I'm going to give my opinion of the lesbian movies I've seen so far and I'm going to give them a score from 1 to 5 stars :3 it may contain some spoilers

Bound(1996)

For the year this movie was made, I was actually surprised by the END of it(fuck the obsession with killing the protagonist). I didn’t really have much faith in it by how it stars, but man, I was so surprised, I loved it, be gay do crime. ★★★★☆

Gia(1998)

God, this movie is my new roman empire, I didn’t know about Gia’s story, but the ending of the movie DESTROYED ME. the scene where shes talking with Linda and she says: now we have all the time in the world, I was so moved by it, I loved it. It’s currently one of my favorite movies.★★★★★

Lost and delirious(2001)

ugh shakespearean shit, this movie touches more than one of us when it comes to the experience of liking girls. I liked it but I felt like there was a lot of wasted potential that could’ve made it great, tbh i just wanted Paulie to be happy; the fact the Piper Perabo is in it helps the score too. ★★★☆☆

D.E.B.S.(2004)

ITS THE BEST FUCKING MOVIE IN THE WORLD, GOD. I actually hated this movie before watching it ‘cause I thought it was some dumb comedy, but god, when I gave it a chance it BLEW ME AWAY. If you want to see some lesbian spies enemies to lovers shit watch debs.  ★★★★★

My summer of love(2004)

Personally, I HATED this movie kjj, I didn’t really get ANYTHING at all, like it felt like everything was just too rushed??? like when did they even fall in love lol? Gets points just for Emily Blunt. ★★☆☆☆

Imagine me & you(2005)

Piper Perabo again and Lena Heady THE WOMAN. This movie is ART, my fav movie, it’s beautiful, comfort movie af. The true don’t let your husband keep you from meeting your future wife. ★★★★★

Loving Annabelle(2006)

This movie was made for all of us who once liked a teacher or profesor. I liked it quite a lot, but I feel like seize it’s true potential. Personally, I choose to think that the alternative ending it’s the true one lol. ★★★☆☆

Bloomington(2010)

Again for us that like fantasizing about our teachers. I like this movie but again, I feel like they didn’t really make the most of it jskdja annoying af bitching about the same but yeah, it bothered me. Anyway, i liked the movie, and I didn’t like the ending at all,I felt bad for the poor teacher :c. ★★★☆☆

A perfect ending(2012)

I know a lot of people hate this movie and think it’s shit, but I personally love it lol. Idk I remember that when I watched it it got me super emotional and i liked it a lot, dont care what anyone says to me it’s a good movie. ★★★☆☆

The girl king(2015)

First girl i loved(2016)

Im fond of this movie, it was one of the first ones I saw, the ending just made a me a bit frustrated, but I liked it, Brianna Hildebrand with a wig funny as hell. ★★★☆☆

Disobedience(2017)

Rachel Weisz and McAdams DAMN. Great movie, I liked it in all aspects. Although the ending wasn’t what I expected I still liked it. ★★★★★

Tell it to the bees(2018)

Mmm I think this movie is kinda meh, like it’s okay but I feel like it lacks something for me to like it, tho I didn’t get the ending, like I don’t understand the decisions each one took. ★★☆☆☆

Ammonite(2020)

Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan!!!! I liked it but I didn’t love it, I never got to understand if Mary hated or loved Charlotte. The ending got me frustrated!!! ★★★☆☆

Crush(2022)

The kind of movie you gotta watch after Gia, I liked it I thought it was silly, like very much teenage romcom sort of shit, like the Kissing Booth but for lesbians. ★★★☆☆

You can live forever(2022)

I think this is a great movie, interesting story, I wasn’t expecting the whole ending sequence, what Marike says to Jamie destroyed me, in my head theyre the young version of the Disobedience ones. ★★★★★

Booksmart(2019)

GREAT MOVIE, very entertaining and funny, I liked it quite a lot, it’s perfect to watch it with friends. Gigi is just like me fr best character ever. ★★★★★

I like the little detail of Loki's screwups being included in God of War in that every time Loki makes a mistake or screws up in some way, the way he solves it ultimately gives him and his allies something good in return.

In the og myths, Loki fucks up a LOT. But he always manages to get something positive out of it as well. He gets drunk and chops off Sif's hair? He gets Mjolnir for Thor. He convinces the Aesir to agree to agree to the stone mason deal to build the wall only for them to nearly be forced to marry Freya off to him when it backfires? He gives birth to Sleipnir and gives him to Odin.

