suguru gets nightmares—it’s expected, but it’s not easy. it breaks your heart—very painfully so—every time he jolts up with frantic eyes and labored breaths.

he tries to shake you off and pretend he’s fine the first few times, but by the time it’s happened enough, he resigns himself to letting you handle things, just like you always do.

it’s easier when you handle things—he’s starting to realize that more.

“another one?” you mumble through a yawn, sitting up and hugging him from behind as your cheek rests on his bare back. he grunts, hunched over with his head in his hands.

“‘s okay,” he says quietly, “you can go back to sleep.”

“we both know i’m not doing that, suguru,” you hum, palm rubbing slow circles into his abs. he sighs, melting into your touch eventually as he leans against you, head falling back to lay on your shoulder.

“sorry,” he whispers, “i didn’t wanna wake you.”

“i wish you would,” you hum, tracing his nose delicately as you kiss the side of his head, “i wish you’d let me help, baby.”

“you already help enough,” he mutters—almost bitterly, you note, “i don’t need to make you lose sleep over it.”

“you’d do the same for me,” you say gently, “wouldn’t you?”

“of course,” he says instantly.

sometimes, suguru is too kind for the world. it tramples him and leaves him curled on the floor under its cruelty. sometimes, he gives too much and forgets to take, to ask, and it’s starting to show. it’s starting to pile up and become too much and you think, just for once, someone should give to suguru too—because he deserves it.

“it’s a two way street, y’know,” you smile against his temple, “wake me up next time. please?”

“you really wanna see me at my lowest, huh?” he tries to crack a joke and dodge the question—but you know suguru, and you know what he needs. sometimes before he knows himself, even.

“everyone needs someone in their lowest, baby,” you mumble, “it helps more than you think.”

it’s silent for a bit. it’s like that more often than not with suguru these days—he’s silent, prefers the quiet and tender moments alone with you when you happen to catch them. he doesn’t have the energy to talk, and you don’t make him, and he’s grateful. he’s grateful when your fingers weave into his hair and your lips find his cheek, when you’re content with laying your head on his chest and just being there as he thinks.

you look down as he lays against you, his back to your chest and his body slotted between your legs, resting in your hold. it’s silent—he doesn’t always want to talk, and you don’t make him.

and he’s grateful.

finally, he breaks the silence first. “i felt it all over again,” he mumbles, “the…on my…”

his hand instinctively covers his chest, and you know what he means—he doesn’t have to finish, doesn’t have to say anything else before you press a tender kiss to his head. suguru doesn’t have scars on his chest. shoko’s reverse cursed technique heals well enough that the scars on his chest don’t remain even a little. it’s almost like it never happened—no proof of the x shaped slashes from blades to his chest.

but suguru can still feel his skin slicing sometimes—in fact, he thinks he can never forget it.

“hmm,” you think out loud, “well, there’s only one remedy for this i’m afraid.”

he looks up and raises a brow, staring at you before you crawl from under him, letting him plop down against the pillows as your body turns to hover over his.

“what are you—”

“mwah,” you press a wet kiss to his chest, starting from his collarbone before continuing in a diagonal line down the rest of his sternum. he can’t help but let his lips slowly widen into a smile with each one, letting out a soft chuckle when you tickle the skin slightly. “i read somewhere that kisses are really good for healing,” you murmur.

“ah yes, your doctorate from webmd is really coming in handy,” he teases, grinning when your lips press against his collarbone once more, on the other side this time as you peck along his chest in another diagonal line. it’s silly, a little pointless even—the wounds have long healed and you can’t even be sure you’re kissing where the scars would be, but suguru seems to brighten considerably with every touch of your lips.

it’s enough.

“well, my handsome patient,” you say cheekily, “did that help?”

“oh yes,” he nods dramatically, “i feel better than ever. thank god i have a gorgeous doctor like you.”

