THE 77TH FUNERAL DIRECTOR: HU TAO ・YEAHHH SOMEONE MATCHES HER ENERGY!!! definitely whenever she sees you while going on a stroll around town, will open her arms for you to run into to her while tryna hug her back, if you would she loves to give piggyback rides to you too. loves you so much, and so does she!! probably would also run around town in both your free time to prank people, and every successful prank would be one kiss, from the one and only you!! she wants you to be there to see it too!!

・accepts your affection with wide arms, even with you draped around her shoulders, your head resting on hers while she does work is her favorite!! kinda makes her know she's safe, because you're there with her. just know your boundaries, and when is the right time and she'll do the same, loves every bit of your affection, lets her know that at least someone enjoys her little pranks hehe. her being in your warmth is enough to make a bad day go well. you being there to cheer her on is enough to make her face light up, at first the affection was so unexpected, but she was so up for the idea. doesn't care if other people see you and her do all that pda stuff, just lets everyone know your affection is hers. ・probably adopts a cat that you've been feeding everyday near your shared home, absolutey loves it with you, like parents to the cat. names it her favorite dish. always notices when your mood changes to something a bit negative, and that's a go signal for her to be overly affectionate this time!! loves making you smile, then loves it when you hug her in return. kiss her forehead whenever you guys cuddle!! definitely loves it, would try to hide her face away from you so that you wouldn't see the millions of shades in red covering her face. ・probably loves words of affirmation, and acts of service, getting told she's annoying for her pranks isn't exactly a good feeling. but the things you do for her, and the things you do to her, all the praise you give while she's done nothing to deserve it, all the hugs, kisses, and love you give, and she still feels like she has to do more, but assure her that she shouldn't because all you want is her, she'll fall 100% ・the way you got introduced to zhongli was you chasing hu tao around for a kiss probably. then you bump into him, and hu tao comes running at you both, again. and introduces you both, and zhongli is slightly surprised she has a significant other, but is like a proud dad. while you both are rambling to each other like a lovey dovey couple, and he third wheels, he thinks you both fit each other like a jigsaw puzzle, because there should always be someone to love you, even if the rest of the world hates you.

probably would make fun of you whenever you say something cheesy, "for all that it's worth, i'm glad i met you." you'd say while looking up to the setting sun in the distance, "no you aren't." she teases, looking back at you, smiling, "yeah, you're right, i have dreams of you stapling your fingers to your face." THE DIVINE PRIESTESS: SANGONOMIYA KOKOMI ・dream come true to her, probably liked you as soon as you both met, probably sun and moon relationship. she's a bit of both, but she likes it better when you do all the talking, and she does the listening. after somewhat a long period of time that kokomi's been gone, obviously you'd miss her, and she'd miss you. but whenever those long missions finally finish, she loves the feeling when as soon ass you see her, you come running with your arms open just to hug her ・loves mostly anything and everything about you / anything you're willing to give, aka your affection. probably loves whenever you become cheesy with her, makes her flustered.

"Hey I have a day off tomorrow, wanna do anything special?" Kokomi asks, getting up her chair to face you with a bright smile painted on her face, "I just wanna be in your arms, in your presence, anywhere you go, I just wanna be with you." You said, noticing the small tint of rose on her cheeks, "Well, anywhere is alright, just make sure you enjoy yourself there. Your happiness is mine." The eye contact between the both of you, the grin spread across from ear to ear on your face, made her really flustered, "O-okay! I have to go get something really quick, so just wait here and we can talk about where we'll go!" Walking out the room, Kokomi put her head in her hands, she definitely knows you'll treat her right

・whenever she's down, whenever she's failed in something, whenever she feels like she isn't worth anything, and you aren't with her, her mind wanders to all those memories of your smile, and imagines your warm embrace around her, because she knows you mean every word you say, whenever you compliment her, she knows she's at least worth something to someone, always wants to keep you close after those moments. ・matching clothes with her!! like her whole wardrobe got to be matching with yours. loves it whenever you remember the little things about her, like her favorite dish, or what kind of movies she prefers, her spotify playlist on save, or even the flowers she prefers. overthinks a bunch, the question of you both never meeting always comes to mind, but you were a friend of gorou's that just happened to be able to help with a certain mission. ・surprise date nights for those days she's off, but has got off those depressing shifts at work, and the impossible amount of paperwork really just set her off, she wasn't as happy as she was before,

"How about you just follow me okay?" her hand in yours, running towards somewhere, "Okay, but why did you make me dress up?!" her screaming from behind as you led her out to a small table with 2 chairs, decorated with white lilies, kind of like a little cottage in the wild, where no one else would disturb you both. her favorite food set out on the table, along with your own favorite, "Alright, you can open your eyes!" As you let go of her hand, the light reflected off her skin, the vine-decorated ivy cottage right before her eyes, a hopeful gaze looks back to you, "is this.. for me?"

・thanks gorou so many times for introducing the sunshine in her life to help brighten her mood. and thanks the archons that she met such ethereal beauty, and kindness in person in her life, every night, she looks up, and closes her eyes, thanking the people who got her here today, and praises the archons for letting her meet you.

SHIRASAGI HIMEGIMI: KAMISATO AYAKA ・first found you running around with yoimiya plus some children. lighting those little fireworks on a stick at night, and carrying them home once they've fallen asleep, their parents are just real busy people, you and yoimiya had decided to babysit while they were out, for free, and no pay. ayaka was free that day, and made the best decision of wanting to hangout with yoimiya, and to get to know who this wildly attractive person is. ・finds out your name while you blurt lots of stuff out while talking to yoimiya, walking through inazuma with ayaka between you and yoi, looking at what's new, and what you can afford. and what really made her fall is when you asked if she wanted anything, clearly looking hungry, and her answering that she's fine and she doesn't really know what she wanted to order if she was, and you ordered all kinds of dishes and let her try, thought you were really nice about it, especially how you were a little short on money, yet you were more than willing to spend every last dime on her, even if you both just met. ・once you both finally date, yoimiya is more than welcome to be your guys' third wheel on dates, in fact always has been even before you both got together.

"You know, before I asked you out, I asked Ayato & Yoimiya's permission." You said holding her hand and grinning at her, "She did! Was very happy to say yes!!" Yoimiya interrupted, hugging both of you from behind, "And I promised to always be your third wheel when I could!" Laughing your hearts off, Ayaka loved seeing you smile, it made her smile too.

THE MAID OF THE KNIGHTS OF FAVONIUS: NOELLE ・the sweetest at trying to confess her feelings to you. catches them while you were helping lisa with the books in the library, right after taking them back from late clients. she was skimming through books on how to get stronger, and her eyes wandering off the book, looking up to see the most beautiful person to ever set earth, while watching you turn around to reveal your most luxurious face, to see you both made a bit of eye contact, she ducks down behind her book again. ・once you finally go, she'll come up to lisa with all the books in her hands,

"hey ms. lisa? can i ask who that was?" noelle turns a bit shyly, while slamming the books back on the desk owned by lisa. "oh? are you saying you're interested in them?" lisa smirks, and putting the books below her rounded desk again, "i- no i mean-! that isn't what i meant! i just wanted to... get to know their name, they seem interesting! that's all!" stuttering all over the place, tint of ruby all over her face. "their name is y/n. they live pretty close to here, and in the library often, they help me and jean quite recently, and they've helped a lot, they thought you were pretty cute too, you know." lisa said, getting up and giving noelle her library pass back, sliding it across the desk, "t-thank you.." taking it back, and getting out of the library as fast as she could, at least she knew your name now.

Susie headcanon (some of which have evidence backing it up) time!!

- she doesn't have a good relationship with her parents. When toriel asks her to call her parents, she just walks over to the phone and waits for toriel to leave, never picking up the phone.

- I think most people also believe this one: she puts on a persona of hating everyone and bullies people because she doesn't know what it's like to have people like her. She thinks she's supposed to be the mean one. It's also some sort of coping mechanism. She doesn't actually hate the people in her class and doesn't care about them much at all (other than possibly noelle??) (Before the game started.) She's actually a really good friend it's just hard for her to open up to people. This is quite obvious, as seen from how she acted in chapter 1

- she's an only child. She just.. has the vibe yknow

- If noelle confesses to her.. she's not going to believe her right away. We all know she has bad self worth issues and she's possibly never had a friend before kris and ralsei. She's not going to believe that noelle likes her. Imo I think she's probably going to try to push her away or be mean to her because she's going to think noelle is pranking her or something. Hopefully she'll understand at some point and they'll get together but who knows how long that'll take.

- she without a doubt listens to Pumped Up Kicks.

- she would die for kris despite the fact they made friends two days ago (in game time)

- she loves scaring little kids on Halloween. She also eats the Halloween candy like her life depends on it

- one more! She'd listen to Michelle soon after noelle confessed to her as she'd relate to the song A LOT. Though, it seems more like a song Noelle would listen to. Maybe she shows it to her or Susie finds it on one of Noelle's socials?

Indulge my inner shipping trash-self for a bit. What exactly made Kris crush on Noelle? What do they like about her? Why prank her constantly? If they hadn't drifted apart, what would their relationship look like? (bonus Ralsusie question: How would it work if Ralsei couldn't leave the dark world?)

