“I feel you”/Self-Sacrifice 

Spoiler: This is an excerpt from an unnamed fanfic

“Do I really have to stay here?” Ahsoka groans, falling back against the bed.

“You need to rest your leg if it’s going to heal properly, Commander,” Kix says, a hint of exasperation in his voice now.

“I already have been resting.”

“Don’t worry, Snips,” Anakin assures, stepping over to the side of her bed, “It will not be much longer. You aren’t missing anything right now.”

“I know,” she huffs, “That doesn’t mean I like being stuck in bed.”

“I know,” he assures, “But it will not be for much longer.”

“Fine,” she grumbles, rolling her eyes. He’s right, but that doesn’t mean she has to be happy about it.

“I’ll be back later, Snips,” he promises, slipping out of the medbay.

She stares up at the ceiling above her, watching as Kix moves around on the far side of the room, taking care of some of the other clones.

Maybe she should try meditating for a bit, or something. Or she could work on her datapad, but…

Just then, one of the other clones who’s about to leave the medbay approaches her bed. It takes her only a moment to recognize him.

“Hardcase?” Ahsoka asks, sitting up immediately, careful not to jostle her leg. It does still hurt, at least a little, even if she’s doing her best to ignore it.

“Hey Commander,” he grins, “I heard you’re trapped in bed?”

“Yeah, I am,” she agrees, “You’re lucky you’re not.”

“I feel you,” he concurs cheerfully, “How long will you be here?”

“Until Kix decides my leg can support weight.” Whenever that will be.

“I can fix that.”

She raises an eyemarking. “How?”

“I can carry you,” he offers with a grin.

“I – ” She really wants to agree to that, but… “I don’t think I should get in your way like that.”

“It won’t be a problem, Commander,” he promises eagerly, and she gets the feeling that maybe he just wants to do this for some reason.

“Okay,” Ahsoka grins, “So long as it doesn’t give Kix a heart attack.”

A few moments later, she finds herself perched on Hardcase’s shoulders, ready to leave the medbay. Kix is… outwardly not at all impressed with the idea, but she can distinctly feel him radiating amusement, and he doesn’t protest when they leave.

“Seppie Tag”

Summary: Downtime on the Dominator could only mean one thing. A “training” in stealth and stamina

Notes: don’t be scared to suggest any ideas or pairing!

The halls echoed and magnified any footsteps near, at the moment they were quite. Too quite for a ship housing the infamous 501st.

You peaked down the corridors for any sign of life. The silence eased you a little as you turned back to the panel on the wall to open the next door.

'Tup, I repeat Tup was tagged I saw it with my own eyes!' The voice that belong to none other than Fives sounded from your comm. Echos voice going over what you could assume was a strategy was heard from the background.

That made Tup, Jesse, and Hardcase the 'Seppie' of the game, their goal is to tag everyone else aboard the Dominator.

The door swooshed open as the comms erupted by a few troopers and their comments on the new tagger.

Looking ahead down the new hall the bottom half of some plastroid armor quickly vanished behind another corner.

Listening for a moment the quite footfalls gave no hint about who it could be, but it definitely ruled some heavy footers out.

Making your way down the corridor your head constantly on a swivel listening for anything that could hint at another person.

Quite shouts filled your senses as you started a brisk jog trying to get to the bridge of the ship. It was one of the better options you had to hide out in.

"Why would we ever do that?" Someone whispered from somewhere to your left.

"Do you have a better idea Vod we need to find more people." A voice responded "it's better so we wouldn't get picked off as quick.

You crouched down by a nearing vent assuming that’s the place some people were holding a normal conversation. "Planning to sacrifice your brothers Fives? How noble of you."

There was bumping around for a moment until the hatch popped open.

"Maker Y/N" Echo grabbed his chest as he slumped against the wall after he crawled his way out. "I thought someone found us."

"No no." You put your hands up as a mock surrender. "But we could help each other you know."

Fives stood behind you now he added. "You know that wouldn't be such a bad idea si-." He was cut off by the comms buzzing before he could finish.

"We have news boys." Jeese laughed onto the comm channel. "Rex has become a Seppie and is on hot pursuit of the General."

You looked around at each of the clones for a second, this was bad- if anyone could finish the job quickly by tagging everyone it was the Captain and the General together.

