Notes:
The most awaited Flower Festival. Buckle up, simps.
Spring 24
Four days.
For freaking days since you had abruptly decided to avoid her.
And yes, she's definitely counting it.
What she didn't get is why? Why the sudden aversion?
Haley had tried to rack her brain for any reason, just anything but she couldn't find any. She tried to recall the events that night.
Haley took you home from the saloon because your ass was so drunk you couldn't even stand on your own feet without tripping.
And then there's... that.
With a heavy sigh, Haley placed her white dress for the flower dance on her bed.
She should have been excitedly preparing for the upcoming dance, but the stupid farmer had been occupying her mind today.
Even yesterday.
And even the day before that, and the day after that.
After your sudden declaration of 'feelings?' (yes, she's questioning because what the hell does that mean?), Haley had found herself speechless for the umpteenth time that night.
She couldn't find her voice, or rather, she didn't know how to respond to that. Fortunately, before she could, you shook your head as if you had said something silly.
Your moment of soberness dissipated completely as you slumped back to Haley. You had been a bit cooperative after that as both of you were able to go to your farm without any further hitch.
Haley was all but familiar with your farm. She had occasionally taken her pictures here when Old Railey was alive. She was fond of him.
He was kind and he kind of reminded her of her grandma. When he died, there was a large part of Haley that still grieves for him until now. Which is maybe why she was a bit apprehensive at you when she first came. At Haley's little time at Pelican town, she knew how much Old Railey sacrificed for the farm, to see it run down like that and be given to a complete stranger— a city girl no less, never mind you're his granddaughter.
But as she stood at the entrance of the farm, with the same farmer she loathed beside her, she couldn't help but feel a sense of pride as she saw the state of the farm for the first time since you moved here.
The once-overgrown grass and unruly weeds that had taken over the farm were now perfectly tamed. A neatly constructed wooden path led towards what Haley assumed was your cabin.
Despite the darkness surrounding her, she could spot a variety of spring crops flourishing in the distance. Blue jazz, cauliflower, green beans, parsnips, and many others were thriving under your care. While there were still renovations to be done, Haley couldn't help but be impressed by how well you were doing. As if you're really meant for farming.
The cabin looks freshly renovated, too. Last time she heard it was a bit crusty and on the verge of collapsing.
As Haley stepped into your home, she was greeted by a small ginger cat. The feline locked eyes with her for a moment, assessing her presence before realizing she meant no harm and had come with her owner.
Sensing Haley's intention, the cat let out a loud meow, leading her towards a closed door on the right, which she assumed to be your room.
Everything seemed to be going smoothly. Haley had managed to settle you on the bed and was ready to head home herself. However, it appeared that you had other plans.
You suddenly sat up straight and grabbed her hand as if sensing Haley was about to leave.
Haley looked at you, waiting expectantly.
And then it happened.
There's vomit.
It was everywhere—on Haley's pajamas, the blankets, and even your own shirt.
Haley wanted to scream in frustration, but worry had won over her disgust as she heard you have a coughing fit. She gently shook your shoulders, trying to get your attention.
"Are you okay?" she asked, concern lacing her words.
"I'm..." you coughed, voice strained, "my head hurts..."
And that's the sole reason Haley has to borrow some set of clothes from the farmer's wardrobe, change the bed sheets and blankets—
And...
Change your clothes.
The memory made Haley's cheeks burn with embarrassment, but she had no other choice. There was no way she could sleep beside you with vomit-stained sheets, and you smelling like that.
Haley's face flushed with embarrassment as a sudden realization hit her like a ton of Emily's hippie rocks.
Oh...
There's also one bed. You and her slept on the same bed.
So, it kinda makes sense now.
Why in Yoba's name has she just realized this now?
No wonder Emily had given her a funny look earlier when she had returned that morning wearing obviously your varsity shirt.
Haley had also completely missed the bright, bold letters spelling out "L/N" stitched on the back of the shirt, which is also why Penny couldn't look at her in the eyes when they crossed paths that morning when the redhead decided to visit you at the farm to check on you.
Yoba.
They must have thought that you and her had slept together.
And maybe you thought that, too as well.
The thought made Haley cringe and she facepalmed at the awkwardness of the situation.
It certainly didn't help that you couldn't remember anything from that night after your eighth bottle.
And to add to the mix-up, you had to wake up with a hangover and everything and seeing Haley casually cooking breakfast in your house while wearing your shirt.
It was practically a neon signboard pointing at her as if saying "hey, last night was an absolute blast, why don't I make you some breakfast while I'm here?"
Just great.
This is an absolute disaster.
****
"Is she joining the dance?" Haley wondered aloud, her eyes fixed on you who was engaged in a conversation with Penny, Maru, and Harvey.
"Hmm?" Alex paused in his fidgeting, adjusting his suit that had somehow grown on him. He followed Haley's gaze and spotted you amidst the group. "Oh, you mean Old Mac? I don't think so."
Haley turned to him with furrowed eyebrows," Old Mac? What's with you and all these people calling her all sorts of names? Why can't you just call her Y/n and stick with it?"
"Whoa, slow down, cowgirl." Alex barked out a laugh at her sudden outburst. "What's got your panties in a twist?"
"Nothing!" Haley replied, trying to brush off her frustration. Deep down, though, the different names people used for you bothered her more than she cared to admit.
And the worst of it all is she doesn't know why she's pissed.
She turned away as she began pacing back and forth in the middle of the performance area.
She needs to practice her moves. Despite being crowned the flower queen for five consecutive years and having the dance steps etched into her muscle memory, she didn't want to be so full of herself.
But in reality, she was just trying her absolute best to not let her eyes settle on someone who wasn't even looking her way.
Which she have found to be a challenge.
You looked dashing, if Haley would dare admit that aloud.
But with whom?
Your hair is down too in its slick, natural wave, which you usually tied up in a messy ponytail.
You looked pretty similar to the way you looked when you first arrived in the town though you forgo the black slacks in exchange of a more brighter blue one, the same shade of the ridiculous suits the men wore for the dance which have made her assume you'll be dancing as well.
Usually, there are already designated partners for the dance and it would be quite impossible for you to learn the steps in just a month.
Maybe Penny? Leah? Or that weirdo that dyes her head blue all the time? She assumed you were close with her when you dominated all the eggs Abigail was after which earned the kids to win during the egg festival.
Whatever.
Why would she care anyway? You weren't even looking in her direction. Not even noticing that Haley did her hair differently or that she had chosen to apply a more natural make-up because you told her she's pretty enough without them.
"Ah!"
The sound of cry from Alex had made her dash towards his place in alarm.
Sam was immediate to his side, along with the other townspeople. "What happened?" she asked in urgent.
"Sorry, pal. I may have thrown it a bit too far." Sam scratched his neck in shame.
"Samson!" Jodi angrily admonished her son. "Look just what you did!"
"Ow..." Alex grunted as he tried to reach for his foot. "I think I broke my ankle."
"Can you stand?" You questioned as you helped him up. "Why'd you even bring your grid ball here?"
"H-hah. I can but I don't think I can walk it off. Hey, gramps. Mind if I borrow your wheels?" He tried to joke it off.
"Alexander!" Evelyn wasn't pleased with ay all with his humor.
"Heh, I'll give you this if I could go back home and watch TV."
"George! Don't even encourage him."
"Ehem," Mayor Lewis cleared his throat, drawing the attention of the crowd. "The festival is about to begin in five minutes. Will you be able to dance, young man?"
"I don't think so." Alex immediately answered, causing Haley to snap her head towards him in disbelief.
"What do you mean you can't?" she exclaimed, her eyes widening. "How am I supposed to dance without a partner?"
She knew it was a selfish question but how can he be so stupid bringing his ball with him?!
A mischievous grin spread across Alex's lips as he pulled you closer, resting his hand on your shoulders. "Old Mac here can replace me. I already taught her the moves."
"What?" you choked, eyebrows raising so far it hid behind your bangs. "I don't..."
"You got this. There's no need to worry. In fact," he shrugged off his coat and handed it over to your shaking hands. "It doesn't fit me anymore. It'll probably suit you better."
"B-but..."
"Wouldn't it be better if Sam takes your place since he's already familiar with the dance?" Penny tentatively suggested as she eyed Haley. "I know how much winning the crown means to you, Haley. It might be best for Sam to step in for Alex, considering it was his fault too." She glanced apologetically at Sam. "Sorry, Sam. I can dance with Y/n/n instead."
"Um, no," Alex dismissed the idea with a wave of his hand. "Haley feels more comfortable dancing with Old Mac. That's more important."
"W-wait a second," Haley finally found her voice, her gaze still avoiding the person standing beside her. She could feel your eyes on her, and Haley wasn't ready just yet to see the look of refusal from your eyes. "Can't we get a say in this?!"
"Nope!" Alex chirped.
"Very well, then," Mayor Lewis interjected, clapping his hands together. "Let the festival begin!"
****
"You don't have to do this if you don't want to," Haley whispered, her hands trembling slightly as they held onto your neck. Her palms had grown clammy, and her racing heart seemed to drown out the lively rhythm of the music.
"Huh?"
Your voice held a hint of confusion, drawing Haley's gaze away from the ground to meet a pair of captivating gray eyes. The faintest tinge of pink colored your cheeks and your eyes struggled to hold steady.
You looked... bashful.
It also did not miss her how the hands securely wrapped around her waist were shaking as well.
"You were avoiding me." Haley finally said, and she commended her voice for not squeaking. "You don't want to dance with me."
"I..." You seemed taken aback by Haley's observation. "I wasn't..."
"Could've fooled me," Haley muttered under her breath as you gracefully twirled her around and pulled her back into your arms.
Despite the thick tension between you two, it looked like you really did actually perfected your moves and were able to dance in sync with Haley's.
"You wanted to dance with Penny, don't you?" She almost sounded accusatory.
"I don't." Your answer was swift. "I don't want to dance with anyone but you. And I wasn't avoiding you."
Haley avoided your gaze. "Where were you then? I haven't seen you in days. You haven't visited us for breakfast." Her grip on your coat tightened as she looked up from the taller woman. "If it was because of what happened that day, nothing happened, okay?"
As you twirled her once more, your bodies drew closer, so close that she could also see bits of hazel from your gray eyes.
Your cheeks burned once more as you muttered, "It's not that."
"Tell me," Haley demanded.
"I was out mining." You admitted sheepishly. "And maybe I was kind of avoiding you..." Your eyes started cringing at the glare Haley was giving you. "I was embarrassed that I puked on you. Alex told me it was your self-care day and... I know I ruined it for you. And now I ruined your dance."
Haley's gaze softened drastically. "Idiot," she mutters, her arms finally relaxing against your shoulder. "You haven't ruined anything." She told you simply.
"Yet," you added, chuckling.
As the tension dissipates, you grow a little bolder as your hands relaxed around her waist, pulling Haley a little tighter against you. The warmth radiating from your palms gave Haley a profound sense of security, one she haven't felt for a long, long time.
"You know," Haley whispered against your neck, relaxing against your embrace. She didn't care if this wasn't part of the choreography. "You smell good today."
She felt you smiled against her hair, "Had to smell my best for my queen, right?"

Can you write some headcanons of how Harley is with a farm gf that is quite of a nerd on her free time?
Haley x Nerd Gf Hc's
when haley had invited you to have a sleepover, she imagined a hot make out session that might lead to more
Not you rambling about your nerdy hobbies.
like she literally spent so long perfecting her hair and make up
she was STRESSING over which cute lacy pajamas to wear
all for you to just explain an entire franchise to her.
she had to admit that she was pretty disappointed but seeing you light up as you talked about your favorite games made it (almost) all worth it
she doesn't understand anything you're saying but she nods along while filing or painting her nails
on rainy days or days where you have free time, you'll play video games on your computer/console
a lot of the times you play with abigail bc she needs help and those are the days haley gives the most attitude
she'll lay in bed sulking and when you try to give her some affection, she'll push you away with a huff
"why don't you go back to your girlfriend?"
you have to keep trying though, after a certain amount of time she'll eventually let you kiss the pout off of her face
when you do invite her to play super mario bros with you....it turns into a shit show
she plays as princess peach but doesn't know how to use the controller at All.
haley will just spam random buttons until she dies - every five seconds.
then she just forces you to carry her while you speed through the level
when she runs out of lives she throws the controller to the side and crosses her arms
"...abigail might be better at these stupid games but im still prettier right...?"
you can hear the mixture of jealousy and insecurity in her tone
she may not be as good as abigail at winning but shes great company, and you tell her that
haley will request cuddles on the bed or at the beach while you read to her
she'll fall asleep in your arms and you make sure to snap a picture on her polaroid camera
you have a cork board in your room with different pictures of characters and signed autographs but you also pin up polaroids of haley and pictures from dates you two have been on
one of your favorites is when she was covered in mud after posing with the cow
overall your interests dont really affect your relationship but she does favor the pet name, "nerd"
(if anyone else calls you that she'll molly whop them)

It was the usual time, on that particular night when you stepped onto the veranda and felt a wave of the warm spring air wash over you, that you saw Sebastian sitting on the edge of the patio, one leg hanging off the side as he leaned on his other knee tucked close to his chest. You could already guess why from the small white stick clutched in his hand and the small rectangular box sitting beside him. His head swivelled to greet you, nodding briefly at you with the look of someone caught off guard.