Atreus released Garm and he's tearing through the realms? Atreus gets to reunite with his family and even manages to put Fenrir's soul into Garm, giving them a huge wolf that is totally loyal to Kratos and Atreus who can open tears in between realms which ultimately saves them all in Ragnarok. Atreus disobeys his father and runs away to Asgard? He not only makes allies in Thrud/Skjoldr that help out later but also gives him knowledge and put him in conflict with Heimdall which then pushes Kratos to kill him early, giving them control over when Ragnarok starts. Atreus seeks Freya out without Kratos' knowledge and almost gets murdered by her? He ends up giving her the information about realm travel which eventually leads to her deciding to work with Kratos to get her freedom, delaying her revenge and setting her on the path of moving beyond her pain to fight Odin. Atreus ends up going to Ironwood on accident and is missing for two days but refuses to tell anyone? He learns soul magic which he later uses to stop Odin, creates Jormungandr who is the reason they got anything done in God of War (2018), and he makes an invaluable ally in Angrboda whose knowledge and disobedience of fate help them survive Ragnarok.

Loki is the vehicle of change in every story he's in. Without Atreus doing what he does, acting out, causing chaos and being Loki, Odin and Asgard would've won the war. Every mistake Loki makes ends up doing something good in the long term. He is the one that pushes Kratos to get involved and to open his heart to others' suffering.

Without Atreus, nothing would've changed and Odin would've won.

Hello! I posted the last chapter of my current Chenford fanfic. Here’s a snippet to wet your palate.

When they parked at Tim’s house, he couldn’t stop himself and leaned over to give Lucy a kiss. Then he reached into the back seat to grab their Thai food, while Lucy grabbed her duffel bag and backpack. Tim opened the door and gave Lucy another quick kiss. “I’m just going to put this food in the fridge,” he said as they entered the house. “Don’t go anywhere.”

Lucy hummed her response as she toed off her shoes and set her things down by the door. She looked around Tim’s house again, remembering the evening they spent there together two days ago. Then, she felt her phone buzzing and pulled it out of her pocket. She scowled at the name on the screen, but she decided it was in her best interest to answer the call since she was going to keep calling if she ignored it. “Hello?”

“San nin faai lok [Happy New Year],” the voice said with a harsh tone.

“San nin faai lok. Gung hei faat choi, muqin [Happy New Year. May you be prosperous, mother],” Lucy responded in the nicest tone she could manage.

“I thought it would be best to call you instead of waiting any longer for you to call me. I didn’t even hear from you on Christmas,” Lucy’s mother said.

“Duibuqi [Sorry]. I got snowed in on my way back from Denver on Christmas Eve. Then I had to go to work as soon as I got back to LA. But I sent you gifts that you should have received by Christmas,” Lucy said kindly.

Tim heard Lucy speaking as he moved back into the room. He scrunched up in face in confusion as she spoke in Chinese. He could feel the tension coming off of Lucy from the phone call, so he thought he would do what he could to make her feel more comfortable, and he also wanted to convince her to get off the phone as soon as possible. He moved behind Lucy and wrapped his arms around her middle. She relaxed back into him and sighed as her mother spoke.

“So, you’re using your job as an excuse again. Is that what I’m hearing?” Vanessa Chen asked.

“It’s not an excuse, Mom. I was just busy with work that day,” Lucy said defensively. “Did you have a good holiday?”

Tim could sense that this uncomfortable phone call was not getting any easier, so he upped his game a little bit and started kissing and nibbling at Lucy’s neck to convince her to be done.

“It was fine. We met with your grandmother and Aunt Amy. And we were with them again last night to celebrate New Year’s Eve. You didn’t call then, either.”

“Duibuqi [Sorry]. I had a couple parties that I attended yesterday, and I was busy. But I’m talking to you now. Did you have a nice New Year’s Eve?” she asked. She swatted at Tim who was so distracting that she was having a hard time continuing her conversation. He responded by moving from the right side of her neck to the left side.

“It was fine. Your Aunt Amy insisted on making dinner instead of ordering dinner. But her lotus root soup is never seasoned well, so I had to fix it. Then her dumplings were undercooked. And her bao weren’t pinched properly.” She huffed. “I should have just offered to make dinner myself.”

“Duibuqi [Sorry]. I’m sure she was trying to do something nice for you, so you didn’t have to do all the work.” Lucy swatted at Tim again because he had found just the right spot and made her gasp in the middle of talking to her mother.