A dangerous duo on and off the battlefield.

Fives looked at you now , giving the 'Well now what commander?' face.

Another door further down the hall scraped open. In a flash the form of General Skywalker came rushing towards you. Close behind was Rex very hot in his tail.

Echo was the first to react jumping from his seated position and booking it in the same direction Anakin was heading .

Fives and yourself were quick to follow, the laughter of Anakin and Fives filled the halls.

"Run men. I'll hold him off." Anakin shouted and slowed a bit.

"Noooooo Master!" You shouted playing at the role he set.

Rex came up on Anakin after his small lead, Anakin now with his back to you outstretched his arms and slowed Rex as well.

Rex laughed as he almost crashed into Anakin himself. Reaching to his wrist Rex spoke into his comm. “Hate to disappoint you boys but General Skywalker fell to the Seppies.”

On your own comm as you continued further and further down the hall erupted with laughter, complaints and well wishing to anyone still left running.

You followed Rex and Fives cutting through more and more hallways and doors. The noise of Rex and Anakin faded into the background as the twist and turns became too confusing.

“We could loose them in the bridge if they’re still on to us.” Echo called back keeping his pace. “Good places to hide.”

“Only problem is.” Fives panted “It’s closed off so if we don’t do it right we’re going to get flanked.”

The ARCs and yourself now stood waiting for some noise to die down before turning another hall. “The vents or maintenance hallways could work.”

Earning a few nods from the men you waited a second more before turning again. This final corridor would lead you straight to the Bridge of the ship

Your trio paused right before opening the door, Fives and Echo falling into position in front of you as you listen and felt for anyone in that room.

The skills and trust you acquired from training and campaigns blossomed now.

“Should be clear, maybe one or two others but I can’t make out who so stay alert.” You spoke strongly “let’s move.”

Echo went through the door first followed by you and then Fives bringing up the rear.

“We make it to those vents or hallways we’ll have the entire ship we could get to.” Echo looked around the room, empty enough.

Clearly it wasn’t.

“Well well well what do we have here.” Rex emerged from the shadowy wall he was leaning on. “Lost your way.”

The mocking tone of the captian made everyone stand on edge. Fives flashed you a glance but you were out of cleaver ideas. All you could hope now was to run.

Hardcase stepped out into the light next from the left flashing a devious smile. Soon enough Tup himself emerged from the vents you were planning to get to.

Talk about dramatic entrances, maybe everyone was picking a few things up from the General.

Now moving into the center of the room to get away from the taggers, behind the stuck trio the doors just previously went through opened.

Through them came your master, the smuggest smile on his face. “I thought I taught you to be less predictable Y/N.”

“Maybe it was just too good of an idea and somehow you thought of it Master.” You responded back.

The four men closed in on your group. In an instant the three of you dispersed. Echo and Fives were taken down by Rex and Hardcase before they could get a few feet where as you were almost to the door but your own master tagged you.

“How could you betray me to the Seppies master.” You grabbed your chest and flopped into his side.

“Alls fair in love and war my padawan.” He stated matter-of-factly. “Thought it was tricky to try and mask 4 people with the force, I’m surprised it worked.” Rex came up besides you now “there’s still a few other left.” He hinted at you.

You sprang from Anakins side smiling at the group of taggers now. “I call going after Dogma! Ooo or Appo I might know where they would be.”

You pulled rex with you to the exit, some laughter sounded behind you about your enthusiasm.

Rex smiled alongside you. “Let’s go get ‘em commander.”

Kix and Hardcase are roughhousing in the barracks. Something about stealing pillows and Hardcase tackling Kix between the bunks—whatever is going on Echo is keeping out of it, tucked away on the bunk above the chaos.

Jesse cackles across from him. Below, Qek yelps and tumbles onto the floor, scrambling backwards out of the crossfire while Artie laughs at him. Echo’s mattress dips as another body clambers over him from a neighbouring bunk.

“Karking hell, Fives,” he mutters, grasping at the rail for balance. “This isn’t an obstacle course.”

“My bunk is under siege,” Fives complains, shuffling until he can fit in beside Echo and clipping him with his heel. Echo pulls his knees to his chest and leaves him space to swing his legs off the side, which he does with glee to observe the scuffle below.

