Finally finishing all these guys we’ve got charts and headcanons! (Long post)

(Body length & basic shapes I used) (it might be odd but ignore any detail on the back, the shapes are for general body shape)

Headcanons:

Seawings: - Colors range from red and purple to yellow - Aquatic is based off areas of bioluminescence rather than singular scales (because no one wants to draw all of those) - Although they average small compared to the other tribes, gigantism is more common - Wing bioluminescence gene is always present but for some doesn't show, thus aquatic doesn't utilize the wings

Rainwings: - Can change the texture of their scales alongside color - Weakest bite due to their fangs, probably why they're vegetarian - Mimic interesting behaviors - Have forked tongues

Mudwings: - Colors range from olive green to purple-ish red - Very resilient - Able to breathe fire regardless of body temperature, the heat of the flame depends on body temp - Their horns constantly grow and sometimes have to be cut due to dangerous growing patterns - Love gnawing on things, tough foods like jerky is popular - The horn covers of fallen siblings are harvested and turned into instruments to remember them by

Leafwings: - Colors range from gold to teal (and pink to olive green during cold seasons) - Can appear to have false eyes - Bug-like just like the other Pantalan residents (because they're just some weird outlier like what is going on here) - Leafspeak doesn't actually allow them to hear voices from plants but rather increase the sensitivity of their antennae which pick up on the changes in plants - In colder seasons, regions that have deciduous trees influence leafwings in that their scales change into warm tones similar to fallen leaves for camouflage but this also negatively impacts one's leafspeak ability; this doesn't apply to evergreen leafwings however

Hivewings: - Colors range from hot pink to olive green - Can appear to have false eyes - Have elbowed antennae just like their "cousins", Hymenoptera (wasps, bees, ants) - Tend to disregard personal space/get close out of habit, being close means better temp regulation and better communication - All hivewings have stingers, wrist stingers, and a venomous bite but it largely depends on preference of which they choose and like muscles, they can be exercised to become deadly weapons - They're not capable of "emitting a horrible stench"

Icewings: - Colors range from white to pale indigo - Melanism is still very rare but more likely in icewings - Can be iridescent in any color, especially visible in lighter scaled individuals - The scales on their face is very fine and is flushed with blood which darkens the area and allows them to see in the snow by absorbing light, otherwise the glare from the sun reflecting off would be a hinderance - Their wings are thin and thus have visible veins most of the time - Idk how to describe their scales other than its kinda like basalt formations - From the side they appear large but are actually thin and flexible - They can freeze to death if they've gone without cold for a long time and then reintroduced too quickly - In hybridization, they have dominant genes, partially because the animus gene - The extra mane of horns can appear randomly on the body in singular spikes, they also make a clink sound when they collide as if they're made of ice, making a pretty scary rattle when disturbed

Nightwings: - Colors range from orange to purple - Albinism is still very rare but more likely in nightwings - Dwarfism is more common - Teardrop scales are always present, highlighted when the dragon has powers regardless of type - Pitbull ready to bite kids - They CAN hang upside down as the books suggest but not for long - By taking dust baths, they dull their scales to reflect less light and blend in better in the dark - Have white fire but cant breathe for long due to how hot it is (this is mainly to add onto the mysterious factor of em and I always liked the idea) - Due to eye sensitivity, they hate sudden bright lights and will close their eyes as they breathe fire

Silkwings: - Can have black or dark accents but never as a whole body color unless they've hybridized - Wing shapes vary widely - Can appear to have false eyes - Flamesilk is rarer than one might think - Very flexible and have strong tails used as a sort of 5th limb in climbing - Albino or melanistic dragons still keep their iridescence - Silk is emitted through a spinneret on the chin rather than the wrists - Prefer to travel in pairs (instinct)

Sandwings: - Colors range from red to olive green - Dark patters often mimic a snake's - Horse-like in complexion - Alongside their snake-like appearance, they have pit organs - Tend to move like birds - Poor eyesight but good hearing - Their horns angle upwards sort of like a bull

Skywings: - Colors range from red to yellow (and green because skywings are meant to be your typical fire breathing dragon which is most often depicted to be red but can also be green) - Tend to move like birds - Weaker than they appear - Green skywings are incapable of being or having flamescales - Their horns constantly grow and have to be filed down - A flamescale cant melt rock or metal by touch alone, only via fire is it possible - It's not that they don't want flamescales that they kill them, it's more of a mercy killing because of how lonely their life can be

First of all he finds your ability so fascinating! The fact that you can grow and shrink and use your blood as a weapon?????

Also loves that u have super strength just like him!

Would definitely teach you any little games he made up to play using his ability.

Also i think he’d definitely think its cool and a little funny that both the other kids in the agency that are his age have a ‘demon’ related ability!

Would take you out to all his favorite places in yokohama if ur new and would introduce you to all of his friends around the city

When you have the (reasonable) fears or doubts about some of his ‘friends’ he just laughs and says that theyre harmless!!

When you ask atsushi about it he tells you about that one time he was assigned to work with kenji and how he absolutely REKT those gange members

You never question kenji about his friends after that,okay maybe not never but you do it significantly less.

He knows your ability is hella strong so he doesn’t really worry about you keeping yourself safe much.

And after you get a bit of training from the agency members he’s even more sure of you!

But if by chance you get captured or are in actual active danger,he loses his cool.

He wants to protect the people he cares about but he also knows he needs a clear head.

So after Kunikida gives the team a plan of action,kenji leads the charge.

If you’re in mortal danger he may not even wait for the agency to give him a plan of action.

Kunikida knows he cant stop him so he just sends atsushi and dazai with him.

For dates, other than the aforementioned restaurant trips i think he’d love taking you to parks or places close to nature.

He’d teach you everything he knows and would tell you all about his family and farm

Loved telling you about his cows tbh.

He also gives really tight hugs!

Like the kid will pick you up and spin you around! I mean he can, so why would he not!

The rest of the agency think y’all are cute af

Kyouka loves that there’s someone else her age too!

So yeah, Danny was officially tasting emotions now. He realized as Damian looked him over. The flour-y taste of concern was replaced with a salty-savory pride as he confirmed that, no, Danny hadn't been shot. (Well, he would've been, if he hadn't decided to not be tangible.) Then Bio-dad dropped down, mugger dude gave off another milk-sour wave of fear. Then Bio-dad saw the gun and huh, he didn't think describe how disappointment tasted with human words. But maybe he should be focusing less on what flavors most accurately described his stupid new empath ability and focus more on the situation at hand.

