Can i request a drabble with Newbie Assistant reader! x jing yuan? I've been thinking (daydreaming) abt this for a while with my delulu brain. From what qingzu says, he prefers everyone adress him as jing yuan. And not full title.

Where reader is his wife and he can't go 1 minute without hugging her and worst part, she works at the seat of divine foresight and everyone at the seat has to witness his love sick behavior. I imagine especially fu xuan will be pissed like 'get to work, general!'

A/n: Anon you got my gears turning with this food and you have successfully dragged me out of the hole of writer's block. Thank you for that and I really hope you enjoy this little drabble I made, specifically for the second prompt! Man I love this man I wanna eat him. Just imagine him with a wife that's also on the strict side and just knows to get him back to his work but he just wants another kiss before he lets her leave his embrace-

Content: female reader, fluff, drabble

Big arms find their place around her waist and before she can pluck them off, Jing Yuan has slotted himself against her back. His chin rested on top of her shoulder and his golden eyes sluggish dragged their gaze over the documents his lovely wife was working on sorting out. A signature smile remained plastered over his lips even when he felt the scolding words bubble in your throat.

He never shared her shyness, as he called it, in the workplace. It was nothing that could damage either of their reputation, a little bit of hugging and a few cheek kisses here and there - if anything, he held firm belief that more warm displays of affection could even make the workplace be less stagnant. Why does everyone have to be so stiff? Jing Yuan knew to not cross any boundaries that could make his affections be perceived as something odd or even bad. But in an empty office, like the state it was in now, where no one paid them any mind, he really couldn’t help but pounce at the opportunity.

“Have you finished your paperwork so soon today, General?” she’d bite at him with her words, fully familiar with his tendencies to neglect the piling papers on his desk.

“Certainly. For today I have done the amount my hands could endure” Jing Yuan responded with a peck to the side of her exposed neck, smiling into her skin when he smelled some of his soap there. She smelled so warm, so relaxing, and it made him squeeze her in his arms just a little more. He heard his love exhale at his squeeze, and despite the facade she tried to keep on, he could see traces of a smile on her pretty lips when he lifted his gaze. “And what did we say about name calling? I’m Jing Yuan to you, your white lion, your husband, am I not?” He playfully nips at her ear, his warm breath fanning across her skin and making her hairs stand on their ends. “Or have you decided to take back your vows all of a sudden?” That gains a reaction out of you, a huff of a chuckle flying past your mouth at the absurd way he delivered that question. He sounded so serious about it, offended even, making her shift in his embrace.

“Jing Yuan-”

“You just keep gaining more beauty, my love, do you know?”

A long sigh and her shaking her head tell him enough, and he smiles when he sees her smile. “Don’t try to weasel your way out of this. Unhand me now, my dearest husband-” she says it as if she hates it, swatting at his hands until their grip falters. She could swat at them all she wanted but she knew that getting him off of her in this instant would be like trying to separate a nail from the flesh. “You may have done what you think is all for today, but I have more work to get to.. Tell you what..” her eyes finally grace him with the attention of her gaze and he feels like kissing her again, but he refrains as to hear her out. “If you tend to all those papers I’ll pamper your scoundrel self once we are back home, hm? If you don’t, well you can expect the cold shoulder and the couch as your bedroom until it gets done”

“You are too cruel to me, my dear, you hurt me so..” he feigns offense, all while he leans in and litters her cheek with feather kisses before he finally gets to her lips. One of his hands had snuck its way up and held her other cheek in its palm, tilting her head towards him as he pressed his lips against hers.

"You know I must resort to rougher measures when you're slacking off-" "Shhh.." he hushes her and places another kiss to her mouth.