“No need to sacrifice me to the collateral.”

“Hey, I barely touched you! I got smacked in the face.”

“And it still didn’t knock any sense into you,” Jesse calls over the gap between them.

Fives leans closer and grins at him; the beloved sight of it aches a little behind Echo’s ribs.

“No one’s managed, but you’re welcome to give it a try yourself.”

Echo’s toes press up against Fives’ thigh. He runs hot as an overstressed engine and it never fails to warm Echo up whenever he shoves his fingers and feet under Fives’ various available limbs; it’s a little ritual they’ve kept since Kamino, when Echo often felt cold in the sparse training halls.

But hiding himself under Fives’ thigh while he once again flirts with someone who isn’t him just… stings.

Fives glances back at him between sharing jibes with Jesse and hesitates, frowning at whatever Echo’s expression is doing. Okay? asks the tilt of his head. Echo lets his mouth slide into a smirk and quirks a brow in return.

Fives scoffs, flushes endearingly and turns away.

Echo’s happy for him. Really, he is—it’s not like he’s losing Fives. They’re partners at the end of the day, and Fives has made it clear how important Echo is to him.

But it’s—

Fives grips Echo’s ankle absently and his thumb tucks itself under the hem of Echo’s blacks. To Echo, the awareness of the contact tingles pleasantly.

It’s not the same.

He swallows and turns his attention back to his data pad. It’s fine, it’s nothing new. Even if there’s always someone else they’re still Echo and Fives, still the last of Domino, and Fives still loves him. And it’s more than enough.

A deep breath in, a slow four count, and Echo exhales all of the old aches from a futile hope that just won’t leave him in peace. Even if it follows him until he dies, it’s at least one last comfort to hold onto from a friend no one can take from him.

Let's talk about the 501st

Sorry, this is going to be depressing again ;-;

We all know that the story of the clones is heartbreaking but I want to talk specifically about the little "inner circle" of the 501st. There's the whole battalion, many of whom are unidentifiable and have identical armour, but then there's our little group of chaotic boys that we all know and love. And I want to talk about the evolution of that circle.

Obviously we have Rex, the leader. No matter who's there, he's the one that's looking after this little circle of chaos. He's the one that's there till the end, which means that he unfortunately gets to watch this depressing little story unfold.

Pretty early he picks up the Domino Twins. Along with Jesse and Kix, these two kind of create our little circle of regulars. These are the ones that are obviously very close to Rex and there's a great camaraderie between them. (Of course there's also our boy Cody but I'm keeping this strictly 501st). While we don't necessarily get to see them altogether, these are the ones that we really get to know as Rex's right hand men.

But unfortunately, this inner circle begins to break pretty early on. During the Citadel mission, Echo is lost and not only have we lost one half of the Domino Twins, but there's now a hole in the circle.

By the time we reach S4, there are some new additions: Tup, Hardcase, and Dogma. These guys become the younger brothers of the group, Tup and Hardcase becoming particularly close to now-Arc-Trooper Fives. And of course we have the wonderful trio of Fives, Hardcase and Jesse on Umbara.

The circle has grown and shifted from when we first saw it, but it's still there. The small group of regulars that we love to see.

But then it begins to really fall apart.

Hardcase sacrifices himself.

Dogma is arrested.

Tup dies as a result of his inhibitor chip malfunctioning.

And Fives is killed trying to tell the others about the truth.

Everything is falling apart.

We're losing the circle.

Then there's hope! Echo's alive. One of the first members of this ragtag group is back.

But he doesn't stay.

He's no longer who he once was. Those brothers (that circle) that he knew are gone. And he makes the difficult decision to join Clone Force 99.

By the end of S7, we've lost Kix too. Jesse and Rex are all that are left.

And then it happens. Order 66.

Rex has to bury Jesse. He has to bury the last of the inner circle aside from himself. He has to say goodbye to the ones that he relied on the most. His closest brothers.

We watched this group grow. We saw it change. Echo, Fives, Jesse, Kix, Hardcase, Dogma, Tup...

Now it's just Rex. The last man standing.

It's all gone.

They built a band of brothers.