Together Dami and Bio-dad explained the normal process of cuffing criminals in obvious places so the police can find them. It was simple, didn't really require Danny to do anything, so he disassembled the weapon while he listened. Which he probably shouldn't have done, because now he was being asked to hand it over as evidence...

"Uh..." Danny fished the larger pieces back out of his pocket, but their was a lot of little ones, because he might've phased the screws out to take apart the fun little inner bits and he ended up dropping tiny metal parts all over the sidewalk.

There was a beat of silence, then Damian clicked his tongue with a little "Tt," and Danny flushed.

"Sorry..." Danny started.

"It's fine," the Bat said. Amusement, it turned out, tasted like raspberries.

Notes

Danny, holding a deadly weapon: "is this a fidget toy?"

Somebody told me once that they didn't see any Canon evidence that Sam and Tucker knew Dani was a clone. And like, their lives are so crazy that peice of information falling into a crack, sure. Where did Danny's concerned about vlad cloning people came from. Like they didn't question it, vlad is weird. They could see him doing it... oh... he did do it? That makes more sense than a sudden semi rational fear.

Also Batman has absolutely noticed some weird things about Danny. But he also knows that Danny has "a weird conglomeration" of Lazarus put side effects, and that Danny said "mood" about being in other dimensions. It might be ooc for him to be patient with answers, but he's in my story so he's gotta play by my rules.

Am I the only one who's kinda getting bored of the "haha Percy is blonde like Will, the you're not my type scene is gonna be so funny" or whatever?

Specifically because Walker looks nothing like how I imagine Will?

Like yeah, he's blonde. But not the blonde I see for Will? It's a darker tone. Plus He does not have lanky cat stretched out in sun vibes sorry y'all

That, and Nico never specified he meant looks when he said Percy wasn't his type.

Cause if we compare Will and Percy they're different in a lot of ways.

Will's a healer, Percy's a fighter.

Will is described as laid back and appearing a lot more harmless then he really is. Why Percy is constantly being described as frightening and even godlike. He's a whole storm why Will's a cat stretched out in the sun.

Both are stubborn,but Will is a lot better holding in his more extreme emotions. It takes a lot more for him to be loud when going back and forth with someone. He can sound annoyed but he hardly ever sounds angry.

That and Will can calm down others like Clarisse, why Percy ends up matching them in attitude at some point.

Like I said, Percy's a fighter which often leads to impatience as usually in a fight its so quickly placed. You have to strike first before your enemy gets you. His adhd is a lot more hyperactive.

Will on the other hand has to balance patience and speed. Rushing can be dangerous, but you also can't be too slow or else chances of your patient dieing grows. It applies to how he interacts with others too.

And I honestly think that might be why Nico clicked more to Will. Will just has more patience to get through to him. He gets upset but he keeps his cool. Literally,iirc, they were in LITERAL HELL before they had their first true out right fight.

Idk why it urks me so much now. It was funny at first but it feels it's been beaten to the ground.

I think a lot it is also I feel Will is way too often chopped down to Nico's "hot therapist boyfriend". That y'all literally think of Percy was blonde that's all was needed to be Nico's type again. Like that's all that makes Will his type.

Heck, think about the fact Percy hardly ever defenseless. If he doesn't have his sword he has his powers.

Nico's thoughts on Will why he was literally going on about him in boo is that despite his harmless figure. Despite being a healer and not a fighter. Will rushes in to battle, even volunteering to scout on a enemy right after DELEVERING A BABY AT 14.

I think Nico found Will a lot more welcoming because Percy is just too much like him in some ways.

Sure, they can outsmart opponents, they're not dumb or completely dependent on their weapons and abilities. But without them they're a bit more unsure of their next moves. We see that Nico,despite being on the verge of dieing, still instinctively relies on his abilities. Though we don't see a similar case with Percy, his abilities is what makes him great enough to go toe to toe with literally gods. Nico's connect to death related abilities radiating from him was enough to scare back monsters.

Both need someone who isn't as use to being able to depend on weapons or godly powers strong enough to topple armies. They need someone to keep them grounded.

It's why Will and Annabeth click so well with their respective boyfriends. Annabeth constantly coming up with plans, she has only really her wits and a small blade to get her the upper hand. AND SHE DOES SO. I'm sure if Percy was in a situation where he couldn't use any of his abilities and either without his sword or couldn't depend on it as well, she would easily think of a plan and keep him from over doing it.

Will,like Annabeth, doesn't have the same powerful aura that his boyfriend does that keeps others literally backing away.

But he still managed to walk past Gemini without being stopped. I refuse to believe that he can't handle himself in battle like TSATS tried to say.

Anyway, really excited to see baby Will in the show in a few years fhdh

ok ok khml beta spoilers (part one of whatever this is going to be idk i'm just gonna ramble about my thoughts and observations)

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh wah awa wahhhhhh i want this game now i won't lie to you this looks really cool i can't believe it's real. or a mobile game for that matter. imagine this as a full console game. imagine khux and khdr as this. insane

remus... nice!!! can we like. see him in full lighting though so i could get a good sense of his color scheme. ok i like this guy already i like his casual/rude vibes and the way he talks

i hope he has a brother named romulus and i hope romulus kills him it needs to happen sorry. idc whether it's shock value or something very narratively heavy i need fratricide in this game idc

so they're doing the good old 'every other character in the cutscene is gonna be voiced except the protagonist whose dialogue just shows up silently but their mouth still moves' thing huh. can't wait to see how this plays out. looks like player is still gonna have limited dialogue overall so that works. but like man i kinda wish they'd just give player a canon voice or two or three. imagine that being something you could choose

i'm gonna read too deeply into player's amnesia including their name but not including their fighting ability. like they could've had you type in a name during the character creation screen and had player respond to the question later but nope we specifically establish that they don't remember and have to make one up on the spot. you know what they do remember though? combat. weapons. carrying out their missions as a keyblade wielder, all they were ever meant to do. gonna be normal about this for sure

so after multiple joke posts we finally have a real freya... i don't know why i'm surprised. dunno if i vibe with her full outfit yet (i think the red jacket uniform is kinda overbearing and might get old fast if both she and remus and probably at least 20 other characters will have it but in a cleaner or more stylized render i'd love it probably) but like dude the cat ear accessories... were those there last time? did i not notice them last time? those are perfect

literally ALL of this music is so cheerful... the dearly beloved is super upbeat, the new field theme for scala and the astral plane and combat and the tutorial menus etc etc... it's so strange. i KNOW they're hiding the absolute tragedy from us. goth aesthetic combined with whimsical peaceful tunes. what's happening here

the. the pit... that's their portal?? when you wanna go to the astral plane you jump in The Machinery Hell Pit? absolutely not you would never convince me to do that

so begins the gacha/microtransaction hell. i sure hope it's easy enough to get whatever ingame currency there is through other means

You know what, they ain't kiddin'.

