Ok, right, I haven’t been on Tumblr in who knows how long at this point but I thought I’d pick up the site again and start posting here again. I’ll take this as a time to reintroduce myself.

I’ve been cosplaying since 2007, taking interest in a wide variety of characters. In the last couple of years I’ve shown particular interest in characters from the shows Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, enjoying the characters and interesting stories.

Award winning costumer who’s learned to slow down in their work, found my groove with making coats and cartoony hats - two of my awards are for said hats.

Since the start of COVID I took to TikTok as a new creative outlet with over 16K followers, focusing on performance videos mostly, and occasional crafting videos, story times, tips, and more.

Aside from cosplay I love photography, art, history, reading, movies and video games.

I’m also engaged to one of my long time best friends who I fell head over heels for this year.

Long post incoming: I've been meaning to make this post for quite a while. Cosplay is meant to be fun, an escape from reality, to give us a sense of freedom, let us be creative. We all fall in love with it under one simple premise - we love to dress up as our favourite characters and have fun with our friends. Sometimes though, cosplay can become a great source of stress. Many focus on views on videos, likes on them and on photos, and it gets to bother you. I've been frustrated with such things now and then myself. But I always remind myself, that I do cosplay for me, and no one else. It's important to remember that for most of us cosplay is supposed to be this fun silly hobby that you get to do on the weekends with your friends. Likes, views, etc shouldn't matter. It's important to remember that when you're faced with negative comments, it's better to ignore those, and I understand it can be hard, and some are even harder to ignore. Just remember that for every one hater, there are at least tens more who are routing for you. It's important to surround yourself with the right people in this world and in this hobby. I know I've definitely been doing that more. I hope you're all able to keep yourselves surrounded by positive people in your lives. Cosplay & photo by me