And the war took it away.

it's very important to Fives to be recognized as a citizen, not just a soldier

and since the clones aren't paid, he finds ways to gather credits when he can

you'd think he'd spend them on gambling or at 79's for a good time

but he's actually spending it in the ports on planets during down time or in the markets on Coruscant when he's on leave

nearly every member of the 501st, shiny or not, has a token from Fives

it's important to him to show his gratitude and love through an act that all citizens get to do

he'd appreciate the gesture back ten fold

it doesn't have to be anything fancy

and anything he can wear under his armor like a trinket he'll adore the most

Physical touch

he's hyperactive and can barely sit still for more than 10 minutes

like he told Fives, there was a leak in his growth acceleration chamber

part of his constant energy is gently touching those he trusts

he doesn't even realize he's doing it

but soft taps on his brothers shoulders, gentle pats on their backs as he approaches, a quick fist bump with Ahsoka after a mission

and ooooooooo does he melt when it's reciprocated

congratulatory pats on his back, a brotherly arm slung around his shoulders at 79's, or even when Echo gets him in a headlock knuckling his head

he's all for it

with you, it's guaranteed he'll have a hand on you at all times

if you're enjoying down time, be prepared to be locked in his arms, cuddled on his lap for the entirety of the activity

Kix

Quality time

Since Kix is a medic, he doesn't get the rest time after a mission like most of his brothers

he has to be in the healing tents, tending to his brothers, making sure those that can live will

so he's used to busy time

but he uses it as time to be with his brothers

sure, would he rather them not be shot to get there? of course. but the time spent with them while they heal is something Kix relishes in

he never gets one-on-one time with them otherwise

he also appreciates the small signs of healing as his brothers gain their sense of humor back or engage in more conversation with him

to him, this time with them means they're alive

this translates when in a relationship as well

even if its sitting in the common areas, quietly filling out reports together, he relishes in having time with you

the soft tap of your finger or your gentle hums in thought are his favorite soundtrack

'the only time clones heard any form of praise on Kamino was when it came from their brothers

the Kaminoans were distant, and the bounty hunters weren't doling out compliments

Jesse made it a point to acknowledge his brothers' accomplishments no matter how small

he'd compliment every squad member walking off the training simulator as they walked by him and his squad waiting their turn

if he saw a brother improve on their melee skills he knew they were working on, he's the first one to acknowledge their hard work

After Umbara this is DOUBLED

it seems like he doesn't let a brother go a day without them knowing how much he appreciates them

is you want to see Jesse melt, tell him you're proud of him

Rex has seen this a plethora of time being a Captain who makes sure his troops' hard work is recognized

As far as meaningful clone deaths go...

This wasn't one of them.

Hardcase: died to ensure the completion of the mission

Fives: died to expose the threat to his brothers

99: died defending his home

Tech: died because if he didn't release his weight from from the rail car he was going to die anyway

That wasn't a meaningful sacrifice. That was a logical decision. If the showrunners decide to make it stick, it will be the least satisfying sendoff of a beloved character I've ever heard of.

My second marriage is to Hardcase (alive because I actually fucked Pong Krell) and we have a nice compound where we and his brothers and their partners live off of old dead Palp's money.

Hardcase *on shipwide comms*: The floor is lava!!! *launches himself into Jesse's arms*

Jesse *staggers before clambering onto a chair*: Did you have to jump on me?

Echo *standing on a holotable with Kix*: Why did we climb up here?

Kix *obseving the 501st members climb any surface to avoid the floor*: I wasn't getting burnt today.

Fives *shoves Dogma off a bench*: Sacrifice!!

Ahsoka then shoves Anakin over to get to a table to stand on.

CLONE WARS LASER TAG HEADCANONS

Ok so imagine the idea, everyone has time off so Anakin decides to take his wife, padawan, the boys, plus Codywan to laser tag, and obviously it goes to shit.

-Obi wan the entire time is saying how this is a bad idea. Cody tells him to lighten up a bit but totally internally agrees.

-Once they get there, all 13 of them pile of the car and into the place.(God bless the poor workers)

-Anakin sets up a round for all of them, deciding to do individuals but be careful of betrayals.

-Fives and Echo immediately team up, because Echo doesn't want to be alone, and Fives says he'll protect him to the ends of the earth but if he's about to die then Echo is on his own.

-Tup is begging Dogma to let him team up with him but Dogma claims "it's not part of the rules" so refuses.