“Hey.”
He turned back to looking out across the rolling fields of crops and sleepy barns full of assortments of animals, something clearly playing on his mind he didn’t care to toss into the air. He liked to come out here to think, and have a smoke, occasionally.
You took a seat beside him, and raised your eyebrows in surprise as the writing on the package beside him became clearer with proximity.
“Yeah, candy cigarettes. It’s not much but I guess it’s something.” He smiled at you, placing the end of one between his lips idly like a real cigarette. A cruelly sweet idea popped into your head.
Unable to resist the chance to playfully scare him you leaned all the way in towards him, your hand sweeping up to take a hold of his chin and turn his face back towards you. The candy cigarette went limp between his limps as he flushed, looking back at you with a startled, flustered expression as you leaned in close…
And with a *crunch* you stole the end of his candy treat, moving back with a wicked smirk as you did so. His eyebrows knit together in cute yet annoyed confusion as he huffed, his blush going tomato red from the way your shoulders shook with the chuckle you were holding back.
“You’re sleeping on the couch for that.”

With an overexcited grin you proudly thrust your prize in front of Elliot’s face, showing off a shiny new lollipop you’d won at The Valley fair earlier. It was far too large and bright red, like every stereotypical lollipop ever. There was a bow neatly tied around the top of the stick and a little piece of card attached to a string on it, reading in scrawled lettering;
*’To: Elliot’*
Despite the unorthodox manner in which you presented your gift to him, he took your offering graciously, and couldn’t stop the smile that fought its way to his face as he thanked you for the gift.
“I won this for you at the fair! I hope you like it, try it now!!”
“Well I suppose I could take a break from my writing desk for today. Better than staring at an empty page all day!”
With your pressuring and the tempting state of the lollipop Elliot smiled cheerfully and began removing the wrapper in a careful manner, taking care not to drop the wrapper on the ground. It was only when the plastic wrapping had been fully removed did you realise the consequences of your actions, as with a sparkle in his eye, Elliot began licking and sucking at the lolly with an agonising manner. Taking care to taste every bit of it as he lowered it down to the base of his tongue in the way one might hypothetically place something larger inside you were only too aware of the blush creeping across your face.
With a pop, Elliot pulled the treat from his mouth, brushing his long hair out of the way as he looked at you, struggling to keep a smirk off of his face as you steamed.
“Oh my dear, is something the matter?”

“Haley, look!”
Haley’s attention drifted from the lip gloss she was applying with the help of her compact mirror towards your grinning face. You were showing her something, a set of beads on a string around your neck. Upon further inspection as she looked closer, she could see it was one of those candy necklaces that little kids would wear years ago. She could recall wearing layers of them as a kid like they were fine jewellery, or at least until her sister Emily devoured them.
Refocusing back on your face, she could faintly hear you talking about some menial tasks you did that day, planted some new vegetables and milked some cows or whatever it is farmers do. She knew she should be paying more attention but she was distracted by a wonderful idea that popped into her head out of nowhere.
“…-And then I had to go see Marnie about this chicken of hers because- Haley? What are you doing?” You were pulled from your spiel by the sight of Haley’s eyes continuing to rest on your neck distractingly. “Oh yeah, if you want to try them I have some extra-“
She moved faster than you expected, placing her lips against your throat without warning. Your hands went to her shoulders on instinct, pressing back on them as you felt her nip at your skin, smearing lip gloss as she went. A shiver went up your spine as she licked and bit at your neck, letting out a sigh.
“Mmmm~ so sweet~!”
Moving away without any recognition of what she’d just done she pulled out her mirror again to reapply her lip gloss, crumbled bits of necklace still sitting on her lower lip. “You can continue going on about your chickens, or whatever-“

“Warm in the cold” { Haley x g/n reader }
Tumblr media
I know there are many different opinions about Haley but I honestly really like her , especially her character development : I love the way she becomes a better person the more the player gets close to her , so I eventually felt inspired to write something for her :D
As always I apologize for possible ooc moments , and if someone already wrote about something similar know it’s not my intention to copy anyone !
🍃 Warnings 🍃 : none , this is just pure fluff featuring Haley keeping company to the Farmer on a winter day … oh by the way , in this story they’ve been married for a few years :) ❤️
❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ .
(Y/n) took a deep breath , staring at the snowflakes dancing in the cold winter breeze :
they had decided to spend the day fishing at the Cindersap Forest just below the Farm , however after spending so many hours out there they were starting to feel tired , a bit sleepy even , and the calming silence of the woods , interrupted only by the sound of the river’s water , didn’t help much .
The Farmer shook their head , trying to stay focused , but right when they were about to use the fishing pole to catch one more fish they heard a familiar voice behind them …
“There you are honey , I was wondering where you went !”
(Y/n) turned around to see Haley with two cups of hot chocolate in her hand , her long blonde hair fluttering in the wind . They knew how much she couldn’t stand the cold , and the fact that she decided to walk all the way there just to see them made them smile …
“Hi sweetie , sorry , I was just finishing some work and ended up staying here longer than expected …
How has your day been ? I remember you told me you wanted to spend some time with Emily today .”
, they replied while putting away the fishing pole .
“Oh that’s right , Em wanted to show me some new outfit ideas she had during the week , she even offered me to help her sew a dress , it was fun !”
While enthusiastically explaining all that she and her sister had done Haley stepped forward , handing one of the warm cups to (y/n) who gladly accepted the offer .
They looked at their wife with a loving smile , listening to her every word while occasionally taking little sips of hot chocolate …
The first time they had arrived in Pelican Town (y/n) and Haley didn’t exactly get along right away , given just how different they were from each other : actually Haley considered them to be quite a strange individual , and she just couldn’t help but wonder how could they possibly enjoy working on a boring farm all day .
But the more time she spent with them the more fascinated she was by them , and whenever she saw (y/n) walking towards her with a gift meant just for her Haley could feel her heart beating faster and an inexplicable joy that made her long to be by their side . Now that two years had passed and they were happily married , the love they felt for each other had only continued to grow more and more as the days went by …
When she finished talking Haley shivered , looking at the now almost completely dark sky .
“God , it’s so cold out here at this hour … maybe we should go home .”
(Y/n) nodded in agreement , and before their wife could say anything they gently picked her up and started walking on the path while holding her in their arms , the snowflakes still falling down all around them .
“Wh - (y/n) ?”
, Haley exclaimed , surprised by the sudden gesture .
“I have to keep you warm Haley , can’t risk to have you get sick because you chose to come see me … it’s really the least I could do for my sweetheart .”
As they leaned forward to kiss her forehead Haley let out a giggle , a little blush appearing on her cheeks …
“You’re always so corny …”
She sighed , not even feeling cold anymore as she stared into her partner’s beautiful eyes …
“… I really love that about you .”
❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ . ❄️ .
Thank you so much for reading this little story until the end ! :D
Feel free to leave some feedback if you want :) ❤️
( btw I don’t think hot chocolate is even an existing item in-game , but since it’s my favorite winter beverage I wanted to insert it somewhere ;c;👍 )

“Haley, I would really prefer if you were back home, where it’s safe.” I insisted. As much as I enjoyed my wife’s company in the mines, I’d never brought her past level forty, and we were currently on level forty-four. I was wary enough going this deep into the mine system on my own. Bringing Haley with me would be a whole other battle.
Usually, I brought her along with me when I needed to grab basic materials like stone, coal, or copper for the farm. I would gather these while fighting off monsters, and Haley would hold torches in the darker areas of the mines, sometimes wielding a slingshot when things got a little hairy.
This time, Clint asked me to gather some iron for his tool upgrade service. I obliged, and Haley was more than eager to insist on coming with me. Being the pushover that I was when it came to making my wife happy, I reluctantly agreed.
I donned black overalls over a long-sleeve red sweater, with thick brown boots. Haley wore a long-sleeve light blue sweater with her favorite pink skirt over a pair of light blue leggings, with some pink sneakers.
With our outfits picked out, and our spelunking gear gathered, we headed into the mines by Robin’s house, and It was only by sheer luck that we hadn’t run into anything intense yet.
She spoke up as we approached the ladder down to the next level, “Don’t worry about me, honey. I want to help you. Besides, it’s like an adventure!” She squealed on the last sentence, clearly excited.
Once we made it down the ladder, I felt a small wave of relief at the sight of the elevator, accompanied by its usual light-hearted ding, as if it was happy to see me, too.
Haley skipped ahead, “How much iron did Clint ask for, anyways? Do you think he needs a lot?”
I paused to check my backpack. Clint asked for five iron bars. So far, we only had enough iron to make three.
I sighed to myself and responded, “Just a little more. We shouldn’t be too much longer.”
We advanced deeper into the cavern. The air was still and dank, untouched by the crisp winds above surface level. I would have considered this place serene, had these walls not housed some of the deadliest monsters in Pelican Town.
“AH!” Haley’s scream snapped me out of my thoughts. I realized that I fell behind as we walked, and I rushed over to where Haley fumbled for her slingshot, nervously shuffling away from a small green slime.
I chuckled, my heart slowing back to a normal pace as I drew my sword and slayed it in one slash. Me and Haley then both jumped back to avoid the resulting splash of green slime.
“Yuck.” Haley stared down at the slime spattered against the floor, “That was a close one…”
“You’re telling me.” I sheathed my sword before approaching her and placing my hands on her shoulders, “I assume this means you’re okay, then?”
Haley smiled at me, “Yes, honey. I’m okay. I promise.” She leaned forward until our foreheads touched.
I closed my eyes and sighed, “If you say so… but I’d still like to take you home.”
I felt her arms snake their way around my waist, “Don’t worry about me. Please.”
My eyes fluttered open and I could see that hers were still closed, like she was waiting for something. She was waiting for me.
I traced my thumb along her jaw, feeling her shudder under my touch, “Haley…” I breathed.
Suddenly, a wispy blue fog slowly rolled in to cloud the air around us, and I heard a distant squeaking. Damnit!
Haley felt me freeze and her eyes flew open, “What’s going on? Are you- AHHHHHH! BEHIND YOU!” We jumped apart and I turned to see a swarm of bats flying straight toward us, the squeaking sounds growing in volume as they neared us.
I turned back to Haley and grabbed her shoulders, slightly shaking her to emphasize my next command, “Haley. Elevator. Now. Go!”
She quickly nodded and I let go of her so we could run to the elevator. I instantly regretted my choice of shoes. Though my boots were great for crossing rocky terrain, they were also heavy and slowed me down significantly. Haley, who made the smarter choice of a light pair of sneakers, sped ahead.
I looked over my shoulder to see the swarm gaining on me. Damnit! When I turned to look back ahead, I saw Haley reach the elevator and turn back to me, fear etched into her features as she saw that I still had ground to cover. I knew then that if she waited until I made it into the elevator to close the door, we’d be stuck with a bat-filled ride to the surface. That would have been less than ideal. I had one idea left to keep her completely safe.
“Close the door!” I shouted as I slowed to a walk.
“What?!” Haley went pale in the face, “Are you crazy?!”
“Just close it!” I repeated.
Haley shifted with discomfort, “But-”
“CLOSE IT!” I roared. I never really liked yelling at her, but this was really important. I had to get her to listen.
Haley jumped at my shout, looking a little sad before finally obliging and closing the elevator door. It was all up to me now.
I quickly turned and unsheathed my sword, ready to take on the giant ominous swarm that approached me. Here goes nothing.
I flicked my sword in a quick circle before swiping at the mob in front of me. Three bats drew back and squeaked in pain. The rest of the swarm approached me, some coming at me from the side. I quickly dodged backward before lunging at the mob in front of me. I nailed two more bats before one of them snuck behind me and bit my arm.
I let out a yelp, more out of frustration than pain, and smacked it away with my hand, stomping it into the ground when it fell. Those few seconds were all the swarm needed to distract me before they saw an opportunity to swoop in and strike.
Three bats bit and clawed at my other arm, the one I was holding my sword with. I dropped it in surprise, giving three more an opportunity to attack my left side.
All I saw was a blur of black, accompanied by the occasional pair of red eyes. One scratched my cheek. Several bit my legs. I groaned and fell to the floor, unaware of how bad my injuries were or how much I was bleeding out.
The bites were so deep, I felt a jolt of pain blast through my body with each one. As the bats grew bolder, the bites and scratches grew more frequent.
I desperately looked at my sword, lying tantalizingly close to me, yet too far to be of any actual use to me. I strained against the bats to reach for it, only to receive more bites and scratches on my outstretched hand.
