okay but like,,,,,first time dad Bakugou giving his baby their first bath after coming home!!! you’re fluttering around the kitchen, trying to make sure you have your daughters towel ready, her baby safe soap, a tiny washcloth, that her teeny tiny pajamas are in the dryer.

it’s only when you take a second to ask Bakugou something do you finally just—pause. your gaze instantly softens, a lovesick smile inching on your face as you watch your big buff pro hero husband hunch over the kitchen sink.

your daughter is resting in the baby bath seat, lilac colored and reclined back. she squirms when Bakugou lets the warm water run over her naked, fat little belly. her face scrunches at the new sensation, fists balling up against her chest. he coos at her, gentle,

“I know, ya little princess. Feels weird on ya, doesn’t it?” he asks her, voice so small under the running water. he cups his hand, holds a handful of water, tilts her fat cheek up to let it slide in her neck rolls that always smell like milk. she whines at that, sniffles and hiccups before she cries. you go to take a step forward, to console her, but Bakugou is so patient.

“It’s alright,” he kisses her tears away. “Daddy’s just tryna help you.” he runs the water all over her body, and paired with his softly spoken words, does she finally quiet after a few seconds. her little body trembles with the aftermath, pouty lips puffy and he can’t help but smooth his hand over the softness of her face.

“Yer a crybaby, just like your ma.” he whispers to her, grinning when that breaks you out of your stupor to smack him on the shoulder. you both laugh at that, and you finally feel the peace that is your little family. you lean against Bakugou’s shoulder, pressing a kiss to his jaw before looking at your daughter again.

“You’re gonna be a great dad,” you mumble into his skin. he doesn’t say anything, but you can feel his shuddering breath, and the calmness that blankets the rest of your house.

i’ve been binge playing l&ds (what a surprise lol) and reading lots of zayne things+doing story dates and he’s the sweetest soul. big rant/list of zayne things

everyone is very intimidated by him as he’s regarded to be an amazing doctor but acts very coldly and is ‘emotionless’. but he skipped many years as he was ahead of his classmates so had little to no opportunity to make close friends. those close to him say that he’s very easy to get to know and get along with. they deeply enjoy his company. he spends his days off with his older patients as their family members dont tend to visit them. the whole reason he pursued this career path was bc of mc and he gets very worked up over not being able to save others (thinking of mc- he has frequent nightmares of losing you). when you don’t respond to his messages, he becomes afraid and constantly messages you things that reminds him of you- telling you he misses you too. he takes his role as your primary care physician very seriously and when you disobey doctors orders, he tries to give you a cold shoulder to teach you a lesson but finds it impossible ignore you. he references warmth when talking to you and how you can easily warm him up. if you tell him about a drama happening and you need comforting, he’ll say that to make him feel better, all he has to do is see you. even if it hurts him, he uses his evol to help win plushies and make you things out of snow to make you happy. he has a soft spot for cats and likes making origami. he really really likes sweets so much so that he gets occasional toothache. he likes cooking and will cook for mc no matter when. even if he’s tired, he’ll take time out of his day to spend time with mc and make sure you’re safe.

Update on Nonviolent Communication!

Hi guys, just coming on here to say that part 14 of Nonviolent Communication will be up this week!

I was hoping to update this weekend, but I had a family thing going on (nothing serious, just something that required my time and attention) and that took away some of my writing time.

I was also a little behind with my writing since I was feeling off earlier this month, so I was simply not in a writing mood on top of having other responsibilities to take care of.

This month has just been weird for me but I'm back into writing!! As I mentioned already, I was truly hoping to update this weekend, but at this point, it's Sunday evening, past 9pm, for me and I still have a lot to write despite spending all of yesterday and today writing. Plus, I still have to edit and you guys know my latest chapters have been 20k+ words (chapter 14 is no different - I'm already past 19k words and there's still a lot for me to write 🫣), so editing takes a hot minute for that reason alone, but also because editing is usually where I do my magic ✨

So, I don't want to rush this chapter and sacrifice the writing quality since that's something I always strive for.

Plus, my plans for this chapter changed! I had an outline for this chapter ready, knew how it was going to end, and then it kinda led to something else and now I have a new ending... 🧍🏻‍♀️but I'm more than happy with this ending!!

So, that's the update! Just wanted to let you guys know I haven't forgotten about NC and that I hope to be back on here more this week going into May. Also, thank you for being patient with me! I really appreciate it and I love you guys! I hope you all have a great week!

i think the actual disconnect between nie mingjue and jin guangyao is that nie mingjue is dying and knows he's dying and has to stick so so so closely to his morals and virtues or else it'll have been for nothing and then he'll have to come to terms with the fact that maybe he didn't actually have to die after all vs jin guangyao who wants to live, he wants to live and be safe and have all the things he was told he could never have-was told he was never good enough to have-and will do almost anything to make it so. and these are two like irreconcilable point of views right (and both Correct and Wrong at the same time) and so they can't understand each other because they aren't even having the same argument and neither of them can see that
