If you’re in the woods alone, Jeonghan will approach and ask for help while his pokemon pickpocket you. He likes the cute pokemon and has maxed them all out so he can scam people into battles and oneshot their entire team. Word on the street is his jigglypuff is wanted in multiple countries for tax evasion

Joshua

Gym leader and one of the first gyms you encounter. Copied the elite four in the sense that once you enter his gym you can’t leave unless you defeat everyone. Bug types are weak so he makes up for it by being a lunatic. Likes bug pokemon bc they freak people out. He’s more interested in people’s reaction to his team than winning but that doesn’t mean he’ll let up

Jun

Cats and cat adjacent. He’s literally just some guy that hangs around town and feeds the stray cats in hopes they’ll follow him home. So fars hes be successful. likes to have a staring contest with espurr that usual ends with them both falling asleep with their eyes open.

Hoshi

Gym leader and electric type enthusiast. Arcanine is the exception bc tiger is life. You hear him before you see him and if you do see him it’s probably because he's flying thirty feet in the air from a well timed thunderbolt courtesy of his Jolteon he can’t help but pet when thinking. one of the best gym leaders, also defeated the elite four but by then cheol was champion and hoshi learned a valuable lesson on why you shouldn't brag about winning with a one type team

Wonwoo

All of his pokemon are from when he was an edgy teen and thought they made him look more intimidating because he wanted to be a gym leader. He’s mellowed out now and mostly battles for fun. A lot people think he’s scary but then he opens his mouth and goes on a 45 minute spiel about his absol’s favorite bedtime story and why hydreigon is simply misunderstood

Woozi

Works out with his team so it's survival of the fittest. People think he’s intimidating because he is but actually very chill. Constantly asked why he doesn’t become a gym leader and the answer is always the same: he doesn’t w4ant to. He is content to sit back and watch Hoshi act like a psycho. Doesn’t really battle much but when he does his opponent is in for a world of hurt.

Seokmin

Every pokemon he has starts with “well its actually a funny story…” dodrio just started following him home and seokmin was too scared to tell it to leave, same with lickilicky… and marill… and pikachu. But they’re basically a captive audience for his shenanigans and he sometimes will busk with chatot and makes a good amount of money

Mingyu

Aims for balance. Very bro with his pokemon except Cleffa who is carried around in one of those child wraps. Not on the journey to become champion, more so just wants to see the world with his besties. You can find him sleeping in a cuddle puddle with his team after sitting around the fire and eating too many marshmallows.

Minghao

Appreciates the beauty of pokemon, especially ghost/dark/fairy. they fit his aesthetic. Has a few randoms to throw people off. You can find him sitting in a field under a full moon while they all meditate or just standing in a cave marveling at the nature (right before he sends you hightailing the way you came)

Seungkwan

My island boy… also a jock. Not a gym leader but a notoriously difficult trainer you meet later on the beach. His team is as sassy as he is and has no issue KO’ing everyone, including you. Hope you know how to swim!

Vernon

Average Mr. Chwe. Sometimes he’ll compete in tournaments if he’s bored or one of his friend’s drags him around. His team gets odd looks given he picked a few because they make him laugh but ngl they love him and are shockingly good in battle.

Chan

Living his ash ketchum fantasy. Next champion but Seungcheol keeps threatening to come out of retirement just to fuck with him. Josh sought him out just to KO his team before he even reached the first gym town. Hoshi found him on a random beach and let him win just so when he got to his gym Hoshi could destroy his team several times before Chan managed to land a single attack.

Alright so it’s safe to say that someone is shouting for Steve to run away from something and the first instinct is to be worried for Steve because he would definitely pull the sacrifice play if he had to…but personally I’m a little bit more worried about Robin (or both of them)..let me explain why.

We know Will is there, a source claimed that in fact ‘everyone’ is. But we also know that Millie isn’t, as a picture of her not being on set right now came up. So it’s safe to say that we most likely have a big portion of the cast around during the shoot and not the entire cast.

In the first recording it was pointed out that someone could have been yelling out Mike’s name instead of the first “Steve!” and whereas that’s personal interpretation I can definitely hear it. And I can also hear Will’s voice out of that. Makes sense, right? Will shouting Mike’s name? That would just mean that Mike is present, too. We knew that he and Will would be attached to the hip in season 5 thanks to the foreshadowing in season 4. And we confirmed that there is someone else that will at some point team up with both of them.

Dum dum dum, Robin.

