I saw you mention the potential of Luffy in Moominvalley but imagine: Snufkin in the One Piece world. He would immediately become a revolutionary.

Donghyuck winces as you press the cotton absorbed with ointment to a cut on his cheekbone, hissing and turning his head the other way.

"Hyuck come on, you've dealt with worse." You sigh exasperated, your hand reaching up to place it on his shoulder, rubbing comfortingly. It feels a bit weird though, instead of warm, smooth skin you feel cold and hard leather grazing your fingers, but you've grown used to it anyway.

Donghyuck grunts, but obliges to your instructions of not moving, locking eyes with yours for a moment before you focus on his bruised and cut cheeks. You never get why he gets into meaningless fights.

He never really tells you either, so all you have to conclude is for entertainment, or maybe small petty things. But you know Donghyuck knows better than that.

You gently place a bandaid on his cut, smoothing out the moomin themed plaster on his skin. Renjun had gifted you a moomin themed first aid box for Christmas, claiming he heard of your struggles of cleaning Hyuck up every time he showed up in front of you hurt.

"Why did you even fight them anyway?" You ask after patting lightly on the plaster, moving to take care of the other cut on his chin. Donghyuck peers down at you with uncertainty, hesitating to tell you the truth.

Truth be told, it was always the other person's fault the fight starts, either they want to take on the famous bad boy of campus or maybe they were the ones who wanted entertainment. It was never him.

It was never him, but this time.

Your boyfriend huffs out, avoiding your gaze as your eyes land on his, trying to read the emotions hidden behind those mysterious brown eyes you find yourself falling in love with every time you take a glance into them. "I-It's nothing."

"Donghyuck," you whisper desperately, placing the first aid kit on your lap aside. Your hands envelope his, fingers delicately dancing over his blue and purple mess of his hands, pulling them into a lock.

You softly tug, a silent plead to look at you.

He finally glances at you, growing guilty at the look on your face, eyebrows scrunched up together in worry, eyes glistening with barely any patience as you wait for his answer.

"They just…" Donghyuck looks away from you, instead staring at the lock of your hands, how your clean and soft looking hands hold onto his beat up and slightly bloody hands, wondering how he got such an angel to care for him. "they said stuff."

"Donghyuck, that barely helps with anything. Please just tell me already! I've been waiting for weeks, and I really don't want to pry on you, but seeing you like this-"

"They were talking about you, alright?!"

The rest of your sentence instantly dies down from your throat, growing speechless at your boyfriend's annoyed tone. His gaze on you is just as hard as his voice, revealing everything beneath them, no longer hiding from you anymore.

They soften the moment they notice your own hurt eyes, absorbing the shock from them and filtering it into guilt. "They were talking about how stupid you were for choosing me."

"Hyu-" your attempt to talk is quickly shut down as Donghyuck's eyes grow desperate, his hands tightening their hold on your own palms.

"I fought them because they called you dumb and crazy. I fought them because it hurts to see someone say such filthy things about you so carelessly. Then even say I don't deserve you, which hurts the most…"

Beads of tears burn at the corner of your eyes as Donghyuck's own also welled up in tears, his nose quickly growing red as he holds in a choked sob. "if everyone thinks I don't deserve you, why should I?"

"Fuck that, Donghyuck," one of your hands release from the pile of tangled limbs on your laps, cupping his face to bring his tearful face back up to look at you. "I don't give a shit about what they think. I only care about what you think about me."

Your thumb carefully rubs gentle circles on his skin, making sure to avoid the bruises scattered on his cheek. His eyes gloss over and over as more of his tears trickle down his cheeks. You catch a few between your thumb, caressing them away with pure endearment.

"You're the only one that counts, okay?"

Donghyuck sniffles quietly, leaning slightly into your comforting touch. He's never felt such a soft and gentle sensation, he wants more of it, to drown in it and bask in the love he never got growing up.

"They could think anything about me, think I'm dumb, crazy, stupid, anything, Hyuck. As long as you don't think so I'm okay."

Donghyuck realizes that he feels the same way. He's labeled as Haechan, the schools flunker and trouble maker, but to you he's Lee Donghyuck, the hard working and playful human who only wants to bring a smile to his friends' faces.

They can think whatever the hell they want, if you have each other they mean nothing.

Current obsession: Notion! I installed the app because I was curious and now I feel like my mess of a life is a bit better with it. It's helping me a lot with the degree organization and it's the first digital planer I actvely use! I'm in love. I haven't used it for the sims yet because I know that will be the end of my academic productivity heheeee

Any pets: 3 dogs, a peacock, a pheasant and a small horse. But "my" dog is a stray I rescued last year. He's called Lucio (spanish for pike) and won't hesitate to bite your ankles. This is him as a puppy :')

Favorite fictional character: Little My, from the Moomins.