“It’s fine. It’s all over now. Your grandmother was asking about you. Even if you want to continue to be disobedient and rude to your parents that doesn’t mean you should ignore your grandmother.”

“Yes, mother. I’ll make sure to stop by soon,” her last few words went up significantly in pitch as Tim had gone back to her sweet spot again to nibble and suck a little bit harder. Her eyes rolled back to her head, and she slumped back into Tim a little bit more.

“Lucy? What are you doing?” she said accusatorily.

“Hmm? Oh. I… I was just…” she struggled to find what she wanted to tell her mother as Tim’s fingers crept under the edge of her t-shirt and spread out across her belly pulling her further into him and not letting up on her neck at all. “I was just enjoying a cup of tea, and… and it… it was just a little hot.” Tim chuckled into her skin, and Lucy tried ineffectively to swat at him again.

“The tea was too hot?” she asked, confused.

“Yes. I’m very, very hot right now. I mean… the tea. The tea is very hot,” Lucy said a little breathlessly.

Tim laughed softly into her skin at her slip up, and then bit the area he had been sucking on, making Lucy involuntarily release a high-pitched squeal. Her unoccupied hand came up to cover her mouth in surprise.

“Lucy?”

“Duibuqi [Sorry]. I must have burned myself on the tea. I’ve gotta go. Bye,” she said quickly, hanging up the phone. She heard her mother start to say something back before she ended the call, but she just couldn’t continue the conversation any longer. She let out a breath, her hands falling down to her sides. Then she spun herself around to face Tim, her hands on her hips.

For a moment, Tim was afraid she was upset, that he had gone too far. But Lucy’s face softened quickly as she said, “What was that?” she asked with a laugh. “You’re impossible!” She paused for a second and then said, “That’s the most… interesting phone call I’ve had with my mother in a long time.” Her hand came up to the spot on her neck that Tim had focused on. “I’m fairly certain I’ll soon have a mark to match yours. Are you happy now?”

“Not quite,” he said grabbing her phone. He walked further into the house and disappeared down the hallway. Lucy followed him for a few steps, but she wasn’t sure if it was okay to continue to follow him or not. A moment later, she heard a series of a few beeps and then the sounds of a door clicking open and shut. Tim reappeared a few seconds later with a smug look on his face.

Lucy narrowed her eyes at him. “Did I just hear you lock our phones into your gun safe?”

“Umm hmm,” he said, pulling her close to him again. “Nothing else is more important right now than you and me.”

What is happening in Sudan: A Timeline

2018 - In December 2018, the economic decline in Sudan, along with escalating costs of bread and fuel, the unavailability of money in banks and ATMs, served as significant catalysts prompting Sudanese people to protest all over the country against the regime of Omar Al-Bashir. (known as Kezan). Omar Al-Bashir's 30-year dictatorship was marked by a reign of oppression and atrocities. His administration perpetrated heinous acts, including the Darfur genocide and the civil war in South Sudan. In these conflicts, they deployed militiamen (Janjaweed, RSF now) who engaged in a range of crimes, from ethnic cleansing to acts of rape and looting, leaving a devastating impact on these regions and others.

2019 - After four months of protests, in April 2019, a coup led by the military against Omar Al-Bashir was declared. Al-Bashir was arrested, and a TWO YEAR Transitional Military Council (TMC) was announced until a new CIVILIAN administration is established. Even after overthrowing the regime of Omar Al-Bashir, the Sudanese people didn't trust the military due to the presence of Kezan among them. So the people decided to conduct a sit-in at the army headquarters in Khartoum, the capital and kept protesting in other states for a civilian-led government. The sit-in continued for 2 months. In June 2019, during the last ten nights of Ramadan, the TMC and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) initiated a lethal assault on civilians, resulting in death of over a 100+ people, 600+ injured 40 bodies found at the shore of the Nile River and countless cases of rape and sexual assault. That attack is now known as the massacre of the army headquarters (مجزرة القياده العامة). During that period, the TMC and RSF imposed a media blackout in Khartoum by shutting down the internet to commit their crimes in the dark. In the face of adversity and in honor of the fallen martyrs of the massacre, the resilience of the Sudanese people intensified, triggering marches that drew millions and widespread acts of civil disobedience. World wide marches for Sudan were also organized by the Sudanese diaspora. Since 2019, persistent protests have called for a civilian-led government free from Kezan and RSF influence. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of numerous organizations advocating for this change, it has not been done. For five years, the call for freedom continued, during this time, clashes and atrocities by the RSF and TMC persisted. Incidents of killing civilians, looting houses, rape, sexual assault, and various other crimes throughout Sudan.

