"6 out of 10 people who died from Covid between March and July 2020 were disabled"
As part of the UK covid inquiry, evidence has now been brought to light which shows that "Do Not Attempt Resuscitation" notices, were put on the files of patients with Down's Syndrome, Autism & other learning disabilities.
These people were healthy, before contracting Covid19.
The NHS watchdog we know as NICE, (the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence), issued guidance for trusts and hospitals advising them to apply a “clinical frailty scale” to decide whether patients should be admitted to intensive care.
Older and more frail patients were viewed as being less likely to survive even with critical care treatment.
The original NICE guidance also suggested that those who could not do everyday tasks like cooking, managing money and personal care independently, would be considered frail & not receive intensive care treatment.
This original guidance has since been removed....
Which leads us to the Do not attempt Resuscitation notices...
The DNAR notices were often placed on the files of the patients without their consent, or with limited understanding of its meaning.
Patients with learning disabilities were classed as 'clinically frail'
NHS England have of course denied this, yet the evidence shows they let them die, as to not overwhelm the NHS in the early days of a pandemic.
Yet many specialist nurses have come forward to say that they were constantly put in place for people with learning disabilities and often "inappropriately."

I feel utterly sick. I remember at the start of the pandemic, talking about how disabled people will become a target, that we will be killed off, and people looked at me like I was purple.
4 years later we're here. In case you need to read it again, 6 in 10 people with covid that died during March to June 2020, were disabled. 6 in 10. I can't stop repeating that number.

A dramatic overture - Bada Lee x reader

You were a bit of an unusual ballet dancer. To put it plainly, you were a bit of a fuckup sometimes. But wasn't everyone? Apparently not, according to your overbearing mother. And your choreographer, the infamous Bada Lee. How you landed in her troupe was a mystery.
Not only was she an insanely talented leader, she had been a phenomenal dancer beforehand. Other girls like Lusher and Tater flourished under her guidance. You, on the other hand still needed some work.
And that is exactly what you did. Day and night you practiced tirelessly. After all, ballet was an art, and weren't all the greats tortured and starving? You were eating still, the only pleasure you allowed yourself. The rest was wake up, go to dance, go home, and then repeat the cycle again and again. But your efforts paid off in the end.
And you had perfected your routine just in time for your audition. You were doing Swan Lake, a staple in the community for dancers and the audience as well. And of course, Bada wanted to put her twist on it. So at the end of the season there would be a special ''modern'' retelling of the plot, with all original choreography from her. You were excited. As stereotypical it was, you loved Swan Lake. It was the ballet that made you want to be a dancer in the first place. And Odile was your dream role ever since you were a child. So you tried to brush off your insecurity and worked for it.
You had been to the studio at such late hours that your parents started to suspect you had a boyfriend. You didn't have the heart to tell them that a boyfriend was the last thing they would ever have to worry about it. So you brushed it off and insted went in during your allocated dinner hours. And since you absolutely hated breakfast and really anthing early in the morning, you were down to one meal a day. It's not like you planned it and it wasn't affecting you that badly. At least thats what you thought at first. But by hour 4 of practice, you were exausted. You did a turn and felt your body go limp. You tried to break your fall in, but you still slammed to the ground like a sack of potatoes.
Your fall must have been serious because Bada rushed in. You didn't even know she was in the studio then. You prepared fora lecture and her berating you on your stupidity and carelesness. But instead she let you lean on her and get to her office. There, you sat on a comfortable plush chair as she brought you a sports drink and an icepack. You were too tired to think about where her personal fridge was located and just how big it was. As your pain got lighter, you could focus more on what she was saying.
''And please, be careful. I see you work hard. But don't neglect yourself too much. The most important thing to focus on is your health. And as for the role, don't worry, there's plenty of roles, plenty of other shows.''
While she was right, you were stubborn. But you did not have a death wish, so you scaled back your practices by only 15 minutes, but it's the thought that counts. And also you started packing sandwiches. And little by little, it came time for auditions. Surprisingly, Odile was still popular, so you were up against the stars of your group. Still, they relied on their already existing talent and hadn't really bothered to memorize new techniques. And you had worked hard, building a completely new persona for your dancing. And that did not go unnoticed by Bada. So her decision was easy. Almost as easy as the way you cried tears of joy upon seeing the cast list. You had it. The role was yours. The pain was over.
Little did you know, the pain was just beginning. Now it was just a lot. while Odile was a background character most of the time, there was still her solo. And you dreaded it. Not only the dancing but also dancing with a man. It's not like you had anything against men. In fact, you were on good terms with most of the male members of the troupe. You just couldn't feel the necessary passion and attraction needed to dance with them. And you couldn't fake that love, even on stage for just a few minutes. But you managed. Bada had some minor critiques, which you corrected. And so the first cour of your performances began. Your choreographer had you do a limited summer run with the original production. Then, in the quieter ballet months you'd train again for her version of Swan Lake.
You were excited to play Odile twice. But little did you know, in Bada's version the cast would be all female. And you found out that last.
While you were on your last regular performance, she pulled you aside and told you there would be some changes to the cast list. She watched your face pale for a few seconds before adding that your spot would not change. And you swore she added a wink at the end, just to torment you.
Maybe it was worry. Maybe it was a stomach bug from all the supermarket sandwiches. But you were too sick to make it to rehearsal. You called your choreographer and almost tearfully apologized over and over again. Yet, Bada reassured you. Your role was not in the first acts anyway, so she'd focus on them now. But little did you know, she was simultaneously holding auditions. And she made sure to take down the new cast list before you return.
It was worth the hassle and the looks of bewilderment from the other dancers. Because she essentially saw you go through every stage of gay panic in the span of 5 minutes.
You walked in the studio, seeing her. She queued up the pas de deux music and walked over to the oposite side of the room. She stood on the blocking of your partner's position and motioned for you to take your place. When you were still frozen on your spot, she began explaining.
''We're in Bada's version now. And seeing how abysmall your chemistry was with the male leads, I made some changes.'' she said.
''If I was so bad, why didn't you say something. Why didn't you recast me.'' you questioned.
''You're a good dancer. And besides, it was just Swan Lake. I cannot be revolutional, I don't want to claim I can rewrite the story better. But making my cast all female of my own show, that's another thing. A modern retelling of a classic. With a strong message on how love isn't dictated by the gender binary. These tickets will sell like fresh bread.'' she explained
''And you're coming out of retirement to do this.'' you added, getting it now.
''Jackpot.''
''So you're doing this to get money.''
''I'm doing this for art. And to keep your fees from raising. Costume, set decor, rent on the studio, I'm guessing you don't want to pay that. Unless you do, then get in position.''
Her movements were so fluid. Additionally, she could lift you with ease. The thing is, every time she touched you, it felt like electricity was running through you. So you couldn't really focus and fumbled. Bada was a bit annoyed, but then she started over. Still, you were rattled. Why did this make you feel this way? Bada was attractive. But why would her appearance affect you so much? And now? So you continued to dance, pushing away the thoughts for some time. And it worked for a bit. You two managed to complete the routine. And did it again a few times again, to solidify it.
And then you did it perfectly. You would never use that word lightly, but it was true. It was a million times better than with your male partners. So you were confident that you would nail it.
''Okay, you have the energy now. Let's start learning the routine.'' Bada said.
You were confused. You knew your choreography, and you were wondering if there was a light misstep on your part. And then, Bada started a completely new dance. You wondered when she had the time to choreograph this. It was a completely different way of moving, looking more like a street style. You had never danced like this. But clearly, Bada had. She was so good, even better than with ballet. Was this on purpose? Or was it just her trying to showcase a skill? But why throw you under the bus? You could talk to her about it. Ask her to pull back on some moves, but still add that Bada flare. But you didn't do that. You just tried to copy her moves. You were a professional, so you could pick it up. And it's not like you picked up ballet in one go.
So you tried again. And again. And again. At first, Bada was guiding you very closely, being next to you, correcting your posture with her hands. After a few hours of that, she gets tired of this and sits down, just giving you oral feedback. That frustrated you. And the fact that she kept forcing you to practice over and over again. And at the end of the day, you were just tired and ended up just going home, with no progress on your end. The thing is, you tried again and again. You ended up having a sleepless night in order to get something done. And even though you were dancing like there was no tomorrow, there was little progress.
But you just kept at it. Rehearsing. Going home and dancing there. By the time you went to sleep, it was time to get up again. On days when you weren't training you'd just sleep and eat, calling it a day. You were becoming slovenly. Makeup and brushing your hair were becoming luxuries and so were laundry and showers. And the worst part is, you weren't improving. Street dancing was just not your thing. But it was everyone else's thing. Bada and the whole group could do it. Except you. You were the outcast again. And for no reason. It's not like you were bad at performing in your signature style. What pissed you off the most was surprisingly Bada. She was the incompetent one, not you. She couldn't lead you properly. You hoped she would help and you were called to her office at the end of the day. But instead, you got chewed up. Midway through her rant, someone stormed in, talking to her about a defaced poster and how it was going viral, but not in a good way. She excused herself and promised she'd be back soon. But 5 minutes past. Then 10. Then 15. And the whole time Bada's phone was buzzing with notifications. It was driving you insane. So you reached out to put it on silent mode. But something caught your eye. All the notifs were from a groupchat called TEAM BEBE and the picture was that of the troupe. So you looked at the messages and everyone was talking about you. Lusher, Tatter, even Cheche, they were all bad mouthing you. Making fun of you for the things, that were beyond your control. You had had enough so you just stormed out of there.
So you did the only thing you could think of. You dressed for revenge. First, you went to a salon to reverse the damage to your hair. Then you actually took time and booked a morning makeup session at the MAC counter, making sure to add a striking red lip. To top it all off, you decided to get some new clothes for the rehearsals. A few sexy and black pieces later, you had wiped out your salary. But none of that mattered.
While your transformation was already almost unbelievable, you knew it wasn't enough to shine to dazzle your so-called teammates. But the first person with a target on their back was Bada herself. After all, she was the one that got you into this mess in the first place. So you knew just how to make her regret it. But your plan wasn't exactly foolproof. And you were about to find that out.
First, you joined Bada in your usual practice room. It was surreal to see yourself reflected in so many mirrors while looking like this. You brushed it off. You began the routine and messed up horrendously, this time on purpose. You kept butchering it again and again until Bada stood up begrudgingly to help you. As soon as she got close enough, you pushed her back, watching her topple to the ground, her spine contorting into a graceful, sweeping curve. She was beautiful, even when falling. You wasted no time in straddling her waist, fully prepared to fight her. By then, she was fighting back too, trying to knee you, making you enclose your legs against her thigh. Bada pushes you back, but her hands meet your chest. And you fucking moan. She just raises an eyebrow and looks at you. Then she moves her hands to your hips, making you rock back and forth.
''If a good fuck is all you need to dance correctly, I'll give it to you princess,'' she said. You were about to protest, but she flexed her thigh and you were a goner. You let her take control completely. Bada made you grind your hips on her, to hump her leg like a horny pet. She snapped off the buttons of your leotard, so your bare pussy was rubbing against her. Your wetness was all over her black pants.
''Bada, I'm going to cum.'' with that your mentor bounced her leg up and down. You leaned towards her and kissed her as your orgasm took over you. She helped you ride it out and watched as you rolled over on the floor, panting and tired. Bada watched you for a minute and then said.

