Yuuki and Orpheus, but they are the kids of Marinette and Adrien. (Yuulia and Otto too)

Yuulia was planned, Yuuki was planned as well, Orpheus just spontaneously got adopted and Otto was not planned at first but like... Once the news are in, everyone is acting like this was planned for years.

Marinette is a successful fashion designer and Adrien is both her personal model and a modest baker. This man LOVES to bake. It's his passion and his wife makes him personalised aprons or work uniform.

Yuulia showed interest in baking, so the bakery has a heir. U-Ub

Orpheus is a fashion guru on his own. Man would be out for BLOOD if he ever catches his siblings in something less than fashionable. So Marinette knows that at least that passion was definitely inherited from her.

Yuuki... Well... Yuuki is definitely the more feral out of the 3, definitely took that from her father. But they are a fencing prodigy and a proud genderless pal who can rock crocs with socks as long as Orpheus doesn't catch wind of it. -3-;

They would also have loving grandparents. Like Sabine and Tom are very happy to see their house brimming with kids when the family is visiting. For Gabe... Dunno man, I'd say he had a redemption arc, but still the kids don't seem to be that fond of him. He tries to be a good parent and thankfully, Orpheus and Yuulia seem to be more open about it. (Yuuki is just too chaotic to handle for Gabriel)

There is also Uncle Felix from London who shows the kids how to do crimes party tricks! He's the chill uncle. Aunt Kagami is also super cool and teaches the kids fencing. (although at first she almost dropped each of them when they were little. Her kid holding privileges were revoked)

Now for the miraculous repartition~

I'm going to say, like in my MLB mild au series on Ao3, that the ladybug could only fix damage inflicted by the holder, while the cat can break all the curses/power effects inflicted by another Miraculous. They both can purify in here tho. That way both are not overpowering each other.

Of course, Yuulia was at first the ladybug holder, but she had to attend college in another state this year, so she had to revoke the position. She has the horse miraculous instead(in the comic I drew her with glasses, so I guess it's a pretty neat fir) She sometimes has spontaneous visits, or steals some baked goods. :'3

Next in line were the 'twins'. Yuuki was absolutely a perfect fit for Plag. And while Orpheus was a more indirect fighter, Mari felt like he needed to work a bit on his confidence. Still he was called Ortho by his family, more as a nickname. So he gets the ladybug miraculous. He's at least smart enough to not throw the lucky charm in the enemy's face (Yuulia, we looking at u) But, with the new persona he is indeed more confident. He has a few times where that confidence is easily tared down, but ya know, great! :3

In here, the butterfly and peacock are both fixed and in the box, so the villains this time are either petty criminals or other miraculous holders from another boxes. As such there could be a similar one to the butterfly, or different ones who just heard about the Paris shenanigans and of course, wanted more power.

Here's also when we get our fav trope: the Isekai. :3

Of course, it's via a mirror, not a villain. And it's in the Dupon-Cheng-Agreste (you choose) House, so like both the parents are absolutely terrified since their 2 kids just started high-school and they were kidnapped by a magic mirror, with the miracle box to boot.

Cue waking up in coffins. The first instinct was to transform, of course Yuuki desintegrating their coffin lid while Orpheus had his blown by Grim.

Watch Grim go to surprise when he gets caught in a yo-yo and 2 masked people in wierd costumes are literally talking where the 'possessed object is' or things in between.

But Grim gets free, so we still get that epic chase. Crowley intervents and he gets slapped with a stick in the face! Yay! :D

Since they were throughly reached by their parents, timer wasn't really a problem for the 2. What was a problem instead, was the fact that they had to keep with them the miracle box. (stuffed in Yuuki's special pockets, ofc) And with Grim breaking havoc, it was really REALLY hard to not pull the dragon miraculous out and just put out the fire the easy way out. Nope! They had to be smart!

So Yuuki wacks the shit out of Grim. They get accidentally collared by Riddle and we're seconds away from waking the redhead too. :'3

Just a lot of back and forth and the mirror deciding that yep, these bitches magicless. (the miraculous magic was foreign and also concealing Orpheus's magic, so the mirror got fooled. :'3)

Cue prologue, but with a lot of unnecessary violence and Orpheus palm-facing all the way to the moon and back. Yay! The power of friendship and all that crap! :'D

For the school to easily understand that the hell is up with these 2 wierd students, it's lied around that the 2 wierd people from the entrance ceremony dissappeared and these 2 were just students that were unrepartisated. No one could remember ALL the mfs that were sorted that chaotic night, so they bought that up. Crowley is the only one who knows and uses that shit as blackmail. :'3

Oh and Adeuce at the mine incident in the prologue. Great! Their parents are gonna lose their shit! :')

Chapter 1 and Ace definitely brings up the possibility of using a miraculous against Riddle in the duel. Like PLEASE let them win against that shortie~

Both Yuuki and Ortho refuse, since they have magic, like go and figure it on their own. You actually have powers that are not influenced by a 1 time use or your skill in winging it. Plus you also have some great variety! Like DUDE-

1 overBlot later and Yuuki with Orpheus's alter egos make it through the rumors as NRC's masked heroes. So great everyone thinks it's someone that has magic and not these 2 magicless dumbasses that absolutely hyped each other to snort rose paint. (Yuuki ended up in the infirmary, but for those 50 madols from their already shared allocation, it was worth it)

Chapter 2 has Orpheus racking his brain SO MUCH over the incidents. Like he's all over this and having a whole whiteboard like in that meme with the nuts dude.

Meanwhile Yuuki just stumbles upon a convo in between Ruggie and some savanaclaw students who know what's up and as such figured out the whole goddamn thing. But it's fun watching Orpheus feret about it so much. :'3

In the end, Yuuki is hanged up from the ceiling by the ladybug Yo-yo. :'v

Chapter 3 and we get the aqua potions introduced! Along with the fox miraculous, used by Orpheus to make them invisible and sneak in the museum without the twins spotting them. Just to be safe, Adeuce, Grim and Jack were used as sacrifice lambs. :'3

In the Azul battle, we also get Yuuki with the Ox, just to mess with him. Get hammered! >:3

Chapter 4 has Yuuki and Orpheus wishing they had the horse miraculous. But unfortunately, Yuulia still has it with her, back in America.

But, this time, we get the dragon entering through! Mostly to escape.

Then we have overBlot Jamil! The big reveal of his schemes and the betrayal that has Kalim in shambles.

And we get the butterfly this time. Wielded by Orpheus, while Yuuki got the rooster, using it so they could all get faster back. Orpheus used the butterfly to try and resonate with Kalim and turn his negative feelings into power and the hope to save Jamil and fix the situation.

Anyway we punch Jamil in the face! Yay! :D

Book is is a book that for the majority of time Orpheus has his dramatic couch moment because how come Adeuce surpass him in his specialty(dance)?! Yuuki was great at fencing, while Yuulia did have a few medals in gymnastics.

In this book, it is revealed that Orpheus was a prodigy in competitive dancing. More like Yuuki telling to Grim why her lil brother is weeping like a primadona on the dorm couch. He's doing this for the drama at this point. Let him have it. :'3

In here it's also revealed that the Dupan-Cheng and Bourgeois rivalry is still alive and kicking. Chloé happened to have twins the same age as Yuuki and Orpheus. And while the mothers were now on actually good terms, leaving all that petty bartender aside like adults, the kids? Hooo Boi, the kids are a whole different story. The Bourgeois twins are the main bullies for Orpheus, while Yuuki is their natural enemy. It's not like Orpheus doesn't rile them up as well. Adrien was called one day to the principal office in middle school because Yuuki bit one of the twins, while the other twin put gum in Orpheus's hair. Oh, Chloé had a laughing fest while Adrien profusely apologised for the misunderstanding.

So the overBlot happens... :3

And also Yuuki reveals that their friend, horni boi, was actually THE Malleus Draconia.

NRC lose to one vote for RSA and despite all the expectations, Orpheus punches first the French He-man. Yuuki is very proud. -w-

Chapter 6 comes and by this point Orpheus knew he could do magic without a miraculous. But still... He opted to follow Rook with the miraculous on, much like Yuuki. Epel thought it was absolutely awesome that the 2 NRC heroes are partnered up with him in order to catch the blonde generic IKEA lamp hair guy. :3c

Oh, Orpheus is not ready for the following bandwagon. One thing that happens to the miraculouses due to his young age, but still very intensive control, is that when Orpheus loses his cool completely, his timer gets activated if he used his special power. Which he did, when Charons attacked them on the ice then.

So as the deemed 'leader' of the group and also as Orpheus had his full fire hair when using the miraculous, Idia reserves some extra talk to him, which he would've loved to, but right now it's absolutely the worst moment. :'3

Yep... Idia also finds out. The lil secret. And Orpheus is trying to handle the whole 'congrats, you're actually from a cursed family that is controlling the magic FBI'. Like it was fucked up on so many layers and poor Orpheus had a very hard time coming around it.

Thankfully, in here, there is Tikki as a mediator, so Idia has a far more gentle approach upon everything. It helps a lot with calming down both parts and just trying to function and both wrap their heads around the whole situation.

Meanwhile our dear bby Ortho is trying to cause an apocalypse. Ya know... Just a tiny bit of crime. :3

So, of course, this prompts Orpheus to bring again the butterfly miraculous. But this time, he trusts Idia with it. It was a bit of a mental gymnastics, but ya know, there had to be someone who kept all the tower teams interconnected. Orpheus promises to just be a guide through this, but he also needs to use the ladybug miraculous if they wanted less of a damage to be done.