When they were kids? Nothing too important. Just the closeness of the relationship and that noelle was a cute girl, and Kris would feel like a valiant knight taking her on adventures. Kids don’t really need super deep reasons for their puppy crushes

As they grow up, I think a big part of it is the mutual understanding they have. Both feel alienated and pressured for different reasons and there is a respite in each other; Kris knowing noelle trusts them with all her quirks makes her attractive (after they bond over dark world shenanigans of course, my take is right now as of chapter 2 they are only starting to heal). I also think kris is attracted to the idea of a “partner in crime” which Noelle has been for a long, long time

Interestingly, the sides of her that are less public LMFAO it’s all part of the Confidence you see

Her taste for horror, her prankster side, her appearance (yes I think kris finds Noelle really cute lol), her sense of humor are all big ones. We all know kris pranks Noelle but in Ch.2 we can see her retaliate and be sarcastic and playful and sharp and I think kris really likes that, again, the idea of a partner in crime to stick with through clean and messy and dick around with. I also hc they like the serious side of her— like when she waxes poetic about growing wings in the Ferris wheel, or monologues about Dess? They have heard that type of monologue before and they like it

It’s a love language!!!! Kris knows noelle enjoys the adrenaline of getting spooked to a degree and extrapolates she will like them if they give her that thrill, and so pranks her to get her attention when they’re kids and it solidifies as a way to display affection. Kris won’t do a prank that goes too far, they know where to draw the line and how to tightrope it. They acquired the practice through going too far a couple times

They also know she will return the jabs and games, and they like that.

Lmfao is it bad if I said I think Noelle would have never gotten a crush on Susie if they hadn’t drifted apart cus that’s what I think. I dunno if they would already be dating but they for sure would have more complex feelings for each other, perhaps walking that awkward line of “but they’ve been my neighbour forever, they probably see me more as a sister”

Or maybe the feelings toward Susie would exist, but the feelings toward kris would also exist, with all the consequent implications. Teen drama ahoy (I think if she did feel attracted to Susie, it would be on a more physical level and conflicting with the feelings toward kris… kris also has problems expressing their own feelings toward Noelle and so the relationship is at a standstill)

PBTBTHRBTH this is so silly but I guess it’s time to talk about the Van Headcanon eH?

In @zixzs-ajk’s fics, there is this little world building bit that the shed in the forest is an entrance to the Dark World. I really like that, and I stole it to hc the following: a few years down the line when Susie is 19-Early 20s, she gets kicked out of the house for good. At this point she has bought a dinky secondhand van. When this happens she moves in there and drives it next to the shed, setting up camp- and lives this double life of sorts where she will have a part time odd job in the light world to keep the van working-ish and socialise with kris and Noelle, but the rest of her time is spent in the dark world with Ralsei, where she has food, shelter, a lover. (I dont doubt the others go visit her there, too)

I conflate it with Rals leaving the dark world so they sometimes sleep together in the van/camp when they want to be alone, but it works if he can’t leave the dark world, the difference being that she would gradually spend more and more time there. She will never 100% stay in it without leaving (she cares for her other friends a lot, and the van does need some degree of upkeep) but most of her life is spent being queen with ralsei because duh prince he’s gonna ascend to king with warrior queen in tow

Of course canon May shit all over this and adjustments would be done accordingly, but for now, that’s the idea for that one

Deltarune Headcanons | MC favorite flowers

So, I’ve been working on this series of Deltarune fics, in which flowers are extremely important. Ralsei and another character have a conversation over tea at one point about flowers and the superstitions surrounding some of them. The other person asks him what his favorites are.

That got me thinking about what everyone’s might be. So, I did some research and found what I think would be Kris, Susie, Ralsei, Lancer, Noelle and Berdly’s favorites. I also included my OC Síofra for fun.

Tell me what you think. I’d love to hear other interpretations :)

Kris: Poinsettias

I know, I know. A lot of people are going to say that Kris probably likes buttercups because of how important those flowers are to Undertale and by extension Deltarune lore, but just hear me out here.

Poinsettias typically come in red, with five, sharp petals that make them resemble little stars. They’re commonly used as a representation of Christmas. Their direct meaning is literally, “Be of good cheer.” In their childhood, Kris spent a lot of time over at the Holiday household. While we aren’t given an explicit reason beyond them going over to play the piano and occasionally prank Noelle, we can easily infer that they could be going over to get out of their house. One day, Noelle says that Kris just stopped coming over. While this is likely in relation to the Dess incident, it could very well also be when Asgore and Toriel finally split up.

Apart from their red color possibly being something Kris would like, given they are a symbol of Christmas, it’s not hard to imagine the Holidays having them decorating the house. Kris may have learned to associate poinsettias with safety, peace and an opportunity to play the piano.

Susie: Yellow dandelions

It’s a bit difficult to imagine Susie of all people liking flowers at all, but given the dandelions edibility, I would beg to differ.

Dandelions, as some might know, are edible flowers. They can be turned into salads, as all parts (the flower, the stem, the bulb and the root) are edible and actually decently healthy. Given the likelihood of Susie either having an unsafe home, or no home at all, it’d make sense for her to be in the outdoors often, and based off of the green area and forests around Hometown, it’s not hard to imagine a surplus of dandelions.

Yes, I am suggesting that Susie eats dandelions. It’s not much of a stretch if you ask me. She’s eaten weirder things literally on screen. Not to mention, they’re yellow, one of the core colors in her Dark World design.

But that’s not all. Dandelions have a beautiful and very fitting meaning when we think about rough and tumble Susie. They represent life after a harsh winter, rebirth and an incredible, inspiring strength. If that isn’t Susie, I’m not sure what is.

Ralsei: White roses

Maybe there aren’t flowers in the Dark World, though I do include them in the series. Either way, it’s not hard to picture Ralsei reading up on flowers from one of the thousands of books he no doubt has inside his castle.

White roses are very delicate and easy to mistakenly break. I can see Ralsei treating any flower with care, and he may have just the perfect gentle touch to keep a single white rose alive for a very long time. Perhaps he’ll press it into the pages of a journal when it begins to wilt. That way, it’ll last much longer.

White roses also are a symbol of innocence and love between friends. While he has seen a lot, Ralsei certainly shows a sort of naivety in Chapter One, especially in the battle with the Spade King. He is also clearly very affectionate toward both Kris and Susie, and his care and love for them both is spelled out rather obviously.

However, these aren’t entirely pure blooms. They also symbolize silence and secrecy. I love Ralsei dearly, but his behavior through Chapter Two has been rather suspect. Not only did he stay silent about The Roaring until the very last second, but he’s clearly keeping things from us the player, shown by his, “That’s why, Kris,” when we return from watching the Susie cutscenes. I adore him, but he certainly has secrets.

Lancer: Squash blossoms

You may know the reasoning of this one already, especially if we have the same taste—no pun intended—in books.

Squash blossoms are here less for their symbology and more for, like dandelions, the fact they’re edible. While it isn’t dived into as much as it could be, Lancer is clearly not treated well by Spade King. Unlike Susie, he clearly can afford food, as he’s the son of a literal king. Like her, however, he expresses that he didn’t get anything to eat for breakfast apart from the treat he and Susie share at the bake sale, and later the piece of Dark Candy they pick together.

Squash blossoms don’t require any preparation and can be eaten straight from the garden. They’re also apparently very good when fried. Surely I can’t be the only person picturing Lancer enjoying fried food, right?

An interesting end note though. While I chose these not for symbolism, they apparently were a symbol of status in some indigenous tribes, which I find endlessly interesting.

Noelle: Hellebore

This one relates partly back to poinsettias, but more so because hellebore is also called by another very particular name, a Christmas rose.

Not only do these lovely flowers bloom in wintertime, but they sum up Noelle rather well if you ask me. A symbol of peace and tranquility, but also anxiety and fear.

The latter two are easier to explain. While it’s not specified in game, it’s likely Noelle suffers from some form of an anxiety disorder. She’s constantly nervous, stammering over her words, worrying she said or did the wrong thing, apologizing and letting others talk over her. Hellebore clearly displays this, but that isn’t why I chose it for her.

Hellebore, as stated above, symbolizes peace and tranquility. For Noelle, Dess was a sanctuary. A place of peace, serenity and tranquility, where she didn’t have to be afraid that she was going to do everything wrong. Picturing Dess and a young Noelle together in the snow. Dess tucks a hellebore flower into Noelle’s hair and then one into her own so they can match. Noelle smiles, touching the petals, then finds the courage in her to get to her feet and go to join the nearby Kris, who’s trying to build a snowman.

Berdly: Elderflowers

I think I have a thing about picturing characters eating flowers. I didn’t mean to, I swear-

Elderflowers are what come before the far more well known elderberries, which are commonly eaten by bluebirds, which Berdly openly describes himself (and Kris) as. While I don’t imagine Berdly eating the flowers, I can picture him enjoying the berries. He’d probably memorize the scientifics behind them just to rub your nose in it.

