Americano PT. 2 | Jude Bellingham x Reader
Tumblr media
What happens if two individuals who absolutely despise each other are forced to interact after unforeseen events occur?
A/N: my exam took me out and I had the longest nap of my life but here’s part two!! <3
W/C: 3.757
part one
Tumblr media
"No, I'm fine. You know, I get nauseous when we run around the stadium with a full stomach." I tell Luis as he offers me one of his packed sandwiches.
He hums, taking the last bite of his sandwich while observing the streets of beautiful Madrid,  looking comfortable in the passenger seat.
It was match day against Union Berlin, the first in the group stages of the Champions League. We were all pretty optimistic about it.
"Can you hand me some gum instead? It's in the glove box." I point, placing my hand back on my steering wheel as I take a left turn. The Santiago Bernabéu Stadium coming into sight.
He leans over, grabbing the blue packet of gum, quickly removing the plastic foil.
"How many pieces do you want?" He asks, crumpling the foil with his hand.
"Two please." I say, lowering the volume of the radio as we enter the staff parking lot of the stadium.
I notice him unwrapping the individual pieces of blue gum and extend my hand so he can place them in my palm.
"Thanks." I mutter, popping them into my mouth after I manage to find a parking spot.
"When is the team arriving?" He asks as we step out to collect the camera equipment out of the trunk. I make sure to hand him his staff badge, clipping mine to my lanyard.
"Twenty minutes, I think." I say, helping him with the equipment bag. We quickly make our way towards the pitch, greeting fellow staff members. Luis sets the camera up as I check our drafts quickly.
We finally finish taking videos and pictures of the pitch after a few minutes, our staff badges hanging off our necks as we walk back inside to capture the players walking into the stadium.
"Okay, I've posted the Instagram stories. Mind if you take a look?" I ask Luis, showing him the short clips of the pitch and stadium.
"Looks fine, but you know you don't have to get it double-checked anymore. You've been doing this for a while now." He nudges me, expression reassuring.
"I know, just making sure." I say, analyzing the posts one more time. I didn't want anything to go wrong or look particularly weird, plus it would give Valeria a reason to complain about me.
We make sure to get good shots of the squad entering the stadium, following them out to warm up as well. Finally, we get to sit down when the match starts. We update the social media platforms of the club accordingly during halftime, just as planned.
So far, it was still a goalless game, prompting us to have higher expectations in the second half of the match.
Though, the second half isn't that much more climactic, but we all sit on the edge of our seats when extra time is announced. My finger hovering over the 'post' button of a 1-0 ‘X’ post.
Luis and I look at each other anxiously as we get awarded a corner. A commotion starts right before the net of Union Berlin, the ball bouncing back at first, and then GOALLL!
I practically slam the post button, the stadium erupting in cheers along with us. Finding it difficult to calm down, so we can focus on the last minutes of the game. With the assurance that we would win, Luis and I start packing our equipment quickly. It would make sure we could follow the team back into the tunnel and, of course, towards the changing room for the post-match interview.
"Who got Man Of The Match again?" I ask Luis, noticing a smirk form on his face immediately.
"It's Jude." He says, and I look at him with wide eyes, pulling an annoyed face.
"Really? Now I've got to interview him? It's going to explode his ego, like it can get any bigger..." I sigh, following Luis down the stands.
"You'll live." He mumbles, prompting me to sigh again, wishing I could speed up the next few minutes as if it were a boring Netflix show.
Tumblr media
"Tell him to- put his shirt on." I urge Luis, nudging his arm, my hands falling to my side when he shakes his head.
We'd both already been in the changing room, and my eyes had caught multiple half-naked
players. Prompting me to exit instantly. I didn't want to intrude when the guys were changing for obvious reasons, so I walked myself out before things became really awkward. Though, they probably didn't care, I did.
"Why does it matter?" He asks, pushing my head away from his face.
"It's distra- or just say-"
"I'm ready."
I whip my head around, my head almost colliding with a hard chest. I quickly take a step back, a smug-looking Jude looking down at me.
What the fuck was he so tall for?
"Took you long enough." I mumble, rolling my eyes. Trying to pretend he didn't scare the crap out of me.
He scoffs, the ‘Player Of The Match’ award glimmering in his hand as if he's trying to show it off to me.
"Can we just do the interview so I can stop talking to her?" He says, looking at Luis. His eyebrows raising in question.
I click my tongue in annoyance, tapping my shoe against the ground impatiently. I watch Luis nod, his hand coming up to my shoulder as he pushes me closer to Jude.
I turn my head, looking at Luis confused. I mouth a 'what the fuck?' to him, his smirk getting wider as my arm collides with Jude's. A sudden panic and disgust creeping up to me.
"Let's just do it without my face." I blurt, immediately detaching myself from Jude's side, like he's a scorching fire ready to burn me.
I feel his eyes follow me as I walk to stand behind Luis. I fight to urge to kick the back of Luis's leg for whatever that was and just request him to start filming. Glad that the mic was already attached to the camera.
"3, 2, 1.." he counts down, pressing the record button. I try to fake my uppermost enthusiasm when I ask the questions to Jude. Watching his own expression change within milliseconds. It's like he wasn't just begging for the interview to start, so he could stop talking to me.
"¡Hala Madrid! ¡Buenos Noches!" He finally exclaims, raising the award excitedly. The interview finally ending.
The two minutes felt like an eternity, and he'd probably uttered the same sentence about 50 times now.
I sigh in relief, stepping back as I watch Jude and Luis give each other a handshake. We make eye contact for a split-second, my gaze cold as he looks at me with pure arrogance plastered on his face. Walking away to join his teammates, who had already walked out of the changing room.
"Can we go now?" I ask Luis, massaging my temples. He turns around, blankly staring at me. It creeps me out for a split-second.
"What?" I ask, frowning at him, folding my arms defensively.
"Nothing. It's late, let's go." He says, walking ahead of me. I watch him walk away for a couple of seconds, trying to decipher why he gave me that look. His back almost disappearing out of my sight before I knew it.
He walks past a couple players and staff members, them having their own conversations and being loud. Notably, Ancelotti walking with them.
I curse, clicking my tongue in annoyance. I start to walk fast, trying to catch up to Luis, who, at this point, wasn't even in my line of sight.
Suddenly, I hear Ancelotti call out my name, and I turn around like a deer in headlights. Slowly starting to consider leaving Luis in the parking lot, instead of driving him home.
"Something wrong?" I ask, looking at him cautiously.
Was I in trouble?
"Come here." He says, waving his hand. I look to his right, seeing a familiar group of players glance at me. It consisting of Vini, Cama, Aurelien, and Jude, again. Them laughing and banter amongst each other.
"Can you tell your father to call me? I need to speak with him." He adds, looking at me.
I nod, my expression changing to a less confused one, before reassuring him I would tell my dad.
"Then go on, it's getting late." He says, patting my shoulder, squeezing reassuringly.
I smile at him, nodding and glancing at the guys next to him.
"Good game, guys! See you tomorrow." I say, fully in Spanish on purpose, waving and walking away as fast as I possibly can manage without looking crazy.
Luis was getting his ass left here, for sure.
Tumblr media
"Dad! I'm home." I sing, taking my shoes off at the door, quickly storing them away in the shoe cabinet.
"I'm in the kitchen." He shouts back, and I make my way towards him.
"What are you doing?" I ask, seeing him stand in front of the open fridge.
"Grabbing dinner to heat up. You're hungry, right?" He says, and I nod, walking over to kiss his cheek in greeting.
"I'll do it, dad. You should go rest." I say, noticing him already dressed in his pajamas. I take the Tupperware of food out of his hands, placing it on the marble island.
"How was the match?" My dad asks, leaving to sit on one of the bar stools across from me.
"Good- we won." I say, pouring the tomato soup into a small pot. Placing it on the electric stove, before turning it on.
"I saw, Jude really saved the day. Amazing signing..." He chuckles.
My dad wasn't aware of the absolute disdain we had for each other, but I wouldn't want to bother him with it.
"Yeah, I guess he did." I mutter through my teeth, stirring the soup with a spoon. Making sure I don't scratch the surface of the pot.
"Oh! Mr. Ancelotti asked if you could call him. I think it's pretty important, since he asked me..." I remember, looking up at him from the stove.
"Why didn't he just call me?"
"Maybe, because you're always busy? He probably can't get a hold of you, or your secretary forgot to tell you. Which would be- weird." I say, watching him walk away to grab his personal phone off the dinner table.
"You're really calling him now? Dad, it's like ten at night. You need to stop thinking about work."
"It's alright, we're close enough." He says, calling the man of topic as he approaches the sliding glass door to the backyard, walking out.
I scoff in disbelief, shaking my head. I should've just told him tomorrow after breakfast.
I try to push those thoughts away, finally sitting down at the dinner table, putting on a binge-worthy show on the TV across from me. Enjoying my dinner with a can of Coke.
The ending credits of the episode and my empty bowl allow my mind to wander back to the day’s events. It was the first game of many for the Champions League. No doubt, our team would go far, we had a strong team with amazing support. I just hoped traveling while also studying could be manageable, especially this year.
I decide to give my brain a break from thinking critically, taking care of the dirty dishes, and sliding the backyard door open.
"Dad?" I call out, noticing him sitting on one of the pool lounge chairs. He turns to me, motioning for me to be quiet with a finger on his lip. I nod, mouthing a 'goodnight' and wave. He mouths it back, smiling at me. I nod, turning my back and walking up the stairs.
Arriving in my bathroom, I take a quick shower and do my nighttime skincare. Feeling very refreshed when I crawl into my bed, the silk pillowcase soft underneath my head as my eyes flutter shut.
Tumblr media
The atmosphere today at the training center is very off.
Instead of the players looking happy and excited after their win yesterday, they look somber and tired. The vibe is gloomy, despite the sun shining brightly since early this morning.
Especially the younger guys. I didn't know what was wrong yet. They greeted me halfheartedly, unlike normally, and even Jude himself didn't give me one of his daily, annoying, egoistic looks.
I had asked around, and most other staff members told me they noticed the same, so it definitely wasn't just me making things up in my own head.
Maybe, just maybe, nosy Lina had some information.
I grab a tray, walking along the lunch buffet, and getting my food. I didn't want to bother fussing over all the options today, just opting to go for my usual. I don't forget to grab my drink, an Americano, iced this time to combat the September heat.
I look up to find Lina, my eyes finally catching her wavy, dirty blonde hair at our usual table, as I make my way towards her.
"Hey! Haven't seen you today. What's up?" I say, hugging her. I had been busy filming the recovery exercises of the players with Luis in the gym.
"Finished editing the footage you and Luis took yesterday." She says, smiling at me. Moving a lock of hair behind her pierced ear.
"Was the footage usable?" I ask, looking at my plate of food before looking back at her.
"Yeah, good as always. Posted it on YouTube already." She answers, and I turn to her after swallowing my bite of pancakes.
"Was the interview alright? Did it sound like we wanted to kill each other?"
"It was surprisingly good! You two just have that onscreen chemistry." A smile pulls at her lips, the outrageous statement causing me to freeze for a moment.
"Carolina! Don't ever say that again, please." I use her full name, giving her a look of disgust while shaking my head, horrified.
I hear her laugh mid-bite, she practically starts choking on her food. Prompting me to pat her back semi-aggressively. She finally calms down when I bring her drink up to her lips.
"Can I ask you something? It's about something completely unrelated." I say, changing the topic and looking around for any eavesdroppers.
"Go ahead." She says, clearing her throat for a moment.
"Have you noticed the younger guys- are acting a little off?" I say, choosing my words carefully, watching her eyes light up almost instantly.
She definitely knew what was up.
She nods, pulling me closer by my shoulders, and whispers into my ear.
"Apparently, last night after the match, the guys went to celebrate at a restaurant. When they dropped Jude off at his home- and I'm saying just what I have overheard. Someone tried to break into his place." She whispers, and I pull back to give her a bewildered expression.
"You're serious?" I ask, raising my brows.
"Yeah, something about his window being broken and a note being left."
"A stalker?" I ask, taking a sip of my coffee.
She nods, pulling away from me.
"That's what I've heard. Apparently, this wasn't the first time it happened, it being the second time already. The younger players probably feel bad for Jude. They've all gotten pretty close and are probably worried about his, but also their safety." She explains.
Despite the bad blood between Jude and me, I had the heart to feel a little bad for him. I had morals at the end of the day.
"Doesn't his mom live with him?" I ask, recalling what I've heard around.
"She wasn't home, thankfully."
"That's good, at least." I reply, looking away for a moment.
"He'll probably have to start a legal process.." She adds, and I return my attention back to her.
"Where did you even hear all of this?"
"A good gossiper never reveals their sources."
Tumblr media
"y/n, could you come here for a moment?" I hear Hugo speak. The head of PR and marketing for the club. Whom I had the opportunity to grow pretty close to last season.
I place the folders in my hand back on my desk, walking over to him curiously.
"What is it?" I ask, looking at the grey haired man. He's smiling, so it must be positive?
"I'm sure you're aware I chose you to provide content during matches, but also the match preparations this season, along with Luis."
I nod, eagerly waiting for his point to be made.
"I've seen what you and Luis put out yesterday. I'm very pleased so far, especially the interview with Jude. Feedback has been great online. Looked very nice and casual."
"Thank you, we tried our best to create the best content. I honestly couldn't have done it without Luis." I quickly say.
That was true, I don't think I could've done the interview without Luis, even though he was being a little weird about it.
Why was everyone obsessed with that interview anyway? It was just a normal, run-of-the-mill interview I did most of the time.
"Right, extend my praises to him as well. As you know, the CEO of Apple will be visiting us on Saturday. I'd like for you and Luis to capture the moment. Would you want that?"
Meeting the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook?
I would be crazy to refuse.
"Of course, I'm sure Luis would also appreciate the opportunity. Could you send us the details via email later?"
This was definitely a dream come true, especially for tech-nerd Luis. He looked up to these CEOs for inspiration all the time.
After the conversation with Hugo ends, I decide to finally clock out. I walk down the stairs, my bag slung around my arm as my eyes are glued to my phone. Wondering how Luis would react to the news.
I couldn't tell him in person since he wasn't on site at the moment. So, texting would have to suffice.
I reach the last few steps, my shoes stomping against them, finally taking a right at a corner.
Suddenly, my shoulder painfully crashes against another body. My bag falling on the floor, along with my phone which flies out of my hand.
I look up instantly, eyes locking with someone I don't recognize by name, but have definitely seen around. He's dressed in a brown T-shirt with some dark blue jeans, interesting wear for the weather today. He did look a couple years older, something like late twenties or early thirties.
I clutch onto my arm, trying to ease the pain as I start to apologize profusely. I want to be rude so bad, but I hold my words back with everything in me.
I wasn't watching where I was going, but still, he could have heard me stomp down the stairs.
"No, it's fine. It happens." He says, no actual emotions detectable in his voice. I reach down to grab my bag off the floor. Watching him bend down to grab my phone, which had landed on the floor about a meter away from me.
I stand back up, holding my bag with my unhurt arm.
"Here." He says blankly, handing me my phone.
"Thank you." I say, grabbing the device. His cold fingers unexpectedly graze against mine, making me shudder as it creeps me, the fuck out.
I did not like whatever that was...
He was holding my phone right at its base, how did his hands even touch mine?
He looks at me for a second, his blue eyes piercing into my soul, as he then walks off, not saying another word. Leaving me standing there in confusion.
I snap out of my trance quickly, trying to forget whatever that interaction was. Finally, walking up to my car and unlocking it.
Most players and staff had left already. Recovery day was so fun, only because it meant getting off early.
After pondering for a few seconds, I decide to just visit my dad's law firm instead of going home directly. Mostly, because I hadn't been there in a while. I could see him, and work on my essay there at the same time.
Maybe, I could also convince the other lawyers there to give me feedback on my essay.
I connect my phone to the car, clicking on my current favorite playlist and increasing the volume of the speakers. Knowing my favorite songs could keep me company while I drove through the city.
I grab my own set of keys out of my bag after arriving. My dad had given it to me, so I could enter and leave the firm whenever I wanted. Giving me the freedom of not having to knock or press the intercom when I visited.
I insert the key in the keyhole of the front door, trying to twist it. I frown as the key doesn't actually twist, making me wonder if the lock was changed. I pull the key out, inserting it again, and try to twist the key.
I sigh as it doesn't work, looking around to see if anyone is staring at me. Only because I definitely looked like I was some stupid robber trying to break in, in broad daylight.
Thankfully, no one is looking my way, so I continue to struggle with the door. Mumbling some curse words in annoyance, a frown settling in between my brows.
I breathe in, inserting the key again, readjusting my grip on the doorknob as I twist the key. I push the door at the same time, the door unexpectedly flying open. My weight presses against the door as I fall inside, clutching onto the door handle for dear life. My ankle rolls painfully, and I let out a pained wince.
I hear a loud groan as I try to stabilize myself. I raise my brows confused, seeing my dad lean over to ask a guy who's cradling his head if he's alright.
I just slammed the door into a client’s face.
A mortified expression forms on my face as I realize the situation I caused. I immediately walk over to place a hand on the guys shoulder, apologizing repeatedly. My dad giving me the most disappointed look to date.
I glance over to the woman next to my dad, recognizing her within a heartbeat.
"Denise?" I ask, eyes widening in confusion. If she's here, then...
I notice my victim raise his head, a pained groan leaving him. We make sudden, unexpected eye contact. I freeze in shock and confusion, a little disgust following at the realization of who he is.
"Jude?"
"y/n?"