8: ZODIAC CONSTELLATIONS The ancient Greek Zodiakos, or Zodiac, is a division of the celestial sphere into twelve equal parts; each one containing a specific group of stars with a mythic association called a constellation. Ancient Greeks used the constellations for sailing navigation, time keeping for seasonal agricultural practices like planting and harvesting crops, mythic storytelling purposes, and astrology practices. Hellenistic Astrology, taking influence from the Babylonians and Egyptians, sought meaning in the zodiac signs and how they influenced a person’s character based on the position of the sun when they were born. They also used this practice for divination, providing guidance and predictions for the future. Let’s take a look at the twelve Zodiac constellations and their mythic tales. 1.) Aries (March 21-April 19) represents the flying golden ram sent by the gods to save the royal children Phrixus and Helle from sacrifice, and whose fleece later becomes the quested prize for the Argonauts. 2.) Taurus (April 20-May 20) represents the bull which Zeus transformed into to seduce Europa, and is linked to the Cretan Bull and the myth of the Minotaur. 3.) Gemini (May 21-June 21) represents the twins Castor and Pollux, sons of Zeus and Leda, known for their inseparable bond and heroic deeds. 4.) Cancer (June 22- July 22) represents the crab sent by Hera to distract Hercules during his battle with the Hydra, later placed in the sky by Hera as a constellation. 5.) Virgo (Aug 23- Sept 22) represents the maiden, often linked to the goddess of agriculture and fertility, such as Demeter or Persephone. 7.) Libra (Sept 23- Oct 23) represents goddess of justice Astraea, daughter of Themis, who carries the scales of justice. 8.) Scorpio (Oct 24- Nov 21) represents the scorpion sent by Artemis or Gaia to kill Orion 9.) Sagittarius (Nov 22- Dec 21) represents the centaur archer, often identified as the wise and skilled Chiron. 10.) Capricorn (Dec 22- Jan 19) represents the sea goat Aegipan, who aided Zeus in his fight against Typhon. 11.) Aquarius (Jan 20- Feb 18) represents the cupbearer of the gods, Ganymede, who was abducted by Zeus and placed among the stars. 12.) Pisces (Feb 19- March 20) represents the two fish, Aphrodite and Eros, who transformed to escape the monster Typhon.

Could you do—Garten of Banban Characters reacting to WereGator!Reader going through the games events to find their nieces? (Same principle as a Werewolf, just with them being able to turn into an alligator. They can semi-shift sharper claws or more menacing eyes.)
Monsters are secretly intermingled with normal society. They just tend to stay out of sight or hide their otherness to blend in. Cause humans are crazy population wise to them, seriously eight billion?! No lone species wants to get that many humans ticked off/scared of them. Reader was really wary of letting their sister-in-law leave her daughters at the daycare. Sure, it catered to monster kids but something was always a bit off… Weregators have strong nurturing instincts when it comes to their or any family member’s kids. The worry was just brushed away as that being in overdrive…
Reader goes through the various puzzles a bit aggressively (never destroying anything outright but Banban can see them barely controlling their strength/shifts).