All jokes aside, these flowers also have a beautiful meaning when in relation to him as a dynamic character. Rebirth and renewal. Redemption, if you will. Berdly really won the fans over in Chapter Two with his character arc. These flowers can show that easily, and they’ll make a nice snack later on too.

Síofra: Primroses

I promise that this has more than just the fact the fae like them-

Primroses bloom at night, and it’s truly a magical experience to see (or in my case feel) one open up under the stars. Síofra, while not explained in their backstory post from before, treat the night sky, primarily the stars, as their religion. I can say with confidence that they may believe that primroses are blessed by the night in some way.

These flowers also can be placed on one’s doorstep to gain the approval of the fae. Síofra would certainly appreciate that, and they might end up stealing it too, but that’s beside the point.

These flowers also can relate back to The Song of the Lightwalker, which is spelled out in their backstory post. They literally say, “I can’t live without you.” Meanwhile, the Lightwalker’s song says how, “She shall die for whom she loves most,” which is easily pulled in with the flower’s symbology.

Berdly dose not need a redemption arc

I would like to prefix this by stating that I am NOT trying to excuse his actions. He is very much a prick and has a hard time listening to Noelle’s honest thoughts and opinion, but I don’t think these are good enough reasons to constitute a redemption arc for him, because outside of these flaws he has a lot more redeeming qualities. 

One of his prevalent traits is that he is diligent, hardworking, and honest. Across the two chapters we learn that Berdly has two jobs, a volunteer job at the library and a job with Ms. Boom, so far we’ve only seen him at the library but this shows that he isn't lazy and takes his job seriously.

This also shows that he is quite an honest person. When it comes to other people he might misinterpret their intentions but his assessment of their personality and how they act aren’t wrong. He wasn’t lying about his motivations and although he makes excuses for why he sucks at everything he never gives up trying to overcome an obstacle or complete his objective.

Berdly misinterprets Kris pranks on him.

Berdly making excuses for why he couldn’t solve the puzzle.

When he keeps his limits in mind and is willing to help out with the group he can be pretty smart. He has a good memory which helps out with the plan he comes up with. A plan which actually got them farther than just brute forcing their way through.

The plan fails but it does show that he isn't as dumb as he thinks he is.

These traits don’t automatically make him a good person, villains can have similar traits as the heroes afterall, but Berdly is morally sound as well.

In the spamton sweepstakes, Berdly accidentally deletes his minecrap game and has to fix it with the help of Kris. Instead of boasting about how he fixed it all by himself he admits that he got help from them.

And in chapter two when Berdly shows off the statue to Queen and Kris he specifically says to Kris to admire OUR artisanship (skill in a particular craft). 

In the next room over we learn that Sweet cap'n cakes help make the statue.

This shows that Berdly is willing to give credit where credit is due even if he sees everybody as intellectually inferior.

Throughout the entirety of chapter 2 Berdly is constantly trying to keep Noelle safe, that’s part of the reason he was working for Queen in the first place.

The other reason was to make a happy world for the both of them by creating a dark fountain. Noelle even says this herself after the ferris wheel ride.

He even pretended to have romantic feelings for Noelle so she wouldn't be sad.

While he does misinterpret her feelings as being towards him Berdly doesn’t force a kiss on her. Outside of leading her on he never once tries to take control away from Noelle or make her uncomfortable. In his mind Noelle is the one who has to make the decision to admit her love to him, not the other way around. Even when he does have a crush on someone he doesn't force a kiss on them, the control is always in the other person's favor.

He puckers up but that’s as far as he goes and when it doesn’t work he backs off.

All this shows that Berdly loves Noelle and wants to be supportive as much as possible. And while their friendship IS messy and could use some work, at the end of the day they ultimately care about each other.

If Berdly only cared about what Noelle could do for him, why does he ask Noelle how she’s getting stronger instead of why during the snowgrave route?

It’d be counterintuitive of him to let her get stronger since it would mean she could stand up to him and call him out on his bullshit.

When she is assertive and expresses her true feelings on Berdlys idea during the normal route, he’s shocked but he accepts this side of her pretty quickly.

When all is said and done Berdly comes off more as a well meaning but misguided character, far from somebody who needs a redemption arc. His intentions were never malicious and the flaws he does have are easily fixable. While in the light world it’ll take a bit of time to relearn everything, if his final few lines are anything to go by it probably won’t take that long.

(Kara) "Listen to me, *Grabs Flowey by the stem.* you are the greatest friend I've ever had. I can see you are planning on something, and that's why I love you. You are so much better than Asriel. The only reason I became a good person was because of you. You wonder why Arak is so f**king demented, it's because they didn't have you. I was planning on only killing you because, I didn't know you. You are the good in the by far worst environment. You actually became a good monster. At first I didn't believe it. I thought it was just another trick and any second you would turn on me like you did with the other kids. The fact you haven't killed me but killed Chara tells me you also love me. You are so much like me, both redeemed from the absolute worst things anyone could do. The fact I have enough trust in you not to look around and see what's going on says it all. *Puts there hand off of Flowey* now let's go back to Noelle."

What happens next starts at the beginning of there conversation so they both happen simultaneously.

(Noelle) "I can sense something near my back."

(Layer) "Oh my god, Flowey's trying to attack you."

(Noelle) "Oh yeah, probably some type of prank the two are doing. Why should I acknolage this."

(Layer) "You really trust Kara like that huh, I just want to know the imprints on your finger from a ring, you've tried to use snowgrave right?"

(Noelle) "No I've been just using a fear tatic. It's it's, Layer please help."

Layer now knows, they are stuck in telling to Kara Noelle's not fit for battle maybe causing us to loose an important war, or not care at all. They think and think for a while and when Kara and Flowey are finnished talking...

(Kara) "Oh it's Layer nice to see you buddy. What's wrong you look conflicted?"

Chapter 5: Crockett Teens

"Teen life sure has it's ups and downs," Chang thinks to himself as goes to the door to see who rang the doorbell. Oh, it's our Simblr friends from the 'real' world stopping by for a visit and a piece of Dad's delicious pomelo cobbler with a glass of nectar. "Guess they could smell the fresh baked cobbler from the front step," he thought.

This is me, Chang modeling one of the new outfits I got for my teen birthday.

Hi everyone, I'm Chang, the only son and youngest of the family. Welcome back to our home and I will play host this time since Dad (Jeremiah) is busy practicing his martial arts skills so that he can reach level 10 and break a space rock before returning to China to defeat Dong Huo's mummy deep inside the Dragon's Cave. Mom is busy writing her next novel on her laptop while my sister, Chi is in bed after arriving home from a trip to France where she interviewed a local for her high school assignment.

Here I am thinking about how sorry I was to have messed up Mom's laptop and hope to never do it again but sometimes it's hard to control one's actions when having a mood swing.

On the bright side, I found out that gardening is fun since it means I can grow my own fruits and vegetables

At the end of your last visit with us, I became a teenager who loves music and vegetarian foods. The highlight of my first few days of a teenager was attending my first high school prom where I found my first romance and became romantically involved with fellow classmate and good friend, Braden Stepp. Will have to see where this relationship goes, though since Braden has just finished high school and I just started. Found out that the teenage mood swings are tough and while pranks can be fun to set, they are not fun when one gets caught and in trouble. This happened to me when I booby trapped Mom's laptop and was caught. Mom made me stand in the corner for a time-out after ignoring her first warning. Don't worry we have made up since then.

Here are some pictures from Chi's trip to France. First she is talking to Pascal on behalf of Jolene Montaque who wanted to date him. They became friends after she interviewed him for her school assignment.

Chi gave Jolene the good news that Pascal wanted to go out her, too. She and Jolene then listened to a ghost story being told by one of the local children.

My sister, Chi also had a great time with her date, Raheem Cyr at the prom and she has agreed to 'go-steady' with him. She will be graduating soon and then plans to attend university to study the fine arts after being award 18 credits towards her degree after completing the aptitude test. Chi's teacher recently sent her to France to interview a local there to learn about the culture in Champs Les Sims. While Chi was there she helped the local book merchant, Jolene Montaque get a date with Pascal Morel who is runs the relic store. She also interviewed Pascal for her assignment. Chi made some new friends in France while helping to drum up some business for the relic shop and then she gathered some materials for the nectar merchant, Noelle Saint James that she needed to build a better machine for making nectar in.

Chi drumming up some business for Pascal's relic shop by talking to the local Special Merchant, Albert Fouchier while visiting the nectary. He agreed to hang out at the shop the next day which brought shoppers in to Pascal's shop to check out his relics.

Chi had no problem convincing Henri Fouchier (above) to give her a special part Noelle needed for her new nectar making machine after they became friends.

That's the main news for now and my family and I hope that you've enjoyed your visit. Here are some recent photos from our family album for you all to enjoy.

Hi, the one who asked about the Hydro Alchemist request. I just wanted to thank you so much for writing these. Seriously, I really enjoy your writings so far.

With that, may I request another one. I really enjoy these ones you’ve written, since they’re funny and cute.