Lover boy - part 3
Warnings: None
Pairing(s): Jeremy Swayman x Fem!Reader
Summary: Y/N Ullmark gets a job with the Bruins as their new photographer. They haven't seen each other in a few years, some things have changed. What happens when her brother's best friend develops a crush on her?
_________________________________________________
It’s been two weeks since I got the job and it’s been everything I dreamed of. I’ve gotten really close with Pasta and Coyle, but all of the boys are great. It was TikTok day and I was headed to the locker room to see who would want to work with me to make some .
“Hey Y/n I heard we’re doing vids for the TikTok today. I have an idea.” He says pulling his phone out of his back pocket. He scrolls to his saved videos and turns up his volume. It was the “you need a hug” trend.
“Yeah, but do you know who would want to do that one?” I ask him.
“Actually, I was thinking you should do it.”
“Absolutely not.” I answer quickly.
“Come on. People need to see the pretty face behind the camera.”  Sway says with a smirk.
My cheeks flush red.
“Fine but only if you do it with me.” I say, giving in quickly.
“That was the plan peeps.” Jer says before walking into the locker room.
I tried my best but couldn’t get many of them to film TikTok’s. After shooting a couple and forcing my brother to film some I had enough to pick through and post. Then it was time to make the one with sway.
He glided out onto the ice to where I was setting up the tripod with my phone.
“Are you ready?” He asked me.
“As ready as I’ll ever be. Ok stand Infront of the camera so I’m able to jump on your back.” I say to him, but he just smiles at me.
“Oh, you misunderstood. I’m going to be jumping on your back.” Swayman said with a chuckle.
“But you’re in full gear,” I said, shocked.
“You got this come on!” He said.
“We can try but if I fall it’s all your fault.”
I scrolled to the sound on my tiktok and put the timer on 10 seconds. I ran back over to stand in front of Jer.
“Alright tendy lets try it. You have 5 seconds to get ready.” I said preparing myself for failure.
He readied himself for the jump and the sound started playing.
You need a hug.
Sway jumped on my back and the second he landed my knees buckled and we fell over, him landing on top of me.
He stood back up immediately.
“Again! Come on we gotta get this.” He said, reaching down his hand, offering to help me up.
_________________________
It took us a couple tries, each of those tries ending in him landing on top of me. But we eventually got one that we were able to post.
We heard laughing echo through the arena. I turned around to see Coyle, Pasta, and my brother pointing and chuckling. As we walked off the ice, they came over to us.
“Guys that was so stupid.” Pasta said, still chuckling.
“It was sways idea. And you didn’t want to be in any TikTok’s so I had to take what I could get.” I responded.
“It doesn’t help that you can hardly stand on the ice without Sway on your back.” My brother said.
“Shut up, its slippery.” I said, laughing.
“If you wore skates out there, you’d do better, those converse have no traction.” Coyle said.
“She can’t skate.” My brother responded before I could.
“What?!” Coyle, Sway, and Pasta asked in unison.
“Your brother is in the NHL and you’ve never learned how to skate??” Sway asked.
“It was never my thing guys, too late to learn now.” I said, giggling at their shock.
_________________________
I packed up my things when the boys went to the locker room and headed home. Around 8 that night I got a text from Jer.
Be ready in 20.