Safe to say, that paperwork did get done later. And Jing Yuan got to enjoy a really touchy afternoon with you in his arms.

secondly, i agree with you on all the things you had to say !! i was once in your shoes, and if i’m being completely honest, a part of me is still navigating this as well. like some things i still question for example is if there is rlly nothing wrong with this, why do i feel the need to hide that i read/write? but for the most part, rn i am definitely set on there being absolutely nothing wrong with this! i can definitely see where these other ppl are coming from if they had never thought much of fanfiction or reader inserts etc. bc it’s probably similar to how i felt before being more exposed to fanfiction. but imo these are fantasies i just imagine in my head anyway and are almost like dreams to me yk? and so imo, they’re harmless. in fact, writing and reading ffs help grow my creativity, which is smth i value. cuz not only am i doing this for entertainment, i’m also doing it for the art (this is in terms of writing more so than reading but can still apply to both). however, similar to you, i do believe that imagines can be taken too far, as that is what aligns with my beliefs, such as nsfw fics (which is not anything personal at all to nsfw writers!). that imo can be harmful for the mind and spirit etc. (sorry if this is getting too deep and personal 😭)

ugh this is honestly so nice to talk about and have someone relate to on this cuz literally the things you are saying describe me !!! and dw, i have and never had any love life,, it’s non existent, believe it or not! so dw, you’re not alone 😭 like we can be delulu tgt 😭😭 and ahahaha yesss like i can’t tell you the amount of times i considered deleting this app or stopping writing/reading. it was challenging to process. but after doing so, i have come to the conclusions i mentioned earlier (how i think reading sfw fics are harmless). it’s literally just a form of harmless entertainment lol so i don’t see why ppl have to be so judgmental about it and can’t just mind their own business 😭 so dw, coming from a fellow reader and someone who has faced the same dilemma, you are not at all a freak 😭 and don’t let anyone let you think otherwise 😤☹️

Marques Houston: How “Cancellation” Transforms A Fan’s Listening Experience

Beyonce once spoke on how social media and celebrity culture transform how consumers enjoy their work. Instead of judging their art, we now begin to feel their work based on what we know about their lives. As time has passed and information has become more accessible, visibility of how fans directly finance luxurious celebrity lifestyles has transitioned music fans to investors. And investors have a right to know what their funds are allocated to, right?

The average person may say R. Kelly’s cancellation has changed their listening experience the most (and rightfully so. He’s paved the way for so many to be canceled after him). However, in my world of delulu, Marques Houston’s cancellation has been one of the most uncanny. With the compilation of revelations of his 20-year age-gap marriage with a formerly missing teenager, his proximity to Chris Stokes, his sexual abuse allegations from B2K member Raz B, and his recent dissolution of the fake brotherhood he once shared with Omarion has simply baffled me.

Many laugh when I tell them how much of an avid admirer of Marques Houston’s musical catalog I am. However, from an investor’s standpoint I’m extremely disappointed and couldn’t give one Chuck E. Cheese token towards a tour or any branded merchandise to support the things I know to be true. Yet I would be a liar if I didn’t tell you if “Do You Mind” isn’t #43 on my most played song of 2022 on Apple Music. In similar R.Kelly fashion, his work has spanned over decades from his days as a member of Immature to the 2000s as he transitioned to be a solo artist. And to add insult to injury, he’s played pivotal roles in film and television from playing Roger in “Sister,Sister” to playing Elgin in “U Got Served”.

Many people scoff at the “separate the art for the artist” mindset because supporting problematic artists’ work enables their problematic behavior to flourish and capability to harm others. However, the gift and curse of today’s music consumption model of streaming disrupts the once lucrative business model it once was. As we see time and time again, without a true, die-hard fan supporting artists directly in purchasing their merchandise or concert tickets, an artist suffers. Unfortunately, my #43 spot on my Replay 2022 playlist on Apple Music will not subsidize Marques’s lifestyle in the same way if I bought the Naked album in 2005. What both artists and fans/investors have to remember is that music is art and art can be a form of therapy. The memories of singing “Naked” on repeat to my ex in high school on Facetime or adding “Exclusively” and “I Don’t Mind” to my love manifestation playlist to reframe what love looked like in my life in my budding adulthood will never change. His music is associated to so many moments in my life and his talent is undeniable. However, like streaming, social media has been a gift and a curse as well. It had been a tool for fans to better connect with artists yet a microscope to highlight their darkest moments we may have never known if it occurred in 1975.