-Cody and Obi-wan team up because it's going to take two of them to be able to defeat batshit crazy Anakin.

-Padme doesn't team up with Anakin because she knows how he gets during these things, so teams up with Ahoka instead. The two of them are the girlboss team.

-Once everything starts, everyone is idmediatly running, causing Dogma to get all pissy about the rules again, but Tup convinces him to chill a little.

-Anakin is crouched down on a up high perch that he should not be able to get to, so he can snipe people from above.

-Anakin almost falls off said perch when Hardcase swings from a loose wire, that he somehow was able to grab onto, and tries to tackle him but Anakin dodges and shoots him.

-Hardcase falls from the wire onto Kix who was watching from underneath making sure he didn't have to whip out the first aid kit.

-Kix ends up getting shot by Jesse who was also watching, but from the shadows.(ooh spooky)

-Obi-wan and Cody are back to back, the two of them trying to make sure they don't get out, but then Jesse starts shooting at them.

-Obi-wan not noticing in time(because his senses suck) almost gets shot but Cody dives in the way to protect him.

-Obi-wan is shocked and Cody says, "Avenge me General, kick his 501st ass."

-Cody is now out so Obi-wan now fully invested in the game, and with a need to avenge Cody's sacrifice hunts down Jesse and absolutely destroys him.

-After eliminating Jesse, Obi-wan tosses the gun aside and goes, "So uncivilized."

-Since he was unarmed, Ahsoka and Padme pop out of nowhere and eliminate Obi-wan.

-The Girlbosses had been hiding the whole game, just waiting for the right moment to strike.

-Fives is dramatically dodging and rolling from cover to cover, checking every corner, while Echo is either standing or sitting awkwardly behind him like he's about to say "hi welcome to chilies" any minute.

-Fives wanting to eliminate Dogma has been trying to track him this whole time by following Tup's voice trailing behind.

-Finally the two spot them and hide as to not be spotted, so Fives tells Echo to get Tup while he fullfills his wish of getting Dogma.

-As Echo was about to shoot Tup, a blast from above shoots out scaring tup Tup who runs to hide behind Dogma, so Echo ends up hitting Dogma by accident causing Fives to flip out and shoot Tup in rage.

-Fives upset with Echo decides to break the truce but tells Echo he won't be the one to eliminate him, so they go there own ways.

-Anakin from above smiles knowing his plan to break the two of them up worked because he's the one that fired the shot from above.

-Finally there are only 6 people left.

-Rex who has been travelling alone this whole time has had no excitement until Anakin pounces on him from the ceiling knocking his gun away and aiming his at Rex.

-Rex who is terrified, prepared for defeat until Anakin makes a propesition. "I want you to lure Ahsoka and Padme out, ok?" Rex complies, not wanting to face the general's wrath, goes off in search of the girls without his gun.

-Once he finds them they threaten to shoot but he's shows he's unarmed and only wants help.

-Ahsoka stops to help him, until Padme spots Anakin's glowing blue eyes shining in the dark above and he's about to shoot.

-She prepares to shoot Anakin but he's too fast and gets her before she can get him.(Jedi reflexes, am I right?"

-Ahsoka realizing rex betrayed them, shoots him. Rex is very ashamed of what he did but he'd rather loose to the commander than be destroyed by Anakin.

-Ahsoka points her gun to where Anakin was, but he was now gone. She didn't know where he went until she was shot from behind by Anakin himself.

-Now that Fives had "taken care" of Dogma, his next target was the General, whom he found sitting down waiting for him to arrive.

-The two shake hands and take their places across from each other, and they are about to do a ten second turn around shoot out thing that cowboys do.

-After the count, Anakin ends up turning around faster and blasts Fives in the chest who falls to ground dramatically.

-Anakin stands over his "corpse" and claims victory but is confused when the lights haven't arrived back on, but then he is shot in the back, the same way he did to Ahsoka.

-He turned around and saw Echo standing there confidently, and proud that he had just won. "Nobody hurts my brother and gets away with it."

-Fives who is now done pretending to be dead gets up and hugs Echo, apologizing for being a jerk and yelling at him, and that's he's so proud that he won.