Tears sprung to my eyes as the stinging sensations continued to grow in intensity. I began to feel dizzy, almost unable to focus on anything. The squeaks were deafening in my ears. I struggled through blurry vision as the black blobs continued to bite and scratch me.
“Come on.” I softly coaxed myself as I began dragging myself toward my sword. The bats must have sensed my newfound determination, because their bites and scratches began assailing me with more speed than ever before.
I gritted my teeth against the pain and kept pushing myself, moving closer to my sword. I was finally able to grab the handle, and I picked up my sword to turn it against the attacking swarm.
I slashed against the swarm, scaring them back long enough to be able to rise unsteadily to my feet. Once I somewhat gained my footing, I continued attacking the bats, and they began dropping like flies. Some kept trying to sneak up on me from behind, but I saw them and was able to turn and slash them each time.
Finally, I defeated the last bat, and I sat in the newfound silence of the cavernous room around me. The fog rolled away, leaving me in the middle of the carnage I created. After fighting what felt like a million bats, only about eight corpses lay around me.
I hissed at the sudden jolt of pain in my body and looked down. My outfit had numerous tears all over it, decorated in between tears with blood and dirt, and I was actively bleeding from places that I often overlooked on normal days. My head swam, and I fell to my knees before crawling toward the elevator, still dizzy from battle.
“Haley…” I groaned, “Haley… It’s safe now.”
The door opened and I heard her audibly gasp, “Oh my Yoba! What happened?!” She helped me into the elevator, an action that ignited the pain all over me again. I couldn’t help but let out a loud groan, “We have to get you to Harvey.”
I leaned my head against the cool wall of the elevator as she pressed the level zero button, “It’s late. He’s closed…”
“Trust me.” Haley insisted as the doors closed, “I think he’ll take this emergency call.” The elevator began to move and she crouched over me, “Where does it hurt?”
I looked into her eyes, willing myself not to drown in the ocean blue as I groaned, “Everywhere…”
The sad look returned to her eyes, “This looks really bad. I don’t think I can walk you to the hospital like this.”
I raised my hand and cupped it against her cheek, “Haley…”
She held my hand and I winced as a stinging sensation came alive in it. I then watched as Haley slid my backpack off my shoulders and dug inside.
“A-ha!” She pulled out a roll of gauze and got to work on my overalls, quickly dropping them around my hips before raising my shirt over my arms. Her resulting gasp bounced around in the small elevator.
I looked down to see that I looked a lot worse off underneath my clothes. My bra somehow remained intact, but blood oozed out of all the bite and scratch marks that covered me. I shuddered as the cold air brushed against my skin. It almost relieved the pain. Almost.
“Hold still.” Haley began wrapping my arm in gauze, “Hopefully, this should slow your bleeding until we can get to Harvey.” She shifted to begin wrapping my torso before adding, “I think I saw this in one of those doctor shows, once.”
I chuckled at this before wincing at the motion. All I could do painlessly was watch as my wife poured over me, focus knitting her brows. Damn! She looks sexy when she’s focused.
I accidentally let part of my idea slip out of my mouth, so Haley heard, “Mmn…Sexy…”
She looked at me and raised her eyebrows, “Oh, Yoba! You’re delirious already?!” I wasn’t really concerned. I just wanted her to kiss me… Maybe I was delirious.
She finished wrapping my torso and other arm before helping me back into my clothes, “Sorry! There isn’t enough to do your legs.”
“Sssfine…” I mumbled.
She then helped me to my feet and wrapped my arm around her shoulders, and we stepped out of the elevator as soon as the doors opened.
I leaned against Haley’s body, trying, with extreme difficulty, to keep most of my weight off of her as we left the mines. The sky was dark, but little stars in the sky lit our way through the darkness. All was quiet. All was calm. It was nice.
As we walked, I caught a whiff of something and turned towards Haley to take a deeper sniff. Somehow, the scent of her shampoo survived our trip into the depths.
“Strawberries and cream…” I sighed into her hair.
“I know it’s your favorite shampoo of mine.” She softly giggled as we passed Robin’s house.
A beat of silence passed as we approached the community center. Haley sighed, “I was so worried in there.”
“Hmm?” I stumbled before Haley quickly caught me and we kept moving. My legs hurt so badly. It felt like they were getting pricked and stabbed over and over. I just hoped we were close to the hospital.
“You were defending me while I just stood around doing nothing.” She frowned, “Just shows how useless I am.” I squinted as the darkness and my dizziness worked against my eyes, threatening to hide my wife’s face from me.
We were nearing Pierre’s general store as I tried to reassure her, “No… You’re not…”
We finally made it to the door of the hospital and Haley knocked harshly on the door, “Don’t worry about that now. We’re here.”
I let out a deep sigh, frustrated that my body was giving out, unable to keep up with my mind. It was a miracle I didn’t pass out already, but that wasn’t enough for me. After a heartbeat of silence, Haley knocked again.
“Harvey!” She called, “Harvey! Please, come out!” She knocked again, “Harvey, please!”
I wanted to be able to hold her and reassure her that everything was alright. That I would be fine and that she was the exact opposite of useless. That I appreciated her trying new things with me, helping me on the farm, and even joining me in the mines. I wanted to say that I loved her so much that the idea of not having her around could drive me crazy.
But all I could do was watch as the hospital door slowly cracked open and the edges of my vision slowly went black, “Haley? OH MY YOBA!!!” Harvey’s face contorted with pure shock and horror once his eyes landed on me, “What happened to you two?!”
“I’m fine!” Haley responded, “It’s her! She needs help.” Every voice began to sound like I was listening to it from underwater.
Harvey opened the door and beckoned us inside, “Come in! Let me help.”
The black at the edges of my vision slowly rolled in, and my body began to feel heavy.
“Alm.. th… ay?” Haley said something that was really difficult to hear, “...d on… St’a… ttl… thr…”
All I could do was softly sigh before everything went black.
━━━━ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ━━━━
When I came to, I found myself on one of the hospital beds. Haley sat next to me, holding my hand. It was bandaged up, along with the rest of my body. Other than the bandages, the only thing covering me was a lightweight blanket.
“You’re awake!” Haley teared up, “I’m so happy!”
“What happened?” I didn’t think I had the strength to bring my voice above a mumble, yet.
“Harvey had to do a blood transfusion.” She brought her other hand to hold mine in both of hers, “But he was struggling to find a match for you.”
A match? Someone in Pelican Town had the same blood type as me? My mind raced, “Who was it?”
“He’s in the other room.” She was dodging the question.
“Haley.” I tried to bring her back on track.
“Harvey’s giving him some cookies and juice to get his energy back up.” Clearly, that didn’t work.
“Haley…” I tried again.
“And Harvey says you should be up and running again in as little as a few days. Isn’t that great?” Damn! She’s persistent.
“Haley, please! Answer the question. Who was my match?”
Haley sighed, “Okay, okay… You matched with Alex.”
WHAT?! I refused to believe it. There was no way Alex would help me. Last time I checked, we didn’t particularly like each other.
“I know it’s hard to believe,” Haley started, “But he’s a good person.”
“Color me surprised.” I dryly remarked.
“Forget that,” She dismissed, “Though I expect you to thank him later.”
“I will.” I sighed.
Haley just chuckled to herself, “I know you will. You’re very kind.” I smirked at her before she continued, “You’re very kind to me, at least.” She brushed some of my hair away from my face, “What did I do to deserve you?”
“Haley,” I started, “Don’t say that.”
“It’s true!” She frowned, “You got hurt really badly, just for me.”
“I couldn’t bear to live in a world where I let you get hurt.” I pulled her hands up to my face to give them an affectionate kiss, “You mean the world to me, Lee. Remember that.”
“How?” Haley sniffled, tears collecting in her eyes again, “All I’m good for is taking stupid pictures, reading magazines, and going shopping. I’m useless! No, now I’m worse than useless. I’m a burden! How could you love someone like me? How could you risk getting hurt this badly for me? I try helping out in the mines to make myself useful, but look at what I did.” Her tears began spilling over her cheeks, “This is all my fault.”
I decided to take this moment to sit up. I groaned at the pain of the movement, but it wasn’t bad enough to keep me down, “Haley,” I framed her face with my hands, “None of this is your fault. You are precious to me. That’s why I wanted to protect you. By the way, your photos are beautiful. They’re works of art. It’s a wonder they aren’t in one of those magazines you like reading.” She sadly smiled, and I wiped away another tear with my thumb before continuing, “And I would take you shopping an infinite amount of times if it meant getting to see that little sparkle of joy in your eyes when I get you a cute new skirt. You don’t have to earn my love, Lee. You had it from the moment I laid eyes on you.”
I pulled her in and kissed her on the cheek before resting my face in the crook of her neck, “You are not a burden. You’re the love of my life. You’re my highest privilege.”
I felt her wrap her arms around me, and it barely hurt when she did, “You really mean that?”
“I do.” I kissed her again, before trailing rapid kisses around her face and neck, breathing in between each one, “I do. I do. I do. I do…”
She softly giggled, “I love you.”
I broke my streak of kisses to look her in her eyes, “I love you, too, Lee. I love you so much.” I kissed her forehead, “The moment I make you believe otherwise is the moment I’ve failed as your wife.”
“Impossible.” She smiled, “You’re the best wife in the world.”
“Thank you,” I smirked, “But I think my wife is a lot cooler than yours.”
A light pink dusted her cheeks as she giggled, “Maybe we can settle for a tie?”
“Maybe.” I held Haley to my chest and we both sighed in content and comfort, “Maybe…”

Maybe Haley was a bit mean when you first introduced yourself to her. But honestly, what did you expect? You were covered in dirt and mud, smelt like you crawled right out of the earth trapped beneath your nails. She thinks at first glance, from how little you seemed to care about your clothes that neither of you are going to get along. Which is why she doesn’t bother being nice, but despite it all you still hand her a daffodil. She’s grateful. But it doesn’t change anything.
Then about a day later you bring her another one, asking her about her day. You’re just as dirt covered as the first meeting, and just as unfazed when she’s about as pleasant as she was prior. You’re weird. She thinks, thanking you again and heading in the opposite direction. And she thinks it again as she stares at the two daffodils she’s placed in a vase on her dresser.
“Looks like you might have an admirer!” Emily had commented on the two additions, and it made Haley roll her eyes.
“No it’s from that new farmer, they’re an absolute weirdo who looks like they roll in the dirt.”
“Harsh.” Yes maybe it was. But it was the truth. And she sticks to that concept of you, even during the rest of the week where you go out of your way to greet her on the way past. The week comes to the end, the daffodils in the vase start to wilt and so she throws them out. Much to Emily’s dismay, claiming Haley could have pressed the flowers or at least kept them longer. She’s ignored.
Haley’s going about her day, when she hears your voice. Another daffodil in hand. She wonders if you ever considered what she did with the ones you gave her, taking the gift from you regardless. With a wave, you’re going off in the other direction, when you’re out of her line of sight she asks herself why you keep giving her flowers. She puts the new one in the vase, replacing the old ones.
She doesn’t see you again until her birthday, she thinks it’s going to be another daffodil. But you’re handing her fresh made fruit salad instead. “I heard it was your birthday today, happy birthday!” You appear to be as happy to give her the gift as she is to receive it. And she’s so overjoyed by the present that she doesn’t even notice that you’d done something different with your hair today, or that you don’t nearly have as much dirt all over you.
The week after is same as normal, well the new normal. She’ll be going about her day, and you’ll present her with a daffodil. When you do it for the second time that week she decides to ask you why you keep giving her flowers, only for you to grin at her.
“Pretty flowers for a pretty lady.” She rolls her eyes, openly calling you a weirdo, but she’s smiling and so are you.
Then the Flower Dance arrives. And she thinks it’ll be funny that if you show up it will probably be looking like an absolute mess. She doesn’t even consider that you’d be wearing the formal outfit... or that you’d clean up so nicely.
She’s practicing meticulously, when she catches someone walking up to her in the corner of her eye. She doesn’t recognise you first glance, but second glance it dawns on her that it is in fact you. She stops, not because you were coming in her direction but because she forgot her steps as she was looking at you. She’s even more surprised when you do walk up to her, and ask her to dance.
“Do you want to dance with me?” The time she takes mulling over her answer is brief, because she can’t think of a reason to say no. It’s as she’s dancing with you, noting your smiling face as you complement her movements, that a small thought passes through her mind.
Maybe she likes weird.

You’ve Got Something On Your Nose (Haley x Reader)
Tumblr media
A visit to your farm gives Haley a lot more than she bargins for, including a whole lot of flowers and a whole lot of dirt.
A bead of sweat running down your face was the first thing Haley noticed when she stepped foot on your farm, her eyes widening when she saw you burying your garden hoe in a patch of untilled dirt, your muscles flexing.