How would Jean, Eula, and Lisa react to, while visiting their Hydro Alchemist S/O, their S/O was working on a special potion. However, something goes wrong, and the S/O ends up tripping and the potion lands on them. In a puff of smoke, they end up trapped in a giant floating bubble (that’s breathable by the way), that they can’t pop. So their S/O tries figure out a way to pop their bubble, while they remain inside the bubble. Eventually, their S/O finds a way to pop their bubble, and frees them.

Although rare, whenever Jean wanted a break from the mess of what had become of the Knights of Favonious Headquarters she would visit you in your lab to unwind. She knocked and allowed herself in with the spare key you gave her.

“Hi Jean, how was your day?” You asked nonchalantly.

“Frankly a mess. Klee almost committed arson, Lisa is being a pervert, Amber is gliding everywhere, and Noelle is overexerting herself again.” She placed her hand over her forehead while making her way towards you “I’m starting to get a migraine.” 

“Ah, sounds rough. Hey, we should prank them.” You say with a goofy grin, waving a flask with blue liquid around. “I’m experimenting with Hydro Abyss Mages. One drop and they’ll get stuck in a bubble that can only be broken from the outside. It’s originally meant for Klee but we could use it on the others too.”

Jean giggles a little while placing her hand on your chest, “Humorous but I’m afraid not, that’d be pure evil.” she pulls you into a hug and rests her head on your shoulder, and sighs. “I wish I could just be here with you forever.” 

You hug her back, unfortunately for you though, you forgot how clumsy you were. As you hug her you forgot the cork on the flask splashing Jean on the back with the contents. With a poof a giant bubble encases her. Oops. You felt so bad, she was just talking about the antics of others and you were supposed to destress her. You did quite the opposite and she could tell your guilt off of your body language.

“You know, it’s alright... It’s actually comfy in here I guess. I think we should put it in a spray bottle next time Klee gets out of time out.” She tries to lighten the mood and you just stand in awe.

“I’m so sorry I’ll get you out immediately.” Luckily for you, it was a quick fix, Jean had you craft a charm that could contain a little bit of her Ameno power in case you found yourself in a pinch and she couldn’t come to your rescue. Grabbing it from your pocket you charged in on the bubble and it popped quicker than you imagined. She lands on her feet and brings you in for a comforting hug.

“I’m sorry Jeanie I messed up a little bit.” You rest your head on her shoulder.

“Don’t worry about it, when it’s you I don’t mind. Think of it as bonding time.”

Whenever Eula wants to be in Mondstadt but simultaneously doesn’t want to be judged for existing, she’ll visit you in your lab. It’s always so nice and cozy in there. If you let her be quietly in your company she’ll love you forever.

She makes her way into your lab, it’s often quiet between you two but every now and then you’ll have the urge to show Eula your new experiment even if she doesn’t know what it is at all. She’ll just sit there and nod while looking at you in awe of your genius. 

This time around though as you were telling her the contents of the vessel, you let out a single drop on accident from the flask. it dripped on Eula and just from a single drop, a giant bubble encased her. She looked embarrassed, her face a little pink from the situation at hand. Nothing more fitting for a fallen aristocrat than a clumsy alchemist

“I’m sorry, Eula,” you apologize deeply. You knew your girlfriend already had a lot of stress, so it would be best if you didn’t immediately add to it. She just crossed her arms and legs. 

“It’s alright I guess. As long as you have a solution.” She says with a deep sigh while fixing her hair.

“Ah yes a solution,” Shoot, you didn’t have a solution... You had to think quickly and put all your brain cells into this one solution. As you recall from your adventures with Eula, you remember that you had great frozen reactions. You thought maybe if you get some of her cryo you could help her freeze the outside of the bubble and pop it.

“Eula, I need your help. Can you use your Cryo on this point?” You pointed and she touched the same area from the inside. On the outside of the bubble, you dragged your hydro element all along the bubble causing it to become frozen. With a simple flick, the frozen bubble shattered. Eula landed on her feet.

“Aha, I knew you could do it, Eula.” You laugh and grab her hands waving them around and twirling her around in celebration. She frowned averting her eyes, blushing a little from the praise and sudden contact. Ah how stubborn, so cute.

“I-I guess,” she said half pouting. 

Every day around 2:00p m you expected your girlfriend to visit you in your lab for her afternoon tea breaks. She was usually never late and the clock struck 2:05 pm, oh well, she must be busy, you thought slightly saddened. You had to finish your most recent concoction, so whether she came today or not was none of your concern.

An hour or two must’ve passed as you suddenly heard heels clacking behind you and arms wrap around you. You felt Lisa’s breasts against your back, you knew this was intentional. You quickly turned around with a flushed face, your brows furrowed slightly irritated that she made you wait. 

“Oya~ you must’ve missed me for my break. Don’t you wonder where I was?” She teased with her seductive voice, you blushed more not wanting to admit she was right. “Ah- such a cute reaction.” You felt her hug get tighter, unfortunately, the suffocation made you release the vial from your right hand. As it hit the floor a giant poof occurred and Lisa was trapped in a massive bubble.

“Oops.” You commentate. Lisa looked as surprised as she could get with her calm demeanor, you could tell she was analyzing her situation.

“What were you working on my love? Mind releasing me? I much rather admire you from the ground level.”

“Aha, you see... Since it’s a prototype I don’t have the antidote yet...” That shouldn’t be hard right? I mean, after all, you are in the city that worships the Ameno Archon. Quickly you grab a potion that you had bought from a vendor not too long ago. It was capable of mimicking an Ameno breeze, it should be strong enough to break Lisa out. You release the contents of the bottle, man was it stronger than you had intended.

The updraft caused Lisa to hit the ceiling, bursting the bubble exactly how you predicted. Not wanting her to injure herself from the fall you romantically catch her before she clashes with the ground.

“Ah my hero~ I sure am lucky to have such a smart, strong, cutie such as yourself huh,” She hugs tightly around your neck giving you a quick peck on the cheek, “Let’s get some tea started now, yes?”

For this one I decided to go with first kisses, since I recently wrote more kissing headcanons and I think they’re surprisingly fun to write UwU Zora is up first, and since you mentioned him not being popular, I decided to put more of the less-popular Bulls in here! I hope you enjoy ❤

Zora Ideale

Behind his though exterior, Zora is actually a little bit of a romantic. He doesn't quickly grow attached to someone, let alone fall in love, but it happened. Zora believes you deserve someone better than him, but you picked him so he'll just have to be the best version of himself for you.

He'll make sure the setting is right for the first kiss. Some place away from people, some please you can relax. Probably one of your favourite places. A first kiss should be memorable, right?

He'll place his hand on your cheek and lean In slowly, giving you enough time to turn away in case you'd be uncomfortable. He half expects you to punch him in the face or something.

The kiss is soft, your lips just barely touching. Zora is a little worried he'd hurt you or make you uncomfortable, and his pointy teeth may or may not be part of that worry. He's not changing them though, he likes them this way.

When he takes his hand off your cheek after the kiss there's a stinkbug on there. Zora wouldn't be himself if he was a perfect gentleman, right?

Charmy Pappitson

Your first kiss with Charmy will be kind of spontaneous, a kiss that will surprise both you and Charmy. It will, however, also be a sweet one, in more ways than one.

You and Charmy will just be relaxing, eating something sweet Charmy has made. Cupcakes, donuts, anything. As you're both enjoying it and gushing over the taste, Charmy notices a bit of frosting/filling/whatever stuck just above your lips. She'll point it out, but instead of describing exactly where it is so you can remove it yourself, she'll grab her chance, quickly lean in and clean it up herself.

The kiss lasts about a second, it's over before you even realise what just happened.

Charmy herself is a little surprised at her sudden bravado and looks away with a blush on her face, rubbing the back of her neck nervously. She liked it alright, but what if you didn't like it?

She'll be so taken off guard by her own action, that you have the perfect opportunity to lean in and place a kiss on her lips, this time a proper one. Once your lips part, she will be laughing awkwardly, probably avoiding your eyes by looking at the sweets.

Asta

“Y/n! Can I kiss you?!”

It's Asta's typical stressed/flustered way of shouting and even though he asked you away from other people, you're pretty sure anyone within the vicinity has heard him yelling.

Once Asta falls in love, he wastes no time getting his feelings across. He has no problem proclaiming them to you, be in privacy or in front of others. Once he knows you return his feelings, he will be so ecstatic that he forgets everything else. Including that he wants to kiss you.

So somewhere between 30 minutes and 3 hours after he confessed, he will be asking you if he can kiss you. When you say yes, he'll step closer to close the distance between the two of you, put his hands, which you can feel are a little sweaty because of the nerves, on your cheeks and slowly closes the distance.

The kiss itself is very careful, Asta has no idea what he's doing and he doesn't want to do anything wrong either. First kisses are special, right? He keeps his lips pressed to yours for a few seconds before pulling away with a big grin.

Grey, Henry, Luck, Noelle, Gauche, Gordon and Secre after the cut!

Grey

Grey is just not doing it. She's way too embarrassed, and there's just no way she can get herself to ask you to kiss you. She'll consider catching you by surprise and just doing it, but what if you don't want a kiss? Or what if she does it wrong?