Meanwhile Yuuki is strangling phantoms. What a fun Sunday activity! :3

So we have this time an epic team of akumas fighting the Phanthom titans. Like don't tell me that doesn't sound cool! :v

After that, Idia does return the miraculous, but wants just to catch up with Orpheus and both of them to try and figure all of this out. Still, Orpheus had to go to NRC and Ortho had to be rebuild.

Cue after the whole thing is over, the 3 Shroud Bois trying to catch up with one another. Yuuki is also included since siblings are siblings (plus if any of the 2 hurt Orpheus, they are getting yeeted into the sun)

And for book 7... Mmmm I'll go with the whole separation route. Like Yuuki and Idia are caught in the dream world whole Orpheus and Ortho need to go to STIX and figure how to punt Malleus faster. :3

Ok, so after several months of radio silence, it was time for me to come back to work and post one of my “fic of the month”, but since I literally read everything Miraculous Ladybug written by Sailor/TsukiChibi, I decided to make an author special. This is my first one; the template may change with time.

As I’m writing this, Chibi has 76 works on her AO3 for the Miraculous Ladybug fandom. She has also many fics related to the MCU, Sherlock TV series and Supernatural. Kudos for so much inspiration!

Warning: Long post ahead!

Her fics are ALL worth reading, but here are some of my favorites:

Duststorm: Words:2960 - Chapters:1/1 Summary: Sandboy shows Ladybug one of her worst nightmares. It affects Ladybug far more than she would've expected, and Chat Noir is doing no better.

What I liked: The emotional comfort, The way Ladybug’s resolution to keep their identities secret is just thrown through the window

Black and White and Red All Over: Words:5222 - Chapters:1/1 Summary: Ladybug didn't know that Chat Noir had a sibling. She finds out in the worst way possible.

What I liked: Chat Noir not being Chat Blanc, Adrien having a sibling, Bridgette’s cameo, an akuma with enough control to team up with Ladybug

Shared Characteristics: Words:2895 - Chapters:1/1 Summary :Out of all the things Nino and Alya could've inherited from their kwamis, it would be a heat.

What I liked: DJWifi and the fun factor, really. Imagining them in heat and how they deal with it is just hilarious.

Miraculous Online:  Words:2619 - Chapters:1/1 Summary: What do you do when you're freed after having been trapped inside of an online game for over two years? Adrien finds his partner.

What I liked: It made me watch Sword Art Online and, re-reading it after, I could even more appreciate the fic!

Tripped at Fencing:  Words:5326 - Chapters:1/1 Summary: Of the all the ways for Ladybug to figure out his identity, Adrien never thought it would be because his father had slapped him.

What I liked: The hurt to comfort and Gabriel A+ parenting. Seriously, this is a sweet fic where you just want to give Adrien a hug or adopt him.

Kitten-ing Around: Words:959 - Chapters:1/1 Summary: Chat had a bad habit of making too many puns. Ladybug had a bad habit of pushing him off rooftops. Technically, that meant they were both to blame.

What I liked: the easy reveal. There’s no drama, no fight, just kids kitten-ing around and messing up their secret identities.

Miraculous Hive (series):  Works:5 - Complete: No Summary:  Following Chameleon, Chloe figures out who Ladybug and Chat Noir. Her bee instincts then set off a chain of events that change everything.

What I liked: Chloe POV (I haven’t read a lot of fics written from another POV outside of Adrien’s and Marinette’s) and Chloe’s redemption. I’m pro Chloe’s redemption. She’s just a kid who does what she does because of the way she has been brought to see the world (contrarily to Lila who’s genuinely bad imo)

And I’d give up Forever: Words:26829 - Chapters:13/13 Summary: Marinette and Adrien were hiding out in a motel room. Paris knew they were Ladybug and Chat Noir and hated them, and they in turn knew that Gabriel was Hawkmoth. This is one situation that they can't fix alone.

What I liked: I actually dreaded to read this one. I was trying to avoid angsty fics, but the summary about “Paris hating them” made me think they hated them for, idk, being bad at what they do. I was relieved when I understood this was caused by an akuma. The hurt to comfort, the fight against Hakwmoth and how Marinette and Adrien end up so attached to each other made me love this fic.

The Butterfly Effect:  Words:22632 - Chapters:8/8 Summary: When Hawkmoth wins and wishes for a new timeline where Emilie Agreste is alive, Marinette and Adrien are the only other ones who remember everything about the old timeline. But Ladybug and Chat Noir don't know each other's identities, and coming together to beat Hawkmoth once and for all may not be as easy as it seems.

What I liked: Adrien seeing his mother again (and finally having the chance to say properly goodbye to her), Marinette’s proof of love for Adrien by giving him the chance to keep his mother, and when Marinette and Adrien find each other. Reading Adrien snapping at his overworked life was nice too :) He needs vacations...

Guess Who:  Words:13142 - Chapters:31/31 Summary: Marinette thought a Halloween party with her friends would be fun. That was before someone died. In this choose your own ending story, can you help Marinette make it to the end alive? Reader beware... you’re in for a scare!

What I liked: Where do I actually start?! This fic is a crack and is so fun to read. It’s in the format “Choose Your Own Adventure”. I read it on my phone, set on “Chapter by Chapter” and the links from a chapter to another makes it like a RPG. I was reading it during my breaks at work and just couldn’t stop thinking about it, about who was guilty. I actually guessed right and couldn’t stop laughing.

Fruitful (series):  Works:3 - Complete: Yes Summary:  Adrien and Marinette are telepathic soulmates. That’s not always a good thing, but neither of them would give up their deep bond for anything.

What I liked: I love soulmate AUs, Marinette being there for Adrien when he’s alone, how losing the other affects them, Chloe playing the game for their sake

By my Side (When the Rain Comes Pouring in): Words:81938 - Chapters:28/28 Summary: Two years after Marinette got her miraculous, she meets Adrien Agreste for the first time. In spite of an initial gum-related bump in the road, they become fast friends thanks to their shared interest in fashion and design. But there's something funny about Adrien. He seems to suffer from terminal clumsiness just like Marinette, frequently sporting sprained wrists and ankles, new bruises, and other injuries. Injuries which look suspiciously similar to the ones that Ladybug's beloved partner has...

What I liked: Adrien’s heartbreaking situation at home, Hawkmoth’s reveal, Marinette and Plagg’s complicity

Wings of Broken White - Ch. 1

[ Summary:  Wings are commonplace in the world, but, some people who have them, also lose them. So how did this miraculous duo get theirs back? ]

Gabriel watched over his young sleeping son, contemplating his decision as the melancholic rain tapped against the outside of the windows.

He could feel the sorrow, heartbreak, and confusion radiating from Adrien even as he slept, each one causing him to curl up tight and his face scrunch in pain. The beautiful wings on his back, black with each feather tipped in white like a starling's and still riddled with fluffy down-feathers, twitching with tension and anxiety. The recent news of his Mother’s disappearance had all these emotions still raw and un-soothed, something no seven year old child should ever have to endure.

Those horrible feelings, rather than deterring Gabriel, only strengthened his resolve.

The Graham de Vanily wedding band slid easily off of Gabriel’s finger, and as he clutched it in his hand, he called out for the first time in a long while, “Nooroo.. Wings Rise.”

His suit was colored in gentle lavender and soft silver details. It still looked as beautiful as the day Emilie said it made him look like a prince and inspired the name, Monarch.

The wedding band was carefully slipped onto Adrien’s finger, too big for his still young hands. But his hand clenched as it was put in place, like he had just been given a drowner’s lifeline.

Monarch then went to the window and crashed it open, summoning a little white butterfly from outside to land in his open palm. Covering it, he silently commanded for his magic to imbue into the little creature. When it was revealed once more, it’s colors now reflected his own silver and lavender. He then reapproached his son’s bedside.

It felt off, using a Blessing, imbued with positive emotions, on someone who wasn’t feeling any of the necessary feelings, only dark ones. But Monarch dismissed the concern in favor of his goal.

Gently, he set the Blessing onto the ring on Adrien’s finger and it disappeared into it.

He could feel the conflict between the good emotions inside the Blessing and the bad ones festering inside of Adrien. But the good seemed to win out as suddenly the boy was relaxing into his sheets, and his body was cocooned in glowing lavender ribbons.

When the lavender light dispersed, there was someone a little different left in Adrien’s place. This boy had hair white as snow, and when his eyes slightly fluttered and then closed again, Monarch saw glacial blue instead of spring green. Another glance revealed that the beautiful dark wings of Adrien were nowhere to be seen, not even a feather left behind.

“White Rose,” Monarch whispered, the flicker of a lavender butterfly outline hovering before his Champion’s face. “You have a desire to see your Mother again, and make your Father happy like he once was. No one should suffer because of something that was meant for good but had been broken and only caused pain. So I give you the power to save those who have been harmed by that broken item, and restore what is meant to be.”

A beat of silence and another fluttering of blue eyes, but White Rose did not stir.

The outline flickered again, and then it was gone like a popped fuse.

Monarch, confused, tried to establish the connection when he felt it fizzle out. But he received nothing. Worried, he reached out to the Blessing directly and tried to pull at it. It didn’t budge, instead, it seemed to fight back. Pain split through Monarch’s head and he gasped, stumbling back.

He had lost connection and control to his own Blessing and Champion.

Monarch realized now why he shouldn't have mixed his magic with the darker emotions that were not meant to be touched by the light of a Blessing. He was uncertain he would be able to retrieve the Blessing at all now, not without breaking the ring he held dearly.

So instead, he gently opened White Rose’s hand and pulled the Graham de Vanily ring from his finger.