“Hey.” You smiled, your teeth a bright white compared to your skin, which was not only bronzed by the sunlight, but the dirt covering it.
Your brows furrow, your hands overlapping one another as you balance them on the handle of your garden hoe, your chin resting on top of them.
“What’s wrong?” You ask, your brows knitting in confusion when the blonde just stares at you, her blue orbs shimmering.
“Is there something on my face?” You ask, swiping at your nose, grimacing when you get the dirt on your hands on your face.
You lift your shirt up, using the dirt-free underside to wipe the grime off your face.
Haley's cheeks flush when she sees what was hidden beneath the once white material, your prominent abdominal muscles on full display.
“Did I get it?” You ask, clueless to the fact that she’d been ogling you.
As if in a trance, she wordlessly makes her way towards you, avoiding the dirt as she stops in front of you.
Your eyes widen as she delicately cups your cheek, her thumb caressing your sun-kissed skin.
“Haley…?”
Your brows furrow, your nose crinkling as she brushes the tip of it with her thumb, effectively ridding you of the dirt which had been covering your nose.
Luckily for you, your bronzed and dirt covered skin masks the blush on your cheeks, a grin stretching across your face as you rub the back of your neck nervously.
“Uhh, thanks.” You grin, the woman unable to bite back a smile.
It’s then that a ray of sun shines down onto her, her blonde hair bright, and blue dress shining in the sunlight, your heart skipping a beat.
You snap your fingers, realization dawning on your face.
“I forgot to show you.” You smile, Haley’s brows furrowing.
“Show me what?” She asks, confused and you smile, attempting clear your hand of dirt before taking her hand, covering it in the fresh dirt covering your palm.
Haley blushes, the woman allowing you to pull her along, across your crop filled fields.
You come to a stop, turning to Haley with a grin as you motion to the field of flowers in front of you, the blonde’s eyes glassy as she steps towards it.
Bright yellow flowers stand tall and proud, literal dozens of them, a pleased smile on your face as you watch the blonde make her way towards the flowers.
You watch delightfully as the woman spins among the flowers gleefully, the blonde giggling wildly.
You brush your nose, again covering it in dirt before crossing your arms across your chest, attempting to stave off a grin when Haley turns to you, the blonde slowly making her way towards you.
Her blue orbs sparkle as she comes to a stop in front of you, her eyes searching your face intently.
“You did this for me?” She whispers and you smile, pearly white teeth on display.
“Of course I did, I know how much you love Sunflowers, and I just thought you’d-
You stiffen, your breath hitching in your throat when Haley cups your cheeks, the woman, with no sense of hesitation, surging forwards, her lips meeting yours in a tender kiss.
Your eyes flutter shut, your hands finding purchase on her waist, the fabric of her blue dress bunched up in your fists as you kiss.
Haley tilts her head, changing the angle of the kiss, your heart hammering in your chest as your lips meet again and again, the butterflies in your stomach and chest going absolutely wild.
When your lips part, Haley leans back in, her forehead resting against your own, the tip of her nose brushing your own.
It’s when your eyes flutter open, that laughter bubbles up in your chest, the blonde’s brows furrowing.
“What?” She asks, and you giggle.
“Your nose.” You grin, Haley’s eyes crossing as she attempts to look at her nose.
You lift your shirt, again using the underside to clear Haley’s nose of dirt her nose crinkling as you give it a brush.
“There you go.” You beam, Haley’s tongue licking her lips.
She’s unable to bite back a smile, when she leans back in, purposely brushing her nose against yours again covering her tan skin in dirt as her lips again meet yours.
She pulls back.
“What do you say we pick some flowers?” You ask, your thumbs caressing her waist.
Haley grabs your dirt covered had, the woman dragging you towards the field of Sunflowers.
“I would love nothing more.”

If anyone told Haley she'd grown fond of you at the beginning of the year, she'd probably laugh at their faces.
It's weird.
How you become a constant presence in her life right now that it would be weird not to see you even once a day.
It had been apparently a routine for you, and unfortunately (fortunate) for her, that you'd drop by the 2 Willow Lane every morning as long as it's beyond 8am to have breakfast with them.
Emily is more than willing to accommodate you, saying along the lines "Haley's a little calmer when you're around, Y/n/n."
Ridiculous.
Of course Haley had to be on her best behavior. You didn't need to see her and Emily squabble for the second time around. That would be embarrassing.
Well... that's what she likes to think. What she allows herself to think.
Because why else would you even stick around with someone as mean as her and give her all these gifts?
And why the hell is Haley even putting up with this?
She'd like to think it's because you want to get something from her. Let's say an ulterior motive.
But deep down she knows it's simply because you're just nice.
At first, you looked like you're trying a little too hard to be liked by everyone else. Why else would you give almost everyone gifts instead of actually selling them and make profit? It just doesn't make sense.
But the moment Haley experienced your kindness firsthand, she knew to herself that there's really no other ulterior motive behind all the easy smiles and gifts you were giving Haley.
So, even though she tried not to like it, she found herself actively looking for your presence.
Luckily for her, it just so happens the farmer also have the knack to be in the right place at the right time.
Surprisingly this time, Haley doesn't seem to mind.
Spring 17
This damn thing.
Haley let out an exasperated sigh as she stared at the stubborn jar in front of her, glaring it with such hatred she hoped it might open itself from the pressure. Her hands were already starting to hurt from trying to twist the lid open.
Can't she have a break? She just wants to cook breakfast today since Emily's out and all, and Haley can finally show you some of her cooking skills at home.
Yeah, sure she can be absolutely lazy with household chores but cooking is actually something she loved to do.
"Come on, just open already!" she exclaimed through gritted teeth.
Haley tried to use all her strength to open the jar, letting out a loud grunt as she felt her palms tingle with pain. But no matter how hard she tried, the stupid lid just wouldn't budge.
She was so busy trying to open the damn thing that she didn't noticed your presence behind her with an amused grin plastered all over your face, clearly finding humor at her antics.
"You need some help?" you voiced out behind her.
"Ugh," a flash of surprise flickered on her eyes when she turned around and locked her eyes with you before her face morphed into a mock scowl. "How does it feel seeing me in pain?"
You chuckled at her exaggeration. "Aw, does the baby needs help?"
"Hmp." She squinted her eyes at that. "I was about to cook breakfast for us but now I don't feel like doing it."
She crossed her arms in mock anger for good measure.
How dare she calls her baby? And for the wrong reasons, too!
The nerve!
"Alright, alright, miss sassy pants. Come here," Haley's frustration quickly turned into surprise as she felt you tugged her by the loop of her belt, pulling her close to your body. The heat that radiates from your skin ignites a fire in Haley's belly.
You reached over and snatched the jar out of Haley's grip, flicking it open with a simple twist of your wrist. You then swiftly returned it to Haley's hand and gave her a look that could only be described as smug.
"Piece of cake," you bragged with a grin.
Haley cleared her throat, masking her embarrassment as she playfully shoved you away. "Hmp. You're stronger than you look."
You narrowed your eyes at her, and Haley caught a mischievous glint in your gaze.
"What do you mean, 'stronger than I look'?" you retorted, a hint of challenge dripping in your voice. "I've got a few tricks up my sleeve, you know?"
"Oh, really now?"
As if to prove your point, you rolled up your sleeves up to your shoulders, flexing your muscles just long enough for Haley to appreciate how farm works definitely did wonders to your physiques, not that you weren't already toned before, but you're definitely becoming a little buffer.
Those farmer clothes just hid them all this time.
Haley's mouth went dry. "Y-yeah, yeah, show off."
It's amazing how Haley still manage to act like this when a simple act of flexing had her gotten her hot and bothered.
She's never been one to swoon over muscles before (Alex's muscle only made her gag most of the time), but there's something about the way you look right now that has her feeling all kinds of things.
She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts of any impure ideas.
She didn't want to give you the satisfaction of stroking your already growing ego. Haley' sure that you are well aware of your effect on her, and if she let it show, you would only be so smug about it.
Sometimes, Haley regrets letting you be friends with Alex. Clearly, he's rubbing off you already.
"I wonder how many other ladies have been lucky enough to see that impressive display."
"How many are you?" you readily quipped.
Haley suddenly choked on her own spit as heat rose to her cheeks at your sudden boldness. (What the hell? What the what?)
"I'm gonna hit you," Haley threatened half-heartedly as she tried to regain her composure (and dignity.)
She has to make this stop or else everything will be too much for her. Which was a frequent occurrence nowadays when you're near her.
"Okay, okay!" you barked out a laugh, seemingly oblivious to your effect on Haley, much to her relief. "I'll help you cook, alright?"
"Fine. But you're going to boil the pasta. You suck at making the sauce."
"Yeah, yeah, M'lady. Let's do it your way."
Yeah, you definitely had the knack to be in the right place at the right time.
And probably say the right things at the least opportune time.
Does Haley mind?
Definitely not.
Spring 20
The Flower Festival is in four days, and Haley will be damned if she'd be anything but flawless.
Currently lounging on her couch, Haley was draped in a flimsy white towel, the only piece of cloth covering her body besides the face mask she had just applied, and a soft towel wrapped around her hair to soak up some excess water.
She had already finished exfoliating her body, scrubbing away all the stresses and strains of the past few days. Of course, she can't forget moisturizing, too. Despite her naturally flawless skin, it took loads of branded lotions, scrubs and moisturizers (so worth the money) to keep it this perfect.
In short, it's her pampering day.
Haley was a true believer in the power of self-care, and she spared no expense in ensuring that every inch of her body was pampered to perfection.
And she can't afford to be stressed today.
Surprisingly, the day went by without a hitch.
Emily's usual nagging was nothing more than a minor annoyance that she brushed off without a second thought. And Alex, bless his heart, had the good sense to steer clear the moment he laid eyes on her with her bag of beauty essentials in tow.
He's also been kind enough to pass the message to you. Saying he'll just ask you to play ball with him or whatever to keep you busy earlier that morning.
Nothing, she repeats, nothing could ruin this nigh—
Her phone ringing was absolutely the least she expected to hear.
She was tempted to not answer, assuming it will be Emily on the other line. She doesn't call often during her shift, but if she does, she would occasionally ask Haley to bring either her apron or her shoes.
So, Haley's a little bit apprehensive about answering.
There's no way she's gonna be waltzing around outside just to give Emily her damn apron when she just finished her self-care!
Curiosity got the best of her though. With a deep breath, she swiped the answer button, hesitantly bringing the device to her ear.
"What?" she snapped, a little irritated at the interruption.
"Thank Yoba you answered. I was beginning to think you wouldn't." Emily babbled on the other line.
"Just spit it out, Em."
"Um," Haley can hear her hesitation. "Y/n/n's a little out of it and I kind of need help to get her home."
Haley sat a little bit straight at the mention of your name. "What do you mean she's out of it?"
"She's drunk."
For the love of Yoba—
What the hell are you thinking getting your ass drunk like that?
"Hay, are you still there?"
Haley has to literally calm herself down before speaking again. "I'm sorry but I can't. I just finished applying my face mask!"
"I see, I just thought since you're close with her and all..." Emily sounded a bit disappointed but didn't pushed it further. "I may just have to ask Penny to get her hom—"
"Be there in 5," was all Haley said before going to her room to get dressed.
She's going to kill you.
****
In no time at all, Haley arrived at the Saloon in her pajamas, hair damped and bare faced and everything.
She saw Emily waiting outside, a visibly worried expression etched on her face. "Where is she?" Haley asked, her tone urgent.
Emily motioned towards the Saloon's door. "She's inside."
Normally, Haley wouldn't be caught alive inside her sister's workplace but that's the least of her concerns right now. "What the hell happened?"
"Since it was Shane's birthday and all. Y/n/n kind of bet with him who could drink the most beer without getting drunk. Safe to say no one won, huh?" Emily had the audacity to sound so sheepish.
Haley nodded absentmindedly and took a deep breath before pushing open the door.
Sure enough, you were there, slumped over the bar with a couple of empty bottle of beer beside her. Shane's there too, but he's unconscious on the floor with Marnie trying her absolute best to wake her nephew up.
Haley wanted to be mad at you. You literally made Haley walked across town with nothing but her pajamas! She also never go out without makeup and especially when she has just finished her skin care!
But what the hell.
Her heart could only flutter at the sight. How can someone be an idiot and cute at the same time?
She strode over to you and placed a hand on your back, careful not to startle you. "Y/n, come on. Let's get you home," she chided softly.
You groaned softly, lifting your head slightly at the sound of her voice, your eyes bloodshot and unfocused. "Hay..? Is that you..?"
"Yeah, it's me," Haley answered, helping you to your feet. She took your arm and wrapped them around her shoulder, while her other arm secured its place on your waist to keep youfrom falling. "Come on, let's go."
Having the inability to stand by yourself, Haley found you leaning almost half of your weight on her.
Yoba, you're quite heavy.
"You smell geurd..." you slurred more.