A Bang Chan FF (content warning 18+!!) (smut)
Whipped For You:
Chapter 3: Sweet Sub
Bang Chan POV:
So we eat lunch together talk about our favourite things like movies, songs, food and even talked about fitness. She goes to the gym 4 times a week has a eating schedule and thankful today was a cheat day. But I made sure we weren't having anything too heavy just something kimchi fried rice and chicken with sweet and sour sauce.
Her laugh is so adorable I could listen to her all day. She makes my heart flutter when she calls me Chan. Though I can't help to think if she ever called me other names what I might be like. I imagine her calling me "Daddy" in her sweet innocent voice and oh lord no it's not a good idea to think about that when in tight trousers.
But I can't help it. I keep imagining her under me how sweet and beautiful she would look. Her plumped lips lightly parted panting as my hand become her new accessory. God I want her now. I could take her now if I really wanted to but I can't force that. I need to be patient. Bide my time. Now my legs are crossed tightly.
She's looking at me up and down at the point noticing my body posture has changed. No. I need to take the edge off. "Excuse me baby girl I'm
Just going to the restroom. Don't miss me too much" I wink and run off the toilet that's at the end of my office. I lock the door and unzip my trousers releasing my very hard meat.
I shut mt eyes and fantasise about her. Calling me daddy panting for more. I stop myself for a second. I have a camera in my office maybe I can see what she's up to. Maybe she's releasing herself too. God that would be the hottest thing.
Y/N POV:
He excused himself for the toilet but as he stood up it was very hard not look at his trousers. I didn't realise he was just as turned on as I was. God I wish I could have followed him. I have so many urges to him I would let him take me Over his desk right there and then.
I would let him do whatever he wanted to me. I would scream Daddy and whine wanting more, his hands around my neck would feel so fucking good. God I can't stop fantasising about him. Not like I could do anything. He has a fiancé. Even though it's arranged I can't get him to cheat on her with me. It's not moral.
That doesn't mean I can't fantasise about him though. He might be away for a little while maybe I can take the edge off under the table. I uncrossed my legs under the table and notice how wet me thong was. Thats gonna leave a mark on his leather chair. Great job Y/N.
I instantly start playing with myself eyes shut head tilted back and imaging him ravashing me. I moan quietly so he doesn't hear me. I moan daddy as if he was ontop of me. It was getting so heated I even heard him growl and moan from the bathroom which made me moan a little louder. God I wish he was watching me.
Bang Chan POV:
I check my phone and I was right. This girl was very much turned on as I am. God is she playing with herself. Holy fuck. Should I watch. I put a headphone in as I can hear on these cameras. It picks up every sound. I hear her moan daddy lightly panting. What a good girl she is. Already calling my name without me asking her to.
I wanna burry my face between her legs. Make her scream in delight. Fuck it. I start going hard and rough on myself wishing it was her. I accidentally let out a growl knowing I'm close. She heard me. She must of done. Her moans got a little louder. I stop myself for a second. I had a. Idea.
I quietly leave the bathroom and walk behind her not making a sound. I'm half naked at this point. I bend down behind her and lightly whisper. "Are you daddy's babygirl...wanna help daddy get his release?" She whimpers backs "anything for daddy. Anything"
"Good girl"
I walk around to her front and part her legs harshly licking my lips as if it's going to be my last ever meal. I think she got a fright but she didn't stop me. Oh no she grabbed the back of my head and pushed my face in. Just how I imagined. I kiss her thighs lightly then roughly.
The whimpers coming from her were insane...just as I was about to go in my office phone went. It was my secretary. "Mr Bang you're fiancé is here."
"Fuck sake". The realisation hit her and he legs closed shut. For good.
"I should go. I better get back to ...work. Okay bye Mr Bang"
She ran out the door before I could get a word in. I quickly get dressed in the toilet as My fiancé came in not long after looking annoyed. Her usual. "Why was she in here with the door locked? What the Fuck Chan."
"Calm down. We were having a lunch meeting. It was a performance review. I didn't want any interruptions. Chill."
She looks at me up and down. "You look like you need a helping hand there Channie. You look like you need to relax... I can help you there daddy"
She just gave me the Ich. When she calls me like that it doesn't feel right or good. It's not the same. I reply "nope. Just tired. Look I gotta go to Jisung's floor there's a meeting I cannot miss. Also there's a staff dinner tonight that I have to attend for the anniversary so I'll be home later tonight. Im sorry..." I kiss her cheek and walk out the room.
She scoffs. "So no sex and no dinner treat. What am I marrying you for Chan!"
"Clearly not out of love..." I hear my secretary mumble as I enter the lift.
She looked at me annoyed and flustered.
I will get close to Y/N again. I will.

I hate it when people say that Will being gay “came out of nowhere” or that him loving Mike “is forced”. The Duffers have literally hinted at this from the start of the show. It was heavily hinted between the scene with Hopper and Joyce in Season 1 Episode 1. Yet it apparently came out of nowhere.
Will’s bond with Mike has always been treated differently to the other friendships too, with more heart to hearts and important scenes. To quote Dustin for a second, “you can feel the electricity “. This has always been hinted at but more prominently in Season 3 and 4. Although, arguably, their strong bond was shown in Season 2 aswell.
The Duffers obviously care about this plotline of Will’s love for Mike as they keep including subtle references and clues. Let’s start with a clue in Season 3 Episode 8.
Tumblr media
Here we are, the famous Neverending Story scene. Probably could be overlooked quite easily unless you pay attention really closely. But either way, it’s definitely there.
They decide to pan the camera to a shot of Will in the car, just as the lyrics “Rhymes that keep their secrets will” emerge. Interestingly too, “Will unfold upon the clouds” is the next line, however they left “will” on the end of the shot and subtitles. “Unfold beyond the clouds” starts once the camera changes to a new shot. Once again hinting at Will’s secrets that he’s keeping to himself, his love for Mike.
Onto another clue now from Season 2 Episode 9. This takes place in the Snowball scene where Will ends up dancing with the girl.
Tumblr media
Wow, the Duffers do love their music clues don’t they? Once again, camera shots to Will dancing with a girl, but the camera only focuses primarily on Will’s expressions. This coincides with the lyrics “Every smile you fake”. Therefore, hinting at how he’s keeping up a fake appearance to fit in, when in actual fact he has feelings for Mike. I know one thing for sure, this takes a lot of work to line these scenes up, and editing the soundtrack to the correct timing. All of this for one single plot line too. Must be important!
In conclusion, the Duffers have clearly been adding small hints from the very start of the show, it’s always been there. This is so that the payoff is huge at the end and acts as a plot twist. Which is another reason they’ve kept it going until Season 5. These are just a few hints they’ve used throughout the show, there are many more. Just look at how much effort they went to in order to produce the van scene in Season 4. Overall, these plots did not appear “out of nowhere” and have been planned from the start.

So, how did being Dad to a Boy for five days straight go?
I've been replaying it while on holiday for the Lunar New Year, yeah.
I've always had complicated feelings towards God of War 2018. Hack and Slash / Character Action is my favorite genre of action games so to see the most established western hack and slash move away from that in favor of Dad of Boy's really slow combat with the camera SO DAMN CLOSE TO HIS SHOULDERS like we're playing Resident Evil 4 and seeing websites calling it an upgrade to more "thoughtful" combat really grinds my gears.
I also disliked how Dad of Boy feels so affected by modern AAA game design's obsession with RPGs. There are RPG elements now where equipment has stats to min-max. Every battle ends with XP GAINED on the right side of the screen. There's a leveling system based on the overall strength of your equipment that I really, really hate because it's not actually based on the strength of your equipment, but each equipment's "level" factor (for example, an accessory with worse stats but a higher rarity will give a bigger boost in level than a lower rarity accessory with better stats), and this matters because rather than a measure of how powerful you are, enemy behavior changes depending on the level gap. If an enemy is 3 levels above you with a purple health bar, their attacks deal more damage and become unblockable, rather than their difficulty being based entirely on the raw difference in your stats. I would ignore that anyway and take on some purple HP bar opponents if I could, but coming back to an encounter later with a higher level and seeing an enemy I couldn't defeat literally have behavior changed to become way easier after I caught up in levels (suddenly their unblockable attacks become parryable!) was fucking bullshit. The difference in strength from a level gap should be the strength in levels, not having attacks changed to become easier if you've caught up. Fuck.
That being said, I actually like the story direction Dad of Boy takes, which was many old fans' complaints about the game. They're always like "It takes itself too seriously now, Kratos isn't any fun anymore" okay but the very premise of Dad of Boy is fascinating. The young Kratos would literally grab a random woman fleeing the wrath of the gods and throw her into some gears to keep the gates from closing, the fact that they made God of War 2018 a sequel and not a reboot, where the shadow of Kratos' actions in Greece that led to the destruction of the Greek pantheon and the death of the entire country haunts him, is so damn cool.
I just really, really love the concept of seeing THE Hyper-Murder Man resurface years later as a father and be forced to confront that his sweet-natured son Atreus, who he thought took entirely after his mother, turn out to have the same violent temper and arrogance that he once did.
Sure, Zeus and the Greek gods had it coming the way Odin and the rest of the Aesir currently have it coming, but Kratos recognizing the soul-crushing pain his path of vengeance took him through and wanting to save his son from that, and yet not having the emotional intelligence to connect to Atreus, finally gives him a Herculean battle that he can't solve with his fists.
Shut up about Sony specializing in movie games for a second, Kratos is terrified by seeing even a little bit of himself inside his son, but the only tool he has in this fight is martial discipline because being a Spartan is the only form of self-control he's ever known. Yes ,Dad of Boy being ashamed of God of War the video game sucks, but Kratos being ashamed of being the God of War as soon as he loves someone and sees it affect them is so damn interesting. Control the God of War in his son? Kratos can barely control himself. You wonder where the old Kratos went and then if you stun a Wulver and go for the instant kill Kratos grabs the werewolf by the jaw and rips it in half while building Spartan Rage and you're like "Ah he's right here"
I just really, really like the idea of doing something so ambitious with such an established character with years of history behind him. Old man fueled by parental love really wants to break the cycle of violence when he can't stop breaking necks is an idea I'll always get hooked on.
Plus, Kratos has the smartest man in the world's head hanging from his belt trying to give him dad advice in between telling him the undead are all coming from his left. That's pretty funny.

