So I was re-watching the show and I had a thought about the dynamic between Zeus's kids. Ignore if you've answered this before, but how do her siblings feel about Persephone?

I kinda feel like there are parallels to Sally trying to keep Percy away from Olympian drama and Demeter trying to keep Persephone away from Olympian drama, only for both to fail badly. Not to mention that Persephone probably, for a brief period, turned into the kid Zeus paid attention to most, mostly because of how Demeter protested her marriage. I do have the HC that Persephone and Hermes get along the most, due to Hermes being the sibling to visit the Underworld the most, but what do you think? Hades might be a useful ally in a rebellion.

I haven't really thought much about Persephone's dynamic with everyone else🤔

However, I will touch on my thoughts on her relationship with Demeter and Apollo (in the RRverse) because those are the ones I know right off the top of my head.

With Demeter, I don't like the helicopter parent stereotype attributed to her. Contrary to the media's beliefs, Demeter's panic is very sound considering her daughter was. ya know. kidnapped.

it was an arranged marriage! yeah yeah it's still kidnapping, and Persephone screamed for help. it's all there in the Hymn to Demeter.

because of this, Demeter and Persephone had a very loving mother-daughter relationship imo. Demeter also wasn't against Persephone marrying, btw. In the Orphic tradition, Demeter prophesizes that Persephone would marry Apollo, though that never came to pass obviously (I have a silly take on this in a bit sit tight).

Now Apollo :D the fun starts here.

SO. PERSEPHONE'S PLAYMATES WERE ATHENA AND ARTEMIS. Additionally, as mentioned previously, Demeter was like "oh yeah Persephone's gonna marry Apollo one day".

SO I PRESENT-

Apollo & Persephone are BFFs, and Demeter is the mom who sees her daughter has a boy friend and starts shipping them XD

also! there's another myth that adds on to this headcanon of mine :D

People think Demeter causes winter. She does not - she just stops the plant growth.

Apollo aligned his vacations during the time Persephone is in the Underworld because fuck it if he can't hang with his BFF during this time of year might as well do his vacation instead so he has more time during the spring/summer months with her then!

BACK TO DEMETER BEING A SHIPPER-

Remember this scene in The Last Olympian?

The older lady harrumphed. "I warned you, daughter. This scoundrel Hades is no good. You could've married the god of doctors or the god of lawyers, but noooo. You had to eat the pomegranate."

Apollo is the god of healing. He also hold dominion over law, and played defense attorney for Orestes.

I also wanna talk about the whole 'Demeter forbid Apollo from going near her kids' thing too! Because with the context of this^, it makes you wonder why.

...but then you realize that maybe it was because of the above she forbid him from her kids - or more specifically, she forbid him because he didn't marry Persephone XD

So she ships them. But also she's salty she didn't get her favorite nephew for a son-in-law to marry her favorite daughter and therefore banned him from her kids.

Seems counter-productive, but you do you Demeter lmao XD

(and yes, Hades would be a useful ally in a rebellion...hehehehe)

talking of family day/parent teacher conferences at NRC, think about how much people would want to pick a fight with riddle's mom and maybe even jamil's parents. crowley would hide it but riddle mom and jamil parents would go full karen mode if they found out about their sons overblotting too. they would be even more unbearable than usual omg

Heartslabyul forms a human barrier around Riddle 😇 Cater clones have to hold Adeuce back from doing or saying something to offend Mama Rosehearts (even though they so badly want to punch her and/or publicly tell her off). TREY HAS TO AWKWARDLY MEET HER GAZE ("Hello, ma'am. Nice to see you again?") ... I don't know if Mama Rosehearts remembers him or not, but if she does then she'll probably make a face or comment that Riddle is still hovering around bad influences from his youth.

It was so sad seeing the total change in Riddle's personality when he talks about confronting his mom during winter break 💦 He just turns into a shell of himself... (I'm not exactly a fan of Riddle shouting or enforcing his will on others, but such a drastic change in his character when his mom is around... 😭 That's truly an indication of the toxicity he grew up with and how much his mother's teachings were drilled into him.) We never really did see the aftermath of that winter break conversation (if they had it at all), so we have no idea how Mama Rosehearts reacted. I doubt she would have heard her son out; people tend to be set in their ways. If that's the case, would Riddle return to being that meek, obedient boy in the presence of his mom? Or would being at NRC with his dorm mates and his friends give him more courage to hold his ground against some of her demands?? 🤔

I feel bad for Jamil too because he's also in a situation where he has to act docile around his parents (or else be scolded and told to behave). Constantly repressing your real thoughts and feelings can take its toll on someone, especially for as long as Jamil has been doing it... I also distinctly get the impression that the Viper parents will fuss just as much about Kalim (or maybe even more) than their own son?? (Like asking how he's been, asking if there's anything they can do for Kalim, has Jamil been serving him well, etc.)

My hope would be that Kalim, now knowing what Jamil's been bottling up, holds his tongue about the winter break OB incident, but would still be able to speak up on behalf of Jamil. As mentioned in episode 4, there's no way Kalim can make a system which has existed for several generations disappear by just saying, "Jamil doesn't like it, so can you give him his freedom now?" However, I do think Kalim's sociability (and his status, of course) can help smooth over any tension between Jamil and his family. Maybe he'd say something like, "Jamil's been doing a great job looking after me! You don't need to worry about him. He's doing everything he can, so... I'm gonna give it my all too!" And only Kalim and Jamil would know what he's really talking about: that Jamil has said he's going to work hard and be his own person, and that Kalim wants to work just as hard to be his rival and meet him on an equal playing field.

