I obviously don't know if he read that book. But it's so his vibe. He loves dogs, he loves daisies, he's into (kinda sad & sappy) literature and poems sometimes, he's very into equality and helping and comforting others. (also he's learning english)

I know nobody cares. I am just still on my mission on finding out why he's such a fan of daisies and flowers in general. And this brought me a bit closer to an answer. I did just google that quote and found all that in the first top links. Why did I not try that sooner? Because I may be dumb. tbh just now this attempt was lead by my own depressions so it's a nice mood lift to have found all that. + I painted one of his Daisy motives on canvas (with a little personal twist, since I didn't just want to copy it 1:1) and I am still pondering if and how I can get that quote on that painting in a thin white text (I have no pen nor brush thin enough :/...) I may show the painting some day here.

Well. Taylor Swift was about to tour on her Red album when I was in University. Me, as one of her fans, had saved my allowance for a ticket, since she has never come to my country. That was the first time.

But then, boooooooooooooom, fuckin coup d'état. 13th time since 1932; the year that my country changed the regime - from absolute monarchy to democracy. She cancled the tour.

Now 9 years after the coup d'état, finally the general election was holden, the left liberal party wins the election. The Prime Minister-to-be, from people's consensus (including me), comments on Taylor's twitter. He persuades her to come to my country for tour again. We, people, are with him. Because the shitty head nowaday and about to fall from power Prime Minister never does something like this, guess what? It (I don't see this garbage as human anymore) can't speak English! It has just known how to use Google! Claming that it can play Facebook. But I don't believe and buy this 'fact'. When porks' prices were raising, it told people to eat chicken instead! Sound familiar? Yeah. But it was on every tv chanels. We can strongly prove its word as real shit, more real than Marie Antoinette's which we might or might not know she was really saying it. And it also tells people to be thrifty, while it and its fellows have lunches at 5 stars hotels, just like Oscar Wilde's quote; "To recommend thrift to the poor is both grotesque and insulting. It is like advising a man who is starving to eat less."

Okay, let's get back to main subject. Our Prime Minister-to-be, from people's consensus, persuades Taylor Swift to come for concert in the country. We people do not oppose, since we haven't gone for the western artists' concerts for 9 years. But one ignorance and dictators' supporter who is happening to be an artist - 'modern folk for life' genre - opposes with hatred and narrow mind. His reason is uselesss so I'm not gonna type them here. The problem is not only he supports dictatorships, I used to admire him, listening to his songs which talking about what working people must face everyday. But now, he absolutely loses my respect. He finally shows his true colours. He is just 'acting'. He is rich and never live a hard and poverty life. So, who is he? This is not democratical opinion. He assaults the Prime Minister-to-be with irrational and illogical.

I should stop here before I roast another influencers and artists who support dictatorships. I used to spend half a day roasting them with my friends.

And in conclude, I just want my country developing forward. Not backward. If they wanna live in the 'beautiful past', just stop dragging almost entire people to go with you. We want good fucking lives and consist with present world.

I think my biggest pet peeve when it comes to sims are badly translated mods or tools.

I don't mind it when creators have confusing file names or put their objects in the wrong category, but I draw the line at literal or misspelled translations that make the mods/tools almost unusable simply because none of the commands match the ones in-game.

I worked at  an extremely understaffed fast food restaurant for less than a month. I did the cleaning and cashiering and other basic tasks. That part of the job was easy.

I asked for simple accomodations. Because I am disabled, I requested to sit down when I was taking orders, and to wear noise-cancleing earbuds for overstimulation. I was already hard of hearing (and they knew that because although TWO other coworkers knew ASL, the managers would not allow ASL to be used.) ****they knew ALL this before hiring me**** Accomidations were denied.

Customers got rediculiously pissed off whenever I told them the menu changed. to the point of making a formal complaint on the store website which ended up getting a write up.

I had a customer verbally threaten me because I wouldn't look him in the eye. 

There was a Deaf couple in line and I used ASL to take their order. It went really well except everyone behind them complained in line because "either learn English or leave" got a few R slurs too. My manager was so angry that he told me I had to offer a TTS or have them write it down because "that's not how we do things here".

I spent a ton of time crying on my breaks (when they actually let me have them) and I quit under a month.

Eleanor & Park

Rainbow Rowell in an american author who has written books such as Eleanor & Park, Fangirl, and Carry On. She wrote Eleanor & Park in 2012. In 2013, Rowell was going to speak about her book in a public library in the Anoka-Hennepin school district in Minnesota, but it become quite controvercial due to its casual treatment of sexuality and use of offensive language such as Jesus, God, and Christ many times and her visit was cancled. However, critics believe her book is very good. NPR called it one of the best books of 2013, saying that Rowell was daring to address such real ugliness and pain.

There is not a large following for the book and the majority of the time fans use the quote “She never looked nice. She looked like art, and art wasn’t supposed to look nice; it was supposed to make you feel something.” It is hard to find another quote from it on tumblr. Granted, it was a very well written part but the more memorable portions for me were not the romantic but the otherwise emotional portions. Although, I also was drawn to the parts about music. One quote that really stuck with me was when Eleanor said “[she] could hear his accent, even when he was singing. He sounded like he was crying out.”