Haley tried to fight herself from flushing at the comment. It did not help that your face is practically buried at the side of her neck.
"I know," Haley tried to retort. "And you smell like beer." She wrinkled her nose in mock disgust.
On the contrary, you actually smelled like freshly picked lemons and mint apart from the subtle scent of beer. It seemed that you prepared for this occasion and showered accordingly.
Haley briefly nods in approval. You didn't smell as bad as she expected, you weren't even sweaty, too compared to Shane here.
Haley stole a quick glance at him, noting his unruly stubble, tattered hoodie, and unkempt hair.
It was evident he hadn't exactly prioritized cleanliness lately. Haley couldn't help but be grateful that you were the complete opposite. But she decided not to dwell on it. After all, it was Shane's birthday, and he was entitled to be himself, even if it meant being his usual slightly musty, emo self.
"Even in my prime years I wasn't able to drink that much beer!" Pam cackled at the background, catching Haley's attention. She's clearly only tipsy despite the massive number of empty bottles in front of her. "Kids these days, really." She shook her head before turning to Emily. "Kid, can you give me some more mead?"
"Sure, Pam." Emily looks at Haley apologetically. "Sis, can you—"
"I got it. It's okay."
Leah, who had been eyeing them from the table decided to make her way towards them. "Do you need help?" before adding jokingly, "I didn't know Y/n/n was a drinker."
"Well, at least she's a lot calmer than Pam." Gus chimes in. "And a whole lot lesser violent than Shane here." He added as he eyed Shane on the floor with a couple of empty bottles beside him. Marnie is still trying to wake him up.
Haley raised an immaculate brow.
If Leah wanted to help maybe it would have been useful a couple of hours ago if she stopped this dungus from doing a stupid bet. Haley didn't dare say that though, and bit her tongue to stop saying something foul, instead, she opted with a strained, "thanks, but I got this."
"You sur—"
The door of the Saloon swung open once again, and another redhead came straight to them. "What happened?" Penny asked in urgent. She's clad in her pajamas as well and her usually immaculate hair was down, which tells she's also ready for bed. "Mom called that Y/n/n was dru—"
"Kiddo, you're here!" Pam cheered loudly, Gus can only grimace at her antics. "I was just saying here that Y/n definitely won the bet!"
"Mom..." Penny sighed. "You should have stopped her. Y/n has work tomorrow."
"Hmp. It wouldn't hurt to have fun. Let the kid get loose a little. She's already been working hard."
Knowing it's no use to argue with her drunk mom. Penny turned to Haley, giving her a polite smile. "Do you need help taking her home?"
"Yeah!" Leah agreed beside her. "My cabin's near her farm, it would be no problem at all."
Haley tries to mask the sudden annoyance she feels at the women in front of her, and as well as the struggle she's feeling under the weight of the farmer. But she stood her ground stubbornly. She fakes a smile. "I got this."
"Are you s—"
"I got this." She repeated, this time firmly.
****
She definitely did not got this.
You were thoughtful enough to stay still while Haley guided you out of the Saloon. But once they took a turn near 2 Willow Lane, the farmer started wriggling against her grasp.
"W-where... we going..?" you asked, slurring.
"I'm taking you home," Haley replied in between grunts.
What the hell is she even thinking?
She should have accepted Penny's help— hell, even Leah's help would be also appreciated but Haley just didn't like the idea of having those two around you.
Yeah, she knew you're friends with these two girls but Emily called her first, right? Never mind that she declined it first but Haley didn't want to be a bad friend letting you slumped all night long over that greasy bar.
"Yoba, just how many beers did you drink? Surely, you're not that much of a lightweight."
You narrowed your eyes at her, holding up three fingers, "I had 9. Shane I think..." you held out a finger to her chin, "had 7."
Haley couldn't help but snort in amusement. "I'm pretty sure I'm not that dumb to count 3 on your fingers."
"It's 3 times 3."
"Yeah, sure."
"Yeah! And I'm completely sober," you declared, as if your words alone were enough proof. But your actions told a different story, as you stumbled once again, prompting Haley to exclaim, "stay still, you dungus!"  before you manage to free yourself away from Haley's arms. "See?"
"Clearly." Haley answered, her voice dripping with sarcasm as she approached you. You were swaying dangerously and on the verge of collapsing over Marnie's fence.
"Oops—" You flashed a stupid grin as Haley caught you just in time, preventing you from face-planting into one of the feces of Marnie's cows. "Thanks, babe."
Haley almost dropped you at the unexpected endearment.
Her cheeks flushed deeply, and she internally debated whether to abandon you here or let her own remaining shreds of dignity vanish into the night.
She coughed awkwardly, trying to regain her composure. "Wow, you sure are flirty tonight. You sure you're sober?"
"I don't know," You answered truthfully, sounding strangely sober. You came to a halt, causing Haley to stop as well. "The only time I allow myself to be this close to you without my heart pounding in my chest is in the reality I've created in my dreams. So, tell me, Haley..."
Under the moonlight, your eyes held an intensity and softness that seemed almost impossible.
"Am I sober, or is this just a dream?"

Who Are You Again?
Based on the following ask: I had another plot thought! Aaron x BAU Reader (female or gender neutral) where Reader disobeys an order to save a victim and gets hurt really bad. Reader wakes up in the hospital to Aaron who is angry at first but then is shocked when it turns out that Reader has retrograde amnesia from the injury. Reader has forgotten their entire career in the BAU and even that They and Aaron were secretly dating! Last thing Reader actually remembers was attending a lecture in college where Aaron was a guest speaker and Reader developed a crush on him! Now Aaron has to carefully navigate helping Reader recover without outing their relationship to anyone else. Or maybe he wonders if it's better they forget? But for a HEA ending definitely Aaron doing something romantic sparks a memory and helps everything come flooding back. @nyxwolph thank you for requesting again and trusting me with your ideas! – I did have to change things up a bit (I struggled big time with this one)

“In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state.” Essentially, something as small as a butterfly flapping its wings could cause something as catastrophic as a tornado.
Aaron wondered what small event happened that led to this moment right now. A moment that would change the trajectory of your lives forever.
*36 hours earlier*
“Garcia has the unsubs location; he’s headed down a backroad just east of the 95.” Aaron said.
“He’s devolving, he’s probably going to try and dispose of his latest victim.” Morgan chimed in.
“Not if we have anything to do with it.” JJ replied.
“His location is being shared with you all, everyone be safe, at this point he’s going to be willing to do anything to avoid prison.” Hotch added.
“I’m close by, I am going to go try and cut him off.” You suggested.
The team expressed their worry and care and urged you to be careful. The only thing you had on your mind, however, was saving the five-year-old boy this unsub had hidden. You drove as fast as your vehicle would allow, you had to get to the unsub. You had to save that boy.
As you got closer to the location Garcia had shared, you could see the dust trail the unsubs car was leaving down the road. You thought about your options, and you made a snap decision. Drive on, no matter the consequences – take out the unsub’s car. So that’s what you did.
You drove forward and your car t-boned the unsubs, only you hadn’t considered that he’d be driving a semi tractor. Upon impact, your SUV was crushed, in your rush to get to the unsub you’d forgotten to put on your seatbelt and your body was ejected through the windshield.
The accident was enough to stop the unsub long enough for the team to arrive. As they surveyed the scene, Aaron’s stomach dropped. He immediately began barking orders, demanding medics, and sending agents to the unsubs’ farm to find the boy.  Throughout everything he refused to leave your side.
*Present Day*
“Sir, we had to place her in a medically induced coma to allow the swelling in her brain to go down.” The doctor explained.
“Is there an estimate as to how long it’ll be until she wakes up?” Aaron asked.
“With these kinds of injuries, it’s hard to say. The brain is a tricky thing, and no two injuries are alike. We just have to wait and see.”
“Thank you.” Aaron said, shaking the doctor’s hand.
Your doctor made her exit and Aaron moved to the seat beside your bed. He gently took your hand in his own placing a kiss to the back of it before returning it to your side. Aaron had thought back to the night everything changed.
*One year earlier*
“Hey Hotch, here’s that report you asked for. You aren’t staying are you?” You asked, glancing at your watch.
“Thanks, and yeah I had a few things I needed to finish up.”
You made your way over to Aaron’s couch, dropped your bag to the floor, and shrugged your jacket off. You pulled your phone out to see what was still open for delivery in the area. Aaron and you had shared many nights like this, spending late nights together in his office. The two of you had grown very close over the years, so much so that David had outright asked Aaron if you two were dating. To which Aaron let out an awkward chuckle and denied the accusation. If only he knew.
“What are you doing? You should head home.” Aaron said.
“Well, you should too, and you aren’t, so I guess that means we’re ordering dinner.” You smiled at him.
“I love you.” Aaron said simply.
“What?” You were stunned.
“I’m sorry, that was inappropriate. I didn’t – I um….”
“Say it again.”
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
Aaron made his way over to you, gently caressed your face and kissed you. It was everything you had ever imagined. There had been this tension between the two of you over the last two years and it was all finally coming together.
After that night, Aaron and you had agreed to keep your relationship under wraps, to avoid any potential disruption to the team, but also any question as to your position on the team. Aaron didn’t want anyone to question the fact that it was your skills and resume alone that got you to where you are.
Yours and Aaron’s relationship blossomed after that night, but not without hardships. Aaron and you faced a lot of adversity in multiple aspects of your relationship; you had a hard time trusting people, Aaron had been self-conscious of your age gap, and you both couldn’t help but feel that you weren’t good enough for the other (not that either of you would bring it up).
*Present Day*
A tear fell from Aaron’s eye, he couldn’t fathom losing you. This was all part of the reason he didn’t want to get serious with someone after Haley, but then you came into his life. You’d come in and made yourself known with your kind eyes and witty charm; how could he not fall in love with you.
Aaron fell for you slowly then all at once, it came naturally, and he couldn’t help it. He knew that the team had their suspicions and honestly over the last year there had been some close calls, but you had ultimately maintained the secrecy of your relationship.
In this moment, Aaron couldn’t help but feel a pang of guilt and regret over the fact that he’d asked you to keep things quiet. Had he let the team in on your relationship, he could’ve done a better job at keeping you safe.
*2 Weeks Later*
Aaron had been by your side as much as possible over the last two weeks, which is exactly where he was when you started to stir. Aaron shot straight up in his seat, his hand quickly reaching for your own.
You couldn’t help the groan that escaped your throat, your body hurt so bad, and you felt very confused. You attempted to open your eyes but immediately regretted it – the bright fluorescents adding to the pounding in your head. As you blinked through the brightness of the room, you glanced over to your bedside, noticing a tall man seated there.
“What on earth were you thinking? Driving into the unsub like that, you could’ve been killed. Your actions were reckless and unacceptable.” The man scolded you.
You couldn’t find it in you to reply, your head was pounding. You brought your hand up to your forehead and gently press the heel of your palm into it, hoping to alleviate some of the pressure.
“Sweetheart hold on, I’ll go get your doctor.” A deep voice sounded from your bedside.
Before you could question the pet name, you heard the sound of his dress shoes clicking against the linoleum floors.
The man returned with your doctor; he dimmed the lights slightly on his way back to your bedside. He moved to grab your hand again, to which you shifted, wringing your hands nervously in your lap.
“Hello, I’m doctor Raynor. How are you feeling?”
“Like I was hit by a truck, what happened?” You questioned, giving your doctor and the man a once over.
You recognized the man; it was Special Agent Hotchner of the BAU. What was he doing here? What happened?
“Well, you were involved in an accident, can you tell me what you remember?” Dr. Raynor inquired.
“I um, well, I was leaving a lecture.” Your gaze shifted to Agent Hotchner “Your lecture actually, you were talking about MO’s. I guess the accident was after that?” You couldn’t help but notice Agent Hotchner’s expression faulter.
Your doctor looked over at Agent Hotchner and he shook his head. The two of them seemingly knew something you didn’t. You couldn’t help but feel like you’d just given the wrong answer in front of the class. Dr. Raynor had gone through the rest of your injuries with you, multiple lacerations that had required stitches, a few broken ribs, a broken wrist, and of course your TBI. Once she was done she gave you a somber look.
“Would you excuse us for just a moment? I am going to send in one of your nurses to check you over and I’ll be back in just a moment.” Dr. Raynor said.
“Oh, okay.”
Dr. Raynor and Agent Hotchner left your room, and you tried your best to listen to their conversation.
*Hotch’s POV*
She doesn’t remember me, well us. It’s like the last five years have just disappeared.
“Agent Hotchner, I gather that the lecture she’s referring to did not occur two weeks ago when she was brought in.”
“No, that lecture was nearly five years ago.” I explained.
“This would be a case of retrograde amnesia, if she’s lost recent memories.” Dr. Raynor replied.
“Will her memory return?”
“It’s hard to say.”
While Aaron was completely devastated, he couldn’t help the doubt that creeped into his mind, telling him “This is for the best”.