Banban
You had your suspicions about letting your nieces get dropped off at the kindergarten during "Bring-A-Friend Day".
Your sister-in-law didn't see the problem. Sure, the place was apparently creating living, breathing mascots and likely violating all moral/ethical codes in doing so...but she thought it was fine.
Lab-bred monsters interacting with the natural monsterkind living quietly in the outside world? Surely nothing could go wrong...
Until it did and you found yourself going to this place to find your two nieces.
They weren't even your own children, though as a weregator your nurturing instincts went into overdrive the moment you heard of their disappearance.
And it's for that reason you'd be....quite aggressive and direct in how you solved the strange puzzles throughout the facility.
Nothing pissed you off more than the drone--as sometimes it refused to cooperate.
You came close to smashing the controller numerous times.
You meet Banban after he tries knocking you out, but he's stunned when you barely flinch and tackle him, eyes turning reptilian, alligator claws growing on your hands, and patches of your skin turning to scales.
And you growl angrily, threatening his very existence.
But since he shares Untham's fascination with monsterkind, he just stares at you like you're some spectacle, totally fearless.
"My, what big claws you have....sorry, bad joke-"
"Shut it, "Banban"." You snarl. "Where are my nieces?! I swear if you did anything to them-"
"I've done nothing to them. In fact, I feel terrible about what's been going on here. And that's why I want to help you find them."
"You do..?" You blink. "Then why did you attack me?"
"It's hard to explain. Sometimes I lose control over myself...I truly am sorry about that. Now could you let me go? I think doing that will benefit both of us."
"...how?"
"I promise I'll help you the whole way. Believe me, I've tried helping others before you, but...they were humans. Held back by fear and lack of physical endurance. You, however, stand a chance. But you'll need some guidance. This place is huge, after all."
You were surprised by his offer, albeit cautious of his intentions.
In the end, you let him go as killing him wasn't gonna bring you anywhere closer to your nieces.
He oversees your journey and helps where he can, although he cringes when you damn near shatter the glass panels when solving certain puzzles or fully shift into your gator form when you're trying to fight of Nabnab....
Or when Banban turns into his "hellish" form and tries attacking you, with you leaving some pretty deep scratches on his skin.
Once he snaps out of it, he's like "omg you're just like me fr, we both have trouble taming the beasts within ourselves-"
You take full offense to that and remind him that you're both nothing alike.
Opila Bird Up
She basically fucked around and found out when she first confronted you.
Her screeches of intimidation turned to shrieks of fear the second you shifted into your gator form, causing her to stumble and fall into the abyss where the ball pit once was.
So for the most part..she left you alone after that.
Even Banban was impressed.
When you put her babies back into their nest, she's at first terrified that you were going to eat them....yet you had no intentions of doing so as you calmly greet her before leaving.
Even though she's been aggressive and instigated your transformation in the first place, you saw her younglings as you would your own.
You'd never think to harm them even though everything here so far has tried to harm you.
And soon a shaky alliance was formed, but only because you two shared the common instinct to protect your kin.
The turning point was when you saved Tarta and Opila from being crushed by Jumbo Josh--you literally held up his fist in your gator form so the couple could flee the fight.
Even he was shocked
That's when Opila knew you were someone who could be trusted to the fullest.
Ya'll know how some species of wading birds have gators as their "bodyguards"?
This is where you and her family are at right now. You'll fight tooth and nail to defend them.
She trusts you with her chicks and knows they're in good hands (or claws, rather).
Your end goal was still finding your nieces, but you'll save whatever children you could along the way. Human or monster or both.
Banbaleena
You weren't inclined to sit in some uncomfortable plastic chair and get schooled by this "teacher".
First she saved you from Opila Bird and now she's basically holding you hostage, confiscating your drone.
At this point you're over it. You're wasting precious time here when your nieces could be in serious trouble.
When Banbaleena threatened to tear you into pieces the next time you're "late", you snap right back at her with "how about I tear you into pieces instead?"
As you say this, you show your claws, scales, and reptilian eyes so she knew exactly what she was dealing with.
Suddenly her strict demeanor goes away and she puts you at the "mean kids" table right away.
You suspected her donor feared monsterkind, a trait that was transferred directly to her, as she keeps stuttering when giving the next lesson and deciding you're correct even if you pressed the "wrong" answer.
She can't even look you in the eye and shakily asks you to be gentle with the tape recorders.
Yet she still calls you a "bad student" for leaving and attempts to give chase, but it doesn't last long and she gives up rather quickly.
She hasn't dealt with anyone who stood up to her and lived to tell the tale.
Especially a weregator.
Bittergiggle
He's not intimidated by you in the slightest.
You could partially-shift or even fully shift into your weregator form and this jester will find ways to make jokes out of it.
Besides stopping you from interfering with his plans to make the queen laugh, his goal is to make you laugh, too.
He knows killing you by himself is no longer feasible so he's gonna be an annoying mf who stalls you with bad jokes.
"What do you call an alligator examining a crime scene? An investi-gator!!"
"What's the difference between a crocodile and an alligator? You'll see one in a while, and you'll see the other later!"
When you don't laugh, it just irritates him a lot and he storms away.
He sets Kittysaurus upon you and is shocked when you manage to subdue her with ease.
Not by letting her ram into the walls over and over, but by throwing her into those walls/buttons yourself.
Never did you think you'd wind up in this situation when all you wanted was answers as to where your nieces went....
But you'll be damned if you let some clown and dino-cat hybrid stop you from finding them.
It's actually quite funny when you come back to the kingdom's throne room and see Bittergiggle throwing an absolute FIT because you once again stopped him from telling his joke to the queen.
And I mean stomping, waving his arms, hitting the floor, etc. Just a full-blown tantrum.
"Wow, even my nieces are more mature than you smh"

Why I Think RC Has Trouble Sticking Their Landings
(Or, a pantser talks about structure and DLS for like 8 paragraphs)
My short answer: Because these stories are first drafts
Longer answer: ⬇️
1) (Lack of) Developmental editing
RC's model has its authors write long stories 2-4 chapters at a time. As much as the authors might perfect these chapters, they have no way to change something later on if they realize a scene no longer matches the big picture. An author may revise and make a batch of 4 flawless chapters, but it still doesn't mean they will fit the story seamlessly.
Developmental editing, according to this article, "involves feedback on the big picture of a […] writing piece. A developmental editor will critique structural elements like the plot, characters, theme, and organization of ideas." They also say that this kind of editing is recommended after the first or second draft.
So this type of revision would help an author make sure every character has its place (too many LIs and uneven LI screentime could be fixed), that characterization is consistent, that the plot is clear and moving at a good pacing, etc.
In DLS, for example, things that might be revised after a developmental editing: Leo's introduction scenes not matching his characterization later on, the Leo/Vlad rivalry that seems a bit strange in hindsight, more prominent role and scenes for Sandra, a more consistent progression in Noe/Laia and Ezel/Laia routes, fairer distribution of LI scenes (🫠), Laia's character motivations, the plot mysteries might be revealed to the reader a bit earlier, etc.
But these stories are arguably first drafts that will never be revised holistically (like Choices stories are/used to be, as far as I'm aware), so problems that only become clear once you're further along might not be fixed satisfactorily (or at all).
What sort of problems? Well...
2) Structure, part I
So the visual novel medium is fairly recent, right? Choose Your Own Adventure stories have existed for a while, but, I'm pretty sure, not in the scale of RC stories. 3 seasons demand a lot of story. And the thing is, I'm not sure there is a lot of guidance out there regarding story structure for interactive stories? Not that I've found, at least.
This is a problem, I think, because even if these authors follow the existing material on story structure (Save the Cat, Hero's Journey, Classic 3 Act, Seven-Point Structure, etc.), they will have to do the work of adapting it for a visual novel that A) has 3 seasons as a default, and B) 3 seasons of more or less equal length.
Look, it absolutely can be done! But my point is, I think it's generally uncharted territory and requires a lot of problem-solving. It's not just figuring what must happen in this story for it to be satisfying, it's also deciding when each thing must happen in a way that fits the requirements of three seasons and their finales, which must all fit together, but also be individually exciting and balance setup and payoff. And there is no way to go back and fix it if you realize you messed up the pacing somewhere! Not to mention…
3) Structure, part II: Routes
Not only do they have to figure out plot and structure (without being able to revise the finished story as a whole), but they also need to figure out and balance at least 4 different dynamics. As in, when it gets established, how to keep those dynamics fresh even after they get together, and how to synchronize MC's development with that relationship and its milestones. And again, it's not like there is a manual or a right answer. You have to write and fix afterwards — except they can't 😀. So if an author realizes later on that x couple needed a scene earlier on, or that they rushed things, or any other problem, there is nothing to be done except maybe add more scenes that might stand out from whatever they're trying to correct.
A tiny example of this problem in DLS would be Leo and Laia telling Derya that they're dating, which is clearly a correction of the scene in 4x02 where Laia called him "a friend" because "[she] thought it went against local customs to make a show of pre-marital relationships". In 2019 Istanbul. It would just make more sense if she had just called him her boyfriend in the first place.
4) Authors
I'll admit I'm least informed about this one, but based on a few interviews I've read with the authors, it seems some of them have never written fiction or visual novels before…? I could be wrong! But! Imagine being new to this medium and having to figure all of that ⬆️ out, with the limitations that RC's model brings. I'm not sure how much training and/or assistance they get in this entire process. It just seems a lot for one person.
And I have no answers for any of this, by the way! I don't work there, I don't know how the company works or how it doesn't. This is just my tentative opinion based on my limited experience with writing. It's extremely hard, and I genuinely cannot imagine trying to do any of that ⬆️ in the first place, but especially if I had to get it right on the first try.
Every writing advice on Earth recommends multiple drafts on longform writing because it's impossible to make your story the best it can be on the first attempt. So I think the RC endings often being unsatisfying might be, mainly, a consequence of that.