She's an absolute mess. She'll ask Gauche and Noelle for help, but their advice is simply ‘just ask it’ or ‘just do it’. It's no help to her, which only makes her believe even more that she's a lost cause.

She will make several attempts to ask you, but she just never can get any further than the word ‘can'. The stuttering already starts when she calls out your name to get your attention, and after a few attempts to ask ‘can I kiss you?’ the embarrassment becomes too much and she transforms herself into the big guy. She's not finishing that sentence and no matter how much you ask her about it afterwards, she won't complete it.

Ideally, she'll wait for you to kiss her first. It'll still be super embarrassing, but at least she won't be the one who has to make the moves.

Henry Legolant

Henry is a little hesitant about kissing you, he knows what effect he has on the people who come too close to him, but he really wants to! So he'll think about it for a good while before hatching a little plan.

On a moment when nobody is around, he'll call out your name, step closer to you slowly so you can step away if you become uncomfortable, slowly leans in when he's close enough and kisses you. He has his arms around you to support you, in case he's draining too much mana from you.

The kiss is soft and slow, and he stays close to you for a few seconds, not wanting to part from you too quickly. He tightens his hold on you a little, enjoying the rare feeling of being close, certainly this close, to someone.

He'll then hand you a little plate of food he had asked Charmy to prepare for him beforehand and step back to give you some space. It's Charmy's special food to restore mana. Of course Charmy was in on his plan, he had to tell her to get her to make something for him, and unknown to you she's sneakily watching through the keyhole of the door to see if their plan worked.

Luck Voltia

Luck didn't plan on kissing you today. Luck doesn't plan on anything. He always goes with the slow and his only goal is for the two of you to have fun. Aside from that, it really doesn't matter what happens. Though if fighting or pranks are involved, that's a plus! And that's exactly what put him in a good enough mood to kiss you.

The two of you had just played a huge prank and were running away from your poor victim, who seemed about ready to murder you. You were laughing like maniacs as you ran and you eventually lost them. The two of you now stood still, catching your breath and laughing.

That's when he does it, suddenly and unexpectedly. The kiss is story and sweet, gone as soon as you felt it. Just a little peck. Luck simply keeps smiling at you while you're trying to process what just happened. He'll start laughing at your reaction, and it makes you unable to stop yourself from laughing as well.

The whole situation is a little absurd, but there's no uncomfortable silences, no tension, no awkwardness. Just your boyfriend playing a little prank on you, one you certainly don't mind.

Noelle Silva

Noelle is going to do everything in her power to make you be the one to kiss her first. She's a royal, she shouldn't be the one making the first moves. Right?

She's tried to a few times, but she just gets too embarrassed every time and chickens out. Hence her new plan: make you want to kiss her. You're already attracted to her so it shouldn't be too hard, right?

She'll put some extra effort into looking pretty, and she'll try to bait you with things like a subtle with pretty lipgloss, or by leaving a little bit of food hanging on her lip. She's not the most subtle person, so her message should come across pretty easily. It's up to you whether you want to tease her a little about it and pretend to not notice, or to just give her what she wants.

If you keep ignoring her hints, she'll eventually find a moment to just tell you that you can kiss her. Mostly likely when you've gotten her something or done something for her.

“You did good, as a reward, you're allowed to kiss me.”

No, even though she said it, she's still not making that first move herself.

Gauche Adlai

Gauche is not a very subtle person. When he wants something, it's obvious. Usually he just makes sure he gets it too. You, however, are the one exception to that. The one person aside from Marie that he's careful with, about whose opinion he cares. So, instead of just kissing you right the moment when he feels like it, he waits a little.

He's not too worried about setting up a good romantic setting, that's not what matters anyway, it's the kiss that matters, but he does try to get some privacy for that moment. He doesn't need people commenting on him kissing you when he does, it's a pain in the ass.

But getting some privacy with the Black Bulls around is nearly impossible, and Gauche is struggling to even create such an opportunity. His patience runs thin pretty quickly, he just wants to kiss you already, so he pulls you away behind a corner, pulls you close to him and kisses you there.

The kiss is a little on the rough side, mostly due to Gauche's annoyance at the whole situation and at how long he had to wait. He calms down pretty fast though, now that he's gotten what he wanted.

Gordon Agrippa

Gordon usually goes with the flow, letting you take the lead, letting you set the boundaries. It was like that in his friendship with you, and it will continue to be like that in his relationship with you. However, you two have yet to have your first kiss and he's getting a little worried about it. So this time, he decides to make a move.

When the two of you are relaxed and away from prying eyes, he'll just talk to you about it. Not in a sad or an accusing kind of way, but in a way filled with curiosity. Were you shy? Were you uncomfortable? Did you just not want to? Were you waiting for him to make the first move? Despite the somewhat weird topic, it's a comfortable conversation.

Once you let him know you're comfortable with it, be it during that conversation or later, he'll carefully cup your cheek in his right hand, put his left hand around you to pull you close and then he'll kiss you in a soft yet sweet kiss. Nothing too overwhelming, just a relaxed and loving moment.

Mind the lipstick stains though. The other Bulls will have a riot when they see them.

Secre Swallowtail

Secre never really thought too much about kissing you. Sure, she loved you, but physical displays of affection are not really her forte, nor are they extremely important to her. She always figured that if you wanted to kiss, you'd come to her and kiss her, simple as that.

However, when Vanessa, be it in an alcohol-induced haze, informed her that kisses were needed to assure the other of your love for them, she got a little insecure. Was that the ramblings of a drunk woman? Or was there some truth in that and were you doubting her love for you?

She remembered Tetia and Licht, and how happy they seemed when they kissed, so there must be some truth in it at least, right?

So she asks you if it's bothering you. Expressing her emotions aren't her strongest point, but you can see some worry and uncertainty in her eyes. If you assure her you're fine, that's that. If you let her know in any way that you would like to kiss her though, she'll lean towards you and place a quick peck on your lips. The contact doesn't even last for a second, but Secre can't help herself from smiling. Maybe kisses were better than she thought.

A series of sibling headcanons for Asriel, Chara, Kris, and Frisk. 

Chara and Asriel- Siblings who work together and get along terrifyingly well. Asriel has the big ideas, and Chara comes up with plans, and will move heaven and earth to make these ideas happen, often preferring to give most of the credit to Asriel. While Asriel’s pretty kind to everyone, a combination of being a bit eccentric, exacerbated by his high status as prince of monsterkind, leaves him feeling so separate from other monsters his age. While they’re of course kind to him, he can’t ever feel close to them. 

Then Chara arrives, also being very welcomed but distinctly an outsider, being a human who came to Mt Ebott for a ‘very unhappy reason,’ with a heavy sense of responsibility. Asriel can’t help but see himself in Chara, and wonders if he can give them the kind of friend he’s always wanted-- and in the process, they become the only person he feels really understands him. From Chara’s perspective, Asriel is a literal angel. He should have seen them as weird or evil, someone stealing the love and attention he deserves from his parents, but instead he’s so kind and welcoming. He deserves the world-- and they’re going to give it to him. 

Kris and Asriel- While Chara and Asriel get along to a terrifying degree, Kris and Asriel are more like siblings who compete a lot. Asriel tries pulling a nice and harmless prank on someone-- and Kris HAS to one-up with a meaner, but still ultimately harmless, prank, so naturally Asriel has to one-up Kris with a nice but utterly baffling prank, which causes Kris to escalate, and so on. 

Similar to Chara and Asriel, these two have a tendency of idolizing each other, but in more of an ‘I wish I were you’ kind of way. Kris is distinctly an outsider in Hometown, being a human and a troublemaker. They’re welcomed well-enough, but still have a pervasive sense of loneliness. They wouldn’t ever feel envious of Asriel’s popularity, of course, they wouldn’t ever want him to feel this loneliness. But they kind of wish they had his talent for always knowing the right words to make someone love them, and they don’t want him to ever leave them behind-- and perhaps they pull a few not-so-harmless pranks on anyone they think actually dislikes him. Still, they wish to be someone cooler, kinder, smarter, calmer, more likeable... 

Asriel, meanwhile, isn’t a prince, but is viewed by everyone as the perfect student, perfect son, perfect role-model-- but he’s far from perfect. He’s a kid who has his own difficulties and flaws and things he thinks others will look down on him for. He feels like he can’t let everyone around him down, or judge him. He knows that likely won’t be the case, of course at least his family won’t judge him, but there’s always that little voice in the back of his head. So in a way he wishes he were Kris, and how they can’t help being so... them. And how   they still have people outside the family who they care for them and trust them, like Noelle and Rudy. But still, he worries for them while he’s gone, so he tries introducing them to the people who call themselves his friends, in the hopes they’ll care for Kris too. 

Chara and Asriel understand each other, and tend to see only the best parts about each other. But Kris and Asriel see each other, see the bad parts the other is unwilling to show people-- and also see the good parts no one else recongizes, and thinks the other is someone amazing and admirable who they’re so lucky to be friends with anyways. 

Kris and Frisk- In my AU, I actually headcanon Kris and Frisk as identical twins. I like the idea that they’re both seen as really fucking weird by everyone around them, but that doesn’t matter as long as they have each other. Though both CAN talk, neither of them likes it at all, and far prefer signing, or how they don’t do tones or expressions around each other, but easily pick up on each other’s stims-- and while people around them call it weird, around each other it’s just comfortable.  