-Anakin all pissy that he lost, storms off to grab a pretzel from the snack shack. He later congratulations Echo when he isn't hangry and dealing with a wife who is mad he used his Jedi abilities to beat her.

-So yeah it was a successful trip. Hardcase didn't break any bones from the fall. Neither did Kix from Hardcase falling on him.

Bonus: When all of them are prepared to leave Hondo just shows up and hands them the bill to pay for their round, and then just walks away.

This implies that Hondo owns this place, and Anakin clearly didn't check the holosite.

I literally cried because that was my first favorite clone and then he died

I straight up struggle watching the Umbara Arc because of his death

And I’ll be honest with you: I will rewatch his last episode several times 1) because I love him and 2) I’m a masochist and 3) FOR THE REPUBLIC is the best last words a clone could have

Thanks to my lovely @lune-de-miel-au-paradis I thought I would do a deep dive of my OC Crystal Lontac. Here you will find more about her & her character. I will probably do more of these going forward as I find them an interesting way for you all to get to know her more ☺️

Deep Dive OC Crystal Lontac

have they / would they dye their hair? Crystals hair is jet black. She wouldn’t change it as she likes to keep it dark. The darkness brings out the shine in her bright blue eyes.

do they maintain eye contact when talking? Yes she does.

what is their tell for lying? Her face stays straight but she clears her throat slightly before telling a lie.

do they have an accent? Not really but sometimes when speaking to her father certain words will have a hint of Mando'a.

what languages do they speak? Mando'a and basic.

what kind of music do they listen to? Heavy metal, thrash metal , metal core , rock anything heavy even though her character does not look like the type.

describe them in one word. What could happen to make them the opposite? Kind. Betrayal / loss.

do they have any ghosts? Yes she does, when she lost her mother there was a lot going on & sadly she wasn’t there. It’s haunted her since.

what is their worst fear? Being abandoned by the ones she loves.

what is a secret they do not tell anyone? Further information regarding her mothers death. She still has not told Wolffe not even her best friend. Only her father knows.

what motto do they live by? Every day is a second chance- something she tries to live by since her mothers death.

if they were a famous figure, who would they be?

.Florence Nightingale- due to her care for the clones and fighting for their rights

.Hedy Lamarr - making a name for herself within the senate and going from strength to strength in her role

personality? Crystals personality was very much shaped by her mothers death and the guilt she still feels. Before this she was a little selfish- very much loved her family and friends but was careless at times. Now she is very level headed has grown up quickly and is kind, cares deeply for her loved ones and would sacrifice herself for the ones she loves.

what great moment shaped them to be who they are? Have they lived through the moment yet?

.Falling in love with Wolffe and accepting his love for her

.The issues when that happened when Wolffes chip was set off too early , the death of her friend Hardcase

.Falling pregnant and understanding she is now responsible for not only her life but the one growing inside of her

what is their fatal flaw? Bad decisions being made when she feels lack of trust, sometimes cutting her nose off to spite her face.

how do they feel about jewelry? painted nails? Crystal wears a lot of headpieces and likes big chokers encrusted with jewels and dainty small necklaces with a delicate chain, sometimes she wears many rings on each fingers. Her nails are always square & short either natural baby pink or nude or micro French tip.

what kind of art are they? Slight BAUHAUS as a hobby, Classicism as a style, Romanticism as paintings, Futurism as sculptures and maybe slight Expressionism as films or books.

do they play a sport? Not her thing in the slightest but used to play ballgames when she was younger on Alderaan.

do they have a speech impairment? how would that translate across paper? None she is extremely well spoken and very intelligent.

what could you do to betray their trust? Lies. It always boils down to a liar to break her trust.

what makes them smile? Wolffe. Little things like acts of kindness, seeing loved ones, looking after animals she loves animals, sun rises and sunsets especially on Alderaan.

