Why I Don't Like Playing Games

One of the reasons why I don't like playing games or rarely playing games is because I get addicted to games easily. I really lose track of time when playing games and it really sucks. When I stop playing I feel like I've done something in vain, it's annoying. I've been playing GTA III for 4 hours straight and still not satisfied.  Still much better if I watch random videos on YouTube or scrolling my media socials because I can get many informations.

Video game I saw in a dream. It was in this low poly style like an older video game. You play as this character I think was meant to be a lamb, or maybe a weird mix of a lamb a mouse and a rabbit, (while not really looking like any of those things) and you’re running away from a wolf. Your objective is to last as long as possible before the wolf catches and eats you.

The house you’re running in is endless and bizarrely put together like most building interiors in dreams are (like the infinite toilet dream dimension on Reddit lol) the layout of the house is pretty detailed, you can stop and hide in places like closets or bins while the wolf looks for you, you can go up and down stairs and into rooms etc.

You never actually know where the wolf is or how close it is to you until it appears in your line of sight, it makes no noise and the game gives you no way of knowing where it is, and it’s pretty unpredictable it doesnt move at a consistent pace. When the wolf catches you there’s an animation showing it eating your character

آج کے دور کی بڑھتی ٹیکنالوجی ، نت نئی ایجادات، ابھرتی ہوئی انٹرٹینمنٹ اندسٹری اور آن لائن رسائی بلاشبہ بہت بڑی سہولیات میں شمار ہوتی ہیں۔ ساتھ ہی یہ ہر گھر کیلئے ایک بڑا چیلنج بھی بن چکی ہیں۔ عصر حاضر میں ٹیکنالوجی اور انٹرٹینمنٹ کے بچوں کے ساتھ تعلق کی بات کی جائے تو ''آن لائن گیمز‘‘ کا بے پناہ شوق اور اس کے منفی اثرات کسی سے ڈھکے چھپے نہیں۔ یہ مسئلہ مشرق، مغرب بلکہ پوری دنیا میں یکساں ہے۔ بچوں میں بڑھتی ہوئی آن لائن گیمز کی طلب ان کی زندگی کے تمام پہلوؤں میں نقصان دہ ثابت ہو رہی ہے۔ بلاشبہ گیم کو گیم سمجھا جائے تو فائدہ مند ہے، مگر اسے حقیقت اور ترجیح سمجھ لیا جائے تو نقصان ہی نقصان ہے، کیونکہ یہ کہاوت ایسے ہی مشہور نہیں کہ ''کسی بھی چیز کی زیادتی نقصان دہ ہوتی ہے‘‘ ۔ اس دنیا میں پیدا ہونے والا ہر بچہ معصوم ہے، اس نے وہی سب سیکھنا ہے جو اس کے والدین یا ارد گرد کے دیگر افراد اسے سکھائیں گے۔ سوال یہ ہے کہ معصوم بچہ کس طرح نفسیاتی چیلنجز دینے والی آن لائن گیمز کا شکار بنتا ہے؟ تو اس کے اصل قصور وار والدین خود ہیں۔ جو آغاز ہی سے روتے بچے کو چپ کروانے کیلئے موبائل فون یا آن لائن گیمز مہیا کر دیتے ہیں۔ کچھ ہی عرصہ میں بچہ جب ان گیمز کا استعمال ٹھیک سے کرنے لگے تو فکر مند ہونے کے بجائے فخر اور خوشی سے اسے بچے کی ذہانت سمجھتے ہیں۔ یہیں سے ترجیحات کا غلط تعین شروع ہوتا ہے۔

یونیورسٹی آف وسکانسن کے محقق شان گرین کی تحقیق کے مطابق آن لائن گیمز انسانی شخصیت کو تبدیل کرنے کا ایک اہم ذریعہ بن چکی ہیں۔ ان گیمز کے استعمال کی نیچر ہی انسان کی شخصیت اور ذہنی کارکردگی پر پڑنے والے اثرات کا تعین کرتی ہے۔ جہاں یہ گیمز ذہن کو تیز اور چست بنا سکتی ہیں، وہیں ذہن کو ناکارہ بھی کر سکتی ہیں۔ اسی طرح آسٹریلیا میں ویڈیو گیمز کے بچوں کی ذہنی نشوونما پر اثرات کے حوالے سے جامع تحقیق کی گئی۔ جس میں دیکھا گیا کہ حد سے زیادہ آن لائن گیمز کھیلنے والے بچوں کے دماغ میں عجب سی کش مکش پیدا ہوتی ہے۔ ان کے ذہنوں میں احساس محرومی اور انتقام لینے کی خواہشات بھی دوسرے بچوں سے زیادہ ہوتی ہیں۔ برطانیہ میں ہونے والی تحقیق میں یہ پایا گیا کہ جو بچے روزانہ ایک گھنٹے سے کم ویڈیو گیمز کھیلتے ہیں وہ دیگر بچوں کی نسبت معاشرے سے ہم آہنگ ہوتے ہیں، لیکن جو بچے روزانہ پانچ گھنٹے سے زیادہ ویڈیو گیمز کھیلتے ہیں وہ مجموعی طور پر اپنی زندگی سے کم مطمئن ہوتے ہیں۔