“Wings Fall, Nooroo.” As soon as Gabriel was back to himself, he slid the ring back onto his own finger. “I will keep this safe for you, Adrien, until you are ready.” He turned to walk away before pausing, glancing back with sympathy and regret.

“Please be okay. I can’t lose you, too.”

Marinette was born with small fluffy wings on her back. Tom Dupain and Sabine Cheng were wing-less, so it was reasonable that they were taken by surprise when their child inherited genes they themselves had not.

Tom liked to call her their little croissant because her soft fledgling wings held the golden-browned color of baked bread. Sabine told him it wouldn't stick, and they had no clue what color her mature feathers would take on. And Marinette’s mother was correct.

As their daughter grew, so too did her wings. The soft baked gold greyed and the soft down was slowly covered by sleek feathers. Soon enough her wingspan became larger, almost outdoing her own height from wingtip to wingtip.

It wasn’t until she was eight, when her wings were finally mature enough for flight, that Tom and Sabine were able to say for certain where her wings had come from in the family tree.

“She’s going to have the wingspan of a Common Crane like your mother,” Sabine chuckled as she watched little Marinette squeak as she fumbled to catch a stack of trays she knocked off a shelf with her wings.

“Yes, she is a marvelous little Crane, isn’t she?” Tom chuckled. “She already has that beautiful grey ombre of a Demoiselle like your great-Grandmother.”

“You're right! She even has those lovely and decoratively long tertiary feathers, too.”

“I thought only boy birds had fancy feathers,” Tom teased his wife.

She elbowed him gently and laughed. “You already know it’s disproved that humans don’t follow the same patterns as birds, Tom, we never have. Anyone can find beauty in another’s feathers.”

“Or lack of,” he adds on, kissing his wife atop her head and causing her to nod and laugh.

Marinette continued to grow, wings and all. When she was nine, she found a new passion in knitting, crochet, embroidery, and sewing. She had loved to draw since she was a toddler, but these new crafts allowed her to bring her imagination to life.

At ten, she purchased her first magazine. The cover featured a white haired and wingless boy her own age, the article titled: `For the FIRST TIME EVER, the public eye meets the MUSE and SON of Gabriel Agreste!’

Tom and Sabine got a good laugh out of the fact that she completely ignored the boy and the article, “She hasn’t hit a boy-crazy faze, thank goodness,” and instead only looked at the fashion and design related pages.

Unfortunately, they also would later witnessed Marinette begin to go through some social rough patches as well, and she vented it through her creations. Something she had meant to show off turned into a source of bullying on her very first day of secondary school, collège, when she was eleven. Marinette had been researching and learning fashion’s history around wings. She learned that higher beauty standards from the upper social classes meant that some people would often bind their wings as a way to keep their postures straight and elegant. She also learned there were ways to hide one’s wings below their clothing, techniques differing from wing-type to wing-type and body-type to body-type.

So during the summer break after her last day of primary school, preparing herself for her first days of secondary school, Marinette set out to make a wing-binder for herself. She succeeded in making two different types in her multiple attempts.

The first one she made was a simple netting, a style and technique that had been around for thousands of years. The netting was intended to slide underneath and between the feathers to rest perfectly out of sight. It’s use ranged from simple posture enhancement, to flight prevention in those who might injure themselves if they tried to fly when they were not ready.

The second type she made was actually more of a corset style, as it would wrap around the torso as well, not just the wings themselves. This style was one intended for hiding wings completely from sight, with the assistance of the proper style of clothing to layer over it. She had made two of this type, one each for two different ways to hide the wings.

The first was basic and classic, her wings meant to be held tight against her back with the ends of her wingtips made to drop down to the back of her legs. This one was best suited to be paired with tight shirts, loose pants, and an over-shirt, shawl, or jacket.

The second was more lax but harder to keep in position for long amounts of time. Her wings were to be spread, dipping under her arms and either over her chest or under her bust, whichever was more comfortable and-or suited the binding’s cut. This style was best paired with a dress or a loose shirt and skirt.

Marinette wanted to wear one of the wing-corsets, hoping to see a few of her friends from primary school and surprise them with her new ability to change her appearance. Sabine and Tom supported her in her excitement. Wanting her to have a comfortable day, they suggested she use the style that wraps her wings around her, especially since it looked like it might rain, and her wings would keep her warm.

When she returned home for lunch, she seemed tired and a little wet from the weather, but happy. Marinette explained that the Mayor’s daughter herself attended Collège Françoise Dupont with her, and was excited to get to know her. She had also seen Nino, Alix, and Kim, but none of her other old friends. The three that were there had been surprised, though, so she was overjoyed to have gotten their reactions and awe. She even asked them to keep her wings a secret so she could surprise the rest of the class with them later.

When Marinette went back to school for the rest of the day, the Dupain-Cheng couple were happy for their daughter. But neither one knew the news of the Mayor’s child would turn out to be bad luck for their precious daughter and her beautiful wings.

Daminette/Maribat Fairy Tail Au Part 1

Marinette grew up in a world filled with magic

Although Marinette's own parents weren't wizards, but bakers, she inherited her Gramdfather Fu's magic, celestial magic

She was able to summon spirits to help her with the help of silver and gold gate keys

The silver gate keys are pretty common, as far as gate keys go

The gold keys were a lot more rare as there was only 12 of them

Marinette already had 3, Tikki spiritof creation, Plagg spirit of destruction and Wayzz spirit of protection

They were her Grandfather's keys and he passed them down to her when he retired.

She also had a magic yoyo gifted to her by Tikki after her Grandfather had given her Tikki's key when he started training her

So when Marinette turned 16 she decided to follow in her Grandfather's footsteps and join a boarding guild

She ended up joining the Miraculous Moth guild, a guild that had a large amount of members, but nothing like Justice League, who had almost half the amount of members, but was about 10x more powerful

Their guild stamp was a pointy looking moth

Marinette had decides to get hers on her left shoulder in red

The guild master was Gabriel Agreste

Nobody was really sure what type of magic he had, but there were always a new rumor floating around that said something different.

Some said he had transformation magic

Others said he had solid script magic

Few thought he had absolutely no magic at all

And het there was some who whispered that he was a celestial wizard

Marinette didn't give the rumors much thought

She was too busy getting to know her new guild mates

She made some great friends and even made up a team with Adrien (Gabriel's son), Alya, and Nino

They were a pretty good team

Adrien was an equip mage

He can summon different weapons and armor

Alya was a solid script mage

She can create create materials by writing words out in the air

And finally Nino was a sonic mage

He can produce and control sound waves and use it against enimies

They were called Team Adrien

Marinette joined their team a week after joining the guild

The three had already been a team before hand for a couple of years

So because of this Marinette felt like a stranger looking in sometimes

Either way they made a good team

Though they were a little destructive

Luckily for them Tikki can fix everything with her miraculous ladybug spell

They had a pretty good team for about a year than somebody new joined the guild

Her name was Lila Rossi and she was an illusionist mage

She claimed to be a great independent wizard and even was offered a spot at Justice League

She told stories about saving villages and people from evil wizards and monsters

Everybody was so amazed by her, but Marinette has her doubts

She couldn't explain it, but it was just a gut feeling, but Marinette tried to do her best to push that aside a welcome her with open arms

She even joined Team Adrien

And that's when stuff really went down hill for Marinette

Lila started to make sly remarks about Marinette and celestial wizards in general

Stuff like how she didn't really contribute to fights and instead just let her spirits do all the work

Even though Marinette fights whenever she can using her yoyo

Or how Marinette is the weakest on the team

Even though Marinette could now summon 2 spirits at once something most celestial spirits can't even dream of doing especially with golden keys

She tried to ignore it, but as time went on it hurt more and more

And when her friends started to join in she tried to change that

She started to try and cast star dress

Which would allow her to share her powers with her spirits

And gave her a cute outfit with that

Her team mates didn't seem to understand or appreciate her attempts to gain more strength

They started to leave her behind for missions

They cut her part of the rewards down claiming because she didn't do as much work as the rest if them so she doesn't deserves an equal amount of the reward

Sometimes they were just abandon her to finish a job by herself then demand their part of the reward even though Marinette did all the work

The final straw came after a very dangerous mission

They were going up against a dark wizard who was kidnapping young women and selling them them into the slave trade

They took the job because the reward money was ridiculous and a golden gate key

So the team decided to use Marinette as live bait

Because she would get such a great prize for the mission

Which she was okay with

And she was successful in luring him out and was going to fight him until she realized her yoyo was gone

She then checked her keys and they were gone too

Marinette panicked and tried to hold the dark wizard back the best she can while yelling for her teammates

They didn't show up

In a last ditch effort Marinette tried to use star dress magic

Marinette: STAR DRESS LADYBUG!

Marinette felt a rush of magic fall over her

It had work

She was now wearing a read flowie dress that fell a couple of inches above her knees with a black ribbon tied around her waist and black fingerless gloves

Her hair was now down with a red headband and black flats on her feet with a new red and black pock a dot yoyo

She used her new yoyo to tie the creep up and her team finally showed up

Marinette: WHERE WERE YOU GUYS AND WHO HAS MY KEYS?!?!

Alya: Chill girl Lila pointed out that the wizard wouldn't go after somebody with magic items on them so we just grabbed them before you left

Alya held out Marinette's keys and yoyo and Marinette snatched them out of her hands checking everything over

Marinette: THAT IS SOO STUPID!!! YOU GUYS ALMOST GOT ME KILLED OR WORST

Adrien: Calm down Marinette

Marinette: DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN!

Lila *tearing up*: Come on Marinette we weren't that far away

Marinette: I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT! I'M SO DONE WITH ALL OF YOU RIGHT NOW!

