Stop putting your watermark over the pictures; it’s stupid and annoying. Why do you do it because it's just a screenshot from the game?

Because I actually own(paid for) the game, take time and effort to capture and edit the screenshots. Which includes replaying missions and cinematics more than once. Also because in the past people would repost and put their watermark on it or later on remove/blur out my watermark (still). Lastly it's there so you're traced back to the OP, me. Tonight I bring you a very Soft audio of Paul singing Happy Birthday to (based on context I'm assuming) one of these kids at the Bread & Roses Music Festival Concert, October 3rd, 1981. The crowd joins in pretty quickly so we unfortunately don't have a full "Paul Sings Happy Birthday audio" (as far as I know??) because that would be really cool. A super wholesome listen nonetheless!

The Youtube channel that has the remainder of this performance uploaded describes it as a setlist of 11 songs yet they had only uploaded 10. So I did some digging and yeah, turns out this mysterious 11th song he performed was "Happy Birthday" and I'm not even mad about it.

okay more ramblings about Dark Marle bc i think about her so much. so her possession is much more indirect than the rest of the possessed characters in Puyo Puyo (Dark Arle & Strange Klug). she has complete free will & autonomy, but her memories and motivations have been distorted to where she's just doing Squares's bidding. she's not doing this all because someone has taken control of her body, she's doing it because they've made her believe that's what she wants to do.

however, Squares is clearly watching over her actions carefully, as whenever she starts questioning if this is really fun, she gets a sudden headache and starts acting weird again- Squares is regaining control of her brain.

which brings me to the point of this rant.

near the end of chapter 2, she says this after she gets a headache.

and this... this is definitely Squares speaking.

even though Marle's brain has been distorted and corrupted by Squares, she's still Marle. even as Dark Marle, she never lashes out like this UNLESS it's just after a headache. at worst she gets a bit miffed at Lemres.

(↑ literally the angriest dark marle getting in a situation not involving a headache (afaik))

Squares HAS the ability to completely control Dark Marle, but only uses it to keep her from breaking out of his control. possibly because it's easier to let her do her own thing, with her already being obsessed with "fun" and all, or it simply takes to much energy to control her constantly (my money's on both).

there might be more examples of Squares talking through Marle (i don't have the energy to comb through the chapter 4 cutscenes rn lol) but i find the example from chapter 2 shown above really sticks out to me. it's really interesting, is it not?