17 arcanes before taking into account acolytes, and that's playing solo as a console host so less killin' goin' on?

Yeah I get it. They really ain't kiddin' about Void Cascade being a great farm lol

I didn't stick around for level cap (obviously), now that I think about, have I ever stuck around for level cap? Kinda doubt I have because when would I have bothered?

That's another thing to consider since that means even less arcanes since apparently thrax spawn faster at higher levels (hearsay that I decide to believe)!

I digress. Didn't stick around because I was kinda getting bothered by nitty gritty things. At like the 20 minute mark I had a situation where I got distracted recapping an exolizer at "c" when the map was swapping to "a" spawns, and when I zoned back in from my daydream play I had to run like 700m to cap 3 exos at "a" before it timed out.

A VERY bad play on my part due to forgetting the game type loves making you run from C to A spawns. I wish it just went ABCBABCBA in spawns instead of just going "Haha, go run now :)" but I already knew I didn't like that mechanic coming into this lol

From like the 6 minute mark all the way to closing I had a bugged thrax just stuck in place in ghost form whom never got to die and give me any loot, and he was permanently marked on my map as a "risk" because he was next to an exo spawn, but you know, can't do anything about that because buggy enemy lol

Also had a moment that annoyed me where I jumped into an exo at the exact moment an acolyte spawned on my operator and one framed me. Obviously, you're operator, that's not really death, but something about going "Okay, time to do the boring chore part of this game type *SMACK*.... okay. Time To Do The Boring Chore Part Again Because Someone Was Rude." got to me. That's strictly my disinterest in the game mechanics of this game mode being exasperated by pure chance, and it didn't even negatively impact the mission- just my mood towards it lmao

Also energy was annoying. Considering my oberon can spam like hell in anything else with no energy issues this makes me curious on a basic game mechanic I might not know.

When you're in operator, I know your frame takes like 99% less damage or some nonsense (still CAPABLE of death, but unlikely outside of niche cases from what I've experienced)-

Do dick head mag thrax and energy eximus still target your frame and just drain you dry? Because I swear I'd hop into an exo with full energy, 'disable' it, swap to my frame, and just have 0 energy so I'm basically just playing a weapon platform with no weapon platform abilities, it got annoying by like the 3rd time it hit me like that -.-

Probably wouldn't have been an issue I ran into in a group due to diverted enemy focus. But I wanted to run solo because, IDK, I like doing shit solo sometimes lol

So overall I can now say, holy shit the people who hold Void Cascade on a pedestal as a fantastic grind- they are right as hell.

But, even knowing that, still not a fan of the game mode.

Running every 3 "zones" from C to A is boring. The chaos fucking rules! But then the game mechanic of getting knocked out of your frame to do busy work spraying portals is like the opposite of fun and my mind focuses on it instead of glossing over it like I assume others easily do.

Boring game mode with awesome chaos surrounding it and fantastic rewards- that's 2 for 3, pretty dang nice- I definitely have a newfound appreciation of it and might try hopping in to actually hit cap with some friends now that I know it's capable of being fun (definitely moreso with some friends lol) :P

warning. eyestrain. if you're on max brightness and its 3 am proceed with causion. same if you hate a random dude on tumblr ramble for way to long. this includes more text then i care to admit.

icons of some hollow knight silksong characters except i really, and i mean really went overboard with special effects and other random stuff that mildly fits their character (and even that is somewhat questionable) to add as much eyestrain as i physically can and looks not bad. also i wanted to make more icons, but i lost interest and i really just wanna post something after no new art for like 2-3 weeks. also i used those custom pattens brushes to much and it shows.

this whole thing was me just wanting to draw trobbio once more and i thought 'why not an icon even though you've replaced your pfp not even a month', so i did. im not even gonna use it as a pfp, im just leaving it here and then i did the same for seth. and i spiraled from there.

trobbio is the only one without those outlines and it rally bothers me, but due to how i layered i cant fix it. it is what it is. also it makes it more flashy, and if someone here has a flashy icon its him.

seth's one is the least eyestrain one. but i like the darker tones, so im keeping it this way. honestly, might make it my pfp for a while. its probably my favorite one. yep, i peaked at the second one.

i was looking at references for sherma and saw someone drew him with those pink flowers and it was to cute not to steal. i forgot who made it, but just so you know: the flowers weren't my original idea.

this is my first lace icon. i dont really like it, so i made 2 for her. the only reason im posting it is cuz i've watd to much time on it.

and her's the second one. this one kinda mirrors hornet's icon. why? well good question dear viewer (or whatever you call someone who actually reads this (which if you do, thank you, i dont type these for nothing)). its because i can. also i still dont love how the second one came out. i guess not everyone can draw every character. partly due to her needle? sword? thing she fight with still has lines about as straight as i am, and likely she is as well. this is the one with the clearest use of a shape brush.

i hope hornets needle doesn't look thrown in, cuz thats exactly what i did. it was to kinda mirror lace's battle weapon and its kinda silvery and lace's is gold, and ok, you get it now. honestly, hornets one is one of my more favorites, even though the star brush is to obvious.

shakra's icon is ok. honestly, probably the least remarkable one. i dont really have anything interesting to add. ok 1 thing mildly interesting. i think this one took th longest to make the character for. thats about it really. and like lace, i can barely draw her. also why and how did i get worse at using star brushes? they weren't as obvious on the first few and on the last 3 it was clear as day. it is what it is i suppose.

also, before anyone asks, if you really, and i mean really somehow wanna use them, go ahead, credit is appriciated, though not needed. just dont say you made them alright. or do. idk why you wanna claim these are yours though, but i lack the ability to care, nor come after you irl. but please dont do it, its kind of an asshole move imo. if you still do, i guess i cant stop you, though if you steal art im just gonna assume you're kind of a prick to be around. also i still have enough material to make a part 2 (like carmlita and forg daughter). but im busy making other stuff rn.

