character has like light blue & smt dark i cant decide if its black or blue so multiple choices

@czigonas wanted to see me answer those artist questions and I did them all so it’ll be under the cut

1. Art programs you have but don’t use?

As of rn I cannot draw on my laptop/tablet so technically paint tool SAI and photoshop(idk what version). But I guess I hadn’t used photoshop for /years/ back before my drawing hiatus. Sorry but SAI is so much nicer to look at and to use, for me personally.

2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left,right, or forward?

I flip flop my canvas a ton to a) look at it for wonkiness and b) to get specific lines in a direction that feels good, but the actual act of drawing I typically like to have them looking left cause most the the lines flow from top right to bottom left which is nicer to do since I use my right hand to draw even tho I am ambidextrous.

3. What ideas come from when you were little?

This question confuses me on what it’s actually asking soooo? When I was like 12 I had to write a story for school so I did a story about a plane crash in which the survivor came face to face to a rat/bat/cat/dog creature thing? I’ve always wanted to redraw the creature, idk if I have the original drawing I did and I don’t feel up to digging to see if I kept it during all my moves.

4. Fave character/subject that’s a bitch to draw?

My favorite animal color patterns aka brindle, merle ,roan, spots/stripes. So time consuming. In terms of shape, human faces for sure.

5. Estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself?

Before hiatus, probably 90% /shared/. Currently, probably 75% /posted/cause I can’t post the porn to tumblr lmaoooo but I have shared them with like half a dozen friends.

6. Anything that might inspire you subconsciously?

I’m sure there’s a ton but if it’s subconsciously then how would I consciously know?🤔 ok serious answer, probably every single 2D animated movie or show I’ve ever seen, and all the various artists I follow. I mean, there’s parts of my style I can pinpoint you to what it’s inspired by.

7. A medium of art you don’t work in but appreciate?

I’ve never /seriously/ tried oil paint, acrylic paint, or pastels but that shit always looks so good. Also watercolor even though i have tried and enjoyed using watercolors but I am far far faaarrr from being proficient in them. Non drawing wise, I fucking love dioramas, especially those that are then filled in(?) with acrylic(?). I watch a lot of those videos on YouTube.

8. What’s an old project idea you’ve lost interest in?

Most of my old animal ocs I had in the same universe in my mind and had a comic planned that I never got around to. I still love and wanna revisit those ocs. But also my dragon age ocs who I’ve SERIOUSLY BEEN CONSIDERING drawing in @soaps-hoe-141 universe 👀

9. What are your file name conventions?

Before hiatus/ on my laptop, subject or character and whatever was happening in the pic. Now using procreate on my iPad? I don’t think I’ve named a single one lol.

10. Favorite piece of clothing to draw?

Nothing, no clothes, nude, nakedness please and thank you. lol but I guess I do sorta enjoy figuring out clothing in general, folds and shit, getting that practice in. Like how it hangs and creases in poses since I’m not used to drawing it.

11. Do you listen to anything while drawing?

I don’t usually listen to /only/ music while drawing, I much prefer having a favorite movie playing in the background and/or a show I enjoy rewatching/am actively watching. I also watch a lot of gamer YouTubers I put on as background noise/short watch breaks that their voice is just soothing to me even if I’m not /watching/.

12. Easiest part of the body to draw?

I’m not sure… maybe boobs/pecs for humanoids. General body shape for animals?

13. A creator you admire but whose work isn’t your thing?

Honestly can’t think of a single one. I mean, plenty of artists do work(or with a medium) that I can’t or don’t want to do/use personally but I read the question of “isn’t your thing” as “subject you don’t enjoy”. If that’s correct, then idk what to tell you. I don’t follow or remember people who majority does things I can’t enjoy on some level.

14. Any fave motifs?

Quite a lot of religious imagery I guess ex. Circles around a persons head. Less serious answer is drawing characters in meme formats lol

15. Where do you draw?

Please don’t tell any physical therapists I live like this… on my back on my couch with my head on the arm rest while holding my iPad propped up on my chest like 8 inches away from my face lmao

16. Something you are good at but don’t really have fun doing?

Idk???? I do shit for my own enjoyment so I’m not sure? Maybe perhaps backgrounds? Like I could do something decent if i wanted to but I’m not into it so I usually just don’t?

