I just want to thank you for NOT writing him as a huge creep??? I feel like every other fic of him is noncon/dubcon and that is just not how I HC him at allllll 💀 I will live and die for gentleman/protective!könig. I feel like as a writer you balance that side of him out while still acknowledging the fact that he can be straight up terrifying when he wants to be (he's a PMC soldier with a fairly large kill count, known as the battering ram in canon).

Anyway idk, I like how you write him as obviously having desire for Neighbor but not acting like a huge creep about it?? Like he obvs wants her but is also respectful! Ahh, thank you!!! I am nothing if not a sucker for fluff! I am so weak for gentleman/protective König. I also love the getting to know someone part of the story, little interactions that develop into love. So maybe he's taking his time (they both are), but it'll be so sweet when they finally do get together!

Oh, yes! König's grandma hc's are definitely something I love too! Like, he's a bit older than the rest of the CoD cast, but his grandma is still alive and kicking. If she likes you? That's it, you might as well be married now. And König was probably a HUGE baby, his poor mom, was like, never again. So when he finally brings around a girl who clearly loves him (and who he clearly loves as well)? She's happy to share family recipes and traditions and pictures of little bobble headed kid König! ("Noo! Don't look! That's classified!!")

Funny enough, neighbor!König was supposed to be a little creepier! (just a little bit). I have a whole outline that he refused to follow when I went to write chapter 2. He said, "no! I am not disrespecting her like that! 😤" and then proceeded to be adorably soft for her. I'm really happy this kind of version of him has resonated with people!