Okay so for those of you who haven't read/watched Naruto here's a list of terminology used throughout the show/fic so please refer to this if you're looking for a quick definition. Also feel free to reach out if you have questions (dm, ask, comment, etc.) WARNING: If you plan to watch the show/read the manga in the future DO NOT GOOGLE ANYTHING you will get so many spoilers from a simple google search that could possibly ruin the show. p.s. I'll probably use other terms as the story progresses so I'll update the list as I go along.

Shinobi: General term for ninja Sub categories include: Genin, Chunin, Jonin which is listed in level of seniority (Genin being the lowest rank and Jonin being the highest)

Additional term: The Legendary Sannin, which relates to the legendary three shinobis (Lady Tsunade, Master Jiraiya and Orochimaru)

Hokage: Leader/president/strongest shinobi/idk someone that makes decisions for the whole leaf village and is in charge of their military of shinobi. Lady Tsunade being the current Hokage.

Leaf village: One of the many hidden villages in The Land of Fire. This is where the main characters in the show/this fic live

Ninja Tools:

Kunai: A knife that is often thrown but can also be used for close combat.

Shuriken: Basically a ninja star lmao Paper Bomb: a slip of paper that explodes when you throw it/trigger it.

Jutsu: Various powers that each shinobi possesses.

Ninjutsu: any technique that uses chakra that gives the wielder powers that normal people wouldn't be able to perform. (the below terms also fall under this category)

Genjutsu: Sensory illusions/hypnosis that you can be put under and can often be stopped by using a hand sign followed by the term "release" but at times you're unaware of the fact that you're in a genjutsu. (Can cause pain physical pain since pain is in the mind)

Taijutsu: A physical form of fighting (martial arts)

Visual Prowess: Special type of eyes (mostly hereditary) that gives you special abilities when infused with chakra. Examples would be Sharingan, Byakugan and Rinnegan. Sharingan being the only one spoken about in this fic thus far.

Sharingan: a visual prowess belonging only to the uchiha clan.

Sasuke Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha and Kakashi Hatake possess the sharingan. (Kakashi however only possesses the sharingan in his left eye but that's lore you will find out about if you watch the show lmao)

Gives it's weirder abilities such as allowing them to see other people's chakra as color, copy other's jutsu and helps them anticipate their opponents moves almost instantaneously, allowing them to doge most attacks.

Has the ability to perform stronger forms of Genjutsu than someone without a visual prowess.

These are just some of the basic abilities of the Sharingan but it can become a very powerful weapon when used properly.

If you read all of this until now then wow I love you but regardless I figured it might be a helpful tool for people who might be interested in the show or fic. 2.21.23 (but actually drawn at least a month ago - and now posted 6.2.23) - some xy fic sketches. rambles beneath the cut

in my Great Fanfiction Rewrite of the (X)Y plot because it was sadly lacking in some places, Calem/Xavier kinda sorta joins Team Flare! To be honest this isn't my 100% original idea, I saw someone post once on here somewhere how cool it would've been if your rival, frustrated with constantly losing to you, joined Team Flare in desperation to beat you. I have taken this concept and am running with it. Xavier in my story Did Not take kindly to losing the Mega Ring to Yvonne: a rookie trainer, a girl, a girl who doesn't fall into his preconceived notions of what a young female trainer should be like, a girl he initially assumed he would be in a relationship with and he'd be the tough trainer in contrast to her contest abilities, someone from a poorer family from his. He gets uhh a little wild trying to prove his might makes right (deeply sheltered child who was never exposed to anything that would upset him syndrome)

In my head Y is the canon, but I'm doing a ramshackle combo into a tentative Z in which Yvonne and Yveltal fight Lysandre together, but also Xavier and Xerneas at some point and Zygarde is there too as a result of Team Flare managing to find BOTH legendaries (who in the anime were depicted as being right on top of each other) but only figuring out how to use Yveltal in the Ultimate Weapon. Xavier steals the Poke Flute and uses it to wake Xerneas (willingly or not - he's irrational, but IDK how down he'd be for the "destroy the world" plot, but Xerneas DEFINITELY uses ~fairy powers~ to fuck with his mind)

Yvonne has vitiligo! Dyes her hair blonde for the first halfish of the game, lets it grow out to its natural brown as a symbolic representation of not wanting to conform to certain beauty standards. She starts wearing very snazzy suits post-game, avoiding short sleeves and skirts

My HC is that Sycamore is her da! He and Grace were an item back in the day when Grace was in Kalos Rhyhorn racing, and she only realized she was pregnant when she'd already left. Sycamore didn't feel ready at all to be an active father, and Grace didn't feel any strong need to be in a relationship with him/have him be a part of Yvonne's life with a strong circle of friends and family who'd help with childrearing, so he stayed in Kalos and continued his work on evolution and Fairy Types in Kalos, every other month or so receiving an email of an update of Yvonne's life in progress. Eventually Grace's racing injuries/chronic pain is too debilitating to continue racing, and Sycamore offers his grandparents' cottage in the starting town. Yvonne knows her father is an academic/scientist in Kalos but doesn't know it's him, and doesn't want to know until she's more comfortable in the region. She DOES start to suspect though, but only confirms it mid/post-Geosenge crisis (haven't decided how long that's drawn out) in a hospital bed. Sycamore (after years of watching his daughter grow up from afar, and has become more invested in her life in the past few years) is delighted that she's willing have a familial connection

a lot of people draw Yveltal as a bird (super cool, no judgement) but it's very dragon-y to me with the hands/wings, kinda like how bat wings are just elongated fingers with skin between them. The logic of the tail eludes me though. It's Yvonne's buddy post game! As much as she does not want it to be her buddy! But when a super powerful ancient deity of death decides it wants to be your friend there's not a lot you can do to stop it. She warms up to it eventually. They have a fun time threatening Malva together

Korrina is a sports lesbian

Shauna slight redesign. She and Yvonne become an item around Laverre. In my story there's a cool Ren Faire-ish thing happening when they arrive and they both get a little tipsy and kiss and spend the evening running around in semi-accurate reenactment dresses giggling and dancing and giving each other wildflowers

Source is my fantasies about krs BCZ I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.ahem.