17. Do you eat or drink while drawing?

Broken broken? Next to fucking none? some charcoal sticks but otherwise…. None… I majority do digital art so really nothing to break there lol

19. Fave inanimate objects to draw?

Idk? I like doing life charcoal drawings? Of whatever, but particularly statues if that counts? I usually have living beings as my subjects.

20. Something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy?

Ok, I hate this question, cause we are all good at different things. Maybe it’s just most of those I follow have different strengths than me???? But I guess if I had to pick, recreating from life(or picture) is a lot easier for me than some others(like making it life like/very accurate).

22. What physical exercises do you do before drawing?

Absolutely none, again don’t let the pros know cause damn. But I will do stretches or take breaks as needed.

Absolutely. Mostly for lighting and shading but yes, if I’m doing digital imma take advantage of it.

24. Do your references include stock images?

Yes? I don’t really understand what it’s asking?

25. Something your art has been compared to that you were not inspired by?

Idk? I don’t usually get feedback of that sort.

26. What’s a piece that’s viewed a wildly different interpretation from what you intended?

Again idk? I guess my shit is straight forward?

27. Do you warm up before getting to the good stuff?

Almost never, again don’t let the pros know lol I do sometimes jump between pieces or start a new sketch before going to something farther along.

28. Any art events you have participated in, like zines?

Nope, wanted to and have tried before but I tend to NOT do something if I feel pressured to do it.

29. Media you love but doesn’t inspire you artistically?

Again I feel like this is a weird question or maybe it’s just my understanding of it but I can feel inspiration from all sort of artist shit even if it’s something I’ll never do(ex making a crochet animal or dioramas). I guess I can feel inspired to create from other creators even if it’s not direct inspiration/subject/medium.

30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated?

Underrated as in no one has seen aside from a few people irl would be my colored pencil pieces I did during afternoon naps when I worked at a daycare a few years ago.

The beast the creature xe is one of my favorite designs I’ve made I just love he. Such a freak of a cat I adore them.

-Just a mix of wacky mutations. He has four ears, two tails, a extra eye over their main one. Xer is also a chimera explaining both his colors and their mix of long and short fur

-My favorite idea of all time is just diety/god sol that goes around and manifests purely to cause chaos wherever he settles. That’s the main idea for SFTS Au

-Always imaged xer as being a mostly black cat with red tabby markings so that’s what I stuck with and I made sure to give him a lion mane (and Wittle teefs)

-Hc them as completely unlabeled. Xer has no gender and all of the gender at the same time, and the lovers he has taken vary. Tho he does lean towards masculine cats (you can call them gay he agrees with that label)

-I LOVE Blackstar and Sol I think they are one of my faves just for how stupid and goofy they are together. Blackstar just giving his whole life and clan up for this handsome stranger who asked for it, best dynamic of all time

(ID- Sol is a fluffy and sleek, tall calico cat with two tails and four ears. He is standing to the left their paws together, xer is facing slightly to the left and his eyes to the camera. The larger eye is golden with a dark red sclera and the smaller one blue with bright inside and deep blue outside, fangs poke out of their smile and his top ears are raised with the others hanging over. Xer is mostly black with cream on his mane, muzzle, inner ear fluff, back front leg, front foot, front hind leg, and around his top tail. Ginger patches are all across their body particularly in two rings over his face, ring on xers back, front foot, ear tips. Ref stripes are on each ginger patch. I couldn't find a transmasc butch flag, so i combined the these three flags in different ways. Which do yall like more?

1: blue transmasc and butch (too much like angled aroace tho)

3: kind of a sunset mix of all three, I'll call it sunset transmasc butch (ik sunset butch already exists)

4: blue transmasc and butch but mixed more (i swear I've seen this one before)

5: all three, lighter than number 1, (my fave lmao, looks similar to the lesbian flag but with some transmasc vibes)

If u couldn't tell from Devon Aoki... le only Chanel muse that isn't lowkey insufferable (sorry).