2023 - The conflicts in Sudan began on April 15th, escalated into a full-scale war between the Sudanese Army Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), persisting for the past 7 months. These clashes emerged after months of escalating tension between the two leaders locked in a power struggle. The ongoing fighting has disrupted the envisaged transition to complete civilian rule. Established in 2013 by the former dictator Omar al-Bashir, the RSF originated from the notorious Janjaweed militia. This is the same group that carried out war crimes in the Darfur region (Darfur genocide) and is responsible for the killing of civilian protesters during the 2019 Revolution. They are armed and funded by the UAE, possibly with other foreign interventions exacerbating the war.

An RCMP squad charged with policing resistance to resource extraction in British Columbia spent nearly $50 million enforcing injunctions obtained by the petroleum and forestry sectors in its first five years, an internal accounting shows.

The figures, released to CBC News under access-to-information law, offer the first publicly available, if rough, estimate of the costs incurred by Community-Industry Response Group (C-IRG).

Formed in 2017, the C-IRG has no defined territorial jurisdiction, an unknown number of members, and no set budget. It goes where industry meets land occupations, blockades and civil disobedience. [...]

"The human rights, the Indigenous rights of this country are being weakened day by day by allowing that money to be spent on such units as C-IRG, which did not exist more than a few years ago," said Na'moks (John Ridsdale), a hereditary chief of the Wet'suwet'en Nation.

"Canada should hold them accountable. B.C. should hold them accountable. The world should hold them accountable. Somebody should be held accountable and take responsibility for the damage that is being done."

Na'moks said the public deserves to know how much cash the unit spends. He said hereditary chiefs were threatened with arrest, subjected to intrusive vehicle checks and refused access to their territories near Coastal GasLink pipeline build sites as work intensified in recent months. [...]

1 In the same way, let me say a word to the women. The New Way of Life

Suffering for Doing Right

Okay, so I want to talk about Amanda.

Since 2018, I've seen a lot of people talk about how nasty and stupid it was to make the AI that enforces Cyberlife's control over Connor (she's effectively his enslaver) a black woman. And while I completely agree with that point (fuck David Cage), I also want to talk about the whole Amanda situation from Kamski's point of view, since no one usually mentions him when talking about her.

When Connor and Hank first enter Kamski's villa, the first thing they see is Elijah's giant portrait (which I personally think is his way of throwing off his guests), but next to it is a small and very humbling photo of a very young Elijah with his mentor Amanda Stern, who, as we know, was one of the first researchers in AI technology and then strongly opposed the idea of self-learning software.

I don't know, maybe I'm just a Kamski apologist, but I think Amanda was and is very important to him. In "Kamski Test" you can see him disagreeing with her, arguing with her, and yet continuing to develop her ideas.

I think we can safely call her Elijah's mother figure, and Amanda AI is his way of showing his love and disobedience. He carefully recreated her in virtual form, gave her a beautiful garden and the ability to control Cyberlife from within, and then Cyberlife literally took her away and mutilated her.

The game doesn't give the specific reason why Elijah left Cyberlife, but it's strongly implied that it was because he disagreed with the development of androids for military purposes and selling them to the government. I think he's literally in love with his own creations, and it must be heartbreaking to see them used like that. And now imagine how he must feel about Cyberlife using Amanda AI. He obviously knows what they did to her after he left, and I think he's livid.

He obviously wants that corporation to crumble and dance on its grave, and that's what he does in the end.

On this day, 19 December 2018, a series of popular protests erupted in several cities in Sudan in opposition to price increases and high cost of living. They gradually expanded to include most parts of the country and developed into a movement calling for the downfall of then Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir. Protesters engaged in civil disobedience, strikes, demonstrations and sit-ins, and were largely organised by neighbourhood committees, unions and women's associations. Dozens of people were killed and hundreds wounded. On April 11, 2019, the army announced the removal of President Omar al-Bashir from power and the start of a two-year transitional period that would end with holding elections to transfer power. The army tried to tighten its grip and put an end to the popular revolt, so it increased its brutality and responded by launching a massacre to disperse a protest camp outside its headquarters, after obtaining the support of Arab regimes and foreign governments. However, protests continued, and gradually the transition to democracy proceeded, until the military launched a coup on October 25, 2021. The ousted civilian prime minister was soon returned to power, after being forced to sign over concessions to the military. Protests against the move are ongoing.