*Normal POV*
Dr. Raynor and Agent Hotchner looked extremely serious, and you started to feel nauseous. Something was obviously wrong. You watched as their conversation ceased and they made their way back into the room.
Something must have happened, why would Agent Hotchner be here.
“Alright, it would appear that due to the brain trauma you sustained in your accident, you are experiencing what we describe as retrograde amnesia. This is when you can’t recall memories from your past. Based on your most recent memory, it appears as if you’ve lost approximately five years.” Dr. Raynor explained.
“Five years? Five years of memories are just gone. I don’t understand. If that’s true then why are you here?” You asked gesturing to Agent Hotchner.
“Well, you work for the BAU. You have for about three years now.”
“I do? I – I, this is a lot. What does this mean? Have you called my emergency contact?” You asked.
“I uh – I am your emergency contact.” Agent Hotchner spoke up.
“What, why? It has always been my mom, I don’t understand.”
“I’m so sorry, your mom, she uh – she passed last year. That’s when you switched it over to me.” Agent Hotchner’s gaze shifted down to his shoes.
“She’s gone?” Your voice cracked.
“Okay, this has been quite a bit of information. The most important thing right now is getting healthy. We want to keep you here a little longer to continue monitoring the swelling in your brain. Once we’ve confirmed it has gone down, you’ll want to get back in your usual routine, that is the best shot at getting your memory back.” Dr. Raynor gently patted your leg.
“How am I meant to get back to my normal routine when I don’t know it? The one person I had, I just found out is dead.”
“Given that Agent Hotchner is your emergency contact, we would be able to release you into his care. For now, we just need to stay positive.” With that, Dr. Raynor made her exit.
“I know this is a lot, but the BAU, we’re like a family, that includes you. Each member of the team is going to be willing to do anything to help you throughout this process.” Agent Hotchner said.
Part of you knew you could trust him; he had kind eyes, and you knew he was genuine. However, the other part of you felt so hopeless, like a lost kid in a department store. How were you meant to go home with this man who you didn’t know.
*Five Days Later*
“Do you have everything?” Aaron asked.
He had been with you every day for the last five days. He had brought you some things from your apartment and asked you to call him Aaron for now while you were “getting to know him”. You had to admit, it had been pretty nice talking with him the last few days.
“I think so!” You looked over at him. “I know that I am meant to be staying with you, at least until I’m fully healed, but could we go to my apartment first? I’d like to see it and maybe go through some of my things?”
“Of course we can.” Aaron nodded, gesturing towards the door.
The drive to your place was filled with small talk, mostly you asking Aaron questions about the BAU and the time you’ve spent there. It felt weird asking the man who is technically your boss about your personal life.
When you arrived, Aaron made sure to open your door for you and carry your bag into your home. He led you inside and you couldn’t help but notice how comfortable he seemed in your place, like he’d been there before. Like he belonged there. You shook the thought from your mind.
“I got you a new phone, it’s all set up for you.” Aaron said handing you the device.
“Thanks! Were they able to back up the old one? I was hoping to go through old texts and pictures to gather some insight into my life. God that sounds weird.” You huffed out a breath.
“I have our technical analyst Penelope Garcia working on that for you.” Aaron informed you.
“That’s great, thank you.”
The truth was, Aaron didn’t have Garcia backing up your old phone, at least not yet. He knew that if he had brought it to her she would uncover all the private texts and photos that you two had shared over the last year. He didn’t want to risk everyone finding out about your relationship, especially now when he wasn’t sure what your future would hold.
Aaron watched you as you made your way around your apartment. You wandered slowly around letting your fingers graze the spines of books on your shelves, picture frames on the walls and tchotchkes that were strewn about your desk and shelves.
He so badly wanted to pull you into his arms, kiss your head and tell you that everything was going to be okay. He wanted you to know that he wasn’t just your boss. But he also thought about all the things that could go wrong if he told you. You could question your own ethics and fall into self-loathing with the thought that you’d potentially slept your way to the top – this was the furthest thing from the truth, but he knew you and the way your mind spiraled. He wondered if it would just be easier if he let you find yourself all on your own, to let this thing between you go and hope that maybe you’d find your way back to him again.
When he looked over to you once again, he saw that you had found a photo album. It was one he was very familiar with; Garcia had gotten it for you on your 1-year BAU anniversary and filled it halfway. Since then, you’d continue to add to it all the photos you’d taken with the team.
You hadn’t realized you were crying until a tear had fallen onto the picture you were currently examining. Your emotions were running high, looking through the album was so strange it felt like looking at a stranger and yet it was you in photo after photo looking happier than ever with these people you couldn’t remember.
You felt the couch dip beside you and Aaron gently rubbed his hand up and down your back.
“I can’t imagine how overwhelming this all must be. I know that I can’t understand but I am here for you and I’m happy to lend an ear if you want to talk about it.” Aaron quietly soothed you.
“Thank you so much Aaron. I just don’t know how to wrap my head around this being me but not remembering it. Clearly you all mean so much to me and yet I have no recollection of any of this.” You sobbed.
Aaron and you sat like that on your couch for a while. He gave you the time you needed to calm down, while holding you, whispering sweet nothings to you. You felt oddly comfortable there in his arms, your mind shifted to the thought that enjoying the way his arms felt around you was also incredibly inappropriate given that he was your boss. At that thought you shifted slightly. You thought back to why you had signed up to audit Aaron’s lecture and while the main reason was the knowledge he’d lend you, a part of you allowed his looks to give you that final push in signing up.
“I should probably grab a few things so we can head out.” You whispered.
“Do you need any help?” Aaron asked.
“I should be okay, but I’ll let you know!”
Aaron drove the two of you back to his apartment, for the time being he had asked Jessica to keep Jack, this way you could adjust, and Jack also wouldn’t out your relationship. Aaron had his guest bedroom set up for you, he’d set it up with some of your favorite things. A lavender scented candle, extra pillows, a fluffy blanket, and he made sure to set a small trinket dish on the dresser, so you’d have a place to put your jewelry.
These of course were all things Aaron had previously had at his place for you. When you two had gotten increasingly more serious, he encouraged you to leave some stuff at his place and he’d gone as far as to supply some of your favorites around his home for you.
Aaron led you into his home and you couldn’t help but glance around, really taking in your surroundings. You couldn’t help but take note of a few things as he showed you around; there was a photo missing from the side table next to the couch (you could see the tiny bit of dust that must’ve collected around it), the pantry was stocked with quite a few of your favorite snacks, there was a pink coffee mug in the cabinet, and lastly, tucked under the shoe rack near the front door were a pair of fluffy gray slippers.
You couldn’t explain why, but there was a slight pang of jealousy in you as you thought of Aaron having a girlfriend. You knew you had no right to feel that way and it would be incredibly inappropriate, but it was a gut reaction.
*One Week Later*
Aaron and you had fallen into a weird sort of routine, it started to feel a lot like the 50’s, you making dinner and cleaning while he worked. You were starting to get a bit stir crazy, which is exactly why you were so excited today. Garcia would be coming by to see you; she was bringing over a bunch of photos and videos of you with the team throughout the last three years.
It was a paperwork catch-up day for the BAU, so Aaron had given Penelope the go ahead to take a long lunch and spend some time with you. So, when a knock on the door rang through the apartment, you couldn’t help the burst of excitement that coursed its way through your veins.
“Hi Penelope!”
“Hey babe! How are you feeling?” She asked, giving you a look of concern.
“I’m feeling pretty good, you know, except for the missing five years of memories thing.”  You let out a low chuckle.
“Oh goodness! Well, I’ve brought a ton of stuff that might help bring some stuff back. I read that sense of smell is the sense that links with memories the strongest so have a bunch of things for you to smell while you look at photos in hopes something will come back to you.”
“That sounds like a great idea!” You smiled at Penelope.
The next hour or so went by with Penelope showing you photos and videos along with passing you various items to smell in hopes of bringing back some of your memories. And while it wasn’t like a wave crashing over you, bringing all your memories back, it did bring some things back. You could remember the members of the BAU and some of their quirks, you remembered the feeling of being in the bullpen (thanks to the smell of some very burnt coffee). What you were struggling to regain was your emotional memories, you couldn’t quite pinpoint the relationships you had with anyone from the team.
“I am glad that this helped! I should probably get out of your hair though; I can tell you have headache.” Penelope
“Thank you Penelope, I really appreciate all of this!”
You led her to the door, and she reminded you to get some rest and to take it easy. She also suggested that you come by the BAU for lunch in the next week or so to see everyone. The team had been doing a good job of not overwhelming you and allowing you time to get back in the swing of things.
“Oh, Penelope before you go, did you get a chance to back up my old phone? Aaron said you were working on it.”
“Oh, hon. He must’ve forgotten to mention it, but I will get started on that right away! I’ll text you as soon as I’m done, okay? We will just be able to pull the backup and put it on your new phone!” She said pulling you into a tight hug, before making her exit.
Why would Aaron have lied to you about your old phone? Maybe Penelope was right, and it just slipped his mind, he had been dealing with a lot, taking care of you, and having you stay with him.
You hadn’t meant to snoop, honestly, but after having talked with Penelope, the feeling Aaron was hiding something from you was extremely prevalent. You decided to look around a bit, you know, while putting the laundry away. You needed to put the towels away in Aaron’s bathroom, you just happened to notice the second toothbrush in the holder, the dress hanging inside his closet (come on, the door was already open), the ring box tucked in his sock drawer, what shocked you the most were the photos in the hall closet. It was a photo of him and a tall brunette that had you spiraling, where was this woman? You had clearly been invading his space long enough and you couldn’t bear the thought of coming between him and this woman who was to be his fiancé.
You needed to get back to your life, and out of Aaron’s hair. You decided that you’d tell him that night over dinner, you were going to move back home.
“Hey, I’m home!” Aaron called.
“Hey, how was your day?” You asked.
Aaron explained that his day was good, and he asked you about your get together with Penelope as you finished up dinner. Aaron set the table as you followed behind him plating up the food.
“I’m glad to hear things went well with Penelope. I think lunch with the team is a great idea.”
“Aaron I’m gonna move back home.” The words flew out of your mouth faster than your brain could catch up. “I’m sorry, I just don’t want to impose on your life any more than I already have.”
“It’s truly not an imposition, but if that’s what you want.” Aaron looked deflated.
“I just think it’s important we both get back to our usual every day.”
“If you think that’s best.”
You two ate in silence. Afterwards you both went to the kitchen, cleaned up the dishes and made your way to your separate rooms. You began packing up your belongings and Aaron scrolled through photos of the two of you from before the accident.
*Two Days Later*
“Good morning gorgeous!!! I am calling to inform you that the backup from your old phone is ready, and I also think it is the perfect day for you to come in and have lunch with everyone!” Penelope sang over the phone.
“Okay, what time should I come down there?”
“Ummm maybe around 12:30? Everyone is usually ready to eat by then. I can call and order in something too!”
“Oh, and uh Pen, I don’t know the address, and I’m not cleared to drive.” You said shyly.
“Oh shoot, okay! I’ll see who is available to come and pick you up, no worries.” Penelope reassured you.
You took some time getting ready, most of the team hadn’t seen you since before the injuries, and while the cuts and bruises have faded and scarred, you still had a very broken wrist and frequent headaches, along with PTSD and anxiety attacks thanks to the TBI. You felt like you had been doing well, and based on your recent check-up with your neurologist, things are trending up in regard to your health. Though you began to worry that the worst had yet to come.
A knock on your door shook you out of your thoughts, as you made your way to answer it, you wondered who Penelope sent to get you. Pulling the door open revealed someone you were hoping you wouldn’t see so soon.
“Hi Aaron.”
“Hello, were going to go pick up the food on the way back to the BAU, if that’s okay.” Aaron explained.
“Yeah, that’s fine.” You nodded.
The drive was filled with tense silence. You couldn’t help but wonder why Aaron would harbor any negative feelings towards you. You’d only moved out of his apartment so he could get back on to his life, if anything he should be grateful that you’ve gone home. One of the main reasons you’d really decided to go home was because of the fact that you were growing far too comfortable.
Things at Aaron’s house were starting to feel right, like it was where you belong. You had no idea how you had been able to work with him over the last few years, the crush you had on him all those years ago had only proven to grow stronger.
“I’ll run in and grab the food.” Aaron said, pulling you out of your thoughts.
Before you could reply, he stepped out of the car and made his way into the restaurant.
Aaron got you signed in with a visitor’s badge (as you weren’t cleared to work) and then he led you up to the sixth floor, BAU bullpen. Upon walking in, you felt an odd sense of familiarity. You knew that it would make sense for the BAU to bring memories back and that you would have muscle memory to help lead you through the building, but it felt very strange.
You looked over at Aaron, “I need to go see Garcia, do you mind pointing me in the right direction?”
“Of course, her office is that way. Second door on the right.”