As celebrity culture is dying as it becomes more accessible to an array of influencers and a plethora of random viral sensations, celebrities rely on public image and likeability to create die-hard fans to support their livelihood in an impactful way. Artists are simply humans with humanistic qualities who just happen to be famous. On the other hand, as regular people are battling the economic landscape post-pandemic coupled with the crippling state of inflation, any dollar a fan puts toward an artist is a huge investment. As music is therapy for most people, fans want to financially and morally support celebrities they identify with and who inspire them. As artists keep that in mind in their work, they’ll understand behaving ethically and morally in today’s social climate is vital to thrive in the music business and to preserve a fan’s listening experience.

Hella random but atp my coworkers all know I wear my kpop boy of my choosing in a pc holder at work. And usually I like to play delulu with my idols (in a joking way ofc) but one of the few idols I love to death but rarely joke about romantically is Bobby (for obvious reasons). Lately I wear his pc and I was telling my coworker (who likes kpop but isn’t a huge huge stan kinda just casual) of a fantasy I have when I see ikon on tour, Bobby jumps into the crowd and compliments my piercing (lmao again delulu) and she was indulging my fantasy and was like omg I love that for u then you’ll get married & have a bunch of kids. And I was like NO HE’S MARRIED I WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO SIS IN LAW!! And I briefly told her how most iKONics were so quick to just take on the aunt/uncle role for Bobby’s kid and welcome his wife with open arms and she was super shocked & also touched at that. And it just reminded me how cool iKONics are. kirimi is ( like in canon ) one of the executives of mindy corporation ( or mdcr ) and is the head scientist and engineer ( he is also a doctor , but he does not actively work in that field . although he does posses vast medical knowledge . this will be important later ) . he is a rich egotistical man who sees people as disposable tools for his own gain . he is physically very weak so he hires bodyguards and assassins to work for him and do his dirty work , but he switches them out constantly because his paranoia grips at his throat like barbed wire . he will order to kill business rivals , competitors , threats , or people who know a little bit too much about him for his liking . he smokes , drinks , whatever impulsive behavior you can think of he has probably done it before . he is transmasc btw very important information

he has a strange obsession with charms , and he is the most impulsive buyer you will ever see . he has an office where he keeps most of his antiques , and a personal laboratory where he does experiments ( will also be important later ) which no one else but him is allowed to enter . he also has his own section of the facility , but that area is not off limits . it is deserted most of the time though . most people at mdcr find him eerie and creepy in a strange way , despite him being a very important figure in the company , and people looking up to him . there are rumors about him ( kirimi knows . he watches the security camera footage constantly ) and he finds it really amusing when people make bets over who is going to be hand delivering kirimis documents to his office next .

I feel like ppl have taken on the label “psychotic” as more of a thing that’s like .. fun and quirky .. a silly community word.. not even related to schizospec or actual psychotic disorders.. as in its really lost its meaning as a serious word for serious disorders .. very very watered down and misunderstood

I feel like some of them ID as psychotic and not any specific psychotic disorder because they literally don’t even have one and just see the term as some fun community thing - LIKE not even researching psychotic disorders or psychosis(except for trusting random info about it from threads and carrds by kids on Twitter) they just immediately take on this label as if it doesn’t signify a serious disorder. They take on the label psychotic as if it’s like a xenogender which someone can quickly shop for and id with lol. I really feel like that’s why I see no one who has their specific psychotic disorder listed or says they’re schizospec .. bc they don’t even take the time to look into it .. they also just don’t see psychotic as serious at all they do not take it seriously …(it’s totally fine if u are psychotic and that’s all u wanna say on it though.. ive just gotten to a point where MANY “psychotics” I see are just fictionkin in denial who are hurting the communities.. the word has left a bad taste in my mouth)

i don't think there's anything wrong with simply IDing as psychotic, having psychotic symptoms, or otherwise being vague about your identity/conditions. that's fine. that's what i do! but that's not what these people are doing (at least, not for the most part.) many of them describe themselves to be delusional but having no other psychotic symptoms... which means, if they are only delusional, they're not psychotic. they have 1 positive symptom. to have a psychotic disorder i'm pretty sure you need to have 2 or 3 positive symptoms (cant remember exact number but it's not just 1.) so... if they are delusional - which most of them are likely not, and are likely just Fictionkin as you mentioned - they would have delusional disorder, not be psychotic. not only are they using "psychotic" as a fun silly light-hearted community thing, but they're also using it as a blanket term in the wrong context (thus spreading misinformation.)