Transformers: Mosaic #246 - "Can It Get Any Worse?"
Originally posted on September 15th, 2008
Story, Art - Sarabeth Collins
deviantART | TFW2005 | BotTalk
wada sez: A little look at Wasp’s inner life. Wasp was a foil to Bumblebee, based on (and ultimately being mutated into) Waspinator, introduced in “Autoboot Camp”, which this strip is a prequel to. Wasp’s eyes are seen slowly morphing from their original Autobot blue to his trademark purple. The blue robot looks like an Animated version of Glyph, predating her official design by Brianne Drouhard. See below the break for Collins’ original script.
TRANSFORMERS: MOSAIC ANIMATED< "CAN IT GET ANY WORSE?" Featuring: WASP (Secondaries: Glyph, Ironhide, Beachcomber, Bumper, Bumblebee, Sentinel Minor (LOL), Cliffjumper, Longarm (shadow)...all secondaries are silent parts and for the most part are small background characters) Writer/Lineartist/Colorist: Sarabeth Collins (bloodandsteel) (I know, I'm just asking to glitch LOL) Summary: WASP learns the hard way that even though you work hard and strive for perfection, you don't always come out on top... ----------------- PANEL 1 [All we see is Wasp sitting on the floor rocking back and forth alone in his cell. At this time, his optics are not as purple as seen in "Autoboot Camp" but are not quite blue anymore. He cell is dimly lit by the force-field bars...] WASP: (mumbling to himself) Wasp not know what went wrong. Wasp was doing good. Wasp was praised. Wasp followed the rules... WASP: [thoughts narrative] Why have things always been so hard for me? PANEL 2 [We see Wasp as he was many many stellar cycles ago working in a warehouse with Beachcomber and Bumper in the background. He's struggling to carry a heavy load around (moving toward "camera").] WASP: [thoughts narrative] I've always had to work hard to get what I had. I never backed down from a challenge... [half-panel, Wasp is being helped up by Bumper while Beachcomber picks up the part he had dropped.] WASP: [thoughts narrative] No matter how often I failed... PANEL 3 [Wasp and Glyph are studying for what we can assume are Autobot Academy entrance exams. Wasp looks incredibly frustrated while Glyph seems to try to calm him down.] WASP: [thoughts narrative] It always seemed like I just wasn't good enough. I had to be faster,  smarter than everyone else to get by. Being so small didn't help, but I had friends... WASP: [thoughts narrative] Even if I wasn't always easy to get along with. PANEL 4 [We see Wasp as he was at boot camp with Ironhide and Bumblebee. Bumblebee is looking at Wasp warily as he and Ironhide walk by him.] WASP: [thoughts narrative] I managed. I wanted to be an officer with the Elite guard. I'd worked so hard to get there. I felt like my luck had changed. My talents were appreciated by the higher-ups... WASP: [thoughts narrative] ...But it seems like something always goes wrong. PANEL 5 [Wasp is being arrested by Sentinel Minor (LOL) and Cliffjumper. Panel split in three smaller segments. First, Wasp is protesting as he's taken away. Second, close up on Bee's face. Third, close up as Wasp sneers at Bee.] WASP: You can't do this to me! I was framed! WASP: [thoughts narrative, second panel segment] I was framed... WASP: [thoughts narrative, third panel segment] I'll never forgive you, Bumblebee...NEVER! PANEL 6 [Back in his cell, just before his "escape", someone is approaching from down the hall, barely seen in the shadows. It's Longarm/Shockwave.] WASP: [thoughts narrative] Never forgive... WASP: Never forgive....Bumble....bot.... PANEL 7 [Close-up on Wasp's surprised face (looking up, one eye wider than the other), overshadowed by what appears to be Shockwave's silhouette, a red glow from his one eye shining off of Wasp's head and Wasp's eyes are a darker purple than before.] WASP: [thoughts narrative] It's been rough, locked away here all alone. I think I'm going mad. Everything I worked for, gone... WASP: [thoughts narrative] Can it get any worse? SHOCKWAVE: I have a proposition for you...One that I'm certain you'll very much enjoy. WASP: Wasp is...listening... To Be Continued...(in the episode "Autoboot Camp")

Stranger Things and Lighting (Season 2: The Snowball) - Full Analysis (Pt. 25.3)
...tumblr has a limit of 250 content blocks per post. I learnt that the hard way. RIP to the stuff I wrote originally in this analysis. But it’s okay. Because it’s always better written the second time around.
S2:E9 - The Snowball (RIP to my OG draft.)
Tumblr media
Then we go outside and see Joyce and Hopper.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When we come back to Mike he’s starring off and clearly unhappy. Behind him are two cups filled with punch. Two of the same colour together.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then he sees El. She’s wearing pink and blue, just like everyone else. She is perfectly conforming to society.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mike stands up when he sees El. He asked her to the Snowball in season one, he was told he liked her in season one, he kissed her in season one, Troy taught him what he wasn’t allowed to feel in season one along with everyone else.
Dustin, Lucas, Max, and Will: they’re all fine. They figured out how to fit into society and now it’s Mike’s turn.
This is what he’s supposed to do.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But Mike and El look out of place and awkward. They stand out because this isn’t natural to either of them. It’s just what they’re supposed to do.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mike asks her to dance.
Unlike Lucas he doesn’t seem nervous. He’s not stuttering over his words or acting weird or shocked. He’s just asking El to dance.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
El doesn’t know how to dance, so Mike teaches her how. Just like everyone else has been taught to act normal and how they’ve been pressuring each other to, Mike teaches El how to be normal as well.
Because that’s what everyone is telling him to do.
Tumblr media
Just like Nancy reassuring Dustin of his place in society.
Tumblr media
And Will dancing with a girl, because that’s what he’s supposed to want.
Tumblr media
Mike and El dance together. Blue and red. El’s blue bracelet from Hopper on her wrist.
Tumblr media
And then Max kisses Lucas. One her barrette there are two roses. One is pink and one is yellow. It’s nearly the same as El’s shirt in season four.
Tumblr media
We can see it better here when the camera moves slightly. Two roses, yellow and red with green leaves.
Tumblr media
Then we see Mike and El. Mike doesn’t look like we saw Lucas look, or even how we saw Dustin look while dancing with Nancy. This is right before he kisses El, his face is half in shadow, and he just seems resigned.
He’s doing what he’s supposed to do- what everyone has told him he should do. What he should want.
Tumblr media
After Max kisses Lucas, she hugs him. I couldn’t get the picture I wanted of this, but Max’s smile drops as soon as Lucas can’t see her anymore. She hides her face entirely from him. She and Mike parallel each other here. They were the ones that kissed the person in front of them (or are going to) and they’re the ones that have reactions that don’t seem like they should be there.
Tumblr media
And then Mike kisses El, and it’s awkward. Neither of them really seem to know what to do. And even more so, we can see El’s blue bracelet from Hopper in frame.
Tumblr media
As we leave the snowball, we finally get the shot that we’ve seen so many time with Max in season four.
Tumblr media
The light in this shot has changed since we first saw it with Dustin when he entered. It’s dimmer and ominous. It’s very similar to the tone of the snowball in season four.
Tumblr media
And then we flip into the upside down.
Tumblr media
We see the mind flayer hovering overhead.
Tumblr media
Vecna is watching this closely. The Snowball is full of secrets and lies. The kinds are being told and being taught to act a certain way. It’s all about forced conformity.
The Snowball is why Max’s plan didn’t work. Because the Snowball isn’t a happy memory.

To fans of tell tale type games, new one on game pass is worth the DL...
Road 96.
Just played that over 3 days to completion, all but 1 achievement, and I am still considering rebeating the game. It's that good.
(plus, with new game +, you get a few new scenes/rounds not in the first play thru, which makes it different and can kinda cheat quickly thru with all the powers).
It's only like...8-12 hours long, but DAMN IT.
If you like a good layered story, it is worth that alone. One of the best written games ever...
Especially cuz the graphics and gameplay are a little wonky (not terrible, but not finely tuned).
The story is you are a hitchhiker trying to get out of a dictatorship country on the verge of another rigged election, or maybe full on revolution, heading down road 96.
Your goal is to get 6 different people across the border, thru a myriad of options (that slowly whittle down).
Now semi spoilers part.
You WILL fail. You'll get arrested, collapse, or die...at least once. Like, the only way you don't is if you pick the selfish choice EVERY time. Even then, I dunno. Because the game is SO fucking smart, each person kinda almost overlaps in the story with each other (or the main characters you come across), so your future choices on the main character from your past characters changed how they react/share with you. It's one thing to be ONE/A FEW characters influencing a bunch of people, but you're at LEAST 6 influencing those SAME people, and in the future, their choices influence your NEW characters. It's like your past lives effected the main people to the point where it effects your future lives. It's fucking trippy. Can't name too many games that have played out exactly like this.
And I won't go into the story cuz tho the characters are CARTOONS basically, you still feel real humanity in a lot of the dialogue and reveals. There's so many 'WTF' moments, you won't keep up.
I give it a 8.4/10.
(bad controls, especially in the games & camera, really irritated me.)
One of the best story lines of any game of this type. Totally HAPPILY unexpected.
Usually, I don't talk games on here but xbox game pass doesn't count as OWNING the game, so I can't write a fucking review to all the haters crapping all over xbox. This is bordering an interactive movie, but worth EVERY second to watch. It's not a typical GAME game. Get over it.
ps-fav moment? Honestly, when I died/got arrested, cuz I NEVER saw it coming. I was being so fucking cocky thinking the game wouldn't allow it*
*spoilers. It doesn't allow it eventually. Basically, if you fuck up SO many of the first play thrus, it doesn't let your die/get arrested (or so I read. I dunno). I think it FORCES you to fuck up a couple times, cuz they get brought up in dialogue later on...