Both are highly imaginative and choose to spend time in their own little worlds. Kris spends all their time reading and gaming, and talks to Frisk about what it is they’ve been reading, where they think it’s going. Frisk is a lot more outgoing and adventurous, dragging Kris to explore the nearby woods with them, where they find sticks and play that they’re knights and mages and monsters. 

While Chara and Asriel understand each other, and Asriel and Kris see each other, Kris and Frisk are the same, and are always there for each other, no matter how misunderstanding and confusing the rest of the world is. I like to imagine they’re briefly separated in Undertale, but after the Barrier is broken Frisk gets their new family to help them search for and adopt Kris, and Kris proceeds to hear about Frisk’s adventures and make a few monster friends. (cough Suzy cough)

They also sometimes just spend hours in the same room saying or doing nothing, just Vibing. Because they’re both silent protagonists. They have a text conversation that’s purely pictures and an ongoing war between Frisk’s insistence on emojis and Kris’ insistence on emoticons. 

Kris and Chara- As it turns out, they’re both huge book nerds. They can spend hours quietly reading in the same room, utterly content. They also collab on writing fanfics, the what-ifs and how-can-we-make-it-worse-es. (As it turns out, they both REALLY enjoy dark fic, and try to drag Asriel into beta-ing their darkfics for them. He enjoys it more than he’ll ever admit and sometimes has some absolutely evil suggestions neither human thought of.) 

Chara grew up in a household that didn’t allow them to play video games or watch much tv, so Kris shows Chara their huge collection. They watch as Chara plays the games, and correctly guess which will be Chara’s favorites, and show them how to use the controls-- but also mercilessly tease Chara for what they get wrong, or for thinking the wrong person was the bad guy. Sometimes they bully each other a little-- they fight over who gets chocolate, Chara always tattles on Kris when they eat mom’s pie in the middle of the night(carefully leaving out how they woke up early to try to eat ‘some’ pie ‘for breakfast), Kris likes to use their knife to act really creepy and play pranks(being careful to never get close to hurting anyone) while Chara is Horrified because knives are Only For Gardening-- but ultimately they also get along really well, even if it doesn’t look it. 

Chara and Frisk- Much like Chara and Asriel, they work together terrifyingly well. While in Chara and Asriel’s case, Asriel had the ideas and Chara made the plans, here Chara makes the plans, and Frisk does the legwork in actually DOING the plans. Frisk is way more stubborn and curious the Frisk, and even if they’re doing something the wrong way or making a mistake, will pointedly commit that mistake because they’ve spent this much effort already. Chara, meanwhile, will judge Frisk hard for the way they do things and sometimes tattle on them to enforce consequences-- but just as often joins in on their antics out of some morbid sense of curiosity. 

Frisk enjoys Chara’s sense of humor, and will often do things or drag Chara to places just to see what they’ll say or how they’ll react. Chara at first found this annoying, but has grown fond of how Frisk expresses amusement. Due to how Frisk is more stubborn than Asriel, these two are perhaps even more unstoppable than Chara and Asriel. But all three together? Hoo boy. Hoo boy. 

Frisk and Asriel- I think things between these two have always been kinda strange. Asriel has moved on from idolizing Chara and now idolizes Frisk, which is extremely uncomfortable for them, both being a normal kid with trauma and flaws, and remembering how as both Flowey and the God of Hyperdeath, Asriel has manipulated and killed them previously, as well as hurt their new family. Still, he’s the only one who understands what it’s like to have Reset. Chara also wielded it, once, but refused to ever use it, and judges Frisk for ever considering a True Reset. Kris in Undertale is nowhere near determined enough to wield it. But Asriel knows the pain of dying not just once, but dozens of times, the frustration of trying again and again to line things up JUST right to get the desired result. 

At the same time... as uncomfortable as Frisk feels around Asriel, and even if they have a hard time forgiving him, they don’t like leaving anything half-done. They resolved to save everyone. That means Asriel too, and this would be the case even if Chara and Kris didn’t love him. They’re going to save Asriel, they’re going to ensure that his parents know their son is still their son, even if he looks like a golden flowery now, they’re going to help him heal and comfort him from nightmares and take his opinions on interesting secrets and funny pranks and birthday gifts for Chara into account. Because however they feel about it, ‘Asriel’ is among ‘everyone’ too. And Asriel just doesn’t understand where all this determination to save them comes from, but whether he realizes it or not, he finally really does understand how Chara felt when he resolved to become their best friend so long ago. He’s going to do his best to feel better someday, to BE better-- for Frisk. 

And personally I find a Frisk who isn’t so forgiving and doesn’t wanna be Asriel’s best friend, but sets their feelings aside for the sake of their own personal morals, and to make their friends and family happier, to be a lot more interesting than the usual fandom perception. Like generally the same, certainly has the same end result, but just a little more nuanced and interesting, without having to get really edgy. 

If you ever have all four Dreemurr siblings allied against you though... be prepared for the prank to end all pranks. Frisk on recon, sneaking around to learn your routines and weaknesses over a few days. Chara puts the plan together, brainstorming together with the others but generally leading it. Asriel plays distraction, with his charming demeanor, while Kris carries out the prank. They are Unstoppable.

How would you say Kris and Noelle's first kiss go?

Kris and Noelle are at the autumn festival when they have their first kiss.

Or wait, no, their first kiss is in kindergarten, on the playground. Berdly made Noelle cry and Kris pushed him and got in trouble and after school she gave them a quick peck on the lips and took off, embarrassed.

Their first real kiss happens during the autumn festival.

Being raised in a town that was mainly populated by monsters, Kris had never had the opportunity to celebrate halloween, but they hear its similar to the autumn festival.

People dress up, eat candy, go bobbing for apples, play pranks. It's a good time.

Susie has ideas this year.

"Dude, we should totally go as ourselves," she says, a few weeks before the festival. She's sitting on her bed, scrolling through her phone lazily. Kris is trying to do their homework, but her constant snorts and laughs from whether she's texting Lancer about is a bit distracting.

They don't mind though. It's nice to have someone to waste time with.

Kris glances up, question written in their eyes.

Susie, used to reading Kris when they go nonverbal now, rolls over so she's lying on her stomach.

"You know. As like us us. From you know."

Kris rolls their eyes.

"Ugh, us from the dark kingdom, dipshit."

They offer her a deadpan look.

"Well if you knew what I meant why didn't you say so?"

Kris turns back to their assignment.

"Petty bitch. Are you down or not?"

And so Kris found themselves dressed in a fairly accurate replica of their own armor, nibbling on buttered pumpkin bread and trailing after Susie and Lancer and wishing Ralsei was here.

Kris understands that ruling the Dark Kingdom came with many responsibilities, but it didn't make them any less unhappy about it.

So Kris is being carted from stand to stand, watching bemusedly as Lancer and Susie try to out eat each other with every choice of food, when they come upon Noelle.

She looks lovely, as she always does, and it seems that Susie has convinced her to dress as her own Dark Kingdom counterpart, white robe and all. She beams at them all, and immediately sticks herself to Kris's side.

They all go on rides together and check out the haunted house and prank Berdly and it's the most fun Kris has had in forever.

The end of the night brings the hayride, which Susie and Lancer think is boring, so Kris agrees to go with Noelle because otherwise Berdly's gonna try and sit next to her and Noelle insist she'd rather have Kris.

Kris isn't sure if Noelle wants to hang out with them or just really hates Berdly, but they agree.

Full harvest moon and sipping apple cider, the two of them find their own corner of the wagon to pair off in. The ride is bumpy and the other teenagers are loud, but Noelle is pressed up against their shoulder and she smells like cinnamon and the apple cider she's drinking, so Kris doesn't mind.

One of the horses pulling the wagon freaks out a bit, and Kris gets dislodged and falls into Noelle's lap. They're still kind of...just there by the time the horse calms down, but now it's Kris freaking out because they're always awkward and weird around Noelle, and this definitely the most awkward and weird thing to happen in a while, but Noelle just giggles and suddenly presses a quick kiss to the tip of their nose and Kris-

Kris fucking blushes and lets out the most humiliating high pitched noise that attracts everyone's attention and then Noelle is blushing and the whole way back they aren't talking, aren't looking at each other, just sitting there in embarrassed silence.

But that wasn't a real kiss, no, the real kiss happens later when Kris and Noelle are waiting for their parents to pick them up and Susie and Lancer have already gone home. They're waiting on the curb, bags of candy in their hands and avoiding eye contact when Noelle suddenly apologizes.

"You're not mad at me right?" she says after, looking miserable. "I wasn't thinking, I just-I thought you were cute and-oh no I'm making it worse-"

Kris doesn't think they can blush harder than they are right now, it feels like their entire face is on fire and Noelle looks just as flustered, and Kris's mind is caught on an endless loop of I just thought you were cute and then suddenly they're throwing all caution into the wind and going for it as they stand up on tiptoe and press a gentle kiss onto Noelle's lips.