“hmm, i am rather gorgeous,” you brighten, giggling as he pulls you down by the wrist to kiss you softly. his hands are on your cheeks, cupping your face delicately as you hum against his mouth. “better?” you ask pulling away, pecking the corner of his mouth.

he nods, wrapping two strong arms around you as you lay over his body, grinning up at you.

“better,” he assures, “they should let you open up your own clinic. you’d put the hospitals out of business.”

“but suguru,” you gasp, “then i would have to kiss random men—surely you can’t let that happen!”

“you’re right,” he plays along, eyes widening in faux concern, “i can’t. i guess i’ll have to be your only patient.”

you smile at him—it’s radiant enough to clear the dark clouds of his shoulders, gentle enough that he feels the hardened parts of him start to go soft just a little. sometimes, suguru gets nightmares—they’re not easy, but you make them feel a lot less impossible.

it’s enough.

“what a waste of my higher education,” you sigh, “but fine. you’ll be the only one i kiss better.”

“i’m so grateful,” he snorts, pulling the blanket over your bodies as he holds you close.

sleep comes easier that night—and every night after.

Gojo :

Your body was cuddled against your boyfriend as you tried to sleep. As quickly as sleep came, it left. There was a sudden noise downstairs that made you jump.

“What was that?!” Gojo turned to you, scratching at his face.

“I don’t know. It sounded like something downstairs.” You whisper out and the blue eyed freak groaned.

“Don’t worry babe. I’ll go check it out. There’s no need to be scared.” Gojo grabbed at your hand pulling you out of the warm sheets.

“If you’re going to check it out, why are you taking me along with you?” You deadpanned as he corralled you down the stairs.

“Because babe if I die then you need to avenge me.” Gojo whispered out as he peeked around the corner. His eyes surveyed the kitchen as he crept in.

“Coast is clear- HOLY SHIT!” Gojo fell back, crawling to your feet. You watched as a raccoon jumped down from the counter, scurrying back outside from the open porch door.

“Satoru, why did you leave the backdoor open..?” You rolled your eyes as you helped the ‘strongest’ man to his feet.

“I thought you did.” He grinned as he got up and wrapped his arm around your shoulder.

“Why am I with you?” You chided and he just pouted.

“So mean..”

Geto :

“There’s a noise Sugu..” You whisper out as you adjust in his arms. Your eyes stare up at him as he scrolls through the TV.

“It’s probably nothing Y/N. Don’t worry.” He rubbed at your head as he continued to mindlessly stare. You heard steps creeping as you continued to lay there. You couldn’t help but feel anxious and definitely with the warrant out for your boyfriends head.

“Suguru, someone is in the house.” You plead. He only rolls his eyes as he shuffles around in bed.

“You’re fine-” His eyes widen as the door slams open, a tall man standing in the wake.

“Geto Suguru, it’s nice to finally meet you.” His grin is wicked and you crawl closer to Suguru out of fear.

“It’s not smart breaking into my house, you know.” He grabs at your form and pulls you up. Curses forming behind the estranged man as Geto frowns.

“Personal preference really. I don’t get why people consider you that strong.” The man shrugs as he gets closer and you flinch as a punch flies past your face. One of his many curses attach to the mans fist.

“Pathetic. At least I know I need to replace the lock.” Geto rolls his eyes as the man screams in agony, his head exploding from the pressure of the curse.

“Are you okay darling?” Geto bends down to run his hand across your cheek, placing a soft kiss on your forehead. “I’m sorry I didn’t listen to your warnings before. I’ll be more observant for you.” He leaves another peck as he sets you down against the plush pillows of the bed.

“Give me a moment to clean up and we can cuddle, okay?”

You only nod as you shake from the violent attack. You knew you were always safe with him but that didn’t make you worry any less. But at the end of the day, you still had him.

“Okay.” You lean in to give him one more kiss as he goes to clean up the ‘leftovers’.

Nanami :

You were cradled in Nanami’s arms as you heard rustling around. Nanami gripped tighter at you as the noises became louder.