Here I go again, going on my soap box about a show that ended decades ago and has almost no tumblr fandom presence. I just hope that at least one person will see this and get a catharsis because it sure is a catharsis to write it. Today I feel compelled to get my feelings about Myra Monkhouse in Family Matters out. I feel like I see way too many people say that they find her relatable and say stuff like "Myra is so me!" I really need people to strive for better. Do not strive to be that crazy fucking psycho. Strive to be a Laura. I've also seen a few people assert that Laura is the toxic one in the Laura/Steve/Myra triangle which is patently false. Most of the time Laura just minded her own business and didn't have romantic feelings for Steve, and Myra went haywire on her for even looking at Steve. And then you have the people who claim that they only made Myra crazy in S9 which this is the assertion I would really like to hone into today. Myra was always crazy. Sometimes early on she was straight up crazy but the red flags were ALWAYS there.
🚩 #1 The fact that Myra agreed to be in a relationship with Steve in the first place was a red flag. Steve was extremely open from the start with what the terms of their relationship was. He straight up told her that he would go steady with her but the second that Laura showed any indication that she was into him then he would leave Myra. Myra knew this and agreed to date Steve under those terms. And it would be different if after that Myra was chill with Steve/Laura but she wasn't... she acted with extreme and scary jealousy at all turns which tells me that Myra went into that relationship manipulatively. She went in thinking that she could change Steve like "he's in love with her now but after dating me for awhile I can change his mind" which is such a toxic thing to do.
🚩 #2 Early in Steve and Myra's relationship Myra straight up spied on Steve outside his bedroom window and sketched him in the nude. Yes she did apologize but words are cheap when they are not accompanied by real change in character and Myra never changed. In S9, she's still spying on Steve.
🚩 #3 I mean just watch the way Steve and Myra kiss. 95% of their kisses are Myra forcing herself on Steve. Like i'm saying that he's trying to get away from her and she is physically trying to hold him down and force a kiss on him. How is that relationship attractive to some people. Reverse the roles... if it were a man doing that to a woman then it would rightfully be treated as sexual assault and it is sexual assault on Steve by Myra. And it's so clear that Steve is reluctant to be physical with Myra because his heart is not completely in that relationship and he wants to be with Laura. Myra just stalked him and pushed him into a "relationship."
🚩 #4 Early on before they were going steady and Steve was still trying to avoid Myra... Myra switched schools to be near Steve. It's super weird especially since Steve was clearly trying to avoid her at that time.
All these red flags lead to the person we see in S9. Behaviour does tend to escalate as you get older and that's what we are seeing with Myra. She was always creepy and never respected Steve's boundaries and then in S9 she escalated her own behavior to psycho levels because she officially lost Steve to Laura.
🚩 In s9, she spends the entire time conniving to destroy Steve and Laura's relationship. She tries to get Steve to cheat on Laura with her. She uses Stefan to try and break up Steve and Laura.
🚩 Myra puts a camera in Steve's glasses and then spies on him for 2 months. Her room is so indicative of what a creep she is. The blanket on her bed is just a huge picture of Steve, her wallpaper is just pictures of Steve. She has a TV screen on her wall where she just looks at the feed of her glasses camera and spies on Steve in the process.
🚩 On Steve and Laura's first date, Myra crashed it dressed EXACTLY like Laura and i'm talking about everything from her lipstick to her hair to her clothes. And then Myra straight up admits she did it because Steve loves Laura and maybe if she looks like Laura then Steve will love her. Myra then gives Laura her watch as a "gesture of burying the hatchet," Myra walks out and immediately flags down a police officer and proceeds to accuse her of stealing the watch. All this to get Laura arrested and destroy Steve and Laura's date.
I wish that Steve had broken up with Myra sooner but it makes sense that he would cling to Myra. Steve is not used to anyone loving him that much so he takes it even if it's weirdly obsessive attention. His parents hate him/abuse him, his classmates hate him, Carl is mean to him, Eddie's a bad friend to him most of the time. Laura is the only one who goes to bat for him and is a friend. And then Myra comes along and is the first person to have romantic feelings. I'm not a therapist so i'm not gonna go too far into this but with Steve's childhood it makes perfect sense that he put up with Myra's bullshit for as long as he did.

Sharing some writing advice a friend gave me
______________________________________________
I’ve spent 1000s of hours studying the top 0.2% of storytellers.
People like Tolkien, Rowling and Jobs.
Here’s what I learned:
***
Start with the end in mind
What do you want the outcome of your story to be?
• Reader falling in love with a character • Customer buying a product • Friend laughing hilariously • Investor giving you money
If you start with the end in mind, the intro and middle naturally funnel to that target.
***
Shape your story
Humans gravitate to structure. Luckily there are tons to wrap around your story:
• Hero’s Journey • StoryBrand • Three Act
The goal of a story structure is to let the characters shine through.
The attached image is the actual plot outline JK Rowling created for the 5th Harry Potter.
***
Lead with action
Most people amble on in backstory for 10 minutes.
This is a waste of time.
Find the interesting parts of your story, jump right to it, and provide as little backstory as possible.
***
Make it emotional
People make decisions based on emotion.
But it’s impossible to make your audience feel everything.
Nail down 1-2 emotions and direct the entire story to amplify those.
***
Build a world
Tolkien said: “The story maker proves a successful sub-creator. They make a secondary world which your mind can enter.”
A few tips to create your world: — Use rituals — Define its laws — Create shared language (you don’t need to create a brand new language like Tolkien did!)
Think about all the words you learned from the Harry Potter world: muggle, the spells, dementor, and many more.
Storytelling is how you introduce people to the world you’ve built.
***
Sell the transformation
Great storytelling is about change.
When Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone, he said:
“Every once and a while, a revolutionary product comes around that changes the world.”
He didn’t promise apps or amazing cameras — he promised change.
***
Slow down
Before your story’s climax, pause to force your audience to lean in.
When speaking, stop talking for 3 seconds.
When writing, make your paragraphs longer, add more sensory details, and layer on the drama.
Force your audience to hang on to every word.
***
Build to one moment
The entire story should be designed to amplify one moment.
But what is the moment about?
Change — I once was this, but now I’m this.
***
Develop your own creative process
JK Rowling uses outlines. Stephen King doesn’t.
Neil Gaiman writes every day. George RR Martin doesn’t.
Brandon Sanderson writes best at 11pm. William Faulkner at 9am.
The lesson? Find the method that works for you, but be consistent.

𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝟎𝟎𝟗;  𝐀𝐔𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐎.
𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐘,  BAEKHYUN’s MONOLOGUE  /  이유안— 𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 /  1:47-3:07, THEN 4:13-4:30  /  1 MIN, 37 SEC !!
although the world of entertainment is still rather new to him, there’s something about acting that lee yuan has sunk his teeth into. out of everything that legacy entertainment has to offer to their prospective talents, it’s the one thing that he’s been able to get a firm grip on. singing and rapping don’t make any sense to him, and while he’s not a terrible dancer naturally, he’s nowhere near the level of some of the others who’ve been doing so for many years. that, and well, it’s difficult for him to pick up choreography at quick speeds, and that alone is incredibly discouraging in practice. however, being that he had to don a mask throughout all of his childhood, stepping into the shoes of someone else comes easily to him. it sounds sad, but he’s glad that he’s able to use this “ skill ” to his benefit nowadays.
being the golden child that his parents always dreamed of was a role that was sadly forced upon him, but luckily for him, he performed it with precision and ease — knowing just what to say and when to say it; knowing when to smile or cry to elicit certain reactions from his mom and dad; duping them into thinking that he was interested in the life they had planned out for him for years until he broke their hearts by following in his brother’s footsteps; which was their worst nightmare.
without exactly realizing it, yuan’s been an actor-in-training since he was old enough to form his own sentences, so when an acting opportunity rolls his way despite no longer being a débuted actor in the company, he jumps at it with vigor and drive; wanting — no, needing — to succeed in order to prove to his seniors that he’s capable of focusing, working hard, and delivering solid performances. maybe that’ll be enough for them to loosen the reins they have on him. he can only hope that it’s sufficient. he’s being driven crazy due the solitude he’s been placed in.
though, during said solitude, he’s been memorizing monologues for fun. he genuinely thought he wouldn’t need to use them for a long time, but much to his delight, he’s been proven wrong. now, he stands in front of the camera in anticipation of recording his take; running through his lines internally — words flowing how he learned them. it’s important for him to show off crisp enunciation, as well as a diverse range of emotions, throughout the piece. there’s nothing he’d loathe more than coming across one note. if he’s being frank, it’s pretty easy to do that in this particular clip. it’s from one of the first dramas he considered a favorite, and it’s gratifying to him that he’’ll be performing it now that he’s roughly the same age as the character in the show.
when the time comes to start, he watches as the camera operator raises his hand and does a silent countdown, and in those three seconds, yuan takes a deep breath, and dives right in the second he’s given the green light. “ hi, i’m lee yuan — a trainee within legacy entertainment. today, i will be performing hwang baekhyun’s monologue from ‘ master of study ’ episode two. thank you for your time and consideration, and please anticipate more from me in the future !! ” with that, he bows at a perfect ninety-degree angle, and when he rises back up, he’s already in character; unveiling a totally new expression from before. one that’s smug; angry.
“ 개 폼은. 죽을 힘 다해 공부하면 서울대에 가 ?? 룰을 만드는 사람이 되라고. 그딴 거 누가 몰라서 안 해 ?? 똥통 학교 다닌다고 우리가 그런 것도 모를 줄 알아 ?!! ”
the conviction in his voice is strong; it quivers with a soft passion and the last sentence is a resounding boom. he pauses, changing beat and tone to match the mood of the monologue; trying not to copy the original actor’s portrayal.
“ 우리 학교 애들이 어떤 애들인지 알아 ?? 양쪽 부모 온전히 있는 애들, 반도 안 돼. 학교 땡 끝나면, 알바하러 돌아다니는 놈들 천지야. 지 용돈이라도 벌어야 되거든. 그렇다고, 부모님 둘 다 있는 놈들은 쫌 난가 ?? ”
this portion tugs at his heartstrings, and he uses the emotion to add layers of wistfulness and melancholy to his delivery; softening his speech as he describes, wholly in character, the dire circumstances of the students at the school they attend.
in the actual scene itself, the other character counters him, but being that he’s transformed this into a solo display, he takes another pause; recalling the lines given by the lawyer in the drama to fuel his reaction. there’s a wrath that bubbles within his abdomen — one he knows he’ll have to tend to later — and his blood boils in his veins; doing his best at capturing what baekhyun was going through in that moment while also keeping in mind what transpired in episode one to add depth. he also infuses some of the anger he feels towards his own company for keeping him away from aiden for so long; aiming at making it feel as real as possible with his own touch.
“ 이씨 누가 겁먹는 대 ?! 그러니까 내 말은! 잘 알지도 못 하면서 함부로 지껄이지 말라는 거야 !! 그렇게 할 말이 많으면 국회 앞으로 가든가 !! 찌질한 변호사 생활 쪽팔리니까 애들 미끼로 시선 끌려고 하지 말고, 우리 학교에서 꺼져 !! ”
he sees red, and his lips tremble with rage; hands shaking at the amount of adrenaline that’s zooming through him as he hollers out the last bit with desperation and fury; going big for the finish. it takes him a second to cool down once he’s done, and after a long sigh, he bows yet again; a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth as he erects his posture to face the camera; transitioning back to himself gradually. “ thank you again !! ” yuan concludes, then leans against the wall behind him; exhausted.