If you had to choose something to make them go all john wick, who would it be? Loved ones being hurt.

do they swear? in what language? Crystal tends not to curse but if she does it will be in Mando’a as per her fathers roots. She will sometimes curse in basic.

how comfortable do they feel around strangers? She is very comfortable around anyone.

are they extraverted or introverted? Abit of both but more extraverted.

do they stand straight? what is their posture like? Crystal stands very straight as she is only 5”5 she uses her strong posture to attempt to make her taller.

what is their sleep schedule like? Not long after her mother died she hardly slept and since being with Wolffe her sleep patterns have improved immensely.

would they consciously invade someone else's body space? even a stranger's? Crystal holds the acceptable distance, she only gets closer with Wolffe.

how do they feel about contact with other people? do they flinch? Crystal is quite a touchy person when it comes to Wolffe and her family / friends. However this will change come part 2 of chapter 9 she will be nervous around others and will flinch at any sort of contact- even from Wolffe.

are they the first to hug? Depends on the situation. But yes when it comes to Wolffe.

what would make them kill / stop them from killing? Her morals. She won’t harm anyone it’s not in her nature but if push comes to shove and it’s for her loved ones, this would cross her mind.

how do they smile? do they have dimples? Crystal smiles with her eyes as her own smile is not very wide. She has no dimples.

what about their teeth -- braces? sharp teeth? dentures? yellow teeth? what about spots? Crystals teeth are straight and white.

how do they get others' attention? clear their throat? punch them? A small clearing of the throat. She might playfully punch Wolffe in the arm if she really wants his attention lol.

do they talk with their hands? Yes quite often especially in the senate.

what is their final goal? To be fully happy and to let go of the guilt she carries regarding her mother.

how would they describe happiness? A warm content feeling deep inside when she’s with Wolffe or loved ones. I don’t think she will find this until the birth of child.

what is their biggest conflict? That her mothers death was not her fault and she isn’t hated by not being there.

how do they react to death? Isolates herself, can stay quiet or can go off the rails.

do they cry? how do they cry ? One of two ways. She will either cry quietly let one or two tears roll down her cheek or she will sob loudly and scream out her pain.

how do they react when someone else is crying? can they comfort a stranger? Her words can be calm, a kind hand upon the shoulder and if she is close to the person she will hold them.

how are they around pets? are they allergic to any? Crystal loves all animals she had tooka cats when she was younger and would love another, she just has to persuade Wolffe as he doesn’t seem to be a huge fan.

following up, do they have allergies? Yes to pollens and animals but still loves them, she takes antihistamine meds to help with this.

do they take off their shoes going into a stranger's house? would they offer to do the dishes? Yes and yes. She was brought up with very good manners.

do they call strangers by their first name or title? Both it depends on the situation.

how do they show fear? trying to hide it? shaking? etc. Sometimes it shows in her eyes or you can hear it in her voice. Her body trembles sometimes.

what is their impact on other characters? She has a very big impact, maybe due to her kind nature and soft heart every person she comes into contact with leaves happy and smiling. Her eyes and smile capture them and her personality keeps them around.

how could any of these change by the end of the story? By the end of part 2 of chapter 9 we will see become very nervous , scared to be touched even by Wolffe, she will not be as friendly and close in on herself but I don’t want to reveal too much.

What’s your favourite thing about Fives?

Okay, now we're getting some hard stuff.

What is my favorite thing about Fives?

Well, if I take away all the superficial stuff and dive a little deeper, I would say it has to be his relationships with his brothers. He interacts with so many of them, and he either leaves a piece of himself with them or keeps a piece of them with himself. I just love it, all their interactions and nuances in relation to each other.

This is ignoring all my headcanons and based purely on the show. It's going to get a little angsty, so I'm putting it under a cut.

Fives and Domino Squad

Domino Squad always had their differences, but from the get-go Fives was always protective.

Fives and Echo

The unoffical "Domino Twins" and BFFs of the galaxy. Practically inseparable. A well-oiled machine. Completely in sync. We never see them apart until Echo "dies".

Fives and Rex

This man has a holo-picture of himself, Cody, Echo, and Fives. Fives and Rex had an incredibly strong relationship that began on the Rishi moon and ended with his death. He loved Echo and Fives like sons. In his chip-haze, he uttered Fives' name to Ahsoka because he finally understood.

Fives and the Cadets

Fives and his speeches are some of my favorite parts of the show. He doesn't know these kids. Heck, he doesn't even know if he's going to survive this fight. But he does know that these cadets are the future of the Clone Army and his brothers. He treats them exactly the same as he would treat any other brother, with honor and respect.

Fives and 99

While other clones scoffed at 99 for being defective, Fives didn't. He saw a trooper trying to do his duty and fight like he was created to. I truly think 99's sacrifice was an inspiration to Fives moving forward.