I see Mama Rosehearts going Karen mode more than the Viper parents (though I do think the Viper parents would worry about Kalim's safety and get upset with their son for his involvement in attempting to harm him, whatever his reasons were for it). There is the classic Karen entitlement to how Mama Rosehearts behaves, but the Vipers seem to be more... humble? Or at least not as self-centered... though I guess the trade-off there is that other people (Jamil) bear the emotional burden on their behalf. They're both "evils", I guess--just in their own ways.

You a Royal in this family. You had large wings maybe 2X bugger than your body. You'd never seen a fallen angel. There were many fallen Angel's out for the royal family due to their kind being locked away. One day you were exploring your house without stupid security watching over you. You hated how your parents couldn't trust you. They only weren't around because there was a big party going on and you'd managed to sneak away.

When you came below into the chambers you saw so many fallen Angel's around. Wings faded black. Dark like the night. You'd seen one managing to break free. The moment you heard the loud metal thud you started running to the stairs. The fallen angel with fire like her flew after you with high speeds. He was holding the end of a broken sword.

You felt his strong broad arms wrap around you and cover your b mouth to prevent any screaming coming out of your mouth. "hello there." He spoke in a cold monotone voice with zero interest in you. "what a pretty little Angelito." (Spanish speaking Kyojuro is just..😍) "I think I might make you mine. Mine to fuck. Mine to pin down and take all my pleasures in. After all your family took away my mother for marrying a fallen angel when not being one herself." He spoke in annoyance despite having a smile on his face. His body was beaten up and bruised a bit.

His wings expanded out to their full size. They were almost as big as you.. Maybe even bigger. He rubbed his clothed dick against your ass. "Hmm. I can tell your a virgin. A royal wouldn't lose their Virginity until after marriage." He had a shit eating grin on his face. "I'd love to be your first time."

You were squirming trying to get away. All you felt was discomfort.. You yourself had never seen a cock or even felt one.. So of course you were feeling uncomfortable. He could see it on your face, so then he put a bit of distance between you both. "Your mine Angelito."

He threw you over his shoulder and started walking away. He didn't give two shits about any other fallen angel there. Your ass was near his face while you were squirming. you began screaming for your parents. They couldn't hear you over the music. "Stop screaming so much little Angelito, they'll hear you" he chuckled, you just roller your eyes "that's the point." You said sharply. "Well why would you want to go? I'm only gonna claim you tonight." He sounded like it was normal. "We just met. And I'm not even yours." He stopped and put you down. "do you wanna do it at my house?"

"Don't you guys live in caves?" You thought about it. A cave, rocks like that are very cold like Ice. It sent a shiver up your spine. "Yeah what about it." He said confused. You could tell he didn't live in castle unlike the angels. Fallen angels were treated Like shit. It was like racism but based in your wing color.

"Sorry Angelito I forget that you live in a castle. It's not that bad honestly" he sounded like a soft tune.. One that you could get used to. "you have siblings who can rule this kingdom you don't have to stay"

"Are you sure this is right.." You glanced outside.. You didn't want to stay. But it felt wrong to go at the same time. You really never had choices like this in your life

Should you stay or go.?

(Got lazy so left it on a cliffhanger it's not that long because. Idk it's just not that long should i make this a series🤔)

HI I HAVE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS 🙋

1. What would Monty's reaction be to Stink? Y'know, once the big guy is fixed and not acting like a sewer rat. Will he help take care of him?

2. Are we going to get a oneshot of Morgan and Monty interacting in any way? Maybe Morgan seeing Monty be slowly repaired with every visit and even helping when they can, or after he's fixed and they go home together where they talk things out and have a heart-to-heart conversation? I like to imagine ""The Big Talk"" happens on the way back home in Morgan's dinked up truck after a few minutes or even hours of painfully awkward silence and a bit of strained small talk, but seeing Monty's reaction to Morgan's home and us even getting to know what it looks like would be nice, too! I think seeing the home or living evironment of a character helps me understand them better, plus it's just interesting.

3. A bit of a continuation of my previous question- what does Monty think about Y/ngineer not being his soulmate? Will he ever find out what Morgan did to Y/ngineer? If so, how will he react to it? I can't remember if he even knows they're soulmates with Sun/Moon/Eclipse, so how will he feel if he saw them being affectionate, whether he knows or not? Is he over Y/ngineer and ready to move on with Morgan? On the other hand, what does Morgan think of Monty being their soulmate, Monty in general, and about having an animatronic for a soulmate? I can't remember if this was ever discussed, I apologize if so.

4. Will we get an update on how both Roxy and Chica are doing on the farm that's set a couple of months or so in the future, after everyone is repaired and the dust has settled? Will we get a little fluffy look into their daily life, relationship and how they both react to farm work? Or rather some hurt/comfort when the sky is depressingly dark, the house is dead quiet and the memories and phantom pains won't stop? I miss my girls. 😢

5. Could you share some thoughts you have for a potential oneshot with Cassie and Roxy? Maybe a bit of hurt/comfort with Cassie visiting and comforting Roxy after, y'know, everything, or seeing her when she'll all fixed up? Will Cassie get to meet Chica? (I'm assuming Cassie has a mother that's still around so would that make Chica her 3rd mother? 🤔)

6. How is Maddie? I think we had brief mentions of her near the end but I hope she's doing well and spending enough time with her dads! Juggling repairing 5 animatronics, taking care of a baby, and planning for the future must be overwhelming for Matt, even with Y/ngineer, Eclipse and his parents there to help him. :( Will we see Y/ngineer or/and Eclipse play with little Maddie? That would be so so cute! I suspect the boys didn't see a lot of infants in the daycare. 🥺 Speaking of... how did Maddie react to the long trip to Twin Falls? She's is an angel but I assume she didn't take the move too well.