Honorable Hemera grants strength and courage to anyone who would need it. In war just like in love, he offers protection and guidance.
Hemera, like all gods from the Pantheon, is everchanging in form. Some constants are his 4 arms that he uses to wield his enormous shield (not to scale on the picture) and his 2 swords, one of which (not pictured here) was a gift from his lover Eros.

Inpired by stag beetles (for the horns), the fiddler beetle (for the colors) and scarab beetles (for the cute heart shaped scutellum that some have, as well as their association with the sun in egyptian mythology). (Also inspired by Ravana from FFXIV, i'm so mad how cool he is and how little the game shows him, like, come on.)

(Hey, I'm back for the time being! Sorry about my unannounced, impromptu hiatus- the simple fact is I live with ADHD, and my attention tends to wander. This is an attempt to get myself back on track, but I make no promises.
As for the witch engine herself- what an iconic creature! They've only got the one card, but they appear in the background of art in cards to represent Phyrexia's spread. With such a great design and a great name, I HAD to make these important to my Phyrexia.)
Witch engines are the hands of phyrexia, overseeing much of its ingress into other worlds directly. Indeed, most worlds touched by Phyrexia will know witch engines as the highest power therein, as a trio of these artificial horrors can orchestrate a planetary-scale infiltration and invasion with minimal guidance. But a witch engine is more than just a leader; she is a deadly weapon, capable of shredding through armies with a combination of necrotic magic and her own deadly whirling claws.
Because witch engines are required to organize a phyrexian assault and react to new planets' unique challenges, they are among the most independent and intelligent of phyrexians- each witch engine has its own personality matrix, with different engines being more cautious, curious, or patient than others. Each planetary invasion force is led by three such differing personalities, and each takes the others' opinion- as well as information from the current invasion- to arrive at the best plan of attack.
A witch engine typically keeps a skirge as a familiar, although other familiars with the Phyrexian template are not unheard of.

[The dogai are the archetypal monster in the lore of the Torres Straits. Unfortunately, they have a lot of Google camouflage. The assassin devil from D&D 3.5 and 4e is also called the "dogai". I have no idea if this is an intentional reference, or if it's a coincidence due to how many short combinations of syllables sound good. Like a lot of good ogres, they vacillate between dangerous and stupid, so I didn't want them to be super powerful. The appearance of the image comes from Oceanic Mythology by Roland Dixon, which refers to dogai as having the face of a flying fox.]
Dogai CR 4 CE Monstrous Humanoid This creature is a bestial humanoid, with a furry body and spindly, scaled arms and legs. Its face has a long muzzle and staring eyes, and its ears are as large as its body, wrapped around it like a shawl.
The dogai are bestial hags native to tropical islands. They are of low intelligence—few of them can speak Common, and they are rather foolish and easily tricked. Still, they are malicious and dangerous as any hag, and engage in much the same behavior as other hags, such as seducing people in disguise and kidnapping children in order to eat them.
A dogai often attacks from ambush, assuming the form of a beautiful woman or a harmless animal in order to get close enough to strike. These disguises are supplemented with mimicked vocalizations, including short snatches of intelligible speech. Once in combat, they rarely use tactics more creative than full attacks, but if they have a hard time clawing or biting a foe, may lash out with magic. Dogai are cowardly, and usually try to flee if they are losing a fight.
Dogai tend to live on remote islands uninhabited by other humanoids, and then travel to wreak havoc using magic. They usually wind walk at night, and their cloudy forms look something like humanoid constellations in the dark sky. Dogai can join and make covens as other hags can. Without a more intelligent hag to act as guidance, these covens can be especially destructive, but unfocused and disorganized.

dump all your ideas abt ur summer camp au i want to hear it
ahhhhhh first of all anon ily <333
here’s my ideas for the summer camp au so far :)
- it’s called quesadilla summer camp (im so creative lmao)
- the camp was created on an experiment. if it went well, they would implement the plans on a larger scale. (what’s the experiment? it’s assumed it has something to do with crossing the language barriers but no one actually specifies)
- all participants get college scholarships
- but the whole thing is really badly executed? like it just does not have the set up or functionality of a normal summer camp
- there’s just very little supervision or guidance
- the camp is run by some version of the duck, and they’re very uninvolved which leads cucurucho and zero to just Not Care.
- counselors are rubius, cucurucho, and the code entity
- the code entity goes by zero
- zero really doesn’t talk but they all learn pretty easy it’s how fucking awful of an idea it is to piss them off
- cucurucho and zero are they/it besties
- rubius is the same age/around the same age as the campers, cucurucho and zero are older
- sometimes one the campers walks into their cabin and sees an entirely new person in their cabin, which is normal. they switch cabins constantly
- the first week people just keep. randomly wandering off. “where’s wilbur?” two hours later wilbur walks out of the woods with a rock. (not even like a cool rock. it’s just a normal fucking rock)
- phil’s the mom friend. but he’s still a disaster. he’s just the only one with any shred of responsibility. he’s also just got an aura of trustworthiness that makes everyone trust him with their problems
- fit is just. so chill
- he also just? always has what you need? “yeah sorry it’s a bit hot in here, a screw that seemed important fell out of the fan earlier so we haven’t turned it on yet” “oh! i think it’s in here- nope screwdriver’s in the left pocket, where did you say the screw was?”
- dan just kinda disappears for a bit? cucurucho tells the campers he went on vacation but they don’t entirely believe them. dan comes back a little different.
- spreen is always either starting chaos or nowhere to be found
- quackity manages to keep putting himself in the middle of like every problem whether he’s involved or not
- however charlie pretty much is always involved
- luzu is had DID and arin is an alter
- luzu does know about arin but he was just diagnosed and is still figuring it all out
- roier flirts with everyone (except jaiden, he respects her boundaries)
- wilbur brought his guitar with him and sings at the campfire some nights
- charlie only joins in on the meme songs
- jaiden finds the most. random shit. “hey guys i found $20 stuck to the bottom of the picnic table with a piece of gum” “oh dude look! a patch of four leaf clovers!” “woah look at this cool bottle cap i just found!”
- maximus is a conspiracy theorist but in like a, hey this actually genuinely makes sense kind of way
- bad is terrified of spiders
- he saw one in the bathroom of his cabin and was completely moved in to a different cabin within seven minutes
- roier finds this hilarious
- foolish and vegetta are dating. no one knows how they got together or when they got together. if you ask either of them, you’ll get two completely different answers
- the brazilians join two-ish weeks in
- they all arrive together in a bus together and have already formed a Friendship on the journey there
- the bus was almost set ablaze 4-6 separate times (depends on your definition on separate)
- there is an extremely done cucurucho driving the bus
- forever sees phil and immediately turns to tell felps how that is the man of his dreams
- mike and pac are inseparable. they’re just kind of always within the vicinity of each other.
- cellbit, bad, foolish, and maximus attempt to take over the camp together. it doesn’t go as planned.

