Transformers Earthspark theory - how Knockout could actually be Mr Smelt
....or ideas about it, anyway. Enjoy my observations!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So uhh here's where the neurodivergent urge to consume media and hyperfixate on it has lead me! Please, feast your eyes on my flow chart/ mind map of madness™.
I know the text is really small, if you click and zoom it could be easier to read. I did try to split the original image into quarters, hope that makes it a little easier to read. However, if anyone needs a transcript I'll do my best to sort it out, my only concern is that I have no clue how to link ideas if they're just bullet points (the idea of having a way to link ideas is what lead me to make this in this format :) )
Perhaps a bit of an explanation as to what lead to this?
A few weeks ago, I saw the Earthspark season 1 part 2 trailer and hey... Who's that?? Breakdown?? Of course, I immediately wanted to watch what existed of the series so far, and imagine my pleasant surprise when I heard Knock Out's (tfp) VA voiced a side character!
Anyway, I started watching the series, finished it in 3 days, cried tears of happiness over Nightshade's pronouns (for those of you who say representation doesn't matter, it does. You probably just feel represented), fell in love with Megatron, etc etc. But imagine my absolute, brain-rotting madness when I couldn't find episode 7 on youtube!
Meh, like that would stop my theory brain. Using various episode summaries I found on youtube (first and foremost this one, as it was short and had good attention to detail! But if anyone has any recommendations for other good summaries feel free to let me know), I started to slowly make a mindmap. That evening I found @transformers-earthspark's blog and the where-to-watch resources... Firefly I cannot thank you enough!!! You're literally amazing!! You have no idea how happy I was to find ep 7!! You do so much, give yourself a pat on the back and a nice snack :))
Anyways, armed with my new access to ALL the earthspark episodes (1 - 10, anyway, as only they are available atm), I remade some of my mindmap, added to it, made more points. Over the last few weeks (aka less than two) I polished my mindmap, did some colour-coding, added images, links, details etc until it could apparently fit on an A3 sheet?? What??? So many ideas from silly old me??
Obviously, I don't think I'm completely right. As a matter of fact, I think I made many assumptions and links that were a very big stretch (blame this overactive imagination of mine. I keep thinking of potential plot lines and then forgetting that actually, I made them up and they're not canon). However, I hope I made a few points that will inspire someone to make their own theories, or just have fun thinking!
Apologies if this all sounds garbled or if it's difficult to understand, I am tired and I have two languages running around in my head (that I'm fluent in, I've also tried to learn 5 others. Lingual hell!!!)
Have a good day/ night and enjoy the theories!
Also a quick note and thing to add: I wrote this on Monday the 27th (I draft just about everything in my notes ok), before I woke up on Tuesday and saw the new images from the episodes, including the one with Breakdown!! AHHH!! /pos So I guess I was right about something? And I mean... Breakdown and a theme of racing in one episode? If this is a coincidence and Knockout is not chilling somewhere in the background then I don't know what to say.

ok, i've seen a lot of debate on this and i just want to put in my two cents real quick!
explaining my reasoning for why i think sun is seeing us as a child and not an adult in help wanted 2
(aka. world's most incoherent sun analysis)
to preface; no hate at all to people that want to think of this differently! everyone will have different perceptions of help wanted 2 and that is fine!! i understand the upset about the changes to suns character and i hold no grudge against people that dislike the ruder portrayals of sun!
this is just my personal beliefs and analysis i've made!
hello hello! i apologize if this is incoherent, this was originally written on discord and i'm just pasting it in and formatting it for tumblr!
i am open to discussion on this, but PLEASE be nice (and use tone tags!!)
"Bad kid, bad kid! I'm putting you in timeout!" "You stay in timeout until your parents arrive!" - sun, help wanted 2
these two lines. are INCREDIBLY significant to this and why i think there is just literally no way he's seeing us as an adult at all!
why on EARTH would sun pull the time-out line if we're an adult? why in the world would he refer to 'your parents', why would he call us 'bad kid'? sun has the capability and sense to recognize an adult when he sees one, and honestly i feel like sun would be more polite to staff than this! not out of genuine respect, no- out of genuine fear. a common argument i see is 'maybe he's being mean because it's a training thing with a staff member playing the role of a child', but this circles right back to the point that sun would not be a bitch in front of staff. he is smarter than that, that is a speedrun to a whole world of shit for him and i DOUBT he'd want that. keep in mind sun is an actor, he knows how to throw on a little show and pretend for the eyes of someone he'd need to pretend for i think what we see in help wanted 2 isn't a VR version of sun, it's not him being a bitch to staff- i don't think sun ever had the balls to be rude to staff, knowing his life is in their hands- i think this is just. who he REALLY is. like that is sun, at his core, before it all went horribly HORRIBLY wrong. keep in mind the first time we saw sun was at his worst. his worst point mentally, the most scared he's been in his life (barring RUIN, he was also pretty fucking scared in that- but in some way he had hope. he knew how to fix this, he just needed someone to help him. there was NO hope for him in SB, he was totally at moon's mercy), paranoid out of his mind and desperately fighting against moon. we CANNOT take that as a representation of who sun is, who he REALLY is when he's not out of his fucking mind scared. sun in HW2 is casual, he is calm- only a little afraid, when nap time draws near, but not 'standing on the desk losing his fucking mind clawing his face yelling about lights on and why would we, a small child, do that' afraid which is a significant difference! he even THREATENS us with nap time, showing that he's clearly a lot calmer and in his right mind- he is lax and well. i think this is, again, evidence that this is just who sun really is i understand why people don't want that to be true!! i understand why people want to believe that maybe sun isn't as rude as this- and honestly, i don't think he always is that rude!! i think we're still missing vital pieces to who sun really is beyond the mortal terror, we have not seen him in his theatre days still but help wanted 2 is the first time we have EVER seen sun calm and not acting like the world will explode if moon exists for even a second. and that is so incredibly significant in the portrayal and discussion of his character and personality and with the context that sun is an actor and designed for theatre- there's also reasonable proof to theorize that maybe his daycare persona, the way he acts in security breach before you go behind the counter, is a performance. he overblows it and goes WAY over the top. y'know. like a stage persona. i think part of it is being conditioned to act that way by his environment, yes!! but i also think that a lot of it is acting. note how he starts on what resembles a stage in SB, making a grand entrance as if walking out as a performer. note his dialogue in help wanted 2 (and listen closely!! pay attention to what he says, the circumstances of it all!!). note his mental state in security breach and parallel that to HW2. note the details. you might notice something new about our beloved jesters!
tldr; sun isn't being an ass because we're an adult, that's just how he is, even WITH the kids!! HW2 is the truest, closest representation to who sun is that we have ever had and we cannot use SB or RUIN as a representation of sun's genuine personality due to the circumstances he's in at the time and his behavior likely being incited by paranoia and it may potentially be a performance sun is putting on.
i don't think sun is a sweet sunshine boy (i do not have any issues with people that do want to see him this way though!), i think sun is a multi-faceted and flawed person, and that is so incredibly interesting!

Evolution of everyone's magic: Amity edition
(ok, I was going to do multiple characters, like Gus, but this one took LONG ENOUGH so I doubt that now :D )
Tumblr media
[S1E03] Top of her class for creating abominations: hers looks very solid, can move and talk, but has been pre-created from a cauldron containing all of the ingredients, so it can't exist on its own
Can also summon one from thin air, but it's VERY loose and fragile: can be instantly killed and turned to goo again by a single Luz punch
Tumblr media
[S1E05] Can summon a proper solid one now, but it's small
[S1E12] Can create fire without having to use a training wand (she used it to melt the bindings off her siblings and Eda)
Tumblr media
[S1E13] Can make large abominations, that stay alive for presumably a long time (long enough to carry her books or do a performance involving holding her up)
[S1E16] Can make a VERY large abomination
Tumblr media
[S1E17] Can make huge abomination limbs rise from the ground. Used it to hold off a giant axe blade
[S2E02] Can take hold of other people's abominations, stopping them from moving. Can explode their limbs and make them boil from the heat of her magic. Can also make other people's abominations move how she wants them to.
Tumblr media
[S2E09] In Eclipse Lake, we see she's moved on from just creating and controlling abominations. This is signified by her tiny servant abomination at the start of the episode: so far she had been making bigger and bigger abominations, but this one goes backwards in that progression, because she doesn't need them as much as she used to. They're not essential to her anymore, but they still serve her.
She uses the fire spell from episode 12, as a potential weapon this time
Tumblr media
She uses a liquidy form of abomination goo in this episode, which is strong enough to capture and bind someone despite being so watery
Can absorb blasts with this same type of goo
Tumblr media
Can use it as a shield (she does this multiple times in the fight with Hunter)
Can form a spike-studded glove around her hand
Summons a liquidy abomination with the help of her staff...
...Which morphs into a ball to contain her opponent
Uses abomination goo as a slide - it's very thin but can support her weight
Tumblr media
Uses it as a sword, from her hand
[S2E11] Makes a skateboard with turnable wheels even though it's made entirely of goo
Tumblr media
Uses fire magic again: a much larger amount than last time (this combines with Luz's ice to make a mist, helping them to run away)
Uses the glove again (combined with Luz's ice glyphs), which can shoot off her hand multiple times like large bullets
Tumblr media
[S2E14] Can combine her abomination with someone else's to make an absolutely massive abomination. Also, this abomination's limbs extend and look quite liquidy - I think this is her same magic we saw from Eclipse Lake, but combined with an abomination this time
[S2E20] Can boil off someone else's abomination goo that was binding her
Can create a huge flood of goo (which she used to make Kikimora lose her balance)
[S2E21] Her shield isn't just a shield shape anymore, it's also a hand. This seems to imply that she would be able to use the same goo formation as both a shield and a fist at the same time
So, Amity's magic started off being limited to creating abominations. She learnt how to make them more solid and larger. After Grom, she could summon just abomination limbs when that's all she needed. In Escaping Expulsion, we saw her control an abomination other than her own for the first time. In Eclipse Lake, she had begun using a much more liquidy form of her magic in various ways, in both offence and defence. She has learnt how to make her magic stronger by combining it with Luz's and Alador's. I think the biggest thing we've seen her do on her own is creating the flood in Clouds on the Horizon. The latest episode shows her using her shield from Eclipse Lake slightly differently as it is now hand-shaped, so that could be a hint to how she will use her magic next.