I honestly think he'd be scared of him at first. like not over the top screeching but he'd refuse to hold him, and he'd freeze when hes put on him. eventually hed have a begrudging respect for stink bc stink likes to bite

Oooh that really puts me in the mood to write about them! Maybe Ill do a oneshot tonight for morgan & monty :)

He isnt stoked about the fact that they arent soulmates, he was starting to feel pretty sure that they were. but he isnt distraught over it - its more of a workplace crush than a real true "i need you" crush. He'd be pissed that morgan did what they did to them, but at the same time, hes done some pretty bad shit to people he cares about too - its another thing they can relate about. he sees morgan trying to be a better person and respects that. If monty were a human man he would 100% be morgan's type down to a t. however, they arent the monster fucker robot lover the y/ngineer is, so it takes more time for them to get used to the idea of a giant crocodile machine being their soulmate. it gets easier they longer theyre together, and the more they get to know each other!

I might write a oneshot for it possibly, along with cassie coming for a visit!! :) it'd be touched upon in the sequel if I ever write it!

tbh I have less ideas for these guys than I do other characters (mostly bc roxy is a mother NO DRAMA and no drama means less story hddsf) but I could see myself writing a oneshot where cassie comes and sleeps over with her dad's permission!

Maddie is doing wonderfully! She's a little angel and her grandparents are watching her while Matt and the gang make the move to the new home! Matt will drive back and pick her up once theyre settled in, so it isnt too much for her. Once shes there and all settled in, Eclipse ends up watching her most of the time while matt and y/ngineer run the shop. After someone sees him doing so well with their kids at the playground while babysitting maddie, they ask him if he runs a daycare, and he decides that YES, he does! Which is how Clear Skies Daycare starts! :)

You just gave her the strongest case of whiplash due to how fast she turns her head towards you her eyes wide open and mouth agape.

She looks over to her father before quickly looking back at you and back at him, she realizes he seems to stare at you intensely, This causes her face to turn a deep shade of red so much so that she begins to cover her face with her right hand. Her father realizes Anell's reaction towards what you said with confusion causing him to start speaking

"Ane-"

"Yes! Yes we are! I simply misunderstood that's all, that's a mistake on my part how about we all go out you're here until tomorrow correct?" She says practically shaking in anticipation.

Tina

She stares at you with a huge smile her eyes glowing her cheeks showing red tints on them as she flaps her hands in excitement grabbing your arm yanking you closer to her before pressing her chest tightly against your upperarm.

"Forget what I said we're dating!" Tina says with a satisfied smile as her parents look at both of you completely confused.

"What about paul?" Her father says taking a step forward almost in disbelief "Him too." Tina says without hesitation even as her father looks at her as if she's got two heads, you look behind him seeing her mother not looking fazed in the slightest besides the side smile she gives you before she walks up to tina's father patting his back in an attempt to calm him.

Paul

You feel the back your collar get yanked to the left as he wraps his right arm around you tightly "I was just kidding, we're dating!" He quickly begins to force both of you out of the big circle of people surrounding you both asking about Tina "she's alright with it!" Paul responds to all at once.

"Wa-" before you can get a word in he already has you being dragged down the hallway despite protest from teachers "hopefully you can jump fences we're going on our first date!" You'll end up with some cuts and scrapes along the way but atleast you had a good date and a lot more things that are taller than you if you pile them up.

Petra

She goes deathly still and quiet as you say this infront of a class full of other student presidents and teachers before anyone can comment on what you said she is able to quickly move the subject back to what was being discussed without much issue besides a few glances being locked onto you.

She will only show some semblance of emotion after you both are alone which you'll be able to tell by her shaking shoulders and red ears "Was that some joke?" You look at her feeling unease due to her tone "No I actually did think we were dating, I shouldn't have just blurted it out sorry."

You step back as she takes one big step towards you "Don't be its fine even though I would've prefered to have heard that in a more desirable place I'm still happy." Her face is now completely red as a way to hide it from you she puts her face against your shoulder.

"Let's just stay like this for now."

Jake

If you said this infront of anybody he'd just side smile and not "correct" you, he'd be super vague to the person interested in knowing more but there is one more thing.

He already knew and simply played the friend role maybe as an act of revenge or simply because he wanted some entertainment but when you finally reveal your thoughts to him he'll feign ignorance "Really? You thought we were something? I'll have to think on that one." He'll look at your face to see your reaction but smirk at you.

"Just a tease no need to for the face, come on we have a busy day ahead of us." Jake just for the day won't be such a pain in the ass and will actually be quite accommodating and sincere with you, you'll also see him smiling more and even initiate physical affection bound to your limits of course.