Alya: Stop being such bitch Marinette you're fine and look you finally did that stupid star dress thing you were trying to do

Nino: Yeah dudette if you're going to be like that maybe Lila should get that gate key instead of you.

Marinette just glared at the group and used Plagg to help her drag the wizard to the Grand Council gourds that were posted in the town

She dropped him off got the reward money and the gate key

It was the Key of Illusion Trixx

When her teammates asked where their shares were Marinette just glared at them again

The whole trip back was her team criticizing her about keeping the money for herself

Marinette remained silent during the whole ride back

When they got back to the guild Lila cried to anybody who would listen about how mean and selfish Marinette was for keeping the money

Marinette ignored her and walked up to Gabriel

Marinette: Sure I would like to resign from this guild

Gabriel: Are you sure Ms. Dupen-Cheng?

Marinette: Yes after today I don't feel welcomed her any more

Gabriel: Well it'll be a shame to lose a wizard with such assets. Are you sure about this?

Grabiel looked down at the keys rested on Marinette's hip before looking back at Marinette's eyes

Marinette: Yes I'm sure

Grabiel snapped his fingers and Natalie, his second in command, removes her guild mark

Marinette walked out of the guild receiving sneers and nasty remarks from her ex-guildmates

She walked out and never looked back

She went to her home town to live with her parents and help out with the backery

She needed a break from guilds and other wizards

So she and sometimes her spirits would help her parents out

Well Tikki, Wayzz and Trixx did Plagg mostly just ate all the cheese pastries

Marinette kept training though she even made it so she can do Dtar dress with Plagg and Wayzz

Her bound with Trixx wasn't strong enough to complete star dress with him yet

After a couple of months Marinette was walking through town when she bumped into 2 boys

Both boys had black hair and looked around the same age

But one had blue eyes and was paler than his partner whi had green eyes

Damian: Sorry miss but you'll have to come with use there's no time to lose

Damian grabbed Marinette's hands and continue running with his partner Jon

Marinette: What's going on?

Jon: We're wizards on a mission to stop a dark guild who's top members are currently chasing us, so we're trying to lead them away from the populated area to avoid casualties

Marinette: Okay there's a short cut to outside of town, This way!

Marinette pulled Damian down an alley with Jon following the 2

Marinette could hear the sounds of crashing at the entrance of the alley assuming it was the dark guild members

They burst out of the alley into the open field next to the town

They made it to the end of the field before they had to face the evil wizards

Marinette looked over the group of eight wizards

Each one looking tougher than the last

Damian: Get out of here miss we can take

Marinette: No way there are way to many people for the just the 2 of you

Jon: what can you do to help?

Hearing that lit a fire in Marinette

Marinette: This! Open gate of creation, Tikki!

Damian and Jon watch with surprise as Tikki appeared in front of them

Tikki: I'm here to help

Marinette: Tikki we're going against a team of dark wizards be ready for anything!

Damian: You're a cestial wizard?

Marinette: Yep and that's not all I can do. Star Dress Black Cat!

Marinette was surrounded by a bright light

When it faded she was wearing black combat boots with neon green thigh high socks

Black shorts with a neon green belt

And a black tank top with a hood attach that had cat ears on it, with the inside of the hood being neon green

Her hair was still in pigtails but now were resting in front of her shoulders

In her hands laid a bo staff

Damian in wonder and Jon a little scared: Wow

With Marinette's celestial magic, Jon's fire God-slaying magic, and Damian shadow dragon slaying magic they were able to take down the wizards with ease and soon all the dark wizards were capture

The group of teens handed over the wizards to the guards before they finally have a proper introduction

Marinette: I'm Marinette by the way, Marinette Dupen-Cheng.

Jon: Nice to meet you Marinette, I'm Jon Kent and this is my partner Damian Wayne

Damian grabbing Marinette's hand and kissing the back of it: It's a honor to meet such a powerful and kind wizard

Marinette blushing: O-oh I don't know about that, I'm not that powerful and anybody would have jumped in

Damian: I'm not so sure about that

Marinette ended up inviting the two back to the backery for a free lunch

They continue to talk just getting to know eachother

And a good amount of flirting went on between Marinette and Damian

They were laughing and joking around and Marinette felt like she gained something she lost when she left her team

They continue their conversation as they make it to the backery

Marinette introduces them to her maman and papa before taking them upstairs to make lunch for all of them

They continue to laugh and joke around and Damian insisted on helping Marinette cook

Jon: But you're an awful cook, you go around eating people's shadows before you cook.

Marinette: Eating shadows?

Damian *blushing*: Yes I'm a shadow dragon slayer, so when I get hungry I can eat shadows or darkness

Marinette: I thought all the dragon slayers were in the Justice League guild

Jon: Yeah that's our guild

Jon pulled down his shirt to show his blue guild mark which looked like a J and L put together with a star in the middle

Damian rolled up his sleeve to show his green guild mark on his left forearm

Marinette: You guys are a part of Justice League?!?! Oh no I must be holding you guys up! I'm so sorry!

Damian: Oh no, not at all! We're really not that busy! Right Jon

Damian gave Jon a pointed look as if it say not to upset the cestial mage

Jon: Right! We have plenty of time especially with the help you gave us today. We thought we would have to be here another week at least, thanks to you we can leave tomorrow

Marinette turning around to continue cooking: Well I'll be sorry to see you go

Damian grabbing Marinette and turning her around holding her by her shoulders: Then why don't you come with us? You said yourself you don't have a guild and you're way too talented just to stay here all your life

Marinette: I don't know I don't think I'm powerful enough to join Justice League

Damian: Are you crazy? You're more than powerful enough!

Jon jumping up: Yeah! And you can be apart of our team! If we stick together nothing can stand on our way!

Marinette still wasn't too sure until she felt her keys warm with encouragement from her spirits

Marinette: Okay I'll join you!

Damian and Jon smiled and Jon raised his hand for a high five, which Damian didn't reciprocate but Marinette did

Marinette turned back to continue cooking as Damian continue to pester her to help

Marinette finally relented and told him to chop the veggies

After lunch the two boys left for their hotel telling Marinette to meet them at the train station tomorrow at 11

That night Marinette told her parents her plans and they were over joyed for her

To them Marinette started to look like a cage bird staying in the bakery longing to spread her wings but start in a small cage

The next day Marinette packed up all her things and met the boys at the train station

The trip was long it felt even longer because poor Damian had motion sickness like all dragon slayers

At one point he ended up resting his head on Marinette's lap which seemed to help him a bit so Marinette's just let him stay there

As soon as the train stopped Damian perked up

They made it to the city of Gotham just in time for dinner

Jon dragged Damian and Marinette down the streets of Gotham determined to get her to join as soon as possible

Damian: Calm down Kent I want her to join just as badly as you do, but I don't think pulling her arm out of her socket will make her move any faster

Jon: I'm just so excited! Just wait until you meet everyone Marinette they'll love you! One of the guild master's mother was a celestial wizard like you, even owned Tikki before

Marinette: Guild Masters?

Damian: Yeah our guild instead of having only 1 master has 5. Because we have so many powerful members they felt it wouldn't be right for 1 person to have so much power, so instead we have 5

Marinette nodded her head in understanding

The rest of the walk to the guild was filled with Jon's babbling about Justice League and what Marinette could expect

When they made it to the front of the guild hall Marinette froze

All the bad memories from her old guild came flooding back

And with that all her worries about being accept came back with

Marinette was spiralling until she felt another hand engulf her smaller one

Marinette looked up to see Damian with a soft look on his face

Damian: Don't worry Angel you'll be great, and no matter what you'll have me and Jon right by your side

Marinette blushed at Damian's nickname for her looking over at Jon when she feels him take her other hand

Jon: He's right Mari you have us, no matter what

Marinette smiled squeezing the boys' hands before letting go of Jon's, but keeping a hold on Damian's hand

Not that he minded or planned on letting her hand go either

They opened the doors to the guild and found utter choas

There seemed to be some sort of brawl going on among the younger members

The guild hall was two stories and as Marinette looked up on the second floor she can see the older members of the guild calmly eating and chatting ignoring the antics of the younger members

Marinette stared as Damian and Jon maneuvered her around the guild pulling her down to avoid the bodies being thrown and Damian lifted her up to avoid one of the guild members who were sent skidding along the floor

They finally made it the bar area were Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, and Diana Prince stood watching the choas

Damian: Hello Father I have brought a new wizard to join the guild

Dick from across the guild: WHAT?!?!

Tim from another part of the guild: DAMIAN BROUGHT A GIRL HOME!

The members cheered and Marinette and Damian stuttered saying it wasn't like that

But it was too late Damian got pulled into the chaos by his brother loudly protesting and somehow joining in the brawl

Bruce sighed: So you wish to join Justice League Ms...

Marinette: Marinette, Marinette Dupen-Cheng

Jon talking to Clark: And she's really powerful dad, she helped us take down that dark guild we were sent to stop

Diana: And what magic do you wield little one?

Marinette: I'm a celestial wizard and I can also preform star dress with some of my spirits

Diana impressed: And what keys to you have?

Marinette: I have a few silver one, the clock and the cross, and I have 4 golden keys, Tikki, Plagg, Wayzz, and Trixx. I can do star dress with all of the gold ones except Trixx out bond isn't strong enough yet.

Diana: That's very impressive. You know my mother used to hold Tikki's key before she retired and gave it to her dear friend Fu Cheng

Marinette smiling: He's my grandfather, sadly he passed a couple of years back.