If you had to pick a second trio of awakening kids to put in fates (on Hishido's side) who would you send, why, and where would put them (ie who's retainers would they be and who would they replace or where would they be serving in Hoshido if not retainers).
SORRY THIS TOOK ME LIKE FIVE YEARS TO GET TO, STEDY… i saw it and i was like “ooh i gotta think about this i’ll come back” and then. and then i forgor… BUT ANYWAYSSS
so, to hoshido????? well… i think realistically theyd go down the popularity poll. they seem to want to avoid lucina (lord) and morgan (two of them, picking one means making one and also one robin canon) so next on the list iirc is noire, brady, and gerome. and i think that could work pretty okay, but i think they just kind of all have one fatal flaw here: none of them would be down to go.
the awakening trio works because yeah!! yeah i absolutely buy all three of them being game to go fuck off to a new world because some pathetic man begged them to help save lives. gerome though?? no!! gerome hardly wanted to go back in time to save HIS OWN WORLD!! brady cant fight CANONICALLY, and i highly doubt he’d want to step foot on another battlefield. and noire… i think someone could make a case for noire being willing to come. but i think she’d prefer staying with tharja and protecting the baby version of herself more. and without proper encouragement which would mostly likely come from severa who is. not here. i dont think she’d be too willing. AND I KNOW THAT MEANS IM MISSING OUT ON NOIRE!RHAJAT BUT… come on. you think im gonna give noire to hayato anyways?? no.
so!! a more interesting alternative? kjelle, cynthia, and laurent. i think kjelle and cynthia would be so down if they thought they were gonna be protecting innocents. kjelle wants to fight, grow stronger, and protect, and her natural element is the battlefield. cynthia wants to be a hero and fight for justice, and what better than a country protecting its homeland? as for laurent, i think he’d also like to save people, but i just think this guy would also like traveling around for education purposes. a new land means more insight to gain, and more things to share with his mother when he comes back. so. yeah. perhaps not the tightest reasoning, but i think its much more realistic than like. gerome. sooo
cynthia would most likely stay a pegasus knight? i dont see a reason to change her class. but armor knight is nohrian while sage doesnt exist in fates (technically. im aware onmyoji is the equivalent) sooo they’d have to change. i think theres a few things you could do with kjelle? spear fighter is probably the obvious choice, but i think kinda similar to owain, she’d like a chance to try out other weapons, probably to demonstrate her strength. and for this im strongly leaning master of arms prepromote. yes she’d still have spear access, but having mastered katanas and clubs during her time in hoshido could be really fun i think. as for laurent… lol. apothecary. hes not really here to fight but like. he can. promote him to merchant and he’ll start throwing the army’s treasury at you. dont fuck with him! but obviously kjelle would have armor knight access via heart seal and i think i’d give laurent troubador over dark mage just to reference miriel having that class in awakening but it could go either way. cynthia would probably have… uh. ummmm… fuck. wait. i dont know. sumia gets armor knight and cleric. can we j be funny and give her merc so she has hero access :/// ok thanks
if were following the same format as the og trio, i would j plant them as retainers to make it simple. and… i think i’d go:
kjelle - ryoma
laurent - hinoka
cynthia - sakura
im completely willing to change on this honestly. i thought long and hard about it and then i went “hm. no.” and ended up here. my logic is that of the awakening trio, laslow definitely seems to be the strongest and is nohr’s crown prince’s retainer, and of these three, kjelle is probably the strongest, so same treatment. i also considered the dynamic between saizo and kagero and i just think she’d work the best with them. no bullshit, just work. plus, in a samurai class (moa promotes from samurai) she’d fit in better with ninja than a flier and a uh. a guy.
i put laurent with hinoka and i almost didnt because i think he could have an interesting dynamic with the other royals too. but then i was like “okay. of the three: who would fit into hinokas retainer dynamic that just seems to be ‘giving hinoka a hard time’” and well!!! i think!!! i think its laurent!!! i think laurent would just be engrossed in his studies and the difference in technological progress compared to ylisse (no fireworks but they have giant puppets??? the dolls with the saws??? TANKS????) and hinokas like “uh. hey. did you eat any of ur last three meals?” and he goes “no but i DID make a gun” and azama and setsuna are just like “woahhh thats fucking awesome dude” and i just think if i gave hinoka kjelle or cynthia it wouldnt be as funny. i do things for the bit. always.
and that leaves cynthia for the other two and… i dont actually think she’d go to takumi. i think sakura and her retainers is a much more realistic possibility because takumis trio is just. so. fucking look at them… itd be odd to shove a fourth person in there. it COULD work, but also i kinda just like the idea of cynthia pledging herself to sakura. she’d be all hyped about it too like “the brave warrior defending her princess?!! yessss!!” and sakura would be like. so down for cynthias flower throwing entrance or whatever (with… sakura petals?? yes????) and idk i just think they would be neat. and she could be a nice mediator between subaki and hana who just like. wont shut the fuck up. she’ll either make it better by being a nice middle man or make it worse by also not shutting up except its about something completely different and no progress gets made. both fine outcomes, i think.
and then they fight nohr and go to war with their besties forevs!!!!!!! wooooo!!!! im not writing that out. you decide how that goes. though i think a cynthia vs selena encounter would be insaane… ooh or like an cynthia vs odin justice cabal thing? oouhhvghh… but this post is long enough anyways hi stedy 👋

Talking about things the trailers don't say, which means talking about the voices inside my head that won't shut up.🥸
It's going to be long, sorry...
When I watched the first trailer I first thought that this scene referred to a beach…
Tumblr media
Well, it was all going wrong and the sixth extinction was the last, what if the beaches dried up? Anyway, what if this means by which people crossed over to the plane of the dead literally ceased to exist? Without water there's a big desert and nothing else. So that's what I thought, what we see is a beach, but whose beach? And then we had the coffin and the coffin is Higgs. But it didn't make much sense because Higgs would be trapped on Amelie's beach because of his fight with Sam, we heard the gunshot but we didn't see a body, where the fuck is Higgs Monaghan? Amelie kicked him off her beach, probably… BUT WHERE? If Higgs' beach is a vast expanse of sand, just a beach with no sea, then what the fuck?
Ok but I also thought of something else at the same time, like "why are they walking towards this portal?" - because it's definitely a portal and no one will tell me otherwise. And also an entrance to somewhere. These rock formations are definitely new material.
Do you remember the information we received from the Novelist's Son and the Spiritualist?
This is the part where I believe DS1 already contains a lot of spoilers about what will happen in DS2 VS what Kojima actually rewrote, I don't think he changed the basic constructions of the game but rather modified something here and there, when he says he "rewrote the story of the second game" I don't believe it's literally the whole story, you know?
Returning, the Spiritualist and the Novelist's Son give us information about portals and space/time travel and other forms of travel to the Beach.
I Saw Space in a Gourd (Novelist's Son)
Mr. Sam Bridges, Can I tell you a story about something that happened recently? I was preparing dinner when all of a sudden my beloved gourds popped into my head, and I just had to go take a look. Do you know what I found when I got there? The most marvelous specimen I ever laid eyes on! It was bigger than me, I swear! And while I was standing there, admiring it, I suddenly realized I was somewhere else. Inside of it! And I was a tiny baby! A tiny baby in a great big gourd world! I grew up there, became an adult, and eventually, gourd world had a Death Stranding of its own. So what did I do then? I shared gourds with all the people of gourd world, and they shut the BTs up inside them, and set them all on fire. Gourd world was safe, and I had saved it! But just as I was basking in the glory of it all, I woke to find myself back in the kitchen, and the pot boiling over! While I’d been living a whole other life in gourd world, only a few minutes had passed in this one! Sure, you could call it a daydream, but to me, it couldn’t have been more real. Has anything like that ever happened to you?
Prepper Interview: The Spiritualist
No one has been able to explain the Death Stranding, and I doubt that anyone ever will. Certainly not with science. Science is only suitable for observation. Measurement. "Objectivity." You can observe and measure as much as you like, but it will bring you no closer to an understanding. Sometimes, you need to expand your mind and open your heart. Seek the souls of the dead. Listen for the waves on the Beach... In antiquity, there were no barriers between the realms. People moved freely between the Earth, outer space, and the world of the dead. What are myths and legends if not records of these journeys? My research has only confirmed this. The pyramids of Egypt and Mesoamerica, the Nazcaan lines, Stonehenge—all gateways built by humans in order to access the Beach. Surely you can see that the wisdom of the ancients has never been more relevant?
I would count what the Spiritualist says as basically true because, let's see, it's the Spiritualist and DS is basically about that too. But looking at this arc and imagining a portal after all this information doesn't seem so absurd to me. And then you ask me why I quoted the Novelist's Son's email about the gourd?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well, a chrysalis and a sarcophagus easily remind me of these gourds too and then we'd be talking about Higgs and Elle Fanning's new character and if both are connected, then portals and enclosures of this kind are no surprise.
We would still have Lou's pod as a form of communication, I don't know how these items work to talk to the dead, because I definitely use other means to talk to them, but they exist in various cultures, right? So we'd basically have 1) a means for time/space travel and the world of the living/dead like the coffin and the chrysalis and also 2) the pod as an item with which it's possible to communicate across planes. Who will know? I'm going to open Kojima's head and feed on his brains to find out.
The Spiritualist also tells us how the Egyptian artifact we gave her made her travel not only to the beach, but also into space, which reinforces her previous document. She also reassures us that the pyramids were portals. So let's assume that there are other ways to access the beach and that perhaps Higgs has discovered them or even knew about them (you handsome son of a bitch).
I would add the observation of rereading the information with the Evo-Devo Biologist because she says some things about tar as well and how it is used not only to search for things from the past but is also a means of creation, and we have exactly that about Chrysalis in trailer 2.
"Please understand, Sam... We never ment to string you along."
My brother in Christ, what's wrong with Fragile? She gives the mask Higgs wore to Sam in DS1 wanting him to tell everyone what happens when you wear a mask and we don't need to explain what that means, the lying, the hiding, the omission, Fragile was betrayed by someone she trusted and the first thing she does in DS2 is accept things from someone who is ANONYMOUS. Darling???
This may be a question of translation and the fact that I'm not fluent in English, but to me it clearly says that Sam has been tricked or Sam is feeling tricked or being tricked by them. What would Fragile and Drawbridge have to hide from Sam? That's not a good idea, not after all. Higgs knows things about Lou that Sam doesn't. Fragile with the Drawbridge calls Sam to help them and says it will help him and then there are more lies behind all this? More manipulation? More masks?
