So yesterday I watched all the historical scenes of Crowley and Aziraphale in chronological order and then feverishly came up with a new interpretation of the "you go too fast for me Crowley scene" so here it is:
Ok so now we know from season 2 that the Dirty Donkey pub where Crowley holds his heist-planning meeting is right across the street from Aziraphale's bookshop. This means that when Aziraphale goes to meet Crowley in his car he literally just walks across the street, but it also means that when Crowley offers to drive Aziraphale somewhere he isn't offering to take him home. The previous implication of that interaction was that Crowley was going to drive Aziraphale back to his bookshop, but Crowley knows that the bookshop is only a 30 second walk away so that's obviously not the case. In fact, Crowley doesn't actually ask Aziraphale if he wants to be driven home, what he actually says is "can I drop you anywhere?" and then "I'll give you a lift, anywhere you want to go".
So now we know that Crowley isn't trying to drive Aziraphale home, the conclusion we have to draw is that he's asking him if he wants to go somewhere else with Crowley. This is kind of a covert way of wording things, but Crowley is still testing the waters at this point in their relationship. He pulled this same tactic in 1941 when he said he would give Aziraphale a "lift home" and then ended up taking him somewhere else which led to them spending the entire evening together. "I'll give you a lift" has essentially become code for "let's hang out". This also explains why Crowley looks genuinely disappointed and upset when Aziraphale turns down his offer (and why Aziraphale acts apologetic about it).
But, considering that we know Aziraphale has fallen for Crowley by now AND that they went out together in 1941, why the "you go too fast for me Crowley" line? My explanation is this: in 1941, Crowley nearly got in big trouble with Hell simply for having been seen with Aziraphale, and not only did he not seem that bothered by it but he is now asking Aziraphale if he wants to go out again even though they've both been directly confronted with the risk this poses for him. I think it scares Aziraphale that Crowley is willing to risk so much just to spend time with him - he's not ready to confront the truth of what that means yet, and he's also not yet at the point where he'd be willing to take the same risk with Heaven. As usual, Crowley is a step ahead of him in terms of his commitment to their relationship, hence "you go too fast for me". Keep in mind that Aziraphale was very caught up in the moment in 1941 and has had a lot of time to reflect since then about the potential consequences of a relationship with Crowley, and he's just not ready yet even if he definitely wants it.
As a side note, I think it makes a lot of sense that this is the point when Aziraphale agrees to give Crowley the holy water (and why Crowley is more determinedly seeking it in the first place), because now both he and Crowley more fully understand the the danger Crowley will be in if Hell finds out what the two of them have been up to.

season 3 starts. normal pan of The Street in soho. Nina is bussing tables. Maggie is opening a shipment of records and excitedly sorting them. Muriel is answering the phone, and while they’re wearing markedly more human clothes than we previously saw them in, the conversation they’re having with the other end of the line is unsurprisingly cryptic and/or misunderstood. We see a pale hand with a black sleeve take the phone and hear him mutter something along the lines of “fuck off” before slamming the phone back on the cradle. there’s an immediate cut from his hand to a startlingly similar one- but with a white sleeve instead. he’s tracing a familiar black car parked on the curb with tentative fingertips like he’s trying to summon a memory.
The bell to the bookshop rings and the door closes absurdly loudly in the silence. “Hello!” Muriel cries, reaching for the man behind them. He’s turned away, arms full of books that don’t really need to be moved but it gives him something to do.
“We’re closed,” he says vaguely, adding quickly “Indefinitely.”
“That’s a shame.”
Crowley drops the stack. The books clatter to the floor in a deafening heap. Muriel makes a noise like it physically hurt them
Crowley turns to face Aziraphale. It’s an awkward, stumbling moment of silence.
“I suppose you’ve come to take me to heaven, then.”
Aziraphale smiles. “No.”
“Why not?”
“I don’t think you’d like it.”

wait shut up. i’m rewatching hannibal again and i think im being delusional (or like crazy slow.) but lemme cook rq.
in mizumono, when will sees alana on the floor, she tells him that jacks inside. and will INSTANTLY takes his gun out. and earlier at him and hannibal’s ‘last supper’, he said it was necessary for jack to die.
so could this be…will going in the home with the intention to kill jack and only jack? because i don’t think his gun is directed towards hannibal. wills already stated that if he were to kill hannibal, it would be with his hands. he wouldn’t hide behind the gun. besides it’s evident that will has strong feelings for hannibal at this point.
so if this is the case, it makes the scenes leading up so much more devastating. because will wasn’t there to hurt hannibal but instead to aid him. will is showing that he’s on hannibal’s side, he’s already made his pick. the fox has come to help, but not to help the rabbit. which makes everything so much more of a misunderstanding.
and it makes hannibal’s actions all the more heartbreaking.
hannibal is under the impression that will had chosen jack over him, but will has been on his side all along. hannibals just too blinded by heartbreak and betrayal to notice..

those past few days, i’ve been thinking over and over about the tiniest crumbs of closeness frenchie offers to izzy in those three episodes
the way frenchie holds izzy’s gloved hand as soon as he starts crying, even if fang is already there, hugging the small man the best he can, giving him warmth and solace. and then, frenchie leans on izzy’s leg in the red flag jail, when, by now, the crew has already accepted their fate with resignation because having a deadline is much better than what they had before. and at this moment, frenchie naturally leans on him to let him know he’s there, his head propped on izzy’s thigh, comfortable enough to do it. frenchie’s not afraid of him. none of them is undoubtedly frightened of izzy, who not so long ago despised every one of them, every one of the useless pirates of stede fuckin’ bonnet’s dysfunctional crew, because now that specific man is the only one keeping them from being swallowed by the kraken
i like to think that despite the locks keeping that box in the back of his head closed, frenchie can’t lock far away the hurt of seeing someone he cares about being abused even more. now, the only comfort he can give is that unspoken intimacy, those untold words, and that warm touch reminding izzy he’s not alone in the pile of shit life reserved for them

I'm a little busy, but I made this quick because I can't stop thinking about Missa away from his sweet, warm home, missing his family, alone, curled up on the floor of the hole where he hid, in the dark, crying, shaking with cold and fear, hoping not to be found by that demon he thought was his friend… dreaming of Philza's soft touch… wishing he could hug him again… just… I can't, I'm not that strong… Just think about how he wish his children are safe… just think how he remain like this until CC Missa, log in again (which could be tomorrow or in two months)… I can't… my poor baby…