“Thanks.” You smiled.
You wandered through the corridor, catching a glimpse of Garcia through her open door. You lightly knocked on her door and walked into her office.
“Oh! Hello gorgeous!” Garcia squealed, standing, and pulling you into a hug.
“Hey Pen!”
“Let’s get your phone squared away and then we will go eat.”
You handed your phone over to Penelope and she began downloading the last backup from your old phone.
“This should only take a few minutes.”
Penelope and you made idle chit chat for a few moments while waiting on your phone. When it finished uploading, she unplugged it and handed it to you. The two of you then made your way to the bullpen.
Lunch with the BAU was overwhelming to say the least. It was fun talking to everyone, but you could tell everyone was walking on eggshells and you could see the pity flash behind their eyes as you sat and explained your lack of memories with the people sitting before you.
After lunch, Aaron let everyone leave early. It had been a paperwork day and the team had been very productive. He told them all to go home, but of course to leave their phones on, just in case they had to leave. Emily offered to drive you home, given the close proximity of your apartments.
When you got home, you changed into some comfortable clothes and sat on the couch. You took a deep breath and unlocked your phone. There were two things you noticed while going through everything, the first being a significant number of photos saved and the second being the texts exchanged between you and your boss.
You decided to go through the photos first. There were plenty of you with the various members of the BAU, but what caught your attention was one image in particular, in it, you were laid in bed with your head resting on a man’s chest…the man being none other than Aaron.
You quickly switched over to your messages app. Clicking Aaron’s name, you saw the most recent text…
“Be careful sweetheart. I love you.”
Your mind was racing, what were you meant to think, why would he keep this from you? Was the ring meant for you? You needed to see him.
You ordered an Uber and made your way to the FBI building. You signed in, getting a visitors’ badge and headed up to the sixth floor.
“Aaron” You called out into the bullpen.
“Is everything okay? What are you doing here?” Aaron asked as he walked out of his office.
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Tell you what?” Aaron questioned.
“That we were together.”
You gestured to your phone. Aaron dropped his gaze for a moment, before looking back to you. You could see the pain behind his eyes.
“Sweetheart, we had been keeping it a secret, and I don’t know, I guess I thought that maybe you’d be better off. I figured you might find someone more appropriate for you.”
“That wasn’t a choice for you to make. Aaron things have been confusing enough, losing my memory. But to have you lying to me, it’s total bullshit. How am I supposed to get my memories back if you are keeping such a big part of me a secret.” You couldn’t help the frustrated tears from slipping down your cheek.
Aaron reached for you and let his thumb brush the tear off your cheek. He stepped closer to you and brought his other hand to your cheek.
“I am so sorry. I should’ve told you from the get-go, I was scared. I thought that maybe I would tell you and you’d have to get to know me again and maybe you wouldn’t love me the way you did before. I also couldn’t help but think that I don’t deserve you and this was your perfect out. But that was selfish, I should’ve told you the truth.”
You leaned your head onto Aaron’s chest, and he wrapped his arms around you. He pressed a gentle kiss to your hairline and then he pulled back.
“Can I show you something?” Aaron asked.
You nodded and followed him to his office. Aaron led you around his desk and gestured for you to sit in his chair. He pointed to his computer screen, and you took note of the screen saver. It was a slideshow of pictures taken throughout your relationship, there were pictures of you at the FBI Gala, Jack’s soccer game, art museums, at Aaron’s home, at your apartment, etc..
It happened slowly, then all at once. A warm feeling flooded your veins, and a dull ache filled your head. Tears were steadily streaming down your face. You looked up at Aaron, and he met your gaze. A moment was shared before understanding washed over Aaron.
“I remember.”

Heyyy! I was wondering if u could do the bachelors & bachelorettes reactin to / dating an s/o who has really intense nose bleeds when they're stressed. But plot twist bc this is literally the norm for the farmer bc they have crippling anxiety, especially social.
Thank u sm!!
A/N: I don’t know why I thought this was funny??? My anxiety just makes my stomach upset but a nosebleed in front of everyone like some sort of anxious demon is funny. Not the clean up tho. I’ve never had a nosebleed but I know they bleed SO MUCH. Also no problemo!!! Always glad to get requests!! I did different things (so not just stressed because I would’ve written the same thing for anyone I made crush aspects as sort of for stress too lmao) for each hopefully they’re good enough!
Tw: cursing, blood, anxiety, the nose bleeds are VERY dramatic because it’s fiction lmao. Physical fights(in Leah’s part), arguments(in almost all of them). Pierre hate Pam hate(kinda) Demetrius hate Morris hate. And Kel is gender neutral! let me know if there’s anything else to tag!
Wc: idk lmao hopefully at least 100 words for each
Stardew Masterlist
Sebastian:
Just frowns
Actually helps unexpectedly
….we can never talk about this happening again if you want……
It’s not often that you get to see the towns resident emo, even after visiting Robin multiple times for various building needs. So when you wander into the house, looking for Robin so you can upgrade your coop, seeing him makes your brain malfunction.
“Oh…hey farmer.” He greets, moving past you to head further into the house. You blink for a second before returning the greeting, watching as his dark hoodie disappears behind a wall.
You try to force your breathing to slow down. There is absolutely NO reason you should be this worked up over a literal one second conversation. While you sit with your thoughts, foot steps fill your ears and the sight of Sebastian returning from wherever he went makes all of your progress regress. “So…you here waiting for my mom?”
You nod quickly, clearing your throat, “yeah…um…just need to upgrade my chicken coop.”
“Oh well, she’s not in today. She usually goes to Pierre’s store to work out with the other moms.”
You frown to yourself, how did you miss that she wouldn’t be in today? Damn now all you can think about is how you just made a fool of yourself. Lost in your thoughts, you miss that Sebastian had cleared his throat a couple times until he waves a hand in front of your face.
“If you want, I can take your order and tell her when she gets home later. That way she can get started tomorrow.”
“Would you?” Your heart flips as you perk up. Was he usually this nice? You kinda heard from Robin herself that Sebastian never really interacted with people he wasn’t already friends with.
“Yeah sure.” He shrugs and moves to go around the counter, setting his slowly cooling food down. “Okay so she usually charges 10,000g and you have to have 400 logs of wood and 150 things of stone. Sound right?”
You nod and hand over the bag of money. The second your hands touch it’s like your body decided it couldn’t handle anything else from him. Luckily he just takes the money and pretends like your nose hasn’t become a geyser as you scramble to try to keep the blood from dripping all over their furniture.
Sam:
WOAH DUDE IS THAT LIKE….NORMAL?
it’s like from a movie or something
Is overall sorta scared but at the same time thinks it’s cool
“And this is how I do a kick flip!” Sam shows you skateboard trick after trick and honestly you can’t get enough of it. It wasn’t a secret that the both of you had crushes on each other, and even now it was very obvious by how you were watching him do his tricks that you had feelings for him. Yet still you two weren’t in a relationship, just sort of friends who like each other in a romantic sort of way.
“You’re so cool!” You clap as he lands another trick.
“And you’re cute!”
“What?”
You freeze in your spot and watch in confusion as he sort of freezes midway through his next trick and crashes to the ground. His words echo in your head, making your face heat up and your heart soar. He smacks his face on the ground, sending you into a panic because now all you can think about is how he thinks you’re cute, and now how he probably has a concussion from hitting his face directly onto the concrete.
When he lifts his face off the ground, you’re kneeling next to him, trying to check on him. His forehead is bleeding, his nose is bleeding, and so is his mouth. You shriek and try to go through your backpack to see if you have anything to help him. You didn’t.
You already know where this is leading, and you let out a groan of annoyance right before your nose starts leaking just like his. His eyes widen and he lets out a loud laugh. Maybe you two can move out of the weird friendship you have after all.
Shane:
Would just stare silently
Like no comments no nothing
Doesn’t even act like it’s happening
Having a part time job at Joja Mart during the winter is one of the absolute worst ideas that you’ve had in a while. But you didn’t make a lot during your first year of farming. Stacking the products onto the shelves, your only saving Grace is the fact that you’re allowed to have earphones in. Except for the fact that Pam is now standing next to you asking loudly about where something is. Shane is stacking the shelves behind you.
“I don’t know Pam…the alcohol is probably on the wall in the back.” You frown at her. She obviously knows that you don’t know this store that well, you were a FARMER that NEVER shopped here before. She rasps out another question and it takes everything in you to not snap at her. Trying to calm yourself of course there’s gonna be something else that makes you lose your mind. That something is Morris, coming over and being the absolute WORST and in turn making Pam LOUDER and more insistent.
He’s lecturing you, Pam is agreeing with him way too loudly, the music on your headphones is now overwhelming instead of calming, and the sound of random things in the market is making you want to bite a chunk out of the loaves of bread in front of you, plastic and all. With everything building up inside of you, you already know what’s going to happen. It always happens, but instead of excusing yourself you stand there, staring Morris down as the blood begins to flow from your nostrils.
Pam yells out curses and Morris begins to stutter, but behind them Shane just stares for a second before continuing to work. When you’re finally left alone with him in the aisle as your two stressors hastily take their leave, all he does is let out a dry chuckle.
“Sam has a hell of a mess to clean up…”
Alex:
Oh DUDE your nose is like….LEAKING
Doesn’t help
Just watched and comments
“AND THEN HE HAS THE NERVE TO TELL PEOPLE THAT MY HARVESTS ARE HIS BUT HE ONLY DOES IT IF ITS GOOD!” You rant to the brown haired boy, pacing back and forth in his room. Thankfully both Evelyn and George were out so you weren’t bothering anyone except for the man in front of you.
You huff and puff as he watches, slightly amused slightly concerned. Alex wasn’t the best person to go to when you’re upset unless it was something absolutely devastating. So being in front of him now, complains about your farming woes meant that he was only half ass taking it seriously. “You should go and speak your mind.” He says.
Turns out you should NOT take advice from Alex. Standing in Pierre’s shop, you’re staring him down angrily, anxiety creeping up your throat from you trying to will yourself to call him out on his bullshit. The older man just kind of stares at you in confusion because all you had done was shout his name angrily as you entered the shop then stand in front of him seething.
“You….you…..” you point a finger at him. This was the moment, the moment you stand up for yourself and tell Pierre how HORRIBLE he is!
But of course things don’t work how you want and your nose gushes out blood all over the counter before you can work yourself up to the point of accusations. With a gasp you run out of the shop, hoping that he would keep his mouth shut with Alex running behind you laughing. Again, NEVER let Alex talk you into anything.
Elliott:
Panics
How do I help PLS LET ME HELP
Everything probably gets messy
Fishing had never been your favorite pastime, but now trying to fix up the community center you had to. Unfortunately Willy was gone and couldn’t properly teach you even though he had gifted you an old rod of his, so the next best thing is getting your boyfriend to teach you since he does fish often. Now you stand on the docks, waiting for a fish to bite the hook.
“Keep calm, the fish can feel your fear and it makes them upset.” Elliott spoke. In all honesty you didn’t even know if that was true or not, but you take in a breath to calm down. You did not want to be here all day you had cows to pet.
The second your line begins to pull you try to pull the fish in. And you succeed until it comes time to unhook the eel you managed to catch. The eel is slimy and slippery and all around not a good thing to try to grip. A shriek leaves your lips and the eel struggles, Elliott tries to help you but is also struggling to catch hold of it. And now your nose is bleeding adding another layer to the already hellish experience.
You’re unhappy, the eel is unhappy, and Elliott is unhappy. After what seems like an hour, the stupid thing slips out of your grips and back into the ocean, washing your nose blood off of it and splashing you with saltwater. 0 out of 10 you will not be trying again.
Harvey:
Calm but concerned(after panicking for a second)
Has a doctory approach to it
But is secretly like WTF inside
Your heart thumps in your chest as you sit on the clinic bed. It’s been a while since you’ve been in Harvey’s clinic, having taken a break from the mines, and somehow this seems more shameful than having been beaten almost to death by living slime. Your hands bleed into the cloth you have pressed into it. One of the pigs knocked you over into the broken fence you were in the middle of fixing. Now you sit waiting for the good looking Doctor.
When he walks in he’s all smiles, tapping his clipboard with his pen. “While I’m sad to see that you’re injured, I’m glad to see it isn’t from those mines again.” The eye contact he makes with you makes your heart twist for a second.
He starts speaking of all the shots you need and the antibiotics you need to take, rust poisoning is quite serious you know. “Now,” he says, moving towards you, “let me see your hand.”
Your heart thumps erratically at the close proximity of him and you. You only really ever got to see him this close when you were half dead and barely conscious. His face is much too close for you to be able to do anything but focus on how pretty his eyes are, and how fluffy his mustache is, and how…
“OH MY DEAR YOBA” He yelps and jumps away from you. It takes only a second after him to realize what’s going on, and now your furiously wiping away at your nose with your hands instead of with the cloth, and he’s trying to get something on your nose to catch the blood. It’s a disaster, really. But at least you’re already in a clinic!