I guess then when in the future, when the Sully's show up on awa'atlu and the kids finally meet, would Aonung still bully them? At least for the same reasons? Because I've been wondering how the dynamic might change, especially considering his brothers are also different like the Sully's. Or better yet would it also be because of ____'s feelings? I don't think it would be in her character to bad mouth Jake and Neytiri about all the things they did to her (at least, not to her children) but maybe out of a want to protect one (or both?) of his mothers. Because I'd imagine even if ____ got over what they'd done and moved on with her mates, being a 15 years since she last even saw them, that there would still be some underlying anger/fear/hurt for her and her children. I mean, kids aren't stupid and I'm sure he'd be able to tell with the tension between them that something bad had gone down. Even if my mother never told me what was wrong I could always tell something was, no matter how much she tried to hide it. I also wonder how this would change the dynamics between Tsireya, the twins, and any other children the Mc might have with tonowari and ronal 🤔🤔

yes Ao’nung would still bully them :) or kiri and Lo’ak atleast since they have ‘demon blood’ and it’s obvious they do. the twins may also have jake’s blood in them but it’s not obvious they do because 4 fingers and toes and no eyebrow hair, so unless told no one would know.

but with readers tension with neytiri and jake i’m sure that the kids would still get bullied, it just depends on if reader has told them her story or not. I’m sure that tsireya will still be friendly with the sully’s, it doesn’t seem to be in her nature to be ignorant and horrible, so dynamics would still be the same as the movies. they’re mature enough to know that parents are at fault and not the offspring’s

ok so in part 2 we got to see more of gojo x reader past “relationship”

i wonder if gojo knows about his mom thoughts about reader (her being a one night stand and nothing more) and why do i have a feeling Naomi wasn’t just lucky to be in the right place and right time…

she’s gojo’s dad assistant AND his mom approved her immediately 🤔🤔 even though Naomi comes from a completely different social circle…

i don’t think Naomi is a saint as gojo think, not saying she’s evil either BUT she might get a little help from the outside (gojo’s mom) to act the way she does. bc how come she goes from acting shy and apologetic when reader found them in the couch, to give reader tips how to be a better parent and allowing yui to call her mom 🤥🤔 make it make sense

like who in the right mind would take a toddler on a trip without both parents permission?? in many countries that could be considered kidnapping even if one parent is with the baby and they dont cross the border! - when i was six i went abroad with my mom and in order for me to travel, my dad had to sign a written permission otherwise i couldn’t exit the country and my parents were married…

gojo pissing me off when he was trying to defend naomi for the mama episode by saying he will propose to her…like that doesn’t change anything reader IS the mother and eventually naomi will be the STEPMOTHER she would still have NO say in how Yui will be educated bc she has/will have NO legal rights. she can give her opinion/suggestions to gojo BUT NEVER to reader.

Gojo has to open his eyes bc if he’s truly happy with Naomi - i don’t really think so - good for him but he has to stop making reader’s feel like shit just bc his gf goes crying to him when reader doesn’t share the same opinion as her. i also noticed as soon as gojo doesn’t share the same opinion about something, naomi becomes sad and gojo tries to either reassure her or slightly changes his own opinion 🤥🤔👁️ my mom would call that manipulation 👁️

Honestly speaking Naomi is the easy route, what were the chances they got together if reader never got pregnant? bet gojo would still be having one night stands and wouldn’t spare naomi a glance.

The reason why gojo x reader didn’t work was because they were two strangers having a kid and didn’t communicate with each other. gojo was the first to give up even tho he promised reader to give it a try. bc how come soon after he got with naomi and she was oh so perfect 🥴 how can you possibly compare the two relationships when one has a kid involved…

so the mysterious man could be sukuna (bc of the tattoos).

it’s been weeks since the last argument, reader was clearly suffering (her mom’s words to gojo)…

that’s why i don’t think in that specific moment (a stranger man opening - shirtless- readers door to gojo) the man could be a possible love interest, maybe more like a friend bc she was still in love with gojo and a few weeks can’t possibly erase her feelings for him and make her move on easily, some people can do it tho (i.e gojo with his new gf 🙄)

also from the last sentence why do i have a feeling gojo has already met this “stranger” before?

the scratches in the stranger’s back scream sex but the bruises on his face? it’s a bit sus

last but not least contrary to popular opinion i still wish for gojo to be endgame, for that to happen he really has to have a gigantic redemption arc for all tje pain he caused to reader, specially when he said he wished they never met and had yui together, thanks good yui is still a toddler and was sleeping otherwise 💔 rip gojo’s relationship with his daughter

Ok this is an interesting development....With a half year old baby at the time.

I feel like Manu's retirement would not be far at this point if they decided for Ani to play handball again...and Nubel should reportedly return from Stuttgart in 2025 🤔🥲

But I have a different point to make, with all I have read about her and them together.

1.It's nice she decided to handle it all, despite she could stay at home comfortably ( as many people attack her, that it is all she wanted and did with Nina as well!).

2. May seem as not caring about baby ( I can see the comments like that coming), but as I handball nerd I can say that second league handball is not that difficult and very well manageable,since many players work or study at the same time ( same as Ani did). That is probably less time consuming than any other job. They usually train in the morning while Bayern has trainings in the afternoon. Also many of the away games are near Munich and Regensburg is only hour away. Also happy mother = happy child, they say ?

3. An objective truth is that she is very talented player( I would say even more than her brother), she has very good vision and precise hand. You don't score 71 goals in 25 games,If you don't have it. She was clearly her team's best player in 2022-23 before baby. If she focused only in Handball and nor having a serious injury, she could have been surely playing 1st Bundesliga by now.

4. This is such a positive sign for all woman that motherhood is not a burden, it does not stop you from fulfilling your dreams and being active mother, if you have a great man by your side. Not to mention it is amazing to see everyone around her being supportive of that, because that will need lot of logistics. It is nice to see a man as successful as Manu to support his wife doing whatever she wants ! ( Also something haters said before !)

5.I am preety sure Marita is a very handy grandmother and around a lot and while she lives in Munich she will surely be involved in this a Goat a handball player and a baby project and can help for 2-3 hours a day, if needed or take care If they are both away sometimes. Also I think Regensburg will do maximum to make it easy and smooth and she surely can take day or two off if needed, since even 50% Ani or sometimes missing games due to Luca, will be an update for the team on Left wing.