“Kento..” You mumbled out. His soft snores filled the room as you tried to wake him up. You squirmed around in his arms trying to get his attention. A scream left your lips as a harsh knock on the bedroom door filled the silence.

Nanami whipped straight up, gripping at his cleaver that sat on the bedside table.

“Y/N what’s wrong?” He placed a quick kiss against your forehead as another knock sounded at the door. You gave him a scared look and he squeezed your hand.

“Nanami, are you there? I just got done giving Megumi his gift so if you could open up..!” Gojo’s voice filled the silence and you let out a giant sigh. Of course it was Gojo.

“Gojo, what are you thinking sneaking into peoples houses at 3 am. Regardless of time there is a thing called privacy.” Nanami swung the door open, berating the special grade as he started to push him out. Gojo gave you a thumbs up as he sat the gift bag on the chair and continued to struggle against the blondes hold.

“Try the lemon flavor Y/N! I think you will like it!” Gojo calls out as Nanami shuts the door on his face and sighs. He comes back over to the bed, his face worn down as he falls into his pillow. You couldn’t help but laugh at the buffoonery that unfolded.

“Ken are you okay?” You rubbed at his back. He only groaned as he peeked up from the comfort of the bed.

“Can we pretend that never happened?”

Todo :

Todo’s face was buried against your chest as he snored. You ran your fingers through his hair as you continued to mindlessly scroll through your phone. You heard noises creaking against the floorboards which attracted your attention.

“What the hell?” You pushed the large man off your chest and stood up to go check out the noise.

“Huh..? Y/N..” Todo’s hand yanked you back towards the bed, his eyes pleading for you to continue cradling him.

“There’s someone there Aoi. You have to let me check.” You push his hands away much to his dismay and move to leave the bedroom. His body moves quicker than yours, ripping away at the door.

“Is someone there!?”

There was a scuttle from a thief grabbing at some of your belongings, his hands flying up as Todo stomped through the hall.

“How dare you ruin my time with Y/N?! I am disgusted!” Todo grabs the thief by his shirt and tears open the window.

“Todo, the vase!” You screech as your vase teeters and he throws the man out the window, grabbing the nice china in time.

“Stupid. Now let’s go back to the bedroom.” He dusts himself off as he grabs you with one arm and makes his way back into the room.

“Maybe we should check the door..” You gasp against his tight hold as you try to process what just happened.

“The door should try and check me!” He gloats as he places you gently on the bed, still worked up from having his precious time taken from him.

Sukuna :

Your body slid in the sheets as you felt hands gripping at your face. Your eyes slowly opened and adjusted to see the beast on top of you.

“What-” You struggled to speak as his hand pushed your cheeks together.

“Such pretty lips. All for me?” He grinned as you smacked his chest. Sadly this was a recurring theme with the two of you. Whenever Yuji lost control you always somehow had Sukuna trailing close behind you. And although you weren’t particularly happy waking up to such intrusions, you didn’t mind it either.

“Cmon.” Your voice is garbled as he pets your skin and grins.

“No scream for the intruder? I’m disappointed.” He slaps your cheek lightly, not enough to harm you but just enough to wake you up.

“You’re a piece of shit.” You roll your eyes as he chuckles and pulls you flush against him.

“You like it.”

Choso :

“Baby.. there’s something outside.” Your eyes barely peek above his arm as you hear the scratching at the window. Choso just groaned and pulled you tighter into his embrace.

“It’s okay. Just sleep..” His voice was hoarse as he patted your head. You couldn’t help but still feel anxious, tugging at him to wake up.

“Please..” You jolted as another harsh slap hit the window. Choso sat up and made an annoyed face.

“Who would be stupid enough to come here?” He stomped out of the bed and over to the window. He ripped at the curtains and opened the window.

“You think it’s funny-” Choso starts only to get backhanded by the tree arm that had apparently been smacking the window. Your eyes widened as he wiped at his face, turning to see you laughing hysterically. He let out a small laugh as he rolled his eyes.