I stopped my thoughts that didn’t seem to be arriving at any answer, and bowed my head to Yoritomo.
(At the very least, I’m making some progress.)
And so, my life started to change—.
Kagetoki: Yuno. Review these scrolls and organise them according to how I taught you yesterday.
Yuno: Got it!
(I’ll do my best to help out today too.)
Under the guidance of Kagetoki, who was in-charge of the Shogunate's internal affairs, I spent the past few days doing simple tasks such as organising documents and keeping meeting records.
(I have to be careful about making mistakes because Kagetoki will chase me for an explanation!)
I nervously spread the scrolls out on the desk.
The scrolls handed to me contained information about the military strength and amount of provisions needed for the battle against Yoshitsune.
Yuno: So this is how much provisions we need…
Seated across from me, Kagetoki responded to my muttering.
Kagetoki: The upcoming battle is of a larger scale than the others we’ve fought.
Kagetoki: We must gather resources from all sources and ensure that we’re more than prepared.
(Nevertheless, it’s amazing that he calculated all these details so thoroughly.)
The number of soldiers who would be in-charge of carrying the provisions was also written down in the scroll.
(I can’t believe we need so many soldiers for the simple task of transporting provisions!)
Yuno: Battles are indeed as difficult to fight as I thought.
Kagetoki: Of course. War is more than just fighting.
Kagetoki: If we run out of provisions while the battle is underway, our soldiers’ lives would be endangered. That’s why it’s necessary for us to secure routes and sufficient manpower to efficiently transport these provisions, and form our tactics accordingly.
Kagetoki: And of course, that also includes gathering information about our enemies.
Yuno: … It’s like the preparation stage is already the start of the war…
Kagetoki: That’s right. There’s no room for tardiness and misjudgment.

His eyes still on the scroll he was reading, Kagetoki spoke to the two men.
Kagetoki: Eating and drinking in the library is strictly prohibited.
Tamamo: Don’t be so obstinate. These sweets are from the top confectionery shop in Kamakura.
Yuno: Eh? Tamamo, did you have them specially made…?
Tamamo: I spoke to the shop I frequently patronise. I wanted to treat you to these sweets too.
Yuno: You have a favourite shop already!?
(It’s only been a short while since we came to Kamakura.)
Tamamo: Building a strong sense of belonging is crucial for living a fulfilling life.
Tamamo: Confectionery shops, restaurants, kimono shops… ah, I also made a few acquaintances at gambling dens recently.
Yuno: Even gambling dens…?

Kagetoki: Morinaga, it was you who took him to gambling dens, wasn't it?
Kagetoki: Refrain from taking dubious creatures to dubious places.
Tamamo: How rude of you to refer to the Nine-Tailed Fox as a dubious creature.

Kagetoki spoke calmly and put away the scrolls on his desk.

Kagetoki: Yuno. Let’s take a break.

Yuno: Are you fond of sweets?
Tamamo: Now that’s extremely surprising. Judging by your personality, one would think that you’re a fan of spicy food.

Kagetoki: You’re one lavish fox. I don’t mind sharing some of my syrup with you, if you want.
Tamamo: … What’s the syrup for?
Tamamo narrowed his eyes suspiciously.
Kagetoki: Drizzling it on the rice cakes will make them sweeter. Since their taste is altered, you won’t feel sick of eating them.
Yuno: That’s very extreme…!
Morinaga: That’s Kagetoki for you.
(Morinaga is so calm, brushing that off with just one line…)
Tamamo: Kagetoki… don’t you dare pour that syrup on my sweets.
Tamamo warned Kagetoki who took out the contents of his furoshiki. At the same time, footsteps could be heard approaching the library.
Shigehira: What are all of you doing here?
(Shigehira!)
Tamamo: Oh, Shigehira. Did the smell attract you to come here?
Shigehira: What smell? I only came to return a book I borrowed…

With a smile, Morinaga placed his hands on Shigehira’s shoulders and forcefully sat him down.
Tamamo: Have some sweets, Shigehira.

The sweets Tamamo had brought were ‘kinton’ (mashed sweet potatoes with sweetened chestnuts).
Everyone’s faces lit up at the sight of the piles of rice cakes and kinton.

When I bit into a piece of rice cake, a subtle sweetness spread through my mouth.
Yuno: This is delicious!
Kagetoki: Is that so? I bought them from the shop closest to the castle. If you like them, it’s easy to buy more.
Yuno: The location of the shop makes sense…
(He’s so practical.)
Tamamo handed me a plate.
Tamamo: Yuno. Try my recommendation too.
Tamamo: This kinton was made by a highly skilled artisan with decades of experience and the finest ingredients.c
Yuno: Thank you!

Yuno: Wow, this tastes exquisite!
Tamamo: I know right? That shop makes other fine sweets as well.
Yuno: Even though you’re a demon fox, you're quite a gourmet, Tamamo.
Tamamo: I don’t need nutrients like human beings do, so eating is a form of entertainment for me.

Yuno: I can see that you’ve become well adapted to life in Kamakura, Tamamo.
I was rather envious of him, and Tamamo tilted his head curiously.
Tamamo: Haven’t you also? I heard that the soldiers often talk about you.
Yuno: Eh? Why is that?
Morinaga: Ah. You’ve been providing medical attention for the soldiers who hurt themselves during training, haven't you?
(But that’s part of my job at the castle…)
I blinked in surprise.
Shigehira: I heard that the guys at the training grounds are always competing to be the first to receive treatment from you.
Yuno: W-What?
(I didn’t know that…!)