Let's go back two lines:
"If you wanna answers, you're gonna have to find 'em yourself. But.. The ones you do find-- well that pain you nurse… will only get worse. Sam the man, in the dark. About everything." (i can hear troy's voice echoing in my ear, ooooh)
I really hope Higgs is talking about the answers about Lou, because if it involves anything else with Fragile, Drawbridge and what else we'll have new, well… we're fucked. Higgs would come out as something like "I've at least always been honest with you, Sammy boy." *smiles like a crazy*
"Don't forget. Coming on this expedition was meant to help you to find the strenght to carry on. And you have. We all know you've got this. Now it's time to finish the journey, Sam."
I wonder why Kojima cut out these lines, Higgs implying that the answers will be painful and that only Sam can find them, which tells us that perhaps asking for or hoping for help is in vain. Then there's Fragile, confident that Sam at Drawbridge's side is exactly what Sam needs, but since when does Sam accept others telling him what he needs? Even Fragile? And why doesn't Fragile seem the least bit sad about Lou's death when in trailer 1 she basically witnesses the girl die? (I've already said something about Fragile taking care of Lou here.)
"I was there. I saw her home. And it was a hellhole."
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If Sam is talking about the Chrysalis Girl, how on earth was this girl living alone in a hellish place? Was she inside the chrysalis when he arrived? Was the chrysalis her protection? Was this hellhole like this because of her? Did anyone ever ask the girl if she was a demon?
I recently read someone talking about how Higgs might be being manipulated, but what if Fragile is too and that's the lie she tells Sam? What if the person controlling Higgs is the same person manipulating Fragile?

BUCKY X FEM!READER
Part 1
Summary: After Y/N being left alone with the old man and soldiers, she finally gets saved.
Ratings: PG 13?
Warning: slight fluff, cursing, slight angst, mentions of death
a/n: decided to change my format color hehe
masterlist
————————-
“It’s been 11 minutes. Gave him an extra one.” The middle-aged man said. “Well, it’s time for the fun to begin.” He said, smirking.
Next thing I knew, I was dumped with water. Not sure how that’s punishing though. I was planning on going to the pool later on so I guess this is a free dip?
“I just want you to remember, pain makes you stronger.” Sure, idiot. I thought.
~~~~~
Bucky pov
“Have you found it yet, Tony?” I asked, pacing back and forth, worried about Y/N. “Almost. It’s like the location they’re at doesn’t exist.”
I started to worry even more. Sure, I was quite an ass to Y/N, but she was with HYDRA. She could possibly die because of me.
“Found a location. Well, it’s a possible location.” I quickly ran up to Tony’s computer to see where she was. “I know that place.” I then walked to get my weapons and headed to the door, only to be stopped by Steve.
“Wait, don’t you want us to come too?” He asked. “If I do then I will put you all in jeopardy. I can’t do that. They only want me.” “At least let me come as backup.” “No Steve.”
I ran out the door. I needed to hurry and reach her.
As I ran, I whispered a “Please be ok.”
~~~~~~~~
Y/N pov
I grunted as they put another slice in my thigh. They ripped the tape off my mouth. “Feel any pain yet?” He asked from afar. “Not even close.” I said pausing in between each word.
“Bring her to the machine.” I heard him order them. They unlocked my hands and feet and walked me to the machine. I tried throw a punch but I was too weak from all the cutting into my skin. Now, I have a lot of lines on my arms and legs.
They placed me down in the machine and turned it on. The machine started wiring and moving. Then, I felt a shock. No, not a shock, the power of 100 lighting bolts. I guessed it was an electrical chair but it would’ve killed you.
After about 5 minutes of screaming, crying, and begging for it to stop, the machine stopped. I was trying to catch my breath. Next thing I knew, I passed out. Again.
I woke up in the hand and leg chains like before, giving up the 0.01 percent of hope I had for Bucky coming. I was so weak and could barely move. I think this is the end.
I heard some grunts and screams from outside in the hall. Some soldiers went to go see what it was and I saw one flying across the hall.
He came! Oh no. He came. I see the middle-aged man go into the corner. Guessing they were trying to ‘surprise attack’ him.
I saw him walk in front of the door and saw me. As he was walking towards me, I screamed “Bucky no! Get out of here!” About 15 soldiers ambushed him but he seemed to make it out. He quickly ran to me and broke off the chains.
He was looking all over my body, seeing what they did to me. “Oh lord..” I heard him say. He picked me up and ran, trying to get to safety.
————
He set me down on Bruce’s table for him to examine me. “The only thing she needs is time for her body to heal. She’ll be fine.” Then, Bruce walked out the room.
“God this is all my fault.” Bucky said, putting his hands on his face. “You got hurt because of me. You could’ve died because of me!” “Bucky, none of this is your fault.” I say, trying to speak.
“No, Y/N. I left HYDRA and you had to pay the price.” He backed himself in a wall and slid down it, covering his head in his hands.
I walked up to him with all my strength and sat down next to him, with a grunt as I fell down. My body still needed time to heal but it was more important being with Bucky.
I went and hugged him. He looked up at me and I saw tears. I quickly wiped them. “It’s not your fault.” I said once again. “I’m so sorry Y/N. You deserve bet-“ He was cut off by me cupping his face and kissing him.
I parted our lips, wiping off more of his tears. “I’ll be ok.” I rested my head on his shoulder while he hugged my side.
I love you.

Excuse me while I just GUSH about the clones here and speak about The Bad Batch as well-
Gonna be taking from a convo with a friend on discord- about this current season of TBB, so apologies for the formatting here and missing context here. '^_^>
The episodes of the TBB I tend to like have been the Crosshair ones- and the ones with Coruscant where Chuchi is speaking about clone rights… because I LOVE WHEN THEY BRING UP RIGHTS FOR THE CLONES- ya have no idea how much I love when they acknowledge how fucked up the clone’s situation was as a RACE OF SENTIENT ORGANISMS being GROWN and then sold to die in a war they didn’t really understand, but came to understand, came to form THEIR OWN REASONS to fight, to BELIEVE in the republic, to TRUST the Jedi- to have FAITH that there would be an end to the war, that maybe the clones could be seen as something more than just a number after the war was over- the Jedi saw them as people, some senators did too- many people did- so there was hope for them…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then, they are told to kill those they cared for or respected, FORCED to gun them down- all the while AWARE of what they were doing, but unable to stop their actions- fully aware that they were killing a friend, a lover, a brother, a sister, a father figure, a mother figure, family- and then to hurt those they were meant to protect, those that their brothers DIED to protect, to liberate, to save, to help bring a smile too- only for them to come back and hurt them, kill them, to spit in the face of ALL OF THEIR SACRIFICES- all of that fighting, all of it meant NOTHING, the very institutions they were CREATED AND TAUGHT TO DEFEND were dead, the Republic that they and their brothers DIED to protect, was already lost regardless of what they had sacrificed.
Tumblr media
And then- then after those years of FORCED servitude, years of loyally following many orders, of PROTECTING those in power and unknowingly enriching/empowering the ones who would betray them- they are to be discarded without a care in the world, forgotten- used like a plastic utensil, never understood by the galaxy that they were the biggest victims of them all- USED to carry out and facilitate all that would come after them- child soldiers (they would be like 9-13 at that time and the whole acceleration of their aging is just- it’s just soo it breaks my heart ok?) with essentially no family left for many of them, They became children of a republic that no longer existed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love the clones- I love their story, the sacrifices they made, the choices they never got to make, the losses they suffered, the hope they gained, the individuality that prevailed throughout them, the drive to DO WHAT THEY FELT WAS RIGHT, and all of it, all of it is why I love the clones- especially after EVERYTHING came crashing down on them, and yet not all of them simply gave in, they persisted to the very end. It’s tragic and yet- just soooo godamn good T-T
Some of this may be very jumbled together- again- I got this from a discord convo I had with a friend where I JUST WENT ON A MASSIVE TANGENT about the clones, so I either left stuff out or reallly simplified things and ima leave it like that here. XD

OK, but really Destiel only truly makes sense with Cockles as the context.
Because it was never supposed to happen. They hadn't originally written it into any script, and only later did they begrudgingly/jokingly add small bits in. It all was born of the underlying attraction/interest between Jensen and Misha.
Don't get me wrong, there are obviously major differences, but the basic formation of the relationship is the same. Cas being this new, strange being, unlike anything Dean had encountered, over the years becoming an integral part of his life. Misha being this new, strange guy, putting Jensen on edge, over the years becoming an integral part of his life.
And Destiel follows in the footsteps of Cockles; In that it began this whirlwind of panic and confusion and overwhelming attraction, and slowly over the years developed into a deep love that only they really understand.
Looking at photos of early Cockles/Destiel, and then later Cockles/Destiel, and there's that same transition in both relationships. Honestly, Cockles evolved, and Destiel evolved with it.
🖤🦇
i don't know how i missed this ask.
yes you are on to something. there are so many instances where i'm like, 'that's not dean and cas, that's jensen and misha."
for anyone who has watched the entire show and most importantly 4x01, dean was bewildered (for lack of a better term) when he saw cas. now, fast forward to jensen saying, "...but nobody has come on and put me on my heels as much as misha did that first day. i was just like, who is this guy, is he for real? but then it so worked and i was like alright, you're a lot smarter than i thought."
with them, it's actually hard to know where to draw the line. i recall at honcon2018 (or maybe it was dccon2019) misha made fun of jensen for talking like dean and jensen asked him why he was talking like cas. like their relationship is quite unique in a way that you can tell they are more than friends just like dean and cas. like it's the way they are blushy around each other and have their own little world where jensen is almost always angled towards misha and he has the hugest grin when he's looking at him, the heart eyes etc. the line is pretty thin and i'm sure they themselves have blurred it a few too many times. and you are right, neither could've existed without the other.
then there are moments like this that solidify the whole theory that cockles is destiel's fault and destiel is cockles fault.

I’m probably gonna write smthg so here’s a lil context for a not really but sort of school au fic of genshin im planning on writing cause I wanna know if people are interested in it and I’m dying to share this au lol :)
The gods are still the gods but all are undercover (so they technically changed their name and appearance but im pretending their god name was the name they went by and they changed their name and for appearance they changed into the appearances were familiar with but like in modern format) as times have changed and people started revolting against those with visions and the gods
Ventis god name and what he used to go by is Barbatos. Also Kaeya knows he’s Barbatos as the two met before the school was made and one drunk night the two of them told eachother everything and after some healing they stayed besties.