“Glad to see you’re not worried anymore.” He slides back into bed, pulling you flush against him.

“Baby you didn’t close the window.”

“Really..”

Megumi :

Your body rested against Megumi’s as you both cuddled against the sheets. It was a cold night and the heater was all but broken. One of your hands rubbed at the fur of the black dog coating you like a blanket while the other rubbed through your boyfriend's hair.

There was a ruckus from downstairs, your body jolting at the sudden noise. The dog seemed to notice as well, sitting up and growling, ready to protect you and Megumi.

“There’s something..” You pushed against your boyfriend and he slowly wiped the sleep out of his eyes. You arms circled around him as his shinigami jumped down from the floor and went to go sniff out said intruder.

“If someones there we will know. Don’t worry.” Megumi stretched as he tried to get into action. He jostled himself out of the comfy position and opened the door.

“Really.” His voice was deadpan as the dog came back into the room and jumped on you, unfazed. You were confused - there had to be someone if Megumi was talking.

“Hello dearest son! I brought sweets! Oh and hello Y/N!” Gojo gives a wave as he holds a giant bag out.

“Get out.” Megumi rolls his eyes as he pushes the bag away and shuffles the sorcerer back through the house. You could only chuckle at the interaction and hope that Megumi would tell him to knock next time.

suguru, who prefers hugs over anything. it’s just something about holding you tight and feeling the warmth of your body, smelling your aroma and hearing your giggles when he kisses you. and it’s so comforting to know you enjoy it to.

suguru, who does have to deal with your boldness in public too. getting stunned when you wrap your arms around his waist while he’s window shopping, hands slipping under his shirt and feeling up in his toned muscles. he’s gotten better at hiding his flustered expressions, rolling his eyes and trying to seem annoyed, but standing still until you feel satisfied.

Adding the smallest bit of info here💀idk why, but it’s like, I only talk about Suguru and I on this blog but in my head there’s a poly with satoru, because sure the relationship works good with me and sugu but it’s just so perfectly balanced with Satoru in too heh—but yes lmao

How does Suguru show his affection to me?

Ok so, he’s veryyyy indulgent to my sleep schedule, like never ever ever says no to cuddling, it could be 12 in the afternoon and he’ll come lie next to me for sure. Suguru also loves cooking, so often when I’m tired or come home from a long day (mind you he’s somewhat a househusband heh, when he doesn’t have his missions ofc) so he makes my favourite dishes+remembers my drink preferences by heart. Knows exactly what amount of sugar and stuff I like. Suguru is also very very patient with me and when I tell you he’ll sit there listening to me for hours, he will—it could be gossip, it could be work, it could be a new hyperfixation, and he’s just. Aksjsjsj yes. Plus, often he also helps me with my writings and all heh

As for pda, we aren’t “huge” on it, like people would obviously know that we’re together — he’s quieter about it, not exactly like denies it ofc but it’s typically me who’ll make it more obvious or speak it out? Ofc that doesn’t mean that Suguru isn’t a silly little pookie to me so he will offer me his lap despite the many chairs there be in a room. Forehead kisses too if he’s leaving the room without me—At a party we do our thing for a while with our friends but Sugu is secretly jealous so an hour or so into it, he’ll come around with a hand on my hips. And even in public, we don’t call each other with our names? Like a shorter version of it—at least near friends and stuff, for sure. Also Suguru holds my purses in public, it’s his way of showing that he’s mine hehe—and Suguru holds sort a possessive look in his face too lmao, but he’s very caring as well. Carries extra hoodies for me because he knows I’ll end up needing them, if it’s raining he’s the one who holds the umbrella and just in general, such a gentleman

And for affection just to each other, we’re very very touchy—not so much in public, we do our own things there but the moment we’re inside, there are constant hugs and kisses. If I had to put a word on it, our love language is words of affirmation, because we’re both sort of insecure in different ways? So it’s helps us both. He loves annotating his books, so we do it together, like he’ll read a book and his his thoughts and then I do the same and then we re-read them, sort of together. All in all Suguru is just so full of love and loves showing it out, not the hes into all that ‘she’s my girl’ kind of thing but his heart flutters if I say it out to someone

Hi!! I’m looking for a JJK roleplay partner. I’m 23 (she/her) and I’ve been roleplaying since I was 12 (although definitely fallen off of it). I write third person and I’m semi lit to literate.