a major problem here is like you said, they seem to be getting most of their information through small twitter threads rather than listening to actual psychotic people and reading actual articles on it. i've seen some people claim to be authorities on a subject simply because they have the experience and.... no. having the experience is only half of what you "need" to be an authority on a subject, no matter what the subject is. i'm queer and i know very little about queer history, which means i'm a really horrible authority on that subject. i can sure talk to you about my experience, but beyond that i'm no help and i would never pretend to be; my experience isn't universal and to cite only my experience when talking about other things, that's just... such a terrible and harmful idea. mentioning here again that half of them straight up admit to having never experienced any form of psychosis, they don't have anything.

but they're kids. i am all for kids trying to figure out who they are, where they fit into the world, whatever. that's a really important development phase. but it's not fair to harm an already heavily stigmatized and oppressed group in the process.

i fear deeply that this will become another "kin VS. 'Kin" at some point where they will try to claim the word has taken on a new alternative meaning. but hopefully it doesn't get to that point and in a few years when these kids grow up, the D/A community will die with them growing out of it.

At the time I had NO idea it was wrong. I logged off and after 5 hours I log in and there was a WAR for that ONE gif. The big blog had me blocked and her friend was telling me to take it off. As soon as the person told me I did IMMEDIATELY and apologized againa and again and told them to tell the original gif maker to deblock me as I want to apologize directly and that they can block me after that. They did and I apologized but they just kept insulting me. Of course it was MY mistake and that’s why I apologized. But for them. for a mere gif (yes I say a mere gif because I made so many gifs and they were used on all platforms but I never thought it was necessary to hate that much on someone like they did to me). That blog was big and had big blog mutuals. Thanks to that, I became someone you do NOT become mutuals with but block and never reblog content from. Without any big mutuals. Without any shoutouts. Only my love for BTS, my dear followers’ support and my hard work.. My blog, became bigger and FAST (I got 10k in less than 6 months after I started) and that brought loads of jealousy and thus more rumors. Even if, I apologized and since then made my own gifs. I was very sad when he was gone and ANGRY mostly. Why is this angel leaving? Why is someone like me still here? Why did I not leave instead of him? How much did he suffer? And in the midst I posted a post from twitter that stated how agencies usually put down pple with mental illiness and hide it in the industry. Yes, that was important but NOT at that time. I shouldn’t have posted that and I realized after 5 min of doing so that it was WRONG. So I deleted it FAST but it kept being reblogged and I kept getting hate and people telling me: “Go kill yourself”... the sad part is that I almost did as my answer was “true ... why am I still here?” I apologized and logged off then to this day won’t forget crying at 3 AM while walking outside next to my dad. I was outside as I couldn’t breathe anymore and the idea of seeing the walls of my room was hell. I cried and cried and the teary eyes that my father looked at me with are something I am ashamed of to this day. To add one more thing while I am spilling the beans. I hate learning about someone dying. My grandma passed away sometime before that and it was so shocking to me. and some people came and told me when I was mourning her: Go follow that bitch of grandmother of yours. And for what? At that moment I didn’t think I would live to see the next year but I went to therapy and took medecine that was hurting and made me shake all day just to turn somewhat sane. No one knew tho ... I smiled all day and cried all night.. Even on the blog I fought no one of the ones who hated me. I just blocked them but even that was an insult to them?

Again, you said no one should defend me. Yet, you were ready to fight whoever touched anyone around you. What about changing your URL to beautifulassirony

Also THE hypocrisy. If you are sorry then why are you answering an ask of someone isulting someone you want to apologize to? Just make a post wher you apologize or ignore it from the start?