6. That clearly does not mean they don't love that little one more than anything and are career focused ( as people already said about it on few comments under article). It just means that can have family and careers. It's 2024 and this is a new normal which does not mean little one will grow up with nannies and those 2 surely will be very handy parents.

7. I love this transformation,despite she will surely be hated also for that. BUT THIS woman is becoming a slaying champion of woman power from a naive little girl, many people called her... There have been a lot said about this relationship, they never reacted and they are here, married with a baby. She now has a baby ( Manu wanted for a long time) and a career......and I love that more than with anyone, because that's to all the haters face ❤️ It is a strange feeling of satisfaction there in all honesty as a fan who only wanted the best for Manu since day one of this relationship.

8.You know she never did anything to attract attention in this relationship imo. As we all know Manu wants his privacy. It gave me a lot of respect for her to be honest. I saw it as a great proof of her not being like people say, because she was kind of little influencer before. She never used the attention because she dates Manu, never posted with him, never being spotlight hunter, not showing to everyone, who she is with. I started sceptical as many people, I have to admit, but that passed away long time ago. Do not forget Manu is a great human after all and I doubt he will marry anyone without values to match his own.

It wasn't even the beer, that tasted so bitter in his mouth. No, it was the rush of memories that filled his brain, the vivid pictures of the nightmare that he was forced to live in. And, as it turned out, Eddie wasn't the only one who had to go through such awful experiences.

Steve looked somehow smaller next to him, his head hanging so low his chin was nearly touching his chest. His eyes were vacant, with such a deep sense of sadness in them, that Eddie was worried looking into them too deep would cause him to drown.

"They only care about looks," Steve continued, scrunching his nose up in disgust. "As long as I'm looking the part, they love me. Then I'm their perfect little boy. If I act or dress the way they want, they're proud of me. But the second I step out of line?"

He took a shaky breath, staring into the distance while he collected himself. Eddie reached out and gave his knee an encouraging squeeze.

"My father says I will achieve nothing," Steve sighed deeply. "That I'm not smart enough. I will never be a successful businessman like him. And, I mean, I don't necessarily want that, but it still hurts, you know?"

"I know," Eddie replied softly. He traced patterns over the leg of Steve's jeans, trying to offer him some comfort. "It sucks when they have an idea of you, and they refuse to let you prove them wrong."

He took a sip of his beer, then ran an anxious hand through his hair. Just thinking about his father made his stomach churn.

"My father practically raised me to be a criminal like him," Eddie snorted, "he taught me to pick locks, but he never taught me how to make friends, like a normal parent would. He paved a path out for me."

He saw Steve looking at him intently, his eyes full of understanding. It made Eddie feel more at ease, to know there was someone who knew exactly, what he had to go through.

"He didn't give two shits about me. He's just left, the same way my mother did. Fuck, she was such a weak woman. She never dared standing up to him. The old man was threatening me with a pocket knife, and she just cowered in the corner. It's fucked up, isn't it? To talk about my own mother like that."

"No, not at all," Steve promised. He reached for Eddie's hand that still rested on his thigh, and laced their fingers together. "My mother is insanely weak, too. She always just stands back and lets my father scream my head off because I got a bad grade. I don't even think she cares as long as she doesn't have to confront me herself."

"I barely have any good memories of my childhood, you know?" Eddie chuckled bitterly. He drank again, trying to numb the sudden pain in his chest. "All I remember is my father being taken away by the cops because he broke into someone's house again, and my mother passed out on the couch, drunk as fuck."

"I feel you. I mean... I used to think my parents were cool, when I was little. Because if I was being good, they bought me an ice-cream cone. But I don't ever remember them telling me they loved me. Not once."

"They didn't tell me, either. I thought I was an unlovable freak, and that started way before the kids at school, before Carver and everything. My parents made me into this person."

Steve nodded, biting his lip. He scooted just a little closer to Eddie, until their shoulders brushed.

"I wonder if we can ever break away from them," Steve whispered, eyes turned to the ground. "Are we always going to be the people they made us into? Am I always going to be this shallow asshole, who thrives for perfection to make his parents proud?"

That was a great question. Eddie wasn't sure of the answer, himself; like Steve, he also often worried he would never be able to let go of the demons of his past.

But then again, Wayne has already made him different, and so has Steve and the rest of his friends. Which meant there was hope for them, still.

"You know what?" Eddie smiled, bumping his shoulders against Steve's gently. "I think we can very well try and break away. Maybe we've already started."

That finally put a faint smile on Steve's face, as well. He nodded, holding onto Eddie's hand tighter.

There was still a long road ahead of them, but they were working towards a better future for themselves, together.

Supposing that the roles were reversed for MC's parents i.e, their father was the superhero who put their career first and their mother was the vigilante who looked after them, would the story progress in a similar way?

Oohh interesting 🤔 Does this mean their personalities are also reversed? So, Viktor will be the charming (and quite selfish) superhero who prioritize his career and Yvette will be the (still charming) vigilante who really cares and prioritizes MC in her life. Both of their families are still the same though and the Morozov is still a crime family?

Might turn out a bit different depending on one thing: Whether Viktor took MC in and reconnect with them after Yvette’s death.

While I can’t picture Viktor ever choosing his career over MC, but let’s say he did in this hypothetical AU scenario, I’d like to think that he still retains some of his morals and would probably take MC in after Yvette’s death. If he does and he turns out to be the good father that he is in the story, then MC would probably not going to be so hell-bent on finding vengeance and could probably let themselves find peace in a new life with his dad and his dad’s side of family. And they would all probably live happily ever after with Luka, Cara, and Ash.