Diana: I'm sorry to here about your lost, but if Fu entrusted you with Tikki and his other spirits you must be a powerful wizard. I vote we let her join

Marinette: Thank you

Clark: If my son says she's worthy that's all I need, I say yes to

The two guild masters looked over to Bruce waiting for his answer

Bruce: I can sense a large amount of magic and magic potential in you. It's a yes from me to, and since that makes a majority we are pleased to welcome you into Justice League. As soon as Damian escapes his brothers he can help give you a guild mark

Marinette looked around scanning for Damian giggling when she finds him in a tousle with 3 other boys who she assumes are his brothers

Dick was holding Damian in a headlock as Damian clung to Tim's back pulling his hair as Tim tried to pin Jason to the floor as Jason tried to pull Dick down with him

Jon laughing with her: Yeah those are our dragon slayers. You of course know Damian. Dick is the one putting him in the headlock, he's a light dragon slayer and a great acrobat. Damian probably gets along the best with him out of all his brothers. The boy who's getting his haired pulled out by Damian is Tim he's a lighting dragon slayer, but can also do solid script magic and barely sleeps. I swear one time I saw him eat straight coffee beans. Finally the boy with white streak in his hair trying to pull Dick down with him is Jason. He's a metal dragon slayer who prefers to use his magic to make weapons. He's the only one of the brothers who isn't on a specific team. He usually just tags along with whatever team he feels like or goes on solo missions.

Damian sensing Marinette staring at him looks towards her blushing

He shakes his brothers off him trying to make his way over to Marinette only to be stop by Jason

Jason grabbing Damian's waist: wait a moment Demon Spawn we're not done with you yet!

Damian thrashing around: Release me Todd!

Tim messing with Damian's hair: Aww are we embarrassing you in front of you girlfriend?

Damian: stop it Drake!

Dick stepping in: All right guys that's enough we don't want to ruin Hatchlings (a/n: Get it because they're dragon slayers) chances with his girlfriend

Damian finally breaks away from his brothers rushing over to Marinette and Jon

Damian: Sorry about that my brothers are idiots. How did it go?

Marinette: They said I could join, Mr. Wayne said you could help me with my guild mark

Damian: Of course come with me

Damian grabbed Marinette's hand pulling her towards a side room as Jon went to go talk to his brother Connor

Marinette decided to get a pink guild mark on the top of her right hand

Marinette seemed to fit right in with the rest of the guild

There was no adjustment period like with her old guild she seemed to be able to join in right away

She learned when a brawl was about to start up and how to avoid flung guildmates

Though Damian still insisted on lifting her over skidding bodies

She and Diana formed a close bound that started with Diana telling her stories about her mother and Tikki and it evolved in a mentor/mentee relationship

Marinette also joined Damian Nd Jon's team helping keep them focus on missions and stop the few fights that broke out between them

Sometimes Damian's brothers would "kidnap" Marinette to go on missions with them which usually lead to Damian running after them and Jon following Damian

Marinette became close friends with Dick's girlfriend Kori, Barabra, and Stephanie

They would sometimes go on girl only missions together

When they return they would often find Dick, Tim, and Damian sulking that they were left behind

That's the end of part 1, I hate to do this to you guys, but I learned there is a limited to dots and it's 250. I'll do a part 2 soon because there is still more to tell. Part 2

“Good afternoon, Master Fu.” Marinette greets and bows.

Her mother had raised her very well and thank you.

"Good afternoon, Marinette." The man smiles. "It's good to see you, although I don't think this is an informal visit."

"And you're right." She sits on the mat, Tikki takes the opportunity to escape from the bag.

“We have important information for you.” The kwami says.

Fu's smile becomes smarter.

“I think I'll make some tea to accompany this conversation.

"Interesting." The man mutters, his hands scratching at the gray goatee.

"But you should have brought the book!" Wayzz exclaims.

Marinette knows she shouldn't be annoyed at such a powerful entity, but she can't stop the small fire burning in her chest.

She had already explained it twice. Twice. The reason for not taking Adrien's book and rushing to the Guardian with it, but the little green kwami didn't seem to want to understand.

Well, her parents said age wasn't the same as wisdom. She believed that was the proof of that.

“Wayzz, Marinette has already explained why she didn't do that. Are you even listening to what we're saying?!” Tikki scolds.

He looks at both of them, frowning firmly.

"For all I know, she may well be acting for selfish reasons." Says petulantly. "Not letting the boy she likes in a worse deal with his father."

Marinette's patience breaks.

“Wayzz-“ Master Fu tries, but she cuts the man.

 “I didn't do anything for the supposed boys I like.” Sharp as a scalpel “Have you ever stopped to think that if Gabriel Agreste is Hawkmoth, he might try to escape after discovering that the book is missing ?!” Growls through gritted teeth.

Wayzz seems skeptical at first, but soon his expression withers to regret.

"I-I"

“Alright, Wayzz. Everyone makes mistakes.” Fu intervenes. “But I really wish I could have seen this book. If it's the book I think of, then it's likely Gabriel also has the peacock's miraculous.” He sighs.

It seemed that things were getting more serious.

Marinette took her backpack off her back, opened it, and pulled out an obviously customized black tablet.

An insignia with two overlapping golden R's graced the cover.

“Here.” She reaches out to the man.

"Marinette thought of everything, Master!" Tikki says excitedly as she flies over their heads.

“And that would be?” The green kwami asks suspiciously.

"... The miraculous grimoire." Fu sighs in surprise as he flips through the virtual pages.

“How did you get this done in such a short time?” Asks to the girl.

"Tim." She says simple.

"Oh, the Red Robin boy." He turns off the tablet. "Tell him I really appreciate that."

Marinette smiles.

"Sure. Now I have to go. A friend of mine awaits me.” She gets up, Tikki goes back to hiding in her bag.

“See you, Master, Wayzz!” She squeaks.

“Marinette, Tikki.” Fu tilts his head in respect.

"Bye, bye." Wayzz.

“Bye guys.” Marinette nods and leaves the massage parlor.

Now she had to run or Kim would kill her.

When she arrives at school, Kim is waiting for her at the entrance. He has two paper bags in his hand, the Dupain-Cheng bakery logo stamped on them.

“Sorry, Kimmy. Tim called me needing my help with something.” She says, her voice coming out slightly unsteady from running the streets of Paris to school.

Kim raises an eyebrow suspiciously. He knew Mari and the Waynes were hiding something from him, but he never forced Marinette to tell because he appreciated their friendship.

And he knew that one hour Marinette would tell him. Then Kim would be the best friend she needed and would wait patiently.

He extends one of the paper bags to the girl and softens the expression.

"All right. At least you arrived with plenty of time to eat.”

Marinette takes the bag, her guilty face melting into a huge smile.

“Thank you, Kimmy! You are the best."

Kim heaves his chest in pride.

"Of course, I am."

He waits until Marinette was by his side to throw his arm over her shoulder, a dangerous smile on his lips. A smile the brunette would recognize even in the dark.

A competitive smile.

"Let's go now. I bet you can't eat everything before the bell rings.”

She narrows her eyes, countering her friend's challenge.

"Well, I bet I can."

Tikki laughs from inside the bag.

She loved when her chosen acted according to her age.

Mari wins the bet, but soon regrets. She can barely breathe under the weight of her stomach.

She almost throws up, but Kim is there to save the day.

Once again.

"... And then Jagged Stone wrote a song in my honor." Lila tells.

She was surrounded by Ms. Bustier's class when Marinette and Kim entered the classroom.

Her nose high, haughty like royalty and the others excited about her story.

Marinette notices that Adrien is sitting in the back row of the right corner, alone. Probably wanting to keep as far away from Italian as possible.

She understands the blonde's behavior.

Lila's manner belied everything she claimed to be.

And as Bruce had once said ‘instinct never fails’.

Her instinct screamed, red everywhere, that the Italian was a problem.

Kim frowned at his best friend, who had frozen in the classroom door.

"MDC?" He whispers and pulls the brunette to their accents.

Marinette blinks, finally coming to herself.

"Sorry, Kimmy." She sighs. "It's just... I don't like her." She mumbles. "She makes goose bumps on the back of my neck."

The boy looks surprised at her. A vivid memory flashing in his mind.

“Really?” She nods and hides her face around his neck. "Wow."

Marinette has always had a kind of seventh sense for bad people. She was a kind child to everyone, but there were people she made a point of being rude to and it never seemed to make sense to her family.

Until one day Marinette had bitten the hand of a Dupain-Cheng neighbor. A nice gentleman who distributed sweets and played with the children in the street.

They were seven when the police showed up at his house dragging him arrested for pedophilia and the only thing Marinette said was "I said he was bad!" before drawing again.

Kim found out some time later (at 9) that the Dupain-Cheng had become suspicious of the man and along with the Wayne, had obtained evidence about him.

He caresses her friend's head. Arms over her shoulder, cuddled up.

“I understand, Mari.” Whispers “To tell the truth, it's kind of unrealistic that Jagged has made a song in her honor that we have never heard. Or her being Ladybug's friend if she has come to Paris recently.”

“Alya believed it. The class is believing it.” Marinette points out “I just hope she only tells fantasy fan stories and don't become a problem for us later.

“If she gets you in trouble, I'll have your back. As I always have.” Kim replies.

“Thank you, Kimmy. Same.” She smiles.

"MDC, I already said ‘Kimmy’ no!"

They did not notice certain Agreste listening to their conversation.

 “So she's a liar, huh.” He whispers to himself and turns his attention back to the class around Lila.

He had managed to return the book to his father's safe without Gabriel knowing about it.

Plagg hadn't been much help, focused on eating his smelly cheeses. The little god had not even tried to check the book to know what it was about.

After Marinette returned it to him, he was left with nothing good to think about Lila Rossi.