Penny:
Probably panics
Doesn’t know how to deal with it
Would try to help though
The warmth of the pool in the spa did nothing to ease your nerves as you waded in the shallow end of the pool. Penny had invited you to come sometime after 7 pm, and when you had arrived she was already waiting for you, kicking her feet in the pool. The thought of her asking you here made your stomach turn, did you do something wrong…? Was she inviting you here to tell you she hated you or something…? You had grown close to her over your time here and would hate it if she thought you were too much or something.
“Do you know why I invited you here?” She asks, moving closer but keeping her eyes on the water.
You shake your head, “I’m not exactly sure, no.”
She frowns and sighs at you, meeting your eyes for a fleeting second then looking elsewhere. “Really? I thought you would’ve noticed by now…” her words trail off and her eyebrows furrow.
The next few seconds are ones that you simultaneously want to remember for forever and forget. She confesses her feelings for you. Feelings that you obviously reciprocate, and the emotions in you mix and grow, rising up your throat as if you were a volcano of conflicting feelings. As soon as you open your mouth to tell her that yes, you like her too, her face morphs into one that’s horrified instead of hopeful, disgusted instead of smitten and you realize a second after she does that your nose is spouting red, dyeing the water you both were swimming in.
Penny shrieks for a solid second before trying to scramble out of the water as fast as she can. You do the same, swirling the red around the pool as both of you splash trying to exit the now crime scene looking pool. When you get out of the water, she’s holding a towel right in your face, smooshing it so hard you can barely breathe and now your nose is throbbing with slight pain. “What do we do?!” She asks moving about quickly. She’s so confused that she just keeps walking and turning as if she’s remembering and forgetting things at the same time.
You just tilt your head downward and cringe inwardly, this was not the way to get a girl to like you. “It’s fine…I’m fine,” you say voice nasally and muffled. “And I like you too by the way.”
Haley:
confused staring
wtf is happening
Actually speechless
It isn’t every day that you get to talk to a beautiful blonde. It isn’t even every day that you talk to anyone. So when she approaches you on one of your trips off of your farm you couldn’t help but feel like either everything is out to get you or that you’re up on your luck. You don’t really know for sure, it honestly depends on how things go.
“Hey farmer!” She smiles as soon as she stops in front of you, the feeling of your stomach twisting makes you want to vomit in all of your nervousness. “I have a favor to ask you…”
“Yeah?” You ask trying to keep your cool. “What is it?”
“I would totally love love LOVE you forever if you could bring me an amethyst? It’s for Emily’s birthday and I don’t really like Clint so I don’t wanna buy anything from him. I’m willing to pay 150g!”
You cough into your fist, nodding along and taken aback by how casually she’s speaking to you. Before you can accept doing her the favor, the horrified look on your face makes your words falter.
She looks absolutely horrified, and touching your hand to your face you can feel why. Your nose started dripping blood, and by dripping you mean you can now feel it running down to your chin. A flurry of curses leave your mouth as confused noises leave hers. It's not much of a surprise that this has happened, but man did you wish it wasn't in front of her.
Emily:
Surprisingly chill about it
Probably has a weird story about a nosebleed or something
Actually helps
You sit at the bar alone, upset at a horrible farming day. You tried your best, you really did, but those stupid ass crows actually ate ALL of your seedlings. Or…almost all of them but that’s basically the same thing! There is no way you’re gonna make enough to make it through winter comfortably. You told Emily exactly this, appreciative of her listening ear in the middle of her busy shift.
“You know they probably didn’t mean it…or maybe they did,” she sucks in a breath eyebrows furrowing as she thinks, “you know crows are very smart they probably know that you’re using that land to farm and stay there because of all the free food.”
“But it’s not free!” You exclaim, throwing your hands up in annoyance, “I have to buy those seeds! They’re just putting me into debt!”
She hums and nods, wiping the bar next to you where a person had just left. You had only a couple months left until the snow started falling and making it virtually impossible to grow anything. The little plants you had left you had to fight the crows for. And by fight I mean you angrily swung a broom at the with the intent of scaring them (not hitting them that’s mean). Still the growing anger inside you was not easily crushed by her warm and quite frankly outlandish words. No, in fact your anger grew the more you thought about it.
You felt it coming before anything had even exited your nose, hurriedly snatching the rag from Emily’s hands. Damn now you would have to buy the bar a new one. She just blinks then nods as if your nose becoming a bloody waterfall was normal.
“You know…nose bleeds cause by stress is usually because your heart rate and blood pressure increase and it causes your blood vessels to dilate!”
You stare at her before laughing. Maybe she was helpful after all.
Abigail:
WOAH
WTF
WHAT DO WE DO?
You stand in front of Pierre in front of the shop, arms crossed as you watch his face grow redder the longer time goes on. “-IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH MY DAUGHTER?” You’re not really listening to his tirade, over the whole ‘protective dad’ thing.
“Dad I’m an adult! You have no say in who I date!” Abigail yells back, face equally red. Who would’ve known that he would have a problem with the farmer he rips off constantly dating his daughter?
He yells out more reasons that the two of you shouldn’t be dating, and in turn points a finger into your chest roughly. You sputter out an offended sound, moving away from him. “Don’t touch me!”
“You shouldn’t be touching my daughter!”
“What? Dude we just started dating, you’re weird as hell!”
The arguing only gets worse from there, accusations flying around and now an audience comes with the drama. It’s almost too much for you to handle with now Caroline, Harvey, Haley, and the Milner family standing and watching the chaos. “Abby let’s just go to my place…” you try suddenly feeling the need to escape and no longer feeling the ‘fuck you dude’ attitude.
“No! He needs to understand that he can’t control my life!”
It’s like a volcano in your body and just like a volcano your nose begins to erupt. Now you’re screaming, Abigail is screaming, Pierre is screaming, the Mullners are screaming. Could this get any worse?
Turns out yeah, it can get any worse, like a family fight worse and now all of you are sitting in Harvey’s clinic. At least you aren’t the only bloody one now.
Maru:
Is surprised
Also forgets what to do
Would probably make things worse
Maru talks about robots and space the way you would talk about her: totally and completely enamored. You sit on her bed listening to her talk about her newest invention, some sort of robot that can cook and clean and basically be a free maid. You laugh and move your arm to get in a more comfortable position to watch her. Unfortunately your arm had other plans and smacked hard into her bed post. Groaning out in pain, your eyes close and begin to water from how much your elbow hurt.
Demetrius is in your face before you even realize that he was in the room. You yelp out in surprise as he starts ranting about you ruining his daughter’s future. You blink in surprise and try to retreat back into the mattress. What was happening. You can hear Maru screaming over his words but your ears feel like they’re filled with water.
“We’re just friends!” You find yourself shouting. Like damn is the man insane? It wasn’t the first time he’s gotten upset at you over Maru, but it was the first time that he was absolutely losing his mind.
“Dad stop!”
Time froze for a second as you and Demetrius stared at each other, Maru standing near him. Breathing in you can taste blood in your mouth before your nose starts bleeding, yet you can’t bring yourself to do anything but sit and catch your breath.
“Oh my god!” Both Demetrius and Maru exclaim moving around the room trying to find something to help. You couldn’t help but feel annoyed at him acting concerned now.
Thankfully Maru looked cute trying to help you which at least made things a little better.
Leah:
Is also freaking out on the inside but calm on the outside
Helps you with tissues
Is understanding
Going on a date with Leah is a dream come true. There’s paint, wine, food, and you’re sitting in the prettiest meadow you’ve ever seen, well it’s pretty because Leah is there and she’s pretty and you’ve been here multiple times because it’s near her cottage but it still looks different today.
You sit, paintbrush in hand, laughing at something she’s saying. It’s fun and if she hadn’t have asked you would’ve spent the day farming like usual, this little break was needed. The day couldn’t be ruined, absolutely nothing can ruin it.
Okay, one thing can ruin it and that one thing is Kel coming and ruining everything. The argument that ensues is one of the worst that you’ve seen. Kel tries to walk up on you(translation: Kel wants to fight you), Leah stops them but in turn gets into a fight with them which causes you to actually get up and try to defend her.
You kinda block out until you can hear Kel call out “I made your nose bleed bitch!” Which again causes you to want to drown in your anger.
“My noses is bleeding because I’m stressed, stupid!” You back. It’s obvious Kel hadn’t been able to hit your nose so claiming to be able to hit you so hard your nose bleeds isn’t even possible. It’s almost childish how the two of you argue.
Leah finally gets Kel to leave and hands you a bunch of tissues as she sits you down on the now rumpled blanket. As the two of you catch your breath and calm down, you find yourself smiling at her behind the wad of tissues catching blood flowing from your nose.
At least the situation would be funny in the future.

Haley teaches you to touch yourself
Content warnings: obviously nsfw, minors I am not responsible for your media consumption but pls do not interact with this one, fem farmer, they’re lesbians your honour, masturbation, praise
She masturbates pretty regularly, so when you guys get into the more sexual aspect of your relationship and she learns you’ve never masturbated simply because you could never quite get it right boy if she determined to help
She’s got the mood set, lights are dimmed, some music playing in the background on low volume (I cannot be convinced she doesn’t listen to Chappell roan), sweet scented candles lit
Has you sit across from her, your both naked, she’ll start trailing her hands over her body telling you to copy her movements on yourself
Gently running her hands over her thighs and stomach, cupping her tits and watching as you shyly follow along, showing you how to pinch your nipples and delighted in the breathy whimper it elicits from you
She’ll spread her legs and instruct you to watch her closely, spreading her pussy lips apart and showing you how sticky she is “you’ve been such a good girl for me, following along perfectly baby” she praises in a low soft tone, “now keep being good for me and I’ll reward you” she teases lightly
She watches intently as you follow her movements, your hands exploring your own body slowly and sensually as you begin to feel your slick gathering, your thighs becoming sticky
Your fingers gently dipping to finally pay attention to your neglected clit, a moan leaving your mouth as the pleasure begins to build, Haley’s all but abandoned her own pleasure in favour of watching you more closely
“That’s it sweet girl, you can take two fingers can’t you?” She coo’s at you as she watches you dip your fingers into your cunt, savouring the way your face scrunches in pleasure as your high begins to build
When you let her know your gonna cum she’s over beside you pulling you into the sloppiest kiss, swallowing your moans as you ride out your high with her, panting into her mouth
“What a good girl I have, did so good for me” she praises, pulling you into her arms to help you calm down after such an intense orgasm “how about we draw a nice hot bath, and then later when your up for it I’ll reward you for your good behaviour?” And reward you she does

How Stardew Valley Characters React To You Kissing Them Out Of Nowhere
Tumblr media
Abigail
It takes her a moment to process it when it happens
Abigail's eyes go wide and her whole face goes red as she stares at you for a moment
When she finally processes it, she looks down at the ground, a lovestruck smile on her face
Abigail looks back at you, planting a kiss on your cheek but she doesn't say anything.
Sebastian
When you kiss him out of nowhere, he almost drops his cigarette
Sebastian stares forward, not saying anything
Finally, after a moment, he looks over at her, his face turning a shade of red
A smile appears on Sebastian's face as he wraps an arm around your shoulder, pulling you close
Shane
Congratulations, you've broken him
Shane starts to sputter when you kiss him, eyes going wide in surprise
He looks at you for a second before he has to look away, not wanting you to see the blush on his face
Harvey
He's only caught off guard for a second, but it doesn't last long
Harvey smiles as he looks at you, a lovestruck look on his face
He leans over and places a kiss on your cheek, still smiling
Emily
Her first reaction is to laugh
Emily blushes as she leans in, kissing you back
After she pulls away she wraps her arms around you in a hug
All the while she teases you
Maru
She wasn't even caught off guard
She just smiles at you, the tiniest hint of a blush on her face
Maru laughs to herself as she pulls you into a hug
Leah
She was not expecting it at all
Leah's entire face goes red as she stares forward, too embarrassed to look you in the eyes
When she finally does, she can barely maintain eye contact
After a moment, she places a kiss on your cheek before looking away again
Sam
Sam tries to play it cool
But there's still a blush on his face as he rubs the back of his neck nervously
He makes a comment about how you missed, pointing to his lips with a smirk on his face
Alex
He also tries to play it cool
But it's easy to tell that he's embarrassed and caught off guard
He laughs after a moment before kissing you back
Elliot
He looks calm, and he is
He looks over at you, a loving smile on his face
Elliot places a hand on your head, ruffling your hair in an affectionate manner
He then places a kiss on your forehead, telling you how cute you are
Penny
Her whole face is red
She can't look you in the eye as she processes what just happened
After a moment, Penny smiles, placing a kiss on your cheek
Haley
A smile immediately appears on her face
Haley looks over at you, a slight blush on her cheeks
She teases you a bit, placing a kiss on your cheek to see you blush as well
