Could you please write me a poem about being utterly lost and then once again found?
Hello Lexi, my apologies for responding super late, but please find a poem below. 🙂
In midst of the darkness I roamed those forsaken streets,
the pavements and pathways where you had once treaded upon,
in hope I will recall and remember every little bit of you,
that had then been a part of me.
Nights do not engulf me anymore yet the darkness never leaves,
this is the confession I have come to make, I am lost, so utterly and so brokenly;
within your memories is found my only relief,
for your absence is too arduous for the fragile heart.
Within this mess I am buried under, yet there is a hope, of being found,
perhaps, by none other than you,
at a certain time, at a certain moment,
nothing could be any better, for my heart has faced way too many splinters albeit patiently,
and now the patience is running out, for who knows if even the time itself is running out too.

Happy Valentines, Akira.
Happy Valentines, Asshole.
If you can’t read what Akechi’s secondary inner-dialogue says cause I obscured it too much behind his regular dialogue, here’s a transcription in panel order:
Hello, you fucking-
Ah- Hello, Akira!
Fuck off, why should I tell you-
Just a soda- there’s a new flavor.
I don’t want your shitty gift.
Oh- haha! You’re so sweet.
I hope I choke.
They’re lovely, thank you.
Like hell.
Likewise.
There’s no way it’s just a coincidence.
Still though, it’s a funny coincidence.

Creators I love you but it's time to wake up
Among rumors about our tumblr user data being sold off to Midjourney/Generative AI, recent Extremely transphobic events (that have been ongoing) coming to a head, another extremely concerning internet censorship bill being pushed in upper levels of government, and a general air of frustration over how the site belongs to and is operated by perhaps the second stupidest CEO (second only to twitters own) of our age, I'm very done with the last few vestiges of what the old internet held for artists.
And if you're reading this, you probably are too.
I know we're tired. We are all tired. It is not always viable to pack up shop and move, again and again and again.
From tumblr to twitter to anywhere else we've ever grown up posting, things no longer work. Our audiences are kneecapped by aggressive and hostile algorithms, our reach is abysmal - if we aren't shadow-banned or silenced for one (transphobic) reason or another, we're thrust into an ever growing pit of hostility where the only thing that drives clicks is fighting and contention.
We're tired. We're so fucking tired. We aren't businesses, we aren't content mills, we cannot keep this pace that modern social media has set for us, to wring every ounce of creativity out of us to profit from and leave us rotting.
The key to staying afloat here, and I cannot stress this enough, is to stay connected to your peers.
Pack up and move as units if you must. Exodus from the sites that are killing us. Push your entire friend group of artists to move from one site to the next that promises you a kinder experience.
Art drives movements, it drives change, it is all that encompasses being human. If you take that away from the shitty places, they will be left with nothing but a cesspit of inhumanity and the people who follow you will be more incentivized than ever to move with you.
Yes, this is terrifying. There are no guarantees. There never was, and never are, and never will be.
But stay connected. Stay human.
Support each other and be willing to hold hands and jump when we all - as a group - need to jump from the flames we're all trying to convince ourselves wont kill us before rescue comes.
Rescue isn't coming, rescue will be found hand in hand with each other. I'm offering you my hand, please take it. There's always a new start, there are always helping hands reaching for you. You have to look up from the doom-scroll long enough to see and take them.