Kagetoki: What meaningless competition.
Morinaga: They’re a bunch of men. Up until now, there has never been a woman who even came close to the training grounds.
Morinaga: Well then… since they so badly want to be treated by you, perhaps I should go harder on them during training.
Yuno: … Your smile is scaring me, Morinaga.
(Morinaga can get very merciless when it comes to training. … Even though he’s usually a kind man.)
Yuno: But providing medical attention is all I can do, it’s nothing special.
Tamamo: You say that, but more people have been requesting medicine in the castle, right?
Yuno: Yeah. A little at a time…
I felt grateful to be able to meet many people while working in the castle, and they would approach me if they needed medicine.
(I can only open my own clinic after my deal with Tamamo ends, but I’m glad I can still work as a physician in this manner.)
Shigehira: By the way…
Shigehira glanced at me while eating a rice cake.
Shigehira: Going into battle by yourself is already a big enough deal on its own, but I can’t believe you’re voluntarily allowing yourself to be made use of like this.
Yuno: R-Really?
Shigehira: I personally find it hard to understand.
Shigehira: You offered to work here as an apothecary… but Kagetoki often gives you more work to do.
Kagetoki: I’ll put anyone and anything to good use if they're useful.
Morinaga happily rested his chin in his hand and glanced at Kagetoki.
Morinaga: So, what do you think? How do you find Yuno’s work performance?
Kagetoki: Let me think…
(Uh…)
I squirmed a little as he fixed his gaze onto me through his glasses.
(When I first started work, I was clueless about everything and caused quite a few problems for Kagetoki…)
Kagetoki: Considering that she hasn’t run away yet, I supposed she has some backbone.
Shigehira • Tamamo: …
Yuno: Eh?
Morinaga: Countless vassals have had their morale broken due to Kagetoki’s brutal comments.
Kagetoki: I’m particularly talented in any specific areas, but perhaps I could say I have some effective methods in conducting discipline.
Tamamo: Is it that hard to praise her properly?
Morinaga: It’s rare enough for Kagetoki to say that much about anyone.
(Is that so…? So I can consider that as a compliment, I guess?)
Yuno: Thank you, Kagetoki.
Kagetoki: I don’t recall asking you to thank me. I will keep making use of you, so you best prepare yourself for that.
Yuno: … I’ll work hard, please be merciful.
The conversation filled my heart with warmth.
(I hope I can continue bonding with the members of the Shogunate like this.)
Through helping them with their work, I came to know that these warriors faced their battles with unwavering determination.
Shigehira: Hmm…
Tamamo: You can be rest assured now, Shigehira.
Shigehira: Huh?
Tamamo: You’re here to check whether Kagetoki is mistreating Yuno, aren't you?
(What do you mean?)
Shigehira: I already said that I’m here to return a book.
Shigehira: All of you just happened to be here.
Tamamo: Oh really? You seemed to be searching for Yuno earlier on.
(Are you serious!?)
Shigehira: Were you watching me!? … Y-You were seeing things, Tamamo.
Morinaga: You’re so cute, Shigehira.
Shigehira: Cut it out with the bad jokes— mmph.
(Hey…)
Shigehira was about to retort when Morinaga stuffed a piece of rice cake into his mouth.

Morinaga: Now, now, now. Have a sweet and calm down.
Shigehira: Mmph…
Shigehira shot Morinaga a death glare with his mouth full.
Yuno: S-Shigehira, are you alright? Would you like some tea?
Shigehira: … Being nice to me won’t make me accept you.
Yuno: That’s not my intention at all. Although…
(If what Tamamo said is true, I should thank him properly.)
I turned and bowed at Shigehira.
Yuno: Thank you for being concerned about me.
Yuno: I asked to work at the Shogunate for my own benefit, and have yet to accomplish anything worth praising, but…
Yuno: Recently, I feel that I’ve been gradually growing closer to the people around me because of my work, and that makes me really happy.
Shigehira: … Is that so?
Yuno: Yes!
Shigehira averted his eyes, but I was sure I saw that his ears had turned red from embarrassment.
Tamamo: You’ve become much more positive, Yuno.c
Yuno: I certainly hope I have.
(I feel like my head is clearing up.)
(Would the current me have given Yoshitsune a different answer?)
(But…)
Ironically, what brought upon this change in me was my greatest enemy, Minamoto no Yoshitsune.
(The next time we meet each other will be on the battlefield. I have to be mentally prepared before that time comes.)
And the days went by—.
I was walking down the corridor after work and happened to overhear the conversation between two maids passing by.
Maid 1: Are you going to the festival later?
Maid 2: Of course! Someone I’m interested in invited me. I've been looking forward to this day.
(A festival…? Oh right. There’s one happening in town today.)
(My schedule is clear for the rest of today, so I guess I’ll go have a look.)
(Wow…!)
I was surrounded by festive music as I strolled through the streets of Kamakura at night.
Lanterns were put up at the storefronts, and people crowded in front of the various stalls.
(Walking around and looking at everything feels so great.)
(I thought of inviting others to come with me…)
(But since this was an impromptu decision, I didn’t invite anyone.)
(Moreover, they were most likely busy with preparations for the war.)
As I walked around the festival, the aroma from the food stalls filled my nose.
(I haven't had dinner yet, so I should buy something to eat. I’ll go check out what the stalls have to offer!)
I visited a few stalls and bought some dango.
(I’m a little tired…)
I walked away from the festival crowd and found myself in an area behind a shrine.
(This place is so deserted. It’s giving me the chills…)
I started brisk walking back to where I came from, when suddenly…
Wandering Samurai 1: Hey, young lady. Are you alone?
Wandering Samurai 2: You must be very lonely having no one with you on a festival night. Let us keep you company.
(What do these guys want from me…?)
I was suddenly surrounded by a group of men with a crude way of speaking.
(Looking at their appearance and the swords hanging from their waists, they must be wandering samurai…)
Wandering Samurai 3: We just arrived in Kamakura tonight, so we have no one to have fun with.
(What should I do…)
Yuno: Pardon me… I already have company.
I bowed to them slightly and tried to walk away, but…
Wandering Samurai 1: Don’t be scared.
Wandering Samurai 2: You came to a place like this all alone. You were asking for this to happen.
Yuno: Stop—
One of them forcefully grabbed my arm and pulled me.
Yuno: Let go!
My attempts to break free were in vain.
Wandering Samurai 2: Don’t worry, we’ll be gentle.
Yuno: I don’t want to, someone—
I was about to be pulled into the bushes when—
???: Taking advantage of a festival to assault a woman. How uncouth.
I heard a quiet voice.
(Huh…?)
Wandering Samurai 1: Who’s that!?
The next thing I knew, someone jumped down from on top of a tree.
???: Come here.
Yuno: Ah—
The person quickly pulled my arm and I fell against their chest.
Bewildered, I looked up at him—
(A kitsune mask…?)
The masked man moved us further from the wandering samurai before stepping forward to shield me from them.
Wandering Samurai 1: Wha— who the hell are you!?
???: I’m not one to give introductions.
Wandering Samurai 2: Don’t try to be funny! Hand over the girl!
Yuno: Look out!
The wandering samurai’s eyes glinted as they glared at the man and drew their swords before lunging at him at once.
(Kya…!)
???: That leaves me no choice.
???: — Be ready.
He gripped the hilt of his sword and in a flash—
Wandering Samurai 1: Guwahh…!
The man swiftly deflected multiple swords swung at him.
Yuno: No way…
(I remember this swordsmanship.)
(Not just that, his voice too…)
(Could he be… but…)
The wandering samurai backed away, and the masked man stepped forward at the same time.
Wandering Samurai 2: R-Retreat!
They quickly scrambled away.
After watching them disappear, the man turned his back to me in silence.
Yuno: Um…!
Yuno: Lord Yoshitsune…?
???: …
I nervously called out to him.
The man turned around and took off his mask—

How to Make Bdubs in DnD
I’ll go level by level and explain the reasoning behind my decisions and how I think it fits them in character. This build assumes starting at level 8 but includes notes on differences if you start at level 1 and progress to 8. This isn't intended as a guide on how to play dnd, just how to build this character.