Zhongli god name and what he used to go by is Morax or Rex Lapis. No one knows he’s Morax but he can sense smthg familiar in Xiao
Eis god name and what she used to go by is Baal or Beezelbub. No one actually knows she’s Ei.
Nahida god name or what she used to be called was Kusanali (also she presents as a young adult in this au but like she’s sort of in Ventis situation where everyone thinks she’s younger then she’s presenting so people usually don’t believe the two when they say their in the college part of the school). No one knows she Kusanali.
Also only these 4 gods go to the school this is set in as they wanted to have a hand in trying to protect and comfort nowaday vision holders for reasons that will be explained later in this description. Sophia Murata, Tsaritsa and Focalor exist just their not here as is none of Fontaine cause I love them but I don’t want to drive myself insane with a huge huge cast UP TILL SUMERU IS ENOUGH (I would have stopped at liyue but d’enduro needs to exist-)
The Tsaritsa has also ordered the fatui (which still exists but it’s like a cult/gang now) to hide their visions when not in Snezhnaya which is still very unregulated but ofc Childe and Scara got caught in Inazuma and Litue respectively lol.
The gods had to lose touch with one another when they went undercover as to make it so if one gets found out the others won’t be outed as well.
Same goes for the adepti + Yae Miko + Scara who needed to cut ties with the gods and themselves no matter how hard for some *cough* Miko *cough*  *cough* Ei *cough*  + *cough* Venti *cough*  *cough* Xiao *cough*
Yae Miko just goes by Miko which at first Ei didn’t question upon arriving at the school (as it’s not to rare to meet people with similar names) but upon meeting Miko irl she started suspecting this was her Miko. What confirmed it was one day she saw Miko transform out of her fox form when she thought no one was around. So Ei knows Miko is Yae Miko but hasn’t told her as the danger of getting found out kept increasing so she is using the most self control she ever has
In this ah Xiao only changed his name from Alatus to Xiao during this whole hiding period so his name is still Xiao. He also used to almost always wear his mask before going into hiding but when the decision to go into hiding he decided to remove his mask as no one knew what he looked like under his mask. He also covers up the markings on his arms those who catch a glimpse of the markings he’ll tell them they’re just tattoos. No one knows he’s Xiao however he has sneaking suspicions about Venti being Barbatos after hearing him play flute one night.
Scaramouche before going into hiding still went by Kunikuzushi but now he goes by Scaramouche orWanderer now and even he has to agree to the plan. Before going into hiding he still looked like how he did when what he did when in game he was Kunikuzushi so he just changed up his look to that of Wanderer in game. No one knows he’s Scara but he feels smthg is off with Ei and she feels the same about him.
In this au Ganyu and Yan fei are full adepti so they two went into hiding
Ganyu goes by Coco ( I had to ok)now she also cut her hair shorter not super short but shorter like till her shoulders and died it light blue (let’s pretend she had brown hair originally cause I can’t imagine her with other hair colors 💀). No one knows she’s Ganyu
Yanfei is just Fei now wanting to hold on a but to her past also let’s pretend she too had brown hair so we can say she dyed it pink cause once again I can’t picture her without the pink lol. She still styles it the same no one knows she’s Yan fei
The characters go to Teyvats School of Visions Holders (or TSOVH) the last place on Teyvat for vision holders. The reaosn it’s the last place is people without visions started to be scared of those with visions as time progressed bc what they could do defied all science so vision holders started being outcasted. And when I say all the charcters go to TSOVH no one has a choice. It’s government mandated in an attempt to “protect the masses from these dangerous creautures”. This is just an extra thing to explain why poeple don’t figure out the adepti immediately with their animal traits in this au only vision holders have animalistic traits and being born with them is a sure fire sign that the person will be a Vision holder in the future plus it’s adds to peoples fear of vision holders for their “animalistic nature”.
TSOVH (as the school is known as) does all ages of education even going up to university but even then vision holders are not allowed to return to their families as after graduation they are expected to stay in the dorm building as they are seen as two dangerous to be let out to the public so essentially from the moment they recieve a vision and onward they’ll be living with the same people (unless they make a transfer to another dorm to be with a loved one, well romantic loved one) until they die. This isn’t a problem overpopulation wise as there are a very very few people with visions. Luckily tho TSOVH is free as the government is cruel but those close to vision holders still fought to make it free so vision holders wouldn’t straight up die. As well it’s essentially a fancy prison and if u make people pay rent to stay there there is going to be a revolution tayts sure.
Vision holders are legally speaking allowed to take most jobs (not anything In health however) but it is extremely difficult. Even an excellent lawyer like Yanfei would most not likely be able to be an actual lawyer. This leaves most to become cashiers (Be aware I have nothing against cashiers this is just one of the few jobs they can have I’m not saying being a cashier is bad let me be clear on that lol) or other low paying jobs are the only ones available for them and even then it’s never a garuntee.
The school is sectioned into diffrent groups based on ur vision  so there’s the anemo dorm, geo dorm etc etc but the diffrent dorms do inter mix for classes taht are non vision related
TSOVH has representatives and vice representatives per dorm in the university section, the main reps are:
Jean of the anemo dorm, Ningguang of the geo dorm, Cyno of the electro dorm, Ayato of the hydro dorm, Ayaka of the cryo dorm, Alhaitham of the dendro dorm and Fei/ Yanfei of the pyro dorm
The vice reps are:
Heizou , Gorou, Sara, Kokomi, Tighnari and Dehya
The traveller’s have a special case where as they’re able to use all elements so they were allowed to pick their dorm Aether picked Anemo and Lumine pyro cause they both decided chaos is great in two very different fonts
This is the first year TSOHV is fictional so most characters don’t know each other there are some but they’ll be quickly revealed also other then Xiaoven and Eimiko who had a thing in the past taht may or may not be reignited here
Oh I also feel it’s important to mention I most likely will be writing some homophobia, definitely some internalized homophobia, and maybe (maybe) some misogyny (ALL OF WHICH WILL BE WRITTEN IN A WAY THAT MAKES UT CLEAR THIS AINT GOOD BTW) in this as I’ve decided that the church of Barbatos became extremely extremely conservative and spun a whole bunch of tales Venti never even came close to saying to add a bit of spice the fic and some extra wtf is my god and wtf is happening idk what to do for some unamed characters that you’ll probably be able to guess by this description alone lol
Uhm ya that’s the basics of the au I’ve also got  some plans for the fanfic Im gonna write which is gonna be like mixed style wise some parts may be like a chatfic and others like a regular fic. Also this is will be my first fic if i do end up writing it so don’t expect me to be a god tier author. And I’m sorry but updates will be super random just whenever I have motivation and time like idk when the first chapter will be up or how it will be set up however I already know how one ships confession is gonna work so be aware this is gonna be all over the place but I’ll try my best to be cohesive! If u are interested in this mess then welcome aboard (I’m so sorry for phrasing it like that lmao-) and hope you’ll have fun reading it once it’s out (on ao3 btw)!
Anyways have a great day/night!

NottPun, that couple (who’re not exactly a couple) that showed a lot of nuances: couch castings alongside physical favors, half of a soul to work, new beginnings and 701 to the win (Episode 5)
Tumblr media
Now it’s time to finish this up, so let’s do this.
This took me a long time to write because I was until now thinking how I was supposed to organize my thoughts in a coherent way and express exactly what this last episode was trying to convey to us and how I was feeling about the ending. That being said, I still don’t know how this is going to turn out to be but if I don’t do anything, then nothing gets actually done, right?
To be honest, most of the things I have to say are more personal opinions and interpretations of the things that I saw in the episode, some lines said by specific characters, so I don’t have any idea of how to organize this post, but regardless of what I'm going to do, let me be a responsible adult, as always: everything that you guys will be reading in this post is the result of my observations into very specific parts of the episode, frame by frame repetitive viewing and me getting to the most plausible conclusion after taking all in, meaning that most of the things will be on the speculative territory, others in (maybe) theory territory and some can (or so I think) be proven by in-dialogues and scenes arrangements, so take things with a grain of salt, ok?
After a few minutes of consideration, I realized that the best way of talking about this episode is by making this post like a conversation and a reflection of what I think about it so, instead of using my normal format, I will just talk (write) about my thoughts as they come and then give my final thoughts in the end. However, I will (mostly) follow the order of events presented in the episode, with things in bold being mostly dialogues and things in italic being me emphasizing or exaggerating my thoughts.
As an addendum, I will reference a few things that I talked about in my previous posts so, if any of you reading this hasn’t read them, don’t need to worry about needing to read those posts first because I will paraphrase when necessary. But if after this you feel the desire to read them, head out to my masterlist and you can find all three previous posts there.
Get ready to turn this post into the r/AmITheAsshole subreddit and judge some people.
·         “Do bad, get goods”: Siren calls and sexual exploitation
And we already start with the good stuff (irony!). In my previous post, in the sub-section where I talked about how Koon was promising sexual acts in Pun’s name in exchange for money, I also entertained the idea that she was pimping her other artists and using them for her own sexual gratification based of a specific scene from the trailer that alluded to it. At the time of the writing of that post, that was as far as I could go with all the information that was presented to us but episode 5 busted the door open and revealed that Koon’s crimes were more than just her selling Pun to other people or using her card manager to make her artists sleep with her: she was recruiting new artists by using that method and then using her already existing artist to bring her more people.
Like a good pimp would do to get more people to work for them. Because that’s what she is, a pimp dressed as a manager.
Sexual exploitation is a theme that were discussed before in the show, albeit in a more Pun centric way, showing how Koon was using him to advance more herself than the person she was selling because she was the one with more knowledge about how the industry worked, what the industry wanted and what the industry required for one to get more recognition within its walls. As we only had seen her doing that with Pun, it was fair to assume that he was the only victim of her wrongdoings, but things got really sour as soon as we got the information that it was much worse that what we were being led to believe.
Fast forward to when Pun starts exposing Koon and her crimes, the first thing we see in the news is a clip of Koon and Fang in a bedroom, and Koon tells to Fang to take it off (presumably his clothes) if he wanted to be a part of a series. After that, Koon turns to Fang and asks him “didn’t you said that if I could get you in, you wouldn’t blackmail me?”, prompting Fang to say that he “didn’t do it” and this exchange sheds light onto four things:
1 – Fang was not surprised about the existence of that clip, meaning that he either asked someone to set up a camera to film that or he did himself. Regardless of what happen for that clip to exist, he was aware of its existence.
