I know everyone’s mad at Aziraphale right now because of how the season’s ended but I don’t think we’ve talked enough about the fact that Aziraphale has been keeping a diary for centuries (based on the fact the entry we see is from volume 603) and he literally starts his entries with “dear diary, last month Crowley and I both happened to be in Edinburgh”.

Friendly reminder that Crowley asked Aziraphale to run away with him before and Aziraphale told him that he had something to do (saving Earth), so this isn't new. Aziraphale is selfless by nature, and he will always put the world and other beings before himself. It was just unfortunate that he didn't see how much it hurt Crowley. And it was unfortunate that Crowley didn't understand why Aziraphale had to stay.

As Nina and Maggie said, they'd spent 6,000 years not talking about their feelings. So, it's no wonder that the first time they try to there was a load of miscommunication and things going unsaid.

David Tennant, Michael Sheen AND Neil Gaiman know these characters better than anyone, and I trust them. They've been very vocal about their love for one another.

Crowley and Aziraphale will be together again. They're soulmates. They're ineffable. But they're very bad at communicating with one another about their feelings. And we're all on the journey with them.

Yk, one of the things i can't stop thinking about good omens is just... them, in love with each other. For millenia. Specially on those last two hundred years, because i just felt like they got... extra close in them. It's like they spend their entire lives getting to know each other and figure out what they’re like and what they’re like together, and by the time Crowley asks for the holy water or they go to the cemetery in scotland, they already knew that. They were already in love, so it was just two to three centuries of being utterly married, and close and absolutely in love but not saying anything about it. Because they couldn't. Because of everything. So they just... suffered, in silence, and were simply happy for being able to be together