Noelle lets out a flustered squeak and Kris pulls away, absolutely sure that they just made things worse, but then Noelle leans in and they're really kissing and sure it's awkward, but Noelle and Kris are awkward so it's actually kind of normal for them, kind of nice, kind of something Kris wouldn't mind doing regularly.

Noelle's mom shows up and herds (ha) Noelle into the car, casting the two of them knowing looks. Noelle blushes one more time and says well, see you at school tomorrow just before she rolls the window up.

Kris sits on the corner for a couple of minutes, face still red. Their phone dings and they pull it out and it's from Susie. Attached is a picture of Kris and Noelle-

Kris whirls around and Lancer and Susie are there, grinning like idiots and Susie is saying things about Lancer owing them money and throwing halfhearted apologies at Kris about how they didn't exactly mean to spy on them, they were going to prank them but then Noelle and Kris got all gross and smoochy and Kris-

Well, they're feeling kind of warm inside, so they're letting this one go just this once.

Just this once though. And only because Noelle had looked so adorable when she said see you at school tomorrow and then looked away still blushing.

As far as first kisses went, Kris thinks they're doing pretty good.

Kris...?

I finished Deltarune chapter 2 a couple of days ago, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since, so now you all get to share in some of those musings!

Spoilers for Deltarune chapter 2, naturally.

The situation surrounding Kris is a little complicated, because we, as the player, as explicitly possessing them against their will, which means most of the actions they take are not theirs, they are ours.

This dichotomy is present in each of the protagonists of this series, but Kris is most clearly unhappy with our presence. Frisk seems to have very little of an opinion on our actions (to the point where them not being us is a reveal), and Chara’s relationship with the player is too complicated to really delve into here, but there’s some mutual egging on happening in that relationship. (I doubt I will be able to avoid Chara as a subject entirely, given the similarities between them and Kris, but this isn’t primarily about them.)

But our control over Kris is not absolute. Kris is able to assert themselves in various ways, most prominently by literally ripping the player out of themselves, by ripping out the SOUL, but this is where the interesting things start:

For one, the battered birdcage suggests that Kris has ripped their SOUL many times already, which means they’ve done so before the player turned up to take possession of them. This would imply that someone else has take possession of Kris before. The first save we override when playing Chapter 1 is Kris’, which means that they resisted that possession and took control over themselves back before we showed up.

Secondly, Kris willingly puts the SOUL back in in chapter 2. This is either because Kris recognises that they need that SOUL, even if it comes with possession, or because it offers some other advantages that make the possession worth it in some sense, but we’ll get into that later.

 Who is Kris?

So, we know Kris does not like the possession (his response to the Spamton fight makes this exceedingly clear), but beyond that, there are a lot of details we can fill in about who they are.

For one, Kris has really grown to like Susie. They protect her entirely of their own volition when fighting the King, and the Susie Tea heals Kris the most (Ralsei Tea notably does not, but we’ll get to that). Maybe it’s because Susie gets to be as rebellious as she wants, and Kris appreciates having someone around to call out the bullshit they see around them that our control doesn’t let them comment on, maybe it’s something else. It’s hard to tell, because Kris’ relationship is filtered almost entirely through us, but their other relationships aren’t.

Berdly acknowledges that Kris is the third-smartest person in class (which means Kris is the second-smartest, depending on how much help they’ve received from Toriel), and we know from basically everyone that Kris has been a little creepy, unsettling and quiet for a good long while now. They used to do a lot of mean pranks (especially targeting Noelle). One could argue that these pranks went a little too far, but Noelle doesn’t seem to be that upset about those pranks anymore.

This is made more interesting when looking at that moment in chapter 2, where you, as the player, can prank Noelle on the forcefield puzzle, but then, when Noelle pranks Kris back, Kris looks very upset about this. This either means that Kris has gotten over their pranking days, or it’s the unfairness involved that makes this specific instance unpleasant.

We also know that Kris really, really loves Asriel, and wanted to hang out with Asriel and his friends a lot as a kid, even if that meant people like Catty and Bratty taking advantage of them, and we know Kris studied the occult with Catti at some point. Kris also likes to play the piano, and is very frustrated that we don’t know how to.

Oh, and there’s that weird (bomb?) shelter to the south of town that Kris apparently has a history with.

 What’s up with that?

The sound coming from that shelter is plenty ominous already, but Monster Kid and Snowy’s conversation in chapter 2 makes it very clear that Kris has gone in there, and the minor interaction with Susie afterwards indicates that this is not something that Kris likes to talk about.

Now, that shelter is pretty clearly associated with Gaster, and Gaster has been known to experiment with souls, so I do not think it’s much of a stretch to suggest that this is where Kris was first possessed, and things turned for the worse for them.

Kris and Noelle have also gone through something pretty traumatic, possibly involving Noelle’s sister Dess (likely short for December), and the location mentioned for this event makes it very likely that these are the same thing.

So Kris explored that shelter (with Noelle and December, perhaps), stumbled across something bad, and likely got possessed, which they struggled with for a while (turning quiet and strange in the meantime, and alienating the people around them), before fighting the possession off and being left depressed and exhausted, almost perpetually.

But then, there’s another side to Kris.

 The Knight

In chapter 2, we learn that Kris is the Knight, who has created at least two dark worlds, and creates a third at the end of chapter 2. Kris either cannot do this, or does not want to do this, while we’re possessing them, but what’s left of Kris after they rip their SOUL out is a shambling mess of a person, which goes some way to explaining why they accept the SOUL back after they’ve done their thing.

Now, we don’t know Kris also created the original dark world in the supply closet (and we know that one existed before the one in the abandoned classroom), since Ralsei never mentions the Knight creating that one, but, well, Ralsei has been keeping his information close to his chest.

It is interesting, however, that Kris created the dark world in the abandoned classroom before we showed up to possess them, so clearly we are not the (only) reason they’re doing this, but if we aren’t, then what is?

 Ralsei

Ralsei is always incredibly supportive of Kris, to the point of seemingly crushing on them over the course of the games, but Kris does not seem to quite return those affections (given the lukewarm response to the Ralsei Tea compared to the Susie Tea), regardless of whether we do.

Ralsei is also very mysterious, and has, so far, not shared everything he knows about what’s going on. There’s also some hints in the Snowgrave route that Ralsei knows the player and Kris are not the same person, and that he’s using our ability to switch perspectives to actually talk to Kris, which means he isn’t necessarily hiding things from Kris as he is hiding things from us. Just look at how quickly he tells Kris not to think about the Spamton fight, after Kris has their outburst (if you choose to let them say ‘no’).

So, I think Ralsei may be making plans with Kris behind our backs, which makes it very possible that Ralsei knows Kris is the Knight, and is creating these new dark worlds, which would seemingly contradict his desire not to blanket the world in darkness, but, well, there could be a lot he’s hiding from us still.

Does that mean we’re the bad guys? Does it mean Kris and Ralsei are the bad guys? Either is possible, I suppose, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable of Kris and Ralsei to keep information hidden from the powerful entity possessing Kris. We could be nice, sure, but at any point we have the power to do something awful (a fear the Snowgrave route proves to be very real), so I can hardly blame the two of them for not telling us everything immediately.

So maybe Ralsei’s relentless encouragement and pushing for pacifism is meant for us? To make sure our possession of Kris is as easy on them as possible? And on those occasions where our possession gets to be too much for Kris, they can rip their SOUL out and deal with all the bubbling anger and frustration by unleashing it on some tires, and creating a dark world, before putting the SOUL back and go on with whatever plan Kris and Ralsei have going on?

Do their choices matter, in the end? Do ours?

I just want Diluc to end up accidentally adopting all of the mondstat kids and then the Liyue kids and then have split custody over Kazuha with Beidou, and he never means to adopt them his big brother instincts just kick in!!! so he takes care of Diona when her father is drunk and helps her make good non-alcoholic drinks! And he teaches Bennett how to not get thrown back by his vision and patches his up, and then teaches razor how to better use his claymore while also giving him shelter when he can’t stay in wolvedom anymore. And he lends Fischl his library when she exhausts all the books in the favonius library, and scares away all of Barbara’s weird stalker-fans when they’re being creepy. He’ll be the one to pick Noelle up from the library when she’s studying too hard or asking her to come listen to him talk whenever he thinks she needs a break. Being a pyro allogene himself, he loves helping Klee develop her bombs, and maybe he gives her a small one to use while Pranking a certain brother. And he sees both himself and Kaeya in Chongyun and so he keeps a box chilled by mist flowers filled with popsicles for him, and is always ready to talk about the newest book that Xingqiu has been reading, and maybe even buy the whole set for him. His kitchen has never been as lively as when Xiangling is in there, experimenting with different wines and ciders in dishes, nor have the halls been filled with such music with Barbra and Xinyan playing together. Qiqi has never seen these cool mushrooms that grow on the buildings before, and Diluc is more than willing to remind her to harvest them every few days.

All I’m saying is that Diluc has realized his mistakes, and he’s willing to try again. Maybe all of this opens a pathway to being friends- perhaps even brothers with a certain Calvary captain again. Sorry for the ramble I just love them.

