I’ve got the hair almost done as it needs to be attatched to a bald cap and the stache is all set. Just waiting on the client to send me their measurements so I can start on the overalls and arm.

Harley progress pics! Swipe to see how it started vs how it’s going 😊 I’ve sat on this costume for so long, it was time to finish her properly. I didn’t like the fit of the first dress, so I bought a cheap ‘corseted’ dress, chopped it up, added probably 20m of glitter tulle, then chopped up the original and attached the bottom skirt half to the newly done upper portion! I added more tulle again to the lower half, and the arm things. All up I’ve probably added 60m of glitter tulle into this 😂 All hand sewn 😅 I’ve now straightened out a bit and styled the wig (from @wigisfashionde ), and have printed some tattoos! Onto the petticoat again next, then the javelin at a later date! Part 3 and the final steps in finishing my mask!

I painted the backs of some glass cabochons (leftover from the long furby days, but that's a whole nother story) and superglued them in place. Then the whole thing got a coat of mod podge.

On the inside of the mask I soaked some cotton sheets in the mod podge and plastered them on, overlapping them. I think this added some needed support since the cardstock base was struggling to hold the weight of the clay. I also glued some sheer black fabric behind the eyes.

This not one of my cosplays I will be wearing, but I made this Aurora based on the art by @luztapiaart for my friend @ogbubblequeen for Katsucon! I am in the group with her but my character is Belle💖All of this I made using supplies off Amazon, including the base dress. I have done this for all my Katsucon cosplays this year. The main alterations was I took the fabric for the straps by making the leg slit widder. I also bought two shalls and put them together to make one bigger one, and I dyed those by hand. Part 2 of the process of making my Mysterious Stranger Mask!

I had to buy more clay and could only find Plus instead of the FIMO I used for the rest. It was not as strong!

For the handle details I wrapped wire around the dowel and sculpted a tin foil base. I added some dots and spaces for glass cabochons just for a little detail since I was scaling it up so dramatically. These cracked and broke a lot while drying but I eventually got it to work.
