HUOGBHUBH YEAH BUT DO YOU REALIZE that 'Celebrity Towers' such as the images depicted below

-Are wussified photoshop edits and depictions of a once heavily thoughtful genre of compositions that was originally started by names like Bob Peak and Drew Struzan as a way to display a summary and sneak-peak of the movie so audiences can find an interest in it; displaying mood in color, a summary of important scenes in the movie captioned in the back, and the most prominent characters in-plot being the main subjects (and likely not always in order of celerity status-rather importance to story being the biggest and most prominent)

So do me a favor and shut your yap if you diss on this medium. It's the effort, composition and supplies put into the work-not the genre of poster itself. If they're just copy and pasting the promo art of the characters into the poster and making the composition super busy; then it's an issue.

Fun fact: Charlotte actually started it's life as the feminine form of Charlot, a nickname for Charles! Charlotte and Charlot are of French origin and mean "Free man."

Which was perfect for a character you should be meeting soon. She begins her story feeling stuck and alone with no way forward. When an opportunity passes her way to make a change, she grabs hold of it and refuses to let go. Charlotte is so committed to finding the life she used to have, she may turn out to be the villain of her own story. 

It's been a while since I got to write about Charlotte. I'm excited to dive back into her ambitious failures.

frankly, the people whose kneejerk reaction to bisan asking for a global strike form the 21st-28th is to say that it takes years to organize a general strike are really unhelpful! no one is saying otherwise, but palestine will be a smoking crater if we all wait for years to do anything - bisan is asking us to do something now. Like are we only supposed to do something if we can do it perfectly??? At some point it’s a valid critique about the work that goes into social movement, and at another point I feel like some people are just trying to absolve themselves from not putting any effort into observing a week of economic inaction.

like idk! I get it, okay! People have bills to pay that don’t magically go away for a strike, we don’t have nearly enough social infrastructure in place to support people to fully stop going to work for a week. But fuck, dude! Stop immediately responding in such a defeatist way! Cut out unnecessary purchases! Try to shop local! Put more effort into promoting Palestinian voices online! Attend a protest, call a local rep, do something!