Ok so we know that krs was a strategist in team 1 right? And from what we know even though he was a strategist he still went to the frontlines even if LSH and CJS told him not to.

And from what we know he didn’t have any other talents or skills like record (not instant bcz he gets that when he becomes team leader)

So I had this idea that due to LSH and CJS opposition to him recklessly running to the frontlines, he decided to help them in ways other than strategy.

Which is what this au is about! SNIPER KRS HELL YAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAAYYAYYA

If you think that normal bullets or weapons won’t work on the monsters, which you are right but what if the sniper and bullets he uses are created from a special ability user.

I don’t really have a name for them or gender or really anything appearance wise, but you can have them be mysterious or something or you creat an identity for them if you like.

But their ability isn’t support or attack based, not even healing or anything else.

It’s creation. Only weapons tho, which is plenty of things so they were dubbed the ‘special’ grade 1 ability user bcz of how useful it is. I didn’t really think of any rules or backlash the ability might have but you don’t really need to explain that.

So about how they(special grade 1 ability user) create the sniper for krs is up to you.

But they should probably know each other beforehand so setting up the convo can be easier.

But krs will probably be really straightforward and just go to their workshop or wtv and ask them to create it. Everything else is up to you.

So about how you’re gonna start the Fic I really want you to include both cale(og krs) and og krs..when he was og krs? 😭

Timeline can be after cale stabbed him self with a chopstick, (you should probably not include hunters cuz they’re a bitch and just toooooooo much) or a few years prior to that event when they just be chilling in the villa and cale Vibing with his slacker life.

I should have probably explained this at first since all the things I said about og krd is when cale is recalling a record when he’s at the training grounds at the villa or black castle/castle of light? In the FOD.

So liek the wolf kids be training with Choi Han and Hannah and one of them (your choice) ask cale if he knows how to wield any type of weapons.

We know cale would say no but for the sake of this Fic….he’ll tell them.

And his family should probably know about the transmigration but no need to write that it’s too much. But say that they know about it and they chill.

So when one of them asks this question all of them focus on cale bcz they want to know too. Especially Choi Han (if he isn’t the one who asked) since he knows about the weapons on earth.

So yea cale says he wields a sniper they ask what that is (add convo of your choice and other people present when this convo happens if you want) amd fast forward to when cale is sketching out a blue print for a sniper.yes. They go to the lab and shit and stuff stuff I don’t want to write too much about this bcz it’s not important details I trust you can take care of that. So Rosalyn and Eruhaben are there cuz if not then where would they be lol. Cale gives the blue print to Eruhaben and told the group to get out so he can start creating it (ik they should probably go to a blacksmith or weaponsmith….? Idk but sniper pretty complicated and literally from another world so it’s should be handled by gramps) Choi Han asks about the bullets and cale says he wrote the formula and materials to make the stuff inside a bullet (yk the powder thingy that’s black) on the blue print.

So fast forward two days later or how ever much you want. The sniper is created and literally all of his family at this point heard of this new weapon and they’re very curious so all of them gathered in the training grounds (all of them should be there but you can choose who to include in dialogue and narration so yea ppl can be there but you just don’t know..)

Oh yea cale should probably wear headphones or the equivalent of headphones in that world I guess should probably exist since winter and the cold exist so yea OH EAR MUFFLERS I think that’s what they called so yea that.

It’s 12 rn so I’ll finish this tomorrow but the outline right now is:

1-Someone ask cale about weapon. He creat blue print. He request grandpa to make weapon

2-during the time Eruhaben the creating the sniper he recalls a record which is what I told you about I DONT WANNA WRITE UT AGIAN A

Age: around 230, he'd be the equal of someone in their 70ties as a human (though he'd be a very fit grandpa/his kind when translated to human ages would still regularly live past 100)

Height: 190 cm

Occupation: Former Overshadower Council member, now a fugitive of the law

Family: wife Yui (A spiderwoman spirit/popular jazz singer) son Jurou (A tattoo artist/protagonist of this story) late daughter Meredith, grandson Ichirou, adoptive grandson Caelan, granddaughter Hitomi.

Friends: His manor staff Thalia, Mihail, Scarlet, and Aiden.

Love interest: Wife Yui

Abilities:

Soul Devouring: As a soul eater, he can devour the souls of anything that has one. He's also naturally very resistant to possession as a Soul eater, and can devour any soul trying to do so.

Inhuman body: He is incredibly durable and can basically only be damaged by light magic based weapons and attacks. He's also physically strong, able to tear people to pieces with his bare hands if he wants to, even now despite his age.

Shadow Magic: Since he is specifically a "Sorcerer" type soul eater, instead of transforming into a more powerful form, he has a full grasp of shadow element magic and is able to manipulate it at will in any way he likes, from changing its shape and composition from solid, to liquid, to gas. He can also use it to traverse/phase through walls and hide from people.

Soul Link: Like most Soul eaters, he can create mental links with people he trusts, and sense if they are in trouble. Soul eaters do this automatically with family, unless the said family didn't grow up with them; he had to establish Soul Links retroactively with Hitomi and Caelan for example.

Summoning Stone: Like most soul eaters, he creates "summoning stones" naturally, that appear in random places in human realm. He has no control over this process, apart from occasionally willing for one to appear in a specific place.

Demon knowledge: He is very familiar with demonic magic of all sorts and knows how to utilize or counter it.

Curse of Shadow: Harrow had a curse placed on him during the conflict, which was meant to essentially take him over and turn him against his own kind via madness of sorts. He however was too mentally resilient for that, so instead he's able to control the curse's powers to an extent; he's basically able to transform into a shadow (solid/liquid-like/seemingly normal one) and change his size and shape however he wants, essentially granting him the transformation ability he normally doesn't have. This comes with a great risk however.

Weaknesses:

Since he is not Spirit type like his children, Harrow doesn't naturally have a demonic form and is generally seen as a "weaker" Soul eater type; this means he's even more vulnerable to light magic than his son, where it can completely cripple his powers and seal them away.