If Viktor still doesn’t take MC in after Yvette’s death and MC is taken in and raised by their maternal grandparents instead… They would still live comfortably, of course (Yvette’s family is also quite rich) and would probably lead a more normal life managing the family’s companies when they grow up. But I think inside, they will be bitter and hate Viktor almost as much as the one who killed Yvette. Probably will one day snap and lash out against Viktor if they ever meet him and blaming him partly for their mother’s death. Would also try to find the killer, but with none of the resources and connections to the underworld like the current MC, this MC won’t have as much progress in it. Would actually be pretty sad and depressing tbh 😔 Maybe some MCs will try to also become vigilantes and end up being like Batman instead lol. The classic rich businessman by day, badass vigilante by night😂.

He basically received the shortest end of the stick ever even in comparison to Canon Vincent.

In the words of @visceravalentines

Dealing with the soul-crushing reality of feeling unable to show his face, being dependent on Vincent to craft him a mask to hide his scars, and having no talent, and a proclivity for misbehaving? How would he even survive in that house?

Fight back, not fight back?

His parents, teachers, peers, even his brothers.

Everything would still lead to the same outcome and double the scars. He would tumble between fighting everything and everyone with tooth and nails or be quiet and let his anger boil to dangerous levels. I can't imagine the frustration of not being understood and everyone immediately taking distance no matter how much he tries to "fit in or fix it."

Everything is a losing game with Bo and what God has handed him; even if he acts polite, his face get in the way, if he acts violent people tend to hate him rather than fear him.

And Vincent, dear and perfect Vincent. Someone Bo loves and hates with all his heart. He loves him because Vin has truly been there through thick and thin for him, has gotten in fights for and will continue getting in fights for him, has held him right after he received his punishment and is sobbing and screaming like a wild and wounded animal, the one who always took his side, always listened.

However, he doesn't hate him personally/directly but he hates what Vincent symbolizes, what everyone and even him wished he was.

It's a mockery, a constant reminder to bitter and angry Bo. One that stings much more than any tape or slap he received ever.

Jealousy? Envy? Not even he knows. But he does love his twin, he loves both his brothers.

Unlike canon Vince, Bo uses a welding mask, he rarely uses the wax masks because he doesn't like the feel and smell of it.

In an ironic twist of events Vincent is the one who convinces him to wear the wax mask, at least when he's around others who aren't family. "I understand but we don't want people encountering you and asking questions so you have to put it on. At least for now."

Bo would still be prideful and refuse to wear a mask, adding that it was "uncomfortable and unnecessary." Sadly, he has accepted, and in a way embraced, his monstrosity inside out. He also tends to lurk out in the open much to Vincent's chagrin, wear his welding mask, mind you but still. He still fulfills his role as "the mechanic" and I see Vincent and Bo being together quite a lot when intercepting the tourists, like: "Oh! Car problems? Let me bring you to the workshop". Lester guides them to Ambrose, Vincent brings them to Bo, Bo ends them. AU Vincent leaves most of the killing to Bo, he only swoops in if necessary. He has art to make.

Maybe they use the church and the whole funeral stick but maybe Vincent is the one being outside the house of wax and waiting for them. 🤔

I feel that Bo helps not only because of obligation to Vincent but because he feels like he has something to prove to his mother as well.

"I am not as useless as you think I am. Whether you like it or not, I am helping my brother create. The monster you couldn't handle is involved with what you might." Or "Why bother adjusting to society if people will see me as a monster. Might as well give them what they want." Mentality. The relationship with his parents will be much sour than it already was and he will lament not getting the love and support he so much craved.

I can see a spiteful, little Bo breaking the masks his mom would make for him.

I also have a feeling that Bo knows that Vincent is using him to some degree. He's not dumb and he doesn't let his bond with his twin blind him from the reality of it.

Even if he wanted to, what can he do? Can he even have a "normal life" like the rest? And besides, who says he doesn't enjoy what he and Vincent have accomplished.

At the moment, Tabi doesn't really know what she wanna do with her life. She doesn't even know why she decided to study psychology (it just seemed interesting). All that she knows, is that she intends to spend the rest of her life with Marie, and maybe have a family with her. But most of all, she wants her family to be happy, and enjoy spending time with them for many decades to come.

🤔 THINKING FACE — what are some of your oc’s quirks/mannerisms?

She speaks very quickly, often using her hands to accompany her discourse, very tactile, will threaten to kick someone ass at least twice a day (and mean it).

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 FAMILY WITH MOTHER, FATHER, SON AND DAUGHTER — how many people are in your oc’s immediate family? how many people are in your oc’s extended family? do they have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? who in their family are they closest with? are they close with their birth family, or do they have a found family?

She has both of her parents, and an older half-sister (Agena). Through Agena, she also has five nephews/nieces (Alfie, twins Castula & Reggie, Paul-Louis, and Alaria). She and Alfie are the same age, and very good friends. Her girlfriend, Marie, incidently, is Alfie's paternal aunt, which would actually make them his aunts twice if they married, I guess? She's not that close with her sister (due to the fact that their mother abandoned Agena at birth, while Tabi got to spend all her life with their mom, which Agena is kinda jealous of). She ADORES her niece Castula, who is very much like her. Reggie she finds boring and a bit too serious, as for P-L and Alaria, they are still too young for her to have a reason to dislike them - and they are too cute, anyway, to not love them. From her mother's side, she has grandparents: Alaria (yes, her niece was named after her), and Martin. Her father's parents died when he was young, and she never knew them. She's not close with her grandma who's an old-fashion (=read homophobic) woman who doesn't approve of her sexuality, but she loves her grandpa who is way more open.