Pikmin 3
But that's not fun to talk or write about, no. Nothing interesting or big has happened in my personal life so now is the part where I get to complain about the internet, games, and movies. I finally found the power cable for my Wii U so I've been replaying some old favourites I haven't touched in years. Namely, DKCTF, Shovel Knight, and Pikmin 3. Oh, and the original Pikmin. I was surprised just how much that first game held up. And in some ways I prefer it to Pikmin 3. Since I first played Pikmin 3 however many years ago, I've always viewed it as being in my top 5 favourite games. Now its my top 20. Still a fantastic game and I think it, graphically speaking, looks better than the new one. But man did I have some gripes with it compared to Pikmin 2 and even 1. I used a wiimote and nunchuck and the only thing I can think that it improved was changing through Pikmin types. I can't even remember how you do it in the other games but it felt better in 3. But other than that, everything the changed felt worse. You have to shake the nunchuck to disperse rather than a button. I don't know why in your 3rd game with motion controls you force motion controls. And the game forces you to use the gamepad even if you're using a wiimote and nunchuck. Whilst the "go here" function is neat, I found it a bit clunky. Also, maybe 3 captains was too many. And building the layout around 3 captains made it an annoying obstacle to deal with rather than a fun challenge. Because now that I have 3 people to be productive with, it feels like a waste to have them all together. And a lot of the time 2 captains could manage everything. I hate charge as opposed to directing Pikmin to objects. Not being able to change the camera was annoying. I know the stages were built with that in mind but it was still annoying, especially in combat; it felt like I was never able to master aiming. In fact, a lot of the time the AI felt buggier than Pikmin 2 and even Pikmin 1 at times (apart from pikmin drowning because they're stupid, that's still Pikmin 1's biggest grievance). The pikmin seemed worse at holding onto items and getting caught on walls and stuff. People say that Pikmin 3 is Pikmin 1 perfected but I would disagree. The balancing of Pikmin types is better in the first (and second game, I don't care how OP purple are) and blue pikmin don't completley suck. I still don't really like rock pikmin, they remove a lot of the challenge by not being able to be stomped. Purple superiority! While both easy, at least in 1 the boss' health depletion doesn't stop to signify the next stage of attack. The Marshstomp was the only challenge outside of time management and it sucked as a boss. Pikmin 1's bosses are laughably easy but really quick whilst 3's are just tedious and time consuming. Also, Pikmin 3 is way easier. Electricity was nerfed and rock type were basically impenetrable. But the stages were better. It felt like I was mastering the stage as opposed to 1 where I was just getting kind of better. Both games' boss battles are comparable although I prefer 1's. And I love winged pikmin, good balanced type! Still love it and, ultimately prefer it to 1 because it is a masterable game and the AI is better. It just isn't anywhere close to Pikmin 2.

How's That - Jesse Kanda (2013)
youtube
Love this vid and want to break down a few of the pieces that really stood out to me:
Additional mileage from video warps - softbody sims are hard, so a lot of what I love about this video is getting the most mileage out of existing technical investment with small tweaks rather than additional work. In this case, a lightweight video filter thrown on top of 3D sim activates many more forms out of the initial design. This pattern in digital art of taking novel technical forms and running them through novel functions proves incredibly powerful
Tumblr media
2. Material swaps - an extremely powerful but simple technique is the way that 3D animation can render the exact scene and camera moves with different materials. It's incredibly alien to lived experience and recalls the complex robo-cam shots of 90s music videos, but is foundationally trivial to 3D animation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3. Pushing simulation - the most complex effect in the video is the second half, where skeletal forms seem to move underneath the collapsing figure (in tune with the beat no less). It's very possible this could be done physically accurate with a dynamic softbody sim responding to animating figures underneath (and driving that animation with a filtered audio channel). That said, this would melt computers in 2023 so I think there's really only 1-2 shots where this is actually the case and another few where dynamic pressure forces on the softbody (easier to sim due to no dynamic collisions) are continuing that theme. I call this out 1. for the impressive use of technique in 2013 and 2. the more impressive artistic disposition to understand the limitations of this technique and work around it with the above and below mentioned techniques
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. Hard, Strobed, and Dynamic Lighting - an incredibly important technique in Kanda's work in this period (and many videos of this style in general) is the lighting technique
i) hard lighting - creates a highly defined image, which much in the way highly edited editorial photography of the 90s really accentuates the contrast ratio to give the image a very defined form and sell the realism
ii) strobed and dynamic lighting - incredibly high leverage (impact-effort) technique for tying shots to one another and to the underlying track. It costs significantly less to animate a light to the beat than it is to animate new geometry (much the way it is cheaper to strobe live plates rather than pay for new production design). Likewise for the rapid cuts back-and-forth to shots that are used throughout. In particular the light pans in the second half are a great example of artistic depth getting visual mileage out of exploring the way form changes under subtle light variation rather than requiring a new effect

Saying that Bucky and you were friends wasn’t something exactly. You fought together a couple of times before you retired from superhero life. Like many of them, the war had finished and you chose calm over being a private agent. More or less like the ex-soldier, with the difference that he went to New York and you didn’t be able to find a home until Sam made you a call. He was quite the opposite of Bucky for you, connecting since the very first second you met. After he told you about his sister’s financial trouble, he offered you a roof to sleep under in exchange for your powers to control the tide and promote the movement of fish stocks. Of course, it was a hit, and you finally found peace in Delacroix. A celebration was inevitable, it was part of Wilsons’ DNA, but you weren’t expecting Bucky to show up with Sam; although he told you in your last call that they were working together. Or something like that.
As soon as your eyes laid on him among the crowd, you knew he had changed after more than six months without seeing each other. You couldn't help but feel happy for Bucky when you saw him smiling for the first time. He had a beautiful and innocent smile, seeming like a new man. Renovated, with want to live, enjoying playing with kids and talking to old men about war stories.
You had placed your back against an oak column, away from the crowd but close enough to check on everyone, in case they need help with anything. A beer was resting against your lips, doubting on continuing drinking, lost in your thoughts. There was something about Bucky going from one side to another, laughing unworried, that had fully captivated your attention. You weren't able to stop looking at him, chuckling when you saw one of Sam's nieces putting a magnet with the form of a crab on his left arm.
“I have that teen-in-love's face on camera”.
You frowned at Redwing some inches away from your face. As a response, you tried to slap it down. But your friend was faster than you controlling that thing.
“He looks good, uh?”
“Oh, shut up…” You replied by clicking your tongue and rolling your eyes, having a sip from your drink to put your eyes away to the sea.
“He asked if you'd be here… Just saying”.
“Shut up, Samuel!” You implored, rubbing the bridge of your nose.

As the night went on and the guests started to leave, Sarah asked you to take Jim and Jody home while she stayed there cleaning with his brother about the business. You were exhausted too, and she noticed it. And after saying your goodbyes, you headed to the parking where your car was stationed, carrying the younger Wilson onto your arms —peacefully sleeping— as his big brother was yawning loudly. At that point, you realized that it was going to be a tough mission to put them in the car.
“Wait! Lemme help”.
The male voice coming from behind you made you turn around and before you could react, Bucky was taking Jody from your arms to his. You smirked softly in response, looking for the key in the right pocket of your jacket to unlock the car. The soldier tucked the younger in the back seat, placing the belt around him as Jim occupied the other side of the SUV.
“It's been good to see you”. You said after closing the door, staying outside in front of him.
“Same”. He replied, not knowing what else to say.
Puckering your lips and clapping the key on your palm, you nodded with your chin, feeling the nerves running through your veins. “Good night, Bucky”.
“Good night, (Y/N)”.
You gave him your back, sighing inappreciably, to open the pilot's place and came in.
“He— Hey, wait”.
“Uh?”
“Sam told me… you were tired. I might give you a ride back home. I can wait for him there”. The offering made you glance towards him, already sitting in your car but with a leg rest on the ground. “If you want, I mean…”
Of course he did (...). That son of a bitch had the audacity to push you onto the other. You bit your inner cheek, landing your eyes on the wheel. Yes, you were tired. You woke up at five to sail with Sarah, then you organized the party and cooked for it. You hadn't had a single second of rest during the whole day. And Sam took advantage of it, feeling like he was some kind of Cupido. And you had to recognize that it was also very considerate coming from Bucky.
“I'd appreciate it… actually”. You ended up agreeing, stepping out to give him the keys and ceding your seat.
The ride was silent between the two of you, hearing some quiet indie music playing on the radio while you fought against your brain to stay awake. Luckily, it didn't take him too long to reach Sarah's house —although you were barely keeping your eyes open at this point. Again, he helped you with the kids, walking indoors and following you to their respective rooms. You tucked Jim and Jody on their beds, making sure they were comfy before placing a kiss on their foreheads and wishing them a good night. Bucky had rested his back against the wall, in front of the elder’s room, just waiting for you. And you could swear that you saw him briefly smirking because of the tenderness in your actions.
After closing the last door, you waved your head to urge him to follow you downstairs to the living room. With an exhausted sigh escaping your lips, you let your body fall on the sofa, curling on a side of it to give Bucky some space. You couldn’t help but yawn, turning on the TV by using the control remote.
“It’s good to have a home to come back”.
“Yeah… After all the shitty situations we’ve been through… We deserved a rest, don’t you think?” You replied grabbing a cushion from the floor, using it as a pillow over the armrest. “Sorry, I… I’m deadly tired…”
“Come here, that will hurt when you wake up”.
Bucky didn’t hesitate on beckoning to his arms, taking off his boots heel against heel to place both legs over the coffee table. You didn’t resist, knowing it would be comfier by his way. Sitting up, you lied to the opposite side, being wrapped instantly and snuggled against his warm body. Shameless, you rest your head on his right forearm, practically laying over his lap. But you felt good. You felt like it was a good reward after a long day, rolling down your eyelids and focusing on the caresses in your hair you didn’t know you needed.
For a moment, your mind wandered and fantasized about this last hour being part of your real life. Putting your kids to sleep and then cuddle with your husband till falling asleep. Smell Bucky’s strong and edgy scent. Your hands scratching his back. His fingertips stroking your scalp. Your legs laced (...)
Oh, God, Sam. What did you do?