What shapeshifting he CAN do comes from his curse, which mainly manifests as his blackened right hand in passive state. While the power is helpful, if he uses it too much he risks losing control of it, being unable to return back to his more physical, normal form. He could end up literally evaporating himself into nothing but a shadow.

He's impulsive and doesn't always consider what others might think of his choices/what the full consequences may be, even if he always means well. This has resulted in strained relationship with his son, difficulty meeting his grand-kids, and missing his beloved daughter's death. Given he's already lost one family, he really hates being apart from them, but doesn't want to go back to prison, or put them at risk for secretly hiding him from the law.

Personality:

Harrow is quite eccentric character who prefers doing things his way, and isn't afraid to speak his mind. He's always been somebody who wants to have influence in a larger scale to be able to aid those weaker than him, given what he went through as a child.

While intelligent, his impulsive nature sometimes prevents him from fully thinking things through, and while Harrow has +20 charisma and charm, it doesn't always save him from getting into trouble. He does also have the "goofy eccentric grandpa" vibe to him, which also can help him deal with sticky situations, or just make his grand-kids laugh or in Hitomi's case, feel more confident and comfortable.

He's willing to do ANYTHING to protect his family, even things his family may not agree with/wouldn't necessarily want him doing, like murder. He's kind of a stubborn man and doesn't always listen to those he really should, although he is willing to admit if he fucks up, and apologize. He tends to not regret his actions though, only if the said actions hurt someone he cares for.

BG Story Summary

When Harrow was a child, there was a growing conflict between Soul Eaters and Demons on the isle his family lived in, eventually turning into a full blown conflict/civil war of sorts. Eventually the conflict was resolved by the Overshadowers council from Chrysalis city, but it was mostly too late for his family, as all of them had perished in the battle.

Harrow hadn't even reached his maturity age yet, where his aging would slow at the time, so he was put under the watch of the Council given S.E powers tended to be unpredictable at this stage. He did eventually get access to his late family's belongings once he became a proper adult, but did not want to move back to the isle where his trauma and horrors originated from.

Instead, he used his family's wealth to buy himself a humbler home within Chrysalis, though he spend little time there initially, preferring to travel around the human realm, wanting to understand why beings that were all essentially the same still fought each other needlessly, similarly to how demons and Soul Eaters were distant cousins.

He met Yui during his travels, and helped her save her villagers from a natural disaster. Her former home was destroyed by it though, so Harrow asked if she'd like to come stay in his realm until they could find her a new lake to reside in, which was admittedly difficult given the turbulent time the human world was in at the time (world wars). She ended up falling in love - both with him and a music type from human world that was becoming popular among the Mirror world citizens, Jazz - and decided to stay with him.

Due to the knowledge he'd gained from his travels, and his general power and family's past influence, Harrow was eventually asked to join the Overshadowers Council. He was hesitant at first, but accepted figuring he could perhaps have more influence through it.

During his time there, he didn't have much time for his kids, something he's rather mournful about even today, but did his best to spend time with both anytime he could, being especially close with his daughter Meredith.

Things would change soon however, as he realizes that his son was born with an ancient, forbidden power, and what's more, the Council knew it too, and some members were planning on kidnapping his child and trying to erase his power out of fear towards the ability. Overhearing this, Harrow ends up confronting the two, the resulting fight ending with the pair's death.

He was sent in prison because of this crime, with his family not knowing why he did something so drastic until after his escape years later, as the new Council member and the leader of the infamous Shadowless, Kenzo, revealed them the truth he'd learned from Harrow shortly before his escape. Harrow did keep in contact with his son during this time via the mental link, but has been unable to return to the Mirror World physically.

During his second time travelling in the human realm, he did eventually run across his son's human lover, but chose to stay away from her to respect his son's desire to not involve her in his world, which Jurou perceived as too dangerous for her. Unknowingly to Jurou she'd had his daughter, but Harrow chose not to tell his son about it, again, to respect his son's wishes.

It is one of those incidents where he wishes he'd actually gone with his usual style of talking to the two, rather than try to make amends to his son; ironically him doing what he was asked this one time, led to a sad outcome with his granddaughter losing her mother....

Fun Facts:

He's pansexual, and he and Yui often had discussions of which celebrity/public figure/widely known human they both found attractive. Or their confusion and disdain towards human world's homophobia, which to them sounds ludicrous thing to hate someone over (its not a thing in Mirror world, there's other things to discriminate people against.....)

Soul eaters generally fall under the 2 categories, with elemental types being "Sorcerers" and beast types being "Spirits" though this can vary. Harrows birth family had a Spider Soul eater father, and Shadow soul eater mother, resulting in his elemental power with Spider motifs

During his time in human realm after his escape, Harrow has ended up parenting quite a few people, and still keeps in touch with some of them. Some know he's Not Human, others don't.

Many of the people he met was because they either accidentally or purposefully used his summoning stone to bring him there. There are few cases where this meeting was more organic though

Since he can't visit his daughter's memorial in Mirror world, he tends to pay his respects to her by visiting whatever place dedicated to mourning exists within the region he's currently in. Temple, graveyard, church, etc.

He likes to pull the "old man" act around people who don't realize how strong and fit he actually is, to get away with things or catch people off-guard. He's used this to save the humans he's currently looking after, or just used it to not have to do chores. He jokingly does this with his family too, though they don't buy it, obviously.

Kenzo is actually secretly working to try and dig out the evidence needed/convince the Council to get his sentencing pardoned, which isn't the easiest task given the severity of the crime and the fear towards the God Eater ability that Jurou has, which led to those two members getting killed by Harrow for trying to take his son and render him powerless.

His main reason of trying to understand the nature of conflict through humans is due to a lot of the aspects that lead to fighting having come from them; plenty of beings in his world either originate from humans, or regularly interact with them (without the humans knowing necessarily) so he figured perhaps it was influence from them, that even his kind fall into this behavior.

His conclusion from these travels at the time was, that humans and his kin aren't that different, and it seems to be something inherent in all living beings to be complicated, messy and overall prone to both good and bad things to varying levels.

As a child he actually used to look down on humans/beings directly born from humans (like half-bloods such as his granddaughter) somewhat, just like the rest of his family, before his travels.

Needless to say, he absolutely adores all of his grand-kids, regardless of how they became part of his family.