Adrien still couldn't believe what she had done and it didn't cross his mind for a second that Marinette was lying about it. As little as he knew the girl, she was fair and honest with everyone.

And on second thought, he doubted his Lady would be best friends with someone so dirty like Lila.

“Adrien!” Lila calls, rising from Adrien's (old) chair and climbing to where he was sitting now. The whole class dispersing around the room.

He noticed the quick glance Alya shot Marinette after seeing the two of them (Lila and Adrien) talking alone in the back of the room.

This was a behavior Adrien didn't understand coming from Alya and some of the people in the class. Every time he did something, they would glance at Marinette as if expecting some reaction or for her to say something.

“Adrien!” Lila calls again, waving her hands in the boy's face to attract his attention.

And what before he could not see clearly, now he could see crystal clear.

He lived with models, knew fake smiles and opportunistic people. Adrien himself was a model, he was in the middle. Even so, he needed Marinette's help to be able to recognize the mischievous tone of those eyes and the plastic smile on this face.

He felt his stomach turn, but forced a polite smile on his face. The same one he used with his most... aggressive fans. So to speak.

"Hello, Lila."

She takes this as permission to sit by his side and claw his arm like a leech.

"Hi! I wanted to end our conversation from before.” She bites her lip, her eyelashes fluttering in an attempt at charm.

He shudders, trying to create a distance between them, but Lila was strong. Adrien is sure that as soon as he took off his shirt to look, he would find purple spots on the inside of his arm.

“Yes?” Questions “I don't even remember what we were talking about anymore.” Forces a bland laugh.

Lila's smile becomes bigger and sharper.

“Oh, no problem! Before Marinette-" Say the girl's name as an insult "-appear, I would tell you that..." She lowers her tone of voice "I was the one who gave the earrings to Ladybug."

Adrien gathers all his acting knowledge to force a surprised expression.

"Re-really?!"

She looks away as if embarrassed.

"Yes. Actually, I have the power of Volpina myself. It is inherited by worthy women in my family.”

Adrien doesn't even have to pretend to choke. It seemed like there was nothing she wouldn't lie to get attention.

Lila kept talking and talking about how she was leading Ladybug and Chat Noir, how she became the heroine of the fox, the most powerful of heroes and blah blah.

Something pops inside him. His passivity, maybe.

“Lila.” Cut her out. “You can stop lying to me now.”

"W-What?"

“You don't have to lie to fit in with everyone.” He says. “Alya and I were the new ones too, so I know what it's like to be the new boy and be afraid of not being accepted by the class, but you can already drop the act. They are very kind and friendly.”

Lila's expression wavered for a moment before returning to the act.

"But I'm telling the truth." Her lips quiver and her eyes fill with water.

God, she was a terrible actress.

“Lila.” Adrien stiffens the expression. “I know you're lying.”

There is a change of behavior coming from Lila. The serious face, the manipulative eyes.

It reminded Adrien of his father.

“Well it can't be helped.” She lets go of his arm and tosses the hair off her shoulder. "Now how do you- Oh."

Adrien looks at her and follows her eyes in the direction she is staring.

Marinette and Kim, sitting behind Ivan and Mylene.

“It was then, wasn't it? What did she say?” The voice dripping with poison.

Adrien believes that if he were a real cat, he would have hissed in disgust.

“Nothing.” He replies. “Or rather… Enough.”

Lila lets out a tired breath at the boy's words.

“Look Adrien, people like us-”

“People like us? People like you, Lila. Only you. Don't put us in the same category.” Growls “Either you are honest with my friends or you can keep lying and forget me. You choose."

The Italian can barely keep herself from laughing at the ingenuity of the model.

“Oh, Adrien. Do you really think that would work for me?” Purrs “I’m really surprised by your ingenuity. The big ones only stay big by lying and cheating. Even if you're beautiful and rich, I don't think you're worth the effort.”

She slides her finger over Adrien's arm that was spread across the table. He retracts his arm away from her, annoyed.

"So, I think you should leave me alone."

She seems to finally give up on the blonde as she gets up, but before leaving him alone, she leans toward him. The malicious look never leaving her expression.

"Then try to keep out of my way or I'll have the pleasure of destroying you." And get out, as if she hasn’t just threatened someone.

Neither of them notices Marinette and Kim watching the interaction.

Marinette had to insist to Kim go home to take a shower that day.

The boy had not left her for a second for the rest of the school day. He had even turned down a dispute with Alix (which had left half the class in shock) to stay with Mari.

She could only convince him to leave her (finally) alone when she said she wanted privacy in her feminine affairs and after that they could have dinner together while watching Law & Order.

Marinette came through the side door of the bakery, which was now closed for business.

When she gets home, the scent of Kung Pao Chicken attacks her pleasantly.

“Papa, Māma, I'm back!” She calls, opening the bag for Tikki fly freely around the house.

“Huānyíng huíjiā sweetie.” Sabine responds “Your father had to make a delivery, but he should be coming soon.” Says when Marinette arrives in the kitchen.

Marinette kisses the woman's cheek affectionately.

"All right. I need to do something at the bakery.”

Sabine turns around, her face abnormally serious for her daughter.

"Ladybug?"

"Ladybug."

"All right. I'll call when the food is ready and your dad arrives.” She smiles again. “If Tikki wants it, there's a little chocolate mousse left in the bowl. She can eat while I wash the dishes...”

The kwami ​​materializes in the kitchen, her eyes shining.

"YEA!"

"OK." Sabine laughs.

"I'll be right back." Mari says before leaving the house again and going down to the bakery kitchen.

There she pushes the heavy workbench, sliding across the floor until a metal trapdoor appears.

She rests her palm on the safety lock flashing red.

“Marinette Dupain-Cheng.” She says and the light is quickly replaced by green and the trapdoor opens softly.

It was the time of truth.

Miraculous Pride and Prejudice AU

Marinette and Bridgette are sisters living in a small but respectable country estate

Adrien Agreste and his other friend Felix come to stay in town for the summer along with Felix’s snotty sister Chloe

At the dance where they meet Adrien and Marinette immediately hit it off, dancing most of the night

Bridgette asks Felix to dance but is coldly rejected. She later overhears him saying she’s so uninhibited and frolicsome that she seems ridiculous.

That night she cries to Marinette about his harsh words and by morning has no feelings toward Felix other than annoyance. Marinette all but hates the man after that.

Adrien continues pursuing Marinette, much to her horrified delight

Bridgette talks him into throwing a ball at his manor specifically to get him to see Marinette all dressed up

An utterly floored Adrien dances and talks with Marinette and is passionately in love with her by the end of the night

Felix, out of the blue, asks Bridgette for a dance and apologizes for his rudeness when they first met. Bridgette is skeptical because really, he’d been very insulting, but grudgingly finds his company intriguing.

Marinette is such a nervous wreck around Adrien that Felix comes to think she doesn’t reciprocate his feelings and is too modest to reject Adrien’s advances

At Chloe’s jealous urging, he convinces Adrien that he should give up on Marinette and they leave town.

Devastated, Marinette follows them back to London a month later under the guise of visiting her aunt and uncle, with her best friend Alya in tow.

Marinette writes to Chloe and they arrange a luncheon along with Adrien and his best friend Nino.

Adrien is very subdued toward Marinette when they meet, thinking she’d never liked him, and in response to his behavior Marinette gets very awkward. To make matters worse, Chloe very passive-aggressively announces her new engagement to Adrien.

A hurt Marinette moves her focus on nudging Alya and Adrien’s friend Nino together when she sees how well they get along.

During the rest of their stay Nino and Alya grow closer and eventually get engaged to be married.

Once they return home, Marinette, Bridgette, and Alya dive into planning the wedding. It gets organized very quickly as the happy couple are impatient to start their life together. Unfortunately Adrien, Chloe, and Felix are in attendance.

Marinette and Bridgette studiously avoid talking to Chloe and Adrien, but Bridgette ends up enraptured in a long conversation with Felix for much of the night, only for him to get alarmed at how much he likes her and make a sudden departure.

Bridgette also surprises herself with the growing affection she feels for Felix.

Adrien tries to talk to Marinette, because he’d been sure they were at least friends before. But between her broken heart and Chloe’s jealousy, he never finds the chance.

A while after Alya and Nino are settled in their new home, Alya casually mentions finding Felix very cold during their short acquaintance.

Defending Felix (something he’s very used to), Nino tells Alya about a time Felix stopped Adrien from pursuing a girl who wasn’t interested, although he never knew who she was. Alarmed, Alya puts the pieces together and writes to Bridgette, asking her not to tell Marinette as it would only devastate her further.

Angry and restless, Bridgette takes up her aunt and uncle on an invitation to travel with them. However one of their stops is Felix’s estate.

Felix is shockingly friendly with them and makes certain Chloe is on her best behavior. On their second night there he proposes to Bridgette, who declines and forcefully accuses him of causing Adrien to break her sister’s heart. They exchange extremely harsh words regarding how inappropriate inter-class marriage is perceived and she rightfully calls him a hypocrite.

Felix has words with Chloe and, furious with her manipulation and as her legal guardian, he rescinds his consent for her to marry Adrien.

Felix later delivers a letter explaining how he’d truly thought Marinette, along with being born in a lower class, wasn’t in love and he thought he was protecting Adrien. He doesn’t beg her forgiveness but apologizes for his arrogance in the situation.

Bridgette feels extremely conflicted about this, because his reasons feed her dormant affection for the man but she’s still upset about what he did.

She talks to Nino and Alya about it. Swearing his wife and her friend to secrecy, Nino tells them about why he’s so suspicious of people.