ماہرین صحت کے مطابق گیمز کا بے جا استعمال بچوں میں کلائی، گردن اور کہنی میں درد، نیند کی کمی اور خرابی، موٹاپا، کمزوری یا ہاتھوں میں بے حسی کا باعث بن رہا ہے۔ پاکستان کی بات کریں تو مئی، جولائی اور اگست میں لاہور میں گیم کھیلنے سے منع کرنے پر 16 ، 18 اور پھر 20 سالہ لڑکوں نے خودکشی کرلی تھی۔ لہٰذا آن لائن گیمز کی بے ہنگم عادت ذہن کو اس حد تک بھی خراب کر سکتی ہے۔ اب سوال یہ ہے کہ اس مسئلے سے چھٹکارا کیسے حاصل کیا جائے ؟ تو بچوں میں آن لائن اور ویڈیو گیمز کی بڑھتی ہوئی عادت کو ختم کرنے کا حل یہ نہیں کہ گیم پر پابندی لگا دی جائے، جس کے باعث ٹیکنالوجی میں ہم پیچھے رہ جائیں اور بچوں کی انٹرٹینمنٹ ختم ہو جائے۔ اس کا حل ٹھوس پلاننگ میں چھپا ہے۔ اس کی سب سے بڑی مثال ہم چین کی لے سکتے ہیں۔ جہاں بچوں کے آن لائن گیم کھیلنے کے لیے اوقات کو کم کر دیا گیا ہے۔ ان پابندیوں کے تحت 18 سال سے کم عمر بچے رات 10 بجے سے صبح 8 بجے تک آن لائن گیم نہیں کھیل سکتے۔ دن کے اوقات میں بھی انہیں صرف 90 منٹ آن لائن گیم کھیلنے کی اجازت ہوتی ہے۔ اسی طرح بچوں کو گیمز کے منفی اثرات سے بچانے کیلئے والدین پر سب سے زیادہ ذمہ داری عائد ہوتی ہے۔ والدین کو چاہیے کہ سب سے پہلے تو بچوں کی گیمز کا ٹائم ٹیبل بنائیں جس میں گیمز کے اوقات کو بتدریج محدود کیا جانا چاہیے۔ بچوں میں یہ احساس پیدا کیا جائے کہ گیم کو گیم سمجھیں حقیقت نہیں۔

Mystic messenger has been in my radar since i was in elementary school but i played it for the first time after the spanish traslation came out (2017 i think?) Seven shaped my type in such a specific way that im not really sure why loved him so much (it was the whole "he loves you in every route" stuff). I like a lot the default mc, most of the fandom did and that was enough to won me over

Rosa is top tier protagonist tbh, Tears of Themis has really good story and characters (as far i played, not a lot but i enjoyed it) The reason i'm not that much of a fan is bc the game is expensive asf and not very free to play friendly. You're either lucky or have a big wallet with the gacha

Ephemeral has to be one of the best free to play otomes i've played tbh (if my memories aren't tricking me, it's been years) Good artwork, good storyline, good characters and as far i remember you can unlock one chapter of the character route per day (mabye two days, idk) and the mc's background has an important role in every route (she's a zombie! she's pretty now but eventually will fall apart, aaaaand her story gets expanded in one of the routes!) ((shes also adorable)) There's also a sequel, if you wanted more of the boys! never finished it but i'd recommend it

Honorable mentions! Huellitas Mágicas is a great game! has a really good cast with well fleshed arcs for all the characters, even the scondary ones! The game shines more for the development of *all* the characters rather than just the protagonist/ml. The main theme is overcoming insecurities! Each love interest has a different way of helping our (very insecure) protagonist and helping different characters with their own struggles :DD

10/10 i recommend this game if you want something cute and can be finished in a few hours, if i remember right. It also has a sequel! with like- 12 new love interests, also never finished it bc i didnt found a guide that worked for me but ñek

A3! is my canon event as a gacha player. Discovered the english/global server, tried it and got bored, left it for a few months, tried it again and fell in love, noticed the game was going to shut down bc low sales -HAHA :(-. This is not a otome btw, this is here bc Izumi has to be one of my favorite protagonists in gacha games ever

last but not least! Obey me! Shall we date? oh dear, what have they done to you :(. The original had intense powercreep to force you to pull cards -multiple times bc that makes them stronger- and even now, the company showed a lot of favoritism to some characters, leaving others to dust bc they don't make the same money. Not to say, they released a new game with the same cast and new main story (ignoring all what happend before). And let me say: THEY LITERALLY WANTED TO KILL THE ORIGINAL GAME.

Nightbringer might be a decent game but i don't trust the devs anymore, i still remember what happend with Asmo's birthday right after the release, and honestly i don't want to sit there watching how they disrespect my favorite characters again and again and again. Loved the characters hated the devs. 5/10 you can play it if you want but i don't recommend spending money on it, it's not worth it, just search #obey me here in tumblr and enjoy the amazing fanworks that i can assure you have a lot more love than the game itself

Imagine with each pain pill prescription he writes, he is back on that bathroom floor, sweating out sickness and hatred as he begs to be let out, the cold tile like ice against his cheek.

Imagine his past addiction being a greater stain on his record as an attending surgeon than the fact that he's killed someone. People still sometimes die in his OR - it's the nature of the beast, of trying to save lives - but Aaron can never swallow another pill.