I’m looking for someone who’s interested in an OC x CC where I play as either Satoru or Suguru. I don’t mind to double up, but it’s really unnecessary. I want to improve my writing of those two for my stories and in general I just love writing them. I also don’t mind CC x CC, but it’s not my favorite and it would be Sugu x Sato still.

Okay so I found an Asian MarketTM (according to the sign out front) in my new town, and decided to look for sticky rice, because while my taste in food has been described as "bizarre" and "that's serial killer shit (affectionate)", I know I like sticky rice and can PROBABLY not fuck it up-- ...turns out the market was more specifically an SEA market so they didn't have a ton of specific rices. Oops? Did manage to score a package of sweet rice, though, which I'm told is the same thing. Anyway, I know you've been talking about food lately, and seeing ingredients like millet flour and coconut powder (and 5-pound bags of spices) has piqued my interest, so-- what's a good SEA dish for beginner cooks to make? ....Okay let's be more realistic here, what's a good dish for an American with the palate of an English peasant from the 1500s and the ability to start a (small! It was small!) fire while boiling water.

....It occurs to me this may be an impossible question to answer, or perhaps a case for a "take the L and order takeout from real chefs" response, but I'd appreciate your input nonetheless (and recommendations on what kind of candies to look for at that store, because I will Definitely be going back for those at some point)

Off the top of my head with you mentioning "the palate of an English Peasant", is Bubur Lambuk (and not just because it may somewhat resemble gruel :'3)! It's basically a spiced, savoury thick porridge (It's heftier/less watery than Chinese-style congee) that you'll find being given out at almost every mosque in the SEA during Ramadan. It's tradition so to speak! You'll almost never leave a mosque without a baggie of the stuff to bring home eueb

I've linked a recipe you could try out! It's from a Singaporean so it should be close to the dot. Definitely something nice for cold weather! The recipe doesn't mention it, but you can pop in cubed potatoes, carrots and even peanuts if you'd like. I've had versions of it with those items before. I've got my own recipe for spiced chicken porridge from my mom I'm going to be experimenting with ouob

Candies are of an interesting to when it comes to SEA! Admittedly I don't eat a ton of them, but what I can remember are colorful icing sugar biscuits (we also call them Gem Biscuits, and we were constantly divided between the ones who'd eat the icing only, and the ones like me who preferred only the biscuit with a little bit of icing), Kacang Pipang (peanut candy) and Nano Nano sweets (a childhood fave, basically a delicious, fruity sweet-sour-salty thing). Oh, Sugus (a soft fruit taffy) and Kopiko if you need a caffeine fix, but candy. Both very popular with the locals still. Pics as below, in order.

I've been writing stories forever, but I started writing and posting fanfics when I was 19. I used to have an old tumblr blog which I deleted, and actually stayed off the website for a couple of years before joining again when I started this blog! ^.^ I was into another fandom and really wanted to write out this story & I pushed myself out of my comfort zone by sharing it.

maki: because I love her story, and she's such a badass. her arc is one of my personal favorites. geto: I have a soft spot for morally grey villains, and sugu's story was so tragic it hurt :c. nanami: his character speaks to my soul. I literally wept reading the shibuya arc.

hmmm, I feel like if there is one thing I would change it would be from the most recent chapters after gojo was unsealed. I didn't like the time skip that went straight to the battle and would have preferred to see the aftermath of the situation a little bit more in terms of storytelling.