💓 first, context : Meryamun fell in love only 2-3 times in his life

One not mutual as a teenage boy for a mysterious middle aged hairy and muscular-yet-petite woman from very far away in Asia from an unknown country who had come overnight in his town and disappeared a few days later just as suddenly which was brushed off as a teenager infatuition by his parents but forever shaped his tastes in women (plot twist : she WAS his wife, Yumi, who accidentally found herself thrown way back in time after an "episode"'s shennanigans and she tried to be as neutral as ever not to alter the past plus it's weird to see the man you love the age of your own teenage children and rejecting him like "look you are too young for me, you will find the right one one day" while in her time he is older than her, so in a way it means he was always meant to fall in love with her)

Another with his childhood friend Neferet when they were 18 when he realized how she always was there for him and how much they had in common and all the fun they had and they were together for a few months before it... didn't feel right for him anymore both because it was the start of his villain arc and he was becoming ambitious realizing he loves war and wanted to become pharaoh one say and she wasn't socially important enough for him pluuuus deep down he still thought about that one woman and his friend did not look like his type at all so he ended up breaking up with and breaking her heart and she left with her family to another town and he never saw her again (and to this day he feels like an ass about it and feels very guilty wondering if she would forgive him and in fact grieves her since 5000 years later she is probably long dead unlike him)

And who he still loves to this day like he never loved Yumi his wife and mother of his children despite a rocky beginning due to vampire-werewolf rivalry even if FROM the start she absolutely was his type physically and looked nearly identical to that woman from long ago (DUH) so the rivalry was already flirty from the start

And to all 3 of them, when he catches romantic feelings, he gets dreamy. Almost shy even, even when he was flirty and made sex jokes until then if he did like for Yumi. He becomes awkward blth embarrassed his own feelings or fearing to sound creepy or stupid, especially from someone as collected and "professional" as him usually, it feels nearly abnormal, he does slap himself a few times, except maybe the first time when being high on teenage hormones he embraces it much more easily ready to jump on her now hence why it only took him a day before going doki doki while 18 years for Neferet and a year for Yumi (unaware she was his first crush)

But when he ends up accepting it and stop fighting, he goes forward and usually does the first step, telling that mysterious woman right before she left how she can stay and they can be together because he thinks he loves her, and shyly to Neferet his feelings for her seel to have stepped higher tha friendship these days and if she is willing they could give it a try ; it was ironically both harder for Yumi because WEREWOLF and he was still nearly a full on villain when meeting her so he didn't want to soften up again after all his progress done yet also easier because they had no real declaration but sttaight up kissed and fucked because she was in heat and he was in rut from smelling it (they would both try to ignore it and not talk about it again but got super affectionate and nicer after as if they were dating without being dating, until growing sad when having to part ways and he thought he would still just be a lone vampire again full of regrets until she gave up and left her pack to join him again and she was the one to declare him how they can give it a try which reminisced him of what he he said to Neferet and they kissed again but sweetly this time)

Once he was with Neferet (didn't last long tho) and Yumi (600 years and still counting !) no more awkwardness or denial. He can still be dreamy daydreaming about his love unable to wait to see her again (the early times for Neferet at least), will love making or buying presents, will be a flirtatious gentleman finding any excuse to compliment, touch and kiss, and will be horny and passionate, because he is a big romantic who needs to show her and make her feel how much he loves her

But with Yumi who is the love of his immortal life, it is even more beautiful and blatant. They are EXTREMELY horny and passionate doing it at least once a day unless one is sick or away or upset, they are very cuddly and touchy, they go on dates very often, being a billionaire he treats her with expensive stuff very often, having become a talented chef in the meantime he loves to feed her and she being super gluttonous (a side effect of lycanthropism in my lore) happily serves as his test when he asks for her opinion on his future menu additions to his restaurant, they travelled together for centuries seeing the world together, she is his PERFECT type of woman her aggressive werewolf form making him swoon and turning him on like nobody ever did before, and being immortal blood thirsty monsters who once were human and had trauma and felt oh so lonely until meeting they understand each other like no one does either, hunting together, keeping each other's secret safe, listening and giving advice, comforting, and he feels safe enough to confess to her what he used to keep for himself behind a "smug assholish classy villain who mocks" mask when he met het. Their relationship and their hybrid children are so known among the supernatural society it does rise questions about the matter of a werewolf and a vampire together, some applauding the change and others calling them degenerates

As for his first wife, princess then queen Meritites, he never loved her, he didn't even court her he only bootlicked her father enough until he would offer her to him, and he never touched her. Not physically his type (too conventionally feminine), too young to his tastes (he loves them mature), and again it was only as a tool to power, once he was in the royal family he was not interested in having heirs with her and just ignored her for their short years of marriage not bothering to have her at least care for him one way or another and not hiding his contempt and annoyance whenever she wanted to speak with him and seeing mistresses not even in the context of a harem which would have been acceptable for a pharaoh but he wasn't interestee in either but straight up mistresses in town therefore truly cheating to Ancient Egyptian standards, making her resent him deeply and gladly lock him inside his sarcophagus chained up when he became a vampire, remarried and erased his name from history. Something he had not thought through, for someone who manipulated his way up lmao