His hat belonged to Harrow's father, which is why it still has their family insignia, despite it not being really used by rest of his current family.

Hm… well… it really depends on what type of angel in my opinion but I’ll go with a few basics. Obviously flight and I personally would go with some sort of healing ability, whether they are good at using that ability or how much they can use is up to you. I think that angels can’t age but can die if killed with a specific weapon or by a powerful enough creature/person. I love dream walking so I’d definitely add that in there, y’know the ability to enter dreams and do stuff within them, whether to make them nightmares or to communicate with someone when they are sleeping.

Smiting is always a fun one, my personal headcanons when it comes to smiting is they have to actually touch said person they wish to smite unless they are powerful enough to do it mentally which takes a lot of power. Better senses in every sense of the way, hearing, taste, smell, strength, etc. It doesn’t have to be by a lot but definitely way better than normal humans.

Being able to read minds if they have the permission of the person would be pretty cool imo. Let’s see what else… Being able to tell when a human is lying to them would also be pretty cool, idk tho, I might add to this later but I love fantasy things so if you have anything to do with powers, let me know and I could help!!! :D

i don't have art energy so here's a talky about how my designs are

so basically, slugcats to me are equivalently like eeveelutions from pokemon. highly adaptive, mother nature fears them, father evolution gave them a line of coke, that sorta thing.

as slugpups they start out as a blank canvas and as they grow and age in certain environments they get certain traits to adapt to the environment and even mimicking creatures

my "rules" were not to have repeats (within my canon scugs at least) and not to have any default edible items. hazer doesn't count because its technically an item at first also i didnt know what else sorry.

individual slugcats!

survivor: scavenger-inspired, but not too heavily because they switch environments a lot. (meta: i thought scavs were the perfect neutral symbol, with how their reputation is finicky and stuff, and theyre also highly intelligent! like our default slugcat)

monk: rain deer bc passive and goopy (meta: idk i just thought rain deer were the most passive a creature could get without being edible)

hunter: the rot. becau

gourmand: lantern mice! they might not have grown up in shaded citadel (as far as we know) but they still adapted because i think lantern mice and slugcats share a common ancestor. (meta: they spawn in shaded citadel and also are passiveish)

artificer: cyan lizards/leapzards! jumpy and i think they use the same propulsion method. (meta: aggressive and also the most terrible lizard type dont @ me)

rivulet: jetfish! just an iconic water critter that's neutral and also incredibly annoying sometimes

spearmaster: spitter spider! just kind of weird and freaky and Not Right (meta: i feel like the spiders captured just the right amount of freaky and tied to their abilities, with the whole organic weapon thing)

saint: echo. because. canon

enot/inv/sofanthiel: ...they don't really have a creature because theyre so Not in this world. they're like eldritch horror that also tries to dating sim the inhabitants of this world

nightcat: hazer! because they camouflage! in my headcanon, at least... also theyre hte sameish color

tbh if anyone can resist the time travelling sword, it's nikolai. he just has to act very fast. make his hand appear and immediately shoot fukuchi in the head while the rest of him is hidden somewhere. maybe even just send the barrel of the gun alone tbh. so yeah he technically COULD beat him he has to be very fast and accurate and fukuchi might be able to use this quick moment to cut his hand/the gun/the bullet it shoots. i imagine that fukuchi's reflexes are probably faster than nikolai's too so ngl the odds aren't looking too great. BUT at least he can run away and hide very easily 👍

tanizaki:

oh now THIS is spicy. tanizaki has the best chance at getting close to him more than anyone else! and if he's got a gun he could easily take him out too. however, it seems tanizaki is more of a melee guy from what we've seen so far, in which case he either has to slit his throat super quick or smth, or nikolai could use the opportunity to overpower him (metaphorically. idk how strong he actually is. i mean like, with a weapon or smth)

if no abilities are allowed then i don't think he stands much of a chance tbh 😭 it seems he's more of a clever strategizer than a physically strong fighter tbh? like we see him use weapons and even weird constructions and methods to kill or otherwise hurt his victims. so yeah he can use those but if he doesn't get the upper hand through the usage of his ability, most of these (except maybe tanizaki, and idk if kenji can even turn his ability off if its conditions are met??) can beat him in hand to hand combat through speed or power 😔

#if this is about actual ping pong. then. i apparently don't know enough about ping pong to say #ajsjfkgg as in idk how to strategize around it. I'm sorry 😭#but i do hope you enjoy the violence 👍 and sorry again 👎

How to play the bucket (from The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe) in D&D 5e

(I'll be using it/they pronouns for the bucket in this post)

Themes: - Calming presence - Transformed entity - Is a bucket

Race: Custom lineage

Creature type: Humanoid technically. But they are a bucket and look like a bucket. Size: Small Speed: 30 ft (But they won't be walking, at least not when anyone is looking) Ability score increase: +2 to Charisma (Due to shiny-ness and better than average ability to transport liquids from one place to another.) Variable trait: Choose proficiency in History (because they lived through a lot of it) Languages: Common and idk, uh… Modron?

Feat: Fey Touched. (Mostly just for the abilities, but maybe the evil wizard Gambhorra'ta was a fey? Who knows.) - Increase the bucket's Charisma further with this feat, with a +1. - The bucket also get a free Misty Step. (We don't see the bucket move anywhere, it only appears, which equals teleportation.) - Also choose a 1st level spell from the Divination or Enchantment schools of magic. Choose Bless (A spell of reassurance)

Stats: Use point buy to get these stats:

STR 10 (For carrying water) DEX 8 (Buckets aren't very agile) CON 14 (HP baby!!) INT 10 (A bucket of average intelligence) WIS 14 (Wisdom gained from the probably hundreds of years it’s existed) CHA 18 (15 +2 Race +1 Feat = shiny, reassuring bucket)

Background: Haunted one

Proficiencies: Choose Arcana (for knowing about the machinations of Gambhorra'ta) and Religion (I would call recalling bucket lore, ex: two handled bucket, a Religion check) Languages: Uh… Deep Speech and Celestial, maybe???

Feat: Heart of Darkness 'Those who look into your eyes can see that you have faced unimaginable horror and that you are no stranger to darkness. Though they might fear you, commoners will extend you every courtesy and do their utmost to help you. Unless you have shown yourself to be a danger to them, they will even take up arms to fight alongside you, should you find yourself facing an enemy alone.' (Fits the bucket perfectly, don't you think?)

