Yes, I know the bi-generation thing was a complete Russel T. Davis stunt in its randomness and defiance of logic for the sake of the fan service, but we needed this as much as the doctor did. He experienced so much trauma over the years, and he never stopped, never took a break, never TALKED about his feelings. It was just one adventure after another, one new face after every regeneration, pushing the feelings further back and burying them in the past. We needed some conclusion as well. We needed the doctor to face his past, admitting that the losses still affect him, admitting that he loves his people. We needed this break for him, this wholesomeness in being surrounded by his friends, finally staying with his found family on screen, seeing him at peace, seeing him heal.

Living is hard, and sometimes even a galaxy saving alien, that never stops, never stays, never asks to be thanked needs a rest.

okay 1) bellamy tries so hard to stay mad at clarke, throwing everything he has at her, giving her the silent treatment, etc, and then u can literally see him shift from his resentment to their "together" mantra again. something something i was so angry at you for leaving i don't wanna feel that way anymore etc etc

and 2) remember when bellamy was too busy reconciling with clarke and making her smile when she's feeling sad and guilty and looking at her with big brown eyes that he literally ran over someone and into a tree

!! OWL HOUSE S3 EP2 SPOILERS !!

Idk if anyone has talked about it but I think it's absolutely beautiful how Luz finally realized what she wanted and hatched Stringbean through her mom.

In the very beginning of the show I think we can agree we were all pretty salty about how Camila treated Luz, trying to get her creativity and personality in check but in season 3 we've found out that she really is just like her daughter and was shunned for it at her age. She didn't want Luz to be treated like that but very obviously went for the worst possible solution while also steeling herself in a constant state of denial and disbelief.

This episode (and the last during her dream sequence) she realizes just how happy Luz truly is, the friends she's gained, her Amity, and how much she's grown as a person without having to abandon all the quirky traits that make Luz, Luz.

To have Camila be the one to coax Luz into realizing she only ever wanted to be seen is the perfect way to solidify their newfound bond. It's forgiveness, it's acceptance, it's love.

I love that the First Slayer stabbing Buffy in her house doesn't have any physical effect upon her, wheras when they fought in the desert her blows were landing solid and heavy. It's about how Buffy is vulnerable to her slayer self when she is in its environment - the harsh, unfeeling, dead desert (note the parallels between a desert and a graveyard - a vast site of lifelessness and fixidity). Her slayer self is only a threat when she looks directly at it. But when she retreats into her domestic sanctuary, surrounded by her friends, she can ignore her slayer self completely. It cannot affect her as long as she stays inside the domestic world, the world of her Girl self.

It really shows how much Buffy really does view her Slayer side as a threat, as something that she is aware of, and can hurt her if she gets too close to it, but that can be avoided completely if she simply does not ackowledge it. She thinks she can compartmentalise her slayer side and just tuck it away in her subconcious. She still thinks that this is possible, because she hasn't yet completely accepted that side of herself. She doesn't know who she is, or what she is, not yet. She hasn't even begun.