2 – Koon also was not surprised about the existence of that clip, meaning that she was also aware of its existence but wasn’t exactly worried about it because it was in her possession and Fang couldn’t use it as a way of blackmailing her.
3 – The fact that that clip exists in the first place shows that it was not the first time Koon had made Fang give her sexual favors and Fang felt the need to have a sort of warranty in case things went wrong, so he decided to film it.
4 – A much more alarming thing hat we can take out of that small exchange is the possibility that they just decided to film it as some sort of home porn movie.
While Koon and Fang are trying to understand exactly what is happening, Pun continues to explain things and reveals two big pieces of information: the first one is that there is a big list of executives, famous politicians and businessmen to whom Koon sent Pun to entertain using the excuses that it was tour to channels or auditions but it was instead him being forced to please them, where Pun never received a single dime for it (I talked about this in my previous post actually) and the amount of money she got from all those exploitations, based on the evidence Pun gathered so far, were above 3 million baht (to put into perspective, we are talking about 82,202.041 US Dollars here) and this money is only from the names he had access to; imagine how many more people Pun was forced to attend and how much money Koon actually made from all of that.
The second piece of information is that Koon’s support to Fang is not only because Pun is “no longer useful to her” or something like that but more so because Fang was, and I’ll quote, “finding college students for his former manager to her bed.” Fang was out there getting teenagers to Koon to have sex with and was doing that so he could have favoritism over Pun, even if Pun was not exactly having an easy life on his end of the bargain.
With all of that, I couldn’t prevent from asking myself if Fang only escaped the same fate Pun had because he was “busy” sleeping with Koon and feeding her young boys so she could satisfy her desires, because the way seemed close during this episode kinda suggested that their relationship is more intense than just artist/manager or even pimp/supplier. These two could even be seeing each other, not necessarily being together as a couple, and using that proximity as leverage to get what they both want, as long as their plans are aligned, because they strike me as people that would turn on each other as soon as the other become a hindrance to their plans or decide that they want more than what they already have.
We’ve seen her doing exactly that with Pun, so it wouldn’t be out of character.
 ·         There’s a secret, can you keep it?
On episode 2, at the event where Pun fainted, there was this moment where the reporters were asking questions to NottPun and one of them asked about the fact that something had happened between them during shooting and that caused the shooting to be halted for a while. That question was pertaining to something that only those who were in the shooting site at that moment could possibly know, so it became obvious that someone from inside had told that to the reporters, for whatever reason.
I didn’t say that in my post but while I was watching the episode and that part came, I started eliminating suspects and took of my list NottPun (for obvious reasons, they wouldn’t want that to be public knowledge, Nott because he wouldn’t gain anything from it and Pun because that could ruin his career), Koon and Candy (because they were their managers and I didn’t think that they would want that to be public knowledge either), GusBew (honestly, they were more busy trying to do a good job during shooting to actually care about that) or their managers (even if these two had fairly good reasons to be the ones doing this, it could be a risky move because rumors could affect the series and, by proxy, the chances of their artists become more famous), so I had to be people from the filming crew because those didn’t like Pun and, given the opportunity, would throw him under the bus.
Quoting what I wrote about that, “[…] the only thing we can assume is that someone close enough to them sold that information for whatever reason. And that’s exactly what happened in this episode; someone decided to personify Judas and “betray” the confidentiality that comes with private matter regarding what happen to actors during the shooting.
One thing would be people using NottPun’s public “fight” and the fact that none of them had been liking each other’s posts to assume that they are having problems between them (going back to the perception we have about the actors relationship through social media) but other thing entirely is the reporters asking if it was true that NottPun fought a lot behind the scenes and cause the shooting team to stop in the middle of the scene, because that is not an inference based on what they saw online, it was a very specific question about something that actually happened […]”, I was actually going to the route of someone holding a grudge of Pun specifically, because Nott don’t seem to have as many “problems” as Pun had with the filming crew, and because of that was feeding the media information that could damage Pun’s image and reputation to other people. Turn out that I shouldn’t have been so quick to rule out the managers because Koon was not the only one doing things without her artist’s consent.
Welcome to the judging stage, Candy.
Continuing the theme of revelations, we find out that Candy, alongside Koon (because that woman is fucking everywhere), was the one responsible to sell the story about what had happened during shooting. Candy didn’t think that that occurrence was “good enough” to be sold, stating that “the kids were just arguing” but Koon said that “this is how news are made” and that “if they could made journalists go to events, PR would give them an additional 30%”, meaning more money for something that could be impactful. And the rest we know how it went.
After that conversation about Candy selling secrets, this exchange between them happened:
Nott: Tell me. Don’t you feel sorry for him? What did he do for you? – Nott wasn’t even worried about him in that situation, but with Pun, because he knew that Pun was the most affected with anything that could jeopardize his career, and also that Pun had never done anything directly at Candy to warrant an action that could (and did) harm him.
Candy: Feel sorry? I don’t think anyone is pitiful for me to be sorry. I just thought that if we invest on anything, we must get something back – this can sound a bit heartless, because Candy just basically said that she doesn’t really think that people can be recipients for any feeling resembling pity coming from her and she really don’t care about struggles of people (I may be misunderstanding what she meant but that’s what I could gather from that) and that as long as you invest in something, put your time and effort or any other resources, your primary objective should be to get the results, regardless of the things and/or people you need to put under you. – Oh, don’t look at me like that. For Nott…you are perfect, I don’t have to invest anything on you – meaning that Nott was a low maintenance artist, in a way that it didn’t require that much effort from her part because he could sometimes be self-managing and not really need her that much. – Let’s think of us as partners – them being partners would basically mean that both had equal shares in terms of decision-making and profits. A business venture where Candy would step in only when necessary (getting sponsorships and contracts, things like that) and Nott would contribute with his acting and charisma.
I also did say in that same post, at the beginning of the section talking about “Industry’s Judas”, the following: “How do we evaluate how much a piece of information costs? By the ability to create damage and chaos when release? By how long it has circulating around? By whom it affects and how high is the position of the person/people involved in the information? No matter what metric we use to do that, information is power and those who detain power, detain everything.” and that sums exactly the power information has in that industry, how it can be used to make or break someone, to bring attention to certain things that some people would rather keep in the dark and how some people just don’t care how information is used, as long as guarantees their individual success or the success of a person of their interest.
[Now, I wanna use this opportunity to talk about something that Candy said after the conversation about the stories selling bit and it was related to Koon and Pun:
Candy: In fact, Koon, she loves Pun. The person that is a manager, she created someone, she has to love that person naturally.
Before I start talk what I think about this bit, I want to make clear that everything that you guys will read here is based on my vision of love and what exactly composes this feeling. This bit will be a bit partial, so don’t worry if you have a different vision from mine, that’s how humans are; that being said, let’s breakdown her words bit by bit, shall we?
·         “In fact, Koon, she loves Pun” – Candy is one of those characters whose importance is tied to the protagonist, so we barely know anything about her except the fact that she’s Nott’s manager, don’t seem to know very much about some terms used during shooting (for example, her not knowing what NC stood for) and likes to be in her corner. Because Nott is working with Pun, she spent a lot of time with Koon because of that and probably spent time talking with her about other thing other than work, something that could mean that she has more insight about Koon’s personality than even Pun doesn’t. The way she says those words, is from someone who is certain about the veracity of what she’s saying, like there is no chance of people even doubt that Koon, indeed, loves Pun.
·         “The person that is a manager, she created someone, she has to love that person naturally” – here is the meat of her words and what made my brain spiral in a debate of how we use the nurture aspect of life, alongside time, to affirm something like that. Because Candy was basically saying that there is no way Koon could spend so much time with Pun, take care of him, watch him grow and not love him, that those attributes would “naturally” make her love Pun. And that’s exactly there where my problem lies, because considering everything she did, I wouldn’t exactly use the word “love” to describe the feelings she has for Pun.
First thing we need to bear in mind is the fact that Koon knew about Pun’s aversion to physical touch and, even with that knowledge, put Pun in situations where he was going to be touched against his will, so she could have some money out of it. When we talk about loving someone, that means that one of the things we should have towards that person is respect, in all aspects we can think that do not violate our own freedom and rights; in this case, for me to accept that Koon really loved Pun, she needed to respect Pun’s physical boundaries (not liking to be touched) and don’t go over them because of money or other form of self-gratification.
If you don’t respect the limits and boundaries someone placed upon themselves, boundaries that that same person gave you knowledge about, boundaries that are put in place as a way of establishing their autonomy upon themselves, can you really say that you love that person? I’m not talking about things that are harmful to that person, I’m talking about boundaries that are actually there to protect them from harm, of being hurt again, of being in a dangerous situation; Pun wanted to have control over the people touching him, that’s why he was willing to let his fans touch him (because it was part of his job and the touches were relatively short and safe), or let Nott touch him during shooting (again, his job, and the touches were scripted and he was aware of how and where he was going to be touched) but as soon as you put Pun in a room with people he does not know, without his consent, and in a situation where he would get touched without his permission, that’s a violation of boundaries happening.
If it had happened one or twice, it could be debatable that Koon had make a mistake, and things could even be amended. But it kept happening over, and over, and over again, to the point of Koon managing to get 3.000.000 baht and Pun not having access to any of it. In those 5 years that they met each other, how many times Koon went over Pun’s boundaries, how many times she put him in situations she knew would be uncomfortable for him, how many times she probably used Pun’s affection towards her to get him to make things for her? She hurt him intentionally and Candy wants me to believe that there was love in there for Pun?
The second thing we need to understand is that no matter how long you spend with someone, if you saw that person grow in front of your very eyes, took care of that person, that’s not instant guarantee that there will be love from the caretaker to the person being taken care of. Yes, there are cases where in those situations, love is something that can naturally happens but is not as linear as 2+2=4 situation. If it was so simple, cut and dry, we wouldn’t have innumerous cases of queer people being abandoned by their parents/parental figures, because there would be love involved and when you love someone, you want that person to be safe, away from harm. Tell me, did Koon kept Pun away from harm to Candy come here and tell Nott that Koon “loved” Pun? Did she made sure that Pun was comfortable in everything she was doing, or she only showed discomfort when Pun was being kissed during shooting?
