So, what are your plans for Nathaniel Kurtzenberg in the AU? Any miraculous or character arc in mind for him? And is Tiger!Alix gonna be named Cheshire or something like that?

Nathaniel Kurtzenberg's role isn't that big, but it's larger than a few of his classmates.

During season two, Nathaniel will be getting the Fox Miraculous to become the hero, Palette Fox. However, he is terrified of joining the fight against Hawkmoth and doesn't like getting involved in Paris's current situation, preferring to avoid it as much as possible. The only times he gets involved in the fight against Hawkmoth or other rogue wielders is when it's a city-wide danger like Syren or when someone like his family, Marc, or specific friends are in trouble. Trixx decides to stick around with Nathaniel instead of finding a new wielder since he can wait to see if Nathaniel ever changes his mind. Basically, Nathaniel is an honorary member of team Miraculous that doesn't show up to help them unless the situation is serious or it's personal to him since he's afraid of fighting.

Actually, I had an au where Alix gets the Tiger Miraculous and decided to use that name for her. It's Brawling Tiger after the Tiger Bay Brawlers roller derby team.

Imagine the streaming series true crime doc about the "Butcher of Baltimore". The Moriyamas are fine with it cause it mostly leaves them out of the story, the doc makes it sound like Nathan and his evil henchmen were independent criminals and not acting for the Moriyamas, and pins the majority of the crimes done by them on Nathan leaving out that he was often acting on their behalf. And paints the narrative they want. The only mention of the Moriyamas is that Tetsuji wanted Neil to join the Ravens when he was a kid because he saw potential in this talented child and if he had been able to he could have "protected this poor child from his monsterous father" (queue the Moriyamas positioning themselves as brave, kind and generous) but Neils mother ran off with him before the "kind and generous" offer could be finalized cause Neil and Mary had had enough of Nathans abuse (and not cause the Moriyamas were gonna buy Neil as property as well). The FBI are happy with the doc cause it's copaganda that makes them look great and competent, the good guys beating an uncomplicated villain (to be clear Nathan is an uncomplicated villain but the FBI are NOT the good guys), the Hardfords are totally absent from the series.

Neil Josten starts trending cause even non exy fans are FACINATED and the press is lapping it up.

It becomes one of the top streamed docs cause the details are so lurid and horrific and the fact that the son of the Butcher is on his way to being a sport celeb.

Neil was contacted by the true crimes doc but he refused to participate.

He hates the inaccurate way they portray his mom as someone who had no idea of the kind of monster she married until it was too late who was fleeing from her horrible husband who she had "loved" for her and her sons safety (ignoring that it was an arranged marriage between crime families and her hands are as bloody as any other gangster. It also ignores that she was abusive and imperfect too and makes her the perfect victim. The only accuracy was that she wanted Neil alive.

Coach Hernandez was contacted too but he refused to participate, though a bunch of other Millport teachers and former students/ teammates happily jump on board. Sadly some Palmetto staff and students do as well and other teams who've faced the Foxes do as well (not the Ravens [too risky] or the Trojans[to honorable])

The Foxes REFUSED to participate and they also REFUSED to watch this tripe and shut down anyone who tries to talk to them about it.

Also the only real accurate bit of the documentary is Neil's ordeal in Baltimore and its cause it's taken from his confession. Queue people gaping at Neil for the next few weeks knowing what the poor guy had to endure

Hi. For Nathaniel!Fox I would suggest the name "Painted fox". It's a film from my childhood, the story is that a fox got banished from the woods for it's trickeries, and accidently covers itshelf with paint... Using his new apparance and deception, it returns to the forest and intimidate all othet animals to serve him, or else.... Until the rabbit mother (who's kids the fox claims as the next day's breakfast) recognises it's one foot which is not painted, and the animals uprise againt the painted fox, sending it away again, for real this time....

I don't think Nathaniel would use his power like this, but the visual deception, false illusion is there, and the "paint" aspect fits Nathaniel, I think😃

Also, a question: Why don't he wears a mask? Does he relevals himself directly, or the Miraculous magic makes him unrecognisable regardless?🦊

Yep, they could literally be naked and they still would be unrecognizable. I decided that the mask wasn't really needed because it frames his face.

Just suggestion for the fox: In inbetween periods of season 1 and 2 (when I had just become a fan and was so young that this memories bring me some nostalgia), some people theorized Nathaniel Kurtzenberg would receive the fox. There were even some fanarts.

You could try to add that to the story. It was just quite popular back in the day, and I think it could be cool.

That could actually work. I do want to try and see if I can add the original season 2 trio of Miraculous into the next season as new wielders. So, that could work.