Given that my post about why you are not obligated to blog about Current Events (whatever they are at any given time) is going around again, I'd like to say the same thing from a slightly different angle and state what you ARE obligated to do.
You are still not obligated to blog about ANY specific subject, no matter how serious, no matter how urgent, no matter how grave. You never will be. The impact of social media on real world atrocities has the potential to be great, but it is cumulative. No one is going to die in a ditch somewhere, barely uttering the tragic final words, "if only...if only...tumblr users wormhentaiafficionado and mothmanbutthole...posted about how sad they are...then maybe things would be different..." - nor are policymakers going to change their minds because some tweet has 749,845 cumulative likes and retweets instead of 750,000. Make no mistake, if you have the energy to be sharing these kinds of things, it can be good to do! We live in a society, it's always good to help where you can, even if all you can do is show public support for people who are hurting - but if you can't do that, for any reason, you're not obligated to. Period. End of.
What are you obligated to do?
1. Give people the benefit of the doubt. Social media accounts are not most people's entire lives. Just because someone isn't blogging about whatever tragedy is occurring does not mean they don't care. Sometimes it does mean that, sure, and that sucks - but not only are you not going to change that by yelling at them, sometimes it means they care too much. Sometimes it means they're closer to it than you assumed and need a moment to think about something else, anything else. Sometimes it means it's not safe for them to be blogging about it, be it due to abusive family potentially finding out, being at risk of getting fired and quite possibly dying of poverty sooner rather than later, or even taking very illegal direct action that they do not want to be linked to on record in even the vaguest possible way. Sometimes it means dealing with it is their day job and they're on the internet after a long and exhausting day of trying to make things better. You don't know. You'll never know unless they decide to tell you. No one owes you that explanation. You are obligated to make peace with that fact.
2. Slow the fuck down.
Listen. When bad things happen, from natural disasters, to manmade horrors beyond our comprehension, it's only normal to get scared and desperate to do something, anything about it. That heightened emotional state is very vulnerable, and because of that, there will always be people out there looking to take advantage of the chaos for ulterior motives - and no matter how good your intentions, and in fact no matter how right you are in your values and at the core of your strategy, you will never be immune to garbage-in-garbage-out. Misinformation can be deadly, even in the hands of someone who means well. You need to pause long enough to sort out the garbage. You need to learn to fight the impulse to trust every single post that tells you that your share/comment/etc. is URGENT and WILL mean the difference between life and death for someone, somewhere. Do your fact checks. Scan for dogwhistles before you end up passing around a post that implies [insert group that is marginalized in most of the English-speaking world but has hegemonic power in some other part of the world and is committing some atrocity there] is coming after you next if you stay silent. Vet charity and advice links before you accidentally send scared, desperate, and vulnerable people to a scammer - or worse, hand them over to a honeypot operation or give them a recipe for poisonous "medicine".
Or, to put it another way, you are obligated to make an attempt to stay informed enough to avoid making things materially worse. You are not obligated to doomblog. In fact, doomblogging can be antithetical to your obligation to not make things worse. Choosing neutrality in times of great tragedy and injustice is bad, yes, but you should immediately be wary of anyone who says that simply not blogging about a subject - let alone not sharing a specific post - is inherently "choosing neutrality".
So remember: breathe. Be careful out there. Mourn for the people that whatever atrocity has this or my other post circulating has taken from us or will take from us, and do your best to be kind to the people who are still alive - and remember that kindness includes using social media responsibly.

Howdy, y'all! So my wonderful mutual @raemeh did this really cool fanart of my royalty Swiftli au (the fic for which can be found here), and I had some little design ideas about them in my wips, so I thought I'd post the two of them here! Thank you so much to everyone who's enjoyed it <333

⭐J will be open for asks for the duration of the tournament!! And Galacta is there too, I guess
⭐J seems relatively approachable, but is quick to butt heads with anyone who disapproves of her!
⭐J is an adult in her early 30s, and thus is potentially romanceable, if you're brave (or stupid) enough!
⭐ She's been around a while, and knows alot! Feel free to ask her about anything. Who knows if shell give you a straightforward answer though!

I could easly befriend Kuuya, same luck, almost same dislikes and likes and an equally bad job (seriously if you cant never acept to work at hotel restaurant, this is pure slavery).
On another note what brushes do you use? Ive been trying for months to find a soft brush that doesnt look weird for lights and shadows.
Have a good day/afternoon/night.
Ah, my friends that have done food/service industry part-times all tell me that its the absolute worst, so i get what you mean...!! hopefully your job gets better and you get many many good days in a row!!
this is the brush i use!! I mainly only use just this one brush for everything, its so so good and the artist that made it is equally incredible
mine has some very minor tweaks to suit my habits (i actually tweaked it to be a harder brush lol) but it is essentially the same. though, i also constantly use it in tandem with CSP's default blur tool, if that's something you might want to note
if the situation calls for it, i would also just use the default airbrush/gradient tool for lighting or shadows specifically, and then maybe go at it with this brush for more rendering

hey Genshin artists! i've got a tip for you!
TL;DR: In the current Fayz event in Genshin, on PC you can use the walking stance during time-freeze to "tick forward" time in tiny steps without cancelling the current animation. This can be really helpful for getting good reference photos with unique angles in each snapshot!
I'll be reblogging this post with a more detailed explanation and extra photos, but for this post I'm keeping it short and showing one set of images with instructions.
One note, though: you have to re-toggle walking after each time you "move". So the sequence is like this: Freeze time, take a photo, toggle walking, tap a movement key to unfreeze time, and repeat. You have to toggle walking each time you do this, because after each freeze/unfreeze, you're put back in the default running state.

Do you guys have any contact with a certain vigilante who has guns. Bcs I’ve just had to get out of my home bcs I wasn’t safe there and I heard through the pipeline hood helps out people like me. I wouldn’t ask if it were any other time of year but I might die if I sleep rough now
We can't get in contact with Red Hood directly but we can get you in contact with some reputable places.
Here is a list of shelters that may be able to assist you.
Here is a way to keep warm if you are stuck outside during the winter.
Here is a way to get some food if you don't have any.