The third thing is that I don’t think that Koon hated Pun or something like that, because as Candy said, proximity for so long can make you develop feelings for someone. What I think that can be applied in Koon’s case is that she cared for Pun, in a mixed sense of feeling like an older sister to him, someone that was there to guide Pun through life, and her responsibility as his manager, someone that was under her care, and she needed to make sure that was safe. However, that “care” was tainted with her thirst for money and power, with her ill intentions and actions, with her discarding Pun for Fang, someone that was more advantageous for her, as soon as his blind follower behavior stopped, and she couldn’t manipulate him further.
This is me giving more leniency towards Koon in regards to this, because she fucked up too much for me to just accept Candy’s words and pretend that everything happened for a reason. There was too much disrespect, to much ill actions, to much harm done, in more time that I was supposed to happen for me to close my eyes and play dumb. Nothing other people tell me can make me see love in her behavior, not when she literally retraumatized Pun over and over again, just because of money; as a trauma holder, that is not excusable and becomes unacceptable to even begin to think of forgiveness.]
 ·         NottPun and their happy ending
Before I start talking about this, I wanna say that I really like the fact that NottPun got their happy ending, because they deserved. I was scared that it would end badly for them and was even willing to accept an open ending that could provide a vibe that they would eventually end up together someday but fortunately we got our NottPun endgame. That being said, I cannot in good faith just sit here and pretend that I am happy with the way that happy ending was giving to us, because I’m not.
Just to be clear, I am satisfied with the happy ending. But I’m not happy with how the happy ending happened. And I have my reasons for that.
The main reason is the fact that the ending felt rushed, like the screenwriters didn’t have the time to form a more extended version of how NottPun resolved their issues (that were many up to that point) for them to actually end together. I believe that one of the reasons for that was the little amount of time they had for that (50 minutes are not enough to fix everything that needs to be fixed. This is KinnPorshe all over again), that forced them to choose what to show among everything that they had planned for them, so they decided to show the most pressing issues (Pun x Koon, Nott x Pun, how Mafia Baby’s deal ended, what was Pun doing after exposing his ex-manager, what was the aftermath of said expose, stuff like that), instead of putting a bit more focus on NottPun as a couple; because even if there were a lot of things being talked about in New Ship, the relationship that was formed between them (friends, coworkers, lovers) was very linked with those said issues being discussed.
Because, imagine this: we spent 4.5 episodes uncovering and watching in depth how Pun was dealing with his pain and trauma, how Nott was this unusual safe haven for him, angst after angst after angst, people being deceived, lies being told, pressure from all sides, Pun almost committing suicide, Nott sleeping with Fang and all sorts of things. We have this incredibly detailed and organized way of storytelling, where everything is there for a reason, everything is connected, simple things can turn out to be bigger than we expected, things getting deeper each episode and us uncovering the secrets alongside the characters, even if we had more access to more information that the rest. But, right at the end, after being showered with angst every Tuesday, suddenly we have this big dump of information, Koon was using Fang to get college students for her to have sex with, that she robbed millions from Pun and was also having a relationship more advanced with Fang than manager/artist, that Song was in love with Pun and apparently slept with him a few times, Candy was the one responsible for selling information about NottPun to news outlet, that Tai had always cared for Pun (I legit don’t like the fact that Tai was the one that approached Pun because it gave the impression that he was also using him for some reason. Yes, what he did helped Pun and would help other people that went through the same that Pun did and I’m grateful for that, but there is something nagging me at the back of my mind saying that there is something very weird about that. Also, I did not like seeing Tai touching Pun for some reason and I cannot pinpoint why) and helped Pun get the revenge he needed; it was an abrupt and sudden change of storytelling and, when compared with the beginning of the series, it make the final episode seem rushed.
And when we go to NottPun themselves, it becomes even worse, because there is A LOT that needed to be shown that simply got pushed under the rug, when in reality it would’ve made the finale feel more realistic and not just the screenwriters not having any idea of how to show two people fix their issues. We finished episode 4 with the revelation that Nott had sex with Fang (a person that Pun did not like) and we don’t know why that happened, even if it was just one time like Nott said. Was he bored of waiting for Pun to call him, so he decided to find the closest person available? Did Fang called Nott instead and offered to have sex with him? Fang sleeping with Nott was a plan of his part, to really be with someone Pun could only touch during shooting? Was Nott sober when he had sex with Fang? Why did Nott posted a story of him and Fang on his secret IG account, an account that Pun apparently had access too? Did he decided not to say anything because he was ashamed of what had happened? How did Pun got over the fact that the man that said that he loved him had slept with someone he did not like? Granted, at the time that happened, they were just fuck buddies but Nott kept talking about how he would never treat him bad but went and had sex with someone he didn’t like.
Speaking of that, what is the reason Pun and Fang despise each other? Is it a case of jealousy, from Fang to Pun? Did something happen between them in the past that made their relationship that way? Was there a fight? Did they suddenly one day decided not to be on good terms? Was Koon involved in that feud? Did she instigated or was the reason it started? Did Song had any involvement in it or he was just a spectator?
Apart from the NotFang thing, what happened after Pun stormed out of the shooting set, on the day the viral clip was filmed? Who called him back to finish the filming? Did he decided to go back on his own? How was the conversation and what were the terms they agreed on? How was the relationship between Pun and the rest of the cast during the filming? How was NottPun’s relationship during filming? Did they cut their NC scenes or decided to leave them out? How was Pun dealing with things, considering the fact that he did not have a manager to take care of him? After they finished filming Mafia Baby's s2, how was their relationship? Did they keep contact with one another? Was Nott keeping an eye on Pun from the distance? Was Pun keeping an eye on Nott from the distance? Did Nott told Pun what his manager had done?
Talking about Pun alone, how did his healing journey started? Was he still in contact with Song? Was he seeing a therapist to help him deal with his trauma? Did someone approached him to talk about the abuse? How was his relationship with his parents? Was his dad still in the hospital or was he back home? How did his mother reacted to the news that her son was no longer going to be an actor in a big TV station? Was she still keeping distance from him? Did she know that he was queer? If she did, how did she react? Where was Pun living? Was he living alone, or he had a roommate?
About Nott, how was he dealing with the fact that he was working alone? How was the promotion time for Mafia Baby without Pun? (we only saw a glimpse of what it was for Nott to work without Pun, but I think we needed to see more) Was he still working for TTV or he decided to leave the station? Did his messages for Pun got answers or not? Was he the one that approached Pun so they could get back together? If yes, how was the conversation?
I see you guys noticed that I used whole paragraphs to make questions of things that we kinda need to know to make sense of the story and things feel more completed. There is so much for us to see, so many holes to be filled, so many explanations that need to be given to make things make more sense, questions to be answered, wounds to be tendered. The rushed nature of the ending means that we skipped much of the path to all of those things, or simply did not even got to see those things get resolved.
For example, about Pun, the character with most issues to be resolved. We all know and agree that he, first and foremost, needed to give himself space to heal, leave the toxic mentality that he wasn't worthy of love, that people would only go after him to have sex, that his anger was the only feeling he was allowed to express to the world and that the walls he built around him had to stay up until the day he died. There is no exact formula to determine how a journey towards healing should work, because each person heals at their own pace and in their own way, because at the same time we learn how to use time at our advantage, we get wounds reopen, wounds that we think we're already healed, we need to face our deepest fears and the worst thoughts our minds can create. And a SA survivor would have even more onto their plate to deal with, into starting to believe that whatever happened to them was not their fault and that they are not tainted, that they can be vulnerable again to someone they really care about and that our boundaries should always be respected.
In a way, the finale gave him exactly that. A space to face his demons, space to understand that he was abused by his former manager, that his trust was manipulated to other's personal gains and that he had the right to seek compensation (in this case, seeing the person, or one of the people, that put him through that, being exposed for their crimes, instead of continuing to do to others what was done to him) and could use his experience to avoid others of falling into the same rabbit hole, while at the same time putting to rest a part of him that was screaming to be heard, to be free. It also gave him the power to decide how he was going to deal with the things that had happened to him, and the option to move on without being forced to be "the bigger person" and forgive his abusers; we can heal and at the same time not give our abusers a rest bed that a forgiveness would give them and as long as we forgive ourselves, the rest is a matter of perspective. Pun got to that conclusion and that was the starting point of his healing journey, the one that was right for him.
But at the same time that we got him healed, alive and free and more content in himself at the end of things, it feels like it’s a hollow healing because we didn’t see exactly how that happened, and I guarantee that three months is not enough for someone like Pun, that tried to commit suicide an episode prior, to be the way he was at the end of episode 5, it’s just not realistic enough to be believable. @gillianthecat  made an interesting observation, that we could view this apparent conscious decision of not showing that as a commentary on voyeurism - we are allowed to see their heated kisses and their half-naked post-coital cuddles, but not their deep dives into their psyches; we know that time constraints were a big part on why we didn’t get to see it but it kinda makes sense.
And about NottPun, I ended up making a comparison between the ending that NueaToh got in Mafia Baby and the ending that NottPun got. During the 4 episodes, we never saw any clue that NueaToh were having problems, but NottPun went through a lot of issues, but at the end NueaToh were the ones getting the bad ending, while NottPun got the happy one, like their fortunes were reversed. A big way of understanding that is the final scene of NueaToh in Mafia Baby ending, and how it could be a direct call to what was happening to NottPun at the moment: having Toh asking "why does it had to be you? Why do you have to be mean to me?" and Nuea simply saying "I'm sorry" is a parallel to all the times Nott said that he would never be mean to Pun, something that he actually did, even if unintentionally, because there are things that Nott did that Pun could've interpreted as Nott being mean to him, betraying his trust and his love. However, while Toh never actually got an answer to his question, the fact that NottPun ended up together could mean that Pun got the answer that Toh needed, something that could help Pun see past that and see a future with Nott, something that could not be the case with NueaToh (this is me trying to see something in here, because without having an information about Mafia Baby's plot is very difficult to actually assert something about that series).
All the gut-wrenched moments needed between NottPun, to purge everything that was bad between them, tear down the bridge that was connecting them and built another one in its place, a more solid one, and have a very painful but sincere conversation about everything that had happened and what was their plans moving forward were placed on NueaToh’s tab, because they never had to face what NottPun did, so they could be used to give NottPun a sense of closing of a painful chapter and to lay the ground to a possible beginning of another one but that could've been more laid more obviously, instead of having to be inferred. Basically, NueaToh paid for NottPun’s sins and got the bad end of the stick.