Apparently a young Chloe had fallen deeply in love with a charming militia man who’d tried to marry her when she was just fifteen. Once Felix made clear the man would never receive her large inheritance he vanished without a word. Chloe was devastated and had since become a deeply callous girl. Feeling protective, Felix trusted Adrien to be a suitable husband for his sister, as he’s a close personal friend.

Bridgette is struck by the sweet loyalty Felix keeps under wraps, and admits she can sympathize with his situation. She surmises he didn’t want a repeat with Adrien of what happened to Chloe.

Upon her return home, Bridgette resolves to keep these revelations to herself so as not to reopen Marinette’s wounds.

Some time later, expecting a visit from Alya and Nino, they’re shocked to find Adrien and Felix returned to town as well.

Repentant, Adrien anxiously explains to Marinette that Chloe led him to believe she never loved him and he’d left so he wouldn’t bother her anymore.

Alone with Marinette, he gets down on one knee, but before he can say anything Marinette blurts out her own proposal to him then claps her hands over her mouth, mortified. Adrien laughs in delight and says yes.

That night Gabriel Agreste, Adrien’s wealthy and powerful father, pays them a visit and demands that Marinette call off her wedding. He was fully behind having Chloe as his new daughter and uniting with her family.

Marinette firmly tells him no and asks him to leave.

Bridgette’s incredibly proud of her for standing up for true love and kisses her sister on the cheek.

Early the next morning Bridgette sees a disheveled Felix coming toward their house and runs out to meet him. He apologizes profusely for what Mr. Agreste did, as he’d received a similar visit where he berated Felix for stopping Chloe’s marriage to Adrien.

Felix takes a risk and professes his deep, unabashed love for Bridgette. He proposes to her again, with the promise that he’d forever leave her alone should she refuse.

Her affection solidified with gratitude for what he’s done for her family, she accepts.

Can you do an au where everything is the same except Marinette, Adrien and others turn into adults upon their miraculous transformation

 So like… I’m not totally sure how different things would be? But the magic does show how they look in the future and it’s really interesting. Marinette has a pixie cut and she’s actually super tall. She’d inherited her dad’s height apparently and shot up to six something later on in life. She’s like an Amazon and a lot of people are tongue-tied by this. 

Adrien grows a fair bit to and finds that he needs glasses later on in life which he expected. 

 Alya ends up with a bob instead of her long hair and she likes it.

 Nino has a wicked beard. 

 Chloe ends up short but has this long hair that’s usually in a braid. 

Luka has an undercut and way more piercings. 

Kagami has long hair. She’s also super fit.

 Like… yeah, nothing really changes but everyone thinks they’re adults and they make excuses about work when they’re done with akumas and people ask them about their jobs. And Gabriel doesn’t suspect his own kid so like a whole bunch of stuff never happens…  huh, I guess that means the reveal comes quicker and maybe Chloe never gives up her identity.

 Actually, let’s go further.  They also get some memories of their adult lives each time they use it. No a lot but enough. 

Marinette knows she’s a fashion designer and is currently dating three people cause I ship Lukadrigaminette and you can rip it from my hands. She knows she’s happy and they’re all heroes. She knows she’s the future Guardian. 

Adrien knows he’s a physics teacher. He knows he’s dating three people and one of them is his Lady. He’s happy and he knows that one of his partners is a musician. 

Alya knows she’s a journalist and has a girlfriend and a boyfriend. She’s happy and has a good life. She’s aware that she also doubles as the keeper of Miraculous Lore. 

 Nino knows he’s a DJ and has two girlfriends. He knows one of them is Alya. He knows he’s a dad to a little girl. He’s very happy.

 Chloe knows she’s actually a lawyer and a mom, she has a boyfriend and girlfriend and that she’s happy. She knows she cut her mom out of her life due to the abuse and that’s why she never reveals herself to Paris. She is also aware her future boyfriend is Nino so she tries to be nicer.

 Kagami is aware in the future she’s an Olympic fencer and famous. She’s aware that she has two boyfriends and a girlfriend. She’s aware that one of her future boyfriends is Adrien. She knows she’s happy and it makes her happy in the present.

 Luka is aware in the future that he’s a famous rockstar and that he’s dating Marinette, Kagami and Adrien and that they’re all heroes. He’s happy he knows it and right now he can’t wait till it comes about.

Chapter 15

Marinette didn’t surface until well into the afternoon. Between the akuma, the taxing cocktail party and the various amounts of alcohol she had consumed, Marinette was exhausted. She was roused by a gentle knock on her door as Hanna and Juliette slipped in.

“Morning, Marinette!” Hanna said in her chirpy voice. They had brought Marinette some sandwiches, chips, and water and Hanna placed the plate on the bed, before sitting on the edge.

“Well, it’s actually afternoon,” Juliette said with a small laugh, placing the glass of water she was holding on the side table. Marinette sat up and stretched, feeling the ache from the akuma attack in her muscles.

“Well I had a long day yesterday, between the cocktail party and the akuma. So I think I deserve extra sleep,” Marinette said as she reached for a sandwich.

“That was so scary what happened last night. We’re just so glad that you’re okay!” Hanna gushed and Juliette nodded in agreement.

“Yeah the whole house is buzzing about how you got attacked. It’s almost like they forgot about all of the drama that Lila caused last night and are just worried about your well-being.” Juliette said as she took a chip off of the plate.

Marinette playfully swatted Juliette’s hand away with a giggle. “That’s actually not the first time I’ve been targeted by an akuma. I’m kind of used to it now.” Both girls gaped at Marinette and she gave a small laugh before taking a bite of the sandwich.

“What happened? How many have come after you? Have you ever gotten hurt? What’s it like to be chased by some super villain? Will you tell us about them?” Both girls began asking questions all at once. Marinette swallowed and couldn’t help but smile. Living in Paris, it’s easy to forget that not everyone has seen an akuma attack take place. Something that is just a part of Marinette’s life is something exciting and interesting to these two who are from other parts of France.

Marinette, slightly excited to tell these stories for the first time, broke into a grin. “Do you want to hear the one about the akuma that was in love with me or the time that I angered the ice cream man? Or how about the time my Nona got akumatized and tried to turn me into coal?”

Juliette and Hanna looked at each other with awed faces. They turned back to face Marinette and Hanna responded, “All of it!” All three girls broke into giggles and Marinette spent the rest of the afternoon retelling stories of all of the crazy akumas she’d seen, and even some cool fights with Ladybug and Chat Noir that she had “seen.” The girls laughed and ate and Marinette was suddenly struck with how much she honestly loved having these two girls as friends.

By the time it had started to get dark out, the girls had moved into the kitchen for dinner. Almost every girl except for Lila came up and made sure that Marinette was okay after the akuma attack yesterday. She reassured everyone that she was fine, and as 8 o’clock ticked closer, excused herself to her room to sketch.

“Why don’t you stay down here and tell everyone about those other times akumas have come after you? I’m sure the other girls will love the stories!” Hanna asked as Marinette began walking up the stairs.

“Reliving all of those stories with you today made me come up with some different ideas for sketches. If I don’t write them down now, I’ll forget! But I promise I’ll tell everyone whatever story you want me to another day!” Hanna nodded and Marinette dashed up to her room, without anyone following.

She had snagged a couple of cookies for Tikki from the cabinet and placed them on the bedside table for when they came back from patrol. Marinette locked the door, unlatched the balcony door, and quickly transformed, disappearing into the night.

As Ladybug swung closer to their meeting spot, she noticed a familiar set of ears sitting on the edge of the building, waiting for her. Once she had landed, she moved closer and sat down next to Chat.

“Sorry, I’m late, I had a hard time sneaking away from the girls tonight.” Ladybug said cheerfully as she sat.

Chat nodded and smiled, “I wasn’t worried.”

“How was your day?”

“It was long. I had to endure a lecture from Father, a lecture from Mini-Natalie, and a lecture from Plagg all about different topics. But your presence and beautiful smile makes it all better.”

Ladybug blushed a little at the compliment, “Woah, what did you do that needed to be lectured on?”

“Mini-Natalie lectured me about how I need to stay in sight the next time an akuma attacks nearby so they can make sure I’m safe. Which of course is illogical since I have to escape to fight the akuma, but they don’t know that. Father lectured me on keeping a girl that he wanted to be gone and not making a big deal about her so-called behavior in front of the other girls.” Ladybug’s heart tightened, knowing that she was the reason he had gotten a lecture from his father. “And lastly, Plagg was upset about the way that I’m dealing with the girls who leave. He thinks that the akuma could have been avoided if I had handled it differently.” Chat let out a sigh, and Ladybug reached out and took his hand, intertwining their fingers together.

“Was the girl Marinette?” Ladybug asked. Chat nodded and she sighed. “I’m sorry your Father didn’t like your choice. For what it’s worth, I’m glad you kept Marinette around.”

Chat gave a small smile and squeezed her hand. “I am too. I knew he would be upset by my decision, but I also knew that I wanted her to stay. It was the one lecture I deserved, but I don’t regret my decision.” A small smile graced Ladybug’s lips. She was worried that Adrien would be upset with her because of the lecture, but the knowledge that he didn’t regret keeping her in the house lifted a weight of worry off of her shoulders that she didn’t realize was there.

“Anyway, we do need to come up with a game plan to make sure another girl isn’t akumatized again because she got sent home.” Ladybug said, giving Chat’s hand a squeeze. “Especially as the numbers get smaller and the girls begin to take the cuts personally.”

“I’m open to suggestions.” Chat said, trying to sound upbeat but failing.