Class: Druid (Circle of Dreams) 7, Cleric (Life Domain) 1
Race: Goblin
Base Ability Scores: 
Str 13 (+1)
Dex 8, (-1)
Con 15 (+2) +1 from race = 16 (+3)
Int 10 (+0)
Wis 15 (+2) +2 from race = 17 (+3)
Cha 10 (+0)
Background: Guild Artisan (builder/carpenter)
As a Wisdom based caster, Bdubs will of course be prioritizing his Wisdom stat. The Strength score is necessary to wear heavy armour, which he gets from his cleric dip. If the whole “druids don’t wear metal” thing is an issue, just flavour it as being made of something else.
I built Bdubs to be an extremely good healer outside of combat, but in combat he will probably struggle to match people in damage (which is okay! That’s the other party member’s job)
Before we get into the class features, we’ll start with the goblin race features:
Darkvision 60ft.
Fey ancestry (advantage on saving throws vs being charmed)
Fury of the Small (pump extra damage equal to proficiency bonus onto attacks or spells) “I AM NOT SHORT I AM VERY TALL”
Nimble Escape: disengage or hide as a bonus action.
And the Guild Artisan background features:
Skill proficiencies: Insight and Persuasion
Guild Membership: The guild has your back
First, we start with a level in Cleric. At level 1, you gain:
Proficiency in light and medium armour and shields.
Proficiency in simple weapons
Proficiency in Wisdom and Charisma saving throws
Skill proficiencies: Religion, Medicine (obvious choices for a cleric)
Three cantrips: Guidance, Light, Toll the Dead
1st lvl Cleric spells: Clerics are prepared casters, you can swap out spells after a long rest, but Life Domain Clerics automatically have Bless and Cure Wounds prepared. Suggested spells would be Healing Word, Sanctuary, Shield of Faith and Guiding Bolt
Subclass: Life Domain
Life Domain grants: 
Disciple of Life feature. Your healing spells heal an extra 2 + the spell’s level HP (the main reason for this 1 lvl dip. The extra healing scales with the spell level, not cleric level, so there’s no need for extra levels in this class)
Proficiency in Heavy Armour (allows you to wear chain mail)
As for his deity, Bdubs of course worships himself as he established himself as a god in the hermitcraft x empires crossover.
We only take one level of Cleric; the rest is now all druid. If you’re worried about level progression, it may be more convenient to start with druid and only dip into cleric after 5 levels. The main difference would be different saving throw proficiencies, but it’s not a big deal. The biggest reason to start Cleric is for the Disciple of Life feature to buff all your healing spells.

At 2nd level, we begin our journey into Druid.
At level 1, a Druid gains:
Druidic: secret language so that when you go “AUAAUAHGGGHUGETHO” it’s actually words
Two cantrips: Druidcraft, Primal Savagery
1st lvl Druid spells: Druids are also prepared casters like Clerics, but the important spell is to take GOODBERRY. 
Bdubs is a druid because he is of course a moss enjoyer.
Goodberry synergises extremely well with Disciple of Life. Normally, Goodberry creates 10 berries that heal 1 hp each. Disciple of Life boosts the effect of healing spells by 2 + the spell level (goodberry is 1st lvl), so each Goodberry instead heals 4 HP for a total of 40 HP with a 1st lvl spell at lvl 2.

At 3rd level, we gain a second Druid level, which grants:
Wildshape
Subclass: Circle of Dreams
Circle of dreams grants:
Balm of the Summer Court, grants you a pool of d6s to heal party members with, which is even more healing for your party. (Does not synergise with Disciple of Life as it is not a spell)
At 4th level, we gain a third Druid level, which grants:
2nd level spells. Suggested spells: Healing Spirit (multiple instances of healing, strong synergy with Disciple of Life), Spike Growth (hurty moss)
Additional Cantrip: Anything works, suggested: Infestation
At 5th level, we gain a fourth Druid level, which grants:
Ability Score Improvement OR Feat. If you don’t use feats, add +1 to Wisdom and +1 to Strength.
Feat: Fey Wanderer. Grants a +1 to Wisdom (bumps it up to 18 for a +4 modifier) and the Misty Step spell, which is handy for running away from danger like Bdubs often does (“AAAUHGGHAAGH *disappears in a puff of smoke���). 
Improved wildshape
At 6th level, we gain a fifth Druid level, which grants:
3rd level spells. Suggested spells: Conjure Animals (HORSES!), Plant Growth (MOSS) or Speak with Plants (SENTIENT MOSS)

At 7th level, we gain a sixth Druid level, which grants:
Subclass feature: Hearth of Moonlight and Shadow. Basically, allows you to obscure an area to make a safe space for your party to take a rest in (gotta shreep!)
At 8th level, we take our seventh Druid level, which grants:
4th level spells. Suggested spells: Polymorph, Confusion
Summary:
Final Stats:
Str 13 (+1)
Dex 8 (-1)
Con 16 (+3)
Int 10 (+0)
Wis 18 (+4)
Cha 10 (+0)
Feat: Fey Wanderer
Cantrips: Druidcraft, Primal Savagery, Guidance, Light, Toll the Dead, Infestation

1st to 4th level spells: Prepare up to 5 Cleric spells and 11 Druid spells.
And that’s it! The result is a druid with extremely powerful healing abilities but who may also turn around and bite you or summon a stampede of horses on you. Perfect for Bdubs!

8: ZODIAC CONSTELLATIONS
The ancient Greek Zodiakos, or Zodiac, is a division of the celestial sphere into twelve equal parts; each one containing a specific group of stars with a mythic association called a constellation. Ancient Greeks used the constellations for sailing navigation, time keeping for seasonal agricultural practices like planting and harvesting crops, mythic storytelling purposes, and astrology practices.
 Hellenistic Astrology, taking influence from the Babylonians and Egyptians, sought meaning in the zodiac signs and how they influenced a person’s character based on the position of the sun when they were born.  They also used this practice for divination, providing guidance and predictions for the future. Let’s take a look at the twelve Zodiac constellations and their mythic tales.
1.) Aries (March 21-April 19) represents the flying golden ram sent by the gods to save the royal children Phrixus and Helle from sacrifice, and whose fleece later becomes the quested prize for the Argonauts.
2.) Taurus (April 20-May 20) represents the bull which Zeus transformed into to seduce Europa, and is linked to the Cretan Bull and the myth of the Minotaur.
3.) Gemini (May 21-June 21) represents the twins Castor and Pollux, sons of Zeus and Leda, known for their inseparable bond and heroic deeds. 
4.) Cancer (June 22- July 22) represents the crab sent by Hera to distract Hercules during his battle with the Hydra, later placed in the sky by Hera as a constellation.
5.) Leo (July 23- Aug. 22) represents the lion, representing strength and kingship, associated with the Nemean Lion defeated by Hercules.
6.) Virgo (Aug 23- Sept 22) represents the maiden, often linked to the goddess of agriculture and fertility, such as Demeter or Persephone.
7.) Libra (Sept 23- Oct 23) represents goddess of justice Astraea, daughter of Themis, who carries the scales of justice.
8.) Scorpio (Oct 24- Nov 21) represents the scorpion sent by Artemis or Gaia to kill Orion
9.) Sagittarius (Nov 22- Dec 21) represents the centaur archer, often identified as the wise and skilled Chiron.
10.) Capricorn (Dec 22- Jan 19) represents the sea goat Aegipan, who aided Zeus in his fight against Typhon.
11.) Aquarius (Jan 20- Feb 18) represents the cupbearer of the gods, Ganymede, who was abducted by Zeus and placed among the stars.
12.) Pisces (Feb 19- March 20) represents the two fish, Aphrodite and Eros, who transformed to escape the monster Typhon.