But, no matter how I see it, I still cannot feel satisfied with the showness of their ending, not in a show that heavily relied on an extensive amount of “show”. All we got was NottPun fighting in the beginning, the three-month time skip, them not talking with each other, even if Nott was showed sending him messages, Pun acting again and then the news that NottPun were in fact together; a lot of information were lost between those moments and it makes the story, that had been neatly tight feel sloppy and lazily written.
As a writer myself, it took me sometime to understand that being realistic is not automatically a closed door in the face of a happy ending, because we all know that we should take all the wins when we get them, no matter how small. Realistic endings can also be happy endings, provided well explained and justified, otherwise it will just look like the writer did not took the time to actually think the story through and slapped a happy ending just to make people satisfied.
That being said, even if I'm satisfied with NottPun's happy ending, a very deserved happy ending nonetheless, I wished the path to it had been more explored, so we could have accompanied that journey the same way we had been accompanying their journey into being lovers.
To be honest, I don’t know what to write to finish this post, and I wish I could say something impactful to make you guys remember this post but my brain got drained by writing this, and also the thought that if something worth theorizing and analyzing happens on “War of Managers”, I will end up making another batch of posts like this and I don’t think my brain can take it. However, I think I do have something to say about “New Ship”: it was fun knowing NottPun, have the chance to take a peek into their lives, witness the beginning of their journey as lovers and have hope that whatever the universe throws at them, they will be able to get through and survive it. I’m glad Pun got the healing journey he needed, that he got someone by his side ready to fight alongside him and that he gave himself the chance to start over. He really deserved it.
And so, I really hope to see them again someday, happy and content with each other, so I can stop missing the people that were responsible for making my Tuesdays a bit better for over a month. Goodbye and see you again, NottPun.

So... uh guess this is a story summary of my dark deception au
don’t really have a name for it, but if you have suggestions for it please let me know :)
(also thank u @kollieflower for the format inspiration:)
Backstory/Pre-AU events:
Alright, let’s start with a man named Richard. Richard was a pretty normal guy with a wife named Morgana and their daughters Vannie and Charlotte. However, that was his outward appearance around others. In reality, he was a religious extremist to an unclarified god and a dogmatist, making his family uncomfortable to be around him. One day, Vannie meets a boy named Bryce and they got along well, so well they started to have feelings for each other. So, Vannie introduced Bryce to her parents. Morgana happily accepted him, while Richard straight up rejected him, simply because Bryce didn’t believe in his “god”. This and also for the fact that Morgana found out Richard had cheated on her proved to be the last straw, completely motivating her to divorce Richard. Many things happened in between, however, Vannie had been worried about Bryce since he wasn’t seen very often (This was because Bryce was under an attempt assassiantion lead by Richard). Until on new years eve (Vannie and Charlotte was with Richard for the weekend), Richard, upset that his prayers haven’t been answered (reason is on the morgan post), makes a sacrifice to his “god”, said sacrifices unfortunately were Vannie and Charlotte. Morgana, worried that her kids didn’t call her, went to Richard’s house, only to find the corpses of her kids. Completely griefstrucken, she didn’t notice Richard with a hammer behind her, knocking her unconscious. With the ritual not working, he just dumps the bodies in a forest.
With that being said, we can move onto Sarah. So, a century later, there was this 18 year old girl named Sarah (who admittedly was some sort of a self insert). Her life was pretty normal and everything was good. Although she didn’t have any friends except for a boy named Bryce (yes the same Bryce). Until one day when returning home, she got into a car accident by an unaware driver and got her put into a coma, leaving her in limbo.
AU events:
Basically, it’s how Dark Deception starts. Richard introduces himself, tells Sarah that she needs to collect the amulet pieces to go home etc. etc.) however after Charlie’s portal (2nd like Agatha), Sarah questions if anything’s worth going back to the living realm and going through each portal makes her question it even more. It is until The Wild Crew’s portal, in which she gets caught by Wildbeast but is saved by Eris, allowing her to mark Sarah’s mind. Ballroom cutscene occurs, except of taking the amulet pieces, Eris and Charlie don’t attack Richard, instead they just take Sarah. The story continues until after all the amulet pieces are recovered, Richard now saw Sarah as useless and betrays her, leaving her in the realms. This action caused the amulet to curse Richard, not only trapping himself but erasing himself from existence.
so that’s the story of the au so far, i might make a few additions (not great at making up lore pls spare me) ok enjoy  :)

I was wondering which order you first played each route in 3H. Fans often get very defensive when people accuse them of stupid "first route bias" and for good reason. I think the bias exists for everyone but good, well written routes stand on their own regardless of first route bias. But what order did you play the 4 routes in 3H? And do you feel it influenced your bias slightly depending on that order? Do you think it's ever possible to not have first route bias for 3H as a game format? Thanks!
Thanks for your ask, anon!
I do think it's possible to be MOSTLY free of first route bias, because I saw it in action with @fireemblems24, who played all four routes simultaneously (switching routes after each in-game week). It was highly amusing and enlightening, reading their analysis of different versions of the same scene and the different routes. I think that's about as unbiased as you can get.
My first route was Azure Moon, because Dimitri is literally what got me into the game (I saw some fanart of him, asked a co-worker who's into FE about him, and when she described him to me, I went "omg, that's exactly the kind of character I love--I need to play this"). Needless to say, I enjoyed Azure Moon a lot. It IS my favorite route, and while I'm sure some of that is just first route bias, I feel it is also objectively the best written, narratively consistent route--the only one where it feels like a war really happened, where almost every plot thread that is being planted has at least somewhat of a satisfying payoff. The Blue Lions are also the only house where I genuinely like every character.
My second was Verdant Wind, which wasn't bad, but it has many issues, the least of which being that it underutilizes Claude, featured a house where I considered half the characters ok at best, and decided to put the best part into two lore dumps at the end of the route. The final boss came out of nowhere. This route has a lot of setup for very little payoff (e.g. the Deer never learn of Claude's origins). I was very underwhelmed, overall.
The third was Crimson Flower. I had been looking forward to playing a villain route, because honestly, anyone who declares war on another country unprovoked and works with people who kidnap young girls for blood experiments is a villain, motives be damned (as the meme goes: cool motive, still murder). And I can enjoy a well-written villain. Cersei was one of my top 6 characters in Game of Thrones, after all. Unfortunately, Crimson Flower has more tonal dissonance than "Barbie" by Aqua playing over a death metal video and is deathly allergic of letting anyone on the protagonist's side suffer serious consequences for their actions, so I was left underwhelmed and feeling like I needed a shower.
Finally, I played Silver Snow, which mostly felt like a copy of Verdant Wind (I know it's actually the other way around), up to and including a boss fight that came out of nowhere. The reveal of Byleth's origin also did nothing for me, because one chapter and a half into Azure Moon I had started and finished Cindered Shadows, so I would have access to the Ashen Wolves (which hilariously means that CS was actually my first completed route and lead to fun things like me not knowing that battalions can be depleted and divine pulse is a thing until like.... 4 maps in). Like Verdant Wind, this route had great potential, but squandered it by leaving Rhea unplayable and refusing to actually let Byleth interact in any meaningful way with all the mysteries. I like the Eagles more than the Deer though, so at least it was enjoyable on that front. I had also started experimenting with challenge runs (in this case, a full recruitment Holy Knight Byleth solo), so at least it was fun gameplay-wise. I ended up liking it juuuuuuuust a little bit more than VW.

Doing this except I don’t draw them, and remove all the proships
[and for sharkie, I just tagged you for credit, you don’t need to read]
And i use a wheel to pick which two, and its formatted in the way that you just told me you ship these two
[yes I know its orange, but i couldn’t log in on my laptop so I gave up and used orange instead]
Both milans
Uh- nothing actually wrong with it I just wanna know your thought process
Mel x milan (story)
??? What- where did you?.. they don’t even acknowledge each other that much-?
Azzy x milan (irl)
No- Azzy isn’t even gay, and also shes a character- this feels green
Alice x Oliver
:[ what? Alice is dead by the time Oliver even knows she exists, but I mean could be a ghost romance?? Sure I guess
Oliver x Sunny
I mean go for it? They have known each other for a while so I’m not completely against it, its like half yellow half purple for this one
Mother x alice
I meeeeaaan, could happen, shit so unlikely it’s gonna take my shity writing to happen but that would be funny, purple for the jokes
Sunny x mother
*sigh* if only Sunny liked woman… *SIGH*
Rose x Mel
They would be platonic friends, but rose is aroace
Sunny x Kepo
*look of disgust, confusion, and curiosity all at once* it’s TECHNICALLY ok, still gonna look at you like it isn’t-
Azzy x Tocada/Tocado
I could see her comforting them, thats cute (I guess?) still blue because everyone else can’t see Tocada/Tocado
Aloe x Jayden
I had a audible reaction to this one, again, nothing wrong with it they just never talk
Hannah x Jayden
Not exactly sure what you saw in these two, and tbh this ship feels like one of those ships you make because the character design looks good together-
Oliver x grandmother
No- thats like a mom to him
Tocada/Tocado x Rose
No- Rose doesn’t have the emotional vulnerability for them- she would end up hurting their feelings every day-
Eirn x Kai
*questionmark sound* [shit I don’t even this I made them know of eachother]
Sombra x Capa
Ok technically they are the same person? Ish? I don’t know, look just hear me out [explains how Sombra’s cockyness and capas tiredness is a great couple]
Kepo x Alice
I’m gonna give you another weird look but I’m not gonna say anything
Milan (story) x Aloe
You are just playing dolls now, no way you actually ship them-
1 x Alice
The original ship :D, doomed yuri tbh
Aloe x milan (irl)
Sure?.. I guess, one of those things that no matter how much thought I give it I feel like I didn’t think about it enough, anyway they would be a normal couple 👍
Hannah x Mimu
Uh? What? *audible confusion*[just wouldn’t happen, nothing wrong with it]
Alright thats enough of the wheel because frankly, its traumatizing me, now ships my friend has said B)
1 x oliver
Their Roman Empire tbh, this is literally all they ask about when i say i wrote something- good ship but doomed yaoi (or just doomed depending on what you consider 1’s gender]
Sunny x 1
They were joking about it- shit ship- nothing more to say
Eirn x Aloe
Slow burn, like really fuking slow- great couple when they do get together [or DO THEY?!, lmao I like killing peoples off]
And then the last three I could rant about but rn I won’t elaborate on
Sombra x Tocada/Tocado
Capa x Tocada/Tocado
Sombra x Capa x Tocada/Tocado
Anyway, thanks @sharkyy599 for the idea 🫶 and sorry so anyone who read all of this

Ok, mythology update!
