Here’s a little reminder to trans people / people questioning their gender who are unlearning people pleasing
Ask yourself this: is what I tell people about my gender actually how I feel or am I just people pleasing out of fear of being judged?
I realized a lot of how I based my gender identity early on was based around what would make sense to other people and what would be easier for them to respect, but that didn’t help me at all in figuring out what I actually want or what my gender actually is. In figuring out your gender, it is crucial you don’t let other people define that for you. Think for yourself in full honesty and be kind to yourself. Also be patient because some things might take a while to understand, but you will get it eventually I promise

ALT VER FOX/SWAN/STAG
I know I’ve been doing a lot of fox/swan/stag content lately but I really wanted to redesign these again just in a way that stands out from the originals nonbinary-culture made, so I made one more version, just for fun!
Definitions
Swan = a nonbinary person who queers and subverts femininity in a distinct nonbinary way while rejecting cisnormative ideas of what it means to be feminine and rejecting binary concepts of gender
Fox = a nonbinary person who presents themselves outside the gender binary, and rejects binary concepts of gender presentation
Stag = a nonbinary person who queers and subverts masculinity in a distinctly nonbinary way while rejecting cisnormative ideas of what masculinity means and rejecting binary concepts of gender
original flags by @nonbinary-culture
Dni: terfs, nazis, racists, queerphobes, enbyphobes, transmeds maps, yaps and pro contact para

Mascgirlbyfem Pride Flag
Tumblr media
Mascgirlbyfem: a midterm in which someone is evenic or cusper of girlmasc and nbyfem; an experience halfway between azurgirl and rosenby; being a feminine non-binary folk and a masculine woman (but not necessarily a feminine woman or a masculine enban); a mascgirl (masc gal) that is parallelly an enbyfem (fem enby/femby/femenby)/enbyfemme (femme enby/femmenby)/rosnby/femnby.

does anyone else feel like they're not a girl but they're not separated from being a girl either? it doesn't necessarily bother me when random people view me as a girl but i don't like to be viewed as a girl by my friends that know my identity. and i don't dislike when peope use she/her pronouns for me but i really like when people use different pronouns for me. idk i just don't feel a connection to being anywhere on the gender binary but i feel a connection to being a woman in the way i was rasied to be? idk if that makes any sense but like when it comes to how i align myself it's more fem leaning but i feel agender at the same time? does that make like any sense? sometimes i think i might just be cis and looking for attention

I’m tired of people accusing transmasc and nonbinary people of just being tomboys who are having a trans phase. Like, for starters you don’t get to act like you know someone more than they know themselves. And even if it was a phase, you can’t tell someone that while they’re in the process of discovery and going through something that feels very real at that moment. But then I started thinking, and I realized this negative connotation around the idea of phases is really toxic to begin with and holds back a lot of people in discovering themselves. People should be allowed to explore themselves without fear of “being wrong” about themselves. I’m tired of this mindset of phases being negative because I think that trying something and it not being right in the end is actually really helpful in making progress towards a better understanding of self. Phases are good, don’t worry if what you’re going through right now ends up being a phase in the end.

as a nonbinary person, I feel like a fae. I hear other people’s preferred names and just want to steal them for myself

Note
fem nlm should be allowed in the nlm community, and nonbinary and transneutrals should be allowed in t4t spaces. that's all