Can I request a celebrity AU with Elizabeth Olsen and Female Reader? Where R is Vision in the MCU. And like throughout a series of interviews and behind the scenes shots, you can see how the two actually fall in love in real life. And in like the final interview they ask “Are you two dating?” And this time they can finally say yes
Hello darling, how are you? I hope well. This took me a while, and i’m not sure you’re even going to like it. But i hope you do. It was honestly kind of strange to write for Lizzie, i kept mistaken the name as Wanda. Also, i changed your idea a bit, because i could find the right way to write the interviews. But anyway, here it is. Good reading.

Your agent was calling you for the third time, and you thought you should answer before you lost your contract.
Letting out an impatient sigh as you reached for your cell phone, you left it on speaker.
- Hello, Sara. - You say with a slight irony as you relax your body in the water of the jacuzzi again.
- It's not polite to ignore someone who keeps you employed. - she said irritated, making you laugh.
- Sorry, but I told you I was on vacation. - You reminded her. - And what did you keep doing? Oh yes, calling me.
- Don't be so grumpy, woman. - She replied with a light humor in her voice, and you could hear the clatter of keystrokes, suggesting that she was working. - I have an opportunity for you.
You raised your eyebrows in curiosity, but said nothing. And by your silence, Sara kept talking.
- Tell me, have you ever thought about being a superhero?
You let out an incredulous laugh, thinking it was a joke.
- I'm not going to make any weird latex movies, Sara. - You warn her, and she lets out a laugh.
- Actually, honey, it's Marvel.
You blink in surprise, and then turn to rest your arms on the edge of the jacuzzi and look directly at your cell phone.
- What are you talking about?
- Ah, caught your interest, huh? - She remarks. - You actors are all the same, one famous name and you fall to your knees.
- Sara...
- No, it's okay. - She giggles. - They want a openly queer actress to play a lesbian heroine, I think. And then they called me.
- Wow, Marvel doing something like that? - You comment. - It sounds like a lie.
Sara giggles.
- It pays well anyway. - She says, and then a notification pops up on the screen. - I just sent you the script. Let me know if I can confirm your audition.
You let out a sigh before saying goodbye and hanging up, grabbing your cell phone to read the script.
It is the scene description of your character's appearance, and there is also a note for the chemistry test. You bite your lips thoughtfully. You were known in the media for roles in international, indie and cult films, mostly lesbian romance. You had a few academy nominations, and had been awarded twice by the critics. Superheroes were not really what you were looking for. But then you remembered how much you missed having a lgbt reference in media like this, and then you are sending a message to your agent confirming your audition.

Present
You are twiddling your thumbs in your dressing room. It must be the ninth interview in less than two weeks. Letting out a sigh, you stand up, momentarily looking at your appearance in the mirror. The make-up team did a good job, you look well. And then you are walking outside, to the dressing room next to yours.
You knock on the door, and are soon answered. But Elizabeth doesn't smile when she pulls you inside.
- Hey, Lizzie, what's up? - you ask worriedly as you close the door. The next second she's hugging you tight, and you sigh. - You're anxious, aren't you?
- I feel like my heart is going to burst out of my mouth. - She grumbles and you start stroking her back, trying to calm her down.
- Remember that exercise we practiced, okay? - You ask her tenderly as you move your feet so that you move together toward the sofa in the living room. You break the embrace slowly, to sit Lizzie down on the couch as you kneel in front of her. She looks on the verge of tears, and you place your hands on top of hers. - Breathe with me, okay?
It will take you many minutes to calm her down, but you don't care. And then she smiles, and brings your foreheads together.
- Thank you. - She whispers before kissing you. She walks away too quickly in your opinion, but you can't say anything because the producer is calling you next, announcing that the interview starts in two minutes. You smile at Liz before getting up.

Seven years ago.
You had just finished filming your last scene in Age of Ultron when your agent called you. Scrolling your finger quickly across the screen, you answered while your cell phone rested on the table in your dressing room, and you kept your hands busy trying to pin up your hair.
- I'm leaving the studio, Sara, what's up? - you told her.
- I wanted to congratulate you on the affair, although I'm surprised it happened so quickly. - She says and you frown in confusion, finishing up with your bun. You pick up your cell phone next.
- What are you talking about?
Sara giggles, and sends you an attachment. You pull your cell phone away from your ear to look at it. It is a photo of you and Elizabeth, your teammate and romantic partner in the franchise, taken the same day you discovered Liz had social anxiety and took her out for coffee with you to take her focus off the celebrity world for a while. The paparazzi managed to capture the exact moment when you kissed her on the cheek in farewell.
- This is all over the gossip sites as Marvel's mysterious romantic couple. - Your agent commented, and you rubbed your fingers across your forehead in irritation.
- You want me to publicly deny a relationship, is that it? - you ask, walking around the dressing room and gathering your things.
- What? No! This is great for advertising. - she says with slight excitement in her voice. - Especially after the movie comes out! Fans love couples who fall in love behind the screen.
You roll your eyes, switching your cell phone to your ear.
- I'm not going to make a relationship contract if that's what you're thinking! - You say with irritation and can imagine Sara rolling her eyes on the other end of the line.
- Yes, yes, we've been over this, Miss Morally Correct. - She scoffs lightly. - But I really called to talk about the premiere. We have details to discuss.
Sighing, you ask her to wait. Then you finished putting your things away, and grabbed the phone as you walked out the door.

Interviewers can be motherfuckers when they want to be, you thought as you bit the inside of your cheek, trying to keep your face impassive as you watched the woman in front of you list the "missed moments" from the Avengers set. You knew that your agent had talked to the show's staff about the authorized questions, and yet here you were on live television, having to declare whether the timely photos taken on the Avengers set meant that you had a secret relationship with your best friend Elizabeth Olsen.
A slideshow was playing on the screen behind you. There were pictures from the footage, many where you and Liz were laughing together, or having lunch together. There were some where she was sitting on your lap, or vice versa. Your expression softened when you noticed one where she was looking at you adoringly. It was so strange to be an artist sometimes. You smiled politely at the presenter.
- Come on, Ellen, you know how these things are. - You said. - Things are different on camera, Lizzie and I are friends.
The audience let out a chorus of displeasure, and Ellen laughed lightly.
- You know that many of the fans would like this rumor to be true, especially since you two play a couple and you are openly queer. - She says, and you wiggle your fingers in your lap, uncomfortable with where this conversation is going, but you nod in agreement. - Furthermore, you say that the paparazzi cameras are deceiving, but what about the stories you post on your personal networks?
She asks with a chuckle, and then other videos are playing on the screen, and you force yourself to smile and watch.
The vast majority are harmless, and platonic. You spend a lot of time at Liz's house because when she moved in, you were her reference and tour guide, and so you got into the habit of checking up on her. And then you became friends and you spent more time at her house than at yours. There were many videos and pictures on yours and her instagram where you two were tending a garden, playing board games, cooking together, or watching sports.  You bit back a smile as you watched the memories through the images.
- See?It's hard to believe that this is just platonic. - Ellen insisted again, and the audience laughed.  You tried to cover it up with a smile. - But since you claim to be single, we're going to play a game now. It's called "Who Would You Rather?
The audience applauded and you giggled, straightening your posture in your chair. And then the studio screen had a sign with the name of the game.
- It's very simple, you just have to choose which of the artists you would rather. - She explains, and you blink.
- Rather what?
Ellen lets out a giggle, and you understand, nodding in embarrassment. The audience laughs. The picture changes to two pictures.
- Who would you rather, Scarlett Johansson or Chris Hemsworth?
- Wow, that sounds like a trap. - You comment awkwardly, making the audience laugh. And then you bite your lips. - I think Scarlett.
Ellen gives you a suggestive look, and the audience chuckles, you force yourself to imitate them. The picture changes again.
- Scarlett or Sebastian Stan?
You laugh, smoothing your hair slightly.
- I don't know, I think Seb. - You answer. And then the picture changes again, and you want to run away when the audience gives a chorus of excitement.
- Sebastian Stan or Elizabeth Olsen?
- There it is the trap. - You comment clumsily, causing the audience to bust out laughing. You swallow dryly and look down at your lap before saying. - I'd say Elizabeth Olsen.
You played for a few more minutes, and then the game ended with you choosing Elizabeth at the end, which got the audience cheering and celebrating. When the interview was over, Sara was calling you, and you were massaging your forehead when you answered.
- I thought you said you two weren't dating. - She teased, and you grumbled in irritation.
- I thought you had discussed these matters with the staff. - You retorted, slightly irritated. - She only asked me about Lizzie and dating the entire interview.
- Honey, you're America's sweet couple. - She sneered. - Ellen wants viewers and will ask the questions that the audience wants to know.
- That's ridiculous. - You said and then sighed. - Why did you call me anyway?
- I have your new shooting location, so get your coats and jackets ready.

Six years ago, Berlin.
You are laughing at Anthony's imitation of Robert. Sitting in the shared dining hall, you were having a good time over lunch with your other colleagues while you were recording Civil War.
And then you were in scene again, many minutes later, and you found it strange that the nervousness was crossing beyond your character during a specific scene in which you were counteracting with Elizabeth.
You saw her laughing at a comment your character made, and you should have this expression of surprise and embarrassment, but you didn't even have to act it out. Your cheeks reddened naturally at the image of Liz laughing. And then the director said cut when you were done and you were rushing out to clean up your makeup.
Later that day, after the shoot was over, the team wanted to visit a local pub, and you accepted the invitation, ignoring the previous event, and smiling when Elizabeth touched your arm to get your attention.
- A toast to the Avengers! - shouted the camera crew chief when you were all gathered at the bar, you thought maybe he had had too much to drink, but you joined in the toast.
You stood next to Lizzie and Chris at a table while sipping a dark drink that might have been craft beer, or something German.
Your cell phone vibrates with a notification and you choke in surprise at the content of the message. Sara had sent you a note from TMZ, stating that your secret romance with Elizabeth Olsen was threatened because you had been seen leaving a coffee shop with Katie McGrath.
Chris and Lizzie look at you curiously, and you just lay your cell phone down on the table for them to see while you turn the entire glass of beer in your mouth.
- Wow, so your type really is super heroines. - Chris commented with a smile, and you laugh, pushing him away slightly.
- I swear, I can't be seen talking to any woman that she is automatically my girlfriend. - You say irritated as you put your beer glass back on the table. Your gaze returns to Lizzie, who has picked up your cell phone from the table and is reading the news. Then she hands the phone back to you, and gets a strange look on her face that you can't read very well, but she forces a smile.
- At least you cheated on me with a pretty girl. - she says and you frown in surprise. Chris laughs at the joke, but before you could have any other reaction, the rest of the team is joining you.