🤔 Meryamun loves many things many don't, and is very tolerant. Peace when war is so cool ? Sure, many people are scared of blood and death, of course they would want the boring way of life to feel safe. Hairy mature muscular women are not seen as attractive to society ? Ok sure, he can see the appeal in liking them young and feminine, he did love Neferet who was his age and more conventionally attractive for a time and before meeting that mysterious lady his hormones had him be attracted to other conventional hot girls his age or older. Not wanting the sun dead ? Well himself used to worship it and the majority of people were not betrayed by it like he had been so let them stay be blind and love it, plus now he has a wife and children and friends he is aware they will need the sun to live, so it kills him to admit it but he can't allow himself to ever ler it dead anymore. Fearing blood and gore ? Well he loves war and is a vampire which many are not so it is understandable they don't see the attrait. Not liking cats when they are superior to dogs ? Well dogs are fun and cats do have an attitude, plus he basically is married to one and father of half canids now so in a way he does love both now. Modern art and music even if they make such weird sounds and are just... one color in a canvas ? To each their taste he guesses he's too old for this anyway. Eat the rich ? Hehe he knows why, and his experience with ignoring his ex wife backfiring taught him on the contrary to have the popular opinion be "eat the rich... except Lord Ankhkemet he is valid" by being very generous and do true actual good better than most billionaires for the citizens to suspect nothing so he can have the time to determine through smell which is the healthiest to drain off their blood tonight

But if there is ONE thing he will never tolerate is fucking up food to which he turns full on Gordon Ramsay, his trainees CRY in his restaurant and his chefs still sweat in his presence fearing to do one mistake he would notice. If he loves you you sure will argue. He tolerates failing ONLY for children and teenagers but he estimates adults should know for a living ESPECIALLY if it's your job and are supposed to be so-called experienced, the literal "oh darling. Oh gorgeous VS YOU FUCKING DONKEY" Gordon Ramsay meme. Meryamun loves all types of cooking, even junk food or street food which many food snobs would reject, he doesn't at all because to him as long as it is good it is good. But if IN FRONT OF HIM you let the chicken be raw when it's not supposed to be a chicken tartare he will do his BEST not to take his monster form to rip your veins out of you. Sometimes some so called professionals who fucked up a tiramissu in front of him are next on his target list to hunt down. He understands mistakes which are on THIN ice. It is when deliberate or not cared about he goes murderous. Sometimes for the lolz his kids or friends show him videos of badly cooked food and he starts swearing in Ancient Egyptian and his pupils grow feline-like and his teeth bare while they laugh

Previously, I sent an AU with time travel + the accidental acquisition of baby Mordred + season 5 Merlin and Morgana + divorced parents dynamics + UST. 🤔 I was thinking... What if the accidental acquisition is of baby Arthur instead? Morgana time travels back in time to kill Uther, but doesn't realize she brought Merlin along for the ride (he's linked to her, being both her destiny and her doom).

Morgana kills Uther via poison and Merlin tries to stop her, but he's too late. Both proceed to argue about what she has done and throw spells to one another until baby Arthur makes an appearance. Gaius makes them responsible of Arthur (you killed the king, you deal with the consequences). In summary, prince Arthur grows up with passive aggressive foster parents with magic with a great ton of issues and maxed out UST. If and when that UST gets resolved, that's up to you. 😂

Arthur will be spoiled rotten by both of them lmaoo. They will make him read soooo many books. Morgana will teach him how to do politics and fight wars. At least MerMor will agree with each other on that aspect. There is increasing attraction and UST when their ideas match 😂. Bonus if by raising arthur they will both start to imagine what it would be like if they had a magical child aksjshjwsj (which brings them back to the mordred and aithusa question and then they fight again coz they’ll never get over it 😂). Then later cue teenage angst arthur coz he doesnt have 'gifts’ like his foster parents. I think Arthur will be a more okay king because of them at least XD

They’ll probably fall in bed while doing one of those heated fights about arthur, mordred and aithusa (they’re a mess). I can see that happening. Basically Merlin would be all 🥺🥺🥺🥺 when Morgana blurts out the truth about Aithusa in her frustration and rage and his whole attitude with her will shift 😏😏😏😏

But man the paradox this timeline will induce lmao

With Igrain and Uther dead and with the prince still a baby... that means the Purge will never start. Therefore, Nimueh and Balinor are still attending court. Magic is still alive and free in Camelot. The problem would be the civil unrest after the assasination of the monarch. So... who’s gonna show up and try to take the throne? I’m guessing Nimueh and Balinor would prolly fight it out? Morgana’s birth is probably secure coz the Duke of Cornwall wont have to go fight a war or smth. But the problem would be Merlin not being conceived if Balinor is a Camelotian courtier and his future mom is waaaay over farming in Ealdor. Unless Nimueh takes the throne and drives Balinor away (which is unlikely). Merlin would have to find a way to be conceived by his mother smh 😂... all the while raising a future prince with his sworn enemy from their own timeline 😂😂😂

This timeline also have the funny side effect of morgana and nimueh being in the same room as merlin. Imagine the bitchfights bruh. And Merlin, Morgana and Nimue would be of approx the same age. Morgana would be so insanely jealous of Nimueh’s confidence and merlin’s attraction to her and and vice versa. Maybe morgs will side with nimue bec ofc she will... or maybe not.. morgs cannot stand if anyone not her sits on the throne of camelot... she’s gonna bring nimueh down.. i just know it and... Omg yeah theyre gonna fight over merlin. All the while the Gaius x Alice storyline is happening in the background with a nice nimue x gaius x alice tension going on.

Arthur is gonna grow up with this political landscape and i shiver thinking abt it. Morgana would parade him around as hers and Merlin’s child in front of nimue and she’ll be extra flirty with merlin (holysht yep she’ll definitely seduce him to gain leverage over nimueh).
