Crowley as Nebulas part 6: Snake on a Galactic Plane!!

again, i’m aware, not technically a nebula but i saw this on the James Webb telescope website and HAD to

anyway if anyone’s interested, this is what the Spitzer website has to say about it:

“The snake-like object is actually the core of a thick, sooty cloud large enough to swallow dozens of solar systems. In fact, astronomers say its "belly" may be harboring beastly stars in the process of forming.”

crowley used the metal tool in season 1 to start time, and we learn that he's used it first to start space. to create the stars -- he still remembers how. he still remembers all of heaven's passwords: in the book crowley is described as an optimist because he has the "utter surety... that the universe would look after him". not god, but the universe. and of course he does: he helped create it and he's looking after it, too.

think about it: aziraphale had a sword, but crowley is about to face satan who wants to destroy the world, and crowley's only weapon is a tool of creation

ok so the thing is, the kiss really was the best way crowley knew to convey his feelings to aziraphale because nina and maggie were right, they do talk but they never say what they mean.

but that doesn’t mean they don’t understand each other, at least to a certain extent.

and crowley knows aziraphale

he knows that he loves books and plays and the stories made by humanity. he watches his angel learn magic the human way and finds out he learned french the human way and knows better than anyone how much he loves human food. he throws a ball to get nina and maggie together because that’s what the humans in jane austen novels would do.

crowley knows that aziraphale romanticizes humanity, loves the drama and the stories and every little thing that makes humans human.

and what could be more human than a desperate kiss asking someone to stay

Crowley As Nebulas part 4: NGC 602!

i saw this one and immediately thought of a painting (?) of Fenrir’s (Loki and Angrboda’s middle child) profile with a sword stickin gb through it, which made me think of Crowley’s head inside of a snake’s mouth, so here we are!! i added some chains last minute because i thought it looked cool (i’m also pretty proud of them ngl)

also yes i am aware that NGC 602 is technically a star cluster and not a nebula but it’s IN a nebula so it’s close enough

The photo is a bit blurry and there are better ones if you look it up :] if you can’t see it, that’s because it’s only part of the image (it looks like a set of fangs inside another set of fangs, or possibly one set of fangs at an upward angle)