Five years ago, California.
You gave up fighting the questions about your relationship with Elizabeth. They would happen anyway, whether your agent talked to the teams or not, so you just smiled politely when you told people you were just friends and remained truthful in your statements.
Usually the interviews with Lizzie were easier, because you went into protective mode and your brain was ready to give sharp, snappy answers to keep Elizabeth from being embarrassed.
So here you were on the Night Show, with one of your favorite interviewers, and your best friend by your side. Jimmy was asking good questions, and he was funny. You hoped he wouldn't ask anything too embarrassing.
After many questions about employment, and worldview, which was refreshing, he finally asked you about the rumors of your secret relationship.
- Girls, you know that the public wants to know. - He began with a smile, and you laughed lightly, exchanging a look with Lizzie. - And actually, we have arguments this time.
- Here we go. - You commented with light irony which made the audience laugh.
Your latest posts on instagram were visible on the big screen.
- Last Tuesday, both of you posted these stories on your personal accounts. - Jimmy started with excitement. - And it rocked the internet completely, because the location was visible on your instagram, Elizabeth.
Lizzie let out an embarrassed giggle.
- Well, if the public's doubt is whether we were together there, they can confirm it. - She said, and Jimmy let out an excited exclamation. Lizzie waited for the audience to stop their celebratory chorus before speaking again. - But this was a special celebration, since it was my birthday.
- And I took her on a trip to Mexico. - You completed the story with a slight smile. The audience let out a chorus of happiness and you looked at them in confusion. - Guys, friends do this!
Jimmy and the audience laughed for a moment and then the image came off the screen.
- Come on girls, you're giving us material. - He remarked with a smile. - And you're still going to deny the relationship like you always do, I imagine.
You and Wanda exchange a short chuckle.
- Look, Jimmy, all I have to say is that Lizzie is amazing, she really is. - You saw yourself confessing. - Anyone would be lucky to date this brilliant, spectacular, sweet, fun-loving woman. But that person is not me.
Jimmy lets out an exclamation of sadness along with the audience, but then they applaud your words, and you smile wryly. You risk a glance at Lizzie for a second, and she has slightly flushed cheeks, and looks surprised at your words.
You ignore the nervous feeling at the pit of your stomach, and decide to keep your posture polite as you answer the next questions.

Four years ago.
You had to kiss Lizzie. And then you shook your head. No, not you. Vision. Your character, Vision, had to kiss Lizzie's character, Wanda Maximoff. And you repeated this like a mantra as you walked from your dressing room to the set.
The day you read this scene, you smiled politely at your agent, and disguised any apparent nervousness. And then you spent the last few weeks pretending that if you didn't think about it, eventually the director would make a change and the scene wouldn't even exist. But here you were, trying to have one last drop of professionalism.
You weren't even recording the scene officially, it was just the rehearsal of lines and marking, and you had sweaty hands.
As you walked through the studio, the staff smiled and greeted you, and then you spotted Lizzie and ignored the uneven beating of your heart.
- Let's get started girls. - announced Russo as soon as he caught sight of you. He signaled for you to follow the team's prearranged schedule. You smiled at Lizzie as you took your place. - We can test the order of the scene directly. I need to know which angle is best to have Vision ask Wanda to stay with her.
And then you started recording. And now you were Vision. There was no time to think about how naturally your hand fit into Lizzie's, or how good it felt to feel her hugging you. And then Russo shouted cut again.
- That's pretty good. - He commented, looking at the monitor. - Let's shoot the stone scene okay, then the action scene.
The scene started, and you said your lines the way you were supposed to. And then you were looking at Lizzie, and she kissed you as the script said. You held the sigh in your throat, and pulled away. Vision doesn't sigh, so you shouldn't either. And then you are smiling as written, and the director closes the scene again.
You were getting pretty good at hiding how affected you are by Lizzie the more you kiss her onstage. And then you wrap up the day's shooting, and you are mentally exhausted. You want to sleep in your dressing room, but you decide to go home.
And as you are walking back to your car, Lizzie calls out to you.
- Hey, partner. - She greets me by walking beside you. - Don't you want to go for a drink tonight?
You let out a sigh, ignoring the urge to shout that you would go anywhere with her, and thinking about how tired your body is.
- I'm exhausted, Lizzie. - You tell her, and she looks upset, but you add with a smile. - But I'll take it if it's something at your place.
Lizzie's face lights up quickly, and she nods, and then says she'll leave something in her car. She returns when you are already in yours.
- All set? - You ask to confirm, and she smiles and nods. And then you start the car and drive out of the studio.
Lizzie turns on the car stereo a moment later, and you begin humming the song.
- You've been distant lately. - She comments distractedly as you drive away. - You know you can talk to me, right?
You smile, ignoring the feeling in your stomach.
- Yes, Lizzie. - You say without taking your eyes off the road. - I'm just busy, that's all. It's nothing.
Lizzie makes a noise of agreement and looks away. You think maybe she believes you're not telling her the truth, and you feel guilty. So you decide to change the subject.
- How are things at home, Liz? Are Mary-Kate and Ashley well? - you ask, and she looks at you quickly.
- Everything's fine. - she says, and then she bites her lip. - Did I do something?
You frown, glancing quickly at her before looking down the street again. The light was red. And when you turn your head toward her, she lets out a sigh.
- You don't talk to me anymore. - She says seriously, looking at you. - Since Berlin, you're just distant. Always busy, and with ready-made answers. And now you try small talk, even though you hate it. I wish you would tell me what I did wrong.
Your heart is racing at the accusations, because she is absolutely right. And then you swallow dry, and prepare to speak, but then Liz is pointing ahead, the headlight has opened. And you have to drive, and she crosses her arms and looks away to the window.
You drive the rest of the way to her house in silence, and when you park the car in the driveway, she mumbles a goodnight before getting out.
Squeezing the steering wheel in your fingers, you take a deep breath. And then you get out of the car, and the noise of the door opening surprises her because she turns to look. But you are walking toward her, and raising your hand to the back of her neck, bringing your mouths together. Lizzie chokes in surprise, but in the next second she melts against you as she kisses you back.
You part breathlessly, holding your foreheads together.
- I am in love with you. - You confess. - I'm sorry I was a complete idiot, but I was terrified.
Lizzie giggles, kissing you again quickly before hugging you. And then she is breaking the embrace to look at you, a shy smile on her lips.
- I'm in love with you too. - she says. - I'm glad that's the problem and not something else.
You laugh, and kiss her one last time before entwining your hands and walking toward her house.
You decide to take things slow, so naturally, two weeks later, you ask her to be your girlfriend over dinner. Lizzie smiles all night, but you know that if this is a secret, she can't wear the ring.
Public relationships mean contracts, and agents, and unwanted questions, and lots of opinions about your lives. And you two wanted to keep that to yourselves for the time being.
So when directors comment that your onstage chemistry is amazing, you two just nod and thank them. When the interviewers ask if you are together, you deny it as before.
The first time you sleep with Lizzie, you almost break the bed. And it's all right, because you two are laughing with happiness and pleasure, and she pulls you in for another kiss. And you entwine your hands, the commitment rings on your fingers.
A year and a half later, you are getting very busy with your participation in a youth series, and there are many rumors that you are dating your co-star, so Lizzie is jealous and you can't blame her.
You decide that the secret cannot go on any longer, at least not to your friends and employers. So you talk to Lizzie, and you both call your agents. Sara laughs for ten minutes when you tell her, but she is happy to talk to Lizzie's agent. You are not public yet, but it is important that all parties are in agreement. You hate bureaucracy, but you don't mind as long as Lizzie's hand is in yours. Your friends are very happy, and the other cast members tease you constantly about it.
When you shoot the last movie, you think you are going to be fired because your character has died. But then you and Lizzie get a series together.
You try not to overthink how you will deny the rumors on television, but Lizzie kisses you on the cheek and tells you that you will face it together.
It takes three more months for you to propose. You think your chest will explode with happiness when she accepts.
And then you are calling your agents again, and Sara almost faints when you tell her that you got married in secret at some registry office in the Caribbean and she needs to get the paperwork sorted out. When you get back to California, there is a small ceremony with your family members.

Present
You and Lizzie are sitting side by side in the interview. The questions about WandaVision are over, and now you know from Jimmy's expression what he is going to say.
- The last time you were here, I had only an instagram post as an argument for your secret relationship. - He says, making you, Lizzie and the audience laugh lightly. - But now I have talked to the production and they prepare a presentation.
- My goodness. - You remark, making him laugh. And then he waves to the big screen, and you try to disguise your nervousness.
A presentation of images began to play to the audience to the sound of "honeybee" by the band "The Head and The Heart". There are several studio shots, from photo rehearsals to behind-the-scene moments. There is a picture from the day you met, from the first cast test, from the Avengers taping, paparazzi shots of you laughing in the parking lot, or in the open areas. There are pictures of you walking around Los Angeles together, pictures of your rides, or your travels. There are clippings from instagram stories where you spend time together, laughing and hugging. The presentation ends with the BTS photo of WandaVision from the first day of recording where you have your arm around Lizzie, and the two of you are laughing.
You clear your throat away the emotion, but Lizzie wipes her eyes lightly.
- That was very beautiful. - She comments as Jimmy hands her a piece of tissue paper. The audience bursts into tears of excitement.
- I guess we can get to the part where you deny everything now can't we? - Jimmy jokes and you smile and straighten your posture.
- Actually, Jimmy, we have something to announce.