Not that I've developed it even more, but just that I felt I needed to post something.
I mean I have developed it more, but those aren't gonna be in this post, y'all get to hear about the bear later.
Today we're talking about Keira, a god made of dreams.
So! First things first, Keira wasn't originally a god. Unlike Keter, Keira wasn't an essence that actualized, and unlike the Morning Star she didn't realize a new essence and then actualize.
Keira is the daughter of one of the Chayot. This Chayot was named Typhon. Typhon was the first to acquire and preform the duties known as the 'Scribe of Heaven.'
Typhon was essentially the keeper of a book where everything is written, and what Typhon had to do was keep a record of all abstracts and essences circulating across all primordial systems.
Typhon eventually settles down on Deus and gets married. They are one of few Chayot who were not called back to Eden during the War of Saints and Demons. Of these that stayed behind, Typhon was the only one to survive after the contradiction essentially severed their connection to Eden, thereby making it so that they lose their essence.
The reason Typhon was able to survive was because of the book she carried, as upon seeing the contradiction and how it was written, Typhon was able to realize Omnos. Omnos, on a technicality, is recognized as an essence. However, it, in nature, is placed much closer to the idea of space between matter. Omnos, per its derivative from the prefix Omni, means it is what encompasses all. It, by nature, is an essence that encompasses everything that is not an essence: Laws, Principles, Abstracts, Primordials, Outers, etc.
Yes, primordials do also classify as essences, but they are also very different in nature for their own reasons.
This sort of essence means essentially to exist without essence, or by all that is not defined. This is a hefty power because things like Abstracts are not defined by nature. Fundamentally they are the definers, they are meant to be proven and prove, but what exactly they are is, in accordance to its namesake, abstract.
Due to this, Typhon developed a deep appreciation for the stars and constellations, because as mentioned before they represent the stories by which these abstracts came into existence.
When Typhon eventually gave birth to her daughter Keira, Typhon passed on this appreciation, and her essence of Omnos.
Not so long after, Eden started to be able to slightly breach the contradiction. While they couldn't come in droves and masses, they were still able to send a single powerful envoy or two at a time. Upon finding Typhon, and seeing her switch out of Mythos, Typhon was labeled a traitor and executed.
They never discovered Keira, but a Chayot, Metatron, then inherited the role as the 'Scribe of Heaven' and due to the nature of the book he inherited, did know of Keira's existence.
For later to be revealed reasons, Metatron kept Keira's existence a secret. Keira then grew up alone with her father. Her father had a burning hatred for Eden of their actions. While Keira was also mad at Eden, she did vindicate Keter, knowing this was probably done without Keter's knowing or orders and more done on the part of the masses who'd just experienced a war due to a Chayot's essence switch.
In his hatred though, Keira's father ends up succeeding his story, attempting to kill an envoy from Eden, and creating the abstract of duality. Keira, at the age of 11, is left to fend for herself.
Keira wonders the lands for a very long time, as she grows more attuned to her Omnos the slower her body grows and ages. By the time she'd physically reached maturity, around the age of a late twenty year old, she'd been alive for multiple spans of a thousands years. She'd made friends with the great bear of Ursa, watched the formation of the open maw of Laeva, saw the end to the great serpent, watched the birth of the arbor, and came to know everything there was to know about Deus.
During this time period, Metatron would approach her multiple times. Metatron would ask her to try and write in the book, theorizing that with her essence she could change and reach metaphysical and cosmological depths beyond even the primordials.
Essentially, Metatron is an aspect of Chaos, and believed that Keira would be able to unite the First Moon and the Last Sun.
Keira, however, refuses him time and time again. As in uniting the two, she'd put and end to all stories, which again she and her mother deeply appreciated and loved. As she witnessed the beginnings and ends of every great story, those known and forgotten, that love grew into a form of hunger. Just as the empty space in between holds the stars, she wanted to hold the stories.
Due to this, Keira wanted to discover what made a story, and set out to succeed her own.
Keira went around the world, and started to handpick those developing stories that she loved. In gathering all these people, she developed a kingdom known as Centriscele. As the Kingdom developed, the land of Centriscele started to shift, the Mythos it was originally made of slowly shifting to being Omnos. Keira, instead of creating out of Omnos, was able to transform other essences into Omnos.
This gave Keira the idea that, if her kingdom extended to the Firmament, perhaps the firmament too could come under Omnos' influence, and perhaps she'd be able to bypass it. So, she built a tower that extended all the way to the firmament.
Becoming a new kingdom on Deus and a powerful one at that, Centriscele caught the attention of Eden. Metatron sent down an envoy, hoping to systematically cover Centriscele up, as he was still trying to find a way to either use or convince Keira. However, the envoy is terrified by what they see, still scarred by the War of Saints and Demons, and instead of reporting to Metatron they report straight to Keter with a heavily biased message.
Keter is put under the impression that the Morning Star lives, and is attempting to conquer Deus. Keter is enraged, and takes a massive hit from Probability in order to briefly break through the Contradiction, sending down its Wraths to level Centriscele. This ends up separating Centriscele from the rest of Deus, putting it on its own isolated plane of existence, separating Omnos from the greater world of creation.
By consequence, Eden can no longer sustain Keter on its own, and the Theophany process begins.
Either way, the moment the Wraths are sent down, Keira stretches her control over Omnos as much as she can. In an internal world in her eyes, she creates a replica of her kingdom, of all the land currently identified with Omnos. This includes a portion of the firmament. Then, she is able to transport all of her denizens into this internal replicated kingdom.
This is done in the blink of an eye, to the point where all but twelve people don't even know that the kingdom was about to be assaulted by Keter. After doing this, Keira manages to maim Keter and take his eyes. Finally, Keira creates a replica puppet body in her internal world, and then transports her own consciousness into it, so that she can continue to be with her kingdom.
Keira's true body falls into a deep and eternal sleep, succeeding her story. Due to her possession of Keter's eyes, the Wraths would not attack her, and so lay dormant in the spears that they came down in. Anything that would then enter Centriscele that is not Omnos though, they would reemerge and tear apart whatever it is.
As she has her own essence and succeeded her story without being subjected to the Probability, Keira should go under the process of actualization and become a proper God. However, she doesn't. Due to the separation of Centriscele from the rest of existence, the abstract she created cannot influence the rest of creation, and therefore doesn't prove anything. Additionally, the abstracted she created is Eternity, which is already an aspect of Time that, in nature, is unable to define anything as it is beyond perception.
So the abstract she created can't influence existence, it can't prove her essence, and technically already exists. If it already exists though, how did she create it? This involves a time paradox on account of the nature of eternity. In order for eternity to exist, it can't have a beginning or end, and yet it must be created all the same. Essentially, Keira created eternity so that eternity existed even before its creation.
Additionally, while eternity is her end, eternity itself does not have an end. In fact, it cannot end, and therefore exists not by the natural Laws, but rather by the Contradiction.
Keira constantly remains on the edge of Godhood, and yet is much more powerful than any God would be. Additionally, as she falls into an eternal sleep, I can slap on the 'Most Ancient Dream' moniker and nerd out about ORV.
This covers the three Greater Gods:
- Keter the Crown
- The Adversary the Morning Star
- Keira the Most Ancient Dream
There are then lesser gods. These gods however are lesser due to the implications of their existences. These are gods like any classic pantheon, where each god is limited to a domain. The three greater gods however have complete influence over all of existence and specifically they have metaphysical influence, where the lesser gods don't.
There are some Gods that have come close, but for right now we'll leave the lore drop on the last of the big three. This brings us to the main story, which explains how Keira and Uriel and Samael happens.

Dr. Strangelove (How I learned to stop worrying and love GenAI)
OK, I tried to ignore GenAI (generative AI) because I feared the consequences of its existence (becoming obsolete or lesser valued as a software engineer or putting non-engineers out of work). But I finally decided AI is not going away so I might as well understand what it is good for. This is a high level post about my initial observations with ChatGPT (v3.5) and Large Language Models (LLMs) in general.
ChatGPT is amazing with language (Natural Language Processing - NLP). I've been testing it on a variety of tasks where the most complex was a request to organize unstructured text into a specific database table. The results were mixed (many of the terms which I wanted to parse were domain-specific and the model had not been trained in that domain). However, it can do simple text parsing (like identify book title and author pairs in a long string of text that includes information that is non-book related) much better than I would expect (even when the input data format does not follow a specific pattern).
ChatGPT v3.5 is not capable of multi-modal input/output. When I requested a rap beat in a prompt, the response was that it could not produce audio (although this is an expected feature in v4). It did produce a rather entertaining rap for me (in text), which I was rather surprised by. In future versions of GenAI (which could include other LLMs), I am excited for interacting with AI via speech and getting text output (or vice versa or other media formats).
Efficiency - When working with an LLM, I think an initial challenge will be to find the most efficient model that will help you accomplish the task at hand. My first thought is that a smaller model might be more cost-effective in terms of running tasks against the model and doing things like fine-tuning and/or pre-training the model if those are necessary.
Efficiency2 - Another cost consideration will be where the LLM is hosted. In one course I am taking, the course is partnered with AWS as a potential host. But it seems like LLM hosting/infrastructure will be a competitive space for the future.
Potential uses for software engineers (code documentation and testing software). When I did testing with GitHub copilot, I saw that when I wrote comments before writing a function, the predictions for the function logic were pretty good. When I put prompts into ChatGPT about whether it was able to write documentation for functions, it responded that this was a capability. I didn't test this out but it seems logical. For proprietary software, using an LLM for internal documentation would just require hosting the LLM privately (I believe). I'm also a bit curious about how an LLM might be used to write automated tests (or to update existing automated tests based on small/medium code changes). When I asked ChatGPT about its capabilities around unit tests and integration tests, it responded positively but I did not test this extensively. So I do not know how specific or high level its test responses would be.
I was so surprised at how well ChatGPT understands language that I started to instinctively refer to it as "you" within the prompts and it understood the "you" as referencing itself. This is a strange existence but I think that LLMs can be seen as tools to handle some of the tedious or lower priority work that are "nice to have" or time-consuming.