Ladybug pondered for a second and was slightly distracted by Chat rubbing different shapes into the back of her hand with his thumb. “If only there was a way that you could talk with each of them after you cut them, to make them understand why it happened and that there’s no hard feelings between you.” Ladybug thought aloud.

Chat sat up a little straighter, “That’s actually a good idea. I could walk out each girl as they leave so there’s that extra time for us to chat and I can make them understand my thought process.” He started to perk up, sounding more relaxed than before. “Thanks, Bug, you’re a genius.” He leaned over and kissed her cheek, which caused both of them to blush slightly.

“That’s why they gave me the important miraculous.” She said, elbowing him with a sly grin.

Chat looked stricken and placed a hand over his heart, “Meowch, you’ve wounded me, milady.”

She laughed and stood up, offering a hand to Chat so he could stand as well. “Come on, we have a city to patrol.”

The next morning Marinette woke up, excitement and nervousness pulsing through her. Another Monday meant another week, which meant another date card, and Marinette was anxiously hoping that she would get the one on one this week. She quickly got ready, put on a presentable outfit, and rushed downstairs to the kitchen.

Alice, who was making omelets for everyone, called to Marinette as she ran into the room, “What do you want in yours Marinette?”

Marinette smiled as she sat on a stool at the bar in between Lucie and Marie. “Give me whatever as long as there are no mushrooms!”

“Wow picky, picky,” Alice teased as she turned back towards the stove. Alice was an expert cook and even was in line to inherit a huge restaurant chain from her parents. Much like Marinette, she grew up running around a kitchen and was put to work very quickly after she could walk. The main difference between the two is that Alice’s parents were loaded and frequently bought other restaurants out. When Alice got old enough, not only would she be a wonderful cook, but she would also be a multi-millionaire. Marinette had a feeling Alice was on Gabriel’s Top 10 list. Marinette dreaded the day that Alice got cut and all of the wonderful food would be taken away.

An omelet was very quickly placed in front of Marinette and she began eating. All of the girls were chatting about who would be on the group date tonight and what they were going to wear and everything in between. Marinette was struck by how calm and friendly everyone was being to each other. It felt like a completely different house compared to a couple of weeks ago, where the tension was thick. It seemed that all of the girls liked each other a lot more as their numbers dwindled.

Soon, they were all being ushered away to the main living room to await a date card. Marinette caught sight of Hanna and Juliette and gently pushed her way towards them. Once everyone was settled, a producer stepped into the room and addressed the girls. “Okay, we’re going to have Lila read the date card for today.”

Marinette stifled an eye-roll as Lila smiled. Once there was a knock on the door, she sauntered to it to grab the date card. She came back, and announced, “I got the date card ladies!” with cheery excitement that made Marinette gag.

She cracked the seal and went to read what it said, but didn’t speak. She looked at the nearest producer and asked, “Why is there only one name on here?” The other girls began nervously chatting and Hanna leaned to whisper to Marinette and Juliette, “What do you think is going on?”

Marinette had time to whisper, “Maybe he’s doing the one-on-one first?” before Victoria stepped forward and the group went silent.

“Ladies, I know this is a little different, but because there are so few of you left, and Adrien wants to truly begin narrowing down his prospects, there will be two one-on-ones and one group date from now on. The first one-on-one will be announced tonight, the group date tomorrow, and then Thursday will announce the last one-on-one. Lila, please reread the date card as you were before.”

Lila cleared her throat and gave everyone a smile that Marinette didn’t believe was real. She reopened up the date card and read, “Alice.” All of the girls started “ooooh”-ing and Alice beamed from where she sat. “I can b-air-ly wait to see you,” Lila finished reading and then placed the card on the coffee table. She then stalked out, quickly followed by her current posse of Camille, Marie, and Lily. Marinette congratulated Alice on her date card and then followed Hanna, Juliette, and Lucie to another living area.

“What should we do today?” Juliette asked as she sat down on a chair.

“I’m so bored of doing absolutely nothing almost every day. It makes me even hate sweet Alice for getting to leave tomorrow.” Lucie said with a sigh.

“I know what you mean! It’s like we do the same thing over and over again. No wonder all the drama ensues when Adrien is around, we are so in need of face-to-face time with someone who doesn’t live in this house or operate a camera.” Marinette added, sitting cross-legged on a rug in the middle of the room, facing the other girls. This was the only living room with a TV, but it only had a DVD player so the girls could watch various movies from the vast collection.

“What if we built a fort?” Hanna asked casually.

Marinette and Lucie both sat up straighter and turned towards Hanna. “That’s brilliant! We can make popcorn and pick out a movie and invite all of the girls to join us!” Lucie said, practically bouncing in her chair.

“Forts are more of an evening activity,” Juliette pointed out. How about we have a pool party instead? Show off those fancy Gabriel swimsuits we all got in our gift baskets the first day.”

All of the girls were on their feet now and they were buzzing with excitement. “We can play volleyball and races, and we can have a diving contest, and we can eat lunch outside once we all get hungry.” Hanna squealed.

“And once we all get tired, we can come back in and make a fort in this living room!” Marinette added. The girls nodded in agreement, and without talking about it, rushed for the stairs to tell everyone of the exciting day that they had planned.

Within 30 minutes, all of the girls were at the poolside except for Alice and Constance, who were planning out Alice’s outfits for her date tomorrow, but promised they’d join once they were done. Even Lila was there, tanning and enjoying the sunshine. She was ignoring Marinette, which was fine by her, and it helped that none of the other girls noticed.

They didn’t actually leave the mansion, but it felt like they had, with a change of scenery and outfits. The girls were all laughing and smiling and chatting. Marinette, Juliette and Hanna were the first in the water, solely because Lucie and Gabrielle pushed them in. By the time lunch came, all of the girls were wet but happy.

They stayed outside until the sun began setting, reluctantly making their way inside to rinse off and change. Some of the girls completely redid their make-up, but Marinette’s main focus was to put on her fluffiest pajamas.

“You seem like you’re having so much fun today!” Tikki chirped as she flitted around Marinette, who was pulling a brush through her hair.

“Today has been one of the best days in the mansion.” Marinette responded, almost dreamily. “The only thing that could make it better would be if Alya was here to enjoy it all with me.”

“At least you have friends who are there for you like Alya is here.”

“Seriously though, Tikki. If I didn’t have Hanna and Juliette, I would be lost and upset. I probably would have cried more in the shower than I have.”

“You’ve been crying in the shower?!” Tikki asked, alarmed, flying up to look at Marinette at eye level.

“Well, that’s the only place to cry, unless you want to be filmed. Sometimes you just need to cry. I cried after the akuma and the rose ceremony on Saturday, just because it was so much all at one time. I promise you, Tik, if I’m truly upset, I’ll tell you.”

Tikki softened a little at that. “Good. You know I care about you no matter what.”

“I know, Tikki,” Marinette said softly, grabbing her kwami and pulling her in for a hug.

A loud banging came on Marinette’s door and Tikki squealed and flitted away.

It was Juliette. “Marinette! We are building this fort with or without you. I repeat we are building the fort with or without you!”

“Coming!” Marinette called as she rushed to finish changing. “Come one Tikki! You can hide in my pocket and I’ll sneak you cookies throughout the movie!”

Tikki gave an excited squeal and zoomed into Marinette’s pocket. “What are we waiting for! Let’s go!”

Marinette laughed and skipped down the stairs to join the fun.

The next morning all of the girls were chatting excitedly while eating the croissants that Marinette had prepared the night before. They had stayed up late chatting and watching Disney movies and just having a great time. Marinette was dragging this morning, but she was awake enough to bake the croissants and know that another date card was being read this morning.

Once they were gathered in the “Date Card Room,” the girls wished Alice a good time as she left for her one-on-one and were asked some questions about the date card today.

“I’m getting restless. I would love more than anything for some alone time with Adrien that lasts more than 5 minutes.” Marinette nodded and sighed with Juliette as Sasha continued. “I hope my name isn’t on that date card, that would make my day.”

Hanna went and answered the knock on the door, reappearing with the card, and for once, all of the girls held their breath, hoping that their name wasn’t on the paper.

Hanna cracked open the paper and began reading off the names. With each name, a girl sighed and pretended to be happy, while the rest grew more tense. “Camille... Zoe... Lucie... Lila... Kagami... Hanna,” She gave a little half curtsy when she said her own name before continuing. “Sasha... Constance... Marie... Gabrielle... Lily,” Marinette quickly scanned the room and realized that only she and Juliette were left.

They grabbed each other’s hands as Hanna read off the last name, “Marinette.”

Lila looked ready to kill, but the rest were showing happy faces. Marinette hugged Juliette who was shaking she was so excited.

“Let’s get our act together,” Hanna read from the card, before placing it on the table. She quickly came and joined Marinette as Juliette had been snagged for an interview about her one-on-one.

“Looks like we’re going on a date tomorrow,” Hanna said with a smile.

 “Looks like we are,” Marinette responded, giving her a hug.

 “Where do you think we’re going?”

 “As long as it’s out of this mansion, we’ll be okay,” Marinette winked and Hanna laughed right as Juliette ran up to them.

 “Come on! We have to figure out what you two are going to wear tomorrow!” Juliette pulled the two laughing girls up the stairs and they disappeared into a mess of clothes.

Not a lot of action in this chapter, but it sets up the next chapter really well (and the next one should be SUPER long to make up for it!) We getting into the meat of the story and we are almost half way done!

*Integrity- Overwhelmed with her responsibilities, guilt, and drama, Marinette has an emotional breakdown in front of everyone, and even hands over her earrings in a moment of weakness. Only for a few seconds, but the damage was done. Adrien’s pretty quick on the uptake like that.