One more thing but surely not the last. You said you were good with research which you are NOT. So, let me show you what an OG detective ARMY can do. But first, as I was scrolling I saw some of your “work” (let’s not even talk about those gifs) and I am just giving my point of view here: I hate how you painted Namjoon as this horny-idiotic-make-dog. Hi, it's the ~UGH~ anon (not sure I wanna be called that way but for now it'll do!) I'm sorry that you spend most of your time dealing with hateful anons so I thought I'd share an unpopular opinion since it's the point of your blog I believe.

IF jikook is/was dating, I think it happened in early 2019 and at the end of 2020 and that both times it didn't last more than a few months. And that little people knew. The other member's behavior to me make it very obvious. Hobi seems to know stuff we don't, possibly Taehyung as well, but the others' reactions to jikook are just too genuine to be an act. When yoongi said 'it looks like what a couple would do' when jikook talked about the fight in the rain, it's pretty clear he's not thinking they actually are one. When jimin wrote the letter to Jungkook to make him say he's his copycat and Jin was like 'I'm sure it's something touching', he's definitely doing a bad job at protecting the closeted couple if that's what he's supposed to do.

I know those are small details maybe but they're too telling to ignore, I remember how upset it made me at the time because I really wanted for jikook to be real and the members were blowing holes in my ship T_T' Now I'm fine with jikook being whatever they want to be and I can actually think back to all the little things that bothered me before and accept them for what they are. I think many shippers prefer to twist or ignore altogether things like this. (definitely not only jikookers because other ships have way more holes and they're still sailing apparently!)

That being said, jikook give off a ~~vibe~~, that is literally impossible to deny. And I think that the problem with some shippers is that they can't just appreciate the vibe for what it is. They don't want to be delulu, they don't want to just have the 'feeling' that jikook are a thing. So they have to make it make sense in a logical manner, I guess. But it's ok to just have a gut feeling. It's actually more trustworthy than interpretations of very incomplete facts. Theories are fine. Turning them into assumptions is not.

Anyway I could go on forever because I have a ton of things to say about both jikook and shippers but I'll stop there for now. See u later ;)

Overwhelmingly, I receive more support than hate, which I'm thankful for, but the hate does sound a lot more excessive for the "crime" that I'm committing. C'est la vie!

Thank you for sharing your (unpopular?) opinion! It's an interesting takeaway for sure, and I don't really know what to think of it LOL. Which is a good thing, I suppose. I guess I'd say I probably don't agree with your opinion that they could've been dating on-and-off. I think one could argue that because they're such a tight-knit group, that they could overcome breakups (if that really was a thing), but I'm not totally convinced of that.

To me, at least, it'd be weird to show the kind of affection they have since then. People, in general, can become more comfortable with each other after a breakup, after they've resolved their issues, because they know each other so well and no longer have an ego or suppressed feelings involved. Sometimes, this allows couples to reconnect with a new perspective and can engage in a relationship stronger than when they first started dating. It's something that can definitely occur, but honestly? Jungkook and Jimin don't really strike me as the type of people who could break up and not have their heart on their sleeves for a long time, even in front of the camera. At the very least, I have a hard time believing they'd be able to engage with each other in the manner they do if they were dating and then broke up. (But it's worth noting that I'm saying this based on how I perceive them, and maybe they would be okay with it. I don't know, I'm not them.)

If there's an idea I'm willing to entertain short of Jikook dating one another, it's the idea that there is a silent agreement between them that exhibiting behavior akin to dating without actually dating is acceptable. That's not to say they're in a FWB situation because I don't think they're fucking each other in secret (personally don't even want to entertain that at all because that's a huge violation of boundaries). A flirtationship, if you will. Gay culture in Korea, as we all know, is still not on the same level as western culture, and that's the looming shadow in any K-pop ship narrative.

I don't know. Their interaction varies from one end of the spectrum to another--purely platonic to extremely questionable--which is why I'm firmly in the Schrödinger's Jikook camp. I'm coining it, it's officially a thing now on my blog, because that is the best way to describe how I feel about Jikook. 😂

Anyway, thank you for your submission! I really enjoyed what you had to say, and this was probably one of the "harder" asks I've received because I really had to think about it. I really love asks like these that make me think about my own stance on something. Feel free to chat anytime, anon!