I personally believe it’s only Will shouting but regardless of you believe it to be and who it actuallyis (Dustin or Jonathan perhaps), they’re telling Steve to run, which means that Steve most likely refuses to leave the battle field.

To point another thing out about the video, I also believe that we can hear Steve himself at the very beginning of the recording and he sounds kind of desperate, in my opinion. If I’m not completely crazy I’m pretty sure I can hear a “Let her go!”

So what I’m trying to say is, what if Vecna has Robin and Steve refuses to leave her side and that’s when himself is targeted, which we can hear in the second recording.

I can’t add the video but Maya Hawke has recently talked about Robin’s arc in season 5 and stated that she’s more involved in the supernatural stuff than ever and finding friends and looking for love.

I find it really hard to believe that they are going to kill off Steve, Dustin’s second father/big brother figure after doing it to Eddie in season 4. I’m pretty sure they introduced him so they didn’t have to kill Steve. Besides, Steve means a lot to most people in the group whereas Robin is probably the least connected person as she’s the newest, meaning that her death would hit everyone, but it wouldn’t break them like Steve’s death would- except for Steve himself.

It’s clear to me and probably most people that Will is going to suffer plenty next season and him making friends with Robin and then losing her to Vecna right away would definitely hit home. And because he already lost Robin, he doesn’t want to lose Steve too.

Just another small theory I wanna throw into the mix:

Will shouting for everyone to run reminds of him telling Joyce to run through the lights in season 1. Despite being in the upside down, he found a way to help Joyce by telling her to run. I’m thinking that in this scenario Vecna might have him trapped somehow, in a way that results him being cut off from the others in some way that they can’t hear him? As in basically torturing him because he can’t help his friends out, who possibly don’t see Vecna coming, and has to watch them die. That at least would explain even more why he’s the one yelling…

Thinking thoughts about “tomorrow isn’t promised to anyone” and its interplay with unexpected disasters. The root of it in Shannon being hit by a car, but first being invoked right before The Taking of Dispatch. The implications with Karen’s lab blowing up. With Bathena and the cruise. With Chim being seemingly kidnapped the night before his wedding. It’s a theme that sparks change and action—except, ironically, when it comes to Buck and Eddie.

And (leaving aside the issue of network interference) I think part of why it makes sense is the relationship between what should be their Moments and the job. There’s something about the way they’re firefighters and therefore live with a certain amount of risk, so while there are still things that go above and beyond what they might usually expect—Eddie and the well, the shooting, Buck being struck by lightning—there’s still a disconnect, where somehow instead of emphasizing just how real the risk is, it almost repels them from taking action/going after what they want (“if you love her, tell her”).

And I’m almost wondering if in order to get there for them, it has to go a step further. That the next time has to be something a) unrelated to the job and b) something that neither one of them can actually control. (Thinking about alien hand guy having a blood clot in his brain + Eddie acting weird + what types of circumstances would leave Buck and/or Eddie powerless and 👀👀👀)

Hey sorry if I’m being annoying but. I see posts of dungeon meshi every so often and I came across your harpy piece (which is AMAZING btw) but why does falin (I think that’s her name) turn into a harpy?? If you know please spoil me I just I have to know if it’s doomed yuri or not

haha not annoying at all! here’s my debrief of it

important thing to note is that Falin dies in episode 1, like first minute, she is dead and the entire journey is about defeating the red dragon that killed her in order to revive her before she gets fully digested. long story short, she DID get digested with only her bones and strands of hair as her remains which makes standard resurrection impossible, but marcille is then revealed to been studying ancient/black magic and is able to revive falin using monster parts aka the now defeated and dead red dragon. falin gets revived, they’re happy for a night and talking about going back to the surface with the rest of the party, yay!

the dungeon lord senses a disturbance after his red dragon is killed though and shows up. in resurrecting falin, the red dragon’s soul had intermingled with hers so she ends up being overtaken by the dragon’s soul upon the dungeon lord’s appearance and strictly follows his orders from then on. next time she shows up in front of the party, she ruthlessly kills/injures half the people they were with and showed basically no falin-ness in battle except for a brief moment with laios (which i assumed was bait).

that’s how falin gets turned into a chimera! there were harpies that showed up with her in the recent ep, but she herself is like. a weird dragon chicken thing.