I'm picturing him as someone who doesn't want to be a hero, unlike the other Miraculous wielders. He likes making comics about heroes but isn't that interested in being one himself. So, he'll be more of an honorary member of the team and only shows up for disasters like Syren.

i can't stand the fact how foxes are more and I mean much more sympathetic and concerned for Neil for being in the nest for two weeks which I get it he's Neil but have no sympathy for Kevin who literally grow up in there for years. Even Neil he still acts the same and that's one thing I can't really stand. And Kevin's exy obsession gets made fun of when that's his literall self worth measurement. Also he gets told he's an asshole like Andrew but like all the foxes are??? I'm not saying Kevin's has no flaws like he does but his treatment always pisses me of and don't even get me started on the fact that in so many fics and in the books he's called a cowerd when he's anything but. bravery is not only knife swinging or shit talking. He literally told to run away when he find out who Neil was and he knew they would get disqualified without him. He kept his secret told Neil that he would watch him if he drank not to say anything and offered to talk about riko. When he's terrified of him and rightfully so. He gets constantly shut down or just told he's an asshole without his trauma ever being taken into consideration. Or when he gets blamed because of Neil's choices like even if the foxes did find out where Neil was what would they do? Call the police? Or Walk off without a freaking Yakuza on their tails? Like Kevin's treatment by the fandom is just unfair .

Not everyone has a soulmate

To have one you need to fall into a very specific category of people

To put it simply “in order to have a soulmate you and your partner have to choose each other in every universe in existence”

This is a very rare occurrence

Like one in of every million people have a soulmate

You know you have one when you are born with a picture of something that holds meaning to you and you soulmate in every universe

There is only one way to make the marks disappear (when they do you are no longer soulmates in any universe)

“If romantic feelings are expressed and unreciprocated”

As long as there is a possibility for a relationship there is a bond

So all it takes is a no that is genuine for the bond to break

(So if affection is felt by one but never expressed then your still soulmates until the other party rejects you)

(If both parties hold romantic feelings for the other but are unable to be in a relationship then the bond is still there)

It’s basically a “yes, until it’s a no”

Nathaniel Wasinski was born with a soulmate to the delight of absolutely nobody. His father hated it for the soul reason of it being a potential joy for his son. He will go on to attempt to rid his son of the mark via a hot iron.

His mother hated it for being a distraction. Years after she would hate it for the fact that frankly, it’s too recognizable. Too distinct.

Abram likes it. In his eyes it’s something to latch onto. “In another universe maybe I’m not constantly in fear of the mob coming to kill me.” It’s hope but hope is not something he has room for so he doesn’t dwell on it.

Alex, Stephan, Chris nor any of his other identities have a soulmate. Abram’s soulmate is his and his alone. He only allows himself to acknowledge his mark in the dead of night locked in motel bathrooms. He traces the lines of the key, watching himself do so in the mirror. He doesn’t acknowledge the multitude of scars surrounding it. In those moments he lets his mind wander to all the possibilities. Who is his soulmate? Are they happy? Do they have a mom that rips their hair out too? Will they ever meet? If they do, could he even feel the types of feelings necessary for them to stay soulmates? Would his soulmate like him? He hopes so. It’s the only thing he lets himself hope for.

Andrew Doe was born with a soulmate, his twin brother was not. That distinction played a major part in Tildas decision. She knows the attention people like that bring. If she’s already going to have to deal with a snotty crying shit maker, she wants to do it in peace.

You’d think a child with a soulmate would be easily adopted. It is already rare for a child to be born with a soulmate let alone one that’s being put up for adoption. But Tilda’s track record for abandoning then subsequently coming back for said child put a bad taste in potential adopters mouths. So Andrew gets passed around from one hellhole to another, each with a new and exciting type of trauma for him to experience.

Andrew when he was young liked that he had a soulmate. He’d been abandoned so much but the idea of someone actually choosing him not just once but in every universe gave him hope.

All hope he had died when he was seven.

By the time Andrew Minyard is his legal name he no longer looks at his mark with any emotion at all. It was apart of him but he felt nothing for it. Or at least that’s what he tells himself.

He definitely doesn’t get an intense feeling of longing when he catches a glimpse of the key on his forearm. He definitely doesn’t ever think about his soulmate. who he is, what he’s doing, if they’ve met, how they could meet, what he look like. Is his life just as shitty as his own? No he definitely doesn’t think about that.

Except Andrew is only a liar when it matters and this doesn’t matter. So yes he thinks about his soulmate far more than he’d ever admit out loud ,But it’s not like it matters to him. His soulmate is a pipe dream, something to thinks about but never something he can have.

He’s too broken for his soulmate to choose him anyway.