- first things first... this kid is a bi trans boy. and he’s autistic. and he has adhd. AND-

- one of his most common stims is hand flapping and he'll also like, drum his hands against desks and tables. lots of hand and arm movement in general

- he pulls his feathers out when he gets nervous but otherwise they don’t really fall out just like, randomly. unlike noelle, who does shed in the springtime. he (playfully) complains about all the fur she leaves on his clothes

- if you startle him he’ll let out a little chirp. kris thinks this is Really funny and because noelle isn’t as easily startled by their pranks anymore (she's built up a tolerance over the years), they’ve shifted gears and now spend their time scaring berdly

- there’s also a good chance he’ll chirp mid-yawn or something

- just like ~500 other people i think berdly has a knack for english over other subjects. he’s probably in that phase where he thinks big words and convoluted sentence structure makes his writing better, but he’s growing out of it

- (or that’s how he is about his academic writing, because there’s a specific audience there he feels the need to “impress”; he might approach his fictional writing differently [because he definitely jots down short stories and poems whenever he can])

- noelle tutors him in math and science, and in turn he actually helps her with essay writing. she’s good on her own, but with berdly’s edits and suggestions, her papers go from a B to an A+

- oh on that note, i disagree with the notion that berdly is naturally good at english and views it as a lesser subject. i think he sees every school subject as vital and he takes a lot of pride in his vocabulary and literature analysis. his problem is he Hates to admit that he’s good at english and not so much everything else. he needs to be good at it all or he's not smart enough

- and actually? he is good at math and science. he says noelle helps him Study. this tells me that he does in fact learn the material; he just needs to spend more time with it and have it taught to him in a different way. but since it doesn’t click instantly in his head the way it seems to for noelle, he’s like “im not good at this and im not really smart”

- the thing he tends to look down on is his creative writing. it’s not doing anything for his academic career. it’s just fun and makes him happy. but that’s silly, isn’t it... he can’t seem to make himself stop and give up on it forever though. he writes and he writes annnnnd he doesn’t show anybody <3 except noelle, but she’s only seen like, 2 pages of stuff he’s written for fun. and it took a lot of coaxing from her before he let her see even that much (she really liked it. she's always trying to get him to show her more)

- he's pretty artistically inclined, all in all! he doesn't really let himself pursue those budding skills freely but they are there... ofc he loves video games and when he gets older and gets over himself a bit he'll probably end up in that industry! in story writing... or character design. or you know what. both

- i dont. know SHIT about video games but he probably feels the need to pretend to be super into extra hard games and he keeps up with all the new stuff that comes out but in reality he enjoys more retro stuff... from when games were allowed to just be like. idk. Fun. im thinking his favorites would be like spyro or gex

- he’s also on the cross country team. have i talked about this? i forgor 💀 don’t ask me where he gets the time to go to practice or meets (? does cross country have meets. or is that just track and field. im not looking this up) because like where does he get the time to do literally anything

- i just think... he is the type of nerd who is also sporty in a lot of ways. listen. do you see how strong he is in the dark world? wish fulfillment my ass that’s coming from somewhere idc

- anyway he and jockington are buddies. berdly is used to people being pushed away by his attitude and *ahem* Complex, but jockington is so easygoing he just... doesn’t care. which takes berdly by surprise. jockington ends up being the second person who berdly feels completely comfortable around and he drops The Act when it's just them

- from personal experience he probably spends a lot of his time at his library job bored. really bored. the work they let library aides/etc do is very menial. time-consuming, and there’s always a lot of it, but like. *falls asleep in the middle of my shelf reading* anyway the library in hometown probably sees even fewer patrons than the one i work at, and the amount of reshelving and shelf reading he’d have to do would be soooo minimal. he probably just sits at that desk most of the time. he tinkers with his homework, but he either can���t focus or it’s something he needs to ask noelle about. so he’s currently working on reading every single book in the library catalogue in alphabetical order to pass the time

- he has teeth. like. he has a full set of teeth. this is canon but it seems everyone wants to ignore it and i’m not going to let you. is it a little bit horrid? yeah. but stop taking away his teeth he needs those (the idea that they’re retractable is so bad it’s really funny and im kinda obsessed with it so i’ll accept that too)

- *ignoring that he calls himself a bluebird and that his head shape and white arm stripes are reminiscent of a blue jay* SO ANYWAY his feather pattern In My Head most closely resembles a beautiful nuthatch. why? idk

- just. imagine more blue and less black

- yyoouuuuu probably already know my thoughts regarding his family and how he must have been raised and yeah i guess? he? still lives. there. i guess there’s a shadow of his mother just in the back of my head. i don’t think we should talk about her.

- he’s an only child, though he has always kinda wanted a little sibling... he’d be a good big brother

- (fun fact: in my swap au, this desire for a little sibling is what makes him bond with clover the way he does. the little sister[s] he always wanted)

- LET’S TALK ABOUT SWATCH i think swatch adopts him. i think swatch steps in as a guardian figure to all the kiddos but with berdly something clicks in their head and they’re like “okay. come here. *scoops him up*” and i’ve talked about this before but im not shutting up about it.

- berdly spent the whole time in cyber world trying to gain queen’s approval and affection but after everything’s said and done, he realized he never had to go to all those lengths for swatch to notice him. they’ve had their wing held out for him all along; he finally backtracks and ducks underneath it. he feels safe around them :)

- i say after because in my little made-up world noelle and berdly don’t walk away from cyber world thinking it was a dream. or maybe they do, but come on it’d only take one of them mentioning one detail from the “crazy dream” they had for the other to be like “wait. what was your dream about? because um...” so like. in a normal or neutral route, they get their own little rooms in castletown and!! i think it would be so fun if, in-between Serious Plot, you could go to castletown and find both of them hanging out. interacting with the different npcs and stuff. berdly can often be found in the cafe, behind the counter with swatch ^^ he’s learning how to make all the different drinks and desserts... (swatch is the host but they probably know how to make everything served there right? right.)

- alternatively, he's being carted around by one or two of the swatchlings because they all fuss over him a little bit

- speaking of the neutral route. i don’t think. that’s the only time he sustains damage from that damn plug. like uh.... that’s not a very. small thing to have done to your body. electrocution or not. yeah

- i don’t think he can fly. his “wings” function too much like hands to work for flight. whatever the fuck he was doing after noelle and susie’s ferris wheel ride was him using his wind magic to like, propel himself up into the air and then steadily drop himself back to the ground a little bit at a time! so it’s a dark world only thing. if he had that same magic in the light world, then he could i guess. but it’s still also not actual flight and he can't stay in the air very long. but it doesn’t seem like monsters have magic anymore...?? or at least they just never use it....?? (????)

- oh and about his dark world magic. i don’t think of it as just wind magic. i see it as like. full-on storm elemental magic. he just doesn’t use any of the more standard ~stormy~ abilities because [this has been redacted because it's a spoiler for my befriend berdly route fic and normally i don’t care about spoilers for fics but i care about this one. sorry]

- he’s sensitive to the cold but it’s okay because noelle and her family give him like 10 brand new, very warm, and very fluffy christmas sweaters of varying degrees of ugliness every year. his wardrobe is just as festive as noelle’s at this point

- rudy isn’t amused by berdly’s Antics but noelle has kinda dragged him into the family anyway. his presence at their house on christmas eve is tolerated

Now that it’s been a few days, on a serious Deltarune note I want to throw out that I actually don’t think Kris is The Knight. Obviously some sketchy stuff is going on, but I don’t think Kris started it.

My thought right now is Kris is a seriously troubled kid. They were adopted by a monster family for unknown reasons, which likely caused some issues (like the “when do I get horns?” thing as a kid). Like, Toriel obviously tries, and her heart is in the right place, but we also know she can be a little overbearing at times too. Asriel obviously hangs over their life like a shadow, being sort of the golden child everyone loves but also the person Kris seems the closest too. Then there’s all the divorce stuff with parents, which I saw a good post breaking sown some time stuff that suggests it’s all really recent.

So you got a troubled kid with a history of being kind of weird and playing some messed up pranks on people (Noelle in particular) who also has whatever the fuck is going on with us or something else possessing them. Then this whole Dark World stuff starts happening and we drag them into it…but, like, they get some friends? Like, especially if you go pacifist they actively take over at some points to stand up for them (or at least I hope its them), enough to suggest its not all us just making them like these characters.

By end of Chapter 2 we get a lot of stuff of everyone talking about how great the adventures are and wouldn’t it be cool to bring the Darkners to out world and oh, the Queen conveniently laid out how portals are made. So you take a troubled kid who is known to do extreme things to show affection (I still stand by comments I made elsewhere I think Kris slashed the tires in part to keep Susie around) possibly thinking “hmmm, what if I make a fountain to help solve all my problems, even at a little risk if destroying the world?” (Which is why they ripped us out before doing it).

I mean, I guess there’s no reason to prefer this versus “they were the knight since the start”, just that “a not really bad kid making a bad decision because of their problems” feels more in the vibe of the series than “oh this kid was doing dangerous things since the start”. But, with hints Kris was into the occult (like the summoning demons things when fighting the popups) I guess it’s not beyond the idea they started everything.
