growing up in a poor rural area with a feral dog and cat problem was very sad. but also whenever you wanted a dog, it would just show up. whenever you wanted a cat, it would just be in your garage. and it would be a goddamn fantastic dog that was immune to every disease and could survive any disaster. but anyway it made me diametrically opposed to paying for animals so navigating the world outside of my hometown has been bizarre.
Ryker just turned 6 months old today and my guess is a Border Collie mix, I will eventually get him DNA tested but for now nothing is known about his parents.
Hoping to get him into agility and obedience and have him be an amazing sport and adventure dog like Aayla.
It's the 22nd December 2023 & Flynn's current absolute #1 favourite toy is his squeaky Easter Chicken thingy, which I bought for about £2, back in April. Amazingly, given it was so cheap & as you can see... has been "well loved" Squeaky Easter Chicken still squeaks. Flynn had a fine old time this afternoon, skipping about the bleak winter fields, madly squeaking a spring chick. He's going to get a slightly more seasonally appropriate toy from Santa soon, hopefully he'll like it!!
Anyway, yes - Happy Christmas to those who celebrate, & for everyone else we hope you have a happy, peaceful holiday season.
