I personally hate talking about my health issues online but I have an infection again, thanks to my autoimmune disease. It might go away on its own with the usual regiment I take to combat it, but it might not. To be ready for any potential doctor appointments and surgeries (yes, plural sadly) please help if you can as I don't have insurance or any assistance. I have paid divinations and paid devotionals open for any that want something in return.

(I hc him as an athiest or agnostic who’s closest peers are people of faith and he tries so hard to understand but cannot connect with religion, fears he can’t understand this piece of them, like an outsider to faith and that peace in their features when they talk about it. c!tommy with lady prime, c!quackity with something akin to Catholicism that he can’t remember the origins of, c!techno a pagan/pantheist acting with several deities, c!phil a pagan). inspired by this and this and @ghosts-and-blue-sweaters . Something something mirroring the behaviors of his closest friend that bring him comfort to see if anything will work at this point. Taking it seriously at first and then getting embarrassed with himself when he doesn’t hear a voice back. Have you ever felt you haven't prayed enough or felt dissatisfied? We struggle to focus, we are distracted, we wrestle with wandering minds and we feel frustrated. This doesn't mean you are failing in some way, it only indicates that there's desire for more. More time spent in His presence, more of Jesus in your life, more of a deeper fellowship with His Spirit. Instead of getting discouraged and giving up, ask the Holy Spirit to help you and guide you into a deeper relationship with God. Then your prayer life will be more fulfilling and even exciting.

They will not punish you for the crime of being human. They know you are not divine. They know you are imperfect. They do not expect greatness and perfection, they just expect respect and humility.

Stay humble. Stay consistent. Show your reverence in whatever way you can. Keep them in your thoughts before you go to sleep at night.

The Gods know you.

I’m offering paid devotional writing prompts of a deity and their epithet/aspect/domain you want to be covered in prayers, hymns, or poetry (and non-religious poetry as an option so long as I’m given a topic like the rest). Any request can be sent over tumblr for an ask or dm (or my discord if you have it/or want it), or on ko-fi. Just remember to say whether you want it posted or kept private for your eyes alone. I’m fine with either, it’s up to the individual.

I will not do anything regarding figures from closed religions (which means individuals like Lilith and so on). I will not budge on this especially if you’re outside of the religion for obvious reasons. I’ll still take requests for free pieces, but they won’t have the same priority and speedy delivery as paid ones. To check out my previous works, the tag /my writing is chock-full of examples to skim through.

Gentle reminder as we go into 2024 to please practice fire safety when giving offerings. If you have live candles and incense on your altar, never leave them unattended, and always keep a bowl of water nearby for safely extinguishing any lit matches, incense sticks, or other flammable items. You can even get fancy and have a dedicated water bowl if you must, but be safe. Fire is pretty, but dangerous.