Fives and Jesse

He literally almost died trying to save the entire battalion. I mean, they came as close as you can get to dead. They faced a firing squad together, and Fives is still making jokes. I don't know if there's anyone I would take a firing squad with, just saying.

Fives and Kix

They don't have a lot of interaction, but there is a reason Kix has this look on his face. There is a reason Kix missed. There is a reason Kix's expression was zoomed in on. There's definitely a relationship here behind the screen that we aren't privy to. Fives also goes to Kix during the chip arc because he trusts him.

Fives and Hardcase

They just met and immediately got into so many shenanigans together. The whole climbing the tree scene was priceless, and such brother energy. Stealing the ships and flying around in them like a bunch of idiots? Hilarious. And then Hardcase giving his life for Jesse and Fives to escape? Heartbreaking.

Fives and Tup

Fives definitely took Tup under his wing starting in the Umbara Arc. Fives even calls him his "best friend". Fives doesn't hurt Tup after he shoots his jedi, he restrains him because he doesn't see what happened at face value. Fives then requests to go back to Kamino with him. On top of that, he refuses to believe the Kaminoan's BS about what happened and does his own investigating.

Fives' Ultimate Sacrifice

Doesn't matter which way you slice it, Fives died trying to save and protect the only thing that mattered to him, his brothers.

Hope you all enjoy. I'm kicking off my winter break with some Kix feels that came to me at 2am last night

Kix is already his average amount of tired at the beginning of the campaign when they land on Umbara. Standard medic duties and all that.

And then the battles start.

And the deaths begin.

And they never stop.

Things take a nosedive the second the General gets called away. Kix is so stressed out. Rex tells him they have to leave people behind so they can make sure they don't die themselves. They argue about it, but he knows his Captain is right. He wishes it could be otherwise. Later, he'll reflect on just how much Rex must have wished that, too.

He snaps on the battlefield and Tup has to wrap his arms around him, pinning his blaster down, just to get him to stop shooting at the weird plant thing he goes off on. He doesn't want to fight; he just wants to heal and help.

He can't say it was completely out of nowhere. This shadow planet is messing with him. Add in the events of the battles. Sprinkle in the tiredness getting worse. It was a perfect recipe for mental disaster.

They get a small chance to rest. The few moments he isn't helping stop more death from injuries, he's helping stop more death by aiding Fives, Jesse, and Hardcase. He gives Hardcase a thumbs up as they head out.

All he can do is hope they succeed.

Still more death. Brothers are dying in droves from injuries in the medbay. One of his oldest friends sacrifices himself while he's in there. His other oldest friend breaks it to him when he returns.

Kix refuses to follow Jesse out of the medbay and take a rest. His grief gnaws at him. He keeps his bucket on and continues about his duties. Nobody says anything to him.

The makeshift medbay is simultaneously overwhelmed and overwhelming. His hope is beginning to smolder.

Things get worse. He commits treason by not shooting Jesse and Fives. All he can manage is a small smile: they'd all been on the same page about that, at least. He witnesses Waxer die from friendly fire mere hours later. More treason is committed when they arrest Krell.

There's no time to process any of it. More and more death and injuries. Krell finally dies, but not before he's done irreparable damage to the legion.

And Kix is so tired. So done. So hurt. He is but a medic who loves his brothers with his entire being. He has been forced to leave people behind, watch them suffer, done all he possibly could (though it never feels like enough), and for what? It's all fallen short.

He grieves.

For Hardcase.

For all the troopers they had to leave behind.

For Dogma and his unknown fate.

For Rex and the extra stress he went through as captain.

For each and every one of them who lived a moment in the campaign.

They get back to the ship and things don't magically get better. The post-campaign treatments are higher than ever. Morale is at its lowest. Medics are at their most needed. Leadership gets sent off to Kadavo of all places.

And Kix remains tired. Umbara wore him to the bone and he just has to keep going. Live to fight another day, the voice of Hardcase in the back of his mind keeps encouraging.

It's hard. But he does. The exhaustion seeps further into his bones but he keeps going. Keeps caring. Keeps helping. Keeps pushing through the tiredness. And before he knows it, Jesse is being promoted to ARC and Fives is asking him for some help at 79s.