i should also note marcille and falin are childhood friends, they’re very close to one another and marcille, despite the odds, adamantly joined laios in getting falin back. i think the importance falin has in marcille’s life has been enforced so falin becoming half monster, alive but not as herself entirely and becoming wrapped in a situation where they must defeat the Dungeon Lord in order to get her back (potentially) is kind of devastating. and in the recent episode, laios nor marcille knew how to approach falin, they just knew they didn’t want/couldn’t hurt her. this entire situation is new in their world, it’s not certain whether falin will ever return to herself. they’ll continue onward in the journey, but everything is probable! so not 100% doomed, but still, devastating.

the manga is finished so i highly recommend reading it if you’re curious about what happens. i feel like the yuri is better enjoyed if you know more about the world and of marcille’s character too, because her goals and desires makes everything she has to experience a bit more tragic. if not the manga, then definitely the anime!! watching it is very fun and i believe they’ll stop the anime at a good point. but anyway i hope this answers your question! ^_^

I think Blitzø is obviously not great but he was an asshole to a normal (for hell) degree. Loona was no better, Verosika wasn’t, stolas sure as hell wasn’t. I don’t know why they’re beating him down this much it hurts to watch. I really don’t want him being with someone who makes him feel like nothing.

So seeing Blitzø be treated like he’s absolutely detestable by everyone around him feels terrible, while stolas is given a fifth song (which should have been Verosikas) probably which is probably far from the last. And heralded. It hasn’t always been that way, him and Mills were besties, Loona appreciated him in a shy way, moxxie was an exception critiquing him. Now everyone and their mom want him to die.

Reminds me of when stolas was taken to hospital like a wounded princess despite being fine in a week because he’s immortal, and the journalists stomped on Blitzø like he was nothing. Punishing him for not running to his aid. That’s the fandom. And the writers.

Btw the duet sounded like…shit. Two characters in completely different directions with nothing in common and entirely different goals, zero compatibility but played up as quirky and fun. Also they retconned it so Blitzø likes the sex now. Thats new.

Also after via kills Stella or Andre stolas role is said to be “more important than ever before” as he takes the blame and…I’m exhausted. He’s already taken the show from IMP (whose now disbanded?) now more screen time for him?? What a nightmare.

Agreed with every last word of this. Blitzo is a shitty guy, but the hijacking of the plot into The Stolas Show robs him of the opportunity to be better and stronger. What little time he's allowed to grow on his own always comes back to Stolas, and he doesn't get to examine his actual faults because in Viv's eyes, his biggest fault is that he hurts "nice guy" Stolas's feelings.

You get the sense that Viv (and maybe Brandon) don't even like him at all and won't until he's giving Stolas the love Stolas quote unquote deserves.

I’ve seen some people talk about how “Willow made Hunter feel worse” after she showed him the picture of him and Flapjack, and that she should apologize to him and that’s just… not really how I read that scene?

Hunter feels AWFUL. His best friend just gave up his life for Hunters and he just… misses Flapjack. It hasn’t fully sunken in yet that Flapjack is gone from him. Not only that, but Hunter only has his memories to remember him by. He wasn’t even awake when Flapjack gave his life! It’s really tough handling this all, and of course he uses his anger towards Belos to cope.

I don’t think Willow giving him the picture made it worse, but I also don’t think it made it better. I think Hunter genuinely meant what he said- he wasn’t sure if he was okay or not. A picture of the two of them is wonderful to have! It’s something physical! It’s nice to see his best friend again! But god, it still hurts. He JUST lost him.

Willow saw this conflict and apologized immediately. She says that she didn’t MEAN to make matters worse- and of course she genuinely means it. She removes herself from the situation, not because she wants others to feel pity or whatever people are saying, but because she doesn’t want to do EVEN MORE damage than she believes she has. What else could she have done in that situation with her state of mind? Willow had already been slowly breaking down, and now she believes that she just totally screwed up with Hunter. Removing yourself from a situation when your mind is in such a mess of a state is OKAY TO DO.

I don’t think Willow needs to apologize because she already did. She did the best she could in that situation given the circumstances. I DONT think she was making the situation about herself (unintentionally or not). I think all of these statements are a REACH and that Willow handled the situation just fine, especially with her own feelings taking place.

this is all just a long way for me to ask if icemav is easier to pick up on/less surprising if you’re gay. bradley clocked them early because he was in close quarters with them constantly, but he’s also gay—in comparison, slider knew ice for years, but only added it up when it was way too obvious to ignore. and to other straight people they seem to be at an Ethan Hunt level of undercover, but are they really??? (this is kind of a dumb question so feel free to do whatever you want with it lol)
