Hey friend! :D Oo, good question! I can certainly try! :D

This is gonna get long so under the cut it goes! (Also spoiler warning for SK8!)

Langa: *inhales* SNOW BABY- absolute angel. I adore him so much akljerjkaejkrja. He looks absolutely incredible while skateboarding and his faces going from charmingly cool to hilariously squishy makes my entire lifespan. I love his story and how he found a new passion in life after his father died. And how he was kind to Adam (who didn't deserve it) and gently reminded him how Skating should be: fun. Also his bond with Reki (if they're not canonically boyfriends, they are now) is one of my favorites in anime alltogether. He's so great ahhhh! I can't wait to see what comes next for him in the future!

Reki: *another inhale* AHH! God I freaking LOVE Reki!!! Maybe it's just my luck with anime, but rarely do I find sporty ones where a character's strengths aren't just the sport itself, you know? I love how Reki shines in designing and crafting skateboards and in turn teaching Langa how to do it. He's fantastic at explaining things and his understanding for the best outcome in wheels and boards is brilliant. Not to mention he's an absolute DOLL of a person. He's funny and charming; full of energy and one of the most supportive characters we see! I love how his story is more of a self-introspective one. I'm curious to see what they'll do with him in season 2- Is he gonna work on getting better via a Rei-esque character or is he gonna take the Makoto-esque route and lean more into skateboard support? (I use Free! comparisons because that's what's on the brain right now lkaejkrajkerjk) Either way I love him so much; he's grand.

Joe: My HUSBAND! That voice? Golden. Those muscles? *screams in Gou kin* That face? *melts* Can't you tell I love our big ol' green man? Joe's so funny and supportive to the kiddos in the show- I love how much of a big brother he is to Langa and Reki; giving good talks before a race and sneaking them in to get food at Cherry's. Also he's a cook! His food always looks good! And we can't talk about Joe without talking about Cherry! God there dynamic is absolutely hilarious! They're the old married couple that god divorced before they even proposed but are still married.

Cherry: My OTHER HUSBAND (and also: Mama Squiggily's favorite! I showed her the beach day episode last night) Where do I even begin with this guy? He's like Joe in the sense that he's absolutely hilarious but in a more composed sense. His entire theme while skating as this shinobi like warrior with a cyberpunk twist is just- YES. Also he's hot. He's so freaking hot holy gods- I love how defensive he gets over Carla and how he's constantly bickering with Joe despite showing up and supporting his business by eating there (we love to see supportive husbands lets go!) Also his story with Adam made my heart hurt- prior to the board smack, he probably thought there would be some sense of their old friendship there; but of course there wasn't. I wonder if we'll get to see more of that in season 2? Taking the ick out the equation- I just love Cherry so much (and his freaking LAUGH YES LORD).

Shadow: *flails* MY GUY!!! I love love love Shadow! He's mostly played for comedic relief, but he's such a great character! The shift between punk rock clown man to sweet flowershop boy is hilarious yet downright precious! I wanted to see more of him though- for all his comedic moments I want to see him get a proper story next season; maybe an arc that develops him further. All that being said; he's grand as they come! He's a grand himbo and a good soul!

Miya: *sobs* My child! The RPG king- he's a good kid! God his backstory hurt my heart; he deserves friends and people who care about him. I love how he calls Reki "slime" and all his different video game references. The brotherly dynamic between him and the others is just so freaking cute! (How he played Joe and Cherry's kid during the beach episode was so freaking cute aejrkaekjrkja). He's giving me big "Wouldn't you like to know, weather boy" energy and it's absolutely fantastic! Just- a genuine sweetheart through and through!

Adam: Ew.

Kamata: I don't really know all that much about her besides how she looks like Jesse from Team Rocket. Kinda has the same vibe too, you know? I'm kinda meh towards her- just general neutrality.

Kikuchi: Mr. Love Hotel! Frankly: he deserves better. He means well and he's so, so kind. Even at a young age, all he cared about was Adam and making him as happy as possible in life. He didn't deserve any of the BS Adam pulled on him. That one credit scene where he's holding Adam in his arms catching him was pretty cute, I can't deny. He's also a cutie and a really good skater, so that's that :D I like his revelations as a person and how he was always there for his childhood friend no matter what. He's pretty good in my eyes.

Now for some miscellaneous thoughts!

Reki's family: Precious. Langa's Mom? Queen. Carla? Love to see her. Adam's aunties? Hope they burn. Skateboard shop owner? Sweetheart. The little fox/dog thing? Adorable. Flowershop manager: Sweetheart.
