hi!! i hope you’re doing well!
i wanted to ask, have you ever heard of Vintage Story? it’s a bit like Minecraft in that it’s a resource harvesting/block based game, but that’s where the similarities end for the most part!
in the base game, it has metalworking and ore refining, mushroom foraging (and regular foraging in general), realistic biomes & temperature distribution, micro blocks and chiseling, clay working, realistic farming, grain grinding and bread baking with different grains, fermenting, the list goes on and on!
it’s one of my favorite games, it has so many amazing features and little things, you can easily get lost in it for hours!
i hope you have a good day!!
i had to dig for this ask because it took me so long to get around to checking it out, but i can confirm now that vintage story is woooonderful and fulfills my wiki-reading survival-game-obssesed blocky autism PERFECTLY
the active modding community is a also a Huge draw. i've got myself a lil kobold that i've already started giving lore :]

I think it would actually be really funny if Danny and Billy had opposite problems.
So I've always had a head canon that ghosts born from people dying don't age, but since Danny is still technically alive, his human form would continue to get older while his ghost form remains stagnant as a teenager.
This is fine for Danny since it hides his identity better, but it does have the side effect of making him look like a child, which is fine because Danny's perfectly secure in being a little goofy to play up his hero persona of a dead teenager. So Danny's like 30 something but as Phantom he's like "yeah I'm totally 14 or whatever."
Meanwhile there's Billy the 9 year old masquerading as an immortal demigod who's way to OP.
Therefore, when he meets Phantom he's like "oh wow another kid with super crazy powers and no adult hero mentor. We should be friends."
And it goes from there.

when i first played pokemon conquest i really loved it, but i couldn't help but wish there was more emphasis on the relationships between the different characters. later on i discovered fire emblem awakening and my god, the way it took everything i loved about conquest and dialed character relationships up to an 11 truly captivated me and i haven't been the same since

guys guys guys
new game
(im really churning these out. yes they are getting shorter. yes im sorry.)
this one has a similar ask and response format as the last one
so
instead of 2nd person
basically
text sections are the narrator, question responses are. your response. i hope that makes enough sense
if you have any questions or thoughts feel free to send an ask :3

Yk it kinda sucks that in some dialogues the characters seem to lose their individuality (? If that is the right term.) Like with the scene at the end of chapter 2 - I coupled up with Jin so Jack (out of nowhere) said that we don't work as a couple. If you choose to couple up with Oakley on the other hand, it's JIN who says that. Which is like???? It takes away the credibility of them as characters because it's not what THEY would say in that instance but rather what the GAME needs to be said to drive the plot.
Like I get that in those instances it would be either Jack or Jin who get jealous and start doing some bs, but it doesn't make sense to have them say THE EXACT SAME THING because they are different people and I feel like they would respond differently in that situation. Am i making sense here???