LVL 1, Bard 1

Proficiencies: Combat stuff: Light armor, simple weapons, hand crossbows, longswords, rapiers, shortswords Musical instruments: Steel drums, washboard and uh… maracas? Saving throws: Dexterity, Charisma Skills: Choose Persuasion (for convincing people that everything is alright and to do what you say) Stealth and Slight of Hand (the bucket stole a sacred amulet from Gambhorra'ta's treasured vaults, after all)

Features:

Bardic inspiration: The bucket can use stirring words to inspire a creature within 60 ft as a bonus action. For the next 10 minutes that creature can add a bardic inspiration die, currently a d6, to their next attack roll, saving throw or ability check and the die is then used up. Bardic inspiration can be used 4 times per long rest with the bucket's charisma stat. (So, this is another way for the bucket to reassure someone.)

Spellcasting: The bucket can use an instrument as a spellcasting focus. (The instrument that the bucket will be using is an improvised steel drum. Meaning a bucket. The bucket will use itself as a spellcasting focus.) Also, Bards can do ritual casting. (Which is awesome, since one of the most important spells for this build is a ritual. So there are no spell slots wasted on it.)

Spells: Cantrips: Bladeward (because buckets have resistance to physical damage) Message (for whispering into creatures minds, like in the bucket apartment ending)

1st level: Charm Person (The bucket becomes the friend of anyone it touches) Command (á la, bucket apartment ending) Heroism (One of the essential reassurance spells) Unseen servant (For carrying the bucket around when no one else is there. Is a ritual spell, so no spell slots wasted on moving like this)

LVL 2, Bard 2

Features:

Jack of all trades: Add half of the buckets proficiency bonus to any ability check with which doesn't already include its proficiency bonus. (The bucket is decent at many things)

Song of rest: When having a short rest and using this feature, the creatures partaking in it heal an extra d6 HP, if they use hit dice. (The bucket's soothing presence heals the mind and body)

Magical inspiration: If a creature has a bardic inspiration die and heals someone with a spell, they can add the die to the HP healed.

Spells: 1st level: Cure wounds (More bucket soothing power!)

LVL 3, Bard 3

Features:

Bard College: Choose the College of Lore (The bucket knows a lot of things, and we need the features for the build.)

Bonus proficiencies: Choose Insight (for more insight into how to best soothe or manipulate), Deception (to keep their true from secret to those who should not know) Intimidation (the bucket can be intimidating when it wants to)

Cutting words: When a creature that the bucket can see within 60 feet of them makes an attack roll, an ability check, or a damage roll, they can use your reaction to expend one of its uses of Bardic Inspiration, rolling a Bardic Inspiration die and subtracting the number rolled from the creature's roll. (The bucket manipulates others who may harm it or the people it cares about. Maybe it's the jealousy of the creatures not having the bucket that blinds them.)

Expertise: Add double the proficiency bonus to two chosen skills. Choose: Persuasion (More reassurance and manipulation) and Insight (for even more insight into how to best soothe or manipulate)

Spells: 2nd level: Calm emotions (Another essential reassurance spell)

LVL 4, Bard 4

Features:

Ability score improvement: Choose a feat instead.

Feat: Magic initiate (For some more bucket magic) The bucket learns two cantrips and can use a 1st level spell of a chosen class, using the spellcasting ability of that class to cast them. Choose Druid and these spells:

Cantrips: Guidance (More reassurance!) Primal Savagery (a partial transformation into it's true form, mostly its glistening teeth)

1st level: Absorb elements (Buckets are known for taking in and then pouring out things. Why wouldn't it apply to elements too? (In all honesty, I just wanted to get this cool spell that isn't on the Bard spell list.))

Spells: (From the Bard spell list this time) Cantrips: Friends (the only in character cantrip left) 2nd level: Suggestion (more bucket apartment ending things)

LVL 5, Bard 5

Features:

Bardic inspiration die improvement: The bucket's inspiration die is now a d8. (The bucket is more inspiring now! It's inspiring Stanley to be a better coworker.)

Font of inspiration: The bucket regains all of their expended uses of Bardic Inspiration when they finish a short or long rest. (Wow… The bucket is even helping itself recover after hardships…)

Spells: 3rd level: Sending (More speaking into people's heads)

LVL 6, Bard 6

Features:

Countercharm: The bucket can use it's action to give advantage on saving throws against being frightened or charmed to it and any friendly creatures within 30 feet of it. This effect lasts until the end of its next turn.

Additional magical secrets: The bucket learns two spells of their choice from any class. The chosen spells count as bard spells for it but don't count against the number of bard spells it knows. Choose:

3rd level: Beacon of Hope (Reassurance spell!)

2nd level: Alter self (For beginning able to not drown underwater and more partial transformation into true form. (Honestly, I think Primal Savagery is better for partial true form, cuz it uses the Wisdom mod, which is better than the Strength mod that Alter Self uses because of unarmed attack)

Spells: (From the Bard spell list this time) 3rd level: Fast Friends (More manipulation á la bucket apartment ending. (Or choose Mass healing word or Motivational speech, they're as in character as this one)

LVL 7, Bard 7

Spells: 4th level: Polymorph (The true transformation into the true form!)

True form tangent: The highest CR thing the bucket's true form can be is a Giant Ape, which does have teeth, which is the only descriptor we get from the game. So, yeah. There are choices to be had now. Do you want their true form to be a Giant Ape? Or do you want to work with your DM to make it something else, but use Giant Ape stats? Or do you want to scour the list of beasts for one that you think is closest to your imagined look for their true form? It's awesome, the freedom given by only the briefest of visual descriptions of their true form! You can make it whatever you want. It's like the Narrator's visual design that way, just make up whatever and use your creativity! Hm. How about we in the fandom start making Bucket True Form designs? Are you up for it? You don't have to be, just an idea I had.

Didn't wanna make this a 20 LVL build like my Stanley and the Narrator one that I'm working on, since this is a shit post or something that I took too seriously. You could continue this if you want. You could get like, Tenser's Transformation and True Polymorph or something.

Anyway, an alternative build would be to switch out Fey Touched with Telepathic. That's super valid.