Frankly, I loved this book. It did not ever push my willing suspension of disbelief, I was onboard with the story up to the end. I believe that it was well-written, brave, and inspiring. I do think that it could be a viable option to teach in a young adult literature setting to bring up topics of bullying, race, gender inequality, and mental illness.

The only topic that I found many people did not agree with me on was that Eleanor’s mother really was doing what she could to help her children even though she seemed to be lacking in many ways. She did not have many marketable skills and her husband was creating a sort of relience on him so that she would be unable to leave. Also, Eleanor was going to be able to leave after school but her mother still had four kids to take care of and she could not abandon her only source of income. It is something that as children of middle to upper class parents the students in our english 345 class might not be able to fully understand.

Hello, I had the first day of school today, and moved into my friend’s place yesterday.  We had methods for 25 minutes and it was mostly our teacher telling us what he had been doing since 2015 because he used to teach the S.E.A.L class. We had physics which was really good, I knew more than I thought I did I had a free because my year 12 class was cancled and ended up hanging with two people from my computing class in the study centre while reading AutoBoyography (A really good book) And finally I had english, and have some how lost my book in the day I’ve been here. But it was good.

My problem is this, In July 2007 A man in a huge truck with a trailer hinge back up out from a parking space, it I saw him and the only thing I could at the time is speed up so he would not hit the middle of my car. He ended up hitting the side bumper and ripped it off. I have A 1999 Cryshler Sebring. It truely was a hard hit. Well the man's insurance did pay to fix the bumper, but now everything keeps going wrong. I did mention it to the person at the shop where we had arranged for the repair. When the time came, She did not do so and when I asked the lady she gave me a look like there is really something wrong with my car. I have put over 700.00 and still more problems. So my question is what do you think my chances are If I take it to the manufactor and they will rule in my favor. First of all the things my battery kept dyeing out, my car would not start up in the mornings,I took it to Auto zone and my battery was fat, swollen no good. Bought a new one, then I took it to a man at midas , he said I needed a valve cover gasket and he showed me my spark plugs we filled with oil, fixed that. Now Midas ran a scan and said I had either a bad map sensor or a short. Changed the map sensor the car is still barely running, so then another place said it was a short but had it for two weeks and could not find the short . I would like to know , if the guys Insurance is still on the hook for all the problems I have had with the car since the accident. Now I give these two guys a ride from work each day and they knew there was nothing wrong with my car before the accident. What is the best thing I can do. Many thanks , Sylvia""

Dangue it

There isn't much to report this week, seeing as my companion and I were both incredibly sick. We tried our very hardest to go out and work though. We called members to come with us, and they did when they could. It was very frustrating for me to have to stay home most of the time, but it was also frustrating to be in the middle of a lesson and be in pain all over and to be drained of energy. And let's be honest that kind of drives the spirit away. We only were able to do 10 lessons, but that is better than none! We also fixed many lessons that were cancles by our amis, and I took that as a sign from Heavenly Father to be saying that we needn't push ourselves more than we could handle. And apparently all that our bodies could handle was ten lessons. But it is all okay because this week we are feeling better, anti-moustique spray bottles in hand, ready to explode Nuuroa. This time it is real. Bur really, when you stay at home for almost an entire week, there isn't much that happens. And when things do happen, they are a little but crazy, such as: -You cut off your hair while trying to cut a moth in half out of the air like a wigging genius. -You poop literally 11 times a day. -You have a fight with the flowers given to you by a random woman decorating for a wedding and the fries that you got from MacDo (a terrible idea to eat that when you're sick by the way) after zone meeting. -Take several videos of your companion trying her best to sings songs in english. -A drunk man comes to your gate and yells in Tahitian that he is "A CHILD OF GOD TOO AND IF YOUS DON'T OPEN THE DOOR HE WILL COME AND OPEN IT HIMSELF!!!" -Many many other things that I dont have time to explain, As well as a miracle. On Sunday we decided to take another course of action with our ami Baptiste. We introduced him to a member in our ward, President Valenza. He has had some very similar experiences as Baptiste, and we had him share his conversion story and answer any questions that Baptiste had. It went very very well. Afterwards, we talked to Baptiste and he promised that he would fast and watch the general conference to receive and answer to his prayer to know if the church was true. And we joked with him saying that maybe it was still possible to be baptized the 8th (and invitation he has rejected many times), but then he said maybe it was. That shocked us a bit. He told us that he felt something about that day, and that the ninth marked one year since he moved to Tahiti. We talked a bit more with him about it, and if he gets the answer to his prayer this weekend, Baptiste may be baptized the 9th. It isn't for sure, but we are praying our hardest for it to happen. That's pretty much it for today. For this week. Sorry it's so short, but really I'm kind of half-dead here. I hope you have a great week, and I wish you the best.