Last place you've traveled: I haven't traveled in years (I'm brokeee) but I visited the Soumaya Museum recently with my family. Does that count?

anyway, ideal number of blankets: 3-5 depending on the season and the weather but generally i need to be absolutely burried under piles of blankets to sleep + it gets quite cold at night where i live so coziness is important.

favourite cartoon: my favourites are all from my childhood and its hard to choose just one so I'd say, charlie and lola, the moomins, and more recently gravity falls thanks to my friend who introduced me to it.

First Meeting

“Lee seemed to not like me the first time we met. My first words to her were ‘You are too tall’. I can see why. ” (he laughs after he says this)

The first they met it was when they both had accidentally run into each other in the hallway

Renjun was late for a practice and Charlotte has just started walking back from a practice room

They turned a corner and slammed into each other causing them both to fall down

“I’m so sorry,” Charlotte is quick to apologize and getting up quickly to help him up.

“No, I’m sorry. I wasn’t looking.” Renjun is quick to take her hand and finally looks up to see who he ran into.

Charlotte hoped she didn’t seem weird, because on what world would you just stand there after helping someone up.

She so awkward that she sticks her hand out and introduces herself

“Hello…um I’m Chaewon.” Her smile is strained and her hand is held out in front of her

“I still feel so bad. I was so nervous and she was so cute, I couldn’t do anything and I just said the first thing in mind. I was thinking she was so tall, not too tall. It sounded like I was rejecting her!” (all the members laugh)

“You’re too tall.” He says in a straightforward manner, not even taking a second glance at her hand and walking away straight towards the practice room

Funnily enough she was in the video where she was “learning” chinese

The producers sought out Charlee and asked her to be in the content

Nobody other than Chenle and Jisung knew she could speak and understand mandarin so the first thing Chenle asked was “Aren’t you fluent?” while laughing

“What are you talking about. Weirdo…”

It wasn’t until Charlee started correcting the others pronunciation that Renjun caught on

“You know what you’re doing. Why are you here!” Renjun got up and started jokingly hitting her with a hongbao.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about! I’m a student too!” Charlee said grinning while her teammates Jungwoo and Mark watched, laughing.

“If you didn’t know, you wouldn’t have answered my question stupid.”

“I’m NOT stupid.”

“Huh. So you CAN speak!”

From then on, when speaking in mandarin to each other they call each other “stupid” (affectionately ofc)

One of the first tattoos she had gotten was dedicated to 8dream, each member had a little doodle she drew that reminded her of them.

are you ready xD for some self-indulgent screenshots of the house Moomin builds in my snufmin ficlet from some months ago, A Promise of Snow, which I tried my best to reproduce in the Sims

Some game-related limitations: I just couldn't make the house as small as it should be. It really should be more square than rectangular. The light wood is Snufkin's "alcove" (which is an addition, not an alcove xP) and it should be half that size. And the upper floor should be just a dormer, not a whole floor, but my sims needed space upstairs.

The porch was meant to stretch all the way across, but I didn't like how it looked. In sims if your house is too boxy it ends up looking stupid. Same reason why it's more cluttered. Overall I like how th build came out though. I was so patient, waiting for my game to hit autumn before I took pics hahah.

Interior and extras under the cut.

The inside of the alcove. I love, love love love the window. Just imagine sleepy Snufkin curled up in this bare, cold room under the window...

Entry to the main house. Little rustic dining table. Homemade, hand-painted furniture. Moominmamma's influence in the kitchen. Mouse hole caused some theatrics in game lol

Through the archway into the living room. This is pretty much just how I imagined. The piano, though, is a game-only touch. Gotta give your sims things to do or they play video games on their phones aaaall day, even if you gave them the "hates video-gaming" trait. Lovely fireplace, although it's too grand, but none of the smaller ones really had the right vibe.

And a delicious looking autumnal spread - party food? :3

The ending scene when it starts to snow ^^- I just love the lighting and wish my computer could handle Sims at higher graphics settings...

Some extras!

Bedroom - in my idea for the fic, the bed is a pull-out couch and upstairs is just a small attic with not much in it. But in game things take more space and I definitely didn't want the murphy bed. So I made a bedroom upstairs and based it on how I decorated Moomintroll's room in my Moominhouse build.

Piano nook because it may have nothing to do with the story but it is so pretty.

Picnic! Idea that I stole after salivating over plantsimsgirl builds

Of course the house is by the sea. It's meant to be kind of high up on a hill, with a bit of a winding walk down to the shore and some trees in the way. But I love this lot in Windenburg and it's really too small to do a lot of terrain editing, so we just imagine.

And a sweet November evening moment of snufmin <3

I had a lot of fun building this instead of you know doing other more important things xP But you can't imagine the difficulty I had shooing neighbors away. (Because this is a generic lot, not residential/rental, so the public can just come in.) I didn't want a fence because snufmin!!! so I had to keep putting dressers in front of the doors when I took photos to keep people out hahaha