Agent 4. First and foremost this is the top of my list. I would love to have them appear in full 3d (and be available to see/have their own dedicated place on the map like captain 3 is cuz i want to take pictures. but thats less important) but honestly at this point ill even take them just being mentioned. it would suck if they were the only agent to not show up at all in 3 but like PLEASE JUST LET ME KNOW THEY ARE OK AND WELL WHERE DID YALL LEAVE 4 ARE THEY JUST STATIONED ELSEWHERE ARE THEY FOCUSING ON PERSONAL/NON NSS STUFF PLEASE MENTION MY DARLING BABY- ahem sorry im very normal
No dedf1sh villain :( i mean i ould be fine with it from a storytelling point if its good. but like. i want to imagine acht being ok after all this. pls let her be fine and ok. like on one hand it would be cool. but on the other hand... thats my baby pls dont make her evil :(
NO MARINA VILLAIN EITHER. well like. this is more subjective. but like. no like intentional "i wanna take over the world and do harm" kind of villain. if shes responsible for the bad stuff in an indirect or unintentional way id be ok w that. like idk she tried to do smth and it got out of hand? but if its just "ooh isure do hate the splatfest results so now im gonna turn evil >:(" kind of thing i just dont think it would fit her character.
some kind of reward. beyond just beating the dlc obviously. like. its meant to be played over and over and over again, right? i want some sort of reward(s) to work toward to incentivize that. idk i just want smth else to work towards besides just salmon run scales or playing pvp.
im also really looking forward to seeing pearl and 8 together again. i just feel like pearl being the one giving the advice and guidance, potentially without having a voice of reason like marina, is going to be very fun. she says the funniest most unhinged stuff. i adore pearl and i cannot wait to see her.
IM ALSO RLLY LOOKING FORWARD TO FIGHTING ALONGSIDE PEARL. it was SO much fun having little buddy in hero mode. like just having a lil companion who helps u in video games is the best.
at this point i think its time to retire the octoling enemies unless we have a reason for them. they barely made any sense at all in 3, and unless they do something creative with them i just dont think they have a place as enemies again. luckily none of the trailers show enemy octolings, so fingers crossed we don't have to beat up poor mind controlled octolings for a third time.
ok i know not everyone agrees with this. and given how side order looks so far, i dont think/actually want it to happen. but it would be nice to get more deep cut content. we didnt get to actually spend time with them in story mode. they were just antagonists the whole time and then once they joined the players side we got immediately thrust into the final parts of story mode. they didnt really get a chance to shine as friends rather than foe. but ig we already get tosee that on the splatcast. and the story mode is rlly just to show the other side of them we dont get to see on air. so at this point from what we know about side order, it wouldnt make any sense for themto be there. they dont know 8. but early on before we got any trailers and all we knew was that there was going to be a dlc with off the hook,,,, i was hoping for a deep cut cameo... now we have no way for deep cut and off the hook to meet after this. like deep cut and the squid sisters know each other and get along(?). and we know marina is a huge squid sisters fan, and pearl at least knows of them. Plus pearl and marina have met capn cuttlefish and made friends w him. so were probably able to infer that off the hook and the squid sisters have hung out more since octo expansion. i think there is even official art of them together in multiple pictures? so they are obviously friends now. but deep cut and off the hook dont know each other.... SO HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GET A DEEP CUT, SQUID SISTERS, AND OFF THE HOOK CONCERT. I NEED INTERACTIONS WITH THEM.
honestly i hope they lean into the like... vibes of it all. but this is splatoon. the art and music always gives 130%. like its always good. theres nothing to rlly worry about there.
ok so im hopeing this isnt going to be some fully disconected alternate timeline where none of this affects the normal timeline or characters. im still partial to my own theory of the whole thing being a simulation built by marina in her hopes to see what a world of order would look like. but marina got stuck in it (or is refusing to leave maybe?) it would be unclear to 8 and pearl where in the simulation she is or if she is even here of her own free will or not. so u know 8 also goes into the simulation. and pearl probably doesnt go in, but is able to control the pearl bot from outside the simulation so that she can still interact with the real world. i mean pearl can cover for marina, but if both famous idols suddenly went missing it would be a pretty big panic. or maybe theres some other reason why pearl cant be in there fully. or she is in the simulation fully but for whatever reason she is in the pearlbot form. anyway this would allow us to have the fun of an alternate timeline while the characters are still from out timeline.
SPEAKING OF. if we do get the whole "our version of the characters AND alternate version of the character" thing. i want alternate marina to be the villain. like maybe marina in the simulation/alternate world didnt mean to be a villain, but in her quest for order and safety she ended up hurting others sel expression and creativity and all that. but our marina finds her and is like yo maybe this is... not a great thing. but alternate marina doesnt listen. this would be interesting cuz then pearl and 8 could get messages from marina that seem out of character but nope its just alternate marina boom big reveal. idk man.
ive realized im more theorizing than talking about what i want to see at this pint. so i should uh... probably end it here. cuz i can theorize all day but no ones gonna know whats right till it comes out. anyway yeah my biggest thing i want is probably an incintive of some kind to play over and ver.
also it 5 in the mornaling and i have not slept. so if you see grammar/pselling mistakes? no you didnt. dont ask why im awake(couldnt sleep so i figured id come check tumblr and try and get more requests done but i only actually ot one thing done before egting sidetracked by this ask)

EFT Tapping: A Powerful Technique for Emotional Healing Shaina Tranquilino November 4, 2023

Stress, anxiety, and emotional turmoil have become an integral part of our lives. We often find ourselves struggling to cope with overwhelming emotions and negative beliefs that hinder our personal growth and well-being. However, there is a powerful technique called Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) tapping that can help us release these emotional blockages and experience profound healing.
So, what exactly is EFT tapping? Developed in the 1990s by Gary Craig, EFT tapping combines elements of traditional Chinese medicine and modern psychology to address emotional issues. It involves gentle tapping on specific acupressure points on the body while focusing on the negative emotion or belief we want to overcome.
The rationale behind EFT tapping lies in the concept of energy meridians in our body. According to ancient Chinese medicine, disruptions or imbalances in our energy flow lead to various physical and emotional ailments. By stimulating specific acupressure points through tapping, we aim to restore the balance of energy flow and alleviate emotional distress.
The process of EFT tapping begins with identifying a specific issue or problem that causes emotional distress. This could be anything from anxiety, phobias, trauma, limiting beliefs, or even physical pain associated with emotional triggers. Once identified, we rate the intensity of this issue on a scale from 0-10.
Next, we formulate a setup statement that acknowledges the problem while affirming self-acceptance and unconditional love towards ourselves. For example, if dealing with anxiety about public speaking, one might say "Even though I feel anxious when speaking in public, I deeply and completely accept myself."
Then comes the actual tapping phase where we gently tap on specific acupressure points while repeating statements related to the issue at hand. These points include the top of the head (crown), eyebrows (beginning of eyebrows near bridge of the nose), side of the eyes, under the eyes, under the nose, chin (just below the lip), collarbone (where it meets sternum), and under the arm (about 4 inches below armpit). This tapping sequence is repeated multiple times while focusing on the problem.
As we tap through these points, we might experience a range of emotions. Some people report feeling relief almost immediately, while others may notice a shift in their emotional state after several rounds of tapping. It's important to pay attention to any changes that occur during this process.
The final step involves reevaluating the intensity of our issue and rating it again on a scale from 0-10.
